Perched on a rooftop across from the New York History Museum street, Demona watched the guards close the museum, locking and barring all the doors. Demona leaped from the roof with a determined grin on her face as the night guards were oblivious of her.

Inside the museum, the Captain of the Night Watch was briefing two recent recruits, who are Athena and Elisa undercover, on the proper procedure.

"Alright," The captain began, "The front doors are locked, the laser grid is on, and you go patrol inside."

The two walked into the museum as the captain shouted one final note at them.

"And don't get too close to the displays!"

In the darkened halls of the museum, the recruit passed by several historic exhibits including an ancient Incan statue and a large silver mirror. Elisa stopped in front of the mirror, striking a dramatic pose just for the fun of it and Athena chuckled. As they did this, they heard commotion off in the distance before they quickly went to investigate.

Demona tossed a male security guard across the museum, where he hit a bench and slumped. She then turned just in time to see Athena and Elisa aiming their guns at her.

"Police!" Elisa shouted, "Don't move!"

Demona's eyes glow red as she snarled, recognizing the recruits as Athena and Elisa.

"You, most useless member of a craven, puny race!" Demona yelled at Elisa before asking Athena, "My daughter, do you think you and this puny human can stop me?"

"Probably not," Goliath called out as he and Etrigan stepped out of the shadows and stood behind Elisa and Athena, "But we can."

Demona began backing away slowly, walking past the large mirror from before and up to the Incan statue. Demona scooped up the statue, hurling it at Elisa. Goliath quickly intercepted the large statue, placing it upright as Demona made a speedy retreat. The four followed closely behind her, only for Demona to attempt to topple another exhibit. Etrigan caught it before it shattered, giving Demona the time she needed to grab a spear from the Native American exhibit and leap out the window.

Following her out the window and into the courtyard of the museum, Goliath, Athena, Etrigan, and Elisa gave chase, leaving the museum unguarded. With all the guards out of the picture, two men in ski masks slipped through the skylight, sliding down in front of the large silver mirror.

"I'll say one thing for the lady," One thief commented, "She does her homework. Let's go."

The two thieves worked fast, wrapping the mirror safely in a tarp before binding it into place. Soon enough, they made off with the mirror.

Meanwhile, Demona continued to run, Goliath, Athena, Etrigan, and Elisa hot on her tail. She made it to the museum's outdoor display of an Egyptian monolith before turning to face her pursuers, spear in hand. Goliath and Etirgan bared their fangs as Elisa and Athena readied their guns.

With a cruel smile, Demona tossed the spear, aiming right at Elisa. Acting on pure instinct, Goliath shoved Elisa out of the way, catching the spear seconds before she was skewered. Demona used these scant seconds to climb to the top of the monolith, using it as her launchpad into the sky. As Demona disappeared into the night, Goliath and Etrigan went to pursue her, but Elisa and Athena stopped them.

"Let her go for now," Elisa suggested, "It's not like we can take her to jail without answering a lot of complicated questions."

"Don't worry. We'll get her next time," Athena said,

Goliath let out a sigh of disappointment but relaxed his stance, "At least Demona did not get the mirror."

Across town, a red van pulled up to a large imposing gate with the words 'Private. KEEP OUT' written across them. Rolling down the driver's side window, one of the thieves pressed a button on the gate's speaker. A security camera focused on his face.

"Who is it?" Demona asked in a demanding tone as her voice called through the speaker

"Oberon sent me, "He replied.

There was a loud click as the gate opened, revealing a large, and somewhat gothic, house. The two thieves pulled the van up to the front of the house, carrying the wrapped mirror up to the front porch and leaning it next to the front door.

"Who lives here anyway, Dracula's daughter?" The second thief asked.

A snarl from a gargoyle-shaped figurehead on the front door silenced him. The first thief placed his hand on the other one's shoulder.

"Relax," He told him, "It's okay. I've dealt with this client before."

An envelope slid from the figurehead's mouth and the first thief grabbed it.

"Take your money and go," Demona ordered them through the figurehead, "While you still can."

