Hello my dearest friends! It's KawaiiGirl here and I just want to add a quick announcement here!

So I've been very busy with school and its final exams and I just wanted to apologise for the really long updates, I'll do my best to upload more and quicker since I'm graduating from High School now. I've also been into other movies and shows lately and that also made me (almost) forget about this fanfic completely, but now I'm back!

Also quick reminder: If you have any ideas or if you wanna see something happen in my fanfic, don't be afraid to tell me and I will try and add your idea(s)!

AT HOPPER'S HIDEOUT

The gang were having a party, they were dancing, singing, eating and drinking. Hopper wasn't really joining his gang with the party, he had other things to do. Hopper was chilling by the puddle and shading with an umbrella, thinking about the colony and what he should really do with it. "I don't think I should try and kill the queen, the princess, or that stupid ant." He thought to himself, "I just remembered what happened last time I tried to kill the old queen, that ant made the colony turn against me and almost got me killed! If I try to kill them, the colony would attack me and my gang again and get me killed for real this time!" Hopper kept on thinking and thinking, when his most trusted gang member (also known as his second-in-command) named Otis exited the hideout and approached Hopper. "Hey Hopper!" He called, "You're missing out on quite a party!" Hopper looked at him, "I don't have time for parties now Otis." Hopper told him, "I'm using this time to think on what to do with that colony once I return! I can't kill the queen, the princess, and that ant who almost got me killed because if I do that then I might end up dead for real this time! Just like what happened all those years ago!"

Otis stood for a moment before sitting next to Hopper, "Is there anything that the colony is afraid of? Like are they scared of you?" He asked his boss. "I don't think they are as much as they used to be after I killed their old king! After I tried to kill their queen, the ant I told you about encouraged the-." Before Hopper could finish, Otis jumped in annoyed. "I know: he encouraged the colony to stand up to you and that's when they attacked you, stuffed you into a cannon, and then it rained, you broke free from the cannon and abducted the ant but he was rescued by the princess (now queen) and they lead you to a bird nest where you were almost killed by bird and her chicks. You told me that a million times!" Otis said. Hopper then glared at him, "You really think I don't know that?" "I didn't say you forgot!" Otis replied putting his hands up, "But I already knew what you were going to say!" Hopper rolled his eyes before standing up, "Anyway, I need to think of something else! What can I do to make them more scared?" He said, pacing back and forward. "You can marry Queen Atta." Otis said, stupidly. Hopper gave him a look of disgust, "Ew, why would I marry her? That's the most stupidest thing I've ever heard you say in my life!" "Well why don't you take a break! I'm sure you'll think of something later or during the party!" Otis said. "No!" Hopper snapped, "I don't want any distractions!"

Otis sighed, "Hop, you've been out here all day and you've never thought of anything yet! And your skin is shedding off! Come take a break! You really need one!" Hopper rolled his eyes and sighed, "Fine, but one time only!" The two then walked into the hideout and sat at the bar.

Otis then cleared his throat, "You know, Hop.." Otis began, "I thought about kidnapping the royal family and that ant, but maybe we can also just take one." Hopper immediately look at Otis, "Kidnap them? I never really thought of that... But yes we can do that!" Hopper smirked, "But, I only want you to kidnap one ant! The ant who almost got me killed!" "Why him?" Otis asked. Hopper gave him a 'really?' look, "I'm pretty sure that was enough explanation." Hopper said, but Otis shook his head.

Hopper groaned, "I'll explain later! Just... GET ME THAT ANT!" The gang froze and looked at Hopper. Hopper noticed this and stood up, "I need volunteers to go with Otis to get that ant out numbered us, find him and bring him back alive and unharmed! If I see a single cut or bruise or anything on him, let's see who gets squished instead!" Hopper said to his gang, but only five members volunteered to go with Otis to kidnap Flik. "Very well then." Hopper said, "You know what to do! Get him and bring him back here alive and unharmed!" The six grasshoppers nodded and flew off back to the island to find Flik.

