Chapter 126: Day Three of the Grand Magic Games
"I hope that Yukino is going to be okay" stated Sorano after she finished reading the letter Yukino left them before leaving herself.
Dante ended up staying the night with Sorano and Yukino after an entire night of fucking the two sisters. When Dante and Sorano woke up, they saw that Yukino was missing and only a note was left behind. The note Yukino left them told them that she needed some alone time to find who she was without a guild. Turning his attention to Sorano, Dante started to speak.
"She'll be fine. I think Yukino can handle herself fine enough" responded Dante in a reassuring tone. He understood why Yukino needed some time to discover herself. After what her former guild did to her, Dante could understand what Yukino must be feeling. Seeing Sorano nod her head in understanding, Dante continued to speak.
"Remember to note says she will come back when she is ready. When Yukino does come back, I'll talk with Master Markov about letting her join Fairy Tail" stated Dante with a smile. Smiling back at her master, Sorano started to speak.
"I just hope that is soon. If Yukino's experience is anything like mine, then having a family with Fairy Tail will be a welcome change" responded Sorano. Seeing the time, Dante knew that he had to get going. While he wanted to start his morning playing with Sorano, there wasn't any time to do that. Quickly dressing himself, Dante then walked through the streets with Sorano as they headed towards the arena. Soon they were standing at the arena entrance, Sorano had to part ways with Dante here since he had to enter a special entrance for competitors.
"Good luck today master" stated Sorano in a loving tone before she leaned forward and captured Dante's lips with her own. While Sorano melted into the loving kiss, she just hoped that her master would not have to fight or compete today so he can fully recover from his fight with Mira. After a short moment, Dante leaned back from Sorano's sweet lips and started to speak.
"Thanks Sorano. I see you after the games today" responded Dante with a warm smile. Smiling back at her master Sorano placed a short loving kiss on his lips before she walked away. Dante then walked through the special entrance and soon was standing beside the rest of his team. Looking at his team, Dante smiled at Wendy who had finally recovered and was back on the team.
"Geez it's about time you got here. Where the hell were you last night man" asked Gray as Dante stood next to him. Dante laughed slightly to himself before he answered Gray's question.
"Sorry about that, I spent the night with Sorano and Yukino" responded Dante with a smile. Gray sighed thinking he shouldn't have asked. Turing his attention towards Wendy, Dante started to speak to her.
"Nice to see you on the team Wendy. I know you are going to kick major ass today" sated Dante with a warm smile. Wendy blushed at her master's words as she leaned forward and placed a loving kiss on his lips. Smiling into the kiss, Dante eagerly returned it as he enjoyed the sweet taste of Wendy's lips on his own. After a short while Wendy leaned back in order to speak.
"Thanks master but the truth is I'm really nervous. I don't want to let any of you down" responded Wendy in a shy tone.
"Nonsense Wendy, you are really strong and don't forget you have seven years of training over the rest of us. You are going to be great out there, I can feel it" responded Dante in an excited tone. Smiling back at her master, Wendy was grateful for his kind words. The rest of the team took the time to reassure Wendy, telling her that she should not be so nervous. Dante then noticed that Erza had a somewhat downcast look on her face, pulling off to the side Dante started to speak to her.
"Is everything alright Erza? You look worried about something" asked Dante worried that Jellal discovered something bad about the supposed source of dark magic that lingered each year during the Grand Magic games.
"I met Millianna last night; she is a member of Mermaid Heel now" responded Erza in a worried tone. At first Dante smiled at this news, he had missed his sexy cat girl. Seeing the look on Erza's face though, Dante sensed a but coming.
"It sounds like there is something more than just that" responded Dante in a curious tone. Nodding her head, Erza started to speak.
"Yes, there is" responded Erza before she started to explain to Dante. Dante frowned as he heard about Millianna's obsession with revenge. He didn't like the sound of such a sweet girl like Millianna being consumed with hate, but he could understand. Sighing with exhaustion, Dante then started to speak when Erza was finished explaining everything to him.