The thieves took the envelope and left without another word, leaving the strange silver mirror

Later on, Demona stood in front of the mirror with iron chains wrapped around it in a dungeon mixed with a wizard's chambers.

"So far my plans have been thwarted," Demona muttered to herself, "One after the other. But tonight, I take control."

She lifted a silver bell, ringing it four times using a golden ring before reciting a spell.

"Cum aescerat argentum et aurum involare."

Demona then picked up a small white feather, which she blew towards the mirror. The second it touched the glass, the mirror rippled like water, absorbing the feather

"Postea Puck ad speculum Titania penetrare!"

The Mirror begins to glow with bright green light, illuminating the entire room. A swirling figure began to appear in the glass through the light, growing bigger as if it was coming closer. Finally, the figure seemed to push through the glass of the mirror before the light died completely.

Kneeling on the ground in front of the mirror, arms bound in the very chains once wrapped around its silver frame, was a small elven figure with long, pointed ears. He was dressed in brightly colored clothing. He looked up at Demona through long, thick locks of white hair with an extremely displeased frown.

In the Clock Tower, Brooklyn, Broadway, Lexington, Jason, Goliath, Hudson, sitting in his chair, and Bronx were gathered around the TV. Soon, Elisa and Athena entered the clock tower through the wooden hatch and walked over to the gargoyles and Jason.

"Well, we got bad news," Athena announced, "Captain Chavez just confirmed it. Demona was a decoy. Thieves took the mirror while we were chasing her around the park."

"I should have expected such deviousness from her," Goliath said.

"So how bad is this?" Elisa asked. "What can she do with an antique mirror?"

"It's not just a mirror," Athena told her, "It's Titania's Mirror. Titania, Queen of the third race."

"Third race?" Elisa asked.

"You know, Humans, Gargoyles, and Oberon's children," Broadway explained.

"I thought everybody knew this," Lexington said.

"Yeah, that guy Shakespeare wrote a play about them. A Midsummer Night's Dream," Brooklyn said.

"Scotsmen call them "the Fair Folk." The Vikings call them "Dark Elves." They are changelings, shapeshifters, creatures of pure magic," Goliath explained to Elisa, "And their possessions, like the mirror, are vessels of great power."

"Wait, wait, wait. Shapeshifters, elves, fairies. You mean they're real?" Elisa asked.

"As real as I am, if the stories are true," Hudson said.

Puck struggled against the thick iron chains pinning his upper arms to his sides, his hands and forearms were still free to move, but it was no use. Sighing in anger, Puck ceased struggling and crossed his arms as best he could.

"Is this how you treat all your guests?" He asked in an annoyed tone.

"Anywho may betray me," Demona replied, "And you are no guest. You serve the human, and now you can serve me."

"Serving humans is fun. They have a sense of humor," Puck said with a smirk before it went away as he crossed his arms again, "You have none."

"Perhaps not," Demona replied, grabbing Puck by his chains and lifting him into the air, "But I have you."

In the clock tower, the gargoyles, Elisa, Athena, and Jason were still in conversation about the mirror.

"Hey, wouldn't it be great to be a shapeshifter?" Brooklyn asked, suddenly.

"We wouldn't have to hide," Lexington said, "We could fit in anywhere."

"We could find new friends, maybe even love," Broadway added.

"Be careful what you wish for, lad," Hudson advised them.

"Hudson is right," Athena spoke, "Sometimes what we want is not always what we need. A wise friend once said that who we are is what we are meant to be."

Back in Demona's home, Demona stood with her arms crossed watching Puck with annoyance.

"Well, let's just get this over with, shall we?" Puck asked. He flew around the room, "How can I be of service? Hmm? Out with it. I haven't got all night."

Puck came to a stop in front of Demona with a smirk on his face.

"You've got all Millennium, if I choose," Demona said, swinging at Puck, who moved away. She returned to her thoughts, "I'm too vulnerable during the day. I don't want to turn to stone anymore."

"Of course, you want to stroll down 5th avenue in the sunshine. I'm sure you'll fit right in," Puck said, in a sarcastic voice.

