The Brave and the Bold
The rest of the class and I finally reached the observation room. Oddly enough I didn't picture UA having an observation room. Then again this could be the same room they use to watch over the hundreds of applicants for the Hero Course entrance exam.
The room is very roomy, it has a huge computer monitor, or perhaps it could have been a flat screen tv?
It felt like being in one of those spy shows, or the old original Power Rangers TV show. I'm not a hardcore fan of the Power Rangers, but Tenya used to as a kid, and the room is giving me that vibe.
There are no chairs or desks, so I guess standing is the only option, I was hoping to meditate before my match with Denki against Asui and Tokoyami, but I guess I could watch the match and learn something from it.
We paid attention to All Might as he spoke. "Alright, welcome to the Observation room. Young Padawans over here is the room in which we're going to watch your classmates in battle." All Might.
'Oh, I see, so this is how we're going to be graded.' I thought.
All Might continues. "Team D is taking the role of villains for this first match. As you can all recall that the Villain groups within this battle trial have a 10-minute head start to make their plan. The building that their headed to is building A, which this building only has 6 floors and three rooms. The fake nuke is in every building, they can put the nuke on whichever floor and room they would like, they can even put it on the rooftop, or the lobby floor if they wish." All Might said. "Now, can anyone recall how the villain team can win this exercise?
Of course, I remember how both teams can win, but after the scary squealing sound that I heard from my partner, it meant that he didn't listen to All Might's instructions. Though, before I can answer All Might's question. It was the guy with red and white hair who answered All Might.
"Of course sir." the peppermint boy said. "For the villain team to win, there are several ways. There are only 15 minutes of battle time If the heroes were captured with the capture tape. The Heroes would automatically lose the match. The other way for the villain team to win is to distract the Hero team until the time ends, which would be an automatic fail for the Hero team. Lastly, I guess if both Hero and villain teams were wreckless, and accidentally destroyed the fake nuke, I think both teams would lose, or that's a victory for the villain team?"
He did put out a good point, I raise my hand to ask All Might. "Sir, he has a point, what would happen if both teams accidentally destroyed the fake nuke?" I asked.
The Hero just chuckled. "That's a good question, Young Rachel. If the nuke was destroyed by either the Hero team or the Villain team. It would be an automatic fail from both teams, meaning both teams would get an F. " All Might answered her question. "Now, can someone else answer me on how the Hero team could win the exercise?"
I hope Denki would listen to this one, we're both in the Hero Team. I don't know if we pass the exercise without him.
It was Tokoyami who answered All Might's question. "For the Hero team to win the battle trial. Is quite similar to the villain team, the only main difference is the Hero team has to touch the fake nuke. Even if both villains are captured, they must touch the fake nuke before the time runs out." Tokoyami explained.
Mandatory alright. Something like showboating can happen after, assuming Denki likes to showboat. I can imagine Denki showboating by pounding his chest like freakin Tarzan after victory.
The red-headed guy raises his hand. "So, when are we going to watch the match."
He has a point. I wonder how Tenya would do in action. He is playing the role of villain. I guess it would ill him to the core to play a villain, but he has to play the part. If I was in his shoes I would act like, Pennywise the clown. Though I don't think I would have the same charisma and energy as Bill Skarsgård the actor who played Pennywise in the newly rebooted It movies.
I was in the villain role, I would go Shakespearean, or go full-on Carrie White like I was covered in pig blood and go on a telekinesis rampage.
Alright enough, I'm being a full-on bookworm fangirl. Denki and I have to make a plan to win the exercises. I wish Tenya and everyone else good luck, and I hope the exercises won't go too overboard.
All Might turn on the monitor, showing that the villain team has already entered the building, and they place the bomb on the fourth floor, third room. There are two minutes left before The Hero team can enter the room.
We were watching the screen, oddly enough there were four cameras following each team member, perhaps a mini drone following them, I don't know, I guess it's something I'll find out later. Ochaco and Izuku are reading some kind of paper, perhaps some sheet of instructions to understand the exercise a little bit more. The Villain team, I can see Tenya's aura he seems nervous. I would be nervous too, this training exercise is a fake battle, almost like an improv.
Just like Improv, you do the first thing that comes to mind, there is no script, it is more instinct in a way.
"Umm, All Might Is there audio, I can't hear what are they saying?" Denki asks, and he was right from the video, the team members were having a conversation, and yet we couldn't hear them.
All Might was double-checking the computer, he even push some buttons. I saw his emotional aura, it turned vermillion. He was embarrassed. "Sorry, students. It seems like the audio system needs some repairs. It said the Audio is on, but it seems like it's broken."
We sweat dropped towards the conclusion of the audio. Like there is no fixing the situation, The whole experience of watching your classmates battling one another, became a silent movie, with color this time.
I got my eyes wide to see that the Hero team decided to enter through the window of the second floor. But wait where did Bakugo go? Did he leave my brother behind?
"Geez, I guess Bakugo wants a victory for this exam uh," Denki asks.
"Well, Thank X'hal we're not going to get expelled, unlike with Mr. Aizawa's exercise," I replied.
"Yeah— Wait, who's X'hal?" Denki asks.
'I don't think, it's my right to explain, Kori's Tamaranian deity.' I thought.
While Bakugo is running like hell, I can see my brother… doing god knows what? Without the audio, it's hard to tell what he is saying under the helmet.
"Hey Rachel, is your brother doing the robot?" I turned around to see it was, um, Ashido who asks me.
"No, he isn't dancing. He does the robot arms quite often." I answered Ashido's question.
"Pfft, it's quite funny, but hey is your brother single or what?"
Ashido just had to ask the number one question that no one should ever ask a sibling if their brother is dating someone. True, he dated Kori, for three months. But this is hella different, what would I even say?
"Look, a sneak attack!"
There were a couple of gasps, As I turned around to the screen to see Bakugo attacking Izuku and Ochaco with his quirk. Got my eyes widened, I was surprised that Bakugo would attack them with his explosion quirk. Like, did he even think this through, explosion aren't a toy, they're very dangerous.
Like what the fuck! I turned my attention to the teacher. "All Might, should Bakugo's quirk be restricted during the whole battle trail? Those are real explosions sir, my friends can get hurt!"
All Might just smile at me "Now, now Young Rachel. That wouldn't be fair for Young Bakugo now, fighting quirkless would make the young man at a disadvantage, especially his opponents to have powerful quirks of their own."
True, Izuku and Ochaco have powerful quirks of their own, but Izuku would mostly go through this whole exercise quirkless If I was him. Due to his quirk would break his bones for muscle tissue? I don't know if Ochaco could fight Bakugo, in a quirk verse quirk battle all by herself. Though there is one other suggestion. "Why not make the whole exercise quirkless for all the battles? It would prevent any injuries. I bet Recover Girl has a full schedule." I tried to convince All Might, but my efforts weren't budging.
"Now, Young Rachel. What could you all possibly learn about the limits of your quirks, If I made this whole exercise into a quirkless battle training? The whole point is to see how truly dangerous our quirks are, and by doing this battle training. You don't need to worry now young Miss, because I am here."
Bullshit! You're full of crap All Might. I swear if my friends get injured, I am so reporting you to the principal.

"Woah, what the hell was that noise?" the red-headed guy asks.
I turned around, and I notice that one of the wallpaper in the room got ripped. Shit, I cause that, I didn't even notice I was angry.
I felt a comforting hand, and I saw it was Denki. "Hey don't worry Rachel, and look I think Izuku can handle Bakugo."
"What?" I turned around at the right moment, just to see Izuku just judo throw Bakugo, and pieces of his bunny hoodie were torn off.
