"Did it go okay, is Casey stronger like me and mom." Rocket asked as Herbert came out followed by Dr Ball seeing his dad nodding in reply.

It was a few hours later after Herbert had performed the surgery on Casey, to make her stronger and was anxious about his sister, following their dad into the recovery roomm, seeing Casey asleep in a bed covered in bandages from furry head to tail making him feel big feelings seeing their mom by Casey's side.

"Ssshhhh Rocket, she's in a lot of pain but fell back asleep after I sang to her." Jupiter told him seeing him by Casey's side stroking her cut fur hair knowing taking her home would have to be done carefully humming softly knowing how much pain she was in.

"When we het home, you can have all the chocolate-milk you want, and we can play Hogwarts Legacy together." he said to her seeing their mom leaving for a bit knowing Rocket would take good care of Casey knowing she wouldn't be going anywhere for a while until she healed which would take a while.

"Ready for your check-up my boy." he heard their dad ask.

"Yeah, but will Casey be okay, how're we getting her home." he asked.

"We will in a few hours, your mom's gonna fly her back home." Herbert replied, hearing him say he wanted to help Casey making Jupiter happy he wanted to help Casey which was sweet saying he could help, but sensed he was sad but hugged him knowing this was triggering him.

"We should get going, pick her up gently so she doesn't get hurt." he told Rocket seeing him doing so.

"It's okay sis, I got you, dad too." he whispered to her as they were heading to the hangar-bay getting onto their mom's ship seeing she was still sleeping as Rocket was holding her gently whispering to her or letting her listen to her favourite podcast, Tara Tremendous or the Harry Potter audiobooks unaware their mom was watching proud of Rocket for taking care of Casey as they arrived in the Terran airspace, touching down outside their house on the grounds of Avengers Campus.

"Come on kiddo, let's get you ijto bed." Rocket told Casey as they went inside.

He was carrying her upstairs to her room, tucking her gentky into her bed putting her stuffed tenuki Bento near her, because it hurt her to snuggle right now kissing her furry head, hoping there was no mark on her furry arm knowing their dad wouldn't do that.

Rocket sighed the next day, looking at the photi of Casey on his phone which Jupiter had sent him through WhatsApp hearing the door burst open seeing Peach and Raya, Casey's best friends barge in, makijg him sigh, he should've known they'd eorry about Casey if she didn't show up but showed them the photo, astounding them asking if Casey had gotten in a massive fight.

"No, she had the cybernetics surgery, which will make her stronger, but she needs to rest up." he told them.

"Woah, our girl looks banged up, is this why she's not in school." Peach asked him making him sigh.

"Yes and the meds make her loopy and sleepy, it's why she hadn't texted you, but yes, you can see her." he replied.

That afternoon after school, Peach and Raya followed Rocket to his and Gamora's house, seeing Jupiter happy tomsee them guessing they'd been worried about Casey, seeing them goijg upstairs, opening Casey's bedroom door gently entering but were surprised seeing her in bandages asking what happened, hearing that Herbert had performed the cybernetics surgery in her.

"He did it out of love not harm, like me, he made her stronger but she's hurting right now and loopy from the meds we give her to help her feel better." Rocket told them.

"Awww so sorry Casey, that you're in pain but we're here for you." Peach told Casey softly.

"Uh-huh…" Casey said in sleep as Raya held her bandaged paw gently which Rocket found sweet.
