After the second task shit hit the fan as one would say. Hermione left the hospital wing with her freshly banged hand the stupid hate mail she was getting because of Rita Skeeter's article she was no longer just getting letters with mean words nope now people thought they had a right to harm her. It was bad enough when people thought she was dating Harry but now they believed she was cheating on him with Krum she wasn't even really dating Krum at this time she would say they were in the period of getting to know each other and enjoying each other company which she was.

Though Ron was being an ass about it. Sure she had started thinking about Ron in a more than a friend way. But those thoughts were brief and the fact that he thought she would be a last resort choice made her feel that she and Ron were not in the same place when it came to maturity and relationships. She was lost in thought when she suddenly felt someone next to her.

Turning her head she saw Theo matching her steps. " Hey, that looks nasty" he commented on her banged hand. She gave an awkward nod. This was the first time they'd really spoken outside in the open in the castle with a chance of someone seeing them.

" Never thought Potter would have such a devoted fan base that they would send hate mail, Krum I can get " Theo kept his eyes on her hand while he walked Hermione sighed

"it's all that Rita Skeeter I don't even know how she's getting this information " Hermione fiddled with her bag pulling her hair from the strap

" you didn't straighten your hair again you haven't done it since the ball" Hermione glanced at him and started nervously patting down her unruly hair.

" Yeah it takes too much time I'd rather focus on other things" she mumbled thinking that she should probably at least use the night cream to help it relax as Ginny had suggested.

" sooo are you dating Krum or" Theo seemed to blurt out then trail off.

" Oh well I'm not really sure he's nice and it's really interesting talking to him about his home and school experience but I can't really say we're dating or anything he's been joining me in the library lately" Theo nodded as she spoke

" well, I'm sure when you say yes to actually dating he'll be happy he's been stalking you for a while" Hermione gave him a skeptical look but also remembered how Viktor had said he had been going to the library just to work up the courage to talk to her, but that didn't really count as stalking did it?

" I didn't notice," she said looking down instead of meeting his gaze.

" Yeah you wouldn't" his hand gently grasps her banged one turning it over to examine it. " You shouldn't open any more of those letters" Hermione felt her face heat just a bit before pulling her hand away grasping her bag to busy it.

" Yeah your not the only one who told me that I'll be more careful and just burn the ones from people I don't recognize" Theo nodded giving a small smile before walking away with a short wave.

" ahhh Draco" Pansy moaned as he quickly thrust into her. Draco was in a bad mood since reading Rita Skeeter's latest article. He had enjoyed her articles poking fun at Potter. Even the one where it said he and Granger were dating was funny knowing how impossible it was. He himself had been giving every embarrassing story on Potter since she showed up.

But then Hermione showed up with Krum at the Yule ball and ever since Krums been following her to the library and spending time with her when she wasn't with Potter and Weasley and Skeeter jumped at the story. Draco had noticed how they had grown quite close she was even the most important person he saved for the second challenge he wondered if they were now dating now he was clearly jealous of Potter when Granger was fussing over him.

Draco's thrust grew harder at the memory of Granger being pulled out of the water in Krum's arms. Pansy grabbed the desk she was pressed agent to steady herself. He had been in a sour mode for weeks and the lattes thing to piss him off was when he read about how Granger would be visiting and staying with Krum during summer break. It angered him that Granger was with Krum it angered him that she had broken things off with him it angered him that these things angered him, he didn't want to think of it anymore.

Instead, he focused on the girl beneath him her moans and pleas to keep going. He could feel himself getting close " fuck Pansy I'm going to cum" he pulled her up from the desk as he continued to thrust up into her he felt her clasp and flutter around him her body going into a spasm he felt himself lose control at that, two last thrusts he pulled out shooting long streams on her back. He let go letting her drop to the desk as he went to a chair allowing his legs to buckle underneath him.

He watched her pant and regain herself. They have been fucking since the Yule ball though the first time was a bit hazy what with him being pissed and nursing a concussion. He had continued to meet with others girls, even with Pansy proclaiming herself his girlfriend. He never said she was nor did he say he wasn't dating her in truth it would have been too much trouble and he liked having someone to fuck whenever he wanted.

He waved his wand cleaning up; he had learned and practiced it after Granger had first shown it to him. Getting up to leave Pansy asked where he was going his reply was short. "None of your business." He headed to the common room thinking that he should really get his charms homework done when he spotted Blaise and Theo in a corner of the common room playing Wizzard chess he used his wand to move one of the black leather armchairs over to them.

" Hello, mister chipper" Blaise greeted he had started giving him sarcastic nicknames, not something he was fond of.

" What are you two up to this evening?" he asked settling down in the chair.

" Talking, playing" Theo replied lazily taking one of Blaise's knights. " Yes, Theo here was just telling me why he wasn't going to go after a girl he fancies" Theo gave Blaise a glare, setting down his bishop checking Blaise.

Blaise just laid back in his chair smiling looking at the board not seeming to acknowledge the burning glare.

" Oh, who's this witch you fancy and why aren't you going after her" Draco was actually interested Theo kept a pretty tight lip when it came to anything personal like a relationship not that witches weren't always willing to spend time with him it was him who brushed them off. Blaise, he noticed also never talked about his relationships though he had seen him walk off with enough girls. Whenever asked he would just put his finger to his lips and say he's a gentleman.

" Well she's a bit more popular than I thought she was" Theo started playing with a captured piece " no not like that," he said seeing the looks on the other two boys' faces. " She's one of those types that you wouldn't really look twice at but the moment you spend three minutes talking to her that all you really want to do, is be around her. I'm sure she has a lot of guys who would like to date her but are too scared of being rejected or ruining it or something, so she has stayed single with little to no dating experience or even knowledge that blokes want to date her but now a guy has gone and made a move and they are kind of dating, though she seems to be a little on the fence about it." Draco clapped at this

" well there you go, she's not sure if she wants to date this other bloke so just swoop in and take her" Draco couldn't see why he wouldn't, he likes the witch so he should go after her, he's rich has social statues and isn't a bad looking guy. Theo just shook his head " no it wouldn't work my father alone would make it difficult, besides I enjoy her friendship she's always up for talking shit about you guys" he joked Blaise moved his last knight gesturing for Theo to go.

" Well, I think I'd like to get to know her. Invite her to hang out with us" Draco suggested Theo took his turn and laughed " no I'm not letting either of you two near her, might not get to date her but I'm not sharing any more than I have to, besides I'm sure you two will just piss her off" the two boys just laughed

"Well don't blame either of us if we make a move on her unknowingly," Draco said "I'm not too worried" Theo sat back in his seat " checkmate" Blaise called grinning Theo shot to the edge of his chair "fuck".