"I could if there were no blasted humans!" Demona shouted, swiping at Puck again. Suddenly, an idea came to her, one that made her smile evilly, "Yes, Puck! I want you to get rid of the humans. All of them!"

"Does this look like Aladdin's Lamp?" Puck asked, gesturing to the mirror, "I have limits, after all," Puck's face dawn a clever little smile as he tilted his head at Demona, "What is it you really want?"

He touched the mirror and a green light came from the glass and a swirl until an image of Goliath appeared.

"How quaint," He mused, "After all these centuries you're still carrying a torch. Well, if that's what you want, I can make him love you again. Piece of cake, given your charming personality."

Puck rested his head against the mirror as Elisa strolled into the mirror's scene. She leaned on the reflection of Goliath with a loving expression.

"That's it!" Demona snarled, her eyes glowing red with anger, "That's what I want! If you cannot get rid of all the humans, then at least rid me of that human! Elisa Maza!"

Puck gave Demona a mischievous grin as he mentally replayed her request in his head

"Did you say, 'that human' or 'that human'?" He questioned, emphasizing the alternate words before shrugging, "Oh, never mind, I'll figure it out. This just might be fun after all."

Puck flew over to the mirror, which now had an image of Elisa alone. Puck closed his eyes and his hair started floating.

"Thy sight Demona doth offend, so Puck will hasten to amend. Begone Elisa, human born, and be no more as you were formed!"

A bright green light shot out of Puck's eyes and mouth, hitting the mirror where it was seemingly absorbed, sending the spell's energy after its target.

"Mirror or no mirror," Elisa said, "Demona's no match for the eight of us together. We just have to wait until she makes her move."

Suddenly, Elisa was engulfed in a bright green light, she was lifted off the ground and pulled into the center of the Clock Tower. Then, Elisa was engulfed in an explosion of light that blinded the Gargoyles, Athena, and Jason. When the light faded, Elisa was not what she once was. Her skin had a more orange tinge to it. Her eyebrows were gone, replaced by slight horns. Her hands now claws. She was taller, with legs like a gargoyle, tail, and she had a large pair of gargoyle wings.

Everyone stared in utter fascination and confusion as Goliath slowly approached her.

"Elisa…?" He said softly.

Elisa's eyes opened before she met Goliath's eyes with a wide smile and hugged him in utter joy.

"Goliath, this is wonderful," She said happily. "You've been turned into a gargoyle."

Goliath gently pulled Elisa off him, more confused than before, "What?"

Back in Demona's manor, Puck hovered about an inch above the ground as Demona approached the mirror, surprised to see the image of Elisa has vanished.

"Did it work?" She demanded.

"The human Elisa Maza is no more," Puck replied.

"Then let's do the same to every human in the city!" Demona declared.

"You don't know what you're asking," Puck warned her, sighing, "Believe me."

Demona grabbed the front of Puck's chains again, forcing him to meet her eye.

"Is it possible?" She demanded, shaking him frantically, almost maniacal motions, "Tell me, can it be done?!"

"Yes…" He answered finally, "But not from here."

Back at the Clock Tower, Goliath was trying to explain to Elisa what happened.

"We've always been gargoyles," He told her, gesturing to the clan who was still staring wide-eyed with jaws on the floor, "It is you who has been changed. Probably by Demona and the Mirror."

"I've always been a gargoyle," She replied with a smirk, revealing gargoyle fangs, "I think I'd know if I wasn't."

"Then how do you explain me and Jason?" Athena asked as she and Jason stepped forward.

Elisa looked at her friends and gasped, "What happened? Jason, I get because he transforms into Etrigan, but how did you get turned into a human?"

"Try to remember, Elisa," She insisted. "You, Jason, and I are humans. Not gargoyles. We've always been humans."

"No, I'm a gargoyle," Elisa replied, "Goliath, tell her."

Goliath didn't say anything, but he took Elisa's hand, leading her out onto the balcony. The others followed close behind.

"How did we first meet?" Goliath asked her.

"I fell off a skyscraper, and you glided down and caught me," Elisa answered.

