Once they were in the office, Zak went to a table on the side and rolled out the floorplans before he called Julia and Eliza over. "You two are up first," he told the latter.

"Okay," Eliza said a little shyly. She looked around and pointed to a room on the second floor.

"That's your room, isn't it?" Aaron asked, watching her.

"Yeah," Eliza said. "That's where Nellie is right now, and she says we can go to the hallway to play too. There's nothing there."

"I'm glad to hear that," Zak said. "Go."

"Right now?" Eliza asked in obvious surprise.

"Definitely," Zak said.

"You'll be alright," Castle said when the little girl rushed over to him and Beckett. He hugged her and said, "Stay with Aaron."

"I will," Eliza said before she turned to her mother.

"And don't let anyone else go to you," Beckett said, hoping she'd worded that right though Eliza was nodding shortly after that.

"Grandmama and Mamó will watch me," Eliza said before she hurried over to the paranormal investigator. She took the bag of toys the men had brought, and they left the office before they went to the staircase, Aaron talking to her jokingly as they started up.

"Too bad we don't have an elevator," he told her.

Smiling Eliza said, "You're tired already?"

"Yeah," Aaron said before he pretended to breathe hard.

Giggling, Eliza saw they were at the second floor, and she said, "This way."

Following the little girl, Aaron saw she had a key and he asked, "When did you grab that?"

"When I said goodnight to my gram," Eliza replied before she knocked on the door. After she'd unlocked it, she peered inside and said, "Nellie? Me and Aaron are here, is it okay to come in?" She saw the little girl peering out of the bathroom and smiled back at her before she told the paranormal investigator behind her, "It's okay."

"Hi Nellie," Aaron said when they stepped inside, turning to close the door behind him.

"Don't close that," Eliza said in a rush. "She wants to go outside and play."

"Now?" Aaron asked.

Looking at the little girl, Eliza laughed when Nellie passed her before she said, "Yeah, she already walked out."

"Okay, let me start the camera," Aaron said, turning it on. "Is there anything you want to use? Any device?"

Looking at the few Aaron had brought with them, Eliza nodded and picked up the R.E.M. pod and the bouncy ball in the bag. "These," she said. "She's wondering about this."

"Will you tell her what to do?" Aaron asked her.

"Yeah," Eliza said before they went outside. She walked down the hall a little before she stopped and set down the pod before she said, "Nellie, if you want to talk to us you need to walk by this or wave at the pod. It'll beep and if you do that once or twice, we'll know if you're saying yes or no."

"Go ahead," Aaron told her with a smile when she turned to him.

Nodding, Eliza looked down the hall and asked, "Nellie, are you happy here?"

Aaron couldn't help feeling surprised at that serious of a question from the little girl before the pod beeped once. He watched Eliza bounce the ball and he told her, "Ask if she wants to play… or roll it."

Eliza was about to speak when there was a beep, and she tried to speak again when there was another one. "Okay, I'll roll it for you. I hope you can roll it back but if not that's okay."

"Is it okay she's saying that?" Castle asked Zak and Billy, Julia having left for down the hall to the opposite side of the first floor with Jay to investigate.

"I warned everyone about her being drained for energy," Zak said. "Since Skye warned me that might happen with her and Julia."

"You talked to them though," Beckett said to her friend.

"I did, very sternly because I don't want them to be exhausted or… pass out," Skye answered. "What about the others?"

Turning to the x-camera that was in the private room, Billy said, "Looks like they just got there," turning on the sound for them.

"Why exactly did we come here?" Jay asked Julia.

"I feel like there's something happy here," the teen said. "But what I don't know… also weird because of what happened in some places here."

"What would you like to do?" Jay inquired after he'd set up the devices, they'd brought with them.

"This one," Julia answered, going immediately to the paranormal puck. "I feel like this is going to be the best one," she said before Jay was asking her about that in slight concern.

"You're sure you're getting a positive feeling here?" the paranormal investigator asked.

"Yeah, but what if it's just residual?" Julia asked while she watched Jay turning on the device.

"We'll probably move to another spot," he told her, getting the camera he had ready and turned on.

"That would be alright?" Mari asked.

Nodding, though she wasn't sure Jay could see that, Julia turned to the tablet and said to the room, "I'm Julia, this is Mari and Jay, he's been here before, but this is mine and Mari's first time here. I hope you don't mind if I ask some questions, do you mind if I ask?"

Filming her typing that out on the screen, Jay was surprised when there was an immediate answer as the tablet was saying the word question. "Keep going," he said when he saw the teen was looking up at him through his camera's screen.

