The same day, after school.
"I think Rachel Ida is an alien."
Aizawa told his co-worker, the homeroom teacher of class 1B Hero Course. Megan Morse. However, right now he isn't speaking to his fellow UA co-worker, at the moment he is talking to his higher rank agent of the DEO, M'Gann.
Aizawa told her, his theory that his current student, Rachel Ida, could be an alien.
He was sure he used his quirk on her, not once but twice. Both Ball toss, it was the main reason why he threatened her for the chance of getting expelled during the second toss.
After two tries there was no doubt that her powers aren't a quirk, but possibly part of her Alien physiology.
"So M'Gann, do you think she's an alien?" Aizawa asks again.
M'Gann sighs. "I mean it's a good theory, but because she's living with a human household in which the Ida family adopted her as their legal daughter. Her situation is out of our jurisdiction." M'Gann explained. "Look, it's not like she's a refugee or a criminal wanted by the Green Lantern Corps."
She reverted into her human form, as she snapped her fingers. "Aizawa, I know your concern, I'm as well, it is our duty as DEO agents. Plus what I recall from her student files, Ms. Ida has amnesia." She continues. "My Theory, I think she 100% believes she's 100% human, that or she's half alien from her biological parents."
"Unless she suddenly wanted for a crime, or if there was a bounty on her from space. For Now, our hands are tied. There is nothing we can do." Megan said while Aizawa understood her.
Aizawa couldn't help but admit that M'gann is right. In the end, investigating Rachel was a dead end. He knows Rachel, she isn't strange in Aizawa's life, she isn't strange as much as her two older brothers, and one of them is one of his best friends. There is nothing he could investigate towards Rachel.
Her powers are, in fact, a mystery, he was glad that she and Tenya are on the path of becoming Pro Heroes.
He sighs. "As Shota, Eraserhead, and a DEO agent, I admit I am not the World's greatest detective." Aizawa continues. "As much it bothers me that I cannot erase her powers, and she would believe that her powers are a quirk… I for once would let this slide. I was just concerned, but prepares deep down I was paranoid, that's why I brought the issue to you."
"However, you thought I can solve it, by entering her mind." Megan interrupted him. "As much it is easy for me to enter someone's mind, finding answers wouldn't be simple as you could imagine."
Megan continues to explain. "Aizawa, searching for lost memories would be an impossible task. She has amnesia, her memories would be either in two possibilities A. They're probably gone and never coming back. The trauma that causes her to lose them probably signals the brain. Making sure that they're gone for good and that she is creating new ones. B. Due to the fact she lost her memories back when she was little. I don't think she wants her memories back. The girl grew up not needing them, She seems happy and content in the present, but I don't see a reason why would she wants them back… Also, four-years-old that is not a lot to remember. I think letting this slide is a good thing."
Aizawa cannot argue with M'Gann if a telepath like her cannot unlock the lost memories of an amnesia victim. His investigation ends here.
In all honestly, Shota didn't want to investigate Rachel's true background. He knows the kid and saw her grow up during his brief visits to the Ida estate. He knows that the girl wants to be a hero just like the rest of her family.
He was being dumb and paranoid, She's a teenage girl, not some evil doer.
"Thanks, Megan, I know I sound paranoid but I was just concerned." he thanked his friend.
"Don't apologize Shota, as DEO agents it's our job to monitor if Aliens do end up on Earth, heck you just talk to an A'ashenn of M'arzz." Megan said. "Anyways, due to my higher rank I have other business to do, and I have a lecture to prepare for tomorrow."
Aizawa sighs, as he recalls the special occasion that he planned tonight, as he gets nervous and blushed. "Yeah, Megan… I um, have other plans tonight." he rubs the small box in his pockets.
As Megan was about to leave, she smiled at Aizawa. "Well, I won't be there, this is a human custom very different from M'arzz's way, I hope she says, yes."
Aizawa's blush went pinker, he does hope his girlfriends do say yes to his proposal tonight. He smiles as he leaves the room.
A few minutes later.
Since Rachel and her group left UA grounds, Rachel felt socially awkward around Midoriya and Uraraka, as Denki takes them to the pizza joint that he recommended.
She was the quiet one, just listening to their conversation about what they liked so far about UA, and what they look forward to for the next three years of their lives. Rachel didn't think about what she wanted to get during their three years at UA. Her eldest brother, Tensei didn't want to spoil the experience when they were younger.