"Woah, too bad there aren't any audio, I have no clue what Midoriya is even saying to Bakugo?" The tall girl asked, and geez I should learn everyone's names by now.
"I think Midoriya was trying to say to Bakugo was, I fucked with five chicks, and three dudes before coming to UA, including your mom. You know the usual." I rolled my eyes at the tiny squirt. I was just glad Jiro attacked him with her quirk.
"How the fuck was that usual, I don't even think Izuku lost his virginity–"
"Denki, if you continue talking about our friend, having sex with someone's mom. I would do the same thing to you, just like how Jiro did to the tiny squirt. M'kay." I said to him.
"Geez, I just joking Rachel," Denki said backing off the discussion about sex.
We continue to watch, and we all say the Ochaco split up, clearly going to find the bomb, and as for my brother. He seems like he is doing some cleanup. As for Izuku, he decided to run as well.
He did the right move If Izuku is not planning to use his quirk during the exercise. He better just run and hide.
What I don't understand, Is Bakugo.
In his first attack, He had no hesitation to hurt Izuku, Like at all. This is Battle training, the word TRAINING can be highlighted and put in bold, and he would still ignore that this is not a real fight. '
Bakugo and Tenya are playing the role of villains, and the objective is to tie them up, but Bakugo is making the whole training exercise into Mortal Kombat. This is very different from my training with my brother, or my friends Kori and Hitoshi. We didn't even try to hurt or injure each other because the whole point of training, is to learn, not to draw out blood.
I wish Kori was here If Bakugo tries to have a Mortal Kombat against Kori, with their quirks. His explosions would be nothing, compare to Kori's star bolts.
While Izuku is running away from Bakugo, it's better to check on my Brother and how is he handling Ochaco. From watching the screen, Ochaco finally found the fake nuke, and she is looking at my brother.
"Wait… Is she checking out my brother?" I whisper only for Denki to hear.
He blinked a couple of times before answering. "Well, I don't think so, but real talk," Denki said. "I understand his your brother and all, but would it be the end of the world if those two end up dating?"
Geez, Denki just asked me the same question that Tensei asked me a few months back when I learned that Tenya asked Kori, a month after Yumi Ono's suicide attempt. Yeah, the Earth didn't end when they started dating, or when Kori told me she took my brother's first kiss.
Now with there is a possible new girl in my brother's life. It's not the end of the world if they decided to date. What Tenya and Kori had, was just a fling that only lasted three months. They're teenagers and the reason why they broke up is that they weren't serious about their relationship. What Tenya and Kori had wasn't a serious grown-up relationship. There is a chance that Tenya and Ochaco could even have a fling as well.
Denki Pov.
"I mean if they like each other. I don't mind. It's not the end of the world, Tenya dated my best friend last year." Rachel said.
I raised an eyebrow. "Uh, I didn't know Tenya had a girlfriend before?"
"Well, it's not my story to tell, you can ask my brother some other time," Rachel said as we paid attention to the screen. We were surprised to see that tension between Ochaco and Tenya had risen since Tenya finally spotted Ochaco. "It seems things are getting too spicy for the pepper."
"Rachel is right." we turned our attention too. Ya-yaoh, geez how do you say her name? The tall girl with the big boobs. "Uraraka isn't taking the training exercise seriously, true, this is not a real crisis, but if it was, Uraraka would be a sitting duck. Who to say Tenya role was henchman with a gun? The moment that Tenya spotted Uraraka he could aim his gun and fire at her. Uraraka would have been dead."
"Yaoyarozu is right." We all turned to All Might. "Uraraka played this training exercise as a game, rather take it seriously. If Young Tenya was, in fact, a professional marksman, the moment that a marksman spotted their target, they would take the shot, and young Uraraka would be dead."
After listening to the two, they have a point. I should take this training exercise like my life is in danger, If Asui and Tokoyami has dangerous guns and they spotted me, I would be a dead possum.
We continue to watch again, The peppermint boy spoke. "Uraraka is at a disadvantage, Iida T. clean up the room, there is nothing that Uraraka could use for her quirk."
"Young Todoroki has a point. It seems like we're going to a battle between man and woman." All Might explained.
I have no clue who would win, I'm not a martial artist myself. Mom and Dad would rely on their quirks more, so I didn't learn self-defense. There is no telling with those two who know how to fight.
Though there is one way to know if Tenya knows any self-defense, and there is only one person I can ask, as I tapped her shoulder. "Rachel, does your brother know any self-defense?" I ask my partner.
She just nodded. "Yes, he does know, the fighting style has been passed down to many Generations of the Iida family, it's called Shoot Style," Rachel said. "It's a kicking base fighting style, using momentum and speed to boost our attacks. However, I tried shoot style before, but my body isn't built for it, even though my leg is amazing. It's the reason why Tenya keeps calling me, Lady Legasus."
"Thanks for letting me know, Rachel." I thanked you. Their fight could end anyway, I guess?
I was looking at the other monitor. Bakugo is very angry.
On what?!
What could he be so angry at the moment? Like come on, I get that there are so many things in the world to be angry at, and I can make a list If I want to.
Don't tell me you're still pissed at Midoriya since yesterday, like geez, I get you two knew each other before UA, but come on grow up.
"Hey look, it seems like Bakugo has found Midoriya." I looked at the other monitor that Kirishima pointed at, and he was right he did find Izuku.
"Geez, what now?" Jiro asks with a concerned tone in her voice.
"I don't know, ribbit. Maybe they would brawl things out." Asui suggested.
"Alright, they're going to duke it out like men, this is so manly," Kirishima said, pumped up as ever.
"No, I don't think Bakugo would settle this like men… I think he is here to finish things off." Rachel said. I looked at her eyes, it was different from her chill calm face, Rachel's eyes were open wide like she was scared of what was to come.
I looked directly in the direction where she was looking, and see it was just Bakugo.
Is there something that only she can see, and I can not, is this part of her Empathic quirk?
Now looking closely, Bakugo doesn't look like his messy around as he pointed his gauntlet towards Izuku. Like what is he planning to do?
"All Might, you have to stop this match!"
Everyone and I got startled by Rachel's shouting demands at the Number One Hero. This was the very first time I saw Rachel this angry before.
Buzz, Rip, Buzz.
All of a sudden the lights in the room were blinking out of control, the wallpaper are torn apart, and even the picture on the monitor starts to change. I have no clue what was going on, but it felt haunted.
"Now, Young Rachel. You have to understand–
"Bullshit! Midoriya isn't just going to be hurt, but he will die. If Bakugo let out his explosion!" Rachel yelled at All Might.
The buzzing and ripping sounds continue, but All Might ignore it all. "Young Lady, that is no way to speak to your teache–"
"You're not even listening to me!" Rachel roared in anger, We heard some of the light bulbs breaking, the monitors shaking, and even one of them exploded.
Is this her quirk, is this why she seems emotionless all the time?
I need to help her she's my friend.
Though before I could help my friend, something was different about the computer system. There was audio, and it was working.
Now we all can hear Bakugo's voice.
I'm guessing you know this from all your stalking, but… The sweat glands on my palms secrete… something like nitroglycerin. That's how I make my explosions, and now my gauntlets are full of sweat, you know what that means right, Deku!
More sweat means bigger explosions!
We're all shocked to hear Bakugo's words. "Is Bakugo truly going to hurt Izuku!" I said, scared for my friend. "All Might, You have to stop this match!"
"Kaminari is right, All Might sir, Bakugo makes things way too far, this is just madness!" The tall girl agreed with me. Then more and more students went and asks All Might the same thing, to end their match.
"Come on All Might, End the match!"
"This match got out of hand!"
"Veuillez arrêter le match, monsieur All Might!"
