Hey everyone so just a heads up the next chapter should be the last chapter of part one of this story. I'm not sure when I will start posting part two. at this time, I'm still playing with it. I'm most likely going to stay with the story of the books like I have been. but I have also been playing with the idea of making the war a bigger factor and having it stretch out longer. make it like a three-year thing or something instead of just the summer and most of 7th year have it be more war-like follow the resistance more. but like I said that's kind of just something I've been playing with. 90% chance it will I'll just continue to follow the books though. but yep just figured I'd let you all know. as always thank you all for taking the time to read my story and I hope you enjoy the chapter.

"Ronald you are going to be late for Divinations, hurry up and get going" Hermione urged as she herself started packing up her stuff. Ginny patted down her parchment getting ready to follow suit. " it's not fair Harry doesn't have to go to class."
"Harry meeting with Dumbordor right now and yes he does. he's most likely already on his way to class right now. you know Dumbordore doesn't approve of missing class he always makes sure their meetings don't interfere with them, now hurry up. it's your last class of the day anyway." Ron shoved his work uncaring into his bag. he got up giving them a wave as he left the library dragging his legs. Ginny and Hermione finished packing their things with more care before also getting up to leave. walking out of the library Hermione turned to her friend playing with her bag strap.
"Well anyway, I have to go."
" oh meeting your Slytherin?"
"yep" Hermione watched as she saw Ginny take a look around the corridor. "he's not here," Ginny just shrugged Hermione started to walk off but noticed that Ginny was following her.
" Are you really trying to follow me?"
" yep, don't care if I have to follow you right into the snake pit I'm going to figure out who your boyfriend is." Hermione just shook her head in bewilderment. Before reaching into her bag and pulling out the map and cloak. " well good luck with that." Hermione broke out in a sprint running as hard as she could. Laughing as she heard Ginny foots steps close behind her. if this had been a race she knew Ginny would easily pass her but seeing as she was trying to follow her she got to pretend that she was able to outrun her much more athletic friend. she cast a quick field charm causing Ginny to run into it. gaining her a few seconds to turn the coroner and throw the cloak over herself. She saw Ginny come running around the corner skeeting to a stop as she took in the empty corridor. She swatted her hands around trying to hit the hidden Hermione after a bit she let out a frustrated groan giving up.
"Fine, fine you win this one Granger. But I will find out who he is." She turn and marched away. Hermione cast a Patronus sending it to Ginny. " go snog your own boyfriend." Hermione pulled out the map making sure that Draco was where he said he would be. " OH, I WILL I'm GOING TO SNOG THE LIFE OUT OF HIM," Ginny yelled down the hall. Hermione couldn't help the laugh that escaped as she headed down to go and meet Draco.
Theo walked down the halls of the boy's dorm. Draco had been acting weird well extra weird the last couple of days. Continuously staying close to him every day and giving sideways glares. He also kept bringing up Theo's girlfriend like he was making sure that he was still interested in her. it had concerned him a bit he was pretty sure Draco wasn't interested in her but he had started to get a little intrusive with the questions.
When Draco asked him to come to his dorm tonight to hang out and talk he agreed planning on bringing up his friend's behavior. Coming to his destination he reached out to grab Draco's dorm door realizing it was locked. He furrowed his brow confused this was the time he said to meet right? Before he let go. Part of the door became transparent giving him a view of what was inside he was also suddenly able to hear what was going on as well. Draco was busy fucking some witch Theos eyes widened as he watch the show before him. he was then even more shocked when he took a good look at the witch Draco was doing. Her large curly hair was very familiar her back was to him so he couldn't see her face but, no he shook his head at the idea. but then he heard her moans as she rode him. He looked from the girl to his friend Theo wasn't sure but it looked like Draco was looking at him, could he see him? his question was answered when Draco smirked at him as he become a lot more vigorous in his action getting louder moans from his partner.
" Hermione say it, I want you to say it again," Draco said to the witch while he kept eye contact with Theo. " Draco, I love you. please keep going Draco." Hermione's voice reached his ears Theo's eyes almost popped out of his head. Draco moved them pushing Hermione down to the bed and giving Theo a short glance at her face. A green cloth over her eyes. Theo stared harder but the door suddenly became solid and soundproof again he saw nothing in front of him except wood. Theo realized that he had let go of the door knob he tried grabbing it again but nothing happened. he pulled out his wand to try and open the door but stopped. Was that really Hermione it looked like her sounded like her, but she hatted Draco she would never fuck him hell Draco would never touch Hermione let alone have sex with her. from what he could see both parties looked like they were enjoying themselves. But they were Draco and Hermione. WHAT THE FUCK WAS GOING ON!
