Rachel Versus The USJ

Today we were told that we're supposed to have a simple rescue exercise. Deep down I was looking toward the activity. One of the reasons why I want to be a hero is to help people. Ever since I was little I always had this deep feeling that I doing good would. Ease my soul.

I don't know what it is, but deep down in the depths of my soul, it feels like something bad will happen one day, and somehow it will be my fault.

I always assume it might have to do with my old life before I had my amnesia.

Now, that doesn't matter. What is in front of me and my classmates is not the result of my actions.

Rather it's the actions of the villains by the Plaza.

Everyone is scared shitless.

I am scared too, my breathing is rapid and my eyes can't look away from the horror show the villains.

This isn't a YouTube villain's funny video, like those ridiculous Karen videos. This however is real, and not a YouTube video, and I doubt this will not be funny.

I'm scared.

"Villains, no way, What villains would be dumb enough to sneak onto a school for Heroes!" Yaoyarozu shouted. "Thirteen, are there intruder sensors in the USJ?!

"Of course and It should be working!" Thirteen said in a panic.

"Are they only here or also at the main building?" Todoroki asks. "Either way if the sensors aren't working it has to be one of the quirks that are doing it… This place is far from the campus, and they picked a time when there'd be few people here… they're not as dumb as they seem. They must have an objective. This is a well-coordinated sneak attack."

Everything that Todoroki is saying could be a possibility. There is a strong chance that the villains did have an objective, but I don't want to be here and find out. We're students we— I am not ready for this.

I'm fucking scared.

I'm breathing heavily, I can hear voices around me, but my heartbeat cancels them out. I couldn't tell whose voice was who. I clenched my chest as my fear clouded my thoughts.

'Look at them they're so many, and they look strong. I-I can't, I'm not strong enough.'

Rachel!

I'm starting to tear up, I feel my emotions rising. 'They're going to kill me, I'm going to die!

Rachel!"

'I'm going to die, I'm going to die, I'M GOING TO DIE!

"RACHEL!"

I finally snapped out and saw it was my brother and Denki.

"Oh thank X-Hal, you snapped out of it, Rachel please come, Aizawa told us to evacuate with Thirteen!" Tenya ensured our safety.

"Dude, your brother is right, This is not the time to sightseeing. We have to go!" Denki said, we too were scared as I am.

Before we could we were stopped by Aizawa's voice. "Kaminari, try using your quirk if my theory is correct. There might be another electric quirk user blocking contacts outside the USJ!" Aizawa ordered him. "Once you get a single contact with the school or the police, We need backup!"

Denki nodded. "Yes, Sensei!"

We're about to leave when I notice one student is missing, and he happens to be my friend. "Guys where's Izuku!" I said panicking everyone."

We looked around and noticed that he was saying something to Aizawa. Whatever they talked about probably mattered, because Aizawa went to fight the villains by the plaza.

I notice my Brother fetching Izuku. "Izuku, this is not the time to analyze quirks, we have to run!"

I was grateful now everyone was here. "Thank X-Hal, We need to escape the USJ." I turned my attention to Denki trying to get a signal using his device. "Denki, how's it going?"

He chuckled. "Well It would be easier if I wasn't running, but good news I got a signal."

"Good, now contact the school!" Thirteen Ordered.

He smiled, "Yes, Siiiiiiiirrrrrr! Aaaaaaahhhhaaahhhhh!" He screamed in pain, and we all heard that buzzing noise from Denki's hearing device. He threw it off to the ground, I went to comfort my friend.

"Holy shit, Denki are you alright?" I asked.

He groaned "Son of a bitch, that fucking hurt!" he hold his ear with his hand.

"What the hell just happened?" Jiro asked no one knows.

"I can answer that, snot head!"

The unexpected happened, a voice talked through Denki's earpiece. However, their voice has a filter, masking their gender.

"Sup, Thirteen, and future Snot-Heads-In-Training. Let me introduce myself. I am the reason why there is no signal in the USJ. Thirteen, you probably heard of me, the CIA's most wanted hacker. Gizmo!"