Even with our cries and plea, All Might continued the match. "Bakugo, I forbid you to from using your gauntlet!"
He won't get hurt if he dodges it!
'Bakugo, No!' I screamed internally, I was scared for my friend. Until an alarm went off. At first, I thought it was the fire alarm, or real villains have invaded the school. No, it wasn't any of those alarms, especially when the alarm spoke.
This Battle training has been terminated. Izuku Midoriya, Katsuki Bakugo, Ochaco Uraraka, and Tenya Iida please head to the observation room, admittedly.
I was relieved that their match was canceled. I turn my attention to the teacher. "All Might, thank you for ending the match, I thought Izuku was done for," I said to him.
However, the Hero gave me a confused look. "I wasn't the one who ended their match," he said.
"If not you, who did?" I ask in concern.
"I did."
We turn to the voice and see it was Rachel who ended the match. "I don't have any regrets of doing it, and being honest, I would do it again," she said, now staring at All Might like her eyes were daggers.
I was surprised that It was Rachel who ended the match, then again. This was the first time I ever saw her angry. I should ask her later if she was the cause for the shake, rattle, and roll that happened earlier in the room.
Though before I could approach my friend. All Might stood in front of her. I gulped I had never seen All Might look so upset before. This is the Hero who always fights for justice with a smile after all. Seeing him lose that smile of his, was scary a bit, like staring at a final boss in a video game. All Might is like Shao Kahn from Mortal Kombat, and it looks like he is about to, Finish Rachel.
"Finish Her!" I'm starting to get very annoyed at that little gremlin. Seriously, read the room, is already bad enough as it is.
"Young Rachel, could you explain yourself, young lady?" he asks with a strong stern voice.
"Sure, It's simple, I did your job," Rachel said.
'Oh shit, I can't believe Rachel just said that. To All Might of all people. She burned All Might.' I thought surprised at the outcome.
"Pardon me?" All Might asks.
Rachel just sighs. "How much do I need to explain? You All Might, your job as an Educator is to make sure no one in your class doesn't get hurt, that's including everyone, not just Midoriya. What I don't understand, is that you All Might didn't even decide to end the match, after seeing that Bakugo has no intention of listening to an order that you said, about his gauntlet. You didn't end the match yourself, but I had to be the one to do so." Rachel said.
"Y-You have no right to end the match." All Might said trying to return to his bravado.
'Shit, did he just stutter?' I wonder if I was hearing things wrong.
"Oh I know, I have no right to end the match, but I have to do it because you refuse to do so." She gestures to the whole class. "We were crying our asses off to stop the match, and yet you didn't listen." The volume of her voice got louder. "Why is that All Might, why keep the match going? Did you want someone to get hurt?!"
"No, I don't want anyone to get hurt?!" She asked him.
"Is nothing like that Young Rachel, and please let me explain." All Might said as he took a deep breath. "You are right, I should have listened to you all, and I should have stopped the match myself, but I didn't and I'm ashamed."
That was a word that I didn't expect from All Might, the number one Pro Hero, as I continue to listen. "This might be hard to believe, but the truth is, I never taught before." Woah that was a shocker. "Look, I understand that you respect me so much for everything I have done, but I am not perfect. I can beat villains, save lives, and still have time to pick up my laundry at the dry cleaners… but, I'm only human too." he showed us a tiny little book that read. 'Teaching for Dummies'. As All Might went on to explain more. "I might be the Number one Pro Hero, and the symbol of peace, but at this rate. I wouldn't win teacher of the year… Assuming Japan as a reward show that America has… Unless it's only available in America— That's not the point, the point is. I apologize to you all. For now, Izuku Midoriya, Ochaco Uraraka, Katsuki Bakugo, and Tenya Iida would have an automatic fail towards this battle trail. I would assign them a 1000-word essay about the battle exercise." He stops Like the hero is in thought. "Shit, that would not make sense at all. How can they submit a 1000-word essay about how dangerous their quirk is?"
"Umm All Might, you do know we can hear you muttering." I pointed out to All Might, as his skin turns pale as a ghost.
All Might nervously hum, as he pointed at me. "Denki Kaminari! I give you Ten thousand points to Hufflepuff!" The hero said in a panic.
'Ten thousand points to Hufflepuff? Wait, a bloody minute. That's from the Harry Potter movies, also why would I be a Hufflepuff, I should have been a Gryffindor, at least!' I thought to myself.
"Hey what's going on in here."
I turned my attention to the familiar voice that just entered the observation room, and notice it was Izuku.
"Woah, what is the tension in the room, it feels like someone just died in here," Ochaco asks as she too entered the room. Behind her, it was Tenya having his hand rise.
"Excuse me All Might, but was there a reason to stop our match," Tenya asks.
'Like dude, if only you knew what your sister did, to save Izuku's ass.' I thought. As I got my eyes widened to see the guy right behind Tenya. Looking angry than before. Bakugo.
"What the fucking hell All Might, why stop the match! Uh?!"
The lights once again start to blink, and the computer monitors were starting to static. I'm starting to see this isn't the work of a poltergeist, but it was coming from my friend, Rachel.
I notice that she is angry, and I don't think is a good idea to let out her anger at this time. It's already awkward enough. So I went to talk to her. "Rachel, wait."
"Denki, Someone has to teach Bakugo," she said.
"I know, and I agree with you. Though, as much he needs to be told a lesson, maybe give this chance to All Might." I notice her nostril was flaring she didn't like what I said. "I know that All Might isn't great at his job, but this is an opportunity for him to be a good teacher. So just relax. Alright, just breathe, easy peasy, lemon squeezy." I'm glad that I was calming her down about how much Bakugo deserves to be scolded. It would happen, any time now.
There was a weird tension within the room, no one had the guts to scold Bakugo. The boy can be loud and extreme, but I don't think there is anything to worry about. I was glad it was All Might who went to explain why their match was canceled. He reminded everyone that this is a training exercise not a battle to the death. There was no need to go to the extremes, or the need to go Plus Ultra.
Now that All Might calmed the class he called out the next match, Shoto Todoroki, and Mezo Shoji vs Toru Hakegure and Mashiro Ojiro.
I wonder how their match is going to end, I hope none of them would go berserk, just like Bakugo was.
I hope things would end up okay.
A few minutes later.
Tenya's pov
I am disappointed at the outcome, that Midoriya, Ochaco, Bakugo, and I failed our exercise.
No thanks to Bakugo… Then again, because he is my partner so some of the blame went to me as well. I could have prevented Bakugo to have a mortal combat match with Izuku. The outcome would be different. Plus Bakugo could have a different dance partner to fight against, that being Ochaco.
Ugh. I guess there is no point arguing about mistakes and what I could have done to make things better. It's foolish to think we could redo our battle trail.
Perhaps watching others' successes and failures would help us learn. It sounds wacky, but we have to learn something from the whole class.
I looked at my sister and her partner Denki, I wonder who would they succeed in triumph for their Battle trial.
As much as I want to watch their battle trial, they have to wait, the next battle trial is up next. It seems it would be Todoroki and Shoji are the Heroes, while Hakegure and Ojiro are the villains. I wonder how this battle trail would end, I don't recall what their quirks are. The villain team has very obvious mutant-type quirks. Ojiro has that mighty tail of his, and Hakegure is invisible, though I wonder why her gloves and boots aren't invisible. Her full-body suit shows that she's invisible.
Shoji, well there is not a lot to say about this quirk unless he is some kind of martial artist. Perhaps his natural strength is the key to their victory?
Now there was Todoroki. One of the recommended students. I recall Tensei was recommending Rachel and me, for the recommendation exam, months ago. We both denied it. Rachel didn't want special treatment, and I wanted to earn my spot.