"Are you happy here," Julia asked, typing that out. She smiled when she saw the word vacation pop up and was about to think of another question when the words home and prayer came up.

"Ask how many spirits are here," Jay urged her when she turned to him immediately.

"How many spirits are here right now," Julia typed out and spoke. When the number twenty was the response, she jumped up and said, "I feel them now."

"Do you need to go?" Mari asked in concern, watching her turning to look to the opposite side of the room.

Not answering, Julia picked up the tablet and typed out her next question before she told the paranormal investigator, "I asked if anyone was angry in the twenty that were here."

"No answer," Jay said while they were looking at the screen.

"Should I ask again?" Julia told him.

"I would," Mari said.

"Yeah, try," Jay urged her.

After she'd typed out the question again, Julia was a little surprised when there was an answer that time as it said the words, safe and prayer again. "I think it's a monk," she said.

"Me too, are you okay talking to him?" Jay asked. When she shook her head he said, "Alright, let's try and head to another place and set up there."

"No, I think this monk is going to stay around here," Julia told him. "I think he likes this floor since it's safer than the top of the turret. The other two floors are too close to it."

"Okay, we better go," Jay said before they were leaving the room and walking back to nerve center.

"I'm okay," Julia said while she and Mari walked out of the room first.

"You knew I was going to ask?" the girl asked with a smile.

"I did, now just wait for my mom to ask," Julia told her friend, smiling as well.

"Are you alright?" Beckett said, rushing to her second oldest as soon as she saw her.

"Yeah, just didn't feel like I could talk to him," the teen replied before she looked at Zak when he spoke.

"Do you think we should try to contact him?" the paranormal investigator said.

"Try," Julia said, shrugging.

"I think you might be able to," Skye said. "No, I don't want to," she said when the three men turned to her. "I don't think it would work out well. But Eliza and Aaron?"

Turning to the monitor, Beckett saw the pair were bouncing the ball to one another in the hall before she said, "It looks like they're fine."

"That would be Nellie," Billy said.

"Do you two want to head up to them on the way to the third floor?" Zak asked Skye.

Shaking her head the investigator said, "The restaurant, you should head up there."

"You think?" Zak replied.

"If she wants you to leave, I'm sure she'll tell Eliza," Skye said, reaching for the camera Jay was holding. "Keep an eye on us though if it gets dark, we're right back."

"Wait," Zak said. "Before you go, Kate will you and Rick head up to the room where the woman jumped out the window at some point?"

"With who?" Beckett asked.

"Billy," Zak answered when he saw his fellow investigator raising his hand.

"You won't send Julia out, will you?" Castle asked after his wife and Skye had left.

"No, you told me you wanted to keep an eye on her," Zak said. "And I know you'll help them watch Skye and Kate."

"And me," Mary told him firmly.

Nodding, Zak left the office and headed up to the second floor, calling up to the pair before he reached them. "Did you guys get a lot?"

"You weren't listening?" Aaron asked.

"We were watching Julia and Jay," Zak answered. "Can I join you or will Nellie not like that?"

"Um… she left," Eliza said. "I think she's a little scared now."

"Then let's pack up so you can head back downstairs," Zak said.

"Where's my sister?" Eliza asked him when Aaron went back into the room.

"She's in the office," Zak replied.

"Are Mommy and Daddy doing something?" Eliza inquired.

"Your mom went with Skye to the restaurant," Zak said. "Your dad is in the room with your sister."

Nodding once, though the paranormal investigator couldn't see it, Eliza took the bag Aaron brought out from the room and they left the hall. She paused at the stairs and called back, "Bye Nellie!"

"Did you feel that?" Aaron asked Zak.

"Yeah, that was her," he replied with a nod.

"That was her saying goodbye to you Aaron, since you can't hear her," Eliza said.

"Thanks Nellie, we'll be around if you want to talk," the paranormal investigator said before they were heading back downstairs to the office.

As soon as Eliza appeared in the room, Julia rushed over to her and said, "You're okay," her sister smiling and replying immediately.

"You too," Julia said. She then grew serious and glanced at the monitor saying, "But Mom's with Skye." She wasn't surprised when Eliza rushed to the table Billy and Zak were sitting at before their father tried to grab her.

"No, I want to watch Mommy," Eliza told him. "To make sure she's okay."

"She can stay," Zak said. "You too Julia, let us know if you notice anything."

"We will," the teen answered as they leaned against the table and watched the square with their mother and Skye.

"Why exactly are we down here?" Beckett was asking the investigator.

"Well, something came to me that speaking to a spirit here was alright," Skye said. She paused in putting the spirit box and Ovilus she'd felt compelled to bring before she looked at her friend. "I can't see you so I can imagine you're not best pleased by that explanation?" she said.

