Chapter 28 – A Flashing, Shocking… Transformation?

"One appearance and he still has yet to get his act together…" Jinn commented in a bored fashion as she stared outward and onto the abyss of a realm she inhabited.

"Once upon a time there was a young man by the name of Sougo Tokiwa, who abandoned his dreams to become an overlord to live as a Kamen Rider. With their plan to get to Atlas up in smoke, the remaining heroes were informed of the truth behind this hidden war of Ozma and Salem. While everyone collects their thoughts, an Another Rider attacks. With Oscar Pine and Sougo Tokiwa now missing after the encounter, everyone worries for their safety… even if those two aren't the ones in the most danger at the moment."

Remnant – Argus Streets

Ruby cupped her hands together, "Oscar! Sougo! Uncle Qrow!"

"Nothing," Tsukuyomi sighed.

Team RWBY had chosen to split off into one of two groups with Tsukuyomi and Maria both tagging along. Jaune, Nora and Ren alongside Saphron and Geiz comprised the other team. While everyone didn't want Saphron involved given the Another Riders, she insisted which forced Geiz to go with Jaune's team as a result.

Ruby had wanted to make sure there was at least one Rider per group, though Geiz was at a disadvantage since the only OOO related Watches they had were Birth and the Tajador Combo, both of which Ruby inadvertently kept and only realized once they were fully separated.

"You'd think there would be more commotion," Weiss noted. "I mean Another OOO just showed up out of nowhere."

"But it vanished just as quickly," Blake replied. "Not to mention we've got no leads on where it might be."

"And Sougo isn't answering either no matter how many calls we put in," Ruby groaned, she had to wonder if Sougo was doing it on purpose. But she was sure he wouldn't do anything stupid if he saw an Another Rider. "There has to be a way to find them…"

"We should have kept a better eye on them, because we don't even know if Another OOO took them," Yang looked off to the side. "I know we weren't exactly the best to Sougo after we learned both truths. Not to mention Oscar in general… we should have figured that at least Oscar might do something like this."

"He must be in a terrible headspace right now," Tsukuyomi noted and shook her head. "And I was worried over my stupid problems."

"No one's problems are bigger than the others," Blake spoke up. "We all have a lot we're going through right now, I'm just glad you felt the need to talk about it."

"Yeah," Ruby agreed. "We're kind of all over the place right now, so don't feel like yours aren't as important."

"I'm glad you all are working out your feelings but we need to be vigilant!" Maria reminded as she tapped her cane on the ground harder to catch the girls' attention. "We've got invaders from a foreign world and two of our team missing… three if you count the drunkard."

"Honestly I'm getting worried that he might get targeted…" Ruby sighed.

~Ruby Rose could not help but trust her instincts, immediately using her Semblance to reach Qrow Branwen who was in danger~

Ruby's eyes suddenly widened as she quickly looked towards the side of the alleyway they were passing. She felt something was off and stopped, staring into the alleyway and noticing that it had a few branching paths. Without another word she immediately used Petal Burst to enter it, zooming away from everyone.

Weiss was in shock, "R-Ruby?!"

"Why the heck did she just leave like that?" Yang turned in surprise.

"Something feels off," Blake said as her ear twitched.

"We need to go after her!" Tsukuyomi called out as she began to run after Ruby despite the huntress rider getting the head start.

"Let me help with that," Weiss called as she quickly drew Myrtenaster and summoned a series of glyphs, "Slide!" She called to Tsukuyomi, quickly kicking off and picking up speed as Tsukuyomi did the same, the two sliding across the trail of glyphs.

Just as Blake, Yang and Maria were about to follow when suddenly scraping was heard above them, the three looking up as Another OOO descended from the entrance of the alleyway, its claw scraping against the brick as it landed and blocked their path. Of course its appearance had managed to cause more uproar as everyone else in the area began to flee.

"Oh boy," Maria sighed.

"We'll handle it," Yang gave a glare as she readied Ember Celica.

"We're going to have to either way," Blake realized as she drew out Gambol Shroud, keeping it in it's sheathe to use in its cleaver form.

Watching them from afar was the silver clad Woz who held his tablet styled book open, he gave a sly grin as he saw the confrontation occurring. On his book were the words…

~However as the remainder try to follow they get a nasty surprise in Another OOO returning once more~

Remnant – Argus Clothing Shop

"Hmm, what do you think?" Sougo asked as he draped a bright pink coat over his shoulders. "Think it could work for my look?"

"Uh… even though Zi-O does have pink alongside your Aura I don't feel like that's a good color to go for priority," Oscar admitted, "Or at least that bright."

"Hmm, you're right, probably as an accent," Sougo agreed as he put it back. "Hmm… I do want a coat though, seems like Atlas is going to be really chilly. Plus it's already cold."

"I mean, you already have a coat," Oscar pointed out.

"Yeah but it doesn't feel very Huntsman-y, I sort of want to combat ready," Sougo admitted as he looked at the coat they had hastily gotten. As he looked back at the selection he had to admit he was surprised at the high variety they had. "Man they really have so many different colors and styles here huh?"

"Yeah they do huh," Oscar remarked as he looked at a selection of multicolored coats. He stared at them for a while as he looked himself over. "Hey, Sougo…"

Sougo looked over as he was looking at another set of coats that had caught his interest, "Yeah?"

"…How are you and Geiz so calm about everything?" Oscar finally asked. "You all don't seem too fazed by Salem, or really Ozpin's past in general. Heck, even Ruby seemed to take it well."

"I mean… going up against impossible odds, that's what Riders are good at," Sougo admitted as he seemed to find the coat and style he was looking for. He decided to just get straight to the point and ignore the part with Ozpin's past, "Plus you heard what Maria said, a Huntsman or Huntress, they fight until the very end. And I'd like to take a page out of their book."