Then she thought of the old high school cliches on her favorite sitcom, Hello Megan. The old standard cliches such as the cliques, you have the seniors, J.V Jocks, The Preps, Outakus, The Gleeks, The Foreign exchange students, The Desperate Wannabes, The Oversexual active Band Geeks, The Perverts, The people that I decided to seat with for the next three years, and lastly the worst people that I would ever meet, The Plastics.
Rachel prays that she won't deal with other plastic, like Kaito Ito, last year.
Seeing the girls, and Ochaco, they don't seem like a basic clone of Regina George.
Rachel took a look at Izuku Midoriya and Ochaco Uraraka. 'Now, really thinking about it, they seem nice… Maybe I'm the unfair one and already judge them after just meeting. Maybe it won't be a bad idea to open my walls and let them in my circle?" Rachel thought. Giving the two teens a chance.
Not knowing how to approach them, she starts to brainstorm ideas. 'Perhaps smiling is the best approach?' Rachel struggles to smile, her lips trembling from each attempt. She stopped, feeling embarrassed from her attempts to smile.
Then she felt a tapping on her shoulder to see it was her brother, as he whispers in her ear. "Like Hello, Megan…" She rolled her eyes using the sitcom's catchphrase. "I can tell what you're attempting to do, So I want to help, I'll give you a little push, leaving you alone with the two, and I'll walk along with Denki." He whispers.
As much as Rachel doesn't want to be left alone, her brother has a point, she needs to at least say something.
As Tenya joins Denki. She is now all alone with Izuku and Ochaco. Figuring out what to say to them, feeling awkward she accidentally said the wrong thing.
"Butt Bugs."
Rachel was embarrassed, she looked away from them and hoped she didn't hear her.
"What was that Ida R?" Izuku asked, as he get elbowed by Ochaco.
"Deku, remember we're all using first names, I'm Ochaco, She's Rachel, her brother is Tenya, and our new blond friend is Denki," Ochaco said. "Besides this would make things a lot less confusing… Also." Her voice turned to more of a nervous one. "I want to apologize to you Rachel if we somehow made you feel like the fifth wheel within the discussion, I notice you've been quiet during the whole time. So what's in your mind Rachel?" Ochaco gave her a kind smile.
Rachel was relieved that they didn't hear her word vomit. Though now allowed to talk, she doesn't know what to say. She was thankful for the universe for giving her more time to think, as Denki took them to their destination, as they look up at the unique architecture of a fast food restaurant in the shape of a pizza.
"Boys and Girls, let me introduce to you the best Pizza place of all Musutafu!" Denki pointed at the building, as he proudly presented. "Pizza Buddy, the number one pizza joint in town, and my recommendation."
Rachel and the others were wowed, just seeing the architecture being so unique. The teens went inside excited to see the wonders of Pizza Buddy.
Arriving at the second floor.
The five teens arrive on the second floor to see what Pizza Buddy has to offer, as music from Puffy Ami Yumi starts to play by the restaurant speaker.
They were amazed to see that the main room to eat in didn't have a roof. Due to the fact, it was during sunset and the atmosphere looked beautiful. Each dining table was a circle and they all had patio umbrellas above them.
Denki had a smug look on his face seeing the other teens were amazed at the pizza shop.
"Kami– I mean– Denki, this place is amazing." Izuku said wowing at the shop.
"Yeah, and I like they have to surround sound, I couldn't even hear the chatter and noise from outside," Ochaco said, as she start to dance a little. "I love this song, I love Puffy Ami Yumi, they are my favorite band of this month!"
Rachel too was amazed at the pizza shop, even though her face doesn't show it, she was impressed by her new friend. Pizza Buddy looked like a great place for them to hang out and be themselves, She bet, Kori and Hitoshi would love to come here.
Especially Kori, assuming they have mustard for her to drink.
Rachel found a nice empty spot, and it's right by the center of the restaurant, it's a perfect spot to watch the sunset in a 360-rotation view, of course. "Hey guys, That looks like a good spot to eat, and watch the sunset." She said.
Her brother admittedly agrees with her. "Good eye, sister. It is a good place to watch the sunset, and to." Tenya changes his tone to more of a fun manner, to act more like an average teenage boy. "-Chow down and eat our grub!" as he starts to shiggy down like he was Elvis.
