Long before Percy Jackson, the daughter of Zeus and Hera was born, named Selena and created as a hope and a protection for the gods in case something bad happens. Her sister Eris, jealous, threw her into the world of humans. She had to face challenges living as a "human" for thousand years. She saves Annabeth and Percy from vampires and meets Camp Half-Blood.

4. Selena is found

Song for the snakes' attack

Last night, while Selena was sleeping in front of the cave alone, two big snakes appear. One was circling Selena and the other wrapping itself around the baby in order to suffocate her. Then, something unexpected happened. Each time the animal squeezed the baby to suffocate her and break her bones, Selena grew hotter and hotter until she was completely on fire, burning one snake for good while the other fled.

In the morning:

Time was already dawning while Selena was still sleeping. But a shadow appeared on Selena's face and it was making a terrible sound that woke her. When she opened her eyes, she saw a bear ready to attack her, and then cries hard out of fear, creating an invisible explosion that sent the animal flying far away from her.

But, she didn't know that a rescue was coming that would change her life forever. Near the place, there were a king and his knights, mounted on horses loooking for an animal to hunt until they see a bear flying and hitting a tree. It stood up and growled hungrily at them, so they didn' t think twice and hit the bear with arrows Then, the king hears a voice crying loud.