"It must sound so easy," Oscar sighed as he went to sit down at a nearby stool. "You don't exactly have the issue of losing yourself and becoming someone foreign."

"I… well not exactly what you have going on," Sougo admitted as he walked over and squatted in front of Oscar. "But I do know how it feels to be picked on and judged for who you will become and not who you are right now."

Oscar's eyes widened as he remembered the whole deal with Oma Zi-O, inwardly giving himself a slap for forgetting, "Ah Sougo I'm so sorry I didn't mean to-"

"Its fine," Sougo smiled. "It's why I wanted us to just have a bit of alone time anyway. I figured I'd try and help you feel more comfortable since I know generally how you feel."

"How did you deal with it?" Oscar asked. "You didn't seem that angry or sad when the others started snapping and judging."

"Well… because what Geiz said was the truth," Sougo admitted. "He went back to stop me, and he was pretty antagonistic at first, heck you'd be surprised if you saw us like four months ago and then looked at us now. He's still a bit rough to deal with but I think we've moved into more familiar territory."

"Huh," Oscar stared a bit before looking away, "So how do you cope with it… the idea that one day you'll…?"

"Well while I'm afraid of Oma Zi-O," Sougo admitted before standing up. "I've decided to live my life as a Kamen Rider, to try and build my own path and not the one I've seen. Even if I do end up going astray, I still want to do as much good as possible."

"As much good as possible…" Oscar trailed before standing up and giving a smile, "Thanks Sougo, I think I might finally have my answer."

"Good," Sougo gave a thumbs-up before turning and hurrying over to a particular coat, "So I was wondering if this might be good for me."

Oscar couldn't help but chuckle a bit at Sougo's quick transition to shopping again, "I think it'll look good on you." He then looked over at two coats. "Mind if I get your opinion really fast?"

"Sure," Sougo turned as he soon saw the coats, one a burnt orange and one olive colored. "Ooh, I think I get what you're going for. I'd say go for the olive though. It'll compliment you a bit better I think."

"And… you're sure we're going to have enough?" Oscar asked. "I know I have some but…"

"Don't worry, I made sure to get enough," Sougo admitted.

"Okay but how?" Oscar asked.

"Oh, don't tell Qrow but its most of his," Sougo admitted as Oscar's eyes widened. He then waved off the concern, "I did it mostly to try and make sure he didn't blow it all on drinking. I think we'll have enough for the clothes."

Remnant – Argus Streets

Managing to use her Petal Burst to clear most of the distance, Ruby's eyes widened when she saw her uncle drunkenly stumbling through an empty sidewalk. She then noticed that no one else was around before suddenly seeing why.

"Damn drunkard…" Another W hissed out as it was in the streets nearby. It grasped its left hand tightly before opening it up and revealing a plume of purple flames.

"Uncle Qrow!" Ruby shouted but soon realized her uncle was not listening to his surroundings at all. "Damn it," She hissed out before readying her Driver and using Petal Burst.

"Die…!" Another W growled out as it threw the plume of purple flames forward, a fireball launching out.

[RIDER TIME! KAMEN RIDER ROZE!]

In a flash of holographic petals Roze emerged and threw Crescent Rose in front of her, shifting it into its scythe formation. Using the head of the scythe she braced against the fireball.

"Not a chance," Ruby growled out as she shifted her weapon into its rifle formation, aiming and firing at Another W to stagger it. "Just why are you here?"

Another W growled out as it was struck, throwing its right arm forward and sending out a green cyclone.

The huntress rider glanced back and saw Qrow was still stumbling his way forward and just barely making his way around the corner. She didn't have time to think as she gritted her teeth, making sure she was in the way of the cyclone. Raising her weapon in defense as she braced she gasped out as sparks flew from the attack, staggering backwards as a result.

[LUNA!]

"I'll take you out!" Another W shifted its Cyclone half into its Luna form, soon stretching out its right arm to grab at Ruby.

Ruby just barely gained her footing and gave a wince as the hand approached, only to open her eyes when she heard the hand impact against something. It was a standard glyph from Weiss that forced the Another Rider to reel its arm back.

[BURST MODE!]

Another W gasped out as it was struck from behind, sparks flying from its back as it staggered to the side and turned.

Ruby glanced back and noticed her uncle had fully rounded the corner, relief filling her body. She then turned towards where she heard the shots and was surprised to see Tsukuyomi and Weiss ready with their weapons, "Guys!"

"There's a second Another Rider?" Weiss asked.

"Another W," Tsukuyomi confirmed. "But this wasn't with Another OOO when it attacked us, just what is going on?"

"It was targeting uncle Qrow," Ruby hurried over as she dismissed Crescent Rose for the time being.

Tsukuyomi turned in surprise, "Seriously?"

"Is that why you ran off?" Weiss asked. "How did you even know?"

"I just thought about him and well… something felt really wrong and I just had to get to here in particular," Ruby admitted as she shook her head, something felt off but she wasn't sure what. "I just knew."

"Weird," Tsukuyomi said before shaking her head. "How are we going to beat it? We don't have W's Watch on hand."

"Then let's try Accel," Ruby said as she took out the Ridewatch and slotted it into her open slot before rotating the Driver.

[ACCEL! WEAPON TIME! ENGINE BLADE!]

The Engine Blade embedded itself into the ground before Ruby pulled it out, soon taking out the Cyclone Memory and slotting it in.

[CYCLONE MAXIMUM DRIVE!]

A green shine began to flash on the blade as green wind gathered around it, "It has half of W's power, and Accel's related… we might be able to compensate."

"It's a risky plan," Weiss admitted before aiming her weapon forward. "But if we can at least stall it then maybe Sougo will find us."

"At worst it will run again when we have the advantage." Tsukuyomi added.

"Then let's go team," Ruby called out as she noticed a set of glyphs lined up for her to run on. Ruby slid on them to build up momentum before using Petal Burst to launch forward.

