"You're going to be late," Jakotsu said, leaning against the doorframe.

Houjou sighed in frustration, standing in front of the mirror, his tie a tangled mess. "I just can't get this right! And it's a requirement for tonight. They won't even let me on stage, and—"

"Because your talent with a violin has nothing to do with it."

"Not if I can't get this right!" he wailed, throwing his hands in the air.

Jakotsu chuckled, walking into the room until he stood behind him. "What kind of knot is it supposed to be?"

"An Eldredge."

Jakotsu snorted. "Next time, just ask, love." Purple-tipped fingers quickly made work of his tie, folding it back and forth before sliding it up to his neck. "There, see? Easy peasy."

Houjou spun around, pulling him into a quick but deep kiss. "You're a lifesaver."

"I know," he said, turning the man around and patting his ass. "Now go show off. I don't want my ticket to go to waste."

"But you hate classical music!"

Jakotsu flashed him a grin. "Guess you're hot enough to make me forget how boring it is."

Houjou slipped on his jacket and grabbed his violin case. "I wish you'd told me earlier. Where are you sitting?"

"You know when I start screaming at you from my seat," he said with a smirk, watching as a blush spilled onto Houjou's cheeks.

The musician opened the door, then turned around and stole one more kiss. "I love you. Thanks for doing my tie."

"You can reward me by wearing only that when we go to bed tonight." Jakotsu's laughter followed Houjou down the hallway, his face glowing in the artificial light.
