Mean Smile, a cruel, sadistic man, arrives in Costa Brava hauling an enormous backpack full of surprise tools that will help him later to achieve his goals of making innocent people suffer. After arriving in the city, Mean Smile uses his "all waypoints unlocked" cheat to fast travel directly into the Shamazon Painforest, since he figures that anything called "Painforest" is likely to strongly align with his interests. Luckily for Mean Smile, Shamazon is once again distracted, and as such is not immediately alerted to Mean Smile's intrusive presence in the jungle. Instead, Shamazon is glaring angrily at a framed sheet of printer paper that seems to have been put up on the inner wall of the Painforest without proper authorization.
"Who did this? Grrr….you! Do you know who could be responsible for this?!" Shamazon whirls around, pointing at Mean Smile demandingly.
"Probably somebody pretty mean." Mean Smile retorts with a smirk.
"You know anyone like that?"
"No. Don't even know what mean people look like."
Shamazon brings out D and draws a quick sketch of a pretty mean person, which happens to bear a strong resemblance to Mean Smile.
"Hm, that's strange, I didn't mean to draw your likeness, I was just drawing an example of what a mean person might look like."
"Well, I'm flattered." Mean Smile smiles meanly.
"Hi flattered, I'm Dad!" says Dad.
"He didn't draw you, Dad!" Mean Smile snickers. Shamazon makes up for this by quickly drawing Dad to make things fair.
"How am I supposed to find the mean person who did this?!"
"Do you know anyone who owns a printer?" Mean Smile offers.
"I think I might…" Shamazon looks around, and spots Harrdy's brother and fellow geologist, Lugiuh, walking by. "Hey! You there, you have a printer, right?!"
Lugiuh nods confusedly, and within seconds, Shamazon has him pinned against the wall.
"Explain yourself this instant!" Shamazon yells. While Shamazon is preoccupied, Mean Smile throws assorted seeds around, and observes the confrontation from afar. Lugiuh is too confused to offer any explanation, and Shamazon tries to hold him at eraserpoint to get him to fess up, but since Lugiuh is not a Stand user, this method of intimidation doesn't accomplish much.
"Look, I just own a printer at home, I don't even know why you're asking!" Lugiuh eventually blurts. Shamazon drops Lugiuh to the ground, and points at the paper.
"Help me trace whoever left this here." Shamazon orders, and Lugiuh sighs, before checking the picture frame around the paper for fingerprints.
"Based on the angle of these fingerprints, it looks like whoever left this here retreated deeper into the jungle in that direction. They're very fresh, so the perpetrator shouldn't be too far away."
Shamazon accepts this explanation, and starts heading where Lugiuh indicated, soon coming across Goblin Gooblins, who is scurrying up a tree, with printer ink visibly staining his fingers. Without hesitation, Shamazon whips out D, and uses the eraser function to swiftly wipe Gooblins away. After doing this, though, Shamazon realizes that Mean Smile was yet another non-employee who somehow ended up in the Painforest, and he starts to feel as though he needs to be on high alert, as well as probably being quicker to the draw when it comes to dishing out punishment to those who trespass the Painforest. Shamazon decides that he's done giving out warnings and putting people in the Time-Out Box, and that going forwards, unless given very good reason, he will just erase intruders on sight. Shamazon rushes back to where he last saw Mean Smile, but finds that Mean Smile is no longer there. Mean Smile, who had stalked Shamazon to see what he was doing, saw Shamazon erase Gooblins from reality, and as such, has decided that he needs to treat Shamazon as a real threat. Mean Smile, hidden amidst the trees, takes off his massive backpack, and says the magic words to sacrifice the backpack and its contents in exchange for something of far greater value to him.
"STABSKATOOL, STABSKATOOL!" shouts Mean Smile. This of course alerts Shamazon to his whereabouts, but Mean Smile believes it will be worth it. Stoodles himself appears from the sky, consuming the backpack. After a few seconds, Stoodles spits out something in the backpack's place: Shrublicker's Ultima Box Cutter, now combined with many more knives and blades to become the legendary ultimate double-edged sword style weapon, known as the Multima Cutter. As Shamazon charges through the trees towards Mean Smile, Mean Smile turns around and swipes his new weapon through the air, creating an enormous, lingering slash effect which flies forwards, chopping through trees and vines as it approaches Shamazon. Shamazon tries to quickly turn around and get out of the way of the slash, but it nails him in the back, leaving a nasty, bleeding gash, which is thankfully cleaned up with ease by his Shamwow cape. Realizing that Mean Smile wields a weapon capable of dealing such damage even from a distance, Shamazon realizes the threat is even greater than he thought, but just as he's preparing to call in the guards to help him quell Mean Smile, Shamazon's Stand begins to let out a blaring alarm noise, which Shamazon recognizes as the dreaded invasive species alarm. At around this same time, Mean Smile suddenly hears a noise behind him, which happens to be the flapping of Bella's wings, as she, too, was drawn to the area by the loud shouting. Mean Smile narrows his eyes at Bella, contemplating how worthwhile her potential loot table would be to warrant trying to deal with an aerial target. Bella, on the other hand, seems to be very interested in the Multima Cutter for some reason, which Mean Smile mistakenly interprets as her wanting to steal it from him.
"No way, this thing's mine! The only way you'll get your hands on it is when I cut them off!" Mean Smile sneers, before slashing at Bella, who takes the hit without even really attempting to dodge. Her entire left arm and wing are severed clean off, and she falls to the ground in front of Mean Smile, who cackles as he delivers what he believes to be a finishing blow, leaving Bella as a motionless pile of goop with a mask floating in it. "Man, this thing is overpowered! I can definitely get used to this!"
Shamazon runs around the Painforest looking for what caused the alarm to go off, and eventually finds yet another intruder, this time being Crongul Beast, a wicked creature tamer who brought with him a pack of enormous, deadly, and terrifying crongul beasts, obviously named after Crongul Beast himself. Between these beasts and Mean Smile's Multima Cutter, Shamazon feels he needs to take drastic measures to ensure his own survival and the well-being of the Painforest, so he calls up Calf-Callus Conroy and Benny Hills to help deal with these threats, while he himself heads to the blacker market in search of resources.