[CYCLONE!]

Another W growled out as it swapped Luna back to Cyclone, summoning a powerful green whirlwind around it.

Ruby had closed in, slashing with her Engine Blade and causing a green burst of wind to erupt from the slash. Both attacks clashed against each other as Ruby tried to break through.

Another W howled out as it increased the strength of its cyclone, the competing wind energies clashing against each other before an explosion of air occurred between them. Both Another W and Ruby were both thrown backwards as a result.

"Come here!" Yang yelled as she punched with both fists, Another OOO catching them with its hands as it tried to force her back. "Yeah that's right."

Blake came from behind, slashing as she coated her weapon in electricity, having enhanced it with Lightning Dust. Performing several quick strikes she managed to cause sparks to fly alongside managing to paralyze Another OOO briefly.

Yang grinned, pulling her fists back and out of the Another Rider's grasp, sending a few quick punches to its abdomen.

Electricity crackled as Another OOO gasped out, giving a growl as it spread its arms out further, breaking free of the paralysis. It then kicked forward, enhancing its kick and managing to send Yang stumbling back despite her blocking it. It soon turned, its claws glowing brightly as it slashed forward. Two three pronged energy waves hurtled towards Blake.

An Earth Dust clone was soon in her place as she dodged back, one set of the slashes breaking and exploding against it. What surprised Blake was the second set of energy waves shooting forward undisturbed, striking against her and sending her tumbling against the ground.

Blake winced as she finally slammed against the ground, her Aura flickering but still managing to hold.

"Blake!" Yang called out before sending out shotgun blasts from her weapons, managing to get them to impact against Another OOO back.

The Another Rider turned, enhancing its kicking power as it launched itself towards Yang. It raised its claws and lunged downwards only to roll against the ground when Yang had slipped underneath it. It rose and turned only to be met by more blasts from Yang's gauntlet and prosthetic.

Another OOO growled out as it began gathering energy in its claws again, its eyes glowing as it readied itself.

Yang looked back, seeing Blake still recovering behind her she knew she couldn't just dodge. She was going to have to brace and use Burn to deal a massive blow to force the Rider to retreat. She quickly readied herself and crossed her arms.

"Child," Maria called to Yang before throwing her cane.

Yang quickly caught it and looked in surprise, "Wait, what?"

"Your Semblance is handy, so use this to close in and help brace!" Maria called out.

Yang gave a nod and extended the cane, pressing a button and unfolding the sickle portion to fully form. She then braced with by grabbing it with both hands, soon giving a yell and running forward.

Another OOO growled out, lifting its head up before hunching forward, launching two sets of slashes forward before rushing in.

Yang quickly skidded to a stop, bracing as the slashes impacted against her, the sickle helping absorb some damage. Her aura flickered as she could feel the remainder of the attacks hitting and piling up. Closing her eyes she opened them as they turned a bright red, holding the sickle with her right arm she reeled back with her left, giving a yell as her hair lit up.

Another OOO raised its claws before realizing what had occurred, trying to lower them only to be too late. It coughed and yelled as it was struck in the stomach by Yang's fist, the huntress having gone for an uppercut. The attack managed to send sparks flying as it was launched upwards before dropping and slamming against the ground.

Yang gasped out as she fell to a knee, her aura flickering further as her hair and eyes returned to normal. "Did… that really not beat it?"

"It's a Rider monster," Maria hurried over and snatched her sickle back from Yang, shifting it back to its cane form. "Seems without a Rider we're out of luck."

"It has to run though, it can't keep this up," Yang reminded.

Blake meanwhile had managed to finally catch her breath. She used her weapon, lifting herself up with it as her eyes widened. Seeing Yang on her knee and the Another Rider still around caused her to panic. She gave a groan as she fully lifted herself up, "Come on… there has to be something."

Another OOO gave a yell as it slammed its claws against the ground, kicking its legs out before reeling them back and throwing itself forward, managing to fully stand.

"Oh come on," Yang raised her arms in defense. "Sougo, now would be a really good time to show up heroically!"

The silver clad Woz could only stare at the scene from the roof he was spying on, giving a frown as he opened his book. He took out the pen from the center and was ready to write something down before raising an eyebrow.

"No…" Blake could feel her heartbeat as she took a step forward, not like this, she didn't want the situation to end the way she feared it would. She needed to do something. Ruby, Sougo and Geiz weren't here, so there needed to be something she could do, anything. Suddenly power began welling up inside of her as she took a step forward.

Maria's preflexes soon acted up, sensing something off as she turned, her prosthetics widening slightly, "Impossible…"

"Huh?" Yang turned and her eyes widened, "Blake?"

Another OOO began to approach before turning its attention to Blake, tilting its head as it stepped back and raised its claws in defense.

Blake was now walking forward, her aura shining a bright purple before the energy around her began pouring into her hand, when she felt the object forming she suddenly stopped. A silver gourd with purple highlights and green accents formed. A screen was at the front, holding a red dot inside of a silver circle, the red dot glowing and showing holographic shuriken before fading.

"Wait… a Ninja?" Blake recognized the familiar star shaped weapon before grasping the gourd with her other hand and opening it up. Suddenly a purple liquid spewed out, wrapping around her waist before forming a pure and full silver Ziku Driver missing its screen that was unable to rotate. The gourd meanwhile had vanished, appearing hooked on her belt now.

In front of her in a flash of wind a silver four pointed shuriken with a purple plate jutting out the side from behind it formed. She then grasped it with her left hand.

"That's what the others use isn't it?" Maria asked.

"I think… this is different," Yang realized, already noticing how there was no Ridewatch and the strange blank Ziku Driver seemed to lack most of its actual features.

"Okay," Blake took a deep breath, despite not knowing anything about this belt she somehow instinctively had an idea about how it worked. She held her left arm horizontally, crossing it in front of her right arm which was held vertical, her right hand adopting a ninja-like sign. "Here goes nothing… Henshin!"