Hermione lay sprawled out on Draco's bed feeling a little exhausted. It had been a while since they went that hard. Hermione was in a state of pure relaxed bliss and exhaustion. Draco came out of the bathroom looking way too pleased with himself he walked over handing her a glass of water. He joined her on the bed throwing his legs over her own. " so why did you want to meet in your dorm anyway our regular room is more convenient."
" yes but I wanted to fuck you in my bed again besides sneaking past everyone is pretty exciting don't you think?" Hermione rolled her eyes but smiled in agreement. It was intense walking through his common room to his dorm under the cloak. Draco teased her by stopping a few times to small talk with some of his housemates sneaky brushing his hand on her thighs. She would return the favor getting to be more daring seeing as no one could see her. running her fingers along his jaw and neck blowing in his ear. Taking maybe a little too much joy at watching him try and keep a straight face. Until they finally made it to his room.
" Well, I don't have a change of clothes here so I'll have to head back up to the tower."
" no, you don't."
" yes, I do it's weird to wear your uniform on the weekend."
"True but I meant I already have some clothes here for you." Hermione raised an eyebrow " really you didn't do anything to them did you, like when you messed with my uniform changing it to Slytherin's colors." Draco let out a bark of laughter " oh come on you looked pretty good."
"really because you were pretty eager to take it off." She said lowly moving so that she was closer to him.
" everything but the tie." he said slowly reaching out to her and tracing his finger along where the tie would lay. " you really enjoyed pulling on it." She watched as his eyes darkened. "maybe we should change yours and put it on you and have a little fun. I think gold and red would look really good" Hermione smirked, "don't push it, Hermione." Hermione didn't bother to try and hid her grin " oh I'm going to make you wear it."
Draco opened his dorm door to head up for lunch. He and Hermione had spent a good chunk of the morning together taking breakfast in his room. An elf delivering it to them. Hermione had scolded him for wasting the poor house elf's time. Going on about how they already have too much work to do and that he shouldn't be using them for personal use. Draco decided it was best to just nod and not tell her that the Malfoys have had a personal elf at Hogwarts pretty much since its founding.
He had tried to convince her to just spend the day in his dorm with him but she had told him that they spent yesterday evening last night and part of the morning together in his room. And she had perfect duties as well as friends to tend to. Draco had hung around his room for about another 20 minutes after she left before he figured he might as well go and be productive as well. He took one step out of the room before he was shoved back into it. Draco was busy focusing on not falling backward as he was forced back into his room. He stared into Theo's eyes the other boy holding him by the collar of his shirt. He looked pissed. Draco gave his old friend a cold smile. " well hello to you too Theo."
" what the fuck do you think you're doing." Draco kept his smile as he grabbed the other boy's hands and pulled them off him. " I can't say I have any idea as to what you're talking about."
" the fuck are you planning, are you trying to use her for your mission or something?" Draco didn't give an answer instead walking over to a chair and sitting. " I have no idea what you are talking about." Theo stormed over to him.
" what the fuck are you planning to do to Hermione!" Draco rested his head on his hand looking bored. " I don't see why that's any of your business." Theo gave a huff and straightened " I don't know what the fuck your planning but Hermione is my friend and I'm not going to let you hurt her." Draco just continued to look at Theo for a second before scoffing.
" friend, really? I had no idea I mean I've never seen you guys hang out or really even talk before so you'll have to forgive me for being taken aback by this information" Draco loudly clapped his hands together " wait is she that girl you were hung up on back in fourth year and having been pinning after for the last couple of years?" Draco gave a fake shock performance Theo curled his hands into fists at his side.
" Well, now I feel bad, if I knew it was her I would have given you a heads up. maybe help you get over her faster." Draco put on a mocking smile. Theo charged at him taking him to the ground along with the chair. The two of them wrestled and threw punches at each other. " you will leave her the fuck alone, she not one of your fucking whores!"
" Why don't you concentrate on your own fucking witch and mind your own fucking business and stop following her like a stupid puppy, she doesn't fucking want you!"
"you don't know a fucking thing about us nor do you know her I don't know why you decided to go after her like this but you're going to stop."
" I know plenty, she's my fucking witch and she fucking loves me." Theo shoved Draco away and scrambled to his feet. Draco got up as well glaring at his friend. " what the fuck do you mean?
