"Can I go back yet, as I wanna help Peach and Rayasettle in, you're the vice-dean." Casey said.
"I know you wanna help them, but Carol's the dean, I have other things to worry about." Rocket said.
It was a few days after Peach and Raya who were Casey's best-friends had been accidentally exposed to terragen-crystals and gotten powers but also enrolled in Avengers Campus so Casey wanted to help them forgetting being banned from campus for a while and only Rocket could let her back in, but being her big bro, he wasn't listening right now which was frustrating feeling her whiskers spark with electrical energy which happened when she was frustrated unaware he'd noticed staring.
"Ummm, is that normie for you." he asked surprised as she nodded.
"Yes, when I get frustrated, when big brothers don't listen to you." she said.
"Sorry about that kiddo, but just worried about Shocket, she's on the streets." he said.
Thismade Casey surprised hearing this asking him, how that happened so he was telling her, seeing a horrified look on her furry face at what Linda had did to Shocket making him agreeing so he and the others were trying to find her including the other Rockets especially Rocke whom Shocket thought of as a big brother.
"Whoa, how did you get that awesome mech, did you make it." Casey asked him seeing him in a mech suit which had a giant blaster on his left arm seeing the chest-piece lower revealing Rocket in a spacious chair, as he'd made it being jealous the other Avengers had mech-armour grinning at her question.
"Yeah, I did make it thanks to the other Avengers." he told her blasting off as he'd put a rocket-pack on the mech's armoured back making Casey grin but she wanted to help find her cousin asking how she ended up on the streets making Rocket look anxious as he didn't want her to judge Linda by her actions sighing telling her seeing her eyes widen in shock.
"Yeah, but Shockie pretending to be a robot was to just not protect the timeline, but also Linda butit was for love." he said seeing Rocke join him making her in awe as he looked like John Lennon making Rocket chuckle askijg if the others knew that Shocket was out there on the streets.
"Hai, Steamboat is helping only I told him to watch his mouth, but we're all worried about her, mate as she saved us from Captain R but he's imorisoned in the raboon moon I told you about." he said seeing him curious about Casey as Rocket introduced her to him but also Rocke to her explaining.
"Woah, Shockie became awesome saving the multiverse but Linda shouldn't have done that." she said.
"Yes love, as she didn't deserve that, but let's hope she's okay, hey Rockette what's going on." Rocke said seeing a female-version of Rocket holding something that looked familiar, Shocket's armour.
"Steamboat found it in a trash can when we were searching, meaning she's running around without, you alright." she said seeing Rocket having a worried look on his face feeling Casey squeeze his paw gently which he appreciated hoping Animal Control wouldn't try to capture his lil troublemakers only right now, she'd lost her fight after what Linda did making him hiss.
"Woah, so your cousin's living on the streets, we thought Linda was her friend, how're you feeling about this." Peach asked Casey after she'd met up with her besties at their tree-fort but they'd told her about how classes were goijg surprised by the fact Shocket had been forved out of the New Warriors by Linda and living on the streets knowing from street-cubs how rough that was as she brought them food as Raccoon Girl gettijg an idea knowing what Shocket's favourite treats were including her beloved Dr Pepper, it might draw Shocket out so she could check on her, then tell her brother and the other Rockets how she was doing.
"That's a pretty good plan, Raccoon Girl, thinking like the hero you are." Raya told her making Casey sigh deciding not to tell Rocket just yet knowing how worried he was about Shocket, taking a deep-breath that night suiting up into her Raccoon Girl armour flying into the night with a trash nag full of her cousin's favourite treats hoping some of her street-cub friends might know if they'd seen Shocket smiling seeing one of them getting her attention landing.
"We found this cub with a tangerine-pink mohawk and brought her to our den, come see." she said making Casey relieved following him to the den where a lot of street-cubs huhg out and lived which she knew about visiting a lot especially during the holidays bringing leftovers from Thanksgiving which Rocket knew about and let her do as she was grateful seeeing a lot of her friends happy seeing her especially the older raccoon female who ran this shelter-den saying she'd fouhd this mohawked female-cub who needed help making Casey stunned, it was Shocket but she looked thin like she hadn't eaten in a lojg while, her fur had hecame shaggy and her mohawk had fallen down making her feel bad for her cousin.
"Hey Shockie, I brought you some things but your dad and the other hims are looking for you, they're concerned." she said.
"… W-what're you doin here, how did you find me." Shocket replied softly.
"Ms Stripes, can we have some privacy, please." Casey asked her.
"Sure honey, as she was mumbling about you and Rocket, when I found her." she replied makijg Casey feel bad for her cousin seeing Stripes hand her a bowl full of soup with a spoon telling her to persuade Shocket to eat as she hadn't eaten in days seeing Casey nod.
"I'll try Ms Stripes, thanks." she said seeing cuts, bruises and bumps over her cousin'sfur taking a photo to show Rocket what happened wrapping a blanket around her being gentle hearing Shocket whisper thanks.
"Ssshhhh you're welcome but you gotta eat, it's weird seeing you thin." she told her feeding her with a spoon which she was appreciating along with eating chocolate surprising Stripes.
"I should get going Ms Stripes but take care of Shocket." she said leaving.