She placed the shuriken/plate onto the center of the Blank Ziku Driver where the screen would normally be, spinning it as she lowered her arms and kept them spread. A scroll suddenly erupted from the center of the shuriken, unwrapping and forming a large circle behind her as various seal style script kanji formed behind her.

[DARE JA? ORE JA? NINJA!]

If that wasn't enough flash what seemed like a large silver robot with purple accents formed behind her, shifting into a purple toad, the robot toad opening up its mouth and spewing out the armor. The armor passed through the scroll ring and latched onto Blake, fully armoring her up as the scroll rolled back up and vanished with the robot toad disappearing in a puff of smoke.

[SHINOBI KENZAN!]

Oddly enough her rider suit seemed to borrow inspiration from past Riders, the entirety of the suit being shaped from Ghost's transient form with shoulders and a head similar to Ex-Aid. What made this form unique was the black bodysuit with various purple armoring alongside ninja-like wrappings on the shins and forearms. She held a yellow visor, a shuriken with two short points at the bottom and two long points at the top separating the yellow and forming her rider crest with an additional silver headband that held two crossed kunai. To finish it off was a purple silk-like scarf flowing in the cool breeze.

Maria could only gape in surprise, "What in…"

"Blake's…" Yang trailed, "A Kamen Rider?"

"Is this how Ruby feels?" Blake questioned as looked her armor over, grasping her hands as she could fill the extra boost in power.

Another OOO growled out as it began running forward, leaping over Yang and Maria before rushing straight for Blake.

"Keep your eyes up girl!" Maria chided.

Blake's head shot up as she spun the shuriken again on her belt in instinct.

[NINPO KIRISUTE!]

Another OOO growled out and lunged forward with its claws only to suddenly gasp out. Blake had ducked and dug a white hilted ninjato blade into its stomach, sparks flying as it staggered back. It seemed as though this was what she was given by activating the belt.

"Familiar, I think I can work with this," Blake admitted, she was unsure how she had lost Gambol Shroud but she knew she'd have to figure things out as she went. "Now then…"

She rushed in, ninjato now in a reverse grip as she slipped past one claw swipe before slashing and blocking the second claw with her blade. She then kicked the Another Rider in the abdomen to send it back before flipping forward, gripping her blade in both hands as she stabbed down, striking it in its shoulder.

The Another Rider growled out, swiping forward and slashing against Blake with both of its claws.

Blake gasped out as she was struck, sparks flying as she staggered back. She was surprised she didn't instinctively use her Semblance, but realized that this form would have a few kinks she'd likely have to out as well.

"If that won't work," Blake spun the shuriken again before clasping her hands together and pushing them forward.

[STRONG NINPO!]

Suddenly a stream of purple flames shot from her hands, striking the Another Rider and sending sparks flying as it staggered back before it fell to its knees in exhaustion.

"Not yet," The silver clad Woz muttered as he began writing something down.

Another OOO suddenly shot up as if it wasn't tired, growling out before jumping off onto the rooftop, keeping itself visible as it began to head off.

"We need to follow it," Blake called out as she quickly jumped, grasping onto the ledge of a building before lifting herself up and rushing after the Another Rider.

"Wait, Blake!" Yang called out.

"Hurry up and follow her!" Maria called out. "I'll catch up eventually!"

"Got it," Yang gave a nod before running off, planning on following the two through the streets.

The silver clad Woz could only give a smile as he began to walk off, staring at his book in delight.

~ With Blake Belladonna now transformed the newly appointed Rider followed a fleeing Another OOO hastily~

Another W began to pant before yelling out, straightening up as it managed to keep standing from the combination of attacks that Ruby and Weiss had sent its way.

Weiss gave an annoyed growl, "How is it still standing?!"

"It isn't like Another Ghost, this isn't someone who was easily forced to become one," Ruby called out.

"She's right!" Tsukuyomi called out. "This is a person who has intent and it's making it all the stronger, it isn't like Another Ghost, and even Another OOO didn't seem this composed."

"We'll need to end this now," Ruby suggested as she gathered green energy in her Engine Blade before spinning and sending a crescent wave of energy out.

Another W growled out, wind surrounding its body as it formed a personal cyclone around it. The cyclone clashed with the energy before unleashing itself against it. The energy slash was soon sent back towards Ruby.

Weiss quickly formed a large glyph in front of Ruby who braced with her weapon. The repelled energy slash struck, shattering the glyph from the force behind it with Ruby getting hit as a result.

The rider yelled out as sparks flew, slamming against the ground.

Weiss' eyes widened as she rushed over, "Ruby!"

"Tend to her now!" Tsukuyomi called as she began firing at Another W to distract it, moving away from both Ruby and Weiss to focus its attention on her. She drew out the Taka Watchroid before throwing it out.

[THUNDER HAWK! SHIBIRE-TAKA, TAKA!]

The Taka Watchroid flew forward, sending out small streams of electricity to strike at Another W, Tsukuyomi following up with blasts from her weapon to keep the Another Rider distracted.

Ruby gasped out as she got on her side, pushing herself up into a sitting position as Weiss quickly knelt beside her. "He's good…"

"I'm sorry," Weiss apologized. "I thought just a glyph could help, I didn't think…"

"Weiss," Ruby grabbed her friends hand and squeezed it gently. "Its fine, I wasn't expecting it to send my attack right back at me."

"Ruby…" Weiss trailed before removing her hand and standing up. "Take a breather, Tsukuyomi and I can wear him down for you at least."

"Weiss, wait!" Ruby called out as she got to one knee, starting to stand up but wincing and clutching her stomach from the damage.

Weiss ignored her partner's words as she gave a determined stare, carefully making her way towards the battle at hand. Sliding her hand across Myrtenaster she spun and summoned several orange glyphs. Swiping forward she launched several arcing fireballs towards Another W.