Hermione was humming as she worked on her homework. Things have been pretty good and calm. She measured her parchment it was about a foot over the assigned length. She still had a few things she wanted to add before concluding it but she decided she wouldn't go over three feet than what the professor wanted. As much as they liked her work ethic they also wanted her to try and follow the restriction of the assignment. She had been giving a lecture on how too much information and fact can deter from her point or goal. She took a peek at her watch she was meeting Draco tonight she still had an hour till dinner then she would hang with her friends for a bit before going to meet him. she smiled remembering how hard he tried to convince her to take a lazy bed day with him yesterday she was pretty tempted but also had things she had to get done maybe she should clear up her schedule so she and Draco can have such a day. It would have to be soon though finals will be creeping up on them very soon. A shadow suddenly fell over Hermione and her work. She looked up to see Theo hovering over her she stared up at him for a second before looking around to see if anyone else was around. Theo sat next to her placing a couple of things on the table alongside hers. " umm are you sure you want to sit here, someone might see."
" we can just say we're doing an assignment." Theo sat back in his chair and continued to stare at her. she turned back to her work trying to remember where she left off. "so remember when you told me you were dating a Slytherin." Hermione kept working. he like Ginny had been trying to guess who it was she was dating. " whenever we played around guessing who we were seeing I can honestly say I would never have guessed Draco Malfoy was the guy you've been seeing and dating, wow."
Hermione was in shock how did he know, did Draco tell him she knew they were friends so it was possible. "did he tell you?" Hermione looked up but didn't look him in the eye. " in a way yes." She looked at him confused, what did that mean? She tried to look him in the eye but he was the one avoiding her gaze now. she noticed that he had a small bruise on his cheek. she reached out brushing her fingers on it. "what happened to you?" Theo rubbed the back of his neck clearing his throat. " anyway I just wanted to ask and make sure that you were really seeing him, you know willingly and whatnot," Theo avoid her question.
"What did you think I was being blackmailed or something?" Theo gave a little shrug Hermione pressed her lips. It's not like she didn't think people would question her and Draco but it was awkward to actually be questioned about it. Especially seeing as Theo was Draco's friend. Did he really think Draco would do something like that? Hermione shook it off deciding to focus on the positive. this could be good practice for when they told their other friends Theo was the only friend the both of them shared.
" Theo do you want to hang out with Draco and me tonight?" Theos eyebrows disappeared into his hairline " that sounds very unappealing and uncomfortable." Hermione gave a bit of a dry laugh " yes well in truth that's kind of why I want to do it. We both feel really unsure of telling our loved ones about us I know you get why."
"Oh, you have no idea." Theo gestured for her to continue "yeah well anyway I feel like you being both our friends will be a good first step."
" I think the both of you still have a lot of things to figure out on your own first."
"Please, I know it's kind of a lot but I really think having an outside third-person perspective will really help us figure out what we should do and consider going forward." Hermione could feel her face warm a bit this was a bit embarrassing asking for help with her relationship but she really wanted things to work with Draco and she knew Theo would be able to help them think through things that they tended to avoid. And besides slowly having more people hang out with them would make it more comfortable when they do actually come out as a couple. Theo let out a long sigh but nodded. Hermione smiled telling him to meet them later tonight in Draco's room.
Hermione took another uncomfortable sip of water. She Draco and Theo was sitting in Draco's room. And she wanted to scream this was all way too unbearable the worst part was that she asked. No begged for it. When she entered Draco's room with Theo behind her she literally saw Draco turn from relaxed to shocked then settled into frustration sprinkled with condescending politeness. She wasn't really sure how to describe what kind of Draco he had settled on. But she found his every interaction with Theo really uncomfortable. she also noticed that he also sported a bruise or two on his face, did the two of them fight?
" Well, what should we talk about now, oh again sorry for the lack of drinks but I was really just expecting Hermione tonight so I'm sure you understand." Draco smiled pulling Hermione a little closer to him. he had been overly touchy tonight. Theo just hummed in response. " so you guys have been friends since you were little right, what was your guy's childhood like?" Hermione blurted out a random question hoping to get the ball rolling. Both of the boys looked at her.
" I think a better question is how you and Theo here started hanging out." Draco smiled looking between Theo and Hermione. " oh well." Hermione started but was interrupted.
" she was my nap/snuggle buddy during fourth year." Hermione snapped her head to Theo shocked Draco's grip tighten just a bit. " don't say it like that, I notched he was having a hard time and lacking sleep so I introduced him to aroma therapy and helped him relax a bit. So he could sleep better and then we started talking and found that we have things we like in common and that just turned into friendship." Hermione explained Theo just continued to sit smiling at the blonde. Draco was silent for a bit seeming to think. " lavender oil."
Hermione pressed her lips not understanding. " yes she would give me light messages with it to help me relax ." Theos smile grew a little more Hermione tried to glance at Draco without turning her head. They seemed to have something going on that she just wasn't getting. " yeah I admit I still use it, it is Hermione approve after all."