Though before I denied Tensei's offer I did read the competition who RSVP for the recommendation exam, and there was his file.
Shoto Todoroki. Just my family and Denki's parents. Todoroki is a legacy child, the son of the Number 2 ranked Pro Hero Endeavor.
I have no doubt who would win this battle trial.
Their match started, It seems that Ojiro plans to guard the fake nuke, while Hakegure took off her gloves and boots.
Strange, it felt cold all of a sudden in the observation room, It was April, and the winter season ended. It shouldn't be this cold.
"Breh, It's so cold," Ochaco said shivering from this coolness.
"I know, what you mean, I feel cold too." said my sister as she is shivering.
'This isn't right, why does it feel cold all of a sudden.' I thought.
"Everybody. Look at the monitor, look what Todoroki did!"
I went to look at the monitor that Ashido pointed at, and my jaw drop to see that the whole build is covered in ice.
My whole classmates were shocked at this feat of power that Todoroki created, it seems there are bigger fishes that are part of class 1A, besides Bakugo, Izuku, and my sister.
"Holy shit and that took only seconds for Todoroki to cover the whole building in ice." Sero whistles amazed at this feat.
"Yeah, no kidding. I wouldn't want to piss off Todoroki, he can turn me into a popsicle." Jiro said. Still shivering at the temperature of the room.
Somewhere in the room, Katsuki Bakugo was shocked too, having his jaw dropped and eyes widened as a result.
'Amazing, Hakegure and Ojiro couldn't even fight back.' I thought as Todorki touched the fake nuke.
Ochaco's Pov
Since the victory of Todoroki and Shoji went well. Todoroki was given the M.V.P score by All Might himself, and ever since then, the other matches went.
The third battle trial with Yaoyarozu and Mineta as the villains were very rocky, to say the least. Yaoyarozu her mind was on the task at hand, while Mineta on the other hand. Wasn't even helping at all. He rather sees what's under Yaoyarozu's outfit instead of helping her set a trap for the Hero team.
That is why they failed and lost, against the hero team of Kirishima and Sero. While Yaoyarozu was busy barricading the door, and Mineta was busy being a pervert, They forgot to check the windows of the room.
Kirishima and Sero simply entered the room silently, and quickly touch the bomb.
I guess they got the idea from watching Deku and me when we entered Building A. We too entered the building by using the window. All Might gave the two boys, A+ for not even using their quirk to succeed on the battle trail. Though Sero got the M.V.P marked, because it was his idea to enter by the window, he said something about reading it from a comic book about a man who dresses up as a spider.
The fourth Match between Jiro and Sato as the Heroes, against Ashido and Aoyama, went terribly wrong.
To the point that All Might had to cancel their battle trial.
It all happened when both teams ended up fighting each other, once the Hero team found the villain team with the bomb.
The hero team was at a huge disadvantage because both Ashido and Aoyama both have projectiles that they could use to throw at their opponents.
One of Ashido's acid attacks landed on Sato's hand, and his hand starts to burn up. I think Ashido made her acid too dangerous for exercise.
I'm sure that Ashido didn't mean it, but it didn't excuse the fact that the three of them has to rush Sato to Recovery Girl. or worst the hospital.
"X-Hal! Twice in one day, a battle trial has to be canceled." Rachel said. "It was Sato who got hurt."
"Do you think, Sato is going to be okay?"
"Okay? I don't even know if Sato's hand would even survive, at the least Ashido now knows the limit of her quirk. Right, All Might?" Rachel said, making the hero sweat like a sinner in church.
I have no clue if she's serious or sarcastic.
All Might nervously coughed as he spoke. "Okay… um, I understand that you're all concerned for your classmate Rikido Sato, Recover Girl is doing her best… to save the young lad's hand."
'Doing her best, is Sato losing a hand?! Is that serious?!' I thought afraid for my classmate.
"However, the class has to go on. Now the last battle trail." All Might said. "Villain Team, Fumikage Tokoyami, and Tsuyu Asui, You have a 10-minute head start to prepare, please enter Building B."
There was still a weird tension within the room. When All Might mentioned Sato's injury, Asui and Tokoyami went ahead to get ready for the upcoming battle trial. While we wait. I went to talk to Deku and Tenya.
Rachel and Denki have to get ready, it makes sense to just talk to two boys. "H-hey guys."
They turned to me. "Did you just stutter?" Tenya asks.
"Oh, I did? I didn't notice, hahaha." I nervously laughed. What is wrong with me? "Anyways, what rocks your boat?"
After I said that, I felt dumb, especially the confused look that they gave me.
"Umm, I think what Ochaco is trying to say… You know what. No offense but I have no clue what you're trying to say Ochaco." Izuku said. Maybe let's talk about the upcoming match?"
"Certainly, I know my sister is going to fight in the next battle trail, but I want to sound fair and not take sides. Which team do you think is going to win? The team with my sister, and Denki, Or the team of Asui and Tokoyami."
"Interesting, may I join the conversation?"
We turned around to see, our peppermint-haired classmate. Todoroki. "Am I curious too, who do you guys think would win?" he asks.
"Sure, Todoroki the more the merrier," Tenya said. "So what's on you're mind?"
Todoroki just shrugs. "Nothing much, Kaminari has an electricity quirk, and Asui has a very clear mutation quirk, though her partner is Tokoyami. A quirk like his is sure to win… Though as for your sister, Iida T., I have no clue what your sister's quirk is, and I don't know if she could stand Tokoyami's quirk?"
Todoroki has a point.
After our trip to Pizza Buddy yesterday. Rachel's quirk is still an enigma to me. When I went to face Tenya during our Battle trial, he eliminate all objects that I could have used to fight him, such as rubble. He knew my quirk require me to touch things with all five fingers. That's how I accidentally made Izuku float yesterday, and I told my friends how my quirk works. For Rachel, it seems she would need projectiles to fight, to use her telekineses, maybe we have the same weakness. Like we can make things float depending on the weight of the object. I know my quirk could never make something like the Zero Pointer float upright to space as I did with the softball. Like forget stomachaches, I would end up with diarrhea if I decided to do that.
"I wouldn't underestimate my sister Todoroki. Sure, she isn't like you, or me. If you watch her in action. I promise you, you'll be in a surprise." Tenya said as he look at the corner. "It seems like The Hero Team just left and they have five minutes to get ready before their battle trial starts."
Todoriki sighs. "If you say so, I would be patient to see what your sister can do?" he said as we stare at the monitors.
"I should get my notebook ready, I wonder who would win," Izuku said. Rachel and Denki have awesome quirks, but can they stand a chance against Tokoyami's quirk?"
Midoriya's question echoes around the room. Reaching the ears of Bakugo, he pays attention to the upcoming fight.
Rachel Pov.
Denki and I found ourselves outside Building B. since Building A. was covered in Todoroki's ice, we have to do most of the battle trials in Building B, which it's more of a six-floor apartment building. That seems abandoned, there were balconies and a fire escape ladder by the side of the building.
This is a good thing for Denki and me. We could use it to enter the building, Just like how Kirishima and Sero used to enter during their battle trial against Yaoyarozu and Mineta.
"Denki, I have a plan of entry."
"Really? What's your plan?" he asks.
"We're going to use the fire escape, similar to what Kirishima and Sero did during their battle trial," I said to him.
"Oh cool, that would be a quick victory for us, let's do it!" He cheered.
"Wait," I asked him. "Let's think about this more, alright. It's just the second day of school, and we don't really know Asui and Tokoyami that well. There is a chance they're smart enough to prevent the mistake that Yaoyarozu and Mineta did."
