"What's wrong, Shockie, why is Demetra causing trouble again." Casey asked her cousin.
It was a few months later and Shocket had met and fallen in love with Itsy-Bitsy Parker and had introduced her to their family which had made Demetra freaked out and ran off ijto the night which had bothered her and Rocket plus she'd tried using the remnants of her mental link with her sister of sorts but she wasn't listening until she'd heard reports of a black mohawked cub stealing food and momey from tourists, which gave her hope so she could talk to Demetra, sensing something bothered her.
"I don't know why, but hope she's not in danger." Shocket mumbled sensing her twin-sister's aura hearing sniffles from Demetra finding hernear a hollowed out tree in Central Park seeing Demetra wiping away tears with her paw, explaining that she'd been living in this tree and another female-cub her age abd her had hit it off but she'd had feelings for her and after revealing her feelijgs, the other cub said she'd just wanted to be friends which had hurt her heart, just like what Linda had did to her, wrapping her arms around her hearing her howl cry like her and her das, when upset.
"Ssshhhh Demetra it's goijg to be okay, I've been through this too, because of Linda but Itsy and I fell in love so you'll find aa better soulmate who will love you for you, where's your dad Rocko." she said as Casey was impressed by how gentle Shocket was being with Demetra
"He's somewhere sis, your pops and him don't get alomg after being hit by that personality splitter." she told her making Casey remembering Rocket tellijg her about Rocko and how he'd caused major mischief on Avengers Campus pretending to be her brother like putting Carol in a web-cocoon and giving students booze until Rocket had straightened things out, so Rocko, Demetra's father or adopted pops had been banned from the campus, giving Casey an idea knowing the forest area was off-campus.
"Good thinkijg, come on sis let's go find him, he's worrying just like my pops." Shocket told Demetra as they left entering the forest-area hearing soft calling as it was Rocko looking worried and his matted fur looked more matted, his eyes had sadness in them like he'd been crying making Casey sense that maybe Rocko did care about something,
"Hide behind the tree Casey, as he'll smell my dad off you." she whispered to Casey seeing her nodding hiding behind the tree as Demetra and Shocket were walking towards where Rocko was, seeing him hugging Demetra thanking Shocket as she explained to him what happened making him understanding, as he was thin making her ask if he was okay hearing him saying he and Demetra lived in a cave in the forest.
"Wow, we should find a better den for you guys to live in." Shocket said softly.
"Okay, but the forest-animals have the nice dens." Rocko replied to her.
"Let me think about it, as Incan solve problens." Shocket told him.
"Okay kiddo, and keep this a secret from your dad." Rocko replied.
"Okay uncle Rocko, be careful." Shocket replied to him.
Casey and her then left returning to Gamora and Rocket's house as it was sunrise seeing Rocket relieved they were safe as Shocket told him that Demetra had needed help which he understood.
Later, Shocket was on her tablet looking at the Avengers Campus grounds, finding a great den in the forest which Rocko abd Demetra could live, making Rocket sigh wondering what she was doing, making her nervous because she'd promised her uncle not to tell her dad, saying it was a special project impressing him.
"Did you find a den for them.." Casey whispered, appearing out of thin air.
"Uh-huh but my dad almost found out, about it." she replied to her.
"We should tell him about this, you know." she said to her.
"Yeah, he'd blow a gasket if he knew but Denetra deserves a safe home." Shocket said, warm tears falling down her furry cheeks astounding Casey understanding as Demetra and Shocket were twin sisters guessing something had happened which Demetra had shared with her.
"Yes, she and Rocko, they were on the streets like me after what youknow-who did, they struggled more than me." she said sniffling feeling Casey squeezing her paw gently, handing her a tissue that was lavender-scented her cousin's favourite scent.
"Thank you Casey, but my dad might not get it." " she told her.