The Another Rider was currently aiming to smack the Taka Watchroid away as it tried to close in towards Tsukuyomi. It gathered a miniature orb of wind and plume of fire in its hands before combining them together. It began to grow both fire and wind as it planned on launching it out. It gasped however as the fireballs began pelting against it, one striking its attack mid-formation and causing it to erupt and explode as a result.

Tsukuyomi backed up in surprise before seeing Weiss come at her side, "Not bad."

"Ruby needs to recover, we need to try and force it to retreat," Weiss said. "Is there any possible way you can freeze that thing for me?"

Another W however interrupted their thoughts as it yelled, unleashing a burst of wind to blow away the smoke covering its body.

Tsukuyomi stared at her hand before holding it out, though nothing seemed to occur, "I… I'm not sure I can on command."

"That's fine, I'll take the lead," Weiss said as she loaded up the slot for Lightning Dust. Holding her weapon at the ready a new glyph formed underneath her, that of a gold coloration with clock styling as it began to turn rapidly several times before vanishing, Weiss gaining a gold glow around her.

In an instant she launched forward, holding out her hand and summoning several glyphs all around Another W. The Another Rider could only look around in surprise as Weiss took advantage of that. Thrusting forward she struck against Another W, using the glyphs she began bouncing off of them in rapid succession, striking at Another W from all around, launching it into the air.

The Another Rider gasped out in surprise its body spinning only to briefly see Weiss who had swung out and unleashed a wave of fire to launch it backwards.

Weiss landed, panting slightly as she chose not to move in any closer, already suspecting an immediate counterattack.

[TRIGGER!]

Another W had managed to recover fairly fast, switching its Joker half for Trigger and shooting blasts of energy from the spikes on its wrist.

Weiss immediately switched to Wind Dust, sending out a small whirlwind to spin and deflect the blasts back towards Another W.

The corrupted Rider howled out as its own projectiles struck its body, sparks flying as it was forced back and reverted to its Cyclone Joker formation.

"I won't lose to you," Weiss gave a glare as she stood up straight, surprisingly feeling a lot more energetic than before.

Ruby had managed to fully stand before suddenly seeing what was going on and stopping, "Weiss?"

Tsukuyomi was staring at Weiss as well, a bit in surprise, "It's just like Blake…"

Weiss had ended up shining a light blue, being covered in her Aura before it began gathering in the palm of her hand, a silver question mark pendant forming.

Another W tilted its head in confusion as it stared at Weiss, the ex-heiress looking at her hand in surprise and seeing the pendant.

"Wait what?" Weiss asked.

~With Weiss Schnee's power unlocked, Another W has no chance so it chooses to retreat to find Another OOO and gain the advantage, however it is chased relentlessly.~

Another W perked up before turning in a random direction, gathering a cyclone around it before launching into the air and taking off.

"We can't let it get away!" Weiss called out before rushing off after it.

Normally Ruby and Tsukuyomi would disagree but for some reason they felt themselves agreeing with Weiss, the two giving a nod to each other and rushing off after Weiss.

Remnant – Argus Clothing Shop

"I don't know about you Oscar, but I think we're cleaning up real good!" Sougo called out as he began to walk out of the clothing shop, doing a spin as he found a reflective window to admire himself in.

Oscar himself had changed to an olive coat with shoulder pads and a belt that were colored in dark red. Underneath he had a white collared shirt with bandages wrapping around the base of his neck to add some familiarity from his last outfit. He also had different gloves, these slightly opening to a U-shape, with black X-patterned wrist straps. To complete it he had black trousers on with red boots that had orange tips.

"I guess we are," Oscar gave a bit of a nervous chuckle, unsure of what to really make of Sougo's slang. "You look pretty good yourself now."

Sougo looked in surprise, "Really?"

Sougo had gone for a white two tailed duster coat with rose colored padding on the shoulders and elbows. Underneath he had a more fitted pink collared shirt with a grey vest holding it in place. He had also opted to get thin but durable back padded black gloves. Finally to complete it he had black fit jeans and grey boots with rose tips.

"Yeah, but I'm surprised actually. Since I noticed you tended to prefer… looser clothes," Oscar admitted.

"Oh yeah, it's mostly my style," Sougo admitted. "But I felt like if I'm going to help you all out, I'd need to look the part."

"Well you certainly do," Oscar admitted.

"Same with you too," Sougo said.

"I'm just surprised we still had enough, these weren't exactly the cheapest," Oscar admitted as he looked himself over.

"And we still have plenty left for dinner!" Sougo called out as he flashed a few more Lien cards.

"You know Qrow's going to kill you for doing this," Oscar reminded.

"Eh, not like he would have used it better," Sougo brushed it off. "So what do you think we should get?"

"Huh, you know that's right… the others didn't really decide on anything did they?" Oscar realized before thinking on it. "Well there's a Grocery Store I remember passing, and I think I've got an idea of something we can do too."

"Then what are we waiting for," Sougo grinned before pumping his fist and skipping off. "Let's go!"

Oscar couldn't help but chuckle at Sougo's enthusiasm as he gave a soft smile and followed, "Thanks Sougo."

Remnant – Argus City Plaza

Rumblings of the Another Riders had already begun to spread through Argus, and it wasn't long before a plaza was the target of Another OOO, landing and scaring off the people there. Blake soon landed in the area, keeping her ninjato in a reverse grip.

Another OOO growled out as it gathered more energy in its claws, sending out slashes towards Blake who jumped back and tried batting them away. Of course she underestimated the strength behind one and ended up losing her weapon in the process.

"Damn," Blake said as she landed.

Another OOO saw that Blake wasn't rushing for her weapon and launched forward, trying to leap and pounce onto the huntress turned Rider.

Blake took a deep breath and closed her eyes before opening them and ducking forward as she charged. Soon enough Gambol Shroud in its sheath materialized in her hand, slashing forward and through Another OOO.