His smile has vanished, perhaps realizing that we could still lose this exercise. "You're right, Kirishima and Sero only won because Mineta was sneaking a peek of Yaoyarozu's exposed parts from her Hero Costume, and I don't think Tokoyami is perverted to check out Asui's ass. Like seriously her costume is hugging her ass tight." he stopped as he notice I was eyeing him like my eyes were daggers. He gulped. "Should stop talking about Asui's butt, you're looking at me like you're ready to smack me with your books. Please, Rachel, have mercy." He begs.
I rolled my eyes, as I continued. "Look, we need to figure out a plan of attack, in case we have to fight," I said.
He blinked. "You're right." He said he is thinking of a plan. "I'm not super smart in topics like this, but watching Izuku and Bakugo fight from earlier. I don't think One-on-One is a good strategy, and after watching Jiro and Sato fight Ashido and Aoyama. I don't think fighting two-on-two is a good idea also."
"That leaves us with the obvious battle strategy. By having the odd in our favor, two against one." I said. "I know it may sound unheroic, but after the fights that we've seen, it seems logical to say the least."
He nodded. "So teamwork could be the solution to our victory," Denki said understanding the plan. 'What's cool. We don't have to act like Bakugo and make the whole training exercise into Mortal Kombat. We could tie up both of them with the capture tape, and when that's done we need to touch the bomb and win."
I smiled at him. "Exactly, we have our game plan to victory."
"Yes, we're all going to get laid!"
"What!" I asked him, I wasn't sure what he said.
Hero Team, preparation time has ended. The last Battle Trial has started.
"Come on Let's do this!" Denki cheered.
'I think Denki, just avoided my question… anyways, let's head to victory, Denki!' I thought to myself, as we get ready to battle.
The last battle trial starts.
10 minutes remaining.
As we climb up the fire escape. Denki and I completed step one, and now to complete step two. We have to have to find a fair entrance to use. We have chosen the third floor. It would be a good split to find the fake nuke. There is a chance it could be around upstairs are downstairs. We play the game of chance, We have no time to check both floors in under ten minutes, it would be a waste of time and energy. I just hope luck is on our side.
We agreed that splitting up isn't a good idea, we didn't want to make the same mistakes as Team A. and Team D. during their battle trial. If our plan having two against-one fights against either Asui or Tokoyami that would be awesome for both of us. Including not making the same mistake that Bakugo make, this is battle training, and the best solution is to capture one of them with capture tape.
If things go well, we would win and have a passing grade.
"Hey, Rachel?"
I turned to see my partner. "What's up Denki?" I asked him.
"I just wondered, back at the observation room. When we saw Sato's hand being injured, why didn't you try healing his hand? Like how you healed my arm, back in the Entrance Exam?" Denki asks.
He has a good point, he deserves an explanation. "Oh that, I'm not sure to say this Denki, is because when I healed you back in the entrance exam. I didn't know what I was doing?" I said, having him raise a brow. "It's the truth, When I heard that Recovery Girl was busy healing someone in a different testing site, you needed to be healed right away."
"So, you just took a leap of faith, and healed me?"
"Not exactly." Then I recall the first time that I healed someone. "Back in junior high, I felt like chicken shit when I witness my friend, Yumi Ono getting bullied." He took a pregnant pause. He didn't expect to hear that. "I witness that her bully Kaito Ito kicked her on the cheek. When I saw it, I went to rush and help Yumi… You don't need to know the full story, just know that I helped her, I notice my hand was glowing on her wounded cheek, and I notice her wound is gone. It turns out I can heal people with my quirk." I finished explaining my story. I have to admit the story does sound like a fairy tale, but it's the truth.
"Geez, that sounds awful, well had a bully at some point in our lives. I hope your friends are fine." Denki said in concern.
Yumi is okay now, she recovered.
Having the discussion with Denki, got me distracted from the exercise. As I finally notice a nearby window.
When we got there, I notice that the window is open, not just open the glass was smashed, and all the pieces were inside.
"What the hell? Why is the window broken?" Denki asks.
Tenya pov.
In the observation room.

"Well, this is a conundrum," Todoroki said watching the battle trial.
I sigh. "He is right, it seems like the villain team smashed every window in the building, during the 10-minute preparation time," I said.
"What do you mean, Tenya?" Ochaco asked me.
"I agree with Tenya." Izuku agrees with me. "From the couple exercises, most Hero Teams have been using the window to enter the building. Tokoyami and Asui smashed the windows inward, if Rachel or Denki decided to enter it would recreate nose and it would alert the villain team."
"What about running back down and using the door?" Ochaco asks.
"No can do, the timer is running, if they decided to enter the front door. They'll lose for sure." Izuku said.
We continue to watch, as we wonder how would they solve this problem.

Rachel's Pov
00:09:10 Remaining.
"It seems like the villain team got busy, and probably smashed every window in the building during their preparation time," I said looking at the problem.
"Why so sure they smashed every single one, there is a chance the floor above doesn't have smashed windows?"
"True, however, Denki the problem is we only have less than nine minutes left and counting. We don't have time to check to be sure. I'm afraid Asui and Tokoyami are smarter than they appear." I stared at the broken pieces of glass, as my eyes glowed white." But they're not smart enough." I said as I used my quirk to move the pieces of glass to make a clear path for Denki and I.
My partner smiled like a Cheshire Cat. "Awesome, now we can enter without alerting them." He coughs as he gestures to the entrance. "Ladies, first," he said in his usual bravado.
"Gee, What a gentleman." I played along, as I gently entered the building. "Good, come on we still need to find the fake nuke."
"Alright, let's win this."
00:08:20 remaining.
After entering the building quietly Denki and I used this time to check for the fake nuke around the third floor. Sadly after checking all six rooms, we didn't see the fake nuke or anyone from the villain team.
No Asui, and No Tokoyami.
"Shit, they're not here," Denki said.
"No kidding, I'm starting to think the broken window isn't just to alarm them, but to distract us, it took us to search all six rooms that took us almost a whole minute and the clock is still ticking." I sigh, they're smarter than I thought. "Let's go upstairs and probably the odds are still in our favor."
"Damn it," Denki said starting to complain. "I know that this is just training and all, I think with everyone watching, they're starting to think we're the lamest team!" He sighs. "Right now, having hiding cameras capturing our every move, is like where in our own action movie." Denki is gestures his hands in the air like he has a movie title that he wants to show me. "I can see it now, Denki Kaminari, and Rachel Iida stars in, Die Hard, but with Denki as the star!"
I sweat drops at the movie title. "So, in this movie idea of you're, it's the same plot as the first Die Hard movie, but instead of Bruce Willis playing his character John McClaine. He is replaced with you?" I asked him.
"Yup, but with a new kickass name… let's see… I got it, Claine McJohns. Yeah, and you'll be my new original sidekick, named. Nakatomi!"
"Wait, wait, you name my character based on the building from the movie?" I asked him, then a thought entered my head. "Alright, if you're Claine McJohns, and I'm your sidekick Nakatomi, does that mean, Tokoyami and Asui are the Germans?"
"No… you know, I think the origin of the country doesn't matter, heck we could say they're from America, and the state is Metropolist, the home of the best apple pie." Denki said, after finishing explaining his fanfiction.
I rolled my eyes, and I notice something off on the wall.
We reached the fourth floor, but I notice someone that only I could see.
An emotional aura.
Though no one's there. A wall cannot have an emotional aura, unless the person is invisible like Hakegure, or in camouflage, like a frog.
My hands glow, and the emotional aura starts to glow yellow. "Asui, I know you're there." I threw pieces of broken glass using my quirk, but she dodge it. Though it was enough to get her off her camouflage, as Denki and I can clearly see her now.