"Not really," Beckett said.

"You're not going to like my actual reason," Skye warned her, turning on the flashlight she had. "The guys can hear us but give me a second Zak."

"Take what time you want but the spirits are going to get annoyed and leave," the paranormal investigator said.

Laughing with Beckett for a moment, Skye called, "After I tell her." She turned to her friend and said quietly, "You need to handle the Spirit Box."

"And I'm assuming ask questions?" Beckett asked.

"They'll respond to you," Skye said.

"Why?" Beckett replied immediately.

"I don't know, they want to speak to you? But I'm standing with you just in case," Skye added. She reached for the Spirit Box and turned it on before she took Beckett's hand and had her take it before she said, "You know what they ask, and you've done this before."

"I know," Beckett replied, taking the Spirit Box. "Is anyone here with us?" she asked first for a base question.

Listening to the sweeps, Skye wasn't surprised when there was no answer and she told her friend, "I think they realize we know already."

"Yeah," Beckett said. "How many spirits are here?"

"…many…" the box said in its sweeps.

"They can't stay there," Castle said to the crew as soon as he'd heard that.

"Hold on," Zak said.

"Are you evil?" Skye was asking after Beckett had squeezed her arm.

"No… stay…" the box said.

"Why do you want us to stay?" Skye asked then. The box suddenly let out a loud electronic noise and she covered her ears with her hands while Beckett shoved away the box on the table to do the same.

"Skye, Kate, get out of there!" Zak said over the walkie-talkie as soon as the high-pitched sound stopped.

"Leave everything and go!" Mary said, taking the device from the paranormal investigator to speak to her wife.

Doing exactly that, Skye and Beckett sprinted to the stairs and went up them as fast as they could before they were in the office, breathing heavily while their loved ones walked up to them with Julia talking to her mother first.

"Are you okay?" the teen asked worriedly.

"We got out of there in time," Skye answered before Beckett could say anything. "But I don't want to know what that was." She turned to the monitor and leaned into it asking, "Is the door to the kitchen open?"

"I don't think so," Aaron answered. "But that door does swing so…"

"You both knew that," Billy said to them.

"Yeah, now let's continue," Skye said firmly. "Mary?"

"You're not taking me down there, are you?" the doctor asked in obvious concern.

"No, I think we should head down to the rooms on the second floor where you two didn't go," Skye explained.

"Will you take Jay with you?" Zak asked.

"Sure, I was going to suggest it," Skye said.

"Alright, then Billy will you take Rick and Kate to the room," Zak asked him.

"Sure," the paranormal investigator said before he stood up and grabbed a camera.

"Actually, take an SLS camera," Zak told him. "And something-"

"The puck," Julia interrupted him. Seeing the adults looking at her she said, "I get the feeling Mom should take that."

"Stay with her Daddy," Eliza then said.

"I will," Castle promised, watching his wife taking the tablet and puck before they were walking after Billy with the special camera.

"Are you guys ready for this?" the paranormal investigator asked the couple after they'd parted from Skye and Mary.

"I think so," Castle said. "Though the story behind it is… a little scary for us."

"Yeah," Billy said. "But I know that's why Zak has you two going," he added, since the woman in the room had jumped out the window when she'd found out her loved one was dead.

"Hopefully we get something for him," Beckett said before they had reached it and they waited for Billy to open the door.

"Go ahead inside first," he told the pair. "See how the room feels and where you might be comfortable talking to the woman."

"I'll go first," Castle told his wife firmly. He was surprised when she nodded before he was stepping inside and glancing around. Since he couldn't see anything, he took in the ambiance of the room but was surprised not to sense anything. "This room might be broken," he told the others.

"Get out of the way," Beckett told her husband laughingly. She walked inside after him before she looked around as he had before she used her flashlight so she wouldn't run into the bed.

"Wait, you want to stand here?" Castle asked in surprise.

"Yes," Beckett told him seriously, at the window.

"Okay," Castle said, leaning back against the wall next to the window with her.

"I have the SLS on," Billy told the pair when they turned to him. "If I notice anything I'll tell you."

"Should I start asking questions?" Beckett asked him.

"Yeah, I might walk around too," Billy informed them.

Letting her husband take the puck to set it on the bed in front of them, Beckett waited until he was back with her before she asked the first question while she typed it, "Ma'am, are you here with us right now," doing her best not to roll her eyes though she knew it was a legitimate question.

"Nothing," Castle said, watching the screen of the tablet.

"Ask another," Billy told her.