Thirteen voice went to a tone of worry. "Gizmo? Wait, I heard about you, You're supposed to be dead, The CIA marked you dead!"

"Wrong, Biyotch! I live and breathe, in my comfy hideout!" the villain paused. "Saw, this is the Future Heroes-In-Training. What a disappointment, I was expecting someone more impressive, I guess I have to deal with wannabes."

"What do you mean Wannabes!" Bakugo shouted. "Why not come over here and face me?! I'll show you a wannabe."

The villain responds. "Nah, some other time. I distract you long enough, for my friend to circle you, chumps!" Gizmo said.

Wait what?

We turned around and noticed we were surrounded by black mist with a violet color glow.

"Kurogiri, take the stage!"

"Thanks for the distraction GIzmo." The Mist-like villain said, that the villain called him Kurogiri. "Greetings, We are the League of Villains. Forgive our audacity but… Today we've come here to UA High to end the life of the Symbol of Peace, All Might."

Wait, they're here for All Might.

What does that make my classmates and me, their hostages?

What would they do to us to get his attention?

Will they kill each one of us every hour, just to get his attention?

I'm having trouble breathing and I'm having trouble moving a muscle. Is this what a panic attack is like?

Please All Might save us!

There was a nearby explosion sound, At first, I thought the villains brought bombs, but It turns out it was Bakugo and Kirishima trying to land an attack on the Mist villain.

"Not if we end you first!" Kirishima said in fury. "I betcha didn't see that coming!"

There was laughter at Denki's communication device. "LOL, do you think you two Snot-Heads, could hurt Kurogiri? The man is walking puff of air. Hahahaha!" Their tone turns more serious. "Kurogiri, I got word from our leader, that it is time for Plan B."

"Certainly," Kurogiri said as he covered us with his mist of his.

"RACHEL!" I heard my brother's voice calling out for me, but It was too late, I could no longer feel the ground under my feet, as I went falling.

At the Mountain rescue area.

"Aaaaahhhh! Ugh!" I landed hard on a rough surface.

When I stood up and looked around I noticed I was nowhere near the main entrance. Looking at the area much more this must have been the mountain zone due to its rocky appearance.

As a city gal, I have only seen mountains in pictures. I assume this is what I mountain would look like.

This isn't a good time for sightseeing, there are villains at the USJ and I have no clue what happened to my friends and my brother, I need to get back to them.

"Rooooaaaaarr!"

I turned around to see what that was, but I got splashed by water knocking me over. The one who splashed me was an aquatic-looking man, he was a mutant type with blue skin. He was also dripping, assumingly caused by his quirk. The man spoke in a country accent. "Well, well, I guess All Might isn't coming, but maybe killing a teenage brat would call his attention," he said as he shoot water from his arms.

I created a force field to block out his water attack. though my shield isn't strong. from taking Izuku's worries from earlier. I think I made his worries into mine.

My fear earlier was amplified by Izuku's own emotions, now it's affecting my force field. My shield isn't going to hold.

"Oh, when I break your stupid force field. The boys and I would take our turns torturing yo— Zzzzzzz." The villain wasn't able to finish his death threat and was shocked by the electricity.

What rolled behind him was an orange disk. "What the hell just happened."

"Oh dear god, Rachel you're here."

I recognize that voice as I lower my shield, it turns out it is my friend. "Denki, oh thank X-Hal hugged him. I was happy to see him, he hugged me too. "Denki, are any of the others here too? Ochaco, Izuku, My Brother, or anyone?" I asked him.

He shook his head. "No, and I don't know where they are, I was attacked too, but I was able to knock out the villain with my quirk. I gotta tell you, he was a tough bastard," he said.

I checked the pulse of the villain to make sure he was okay, electricity and water don't mix after all. "Alright, this bastard is still alive, thanks for saving me."

He blushed. "You're welcome, you saved my life first back in the entrance exam."