Denki and Ochaco couldn't help but laugh at Tenya's attempt at being cool, Midoriya kept quiet unsure what to do at the awkwardness, Rachel rolled her eyes, the last time Rachel saw her brother act this way was when he just hit puberty in 7th grade. There was a time when Tenya had, what Hitoshi would call Junior High Syndrome.
Rachel went pale like there was a storm cloud above her head, her brother wasn't the only one who had Junior High Syndrome, She too had JHS, back at a time she had longer hair… and blond, She was a fan of the voice actor Tara Strong, and she still is a huge fan, but dying her hair to match Tara, was a huge mistake.
Not want for her blond past to be revealed she went and took the table for her and her friends to sit at.
The other teens finally settle down at the spot that Rachel picked, once they have settled a waitress not much older than them arrived to take their order. the young miss, was a young Latina woman, probably around 17 to 19 years old, she was long and wavey brunette hair, and her name tag read–
"Good evening friend to Pizza Buddy, I'll be your waitress for this evening, My name is Jessica Cruz, and it is nice to meet y–" She stopped as she stared at a certain boy at their table, literary the only blond in their group. "No freaking way, It's nice to see you again Denki."
"It's nice to see you again Jess," Denki replied as the two hugged.
The rest of his friends were confused, unsure how Denki knew the waitress.
After the two hugged Denki went to reintroduce her to his new friends. "You guys, this is an old friend of my dad's friends, back when he used to work in Las Vegas, This is Jessica Cruz, She's pretty much my cousin."
"Pretty much like cousins, pfft, don't make me laugh Denki. We're familia." Jessica said in a Spanish accent as she turns to Denki's friends, "Well met me explain amigas and amigos. Back when All Might debuted back in America. Denki's father was there ready to fight the villain, however, he didn't have the chance because it was All Might who went to fight the villain. Denki's papa, saved my Moms, and me, however, my Mama had an injury during the villain attack, so Denki's papa took my Mama to the hospital. My moms and his papa grew close, that's how they became friends."
The friend did not doubt that their story is amazing, However, the parts of the story that they didn't understand, clearly it was never mentioned, but they just had to ask.
"Denki, don't mind me asking, but what is your father do, for work?" Izuku went to ask Denki, However, Denki's emotional aura turned vermillion that only Rachel could see, clearly it meant he was embarrassed and wanted to keep a secret.
However, Jessica went to spill the beans. "Oh, you don't know?"
"Jess wait–"
"His dad is the Pro Hero Elecplant, and his mom, is the pro hero, Volta." Jessica said as everyone stayed in silence, and Denki's embarrassment starts to rise.
.
.
.
"What, your parents are Pro Heroes!" the four teens said in surprise, only shocking the people at the table to take notice. Denki's emotional aura of his embarrassment grew, it was clear to Rachel that Denki didn't want to tell his new friends about his parents.
Wanting to fix the awkwardness, Rachel thought of her quirk of making everyone on the table calm, but that was a feat that she has never done before. She believe it was something she cannot do all at once.
Maybe using her quirk isn't the solution, her quirk is wonderful, but it's certainly no shortcut. Their in public, not in one of Aizawa's dumb quirk excites like earlier today. She knows she can turn the situation around, by being Denki's friend,
Rachel reach out with both of her hands on Denki's hand, and they shared a look at each other. "Denki, it's alright, we can all feel embarrassed about our parents. Trust me, Tenya and I have the same parents, they can be embarrassing too, and in public too." Rachel said as Tenya continues for his sister.
"Yeah, Rachel was right, there was this time in Tokyo when we decided to eat out, and our mother had a fight with another mother like you can't believe how embarrassing–"
"You guys, you two don't get it!" Denki snapped.
After Denki snapped he took a moment to breathe and explain. "Fuck, I'm sorry I didn't mean to snap. You see, I'm not embarrassed at my parents, like hello, I love my parent, their the best." Denki continues to explain. "I wanted to keep a secret because I don't think I can stand out by being reminded to the people that I am Elecplant and Volta's kid."
Their waitress frowned feeling she caused of letting out Denki's secret. "Pequeño mijo, I'm so sorry Denki, I didn't know you didn't want your friends to know about your parents." Jess apologized to him.