"Do you want to talk to us?" Beckett said and typed. There was a response shortly after, the puck saying the word man.

"Which one of us," Castle said as his wife typed that.

"Both of you," Beckett told the pair since there was no response. "Do you want to take the tablet?" she asked her husband.

Castle nodded at first before he realized his wife wouldn't be able to see and he quickly said, "Okay." Once he had it in his hands he said, "Do you want to ask?"

"She indicated she wanted to talk to you," Beckett replied easily.

"Would you want just one of us to be here?" Castle asked. He was surprised when there was no response but soon after began speaking again. He wasn't sure how long he was asking different questions and getting no answers. He tried to get his wife to ask some, but he could just see her shaking her head before he eventually asked Billy, "Should we stop?"

"There's something wrong with my back," Beckett suddenly said.

"What?" Castle asked in concern since she suddenly squeezed his arm tightly.

"What is it?" Billy said at the same time.

"It feels like something's pressing on me, trying to make me bend over," Beckett told them, tense next to her husband as he held her hand and arm.

Hurrying around to the side of the couple, Billy filmed her before he said, "There's a figure there. On your back."

"Should I brush it off?" Castle asked in concern.

"No, it might go to you," Billy said. "Ask her to go."

"I know you don't want them here but she's my wife," Castle said, not sure why he'd said those exact words. "Please stop hurting her."

"It's gone," Billy said at the same time Beckett straightened up.

"We're going back downstairs," Castle said before he took his wife and led her out the door, grabbing the puck on the way. As soon as they were in the lobby, he led her to the doors leading outside and said, "Let me-" before she interrupted him quickly.

"In here," Beckett said, taking him around behind the lobby desk. "I'll hold my shirt up," she told him. "But I'm alright, I don't feel anything now."

Shining the flashlight he had on her back, Castle saw she was right, and he said, "Okay," before he wrapped his arms around her once she turned to him.

"That was the weirdest thing," Beckett said in slight confusion.

"I can imagine," Castle said, gently rubbing his hand over her back before he realized they weren't alone in the lobby.

"Can we check in?" Julia asked her parents jokingly though she was worried, stepping up to the front desk. She smiled a little when they turned to her and Eliza before she and her sister were rushing around to them stepping out. "We heard you, are you okay? Is your back okay?" she asked in concern.

"Your dad just checked and it's fine," Beckett assured them, taking them both in her arms. "But I'm not going back to that room." She looked at her husband and said, "Neither are you."

"Oh, don't worry, I wasn't planning on it," Castle said.

"Did the lady want just you there Daddy?" Eliza asked, hurrying over to him.

Picking her up Castle told her, "I think so," before they were walking back to the office.

"Everything okay?" Zak asked them.

"She's fine, it was just while we were in that room," Castle said.

"Alright, there's one thing I want you guys to do," Zak told them. "And it involves you two if you still want to join us."

"As long as it's not in the basement," Paul said, looking at his wife.

"I'm thinking the second floor," Zak said though he was looking at Julia.

Turning to look back out into the hall, Julia took a moment before she said, "I think that's alright. But we can't go in the rooms. Oh-"

"The end of the hallway by the window, that's the best place," Eliza said eagerly after she'd interrupted her sister.

"The same floor?" Castle asked.

"No, the third floor," Julia and Eliza said at the same time. They smiled when the others laughed briefly before Julia said. "I know it's up by that turret, but I think at the window we're going to go to is far enough away."

"Who's going?" Billy asked.

"Aaron," Zak said.

"Huh?" the paranormal investigator said jokingly.

"Go up with the girls and McCartneys," Zak said, rolling his eyes briefly. "Take the Ovilus and a recorder and just that."

"Actually," Julia said slowly. "Do you mind if we take the puck instead. I think they like it when I talk to them with that."

"You've had luck with it so far," Jay commented.

"Okay, then the five of you go up with that and the recorder," Zak said.

"Anything else?" Aaron asked when he didn't continue.

"No, let these two direct everything," Zak said, laughing with the others when the girls were nodding.

"Okay, then we better go," Aaron told them before they were leaving the office.

"Be careful," Beckett told them.

"You're not worried, are you?" Skye asked, stepping up to her friend.

"Are you?" Beckett said in response, her eyebrow raised.

"Just trying to get a read and you're right, all that was just in the room," Skye said.

"What're you thinking grá," Mary told her wife suspiciously.

"I'll tell you later, they're reaching the camera at that hallway," Skye said swiftly before they were watching the monitor while Aaron was speaking near the x-camera.

"Okay, I think you two are going to have to lead us since we have no idea what's going on," Aaron said.

"Do you feel like there are bad spirits here?" Eliza asked him.