"How did you know where I was hiding? Ribbit." Asui asked.
"You may have been using your camouflage, but your emotions cannot hide from me, Denki go around and conner her!"
"Right!" Denki went running with his capture time ready in hand, Though cornering her didn't work. Denki ends up chasing her through the Halls.
"If you can't catch me, you'll never find where the bomb is!"
Denki can't catch her, So I have to help him. I channeled my quirk toward the doors heading to the next flight of stairs, I took them off the walls and use them to block Asui's path.
"Ribbit!" She croaks.
"Nowhere to run, Asui!" Denki said, "Tell us, where the nuke is, and we go easy on you!"
"Let me think about that." She tapped her chin. "I want to say… No!" She hops to the wall and hops to Denki kicking him off where he stands.
"Denki!" I cried for my partner, as I get my capture tape ready in hand.
"You're going down, Rachel!" Asui shouts her battle cry.
I use my quirk on my capture tape, as it flies all around Asui, wrapping her up, with the bunny ears knot included.
"Hey, not fair!" she cried out.
"I'm sorry Asui, but you are eliminated," I said to her, as we hear the announcement from the speakers.
Tsuyu Asui, you are eliminated.
"Darn it, fine. I accept this defeat, but you still don't know where the fake nuke is, and there are only six minutes left." Asui said.
I helped Denki up, as he shakes himself off. "Rachel, she is right. I don't think we have time to search the other floors." Denki said.
They're both right, searching for the fake nuke like how we originally planned isn't going to work. We have to find another solution.
Or, have Asui tell us where the fake bomb is.
I lean towards Asui. "You're right, with the remaining time. There is no way for Denki and I would ever win this Battle trial." I said. "It better yet you tell us."
Asui just chuckles. "You're kidding right, because Rachel, you are not Ms. Joke, and that is like the lamest joke I ever heard. Like why would I tell you where the bomb is?!"
I smirked. "Look Asui, I know you're a good girl who just wants a good grade in this class, and I understand that. But you leave me with no choice." I showed her my glowing hand. "It's either you tell me, willingly, or I can make you so scared that you end up telling me. If I were you Asui, I would choose option A. Over option B. It's your choice."
Asui just chuckles. "Here I thought, your brother is the comedian of the family. It turns out the Iida sister is the comedian. Like seriously, playing bad cop, and." She stared to Denki. "Mr. Die Hard over there."
"Hey, Die Hard is a good Christmas movie Asui!" Denki was badly insulted.
"Oh, I hurt your feelings? This is what happens when you make me into Huns Gruber from the movie! I will rather be the mom from Home Alone, rather be the main villain from Die Hard!" She fired back.
Denki gasped. "You know what Asui, there is a difference when you insult someone's feelings, and insult someone's favorite Christmas movie. Right now you are both, you are the Grinch that stole Christmas!"
"You guys, It's April, and somehow we're ending up talking about Christmas movies," I said breaking the ice. "Denki can you please stop talking about Die Hard? In case you forget we have a Battle Trial to win, and the clock is still ticking, Die Hard, Home Alone, or The Grinch who stole Christmas, won't stop a nuke to kill everyone on Earth. So please, for the sake of saving the world, can you stick to the program?"
Denki's went pale as he nodded.
"Thank you, what was I about to do again?" I stared at Asui, remembering what I was about to do. "Oh right."
As my hand glowed I touched Asui. From her look alone she wasn't impressed, clearly, she was expecting something flashy or whimsical. She has no clue what I'm about to do.
From touching her, I can feel what she's feeling. She feels calm and confident, she feels sure of herself, with total faith that she and Tokoyami will win.
Too bad, 'cause I'm going to change all that.
I don't know Asui on a personal level, but my quirk is telling me how confident she is, the total opposite of me. Asui's confidence is real, while I feel like I'm faking to be confident. Having to deal with my anxiety feels like the idea of me being confident feels like a game of charades, like I'm pretending to be brave, and sure of myself.
Which is the right emotion to give to Asui, I'm going to give what I usually feel every day, when I face my own anxiety. That inner fear that I am not good enough, that I can always need to be better than how I usually am. That is the self-doubt that I'm giving to Asui. I cannot make her see things that out scary like a monster. It's not like I'm telepathic. Perhaps making her doubt herself would be enough.
Like a snap of fingers Asui's face starts to frown, I think what I did worked. "I asked again, Asui. Will you take us to the fake nuke?"
Asui did something I didn't expect to do, she shed a tear. "Y-yes."
Denki rubbed the back of his neck. "Wow, umm… I don't know what happened, but we got information about where the bomb is."
Besides the feeling of awkwardness that I created, this whole situation felt easy.
Like too easy.
Something doesn't feel right.
Tenya's pov
In the observation room.

"So they're using Asui, to find the fake for them. That's clever of the Hero Team." Ojiro said. As we were watching the Battle Trial between the team of My Sister, and Denki, against Asui and Tokoyami.
I notice what my sister did, she change Asui's emotions. I figure she was able to change someone's emotions. Similar to the time she can tell the emotions of others by touching them, and the time that she once took Aizawa's grief and made his grief into her own. Back the night she first arrived in Japan, when we were six.
"Hey, what did your sister do to Asui, she looks so gloomy?" I notice it was Izuku who asked that question, and by the looks of it, the whole class what's to know too.
However, this is my sister's right to share, it is not my right. I'm sure she would have done the same thing if She was in my shoes. "I'm sorry Izuku, and everyone, but It's not my right to spill the bean about my sister's quirk. I think you should ask my sister instead when the exercise has been finished. Please and–"
"This is about her empathic quirk isn't it." dratz, Izuku interfered and I think he understood my sister's quirk now. "Yesterday, at Pizza Buddy, Rachel mentioned that her quirk is emotion base, but mental base."
Izuku continues. "At first I didn't understand what she meant, that her quirk is empathy, not telekinesis. Until after she did to Asui. Rachel can change someone's emotions, am I right?"
The cat is out of the bag. I can't any longer keep it as a secret, my classmates are not dumb, especially right after Izuku figured out her quirk. "Well, I hate to say this but, Midoriya is right," I said. "He figures out my sister's quirk. My sister's quirk is in fact empathy, she can tell people's emotions, by seeing an emotional aura that she can only see if the emotion is strong. She can tell someone's emotions by touch, including changing their motions, just like how she did with Asui. I'm not 100% what my sister made Asui feel, but it made her gloomy."
By the looks of my classmates they're starting to understand, I saw Yaoyarozu raising her hand. "Your sister has an interesting quirk Iida T. Though it doesn't explain her telekinesis. Such as her ball toss yesterday, we all know that balls don't have emotions."
This is the part where people get lost.
This time, I don't feel comfortable talking about my sister's birth parents. As Doctor Thompkins said, the main reason for the topic of my sister's quirk could be a case of the quirks of Rachel's biological parents.
"I'm sorry Yaoyarozu, but that is a question that I am not comfortable talking about it," I said to her as she nodded. I'm glad that she understood.
"Alright, perhaps let's continue watching the Battle Trial," Kirishima said. "It looks like things are going to be interesting."
Kirishima is right. I'm not comfortable talking about my sister's biological parents. Rachel is my best sister and best friend. I don't want a reminder that we're not related in blood, or share the same parents by the term of DNA. I don't care if she was adopted I love her as she is, my sister.
I sigh, I need to practice mindfulness and focus on what's in front of me, not my emotions or my worrisome thoughts. By the looks of it, Asui took Rachel and Denki to the sixth floor, and they still have time to win the Battle Trial.
'Good luck, sister.' I thought cheering for Rachel.