MEANWHILE AT THE BUG CITY

Flik and Atta were at the bug bar and having their little honeymoon date while Dim sat at a different table, munching on his food. Flik and Atta were chatting and laughing and cuddling (and they were doing a bit of kissing... but anyway...), when a strange buzzing sound (familiar to Dim and every citizen in the bug bar) was heard, everyone froze and looked to the entrance where the flies flew right in. "Hey! You bugs are banned from this place remember?!" A bartender shouted at them, but Thug grabbed the bartender and growled at him, making the bartender scream and run out of the bar. "Coward!" One fly said. The flies then spotted Dim glaring at them, "Hey look! It's the dumb beetle from the circus!" Another fly said as they flew over to him. Flik and Atta spotted the flies flying towards Dim and they immediately got up from their table and rushed over to Dim and shield him, making the flies stop and laugh. "Aww! Are two little ants here to rescue a shy dumb beetle?" The first fly teased, but Atta stomped forward and came face to face with the fly. "Leave him alone you hideous looking insects!" The flies were impressed by her toughness and then they noticed her crown on her head. "What are you wearing? A grandma's hat?" The flies laughed. Atta was offended, "This 'hat' is the crown that belonged to my mother because she was the queen of ant island!" The flies were fascinated by the fact that it's a queen's crown. "Oooh, maybe I can wear that crown and become King of the Island!" A fly said as he reached for Atta's crown, but Flik stepped in. "The island already has a King!" He said as he pointed to his crown on his head.

The flies looked at him and then at Queen Atta. "Well give me your crown, King!" the same fly said as he flew up to Flik to get his crown, but he was hit by something which stopped him from getting to the King. Everyone looked to see that Dim had hit the fly with his horn and growled at him, "Don't touch Dim's friends!" Dim said to the fly. "And what are you going to do to make us?" The fly asked. Dim growled and approached the fly, the fly then laughed nervously. "Woah! Okay you're pretty tough!" The fly said nervously, "But I bet you can't face our pal Thug!" Thug then stomped over to Dim and growled, Dim was nervous but decided to fight him anyway. Flik and Atta try to rush over to help Dim, but the two other flies appeared behind them and held them back, "You two aren't going anywhere!" The fly gripping Atta said as the two tried to break free. Dim noticed the flies holding the King and Queen back to prevent them from helping him and tried to rush over to help them, but Thud blocked his path. "You want your friends? Defeat me!" Thud told Dim, pounding his fists. Dim gulped but got into attack position.

Everyone in the bar cheered on Dim and encouraged him to defeat Thud and save his friends. Dim stood completely still in fear and then he heard Rosie's voice in his head, "Dim, you're a lot stronger and braver than everyone thinks! Show them you're really made of it!" Dim smiled at that quote said by this adoptive mother when he was being bullied and decided to take her advice and his scared expression, turned into fierce and bravery and her growled at Thud while Thud growled back at him. A few moments later, Thud charged at Dim, ready to throw a punch. But Dim didn't move and stayed where he was, making Flik and Atta nervous. "What is he doing?" Atta questioned, anxious, "He's supposed to be fighting, not standing there!" "Looks like your loser friend is going down!" The fly holding Flik taunted. Flik didn't react to him, he kept his focus and worriness on Dim! "Come on Dim!" Flik mumbled, "You got this!"

Thud got closer and closer to Dim and was about to punch him, when Dim took flight and Thud missed him and crashed into a table. Everyone laughed and so did Dim, but Dim accidentally flew too high and flew into the ceiling of the can. Everyone cringed, but Thud and the other flies laughed. Thud got up from the table he knocked over and started to approach The King and Queen who were still being held back by the other flies, "I told you he was stupid! And he always will be a-" Before Thud could finish, Dim landed right on top of him, knocking Thud out! The flies gasped and released Flik and Atta and rushed over to Thud as Dim got off of him. Dim rushed over to Flik and Atta to see if they were ok. "Flik and Atta okay?" Dim asked them. "We're fine." Flik said. "But are you ok?" Atta asked, "You looked like you hit your head pretty hard!" Dim smiled, "Dim always ok and strong!" Flik and Atta smiled at him and hugged him, "We're so proud of you!" Flik told Dim, "Boy the colony and the circus bugs are gonna hear about this!" Atta nodded, "Maybe we should head home, I had the time of my life in this city!" she said. Flik and Dim nodded and the three left the bar and flew back to ant island (Flik rode on Dim because he can't fly).