"That is troubling, we are going to have to keep it even more of a secret that we are working with Jellal. I'll try and have a chat with Millianna tonight, see if I can do anything to ease her troubled mind" responded Dante. Erza smiled at her master, thankful that he was going to try and help.
Soon after this the announcer stated that the third day of the Grand Magic games was about to begin. The competition portion of the day was called Pandemonium. The name of the competition didn't give any clues as to what would be required to win. Despite not knowing what the competition would entail, Dante knew that the team needed a win so he turned his head towards the person that could all but guarantee a victory.
"How about it Erza? I think it's time you show everyone why you are queen of the fairies" asked Dante with a smile. Smiling back at her master, Erza then responded.
"Very well, I will compete then" responded Erza in her typical serious tone before using her magic to change into her armor. Smiling as Erza made her way towards the middle of the open arena, Dante thought that they had this game already won. Looking at the rest of the competitors Dante noticed that Cana must be substituting for Lisanna since she was also standing in the middle of the arena.
Once all of the competitors were gathered, the mascot started to explain the rules of the game. Dante was amazed as a large fortress was materialized in front of everyone, that must have required an unbelievable amount of magic Dante thought. After the mascot explained the rules, Dante thought they were simple enough. Although hearing about the rules, Dante thought of a way to completely break the game if someone was crazy or strong enough. While Dante was thinking this Erza stepped forward since she was the first one to make a challenge.
"I choose to challenge all one hundred" stated Erza with confidence in her voice. While everyone else was stunned thinking they must have heard Erza wrong, Dante along with Natsu and Gray were laughing their asses off. Dante was glad that Erza found the same way to break the game like he thought off.
"W-what?! Erza's not serious is she" asked Wendy in a concerned and shocked tone. Wiping some tears away as he continued to laugh, Dante then responded.
"This is freaking great! Erza is about to completely break this entire game" responded Dante between laughs. He wasn't worried at all about Erza, he knew that she would handle this challenge without an issue.
Erza then stepped into the conjured fortress; one hundred monsters were waiting inside for her. She quickly silenced the crowd as Erza demonstrated her strength to them. One by one the monsters fell to her as Erza continued to fight with everything she had. Dante was smiling and cheering the entire time as Erza battled. In almost the blink of an eye Erza had defeated more than half of the one hundred monsters.
The crowd was silent as Erza continued to fight against such impossible odds. It was clear from the stunned look on the announcers faces that they were not expecting one person to break the game the way Erza just had. Despite the fatigue getting to Erza, she continued to fight until only one monster remained. Standing strong against the giant S-class monster, Erza charged at it with her sword raised high. Soon Erza was standing victorious, all one hundred monsters were vanquished.
"I don't believe it! Erza Scarlet has defeated all one hundred monsters! Fairy Tail team a gets first place" shouted the announcer. The crowd went wild as they cheered for Erza. Despite the crowds loud cheering, it paled in comparison as the entirety of Fairy Tail were on their feet cheering loudly with pride for Erza.
After this it had to be decided how the rest of the teams were going to be placed. It was decided that a simple measure of strength by hitting a magic power finder. Millianna went first and scored a respectable 365 points. After that Nobarly from Quatro Cerberus and Hibiki from Blue Pegasus took their turns, and both fell short of Millianna's score. Thinking that Millianna must have gotten much stronger since he last seen her, Dante couldn't help but smile as he watched her celebrate having the highest score.
Millianna's celebration was cut short however when Orga from Saber Tooth stepped forward. Charing up his lighting magic, Orga shot a devastating and earth shaking attack at the magical power finder. The crowd was stunned as Orga scored 3825 points. Dante swore at this, he knew that Saber Tooth was going to be hard to beat but that sort of strength was more than ten times the second highest score.
Just like Millianna, Orga's celebration was cut short as Jura stepped forward. Using an earth shattering attack, Jura scored 8544 points. While the rest of the crowd was stunned at this unbelievable score, Dante just smiled. He wasn't that shocked about Jura; he knew that he was a Wizard Saint for a reason. Seeing how strong Jura was, Dante could not wait to see which of the two of them was the strongest Wizard Saint. After Jura, Obra from Raven Tail went and scored only four points. Thinking that something was odd about this, Dante started to speak to the rest of the team.
