"Hey!" Tonks exclaimed as Moody grabbed her by the upper arm and started dragging her down the corridor.

But he said nothing, just kept pulling her along. She had to do this half sort of weird jog thing in order to keep up. It was either tbat or falling to the ground or actually getting dragged along like a sack of potatoes.

Why was he doing this? She didn't know. Seriously she didn't know this time. Normally she at least had some idea. She had gone to the wrong place or she was too slow or she was arguing with him about something. But none of those options applied here. And she didn't even recognise tbis part of the Academy she was being dragged through anyway. Was this place jist made of endless corridors or something? Had she even been to any of these rooms? She hadn't been joking when she had said that she didn't recognise any of it.

"Hey" she said, trying to get his attention.

She was starting to think that he really did think she was some sort of doll or something.

Of course, to prove her point, he didn't reply. Yep, definitely thought she was a doll.

She tried tugging away again but for an old man he really did have a strong grip. Tonks woukdnt be surprised if there were bruises tomorrow. Where did he get all this strength? He just kept goijg and going and she was literally stumbling to keep up.

Embarrassingly, he didn't let go even when they had to dodge around people in order to move. She did try to struggle, her face burning, but all that did was ensure that he held on even tighter.

Was this a test of some sort? Was this a fake kidnapping situation thay she had to get herself out of? She woukdnt put it past him, she really woukdnt. Should she scream? Struggling wasn't getting her anywhere.

Why wasn't he saying anything to her? Shouldn't he really be explaining himself or something? That would really be appreciated right about now. Ow, ow, ow, ow. Why did he have to grip so hard? She was definitely going to bruise.

This was ridiculous. Actually ridiculous. Even if it was some sort of fake kidnapping situation it was ridiculous. What sort of kidnapper grabbed you and dragged you through the building they grabbed you in? That was pretty stupid.

Just as she had made up her mind to scream, Moody came to a stop. In front of a lecture hall. Where all of her peers were milling about.

Okay, maybe she wasn't going to scream any more. That would be a bit silly, wouldn't it. Though, what was also a bit silly was the fact that Moody was still holding onto her. Did he really think that she would run off now? And risk looking like an idiot? She thought not.

What in Merlin's name did it say about her and Moody that no one even really stared at them despite the incredibly stupid way they must look right now. Nope, no gaping mouths or stunned looks. Just raised eyebrows and the odd giggle. Fantastic. Just fantastic.

With no ceremony whatsoever, Moody dragged her down the steps of the lecture hall and then pushed her into a middle row.

She actually did fall into it. Head first too. Thankfully, she caught herself before she smacked her head off anything - she had been pretty good so far at avoiding head injuries and she would really like to keep it that way. She was pretty sure Moody would too.

"What the hell is all this for?" She demanded once she regained her senses.

Moody didn't look perturbed by that at all. He just pointed towards the front.

"Lecture."

She blinked at him, looked to the front and then boy ked some more. Sure enough, there was a lecture going on. One of the ones she had to attend. Great. Just great.

Realising there was no getting out of this she looked around. Of course, it was a middle row. Actually, to be exact, it was the left-hand section of the middle row. The lecture hall seats fanned out and were split into three by walkways. Being in the middle and off to the side gave you a good view of everything going on. Though, not as much as sitting at the back would do. She wondered why he hadn't dumped her back there?

As if he read her mind, he grunted, "Don't want you sneaking out the back."

Ah. She blushed. He really did know her too well. She would have done it too, if she thought she could get away with. Which she obviously wouldn't be now. It wasn't fair to have someone like Moody as your Mentor. He knew all the tricks.

"Stay, listen, take notes and learn," he instructed, turning around as if to leave.

"Can I at least get a quill and parchment?" She asked cheekily.

Oh, she knew she could summon or conjure her own (that was surprisingly easy to do) but, hey, he was the one who dragged her here. He could deal with his poor planning.

His good planning, it turned out. Because he produced a quill, ink and parchment from inside his coat and be dumped them in front of her. She huffed and pushed them away, crossing her arms to demonstrate just how unimpressed she was with this whole arrangement.

Urgh, this was the one on Poisons and Antidotes. Which was an interesting topic when you were brewing aforementioned things. Not So much when you had to sit and listen to a three-hour lecture, three-hour lecture, on the regulations around them. Regulations! Talk about boring. And yes, she knew that it was necessary and important for her to know and blah, blah, blah. None of that made the subject any less boring.

And they were going to be tested on this stuff. Because, you know, they were supposed to be enforcing these sorts of things. Well, not directly because she was going to be an Auror but it was the sort of thing they could charge people with. And because it was to do with laws the pass mark was high. This sort of thing was neither easy to listen to nor easy to revise. It was just so mind numbingly boring. Fantastic. Just fantastic.

Not to mention the fact that she had been planning to attend the very last one- each lecture was put on between three and five times over the course of three weeks so you could choose which one to attend. They all covered the exact same thing and this way people's training didn't get too interrupted. Toy just picked a time when you had the least to do. Oh, how Tonks wished that she had actually been brewing something today. Then she wouldn't be allowed to leave the potion alone for anything never mind a stupid lecture.

The last lecture option was normally better in her opinion because at that point the lecturer was over it and just went through all the important stuff with no faff or side stories or something. Even he was fed up at that point.