"Think," He said, "If you've always had wings, why did you need me to catch you?"

"Uh, I can't glide with these," She muttered, looking at her wings confused, "Can I?"

Goliath smiled, "Yes, you can."

Goliath puts his arm around Elisa's waist and the two jumped off the balcony, both spreading their wings as if it was instinct. Everyone ran to the balcony to watch, still in awe of what had occurred. The rest of the clan jumped off the balcony to follow Goliath and Elisa. Jason quickly turned into Etrigan before picking up Athena and following the others.

The top floor of one of the towers went off like a beacon as green lightning crackled above it. In a flash of light, Titania's mirror appeared on the open balcony on the top floor. The glass rippled as Puck glided through it, Demona following behind him holding the end of his chain like a leash.

"Ah…" Puck sighed happily as he gazed out into the night with thundering clouds in the distance, "What a lovely view."

Demona yanked on the chain, "We are not here for you to enjoy the sights."

Puck had a look of annoyance on his face but put his feelings away before flying back toward Demona, "Oh, all right. I just need to muster my forces, so to speak. This may take a while."

Flying over the city, Goliath couldn't keep himself from staring at Elisa. He enjoyed seeing the smile on her face.

"I never realized, when you were human, how beautiful you are," Goliath commented.

"You mean, you thought I was ugly?" Elisa asked with a playful smile.

Goliath blushed for a minute, his tongue tripping over the words, "Well- Uhm- Careful! Updraft!"

The two gargoyles recovered from the sudden change in the wind, and Elisa couldn't help but laugh as she still held onto Goliath's arm.

"I can't believe I've never done this before!" She cheered.

"You couldn't," Goliath told her, "You were human. Look."

Elisa looked down to see the many citizens of New York walking through the streets. She gasped in absolute shock, pointing down at them.

"Oh no!" She cried out. "Look at them all! It wasn't just Athena!"

"Perhaps we should land so we can talk," He suggested.

They landed on a nearby rooftop and were quickly joined by the remaining gargoyles, Etrigan, who turned back into Jason, and Athena.

"Did you see?" Elisa asked the others in a panicked voice, "Everyone in Manhattan's been turned into a... a human!"

"No, no, no, no, no…" Goliath said, shaking his head in defeat.

"Look!" Athena shouted as she pointed off into the distance.

Everyone turned to see crackling, green electricity from the top of one of the world trade center towers.

On the top of the tower, Puck was spinning like a top, his form practically buzzing with energy. He slowly came to a stop, his hair raised high in the air and his eyes glowing brighter than ever.

"All humans on this concrete isle, Demona finds your presence vile. So do you now as I command, and be not woman, child, nor man!"

Releasing the power once more, it shot into the mirror, then used the spire of the building as a focal point before sending out hundreds upon hundreds of green streaks of lightning all over the city.

A streak of lightning came straight for the rooftop where the gargoyles were, striking Athena and Jason straight in the chest.

The light blinded the gargoyles and Elisa. Soon, the light faded. Everyone opened their eyes to see Etrigan standing in place of Jason, but the real shock came when they saw Athena. Her eyebrows were gone, replaced by slight horns. Her hands are now claws. She was taller, with legs like a gargoyle, a tail, and she had a large pair of gargoyle wings, except hers did not have little claws on them. Her skin is a mixture of blue and green.

Etrigan walked over to his wife and placed his hands on her shoulder, "My love, you and I have been changed by the mirror's power, I a demon and you a gargoyle. But how we remember our human selves is a garboil."

Athena thinks for a moment before concluding, "It must be because of our shapeshifting abilities. I must admit, it will be nice for a change to shapeshift without being exhausted from keeping the form and without the use of glamors."

"What was that?" Elisa asked, referring to the light.

"It can only be Demona," Hudson concluded.

The gargoyles jumped off the roof and flew toward the tower. Etrigan and Athena stayed behind with Elisa.

"Wait!" Elisa called before she tried to follow but looked down and became dizzy, "Whoa... Uhh!"

Elisa steps away from the ledge and composes herself.

"Stay here, Elisa. Etrigan and I will follow the guys," Athena said, "We'll be back soon."