"I'm sure that was intentional. That guy has to be stronger than that, he must not want to show his magical power yet" stated Dante as the rest of his team nodded their heads in understanding.
After Obra it was finally Cana's turn. Fairy Tail looked nervously at Cana as she walked forward, it appeared she was already hammered. Suddenly Cana smiled as she revealed Fairy Glitter on her arm. The entirety of Fairy Tail was stunned as Cana charged up the legendary spell. After charging the spell, Cana shot it towards the magical power finder. The entire arena was consumed as the magical power finder shattered into a million pieces. When the smoke cleared a score of 9999 was displayed as Cana stood victorious while she shouted to the crowd.
"There's no stopping us! We've just started to rock your world! Fairy Tail will be number one again" shouted Cana as the crowd went wild. Just like with Erza, the entirety of Fairy Tail were shouting their lungs out, proud of Cana.
After this, the battle portion of the third day began. The first couple battles went mostly like Dante figured they would. When it was time for Fairy Tail team b to fight, Dante was interested to see how Laxus was going to do. While Dante knew better than most how strong Laxus was, he was nervous since he would have to fight against his father's guild. Watching as the battle started, Dante along with the rest of Fairy Tail was shocked to see Laxus easily being overwhelmed.
"What the hell" asked Dante in a shocked tone as he watched Laxus get pummeled with apparent ease.
Fairy Tail was silent as they watched Alexei trounce Laxus with ease. No one could believe it even though it was happening right in front of them. Laxus was one of Fairy Tail's strongest wizards, always about to match Dante's own power but none of that mattered right now. Seeing his rival being easily beaten, Dante shouted loud enough for Laxus to hear them.
"What the hell do you think you are doing Laxus! Fight back, this is pathetic" yelled Dante in an angry tone. After Dante said this, Laxus started to land a few good hits but it was obvious Alexei still had control of the fight. Watching the fight continue, Dante started to speak to the rest of his team.
"Something isn't right. No way can Laxus be beaten this easily" stated Dante as the other's nodded their heads.
As the fight continued, Dante and the other's were shocked when everything suddenly changed. The Alexei and Laxus they were watching vanished into thin air. In their place was Laxus and the entire Raven Tail team on the ground beaten. Seeing this, Dante and the rest of the team except for Natsu knew what had happened. While Dante was angry at Raven Tail for trying to cheat, he couldn't help but laugh at the fact Laxus had just beaten their entire team by himself.
"Haha good job Laxus. That's showing them not to mess with Fairy Tail" stated Dante as he laughed joy as Raven Tail was escorted away. Shortly after this it was declared that Raven Tail was disqualified from the Grand Magic games. After this it was finally time for Wendy's match. Turning to Wendy, Dante placed a loving kiss on her lips before he started to speak.
"We all believe in you Wendy! Show everyone the power of the sky dragon slayer" stated Dante with a wide smile. Wendy smiled at everyone as she nodded her head with a determined look in her eyes. Wendy then made her way into the arena, she was facing Sherria the girl from Lamia Scale that had the same mannerisms as Wendy.
Dante smiled as he watched Wendy stand, determined and ready to fight. Sparing a glance at Sherria, Dante smiled as he enjoyed the sexy sight of her womanly body. Sherria was the same age as Wendy and looked amazing in her cute outfit. As he admired Sherria, Dante wondered if Sherry would help him claim Sherria for his harem. The announcer soon started the match, bringing Dante out of these lewd thoughts for the moment.
The match was a surprising one since it was revealed that Sherria was a sky god slayer, matching Wendy's sky dragon slayer magic. The two sky maidens stunned the ground as they both fought their hardest. Dante had to shield his face with his arms as powerful gusts of wind blew from Wendy and Sherria as they continued to fight. The entire match Wendy and Sherria fought, neither willing to give up. Eventually the time limit ran out and the match was declared a draw, both teams getting five points. As Dante clapped along with the rest of his guild, he knew that Wendy would see this as a failure. While Dante was so proud of Wendy, he smiled to himself. Dante thought of the perfect way to cheer Wendy up.