"No," Aaron said after he was looking around the hallway. "Is anyone here at all?" he asked.

Turning to a door when there was a tap Nancy said, "I think there is now at least."

"Do you sense anything?" Julia asked the McCartneys.

"Like it's…" Paul said in confusion.

"Like it's happy here, you can be happy," Eliza said swiftly. She turned to her sister standing next to her and asked, "Can we try the puck now?"

"Yeah," Julia said. "Put it here in the middle of the hall by us."

"Not by that room?" Aaron asked, filming them.

"No, they're out in the hall now," Eliza said, hurrying to do what her sister had said. "Who's asking now?"

"Both of us," Julia said, glancing at Mari.

"No, you two do that better," the girl said before Julia handed the tablet to Paul.

"I thought you lot were asking," the singer said in amusement as he took it.

"We will, can you type for us?" Julia asked.

"Alright," Paul answered.

"Okay," Julia said, watching him. "First, I want to ask is do you have a name?" When the tablet said Adam she said, "Hi Adam, how old are you?"

"It's a kid," Aaron said when the tablet said ten.

"It is," Eliza told him reassuringly before they were turning to the puck in the hall when they heard the word good. "See? He said he's good. Why are you here Adam?"

Hearing the tablet saying vacation and auto Zak said, "I wonder if they came to this when it started as a hotel."

"I don't think so," Skye commented. "It wasn't a hotel until 1968."

"The Eisenbeises?" Zak asked her. At the investigator's nod he was going to reach for the walkie-talkie when Beckett was stilling his hand. He was about to ask what was wrong when he looked at the monitor as Julia started to speak.

"Were you a guest of the people who lived here," she began. "What were their names?" she said to Aaron.

"Eisenbeis, were you a guest of them?" the paranormal investigator asked.

When the tablet said visit and family Julia said, "They had family?"

"It's possible," Aaron replied. "Ask if he's always been here."

Watching the group talking with the tablet Skye left the office before she headed down the hall to the private room at the restaurant they'd been at for dinner. "I'm not surprised you followed me," she commented while she turned to the door.

"I did call to you," Beckett said. "So you wouldn't think I was a spirit or something."

Nodding briefly Skye asked, "How're you doing?"

"With this?" Beckett said.

"Yeah, I know you've done this before, but it is weird if you're not used to it," Skye commented, walking over to her.

"I'm taking everything as it comes," Beckett stated, touching her friend's arm so she would know where she was exactly.

"What are you doing here Skye?" Mary asked, she and Castle walking up to them.

"I felt the need to test things here," the investigator explained, not surprised at her wife's slightly exasperated response.

"Without anyone?" Mary said.

"Kate's here," Skye told her.

"Luckily, come on, they're coming back from downstairs," Mary said.

"Already?" Skye asked in surprise.

"Adam left them," Castle said.

"Suddenly?" Skye said. When the writer nodded, she asked, "What time is it?"

"Time for the kids to go outside," Beckett answered firmly.

"It is," Skye said, using her flashlight to check the time. "But you two are taking care of that."

"Are we staying?" Castle asked his wife.

"Yes," Beckett assured him. "Though I'd like to let the others go around a little before we do."

"Sure," Castle said swiftly. They reached the office just as the group returned from the third floor and he said to the girls, "You got a lot of evidence."

"Oh no," Julia said immediately. "I think we have to leave."

"Not yet!" Eliza cried.

"You…" Castle started to say before he trailed off in amusement seeing the little girl yawning widely.

"Don't laugh," Eliza told him with a frown.

"We're not," Beckett told her. "But your sister is right, you need to go to bed."

"You're taking us?" Julia asked.

"That's our break," Beckett said to her husband with a smile when he turned to her in confusion.

"Okay," Castle said easily. "And yes, we're taking you to the RV. Please be careful not to wake everyone up. Including your sister," he said to Julia, adding the last hurriedly since Louis and Alexis were taking all the older kids with them in one RV for the night.

"We will," Julia said, glancing at her friend.

"Yeah, I'll be careful," Mari said swiftly, looking at the office as the other three paranormal investigators were walking out to them.

"You got some great evidence," Zak commented first. "And we'll look at it before dinner to let you know what we got. Especially the recorder you had on."

Eliza giggled, since she'd sneaked turning it on, and she said, "I was whispering into it."

"I could tell," the four men said.

"How-" Eliza said in surprise.

"I was filming you and your sister when you were asking the questions," Aaron said, the little girl having been looking at him.

"Oh… I hope you found something!" Eliza said.

"Hopefully," Jay said in amusement at the girl's mistake in tense. "And we'll tell you like we said."