Etrigan and Athena jumped over the ledge and followed the gargoyles to the tower.

At the tower, Demona stands on the railing looking at the city in triumph.

"Take me to see my empty city," Demona said.

Demona looks over her shoulder to see Puck lying on the ground unconscious. She hopped down from the railing and walks over before poking him with her tail.

When they neared the tower, Hudson tackles Demona to the ground. Demona roars and kicks Hudson off her.

"Your too late, old soldier," Demona said as Hudson got up. The Gargoyles, Etrigan, and Athena land on the building.

"You can't fight all of us, lass," Hudson told her.

Demona's eyes land on Athena and her eyes widen when she realizes who she was. Happiness could be briefly seen in Demona's eyes before she picks up Puck along with the mirror.

"Curse you, Puck. This is no time to sleep," Demona said before she tosses the mirror off the side.

"No! The Mirror!" Athena shouted.

Hudson runs to the side and dives after the Mirror. The rest of the clan takes off after Demona. Hudson catches the Mirror a few feet before it would have hit the ground. The clan flew over the street and saw a most peculiar sight. All humans in the city were turned into Gargoyles.

Demona wrapped her wings around a sleeping Puck as she dove for a subway tunnel. The clan attempted to pursue, but the narrow tunnels quickly tripped them up as their wings scraped along the walls. Goliath, Etrigan, and Athena landed in front of the tunnels before wrapping their wings around themselves. They gave chase while the rest of the clan picked themselves up.

Demona landed on the opposite side of the subway tracks just as a train emptied. She uses the crowd to her advantage and slips aboard the subway before getting away. Unfortunately for the clan, they were unable to find Demona due to the crowd of gargoyles.

"This is like trying to find a needle in a haystack," Broadway said.

They all starred at the transformed gargoyles. A couple of female "gargoyles" walked back the group, shooting a wink at Brooklyn.

"This is too weird…" Lexington commented. "Kinda cool, but weird."

"With Demona involved, it's more than weird," Goliath told them, "It's dangerous."

Hidden in a back alley in downtown Manhattan, Demona angrily tossed Puck to the ground, which roused the fae.

"I wanted you to destroy the humans, not give them the gift of being a gargoyle! Change the gargoyles to humans!" Demona shouted, her eyes bright red with rage.

Puck sat up, leaning against a car, "I must… regain… my strength…"

Demona grabbed him by his chains, she pulled him to his feet. She snarls, "I've noticed you're not too tired to make yourself invisible to the crowd."

"Ok. Ok," Puck grumbled. "I was just catching my breath."

Puck looks over to the side mirror of the car and smiles slightly, where a cracked hand mirror was laying, Puck smiled slightly, Don't worry. I'll do exactly as you ask."

The gargoyles, Etrigan, and Athena returned to the rooftop that Elisa and Hudson were waiting for them along with the mirror. They all now stood in front of the mirror.

"All right, we've got the mirror. Now what?" Brooklyn asked.

"That was one of Oberon's children with Demona, no doubt about it," Hudson said, sitting on a box and stroking his chin.

"Ah... She called him "Puck," Goliath recalled.

"In Shakespeare's play, Puck was a harmless trickster," Elisa mentioned.

"What happened below, wasn't harmless. Come, we must continue our search for them." Goliath said. He walked over to the edge and jumped on the side. Elisa looked over the edge.

"I'll never get the hang of jumping off rooftops," Elisa said.

"I'll always be there to catch you," Goliath said. He jumped off and circled and stopped flapping in the air, "See? It's easy."

Goliath gave an encouraging smile at Elisa and she moves to follow. However, she stopped on the edge, gasping. Goliath hovered a few feet away from the roof. Elisa smiled and prepared to jump. However, a green light coming from the mirror drew everyone's attention. Turning, they saw the mirror crackling with green lightning.

Five streaks of lightning suddenly shot from the glass, hitting each of the gargoyles. When the light disappeared, the gargoyles were all gone, replaced by human versions of themselves. Elisa and Athena turned back to the edge of the building just as a now human Goliath began plummeting from the sky.