BACK ON ANT ISLAND

The colony was finishing up cleaning up the wedding decorations and the Blueberry scout was making a welcome back sign for the newly married couple when they get back from their honeymoon. The Circus Bugs were going to set up an act to perform as a little wrap on the day.

Dot then started to get worried all of a sudden, she stopped working on the sign and left the anthill and then looked out in the distance from ant island. Francis noticed her and approached the young princess. "Hey, what's eating ya kid?" he asked. Dot turned to her den mother, "What if they don't return?" She asked, "What if the grasshoppers found them outside the island and captured them, or even killed them?" Francis sighed, "Oh, Dot." He then wrapped his arm around her, "Dim is with them, he'll protect them at all costs... *mumbling* I hope..." Dot looked up at him from his mumble, "What did you say?" she asked. Francis straightened up fast, "Nothing!" He said. Dot then side-eyed him. "Kid, trust me! They'll be fine, Dim is very tough and he'll protect them!" "What if you're wrong?" Dot asked. Francis frowned, "If I'm wrong, then I'm wrong. But we'll be able to save them!" he spoke softly. Dot looked at the ground, but then heard a strange buzzing! Everyone looked up and saw that Dim and the Royal Couple had returned! Dot was over-joyed to see them return, she was jumping up and down and ran into the anthill to tell the Blueberries to get their sign ready! The circus bugs got their act ready, and waited for them to fully arrive.

The three landed on the ground and were welcomed back by the colony and the circus bugs. Dot ran up to them and gave the three big old hugs! "I missed you guys so much!" Dot cried. "We missed you too!" Flik and Atta said to Dot. "Why are guys back so early?" Rosie asked, "I thought you were going to be gone for a few days!" Flik and Atta exchanged looks. "We sort of ran into a little situation with the flies..." Flik explained, rubbing the back of his head. "Oh..." The circus bugs mumbled. "I guess that is a reason..." Francis said, annoyed. "I'm sorry they ruined your honeymoon!" Gypsy told the Royal couple. "Did Dim protect you guys?" Rosie asked, "Because not only I sent him off to take you to the city and back, I also sent him to protect you in case any danger happens!" Flik and Atta smirked at each other and at Dim. "He sure did protect us!" Atta said. "He won a fight between him and Thug!" Flik told everyone. "Thug?!" All of the Circus Bugs gasped in shock. "Oh Dim I'm so proud of you!" Rosie told Dim as she ran up to hug him. Dim blushed and then winked at Flik and Atta.

P.T was getting impatient on Flik and Atta telling them what had happened in the city so he broke everything up. "OK! You're home now and you're safe! But we got another little something to show you!" P.T exclaimed. Flik and Atta looked at each other in curiosity, "What something?" Att asked. "You'll see!" P.T told Atta, "Places my troupe! Including you Dim!" "But P.T! Dim has no idea what is going on!" Francis told the flea. "He'll learn once he sees it!" P.T replied, jumping over to the King and Queen. The circus bugs rushed to their places to prepare their act.

P.T led the two couples to their seats, "Please enjoy the show!" P.T told them as he hopped off. "Looks like it's another circus act!" Atta whispered to Flik. "Yeah, no kidding!" Flik replied, giggling. P.T then gathered a crowd of ants and the show began. "Ladies and Gentlebugs!" He began, "I introduce an act performed by my lousiest circus troupe of all time! They've been planning it all out ever since the newly married couple left for their honeymoon! Please enjoy the act which I've forgotten to name!" Everyone applauded and laughed. Although, Dim had no idea what was going on, luckily he was able to perform perfectly by Tuck and Roll riding on his back while Rosie was whipping him. Manny and Gypsy performed a little magic trick for the couple, Gypsy handed Manny a leaf and he pulled out a rock. "For you two!" Manny said as he gave Flik and Atta the rock. The two laughed nervously as they took the rock, "It's a rock!" They joked, making everyone laugh and cheer. The circus bugs then performed The Robin Hood act. Francis was Robin Hood, Heimlich was Little John, and Slim was Robin Hood's sword. Dim, Rosie, Tuck and Roll, and Manny were the enemy and Gypsy was the damsel in distress. The act was fun and everyone enjoyed it, it even got Flik and Atta's mind of the incident at the city and Hopper's return.

