"Wait, Branchie's a princess, seriously." Crystal asked Casey, while she and Casey were hanging out after Casey had returned from another night of being Raccoon Girl and kickimg tail until she'd gotten a very special invitation from her Groot, Branchie whom was Groot's daughter involving something special, that would be happening on Planet X Groot's homeworld.
"Uh-huh, she explained after giving me the invitation she'd made, yes uncle Rockie is going too only it's strange she never told me, we've been besties since we were really little after I became his kit." Casey replied tapping her furry chin in thought.
"Maybe Groot didn't tell her because he wanted Branchie to have an normal saplinghood and being regal would make everybody treat her differently, I know." Crystal assured her making Casey guess, she was right knowing Branchie would always be her best Groot friend and sister, tiara or no tiara.
"Awww maybe you should tell her this, she might think you and theother kids might treat her different." Crystal said making the female raccon-cub nodding hearing Rocket sound frantic making them hope, it wasn't his tail again seeing him shake his furry head.
"Branchie, she disappeared and we can't find her, we have to practice for her ceremony." he told them which made Casey and Crystal exchange a look guessing what was going on especially Casey.
"What if we try, while you and uncle Groot prepare." Casey told him.
"Alright, you know her the best, go ahead." he told her.
"I know what's going on with Branchie." she whispered to Crystal.
The magenta-furred and haired girl nodded following her guessing it was like playing hide and seek, seeing a grin on Casey's furry face, saying that was one of Branchie's favourite games thinking like her, scampering off at super-speed.
"Casey slow down, I can't see or keep up with you, when you do that." Crystal said but found Casey in the kitchens remembering like her dad, Branchie had a sweet tooth seeing Branchie eating cake hugging her, seeing her happy, then it faded.
"I am Groot, I am Groot." she said crossing her arms across her chest.
"I get it Branchie, but I'm always gonna love you, tiara or no tiara, I've been through this being a princess myself, well where Crystal and my birth-parents come from besides Japan and I dreaded my own crowning ceremony as I thought it meant that I couldn't be Raccoon Girl anymore, instead having to sit on a throne, but Crystal showed me I could be both, is that why you're scared, Branchie." Casey told her.
Branchie nodded climbing onto her shoulderwhispering into her furry lil ear which made Crystal wonder what was happening, as Casey was nodding in reply giggling leaving the kitchens relieving both Groot and Rocket, only Casey made the time-out sign with her paws.
"Branchie has something, to tell you involving the ceremony." she told them.
"Okay but it's to do with why she ran off, right." Rocket replied seeing her nod.
"It's okay we're right here by your side." Casey reassured Branchie.
She then explained herself and how she was feeling about the crowning-ceremony that others including them might treat her differently because she was a princess which made them get it seeing her dad hug her alomg with Rocket, telling her that wouldn't happen.
"Yeah, as uncle Rockie knows I'm regal but doesn't treat me differently." Casey toldher.
This made Branchie feel better wrapping her vines around them in a hug, making them laugh knowing the crowning-ceremony would be special make her dad proud despite making him and Rocket cry.
That early-evening at dinner, Casey was quiet making her mom, Pupia along with Peach and Raya wonder if she was alright, seeing the female-cub nodding in reply as helping Branchie with feeling better about it made her think about Honey along with Peach and Raya, if they would have crowning-ceremonies too.
"I think so, that's a good question sweetie." Pupia whispered to Casey making her grin wanting to tell Peach and Raya they were princesses too, now they were sisters making Rocket grin in reply at this knowing Caseyhad helped Branchie feel better about her crowning-ceremony knowing it would be fun.