Denki just smiled at her. "It's okay, Jess. it's not your fault."
"Si, I'm sorry, but I'll come back to take your order. Other customers are waiting for me." She glances at them. "It is very nice to meet, Denki's friends, I'll see you all in a bit. Ciao."
Denki sighs as he continues. "From what I was saying, growing up I was praised being told that I'll do great things, and become a great Hero one day, I should have felt proud, but I felt pressured growing up, like what if I cannot stand out from my parent's shadows, or I couldn't graduate. I know I'm not that bright, my old test scores at my old schools are already proof, and Rachel already knows that English is my worst subject, and let's not get started with math… Anyways back to the topic. I didn't want our class to know who my parents are because I don't want to feel pressure once again… No, wanting to be a Hero is my choice, I wasn't pressured to pick the Heroes course!"
Denki's voice starts to break from the nervousness that was unleashed once the truth came out. "Back in the entrance exam, I knew I could get in as a recommendation student, such as Todoroki and Yaoyorozu, but I chose not to. There was so much pressure in passing, and I know I wasn't a powerhouse like those two. We all know I flopped on Aizawa's test, there was nothing that I could advance by using my quirk. I cannot throw a ball bajillion meters with my electricity, heck I tried but that failed, or stripped down my shirt and created a literal bazooka and shot the ball 1500 meters. The only results I could get by stripping off my shirt, are people eying my muscles. Like my abs, my pecs, and these guns." He said flexing his biceps.
"During his quirk assessment I was scared, I didn't want to be last. No offense Izuku."
"None, taken," Izuku said rubbing the back of his head he too was embarrassed.
Denki continues. "Look, you four were amazing during the test, Ochaco's ball toss wasn't even one would call a toss, especially the fact that she only touches it and it flew to freaking space and probably headed to a doomed planet ready to explode. I can never outrun Tenya, I'm sure he'll beat me to swift a hottie off their feet, I assume Tenya knows how to flirt?"
Tenya blushed, at the thought of him, flirting.
Denki then turns his attention to Midoriya. "Izuku, you did… well… Like the whole quirk thing… I'm sorry that you broke your finger when tossing a ball… but you did… Aweeesssoommmeee."
Izuku's sweat dropped Denki tried not to make things awkward.
"Lastly, there is you, Rachel. I have seen you at your best during the Entrance Exam, one could say you're a beast, but don't think that word I would describe you the best way, I say you are a queen, and I have no doubt you're the strongest of your class alone, you're the girl who knocks down a Zero pointer robot.
Izuku and Ochaco got their eyes widened to hear what Rachel did in the Entrance exam. "Wait, what about the Zero Pointer?"
Rachel sighs. She isn't one to brag, but this felt like the only moment that she would, but that story can wait. "Denki, I understand that you feel pressured, the anxiety that your feelings about stand out from the shadows of your parent's glory. I too know what's that like too." She said giving her brother a look.
Denki notice that the siblings shared a look. "I don't understand what you guys are trying to say?" he asks.
"Yeah, is there something that you two wanted to share?" Ochaco asks.
"Well, my sister isn't wrong, and it would be out in the open sooner or later, but I guess this is a great way to come out," Tenya said, having Rachel and Tenya get ready to confess their new friends.
"Have you three ever heard of the Pro Hero, The Turbo: Ingenium?" Tenya asked, giving both Denki and Ochaco unsure faces, in which it was perfectly fine, Tensei's debut as the new Ingenium after dad's retirement wasn't flashy, to say the least, and Ingenium as a whole isn't a very popular Pro Hero. Only locals in Tokyo, Shibuya, and Hosu would know the Ingenium and his many sidekicks.
It would make sense that they won't know until Izuku broke the silence.
"Ingenium, Woah geez, like yeah I know about Ingenium."
The sentence alone from Izuku piques the interest of the Ida siblings. Rachel just hopes that Izuku isn't some stalker or worst. Tensei's very own Annie Wilkes from Stephan King's Misery.
"Of course, I know Ingenium." Izuku continues, "The hero employs 65 sidekicks at his office in Tokyo, he is also currently number sixteen, ever since the previous Ingenium retired."