Another OOO hissed out as it slammed onto the ground, holding its side as a result.

"So I can summon it," Blake said, noting there didn't seem to be any additions to her weapon like Ruby's. But that was fine, she had something familiar to use alongside her new weapon.

"More Rider…"

Blake turned before quickly performing a flip backwards to avoid a green cyclone erupting from underneath her. She narrowed her eyes behind her visor when she saw Another W land, "A second one?"

Another W shook its wrists as it began to move forward only to get struck by two blasts.

"There's another one?!" Yang called as she finally arrived, having been the one to attack Another W.

"Yeah it seems so," Blake said as she stood up, "On the bright side, I can bring out my weapon and Another OOO is in rough shape."

"Think we can take them together?" Yang asked.

"I think we can," Blake gave a nod as she readied herself, getting ready to initiate another special ability via her Shinobidriver.

Suddenly a flurry of blue beams arced and curved, striking Another W in its back before it turned, only to get shot in the face and sent to the ground.

Weiss and Ruby had quickly run up with Tsukuyomi lagging behind but just managing to catch up.

"Alright," Ruby gave a sigh. "I think we got… it…" She suddenly began staring at the sight before her, Another OOO on the ground with Yang nearby alongside an entirely new Rider wielding Blake's weapon. "B-Blake…?"

Blake was staring at Ruby in surprise, mostly since she didn't think they'd run into each other, "Ruby? How did you all get here?"

"Wait, since when could Blake transform into a Kamen Rider?" Weiss asked

"Not just any Kamen Rider, a completely unknown one," Ruby's eyes widened beneath her helmet. She was sure in what little records she had on Earth she had yet to see or hear of the form Blake had taken.

"I'm not sure how I did it," Blake admitted as she looked herself over. "But I'm Kamen Rider Shinobi now."

[LUNA!]

"Enough!" Another W yelled out as its Cyclone half shifted to Luna, it whipped its arm out to extend it before spinning around and lashing out.

[WEAPON TIME! TAJADOR COMBO! TAJA SPINNER!]

Ruby quickly braced in front of Weiss, bringing out the Taja Spinner as a shield, she cried out as the shield was barely able to hold, sparks flying as she was sent tumbling into Weiss, the ex-heiress dropping the question mark pendant.

Blake however stood still and calm as she allowed herself to get hit by the extended arm. Her form vanished in a blur of purple. Soon enough she was seen above, spinning the shuriken attachment once more and holding her hand out.

[MEGATON NINPO!]

A sudden giant purple tinted tornado formed beneath Another W, the winds damaging it as it was sent spiraling up into the air. Blake threw her body forward, slashing past the Another Rider and landing near her fallen friends.

Ruby gave a light groan as she got up, "That really suits you."

"I'm honestly surprised," Blake admitted.

Weiss meanwhile went to get up before seeing the question mark pendant and instinctively grabbing it, "I still don't remember having this on me, but it feels… familiar?"

"Wait," Blake looked it over. "Weiss, try holding it out and concentrating."

"Huh?" Weiss asked.

"Just try it," Blake said, her instincts kicking in further now that she was close enough to the pendant.

"Fine," Weiss relented and held the pendant out, closing her eyes. Suddenly the pendant began to shine before a bright series of question marks began forming around Weiss' waist.

Another blank silver Ziku Driver formed, but this one already had modifications. There was already a vertical slot in front of where the screen would normally be. On the sides were a set of two question marks moving up diagonally, red on the right and blue on the left.

"Whoa wait what?" Ruby asked.

"That must have been what the light shining off of Weiss was earlier," Tsukuyomi guessed.

"Wait, the same thing happened to her too?" Yang asked as she ignored the fallen Another Rider and ran over.

"Okay but how do I even work this thing?" Weiss asked before feeling something in her hand. It was a gold rimmed metal plate in the shape of an exclamation mark, it having a white center with a red right and blue left. She held it up to inspect it only for it to suddenly shift into a question mark shape, keeping the same coloration.

Tsukuyomi could only tilt her head, "A question mark?"

"I don't know what's going on, but go Weiss!" Ruby cheered.

"W-What do you mean 'Go Weiss', what am I supposed to even do?!" Weiss looked back with a slight stammer.

"Call out Henshin and then put it into the empty slot," Blake instructed.

"Yeah, it's super easy, so have fun with it!" Ruby cheered.

"Uh… right," Weiss composed herself before holding out the plate, "Uh… Henshin?" She almost questioned her actions before slotting it into her Driver's open space.

[FASHION! PASSION! QUESTION!]

Suddenly an oval set of rails with bars that flashed red and blue formed behind her, a stylized O and X forming as well. Suddenly dual colored question marks began converging onto Weiss before fully forming her suit, the O and X launching out before coming back in and latching onto her.

[QUIZ!]

Another familiar rider shape greeted everyone, the body and armoring of Weiss' suit resembling that of Ex-Aid, it being all black with gold highlights on the boots, wrists, shoulders and hands. Her right side was covered with red accents and question mark detailing. While her left side was covered with blue accents and question mark detailing. The O was present on her right side of the breastplate while the X was on the left.

Her helmet also seemed to draw inspiration from Ghost, it being the same general shape but with a white mouth plate and two large orange question marks acting as eyes, a question mark that grew wider towards the top acting as her head crest. Surprisingly compared to Blake, one thing from her outfit did remain on her Rider form, her red scarf.

"Hold on," Weiss looked herself over, while she felt a boost she couldn't help but question one thing, "Quiz? I'm Kamen Rider Quiz?"

"And an entirely new one I have no idea about," Ruby realized.

"Okay but Blake gets Ninja's and I get Quizzes?" Weiss asked pointing at herself. "How is that fair?!"