After the men, the McCartneys and the McDouglases had said goodnight to the three girls, Castle and Beckett went to the lobby doors. He had the keys and unlocked it, locking it behind them when they left so the investigation could continue inside before Julia was talking to him while he caught up to them.

"Are you sure Mari and I can't stay a little longer?" Julia asked.

"No, it's past midnight already," Beckett answered before her husband could.

"Really?" Eliza asked in surprise.

"Yes, we told you we were going to let you stay up as long as you slept earlier," Castle told her and her sister. "Luckily you did."

"My parents said the same," Mari added before they had reached the RV Eliza was in with the younger kids and grandparents. She watched Julia say goodnight to her parents and little sister before they were heading to their RV next door. She stopped her friend and asked, "Why did I go?"

"You did what you were supposed to," Julia said firmly. She could just see the expression on her friend's face and smiled telling her, "Keep me safe."

"Of course," Mari said before they were trying to smother their laughter.

Exchanging a tight hug with her friend, Julia opened the door with the key she had, and they headed up the steps inside. She glanced back in time to see her parents were walking to the castle, and she headed inside while she hoped they'd be alright the rest of their investigation.

"I hope here is good enough," Aaron said.

"What, you're exhausted already?" Zak asked him.

"Yeah, I haven't ridden a bike in… ages," Aaron said in mock annoyance.

"I think you need to ask the parents if this spot's good for lunch," Billy told him.

"Oh yeah," Aaron said, turning to the others before Skye spoke first.

"I think we're good," the investigator told the four. "The question is are you guys ready for a picnic lunch?"

"I've had a picnic before," Aaron said.

When the other men were saying they had Liam laughed and commented, "I think we should start lass, the kids have left already."

"Okay, then everyone disembark," Skye called.

"Were you planning on going further?" Beckett asked her friend while they were getting off the bikes.

"Yeah, I figured you would all want to get away from the ships," Skye replied.

"I don't know, I thought that was a nice touch," Paul said.

Laughing Julia said, "Skye planned that just for you."

Shaking his head, Paul said, "For you kids."

"Come on Paul," Nancy told her husband, taking his hand and pulling him down the sand until they were stopping where some of the kids had already moved to before Brad was talking to his two oldest in mock annoyance.

"Why are you way out here?" the chief was saying.

"We wanted to get a look at the shells here," Jacob commented.

"Are we in trouble?" Eve asked.

"No, just come here and get your sister," Brad told them before he was helping his wife getting a blanket laid out.

Once they were set, Castle passed out their food and said, "Hopefully this place is good."

"It's just sandwiches," Beckett told her husband.

"How far are we going to ride now?" Eliza asked eagerly as she took her sandwich.

"We haven't even started to eat yet," Castle replied in amusement.

"I'm just wondering," Eliza said.

"They haven't looked at the evidence yet," Julia told her little sister.

"Oh, I forgot," Eliza said, slumping back.

"It's alright," Beckett said. "And they'll tell us, don't worry."

Nodding, Eliza took a bite out of her sandwich before she looked at the water and asked her parents, "Can we walk in the water? Just a little bit?"

"Once we test it," Castle replied.

"That might be a no," David called.

"It's cold?" Castle asked.

"It's the Pacific," Mary said in mock outrage. She laughed with the others and said, "Yeah, it is. Though I wonder if you might be able to go in a little."

"Is that you trying to tell us to decide for each kid?" Lily asked her.

"Basically," Mary said. She wasn't surprised when the other parents were laughing until her wife was calling to the GA crew.

"Where are you guys heading next?" Skye asked.

"Augusta, Maine," Billy said.

"Really," Skye replied.

"Yeah," Zak said simply. He saw everyone was looking at them and he laughed and said, "I guess we have to tell you, the Colonial Theater."

"They're restoring it," Jay said. "And the owner got in touch with us."

"You might need to smudge afterwards," Skye said.

"We will, like we did in the basement," Zak said.

"Did something happen?" Julia asked in concern.

"A pile of plates got knocked over in the kitchen," Aaron said.

"You had a camera in there didn't you?" Paul asked.

"We did, luckily," Zak said.

"When can we see that?" Marie asked.

"The episode," Zak replied.

"You knew they were going to do that," Kathleen said to hers and Marie's younger sisters when they protested.

"Still, we want to see!" Ivy said.

"You'll listen to the evidence, we promise," Jay said, not surprised when the kids were saying they wanted to in different ways.

"Now what about your day tomorrow?" Aaron asked.

"Wait, wait," Castle said, laughing when the kids immediately turned to him and asked for him to tell them at that moment. "Thanks a lot," he told the paranormal investigator who laughed before he responded.

