CHAPTER 13

Zabuza and Haku had return to their hideout as to heal and bandage him up. Off in the corner they hadn't seen the blonde hair woman that had been traveling with the brat that had beaten Zabuza.

"Do you not plan on joining my niece." Came of soft melody of a female voice from the shadows.

Haku pulled out her weapons ready to fight as Zabuza just glared into the shadows not giving a damn. "Give me a good reason to join that brat?" He growled out.

The woman steps out of the shadows smirking at him. "Because she will become something great in the future and don't you want to be part of history and not just a footnote?" She asked him.

"What do you know?" Question Zabuza as he was growing tired of her game.

"I know as the Goddess of love you have lost the one woman you have ever truly love to those bastard during the beginning of the bloodline purge." Said Aphrodite as she looks over at Haku. "That is the main reason you adopted that girl. She reminds you of your late lover and as such you have taken her as your child to raise in her memory. How was it not that you had scrolls on the girls bloodline when she knew nothing about it?" She question as Zabuza looked away from Haku who was looking at him with surprise written all over her pale face.

"I also know as the sister of the God of War. Ares could always use a Champaign in this world of Shinobi. For it has been a very long time since he last had one and well one could say he married her." Said Aphrodite with a smirk on her face.

"What's the catch?" Asked Zabuza as he knew this wouldn't come to him all free and he knew he would have to pay some type of price for all that she is offering him.

She smirks at him. "Nothing much. Just meet with my grumpy brothers and go from there. For what my niece offered you is still on the table." She told him as she snapped her fingers as a shirtless Ares and Hercules appeared before her. She arched an eyebrow at this. "Did I interrupt you two?" She asked as Ares narrowed his eyes at her.

"Yes, I was going to have a nice bath with my wife." Growled out Ares as he knew he was going to be in for it now with Xena.

Hercules just laughs. "I was just going to get changed to go and spar with Might Gai." He told them.

"Well they are both going to have to wait for Naxena gave this man here an offer and now I figure you two would like to meet with him and tell him it would be a grand offer. One that he couldn't pass up." Said Aphrodite.

"When did we enter a mob movie?" Asked Haku as she looked at the beautiful blonde and the two shirtless men before her.

"Get some clothing on. You are half naked in front of my daughter." Growled out Zabuza as it pained him to lift his massive sword.

Ares raised a raven eyebrow to this. "We are just dressed as you are. As well my sister had interrupted us while we were busy to come and meet with you." He said in his dark silky voice.

Haku was drawn to his voice but knew it was a trap and pulled herself together. It wouldn't be good to face the wrath of the woman that man was even scared of.

But with a snap of his finger Ares and even Hercules was now fully dressed in their leather clothing that they wore back in their time as Greek Gods. Something that they had never grown tried of. Ares just loved the feel of leather and Hercules liked leather for it stopped bleeding for how tight it was on his body.

Zabuza narrow his eyes as he didn't feel no chakra as the man changed and where surrounded by a strange light. Even when the crazy woman didn't even give off no chakra when she summon both the men before him now.

"Allow me to interduce myself. I am Ares God of War. One of the many God of Mt. Olympus." Said Ares as he smirked.

"I am his brother Hercules." Said Hercules as he smiled at the man and girl before them.

"Like I have told you earlier. I am Aphrodite Goddess of Love." Said Aphrodite as she was smiling.

"Why would your niece want me and my daughter to join her?" Question Zabuza as he was figuring he couldn't face these people before him. If that girl was anything like them. He would lose to them surely.

Ares smirks. "Naxena knows when she sees a strong and powerful warrior and wants to recruit those that will aid her in her future on whatever she might have planned. As well she figured you are tired of running from all those hunters that are after you." He said as he nodded his head to the hunter nin-mask in the girls hand.

"I figure you got the girls mask by killing one of those hunters?" Asked Ares with a knowing smirk.

Zabuza just nodded his head to this.

"I also figure you have been hired to kill that old man she is protecting?" Asked Ares.

"I was hired to do it. The price was right, and I needed the money." Said Zabuza as he studied Ares.

"The man you are serving has no honor and will betray you." Said Ares as he had a knowing look in his eyes.

"What do you mean?" Question Haku as she looks at the God before her.

"Gato is a man with no Honor. He has hired other shinobi in the past and has killed them all." Said Ares as he watched for any reaction to come from the man before him.

"How do you know this?" Came Zabuza's gravelly voice.

Ares smirks. "I am the God of War and the God of all Warriors. I hear your prays and your final thoughts when you all die or go into battle. It doesn't even matter if you warship me or not." He said with a grin. "As well I could call my Uncle and have him summon up the last shinobi that had severed that man." He said as he awaited the man's answer.

Haku looks at Zabuza and back at Ares. "I would like to speak to them." She spoke up. This drew all eyes to her.

With a nod of his head. Ares vanished in a silver light as Hercules and his sister Aphrodite just waited quietly for his return. After several minutes Ares appeared with a man in long black robes with white hair and cold black eyes that flashed crimson for a brief second as a soul of a missing nin from Kumo appeared before them. The dark skin man stood before them with a blue glow. His eyes looked around and saw Zabuza.

"So your his latest fool." Said the dark skin man.