'Did I just jinx it, is Midoriya my brother's own Annie Wilkes? A normal fan would normally say 'he was the speedy guy, in white armor." normal fans wouldn't give out information straight out from Wikipedia unless they're insane like Annie Wilkes.' Rachel thought worried that Izuku Midoriya is the real-life Annie Wilkes.
However, oddly enough, Tenya didn't see that Midoriya may not be a stalker. "That is oddly correct Izuku… However, I wouldn't know that agency has over 60 sidekicks." He shyly said.
"Yeah… Izuku, I know we just met and all, but I'm starting to think you might be a Hero stalker and probably a serial killer too, just like Annie Wilkes" Rachel said. Making the boy's face vermillion.
"Hey, I'm not some stalker, I'm… a fanboy… that's all." Izuku defends himself. "That's unfair Rachel, we only know each other for a couple of hours, and you thought I was the psychopath from Misery."
Rachel was surprised that Midoriya knows about Misery by Stephen King. She felt embarrassed of accusing Midoriya of believing he would be a psychopath. She thought the best way is to apologize. "I'm sorry Midoriya, for accusing you to be a psychopath." Rachel embarrassingly said.
"Maybe, you two stepped on the wrong foot. Izuku I apologize to my sister as well." Tenya said.
Izuku just nodded. "It's fine, I think Rachel and can start over?" Izuku said offering another chance at friendship with Rachel.
Rachel liked the idea, even though she thinks that Midoriya was a bit odd.
"Alright, what I'm trying to say, Ingenium is, my and Rachel's big brother." Tanya proudly said.
Three pairs of eyes sparkle like stars, as Rachel covers her ears to what's to come.
.
.
.
"YOUR BIG BROTHER, IS A PRO HERO!" Rachel was clever enough to cover her ears, as their new friends yelled in surprise to learn the small fact about their family.
"No freaking way, So your family runs the Ingenium Hero Agency!"
"Cheese and crackers, you guys are probably loaded!"
Denki stood up from his seat with a smile on his face. "That's so cool, So you two know what it's like to have Pro Heroes in the family."
Tenya just smiled back. "Yeah, pretty much. So Denki you don't have to worry about the pressures of standing out from your parent's shadows, Rachel and I know what's that like, so you're no longer alone."
"Yeah… like he said," Rachel replied in her usual emotionless tone as she notice Izuku staring at her. "Is there something you want to say, Izuku?"
He blushed, as he went to ask her a question. "R-Rachel, I want to ask, but… What is your quirk exactly? Is it some kind of telekinesis?"
That got Rachel off guard. The topic of her quirk was barely asked. I guess it would make sense, she did demonstrate her quirk earlier today.
"Sure, I'll speak and share." Rachel said. "To understand my quirk, Izuku, I'm an empath, meaning I can tell people's emotions, their feelings." giving a simple explanation.
The boy gave raised his eyebrow like he was confused. "Wait, I don't understand. I thought you are telekinetic." Izuku asks her.
Unsure how to make things clear for her new friends, perhaps a small demonstration could help. Seeing the salt and pepper shakers. "Maybe, I can explain by showing." She decided to keep the shakers to simply slide around the table, instead of making them dance around in the air like she once demonstrated her quirk when she was six years old.
At least this way, She won't be breaking the quirk law. As the salt and pepper shakers continue to slide around and they were covered with the usual glow that they saw with the softball toss. Her new friends wowed seeing the salt and pepper shakers sliding around, like they were figure skaters, as they slide around the table in the number 8 pattern.
Her new friends were amazed, but not her brother. "Rachel, stop that at once before someone sees you." She did what her big brother told her to. "Thank you. Sis please, no quirk usage due to the quirk law." Tenya said, and she just nodded.
"I don't understand, if your quirk has something to do with emotions, how come you could move objects with your quirk?" Midoriya asks.
"Well, It's not easy to explain, but please hear me out." hoping they would understand. "Well when I was little, I was a late bloomer when I got my quirk. Unlike the other kids who got their quirks around the age of four, I got my quirk around the age of six." She continues. "After learning I had a quirk, my parents took me to a quirk psychologist."
Denki raises his eyebrow. "I'm sorry, but what's a quirk psychologist."
"Me either, I don't know what that is," Ochaco asks as well.
I went to explain. "Well, a Quirk Psychologist, is like any other psychologist, however. What makes my doctor different, is that she studies psychology on how to use their quirks properly, especially if it's a mental base quirk, or an emotion base quirk, such as my quirk."