Rachel's pov

"The sixth floor, This better not be a trick Asui?" Denki asked.
"It's not a trick." Asui said. "Look, I'm already eliminated. I failed the exercise. Like why would I lie about it."
'Yes, why would she lie about the fake, nor take us to the room where the fake nuke is?' I started to wonder. 'I know I made Asui doubt herself. My quirk doesn't make someone obedient. She volunteered to bring us to the fake nuke instead of telling us the location. Something isn't right.'
"We're here, the sixth floor on the third door. Inside this room is where you can find the fake nuke." Asui said.
"Alright, victory here we come!" Denki cheered but halted him with my hand.
"Hold on, Denki. Something seems wrong. Where is Tokoyami?" I asked her.
"Oh, my partner. Tokoyami went and run and search for you guys. I told him it was a bad idea, but he didn't listen. I believe he is by the lobby right now?" Asui explained.
"Wait, he just ran off just like Bakugo?" Denki asked.
"Yup, He took off by surprise. He seemed calm and stoic, but in reality, he was just like Bakugo." Asui said.
"Geez, I had no clue."
Wait, this doesn't sound right.
True, since school started I have no idea what kind of person Tokoyami is, heck I barely remember everyone's names, I was about to call him Billy. That's how forgettable I am with names. From what I've seen so far about Tokoyami, he isn't like Bakugo, he is quiet and calm. He isn't a social butterfly like Ochaco or a barking mutt like Bakugo. Plus Asui's story is that he would run and tries to pick a fight with us, just like Bakugo. Doesn't add up
Plus why would he suddenly want to challenge Denki and me? Tokoyami has no score to settle with us, unlike Bakugo's motivation to fight Izuku, based on their past relationship.
This doesn't sound right, but before could respond Denki opened the door, and right over on the other side of the room was the fake nuke. "Hey, there is the fake nuke! Come on Rachel!" Denki smiled for seeing the fake nuke.
"Yeah Rachel, why not seek you're, Victory!" Asui shouted as she shove us into the room.
"Ow." I landed hard on the ground after being shoved by Asui. I had a feeling that Asui was playing us.
I did it right. I made her feel self-doubt, but I underestimated how confident Asui is. Even with my quirk, she was able to overcome the emotion of self-doubt.
"Good work, Asui. Thanks for bringing our party guest."
I checked where the voice came from, it out what Asui said about where her partner was, a lie. He didn't go running and search for Denki and me, it turns out he was here waiting for us. This was their plan.
Asui was the Trojan Horse, and having her take us to the fake nuke was a trap.
The question is now, what am I and Denki would do now?
Denki helped me up, as we got ready. "I know this looks bad, but I think we still have the upper hand. It is still two versus one. Asui is eliminated." Denki said to ensure that we can still win.
"Oh about that. Ribbit." our jaws dropped when Tokoyami snipped off the capture tape that I had wrapped around Asui. "The Hero team doesn't know this, but there is a special ability that the villain team can do that the Hero team doesn't know about."
"In case one of the villain team members gets captured, the other team member can free the partner," Tokoyami said as a new figure came out from his torso. This huge figure's appearance was all black-like ink with gold-colored eyes. It has a similar crow's head to the owner that this being came from. "I don't think I properly introduce to my quirk, let me introduce both to my friend. Rachel Iida, and Denki Kaminari, meet Dark Shadow."
We took a step back, we know that a fight is going to happen.
I was wrong, I thought this was going to be two versus two matches, instead, this is a three versus two.
The odds are no longer in our favor.
Tenya's pov.

I had a feeling that Rachel and Denki cannot avoid Tokoyami's quirk.
Dark Shadow.
After witnessing Tokoyami's quirk yesterday during Aizawa's Quirk assignment test. I and probably everyone else in 1A were surprised to see Dark Shadow for the first time.
It is not every day to witness a living quirk, with its own free will.
Now with five minutes remaining, I don't know how Rachel and Denki would win this Battle trial.
'Good luck sis, and Denki.' I cheered for them.
Rachel's pov.

There are Five minutes left, Denki and I found the fake nuke.
Though there is a big problem for my partner and me.
That would be our opponents, Asui, Tokoyami, and Dark Shadow.
I'm sure Denki understands, that the only way for us to win, is by fighting through, and from Denki's understanding, Dark Shadow is the final boss.
"So, who is fighting who, are you going to fight Asui or Tokoyami and Dark Shadow?"
Denki gave a good question. We're not quirk experts, but Dark Shadow is blocking the fake nuke. Though in order for us to win the exercise is for Denki or me to touch the fake nuke. As All Might said, this is not a no-holds-bar match, the objective is not to fight until someone is knocked out. Our wrapped in capture tape.
If I have Denki fight Asui, he would have a better chance to reach the fake nuke. Then I can help him by using my quirk.
"Denki this is not an easy decision, but I think you should fight Asui."
"Wait, you want me to fight a girl!" He panicked.
"Yes, I'm having you girl, don't make this weird," I said, to my partner, as I did the first attack on Tokoyami, by levitating the door off the wall and throwing it to him.
However, Dark Shadow catches the door. "That's all you got!" The living-quick yelled as he threw the door back to us.
We jumped out of the way on time. "Oh shit, I guess that's my cue, Hey Asui, you're fighting me, baby," Denki said charging towards Asui, with sparks on his hands.
"Find me if you can first, ribbit." Asui jump onto the wall and went completely camouflage mode.
"Shit, I forgot she do that."
As Denki handles Asui, I have to keep Fumikage busy in order for Denki to reach the fake nuke. Dark Shadow is a big problem, the door that I threw at him was nothing for him, I don't know what could hurt the living shadow.
No other choice I ripped the same door into two and threw them again onto Dark Shadow, but the shadow catched door and crush them like they were bath bombs. "That's all you got, hot legs!"
"Dark Shadow!" Tokoyami blushed as shouted to Dark Shadow.
"What, you thought her legs are sexy as fuck!" the living shadow replied.
"STOP TALKING AND WRAP HER UP WITH THE CAPTURE TAPE ALREADY!
"Fine." Dark shadow went charging towards me with capture tape on hand. There is no way I can dodge, or outrun the living shadow. What I can do is block him. My eyes glew as I create the same energy bubble I did back in the entrance exam against the Zero pointer.
"What?!" Tokoyami said in surprise.
Tenya's Pov.
In the observation room.

While everyone was wowed at the fight between Dark Shadow and my sister. I was surprised by the force field she created with her quirk.
I know my family and learned that Rachel got the highest villain points during the entrance exam, thanks to Present Mic during her acceptance letter, but Yamada didn't give details on how she did it.
'Is this how my sister defeated the Zero pointer? I know Denki was there and witness her in action, but seeing this new ability with her quirk. This isn't how I pictured it. I thought my sister use the pointer robots as throwing projectiles, but I'm starting to see that I might be wrong.'
"Woah, Iida T. Your sister is so manly!"
"I agree with Kirishima, Iida T. She has a marvelous quirk."
"Tenya, I had no clue your sister could do that, I bet you're proud of your sister." Ochaco cheered.
I am proud of her, but I feel like there is a weird gap between my sister and me. Her quirk is amazing, she can do anything with her quirk. However, I can only run away.
Back in the entrance exam, I could have earned rescue points, but there was a reason why Rescue points were never mentioned on the exam. That was to see who among us can be Pro Heroes, real heroes.
After seeing Midoriya saving Ochaco and after learning that Rachel earns rescue points by saving Denki. I don't know if am doing anything right.
I could have worked things out with Bakugo during our Battle Trial, but I didn't.
I don't feel like a Hero, right?