"You worked for Gato?" Question Zabuza as he studied the spirit before him.

Haku summoned up all her will. "What Gato do to betray you?" She asked the spirit before her.

The man looked to the girl his dark eyes soften for a moment. The girl reminded him of his daughter that he will never see again for his foolish pride. "I took a job for Gato in the Land of Demon's to kill a Prince. I did my job and killed the royal guard that protected the prince. When I returned to the man's office with the prince's head. He had his thugs attack me and kill me. I was able to take a few and the eye of his right-hand thug that pretends to be a former samurai. There is no honor in that bastard." He growled out.

Zabuza had sat down on his throne like chair as he waited for Ares to return as Haku had tended to his wounds. He had heard that Gato had been in the Land of Demon's before he had set his sights on the Land of Wave. The Prince of the Land of Demon's was murdered by a nuke-nin but the nin was never found and Gato's company had taken over the land. Even though there was someone still alive in the land of Fire that could take over in the land of Demon's. But Gato would look for that long lost heir after he was done with the Land of Wave. If what this spirit before him told him what was true. Then it would do him well to turn on the troll and side with the blonde.

"Thank you." Said Haku as she bowed to the spirit before her.

The man just chuckled at her. "There is no need to thank me. All I did was tell you the truth of that bastard you work for. But if you could do something for me. I would be grateful." He said as he looked at the girl before him.

"Yes what would you like me to do for you?" Asked Haku.

He smiled. "Could you let my daughter Karui know her foolish father is now dead. Because of his foolish pride and I am sorry for leaving her and her mother alone for being a fool." He said as he looked at the girl.

With a nod Haku had agree. "What is your name Shinobi-son?" She question him.

He smiled before he was being to fade away. "Krillin." He said and he was now vanishing into the robes of Hades as the God of the underworld looked to the young ice user and to her father.

"Fallow the child of light. For it is too soon to welcome you to the underworld and there is much good you two could still do for those of the living world." Said Hades as he went up in black flames vanishing from their sighs.

Haku looked up to Zabuza. For once in her life. In a very long time she had felt fear. She wasn't ready to die. Not just yet and Zabuza could read the emotions in the girls eyes. He didn't want to lose her like he did his love so long ago. Because of those accursed bloodline purge.

"Fine. I will do it for Haku. I can not leave her alone to the lot of you." He said as he was eying Aphrodite who was smiling at him innocently.

Ares just laughs. "It appears he has you figured you sister." He said as he looked to Hercules as he looked at Zabuza and the girl.

"Protect my niece. For Ares and I will be leaving this world soon. For Kami has only allowed us a short stay here in her world as she is the new ruler." He said.

Zabuza nodded his head as Aphrodite walks up to Zabuza as her hand began to glow a soft golden light. "I shall heal you this time. But if you betray my niece. You will not like dealing with my husband. For she is his golden light as I am his golden heart." She warned him.

Zabuza just nodded his head to her words as Ares and Hercules both vanished in silver and golden lights. After she had healed the man Aphrodite had vanished in a pink light.

Zabuza and Haku knew it was time to pack up and find the girl that they would be fallowing. For they wanted to see what this girl would be doing in the future.

Tazuna's house

Naxena sat on the front steps on the house as she was tired of sitting inside listening to Sakura going on and on about how wonder Sasuke is. An ego that big was giving her grandfather a run for his money.

"So this is where you ran off to." Came a lazy voice from behind her.

Looking up to see Shikamaru standing above her. "Yeah. I had to get away from Team 7. Sakura is something else and Sasuke is just... he is just annoying." She told him as he sat down next to her.

"Yeah but you are a lucky one. You didn't have to grow up with them." Said Shikamaru as he grinned at her.

She smiled at him and laughed. "Yeah true." He told her.

Ino and Hinata had come out as well as they needed some air as well. Sakura's bs was stinking up the house.

"Hey love birds." Teased Ino as she saw the two sitting next to each other just talking and laughing.

Hinata just giggled at them as she took a seat next to Naxena as Ino sat down next to her.

"That fight you had earlier was insane." Said Ino as she looked at Naxena. "I have never seen anyone move like that or even handle a sword the way you did. To go up against one of the seven swordsmen of the Mist is pretty insane in itself." She told her friend.

"I just got lucky. I'm no where as good as my grandmother or my mother. Zabuza was a hell of a lot better then me. I just used my straight to help me and the extra sword also helped a lot as well." Said Naxena as she looks back to the calm sea before them.

"Don't downplay your skills Naxena-chan." Said Hinata as she looks at her friend and her teammate. "You are more skilled then any of the swordsman in our village." She finish telling her friend.

Naxena nodded her head. "I guess so." She said as she was inside her head as she was thinking about everything that has happen and her fight with the large man and how she had help for Kurama as well.

"Kit. You did well today. You are stronger then what you believe. Never second guess yourself and always believe yourself." He tells her.

'Thanks Kurama. I think I needed that.' Naxena tells him.

"I will always be there for you." Said Kurama as he went back to sleep.

She nods her head as she wasn't listening to the others talking around her. She just in her own little world looking off at the peaceful waters.

Next time we have Zabuza show up and giving a few people a heart attack.