His friends start to understand, and Rachel continues her story. "My quirk psychologist. Dr. Leslie Thompkins did some tests, and she was able to figure out that my quirk is Empathy, making me an Empath. As for The telekinesis that you were wondering Midoriya, is caused by empathic powers. So no, my quirk isn't mental base, but emotion base.
After her explanation. Izuku had his hand on his chin like he is in the thought of something. "Well, that sounds very interesting. Normally the subject of quirks and analyzing how they work is something I'm good at, but apologies Rachel, but your quirk is a real puzzle. I still understand how emotions work when it comes to moving objects." Izuku said, still in thought.
She understood, that her quirk could be complicated. Not everyone would understand it right away after explaining it. "I guess it's something you'll understand later during this school year," she said.
Her brother went to speak. "I understand that we're all talking about my sister's quirk, and her quirk is one of a kind, but I have to say you three have interesting quirks as well," Tenya said making the rest smile, he turns attention first to Kaminari. "Denki, I have to say your quirk is amazing, but during the exercises, you could barely able to do anything with your quirk." He notices his words make the blond frown, Tenya shakes his head to apologize. "I don't mean to sound ill, I didn't mean to insult you at all. In all honestly, you did pretty well physically, like you reach 16th place out of 20."
Denki smiled at the compliment. "Thanks, my mom helped me train my quirk and my body, that's why I have abs." He said the last part with a smirk, the girls just rolled their eyes. "Anyways, I do wish my quirk would work the same way as my parents' quirks, but I guess mine works differently from theirs."
Izuku perks up liking the conversation about Denki's quirk. "Maybe you might need support gear. I mean true quirks could be a trait from their parents, but it doesn't mean it exactly works the same way."
Denki raises a brow, "I don't understand what you're talking about Izuku?"
Izuku went to explain things easier for Denki. "Well think about it like this." He took out a notebook and layout some pens and colored highlighters on the table, as he starts to draw the example. "Think it like this. Let's say this blue circle is your dad, and the pink one is your mom, while the yellow circle is yours." He shows the drawing to his friends, and Denki leans over to understand Izuku's explanation.
"From the Pro Hero video I watched about your dad Denki, he can generate electricity all around him. While your mom's quirk she can shoot out her electricity. A trait that your father doesn't have."
Denki starts to understand. "Oh I see what you're talking about Izuku, you're saying that there are things that my quirk can't do, but that is a rare trait that one of my parents can. I see now," he said.
"How do you're quirk work, exactly Denki?" Rachel asks.
The boy scratches the back of his head. "Well, I'm more of a human taser. Like I wish I can shoot out Electricity like mom, or the Pro Hero Black Lightning. However, I guess my quirk works a lot closer to dad's quirk, but I would love to shoot out my lighting, or make an electric sword, or maybe—" He stopped his train of thought seeing Izuku muttering and writing down something on his notebook. "Um, Izuku, what are you doing–" the boy didn't reply. "Is he, possess or something, he is freaking me out."
"Um, Deku are you alright." Ochaco tapped his shoulder, but by doing so the boy starts to float up to the sky,
The greenette finally notice as he was a few inches off the ground now. "Gah, WHY AM I FLOATING!" He starts to scream for help.
"I'm sorry!" Ochaco pressed all ten of her fingers. "Release!" As Ochaco deactivated her quirk. Gravity does its job as Izuku starts to wall at rapid speed. Rachel got ready and use her quirk to levitate the boy down gently.
"Phew, I thought I was a goner, Thank you, girls."
"You're welcome." said both girls.
"I'm sorry Deku, I accidentally tapped you with all five of my fingers, and it activated my quirk." Ochaco apologize.
"Oh is that how your quirk works? I thought it was something similar to Rachel's telekinesis." Denki said, I thought it was a mental base quirk, but it's more around touch, right?" he asks.
Ochaco smiled as she showed her friends the palm of her hand, as she point to the pads on her fingers. "You see this pad on my fingers," they looked closer at her hand. "These pads well they're part of my hands only, so no my feet don't have them. L.O.L. to truly activate them I need to completely touch the object with all five fingers, that way my quirk accidentally made Deku float like a balloon." she ended her sentence with a cheesy smile.