"GOLIATH!" Elisa screamed.

Without a moment's hesitation, Elisa leaped from the balcony, diving after Goliath. Swooping down just in time, Elisa grabbed Goliath. Catching a quick updraft, they made their way back up the building, strong claws digging into the stone wall to stop their descent. Athena and Etrigan helped and pulled them up to safety.

Goliath and Hudson had not changed much, they had lost their obvious gargoyle features and their skin had changed too. Goliath's was a chestnut color and Hudson's was pale. Broadway was even paler with a tuft of blonde hair on his head. Lexington was a scrawny teenager with close-cropped brown hair. Brooklyn's beak was gone, replaced with a sharp nose and a pair of thin lips, his long white hair had remained.

"We don't want anything else jumping out from this thing," Hudson said.

Hudson took a sheet from a clothesline and tossed it over the mirror, effectively covering the glass. Soon, Goliath began to regain his senses.

"There was a light…" Goliath recalled. "Then, I fell… I've never fallen before."

He then looked up at Elisa and Athena and seemed to be relieved.

"Elisa… Daughter.." Goliath called, pulling them into a hug, "You've returned to normal."

"No, we haven't," Elisa explained, as she and Athena pulled free of the hug.

"You've changed," Athena added, "You're a human. You fell because you don't have wings."

"Uh, Athena?" Brooklyn questioned, "We've always been human."

"Aye, we've never needed wings to glide before," Hudson said.

"Uh... Wait a minute," Lexington spoke, "We must have used wings. How else could we glide?"

"They're right," Goliath said. "We are supposed to be gargoyles, but we're not. The rest of the city is supposed to be human, but thanks to Demona and Puck, they're not."

Back in the alley, Demona was slowly becoming impatient with Puck.

"Is it done?!" Demona demanded.

Puck sighed, this time in exhaustion rather than annoyance, "Yes…"

Leading Puck by his chain leash once more, Demona emerged from the alleyway, only to find that the humans are still gargoyles.

"I told you to turn the gargoyles to humans!" She snarled.

Hovering in the air with his legs crossed, Puck gave a small smile.

"You mean these gargoyles. I thought you meant Goliath and his clan," He quipped, "My mistake."

Demona grabbed Puck, pulling him toward her and she hisses, "Your last mistake."

"Wait a minute!" He cried out, "I thought you'd be pleased."

Demona paused to hear him out.

"Goliath is a puny human now," Puck told her, "And at your mercy."

The red faded from Demona's eyes at the prospect and Puck breathed a sigh of relief.

The clan had no choice but to walk. Bronx, who had not been transformed by the last spell, walked with them through the streets of Manhattan. Hudson held the covered mirror under his arm. As they walked, the gargoyle citizens ran in fear from them, screaming in terror about humans and calling them monsters.

"Are you sure this is a good idea?" Hudson asked.

"Without our wings, we have no choice," Goliath replied, "If we are to stand a chance against Demona and Puck, we must keep the fight here on the ground, where her wings will be of no use."

The clan soon found a deserted Rockefeller center that was perfectly suited for a battle. Athena and Elisa vanished, as Hudson set up the mirror.

"Unwrap the mirror," Goliath ordered. Hudson pulled the sheet free and out from the mirror sprung Demona, now toting a large laser rifle. Following close behind was a still bound Puck.

Demona let off a shot, which struck the window of a medieval display, with actual weaponry that the clan quickly picked up. Etrigan summoned his sword by breathing fire into his hands. Goliath grabbed a longsword, snagging a rolling shield before it passed. As he got into a defensive stance, Demona leveled her weapon again.

"I would recognize you no matter what your form, Goliath," Demona said as she fired.

The shot ricocheted off Goliath's shield, causing him to stumble back, but not fall.

"Take care of them, Puck," She ordered.

"As you wish," Puck smiled as he jumped into the air, narrowly avoiding a three-way attack from Brooklyn, Broadway, and Lexington. He lands on the arm of the Rockefeller statue, "Humans love a battle hearty. So does Puck; come on, let's party!"

