As foul play heads downstairs, he sees Wasted Woo barging in through the front door, and promptly confronts him before he can get any further into the building.

"Who the hell are you?" foul play demands.

"I came to check this place out for illegal activity." says Wasted Woo.

"Why don't you and I both go and check for illegal activity at the lens store, then?"

"...are there crimes going on there?"

"It's roughly the same chance of there being a crime going on there."

"Roughly the same chance of crime as the 'World Crime League'?" Wasted Woo sneers at foul play.

"Yes." foul play responds sincerely.

"Fine. I'll check it out with you, but the moment we're done there, we're coming right back here."

foul play and Wasted Woo head out the door, but foul play stops when he sees the horrifically mangled corpse of FryEmUp across the street.

"You know…I'm kinda having second thoughts about this lens store plan." foul play states.

"Way to go wasting my time, then." Wasted Woo mutters. Wasted Woo heads back inside, as foul play remains at the door, cautiously observing the corpse from a distance. Wasted Woo looks around for signs of suspicious activity, keeping a particularly watchful eye on Bermuda and his strange device. Wadley looks up from his newspaper to glance at Wasted Woo, and just before Wasted Woo can head upstairs, foul play rushes back inside.

"Mister officer sir, I just saw something really not cool, I think it might be the thing that killed that guy! If you're a cop, I think you should take murder more seriously than a suspiciously-named organization which isn't doing anything wrong right now." foul play says. Hearing this, Wasted Woo clutches his newly re-obtained Whappin' Stick tightly, and heads outside. Sure enough, just near FryEmUp's corpse is a very not cool figure, which turns what is presumably its head to look at Wasted Woo, and begins to spookily walk towards the WCL building. Wasted Woo holds up a hand as the not cool figure gets closer, and, surprisingly, the figure actually stops.

"Hold it right there. You're under arrest as a suspect of the murder of that man across the street." Wasted Woo says. "Hold still so I can cuff you."

As Wasted Woo reaches for a set of handcuffs, though, he finds that they've been liquified, and the metallic ooze slips right through his fingers and splats on the ground beneath him. He reaches for his walkie talkie to call for backup, and finds that it has met the same fate. The not cool figure is still just standing in front of him, with no clear intentions. Growing aggravated, Wasted Woo brings out Synchronicity II.

"I believe I have enough circumstantial evidence to deem you the culprit." growls Wasted Woo, as Synchronicity II manifests a new set of handcuffs around not cool's most hand-like appendages. As Wasted Woo goes to grab not cool, though, he suddenly finds himself experiencing a strong pulling sensation, as though losing his balance and stuck in a fall he can't recover from. The not cool figure watches as Wasted Woo is seemingly sucked into the ground and vanishes entirely, but upon further inspection, he's actually been dragged into the second dimension, and now only exists as a flat projection of himself on the surface of the ground, in a state where he cannot interact with the 3D world at all. The proposition that foul play encountered earlier rises back up from the sewer grate into which it had retreated, and comes face to face with not cool. Despite lacking arms, the proposition seems to be engaging in formal greeting, so the not cool figure slides its lanky limbs out of the handcuffs and takes hold of the proposition's nose, shaking it the same way one would shake a hand. The proposition seems satisfied with this response and the new kinship formed through this interaction, and it disappears into a sidewalk crack, as not cool strides directly into the WCL building, following foul play's chalky footprints. Wasted Woo pops back into the third dimension, faceplanting into the ground due to his lack of awareness of his surroundings following that encounter. He decides that maybe the WCL investigation can wait until he has some more officers with him, and sulks all the way back to the Station.

As not cool walks through the building, foul play's footprints lead it upstairs, straight to foul play's office. foul play is sitting at his desk, completely oblivious to the figure watching him through the doorway. Before not cool can do anything, though, it hears footsteps coming downstairs, and dashes through foul play's office. When foul play turns around, all he sees is a pool of melted glass in the open hole where his window to the outside previously was. As Cybr returns from his work with El Diablo, he stops at his door, a look of suspicion in his eyes. However, he doesn't find anything to be out of place with the door or within his office, so he eases up and gets back to his usual work with his own computer.

After a successful session of training Man Forrest as a protector, Arya returns her sights to the calamitous sun lingering in the sky. She has in hand the inhibitor headband that was used to keep Shazamitas sealed, and just needs to figure out a way to get the headband back onto Shazamitas. Even for her, the calamitous sun is too powerful to simply pass through, even with the most advanced protective gear she can access. The only thing capable of resisting the infernal flames at such magnitude is the material that the headband is made from, which consists of the fibers of a long-extinct plant. Not only does Arya need to get through the sun, but she also needs to get the headband back onto Shazamitas, who she presumes is still fully conscious. After a fair bit of contemplation, Arya determines that her only real option is just hurling the headband into the sun and hoping it hits its target, because even if it doesn't wrap around Shazamitas's head perfectly, just being in contact with him for long enough should bring him back into his sealed form, at which point Arya should be able to get it into its proper position with relative ease. With this in mind, Arya flings the headband into the sun, and, after it travels for some time, the headband snags on Shazamitas's shoulder. Shazamitas in his current state is too unaware of his surroundings to notice anything until the inhibitor has already begun to take effect, and soon enough, the calamitous sun has fizzled away, with Shamazon floating at the center of its former location. Arya swiftly repositions the headband to be fastened around Shamazon's head, and then deposits Shamazon back at ground level, right in front of Man Forrest.

"Shamazon, discoverer and protector of the Shamazon Painforest…" Man Forrest begins, not even giving Shamazon much time to take in his surroundings. "...I hereby ban you from the Painforest, on account of burning it to the ground. Effective immediately."

Before Shamazon can object, he is thrown out of the premises, left on the streets of Costa Brava, his duties and title stripped from him for a reason that he himself does not comprehend.