"I had to get the attention from us, all these kids," Aaron said, exaggerating his voice before the younger kids started to laugh.

"Tell us now Dad," Julia said.

"Please?" Eliza asked. "That way they can hear too," she said, motioning to the men from GA.

"Alright," Castle said, looking at his wife before she nodded once to him. "We're leaving you know already and we're going to Mount St. Helens," he told them, startled when Julia and Eve were exclaiming. "I didn't think you'd be that eager," he said in surprise when the two had calmed down.

"I've always wanted to see it," Eve explained.

"You know what happened there right?" Zak asked her.

"Yeah," Eve said. "But… is it wrong I want to see what it looks like now?"

"No," most of the adults said before some were looking at Skye.

"I had a feeling that was going to come up," the investigator said.

"Is it safe for her to go?" Beckett asked, indicating Julia.

"Eliza too," Castle added before Skye was nodding.

"I'll keep an eye on them," the investigator replied.

"Why do you have to do that?" Eliza asked.

"I'll take that," Mary said when her wife and the little girl's parents looked suddenly concerned. "Have you heard of this volcano before?" she asked Eliza.

"Yeah, it erupted," the little girl replied. She cringed and said, "Did people pass away?" in a whisper.

"Unfortunately, they did," Mary told her.

"Do you think I'm going to see them?" Eliza asked.

"I'm not sure," Skye said, answering that since her wife had turned to her. "But I can be the first out of the RVs when we get there and see how things are."

"We'd prefer if you did," Beckett said, not surprised her husband was nodding next to her.

"Not a problem," Skye said before she noticed they were finished eating. "I really hope everyone is ready to go." She wasn't surprised when the kids were immediately getting up and they proceeded to clean up so they could continue on their ride along Port Townsend Bay.

"Rick?"

Turning from the window in their suite, Castle said, "What's wrong?"

"I was just going to ask you," Beckett said.

"I'm fine," Castle said.

"It's bothering you, isn't it?" Beckett asked.

Sucking in a breath of air, Castle hesitated for a moment before he said, "It is. I didn't like the way the figure was on top of you. It could have hurt you."

"I know," Beckett replied. She then said, "But it didn't, since you got me out of there fast." When her husband merely nodded, she stepped up to him and wrapped her arms around him tightly from behind before telling him, "Don't let it worry you."

"We're not going anywhere near that room again," Castle said.

"Oh, I agree," Beckett said, kissing his shoulder through his pajama top. "She's not getting that near you again."

Castle couldn't help smiling at his wife's tone and he turned around to look at his wife saying, "You're being possessive."

"Good," Beckett told him firmly. She wrapped her arms around her husband's neck while he was snaking his about her waist and said, "Better?"

"Yeah… do you have anything on under that?" Castle asked since his wife was wearing a robe.

"No," Beckett replied effortlessly.

"No," Castle repeated slowly. He wasn't surprised when she let him go after that, and he let her take his hand before they were walking into the bathroom. "Ah… I wasn't sure," he told her.

Smiling, Beckett reached for him and began unbuttoning his plaid shirt before she told him, "I told you if we had the chance I wanted to," when he suddenly took her hands and made her stop.

Kissing at her fingertips lightly Castle eventually asked, "What do you think of the evidence?"

"It's good, and I'm glad Eliza got something," Beckett replied, moving to entwine their fingers. "Since it was what she wanted. But she's not doing that for a while."

"She knows," Castle said, unable to help smiling since she had been adamant about that. He brushed his lips to hers and said, "Neither are we."

"No," Beckett told him firmly. When he leaned into her again, they were kissing deeply, and she clutched at him tightly. Feeling him doing the same to her she couldn't stop the moan that escaped her mouth, and she was responding to his tongue rubbing against hers repeatedly before they had to part.

"Goddess," Castle breathed to her before he was kissing at her neck. "I want you Kate," he murmured against her lips.

"Take me here love," Beckett responded, reaching for his shirt again.

Helping her, Castle was surprised they weren't tearing his clothes off and he was about to mention it once he was naked when she placed the ends of her tie in his hands. "I'm not taking you to the bed," he informed her.

"No," Beckett replied, smiling a little before they were kissing gently. As they pulled apart, he was untying her robe and revealing that she was in fact naked underneath. When he proceeded to caress at her body she told him, "You didn't take it off yet."

"Do I really need to?" Castle asked her.

