In the Sandmuth Arena, Sand Realm Dragons were waiting for the tournament.
"Welcome, everyone, to the Tournament Of The Sand Source!" Erosion said.
Then the Sand Realm Dragons cheered.
"I appreciate all of you being here today because we have some captives you've never seen before and others that you've known well before! So, let's start the first round of the tournament!" Erosion said.
Then the Sand Realm Dragons cheered.
"Well, then, on the left side of the arena, you will see seven captives: two that you've never seen before and five that you've known well so please give a welcome to them and those are Spyro, Whirlwind, Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap!" Erosion said as the gate opened up.
Then Spyro, Whirlwind, Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap walked on the bridge until they got to the Sandmuth Battle Arena.
"Look! There's Ronald and Cynder! Hope you can show us that amazing teamwork again! And that goes for you too, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap! And we hope that you can impress us, Spyro and Whirlwind!" The Sand Realm Dragons said.
"Wow, Erosion wasn't kidding at all, I can't wait for the first round to begin." Spyro said.
"Me either." Whirlwind said.
"Well, it looks like we're all eager for the tournament to begin, so let's introduce their opponent: the driver of ground, the guard of pain…The Sand Car!" Erosion said.
Then the Sand Car entered the Sandmuth Battle Arena.
Then Spyro, Whirlwind, Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap made their angry faces.