"Well Ice Queen you were one of the most diligent of the team back at Beacon," Yang remarked as she patted Weiss on the back. "I guess that rubbed off on what kind of powers you got."

Ruby couldn't help but stifle a chuckle, "Pfft… nerd."

"Ruby Rose you will watch your mouth or so help me!" Weiss huffed.

"Well there's no better time than now to test, right?" Tsukuyomi asked.

"Exactly, get in there!" Yang called out, shoving Weiss forward.

Weiss stumbled before managing to stop, turning as she glared behind her helmet, "H-Hey, don't just decide that!"

"Don't worry Weiss!" Ruby called out as she readied herself. "Blake and I have got your back!"

"Leave the heavy lifting to me though," Blake suggested as she looked Ruby over. "It looks like you're nearly worn out."

"I uh… yeah you're probably right," Ruby realized and slumped slightly.

Weiss gave a light groan as she put a hand on her hip, and looked herself over, fidgeting with her Driver she noticed that nothing really moved, and she didn't want to risk taking the transformation trinket out. "Am I really just fighting hand to hand, seriously?"

Another W didn't give her much time to think however, as it shifted back into Cyclone Joker. It rushed forward and threw a punch. Weiss instinctively raised her right arm, managing to block the attack. She was surprised just how durable the armor was quickly grabbing the next punch with her left hand.

"Okay," Weiss quickly kicked Another W away before charging forward, only for the Another Rider to send a whirlwind forward, sending her tumbling backwards. "Ow…"

"Yeah we better get in there," Ruby said before taking aim and seeing Another OOO getting up, she began launching fire out of the Taja Spinner to strike and keep the Another Rider grounded.

"On it," Blake leapt back into battle, keeping Gambol Shroud sheathed and getting in Another W's way, blocking a swipe from its hand with her weapon and slicing through the hand.

"Ah it's still not fair," Weiss groaned out. "All I have are punches and kicks and you get all that stuff."

"Well your name is Quiz," Blake reminded. "Your power should be tied to questions."

Weiss just sat on the ground for a bit before suddenly sensing a ton of different almost random information filling her head, "Wait…" She trailed as she suddenly regained her footing. "That's it! Blake!"

Blake looked back, "Yeah?"

"Stand back," Weiss said as she began to walk past Blake, already giving a smirk as she started to realize her powers. "True or False, I use a basic sword in combat."

Another OOO had managed to finally get up and only growl out. Another W meanwhile scratched its head.

"True…" Another W managed to get out.

"Myrtenaster is a Dust revolving rapier, not a basic sword, so the answer is False." Weiss wagged her finger as the X on her chest lit up blue.

Another OOO and W soon howled out as electric blue shocks suddenly appeared on their bodies, the two soon dropping to the ground.

"Whoa…" Yang blinked a few times.

"Oh jeez, the ability to turn questions into weapons…" Ruby trailed with a light shiver. "That would have been terrifying at Beacon…"

"This is very absurd," Tsukuyomi could only get out as she saw the two new Riders before them.

"Let's go for something harder, and not of this world," Weiss declared as she began moving forward.

Another OOO growled out as it lunged towards Weiss only for the newly formed Rider to side step, bat and push its arm away, sending it staggering near Blake.

Another W yelled out before rushing forward, sending a punch at Weiss who easily blocked and grabbed its arm.

"Now then… True or False, the river Seine in Paris is longer than the river Thames in London," Weiss called out as she kept Another W held.

"Uh…" Another W could only groan out in confusion as it had no idea of what Weiss was talking about.

Weiss let go of the Another Riders arm before kicking it away, "The answer is… True."

Another W yelled out as it was given another electric shock, sparks flying as it fell to its knees. It gave a growl before slamming its fists onto the ground. Soon yelling and throwing its hand out, unleashing a small whirlwind towards Weiss.

Weiss gave a yelp, having no chance to defend or dodge and getting thrown back. She quickly got up and assumed a defensive stance with her arms.

Ruby's eyes widened, "Weiss!" She called out before aiming. "Tsuki, Yang, covering fire now!"

Fireballs, explosive shells, and energy blasts soon assaulted Another W in order to force it to stagger.

Blake meanwhile was keeping Another OOO at bay, its attacks more sluggish and predictable now before she pushed it away. "Weiss," She called out. "Focus and try and summon your weapon! We're able to use them and our Semblances still even if it doesn't seem like it!"

"Concentrate," Weiss gave a nod and closed her eyes to focus, lowering her arms and remaining on one knee.

Another W gasped out as it managed to quickly split its body to avoid another set of attacks from Ruby and the others. Reforming it gathered purple flames in its left hand before launching them out.

Weiss opened her eyes before her head perked up, her helmets eyes flashing as she summoned Myrtenaster and held it out. Suddenly a Glyph of hers formed and blocked against the purple flames.

"There we go," Blake smiled before dodging out of the way of an attack from Another OOO. "Let's wrap this up!"

"You took the words right out of my mouth," Weiss said as she began to walk forward, loading Wind Dust before unleashing a whirlwind against a green cyclone that Another W had sent out, both attacks clashing and canceling each other out.

Another W growled out as it began to run towards Weiss, kicking off the ground and using the wind to float itself forward.

"True or False," Weiss called out as she jabbed forward. "I'm the leader of Team RWBY!"

"Wait, what?" Ruby asked.

Myrtenaster jabbed and pierced Another W before it could get close, sparks spewing from it before blue electricity formed around the weapon and shot into the Another Rider.

"The answer is False," Weiss chuckled as she saw Another W drop to the ground as shocks filled its body. "Now then…" She placed Myrtenaster in a reverse grip before taking out the question mark, it changing back to an exclamation point. "True or False, I'm going to kick you to defeat you."

Another W gave a growl as it tried lifting itself up, though stray electric shocks made its body jitter as it was paralyzed, "F-False… it has to be…"

"The answer is…" Weiss slotted the exclamation point back into her Driver before jumping up into the air.