Soon everyone was exhausted, they sure had a fun night to remember and they would never forget Flik and Atta's wedding. Flik was still trying to get his mind off the fact that he's king now and will need to be more responsible of his colony, but he wasn't as concerned about him being King as he was with being a good husband to Atta. He doesn't want to try and be the worst husband in the world, he wants to be a great husband and if they're ready: a great father. Yes.. He also wants to be a great father if him and Atta decide to have kids.

Atta then entered his chamber, she noticed he was stressed out again. "You're stressed out again?" Atta asked, annoyed. Flik looked at his wife, "I can't help it!" He exclaimed, "I want to get my mind off being a bad king and husband, but I just can't!" "It's a faze I went through too when I was in training." Atta told him, "I thought I was going to be bad... But nope! According to the colony, I'm an amazing Queen! I'm sure you'll be the best King this colony has ever asked for!" Flik kept his eyes on her, "I don't know if I can do it Atta." He said, "I didn't want to disappoint the colony from postponing the wedding because they've been so excited and they've been preparing for the wedding for a long time!" "I would've done the same thing if I was you!" Atta told Flik, "You care about the colony, that's the most important thing! You need to be a great leader and you need to care about the colony! You even took a leadership class when you were Dot's age!" Flik blushed in embarrassment, "But most of the leadership I learned was from your mom."

Atta giggled, but then she yawned. "It's late already, maybe we should get some sleep!" she said. Flik nodded, "Goodnight Atta!"

"Goodnight Flik!"

Atta then left the room and Flik went to bed.

But little did anyone know, the six grasshoppers who were sent on a mission to kidnap Flik were in the anthill! The grasshoppers left their hiding spot and went to find the chamber Flik was in. They came to a room and when they opened it, they saw an ant asleep in bed. It was so dark in the room, but they still somehow saw an ant asleep, they slowly approached the bed and stood over top of the ant. "Alright Flik!" Otis hissed, "Time to take you back to the boss!" 'Flik' heard them and slowly started to wake up. When 'he' saw the grasshoppers, 'Flik' was terrified and was about to scream when one of the grasshoppers stuffed 'him' into a sack made out of a leaf. 'Flik' tried to break out, but he wasn't able to and the grasshoppers flew away from the anthill and back to the hideout!

The next morning, the ants work up bright and early to start a new day. They began to collect food around the island and Queen Atta was keeping watch, waiting for her husband Flik to show up. A while past and Atta was starting to feel worried, she then rushed back into the anthill and searched for Flik and then she stumbled upon a crowd looking into a room; it was Dot's room. "What's going on?" She asked, trying to get through the crowd. Once she was through, she spotted a huge mess and everything was destroyed. Atta couldn't believe what she was seeing, but then she heard panting coming from down the hall. Everyone looked to see Flik!

"Flik there you are!" Atta said, "Where have you been?" "Sorry Honey! I slept in..." Flik explained, catching his breath but then he noticed the mess in Dot's room. "Woah!" He exclaimed, "What happened here?" "I don't know!" Atta said, "Dot's room is never this messy." "Hey, where is Dot?" Flik asked, "She's never up around this time." "Dot probably woke up early to hangout with her friends!" Said Dr. Flora. The blueberries then arrived and they heard what she said, "Dot's not with us either!"

Everyone started to discuss their theories on where Dot is, but Flik noticed a note lying on the bed. He walked over and read the note:

To whoever is reading this, we are holding this ant hostage.

If you ever want to see him again, get the food all gathered up by winter

and we'll set your little hero free!

Flik growled in anger, but then got confused. "Him?" He thought, "Was Hopper trying to get someone else? Like me?" Atta then approached Flik and looked at the note in his hand, "Flik, what is that?" Atta asked. Flik looked at his wife, "They took her!"