"Yes," Beckett told him a little sternly. She wasn't surprised when he was reaching underneath her robe to slide it off her shoulders and she closed her eyes tightly at the sensation of his touch. "Rick," she breathed when he leaned down, traveling with the robe before the fabric was pooled around her feet. His hands had slid down her arms, but as he stood up, he was gently cupping her breasts and she was going to pull him down to her for a kiss when he was stopping her. She was watching him in a little surprise before he was murmuring into her ear huskily.

"Are you sure," Castle stated. He felt her nodding and he smiled before he nibbled at her earlobe for a moment and told her, "Then let me fill the tub."

Beckett nodded, reluctantly letting him go before she watched him getting the Jacuzzi filled enough for them. As soon as he had they stepped into the clawfoot tub so they could rinse off quickly and move into the water. She wasn't surprised when he urged her to go in first and willingly did so, reaching for him before he was with her. They kissed hungrily and she slid her fingers through his hair while he was gently making her spread her legs while he pressed his hand between them.

"Help me," Castle told her roughly. He grunted for a moment when she gently grasped him, and he moved quickly to enter her before he slid inside of her. "What do you want love?" he asked once their hips were pressed together under the water.

"Make love to me," Beckett replied. She wasn't surprised when her husband kissed her tenderly, beginning to thrust in her at the same time. She dug her nails into his back a little hard at the sensation of him moving so slowly but accepted the speed since it allowed them to leisurely kiss one another. When he moved down to her neck eventually, she focused her attention on how she was moving exactly, soon realizing he was getting deep within her. "Rick…" she started to say.

After his wife had trailed off, Castle kissed her lightly before he kissed around her neck again though he was bending his head lower shortly after. Kissing at the tops of her breasts that were above the water, he realized Beckett's hands were caressing at his back. He moved to suckle at her nipples lightly after he'd been kissing her for a while and he went back to her lips, kissing her sensuously before he pressed his forehead to hers.

Though they would lightly kiss one another at that point, Castle and Beckett continued to make love carefully, going as slowly as they could until they were breaking close to one another and gripping at each other the best they could. Once they were a little stronger, he kissed her roughly before he withdrew from her reluctantly and she stopped him from getting out of the tub.

"We don't have to stop," Beckett told him.

"I'm glad you agree," Castle replied, unable to help smiling.

"Hmm, pervert," Beckett said while he was kissing at her shoulder. She let out a gentle moan at him sucking her skin for a moment and then told him, "But not here."

"Yeah, I'm getting all wrinkled," Castle said at the same time he stood. When he noticed where his wife was looking at him then he asked, "I can't say the same about you?"

"Do you want to risk it?" Beckett asked him teasingly. She couldn't help laughing briefly when he pretended to think about that before he was grabbing a towel to dry off. She leaned against the side of the Jacuzzi while she unabashedly stared at him doing that and she said, "Don't dry me off."

"I'm not planning on it now," Castle commented. When his wife looked at him in surprise he couldn't help smiling and told her, "I like the idea of watching you." He expected her to call him a pervert, but when there was no response he said, "How often am I allowed that?"

"Here and there," Beckett said teasingly, stepping out of the Jacuzzi. She wasn't surprised when her husband was sitting on the edge of it, watching her closely while she rubbed her body dry before he spoke once she was finished.

"You're a fucking goddess love," Castle told her, standing and reaching for her.

"Language Rick," Beckett told him teasingly. She laughed when he suddenly picked her up and when she'd calmed down, she kissed at his temple before he carried her out to the four-poster bed.

"How much time do we have?" Castle asked after he'd set her down. He wasn't surprised when she was reaching for him instead of answering and he was quick to climb onto the bed. She was initiating a kiss once he was close enough and they were kissing deeply while caressing each other. After they'd delved into a third kiss, he couldn't help himself and reached between her legs where he gently fingered her. At her gasp he told her, "I have to know."

"Most of that is from you," Beckett told him teasingly though she moaned at the end when he moved up to her clit. Feeling him rubbing at it she gasped and pressed herself back on the pillows under her before she told him, "Stop… I don't… I didn't want to do that."

Doing so immediately, Castle kissed her lightly to gauge if she was mad at him. Feeling her responding to him, he got on top of her since he knew she wasn't annoyed, and she pulled him at the same time. When they had parted, he told her, "I love you, Kate."

"I love you too Rick," Beckett replied with a smile. They were kissing lightly, and she told him when they gazed into one another's eyes, "Fuck me lover."

Shuddering in joy, Castle kissed Beckett passionately before they began to move together to begin making love. While they were intensifying their speed they were kissing and caressing at each other to stimulate one another more. When they orgasmed together, they were calling out each other's names, aware they wouldn't be stopping yet so they could slake some of their fierce desire for one another.
