Long before Percy Jackson, the daughter of Zeus and Hera was born, named Selena and created as a hope and a protection for the gods in case something bad happens. Her sister Eris, jealous, threw her into the world of humans. She had to face challenges living as a "human" for thousand years. She saves Annabeth and Percy from vampires and meets Camp Half-Blood.

10. The Ball

* At the Gilberts' Kingdom (Britain)*

Selena was admiring herself in the mirror.

She was wearing a beautiful dress, and a Tiara in her head.

Her father opens the door:

- Selena, let's go! The guests are waiting! - King Jeremy speaks.

Selena turns to him and answers:

- I'm almost ready, father!

Jeremy stays silent watching his daughter and then says:

- You are so beautiful, sweetie!