" yes, I remember smelling it on her back then, though she really likes the perfume I bought her so she doesn't really use it anymore. I also use to use the oil a bit after her recommendation, but now it is more relaxing to smell Hermione herself while she sleeps next to me."
" Draco!" Hermione couldn't believe he just said that and he was such a liar she could walk over to his bed right now and she would be able to smell the lavender on his pillow. " hm?" was his innocent response Hermione just shook her head.
" Theo, so being the first to know about us do you have any questions?" Hermione asked, it was best to just change the subject. Theo put down his glass " well how did this even become a thing I mean as far as I can remember you guys only ever yelled or glared at each other. So what started it."
"she snogged me back in third year, after that anytime we fought we would just end up making out and over the years it grew." Draco shrugged Hermione's mouth was open that little liar. "first off you kissed me mister and it wasn't quite like he said for one I ended things with him during our fourth year."
" then I shagged her so good earlier this year that we ended up here." Theo spat out the drink he had just taken. Hermione shot up " ok no, well this was an interesting first test." Hermione clapped her hands together "notes Draco don't fucking tell people about our private activities!" she marched to the door casting a quick disillusionment spell before swinging open the door and leaving. The two boys sat in silence until they were sure she was gone. " I don't think you're going to get shagged tonight mate."
"shut up." Theo just smirked as he leaned over taking Draco's fire whiskey.
Later that night Draco, Blaise, and Theo retired to his room after dinner. They had just informed their friend about Hermione. Blaise was very shocked gaping like a fish before closing finally closing his mouth.
" so wait, you." He pointed a finger at Draco "are dating Granger, Gryffindor, one-third of Potter's golded tiro group?" Theo took a sip of his firewhiskey watching as Blaise wore a confused smile. Draco didn't answer and instead just swirled his own glass. " well hell I knew Granger was something making friends with Theo and all but now I learn that she got the Slytherin prince twisted around her finger." Draco's face twisted " who calls me that?" Theo snorted into his glass at his friend's clear distaste for the nickname.
" I'm guessing she doesn't know anything?" both Theo and Draco looked down into their glasses. Blaise let out a breath " well that does really make things complicated." The three boys were quiet for a bit. " so are you going to tell us what your plan for all of this is?" Blaise asked Theo looked at Draco also wanting to know. Draco took a sip from his glass. " for now we just get through the year, it will be best for her not to know too much." Theo scoffed at this Draco glared but continued "once the school year is done I can convince her that it will be best to lay low and go into hiding, I will have to figure out what to do after but for now getting her someplace safe will be the biggest priority." Draco noticed Theo's mouth twitch just a bit when he had mentioned putting her in a safe place. it was true he had taken the idea from the raven-haired boy. In truth, he hadn't even thought of that too worried about her finding out about him or getting hurt.
" And you think she's just going to just agree?" Theo raised an eyebrow.
" I'm sure I will find a way to convince her."
" mmm well, I have to voice my concerns. I'm very certain she has no intention of running or going into hiding and well when she learns that your…" Theo trailed off shrugging. " are you planning on telling Hermione Theodor?" the question came out slow and threaten. " not outright but I have no intention of lying to her so if she ask if you're a Death Eater then I will tell the truth."
"oh really, tell me is this your new plan to gain brownie points with her, here I thought you had given your loving support as a FREIND to my and her relationship." Draco's voice was light but he was very clearly tense. " I did but I don't like to lie to my friends, just as I protect and support you I will continue doing the same for you and her." the two stared at each other Theo took a sip not looking away from Draco.
Blaise's eyes shifted between the two. "right ok so Granger is not to know about the whole death eater thing. And we just need to convince her to leave behind her friends and loved ones to be placed in hiding, well simple enough." Blaise clapped his hands together trying to break the tension. " your mission makes things hard. if she finds out everything she won't go anywhere with you, in fact I'm pretty sure she will curse you or get Potter to do it again." Theo said.
" as long as my plan works she won't find out at least not until I collect her when things have settled and are safe."
" What is your plan?"
" Just help me keep an eye on her and make sure she is safe." Blaise stood and stretched " sure thing buddy, so you think Grangers in the library?"
"why?"
" Well, I just figured I'd go and talk with her that or snog her. we'll see what happens. " The other two boys' heads shot up at the Italian boy walking to the door. "Excuse me!"
"well, clearly I missed something I mean she basically got the both of you wrapped around her finger soooo." Blaise grabbed the handle but found that his whole body was suddenly restrained by green and blue ropes made of light. he made sure to fall forward so that he was able to hold himself up against the door. Blaise was shaking with laughter as he peaked over his shoulder seeing that both of his friends had jumped to their feet with their wands out. " not funny Blaise."