I smiled, I recall how we met. "You're right, I guess we're even." I frowned remembering a small detail that the villain told me. "Denki we need to get out of the mountain zone as fast as possible and find a place to hide." I turned around hoping he'd join me, but he stopped me.

"Rachel, wait, I think we need to check the area," Denki said. as I paid attention. "Look, I don't dislike your plan but if any of our classmates are here and we left them defenseless. We cannot call ourselves heroes, we would be cowards instead."

Darn it, Denki is right.

We cannot just leave the area in case any of our classmates are in the area. "You're right, it's what a hero would do. If there is any chance there is someone in the mountain zone, we need to rescue them."

We both agreed to search the area. I pray to X-Hal, that Tenya and the others are fine.

The Main Entrance

Tenya's POV.

The situation went to shit so quickly.

When I saw the mist villain go to cover the class, I was able to grab Ashido and Ochaco to safety, but I wasn't fast enough to grab my sister to safety, and now she's gone with a huge chunk of my classmates.

I'm so angry at myself for not taking my sister to safety, Izuku and Denki are missing too, but most of all I'm angry at the bastard who took my sister.

"Hey, You bastard!" I yelled to the mist bastard. "Where the hell have you taken my sister?!"

Looking at the bastard, I couldn't tell his facial expression but his tone sounded like he didn't care. "I stroke a nerve did I, She could be anywhere for all I know, whoever this bitch sister of yours is." The villain knows to push my buttons, like how dare he call Rachel such an insult.

Before I could I felt Ochaco's hands holding my arm, I noticed her face she was scared. She has every right to be, many of our classmates were taken, including our friends. There is no telling where Rachel, Denki, and Izuku are.

If Rachel was here she would want me to calm down and don't let my emotions control my actions, she's probably safe and not alone.

I have fate that my sister and my friends are safe, they are kicking some asses to remain safe too.

"Class president." I heard Thirteen calling for me, "Look, I understand you are worried for your classmate, but I need you to stay calm because I'm giving you an important task." I gulped. "Look, the mist villain in front of us, attacking him physically won't even hurt him, because of his quirk. However, I would use my quirk to distract him the best as I can, while I do so. I need you to get ready for a running start. President, you are the only one fast enough to call for help, from UA, it's only a 15-minute ride here, but if your quirk is like your family's it would be less."

The mist villain chuckled. "You seriously plotting a plan, in front of me, how hilarious."

However, Thirteen ignored him. "President, I need you to be brave and do what is right, there is no other way to contact UA or the Police, you are the only one who can do it. I need you to run!"

I heard Thirteen's every word but. "Thirteen, I can't leave everyone behind, especially my sister, I won't abandon any of you!" I shouted back.

However, Sero yelled at me. "Class President, Thirteen is right, and we'll be okay, and we'll keep Rachel safe. He and the remaining students started to cheer.

"We'll be okay, please call for help!"

"Rachel is going to be fine, please go!"

"Tenya, you can do this!" Even Ochaco started to cheer for me.

They were right, If I stayed here the situation would be worse, and I don't know how much longer Aizawa can keep fighting. Right now my only thoughts are to get help, and Rachel. Please be okay.

"Get into a running start, I'll use my quirk." I went to a running start, as Thirteen's fingers popped and their quirk activated sucking up the villain like a vacuum.

"Thirteen, my dear, I know how dangerous your quirk is. However, lady luck is on my side." Thirteen's quirk was working. However there was a mist portal right behind them, and it started to suck up Thirteen's costume. "Because your quirk is your downfall. Fighting me is your worst mistake, dearie."

"Thirteen!" Ashido cried for Thirteen seeing that they were down.

"Iida T. This you're chance run!" Sero yelled as I started running.

I notice that the villain is distracted, if I could just jump high enough I should be able to escape. "No, you don't!" Crap, he spotted me. If I'm not able to escape I failed Thirteen.

"No, you don't!" I saw Ochaco and she used her quirk on the mist guy, making him float and I managed to escape.