[FINAL QUIZ FLASH!]

Suddenly a grey screen with an orange question mark formed in front of Weiss, it widening into a rectangle as it contained two panels, one with a Red O and the other with a Blue X. Another W looked between both, it was confident that Weiss was going to strike at him with Myrtenaster since she preferred it.

Suddenly the O Panel shattered, Weiss having kicked through it with her left foot as both soles of her boots were filled with energy in the shape of exclamation points. However Weiss reeled her right leg back, shifting and performing a swinging kick that slammed directly into Another W's chest.

[FINISH NINPO!]

Blake's form blurred as she shot towards Another OOO in rapid suggestion, performing an energy filled punch to knock it into the air, sliding past it. She turned as it began to fall, speeding towards it in a blur as she sent an enhanced punched again, keeping it juggled by sending it a bit higher into the air.

Finally she turned and jumped forward, performing a spinning kick with her right leg, purple energy gathering and slamming into Another OOO.

Both Another OOO and W were slammed into the ground next to each other as energy filled their bodies before erupting. Two explosions occurred as both Blake and Weiss landed consecutively after their finishers.

To Ruby and Tsukuyomi's surprise the Anotherwatch's for W and OOO shot out of the explosions before shattering instantly.

"That uh… that usually shouldn't work," Ruby noted.

"It usually takes the Riders Power to defeat the Another Rider," Tsukuyomi agreed with a nod before looking back. "Why did they get destroyed now?"

"Maybe its cause they're new?" Yang shrugged, "Or maybe the Another Rider Watches are unstable when used on someone in Remnant?"

As the smoke cleared though, Weiss and Blake visibly stepped back when they saw who was underneath the Another Rider forms. In the case of Another OOO it was a roughed up White Fang grunt while for Another W was a disheveled Dudley.

Blake got on guard, "A White Fang member?"

Weiss shook her head, "Not only that but that Dudley guy from the Argus Limited?"

"Someone's been picking their targets a bit too well," Ruby narrowed her eyes as she walked over, dismissing her transformation. "I can only assume they've been following us since we left for Argus."

"Dudley at least makes sense," Blake replied, "But the White Fang member?"

"That's the odd pick, especially since they shouldn't have been anywhere near Argus," Weiss agreed.

"Well we've gotten rid of both problems at least," Yang said as she walked over with Tsukuyomi. She then shifted her weapons back into their inactive states.

"She's right," Tsukuyomi agreed. "For now we should get back to searching for Oscar and Sougo."

"I leave my eyes off of you two and suddenly you found the others and there's a second one."

Everyone turned to see Maria finally approaching the plaza with a fed up expression on her face.

"Oh Ms. Calavera," Ruby said before suddenly realizing what had happened. "Wait did you two just leave her behind?"

"She told us to go on ahead because Blake felt the need to chase Another OOO," Yang explained.

"Well it's a good thing I did," Blake said as she dismissed her transformation, the only thing remaining of her Rider Gear being the gourd, "Because otherwise they wouldn't have had backup from us."

"Huh, that's odd…" Weiss admitted as she dismissed her transformation, the only thing remaining being the question pendant. She had felt a similar sensation regarding needing to chase after Another W instead of letting it go. "I suppose it was just our instincts going into overdrive."

"I guess so," Ruby rubbed her arm a bit, remembering something similar before she ran into Another W but also remembering how she felt a similar way back at Brunswick Farms.

"Regardless I don't think these two have any real idea of what they were doing," Maria said, noticing how the White Fang grunt and Dudley were both giving incoherent grumbles as they shifted slightly. "And given all of the noise I suggest we scram before anyone starts questioning us."

"Honestly I can already get a sort of idea of what Dudley was after…" Ruby trailed, remembering how he and Qrow had butted heads on the train. She wondered if the Time Jackers had offered him the power to take revenge. "Either way…"

"We were just about to do that actually," Yang finished.

"It really does seem like they were just showing up randomly then," Weiss realized.

"Then where are Oscar and Sougo?" Blake asked.

"Wherever they are I just hope they're okay," Ruby sighed. "We don't know if there are anymore Another Riders running around."

Unbeknownst to the group the silver clad Woz was watching with a smile plastered on his face, having to keep from laughing out loud and revealing his position. Having witnessed the birth of two Riders he could only help but feel joy. He then looked over at the building across from him, noticing the black cloaked figure was watching the group as well.

"While your plans go up in smoke," The silver clad Woz spoke softly. "Mine continue to grow…" He turned and began to confidently walk away. "The path to The Savior has started… now only one more piece remains before the next step begins…"

Chapter 29: An Unorthodox Solution

Author's Note: Well, well, well, looks like I decided to do two debuts within a singular chapter. So yes, say hello to the ones who will be showcasing the Future Rider Powers. We have Blake taking the power of Shinobi and Weiss taking the power of Quiz. We've got one left and while I won't say when Kikai will show up, it's an easy guess with how little left in Volume 6 we have. That being said, originally the Mirai Riders were going to show up how they normally did. But I figured I'd play a bit more around with them to give them a bit more screen time since I genuinely enjoy all three.

Now please note the wording I used was 'a bit more', and let me give this warning. Don't expect these transformations to be permanent, especially given the role their powers play in Zi-O. I just figured this would make things a bit more interesting in certain regards.

Side Tangent, whoa, would you look at the news that got unveiled recently?! OOO 10 Years After V-Cinext, and I somehow predicted multiple things in it?! Like seriously either I'm psychic, Toei's stealing my ideas, or I had a mind meld with whoever came up with the idea as I was writing that two-parter. Like not only is it having an Ankh Tajador form in it, King OOO is clearly the villain and even the Mukichiri Combo plays some part in it with those enhanced Super looking versions of them. Anyway, with that shock out of the way, I'll see you all next time!