Lightning shot from Puck's eyes, striking the weapons the clan had picked up. They all started glowing, then beginning to morph and change. Broadway's spear became a large sunflower that tried to eat him. Brooklyn's mace suddenly took off like a rocket, entangling him in a large umbrella off to the side. Lexington's ax started chopping at him, then began spinning like a fan. Hudson ran to help the boys but found his feet stuck in a large puddle of tar. Puck laughed hard at the four struggling fighters, kicking his legs in hysterics.

Puck turned around to see Bronx coming right at him, growling and showing teeth.

"Let's improve your looks, shall we?" Puck said, aiming right at Bronx.

A blast of magic struck Bronx, transforming him into a large Doberman, much to Puck's dismay.

"Should have gone for the Chihuahua," He remarked before running away with Bronx chasing after him.

Puck ended up knocking over Broadway's man-eating sunflower right into Lexington's spinning ax. The ax got stuck in the thick stem of the flower, allowing Lexington to ditch it and pull Broadway free. Brooklyn manages to break from the umbrella. The trio ran to help Goliath, leaving Hudson still stuck in the tar. Meanwhile, Puck was still on the run from Bronx. Puck kept looking back to see if Bronx was still behind, that he didn't pay attention in front of him and bumped into Etrigan.

Puck looked up at Etrigan, who had an emotionless expression on his face, nervously, "I don't suppose you would be open to a truce, would you?"

Etrigan gave Puck a wicked smile, "You ask for a truce, then you are quite foolish if you think I'll accept. You work for the gargoyle who has hurt my wife and her clan, and in battle, you will be decked."

Puck gulped nervously before continuing his run, now with Etrigan and Bronx chasing after him

Goliath was not faring well in his battle with Demona as a human. Demona had him by the throat, prepared to strike the final blow.

"Enough of this farce," She snarled.

Before she could go through, she was tackled by the trio, forcing her to drop Goliath. As the trio did their best to pin Demona down, a couple of "gargoyles" spotted them.

"Hey!" One of the onlookers shouted. "Those monsters are attacking that lady!"

"We gotta help her!" Another agreed.

A group of about five gargoyles came charging into the park, forcing the Trio to release Demona so they could defend themselves. Leaving them to deal with the '"gargoyles", Demona recovered her laser gun, aiming it directly at Goliath.

"You're no match for me as a pitiful human," Demona taunted

"My strength has never depended on brute force, Demona," Goliath explained.

Elisa took that moment to swoop down, driving Demona into the pavement with a flying kick.

"But on true friends," Goliath finished with a smile.

Back with the trio, the "gargoyles" were closing in fast, forcing the three of them to slowly back away.

"There's no way we can take them all," Lexington whispered.

"Wait a minute…" Brooklyn suddenly realized. "We're the monsters, remember?"

Catching on, the three of them began growling, clawing at the air like children pretending to be evil monsters. Fortunately, the "gargoyles" stopped their advance and began running away as fast as they could.

"Who are you to interfere with...?" Demona asked with a snarl as she recovered quickly. She then recognized the gargoyle as Elisa, "You! What does it take to destroy you?"

Demona launched at Elisa. But she was quickly knocked down by a punch to the jaw from Athena, who had swooped down.

"Father, run!" Athena told him as she and Elisa stood side by side, "We'll handle Demona."

"We'll handle her together," Goliath replied, preparing to fight.

Demona dove for the laser gun, letting off a shot. The three quickly dodged as Elisa kicked the gun from Demona's grasp. Goliath grabbed her from behind, holding onto her as tight as he could, but struggling against her superior strength. Within seconds, Demona successfully sent Goliath flying across the park and into a stone wall.

Goliath did his best to stand but found himself back on the ground as Demona flew over. She stalked toward him and had an evil smile on her face

A single laser shot rang out, taking out an overhang right above Demona. It fell on top and trapped her. Goliath looked up as Athena blew a line of smoke away from the barrel of the laser gun with Elisa by her side.