"Brat!" the villain swang a punch to Ochaco sending her away, but Sero was able to catch her. I almost turned around, but I noticed Ashido and Aoyama using their long-distance quirks against the villain. "Class President goes, We'll check Uraraka, please leave!" Ashido said, shooting out her acid.

Thank you, everyone, for your help, I mentally thanked them, and as Irann closer there was only one person in my head, hoping that she was okay.

'Please be Okay Rachel, I promise I'll come back with the teachers, just keep holding on, your big brother will be back in a flash.' Just like that, I left the USJ to call for help.

Rachel's POV.

Denki and I continue our search to find any of our classmates, so far it's been too quiet. The silence worries me though. The entire USJ is surrounded by villains, and Aizawagoest fights them to buy us time to escape. That however didn't end up as we hoped.

I wish that Aizawa doesn't get hurt, and I pray for the safety of my brother, wherever he is.

"Rachel." I heard Denki calling for me. I paid attention as we continued to walk. "It is just me, or does Tenya have a crush on Ochaco?"

That caught me off, guard. Though knowing Denki, he would use this discussion to distract his insecurities, and of course his fear of the situation. I decided to play along, it would help me calm down. "You see that too? I figured it out because I'm his sister. How did you figure it out?"

He chuckled. "Well, to be honest, your brother is like an open book. His blushes are pretty clear, if he was an Anime character he would have a nosebleed… Never mind, I forgot nose bleeds in Anime meant he has a boner."

I choke out a small laugh. "Okie, that's something I want to avoid imagining. Is there something else you want to talk about, while we try to find signs of our classmates?"

I noticed Denki blush and his aura turned violet, which only meant one thing. "Well, I met someone yesterday." Yup, he has a crush. "It was yesterday when Izuku and I left the Support Studio, I met this cute guy with lavender-colored hair," Denki said.

'Lavender-colored hair? Wait, that sounds like Denki is describing Hitoshi… There is no way… unless they met yesterday by accident… I need more answers, I have to admit this sounds juicy.' I thought.

"Umm, by any chance you caught his name?" I asked.

"I did, well, his family name at least. He said his name is—" Denki was interrupted when we heard distance screaming.

We ran up the hill, and under the hill, we saw it was Todoroki, and he was struggling with his fight with multiple villains.

"Todoroki!" Denki yelled out catching the attention of the villains.

"Look, over there there are more brats!" One of the villains shouted and they were running straight at us.

A dozen villains are heading our way, while there are twice a dozen that Todoroki is fighting off. The odds aren't in our favor unless we play smart, we have to use our quirks.

I notice Denki taking out his slingshot and the orange disks from earlier. I notice he charges his electricity and the disk is wrapped around with his lightning. He fired three of them, and it hit three enemies, shocking them to submission.

"Oh Shit, he has an electricity quirk! Avoid his aim!" One of the villains ordered the other villains.

This isn't good, they know that they should avoid Denki's disks, and he would need my help. I notice there are rocks big enough to hurt them.

I went to concentrate my emotions to levitate those rocks to control them in my own will. My emotions are strong enough because I had enough of this bullshit. I didn't ask for a villain attack to ruin my high school experience. I'm a high school student crying out loud. I shouldn't worry about fighting villains until graduation. This isn't how I pictured going to high school, I was expecting stuff like school plays, sports events, or even school dances. But, No, Villains just have to ruin everyone's high school experience and that just made me very angry.

I threw the rocks at the villain because the rocks that I threw were as big as watermelons, and they would hurt the villain badly enough.

"Stop it, you brat!" one of the villains said after they got him by the rock I threw at them.

I threw a bigger rock at them, but one of the villains was able to destroy it with one punch. "That's the best you got?" The villain was very muscular, he was as tall as Shoji, and just like my classmate, he had a multiple-arm mutation, because he as another set of muscular arms.

He was the muscle of their group and none of my attacks could hurt him. I have to think of another way to defeat that guy.

"H-Hey Rachel, they're getting closer, I think we need your force field," Denki said in a panic.

'My force field, of course!' I thought as I made a plan.