I feel like I'm just playing pretend.
'What am I doing wrong?'
Rachel's Pov.

I'm struggling to hold this force field. If Dark Shadow continues his attacks on my force field, it would crack.
I'm playing defense, I need to turn the tables around, somehow?
I throwing projectiles at Dark Shadow doesn't harm him. He is a living quirk I don't know if he knows the feeling of pain. I'm not sure if this living quirk even has emotions, I don't think I can make him feel anything.
Ding!
"Haha! Your force field can be weakened, am I right toots." Dark Shadow pervy said, making one of his claws pierce through my force field.
"Tokoyami, tell you to the quirk that my eyes are around my face, not my legs," I said, the boy just gulped after I mentioned my request.
I can't use this force field any longer, I need help. "Denki! I need your help!" I cried to him.
"W-What do you do you want me to do!" He asked in a panic.
"Use your quirk, Zap him with your electricity!"
"What about the fake nuke, If that was a real nuke, I would kill billions of people!" Denki asks. He has a point. I channel my emotion of willpower and created a second force field around the fake nuke.
"There, the fake nuke is safe! Use your electricity against Tokoyami!" I yelled as Dark Shadow continues to attack my force field.
"Alright, Here I go!" Denki said as sparks shines around him. Tokoyami commanded Dark Shadow to attack Denki, but it was to late. "Indiscriminate shock 1.3 thousand volts!" Denki shouted his battle cry as the whole room was covered with Denki's electricity. From my point of view, while being protected by my shield. It looked beautiful, it was like personal fireworks show close-up. I hear the screaming of Tokoyami and Dark Shadow. It turns out Dark Shadow can be hurt physically. Probably from the electricity itself or the flashing lights. The electricity even reveals Asui from her camouflage ability.
Denki finally stopped as he took some breaths. "Holy Fuck! I used a lot of my quirk, are they okay?" After Denki asked that, the villain team finally collapses, oddly enough Asui is on top of Tokoyami.
I went to check their pulse in the hopes that Denki didn't accidentally kill them. "Good news they're fine, and still breathing."
"Phew, I thought I was going to jail for murder. Hey, thanks, I thought we were going to fail this exercise," he said.
Though I disagree with him. "I should be the one thanking you, to be honest, I feel like I'm just guessing throughout the Battle Trial, and I thought I was strong enough to fight Dark Shadow. I was wrong, If anyone should get the MVP score, it should be you, you go Claine McJohns."
"Thanks," he blushes. "Though there is one more thing we need to do, in order to win."
Denki walked over to the fake nuke, and touch it. The speakers turned on, as All Might's voice boomed on the speakers.
With two minutes remaining. Rachel Iida and Denki Kaminari you both pass the exercise.
I was happy, but Denki's face shows his joy. "I'm only going to say this once." Denki's paused. "Booyah!" he cheered.
45 minutes later.
In Classroom 1A.
After the whole class changed back to their school uniform, we all return to the classroom to rest before we go home.
I was so proud of myself and Denki for winning the battle trial. Though no one got the MVP grade. I knew I could have the exercise a bit better. Like not bringing Asui to take us to the fake nuke.
If this was a real operation, She would be cuffed onto something ensuring that she won't escape. Also by the end, Denki and I shouldn't leave Asui on top of Tokoyami, it turned out he accidentally grope her boob. Dark Shadow can be such a gossip.
"Geez, that exercise was quite something!" Denki said exhausted as he sat down on his desk.
"Well, I don't blame you." Ochaco just came into the classroom. "You guys went last, I bet you guys are tired."
"I'm not tired, I feel bad, both Asui and Tokoyami are with Recovery Girl… Also, Rachel and I took them to her clinic, Sato, Jiro, Ashido, and Aoyama weren't there… Do you guys think they're at the hospital?"
From Denki's question things went dark recalling what happened to Sato earlier. "Denki, if they are in the hospital. Let's just hope Sato isn't getting his hand removed, or getting new skin issues from donors." I said, and I made the situation things worst.
"Okay, that's just gross. I'm changing the subject, has anyone seen Deku I don't see him here?" Ochaco was right, Where was our friend?
"Izuku is outside, he is talking to Bakugo." My Brother came in telling us that information.
"What for? Izuku and Bakugo is a toxic relationship, He should move on and leave Bakugo, I don't care what past friendship they have." I said hoping they would agree with me.
"I don't know Rachel. I talked to Deki earlier before our battle trial ended." Ochaco said, as she explained. "What he told me was, Bakugo may be a jerk, but he says that he is amazing. Apparently, he looks up to Bakugo, and yeah he knows Bakugo is stronger than him, but he doesn't care because he wants to win. I think Deku wants to prove Bakugo that he isn't the same person from their shared past."
'Damn, that's deep.' I thought.
"Umm guys, I might be the only one who thinks this, but is Izuku gay for Bakugo?" Denki asked a pretty good question.
"Now, thinking about it, I think he is gay?" Ochaco said.
"Totally gay." I said.
"I can see it too, Were Bakugo and Izuku ex-lovers?" Tenya said, My brother had a point, we think that Bakugo and Izuku were exes.
"You guys think I'm gay?"
We turned around to see Izuku who just entered the room. "First of all I'm not gay, Denki aren't you gay?" he asks.
"I'm Bisexual actually, but go on."
"Second. I'm not Bakugo's ex. Bakugo and I were old friends, now he is my rival." Izuku explained.
"Rivals? What is this a Shonen Anime? Dude this is real life, this is not Twilight. I'm team Jacob by the way." Denki joked.
"Alright, let's give Izuku a break. "Tenya said, defending Izuku. "It's perfectly okay for Izuku to have, it's like All Might and Endeavor, they're rivals. If those two adult men can be rival, Izuku and Bakugo can be rivals."
We all agree with my brother, even though I see their rivalry as toxic.
"Izuku, we have to know, what you and Bakugo talked about outside. Denki asks.
We paid attention to Izuku to know what happened out there. Once again I saw Izuku's emotional aura, he seems nervous.
Though he calm down eventually. "I just had a talk… as rivals, not ex-lovers." He said in a serious tone. "I told him that, I am not going to lose, that I have a lot to catch up to. I am still new to my quirk and I plan to master it, to one day overcome him with my quirk."
I have to admit, that was a good speech, but as I good friend, I need to make fun of him. "So there wasn't a kiss goodbye?" We laughed as Izuku became frustrated.
"All jokes aside, Izuku I was wondering if you come with me to the support studio to talk about the support item for my Hero Costume."
Izuku smiled at Denki's request. "Sure, Let me get my notebook and we can head to the support studio," he said.
I was tired along with my brother and Ochaco. "If you boys are heading to the Support Studio, Bro, Ochaco. Do you guys want to head out?"
My brother rubbed the back of his head. "Well, class is over. I guess we can head home."
"You guys go ahead. Denki and I could be a while."
Just like that, the second day of school ended.
Tomorrow is Friday, I can't wait for Sunday, I promise Yumi that Tenya and I are going to visit her at the Children's hospital.
For now, I'm heading home.
Woooow, I have so much fun writing this chapter. I thought writing a fight scene would be hard, but I'm glad that I'm writing the fight from the point of view of Raven. She is someone who would use her powers more than physical attacks, similar to Izuku and Tenya.
As for Denki's last attack against, Tokoyami and Asui. It's based on the video game, My Hero One's Justice 2, it was Denki's Ultimate attack one
Yes, Tenya and Starfire dated before, but they only dated for three months.
The next chapter is going to be a filler chapter, with more focus on Denki and Izuku as they visit the Support Studio for Denki to have a support item. We're going to see DC Characters, do you guys have any guesses?