Down in the Rockefeller center, Puck, with legs crossed, was just floating in the air with his attention toward Etrigan and Bronx. Hudson had a trashcan in his hands as he got behind him and put the trash can over Puck, who let out a yell of surprise.

"Party's over," Brooklyn said.

They return to the Tower with the help of Puck. Demona was wrapped in chains as Puck stood in the middle of the clan.

"It ends now, Puck. Change everyone back to the way they were before Demona summoned you," Goliath said, "Do it and you'll earn your freedom."

Puck bows with a smile, "It will be my pleasure. But afterwards, I'm going to need a long nap."

Puck turned towards the mirror, "First, the humans I'll attend."

He lets green light fly through the mirror towards an antenna to change all of the humans back to normal. His eyes glowed as he turned to Elisa, Etrigan, and Athena. Lightning struck the three and they fell to the ground, back to their human forms. Goliath came to Elisa's side and helped her up. Jason stood up as he helped Athena up.

A green light surrounded Goliath and Brooklyn, pulling them back to the other Gargoyles. "Then the Gargoyles will I mend," Another flash of green light and the Gargoyles back to their normal selves.

Puck then floated in front of them, an almost desperate look in his eyes, "If his efforts you commend. Free Puck; let him homeward wend."

Goliath took the chains in his hands, snapping them like twigs. Puck smiled widely, stretching his arms and spinning in the air.

"You're free," Goliath told him.

Puck flew towards the mirror, grabbing Demona by her chains and He then dove through the glass with her. The mirror erupted into bright green light. Shielding their eyes, the gargoyles, Elisa, Athena, and Jason watched as the mirror seemed to implode, before disappearing.

Puck and Demona reappeared in Demona's home. Demona was freed from her bindings in transit. She now sat on a gothic throne, brooding over her defeat. Puck, however, was happily zipping around the room.

"Oh, that was a romp indeed!" Puck cheered.

Demona was despondent and turned away from Puck, leaning back in the chair in an exhausted manner.

"Spare me your gloating…" She said with a sigh, "Just go…"

Puck then appeared beside her, an expression of mock shock on his face, "Without giving you something in return for all this merriment? Puck is many things, but never a poor guest."

Turning away from him again, Demona began making shooing motions with her claw and practically begs, "Please… leave."

Puck was offended by her sudden dismissive behavior and scowled at her before disappearing. However, he didn't leave. Suddenly, his voice seemed to be coming from all corners of the room.

"You wanted to be your gargoyle self by night, and not turn to stone by day, then so be it."

Puck then reappeared, hovering above Demona with a vengeful, almost malicious grin on his face.

"Fearsome creature who would stay. Unchanged by the light of day, remain you thus throughout the night, and be thou flesh by dawn's fair light."

As Puck disappeared once more in a shower of green sparks, Demona gave him a growl.

Dawn was soon approaching as the gargoyles prepared for their stone sleep, taking their places on their perches of the clocktower.

"It's almost dawn," Broadway noted.

"I'd like to have seen the sun, just once," Hudson said.

"Don't worry," Athena told the gargoyles with her arm linked with Jason's, "Who knows, maybe one day you will be able to."

Goliath turned to Elisa, trying to find the right words to say.

"Elisa, I-" Goliath began.

"Yeah, I know," Elisa interrupted. "You're as relieved as I am that things are back to normal."

Goliath shook his head, "That's not what I was going to say-"

Elisa shushed him just as the sun rose, turning Goliath and the rest of the clan to stone.

"I know..." Elisa muttered, "but that's the way it is."

Athena could tell that her friend was upset by the events that transpired during the night as Elisa walked back inside the clocktower, knowing that the night allowed them to be free.

Back in Demona's manor, she stood in front of one of the large open windows, feeling the sunlight pouring through for the first time in her entire life.

"I don't believe it…" She gasped in utter shock. "He actually did it. And the sun is so warm. I never dreamed it would feel this good."

Stretching and enjoying the sun, Demona turned to see her reflection in Titania's Mirror and her enjoyment turned to utter horror. Her wings, gargoyle legs, and blue skin were gone. Puck had turned her into a human.

"NO!" Demona screamed.