"Denki, remember how we won yesterday during our training exercise with Asui and Tokoyami?" I asked, hoping Denki remembered.

"You mean, how I shocked them with my quirk?!" he said,

"Yes, I need you to do it again!" I said as I created walls cutting off any exit that the villains, only leaving one entryway, just in front of us.

"Oh, I see what you're trying to say." Denki grinned as he charged both of his pointing fingers and pointed at two of his orange disks. "This is my super move, I wanted to show you this move Rachel, this is what Karen taught me. Super move: 1.21 Gigawatts Lightning Web!" Denki fired his electricity and all the disks that he fired rose, right in front of the villain's torso as Denki's electricity covered the villain with his electricity.

He wasn't wrong, the lightning does look like a spider's web, and the villains are flies into Denki's web.

The electricity stopped, and I lowered my shield.

The villains are knocked out, and our fight ends.

"Booyah!" Denki cheered for our victory.

That was amazing.

Denki is stronger than I thought, perhaps with a little more hard work and confidence he could easily be one of the strongest members of 1A.

I was exhausted, and I used a lot of my quirk, but we still needed to reunite with Todoroki.

When we finally got there to help him fight off the villains, apparently he didn't need our help, the villains were frozen. It was the act of Todoroki's quirk.

Denki whistles. "Dang, Elsa you show yourself to them, uh?" Denki said trying to compliment Todoroki.

"I have no clue what you're talking about?" The peppermint boy replied.

"My bad, Fire Lord Zuko." I rolled my eyes at Denki as a joke.

I went to talk to ice quirked classmate of mine. "Todoroki, I have to admit this is very impressive," I said to him.

"Thank you, but I need to interrogate this scum," Todoroki said as he plan to do.

"You know, at this rate, your skin rots away from frostbite, but I'm trying to become a hero, and heroes don't do such horrible things," Todoroki said, "What makes you think you can kill All Might… Tell me the plan."

Todoroki did good, I saw the villain's aura showing, and it was yellow. He is scared shitless.

The villain shivers to talk." A-a-a-alright-t-t-t, The Leader, h-h-has a mon-mon-mon-monster, called No-No-Nomu."

That intrigued our interest. "Tell me, what is Nomu's quirk?"

"Their quirk is– Aaaahhh!" We took a step back. The villain screamed because he was killed, by a sharp rock exiting his mouth.

"Jesus Christ!" One of the villains shouted as a boulder was thrown at her, killing the female villain.

More, and more villains are being killed by rocks, and we feel the ground shaking as it lifts off the ground taking us with it.

"Rachel, take us down!" Todoroki shouted at me.

"This isn't my doing!" I shouted back at him. As I answered him we fell back to the ground, hard this time.

"Hello, have you guys ever heard of a new challenger who has entered the arena?"

We all looked up to see it was a girl a bit older than us, she was controlling the boulder that she stood on. She was making the boulder float, I assume that's her quirk.

The young lady was wearing hiking boots, yellow shorts, and a black long-sleeve T-shirt. The girl was white, but she spoke in an accent that I could pinpoint as European, she also had long blond hair though the left side of her head was shaved into a buzz cut.

The new villain has a geokinesis quirk, and we're standing in the worst zone possibly because the Mountain zone is made of real Earth.

We were screwed, and the villain just had to introduce herself.

"The name's Terra."

I have so much fun writing this new chapter.

I've been wanting to introduce Terra for the last couple of months now, and finally, it paid off.

As for the USJ, there are a few changes, like having Denki in the mountain zone rather than Momo and Kyoka like in canon.

In canon, Hakegure was with Todoriki in the mountain zone, but I replaced her with Denki, so Toru is with Momo and Kyoka in the landslide zone, I also gave them Rikido Sato as a backup.

Originally, this was supposed to be part of the chapter Election, however, I decided to split it into two different chapters.

As for Izuku, his story runs exactly like in canon in the shipwreck zone with Asui and Mineta, we'll see them much later.

I can't wait for the next chapter.