'Ochaco is quite lucky, her quirk sounds so simple, unlike mine. Also, she's allowed to express her emotions, just like Kori.' Rachel sighs, she truly misses Kori, and no Ochaco would ever be Kori.
I made my decision, she wants to give Ochaco a chance, and I would be her friend if she allows me to be her friend too.
"That's pretty cool, Ochaco." Rachel said, struggling to smile feeling her left side twitching.
"Oh thanks, Rachel," Ochaco said, giving an odd look to Rachel.
It became awkward after the odd encounter between both girls, Tenya went to ask Izuku a question. "By the way, Izuku, I was wondering what were you writing intensely about in your notebook?"
"Oh it's nothing big at the moment, I just thought of a good support gear for Denki could use for his quirk, to help him guide his electricity like his mom," Izuku said,
Denki smiled after hearing that Izuku could help him. "Seriously dude, I didn't think of having support gear?" He said. "But, bro what do you have in mind?" he asks.
Izuku taps his chin with his pencil. "Nothing much, just some ideas that's all, maybe the support department could help, and bring the idea to life?" Izuku said, giving the blond some hope.
"Awesome I can't wait to hear your ideas Izuku!" Denki smiled feeling happy hearing about Izuku helping Denki.
Izuku blushed as he just scratched his head from embarrassment. "Well, it's not a solid idea, yet, but maybe if we talked to support departments. They might have some idea to bring my idea to life?"
Rachel smiled seeing the two boys become friends, she would love to chuckle when Denki offered Izuku a fistbump, but Midoriya made it awkward, surely he doesn't know to fist bump, causing the sunflower blond to sweat dropped at the greenette's action.
"We can work on that," Denki said, making the greenette red like a tomato.
"Yeah. I would like that." Izuku replies.
"I guess, there is one question left." Tenya turns his attention to Izuku. "So Midor— I mean, Izuku. After learning everyone's quirks on this table, what exactly is your quirk?" From the question, Izuku became pale as a ghost. "I hope you don't mind me asking, wouldn't you? I mean you learned Denki's quirk, my sister's, Ochaco, and my quirk, in which we all saw what I can do."
'Yeah, no shit.' Denki rolls his eyes remembering his loss against Tenya.
"I was wondering if you don't mind telling us what your quirk is?"
From the question from my brother, I can see Izuku's aura turning grey, perhaps it's a sense of nervousness. Though, his face does show his nervousness, like he is sweating like a sinner in church.
"W-well I… I mean, M-my quirk… is called, S-super power. T-That's right it's called Super Power!" He nervously stuttered his words.
There was an awkward silence, between my new friends and me, The name of Izuku's quirk sounds like he recently made it up at the last second. That or he chose that name when he was four when his quirk just manifested?
"What does it do exactly?" Denki asks. "Like does make you strong, but your body can't handle it, that's why your bandage around your finger?"
Izuku blinked a couple of times. "Um… wow, that's part of it, but." However, before Izuku could be finished his explanation all of their stomachs starts to grumble.
Everyone's cheeks turned pink, embarrassed from their tummy tums.
Tenya had to break the embarrassment. "O-Oh, maybe we should get Jessica and give her our order."
They all agree and picked up the menu.
Minutes later.
"Alright Amigas, here are your XL Titans Pizza, your can sodas, orange juice, sweet potato curly fries with spicy cheese sauce on the side. As they in Paris, Bon Appetit."
The friends thanked Jessica for giving them their food. The five teens drool over the pizza they chose. There was a small argument about picking a pizza.
Izuku wanted Pineapple, but the others didn't want pineapple.
There was a small discussion about cheese, Rachel wanted mozzarella, while Denki wanted orange cheddar. They end up going with a mix of both, which was extra payment.
Tenya wanted to place veggies to have a healthy pizza, but they all went with little veggies like banana peppers and white onions.
They all ended up choosing the pizza called, Titans. It's an American theme pizza, there were hamburger pieces.
"Woah, this pizza looks so good," Ochaco said with sparkles in her eyes.
"I know, let's dig in!" Denki said as they all took a piece of pizza.
I know today might be one would call rocky, and my new friends Izuku and Ochaco are new to me, and I don't know them at all. But it's been only one day.
This could be the start of a wonderful friendship.
I'm back.
