Solitas, Schnee Manor

We see Weiss Schnee an Heiress to the Schnee name as she draws her weapon Myrtenaster and looks at a water fixture with their crest and wings on the side as she seem to give it respect as then we see the the man from before as he is 17 and dressed in a butler outfit he wore white collar long sleeves shirt, black vest, and cyan tie, black trousers, and black shoes. In addition, he carries a wristwatch as well as wear white gloves to cover up his hands as we can see the stitching across his face as well as glasses and black hair with frosted white tips and light blue eyes.

Butler Boy: The arrangements have been made, Mistress Weiss.

She then looks back and she doesn't have a scar on her face as she sheathed her sword.

Weiss: Shall we go, Stein.

The boy simply bows forward in respect as his name was Rank Stein a butler to the Schnee family at a young age.

Rank: Yes.

In the Hallway

Through their walk through the Manor Hallway they pass by the Schnee family portrait as we see Jacques Schnee, Weiss's father as he is behind the family and we see Willow Schnee Weiss's mother, in front of the parents were their three children, Winter Schnee the oldest, Weiss Schnee the second youngest, and finally Whitley Schnee the youngest.

As it looks to be a typical family but something caused unrest to Rank whenever he looks up to it before looking forward as the duo walk to wherever they are going as Weiss sees her mother drinking again in another courtyard as we see red wine in a clear glass.

Weiss: [Sad.] You're drinking in the daytime again, Mother?

Rank was sad as well as he expressed his sorrow for her as well as the two continue before they stopped and see Whitley as he greets Weiss.

Whitley: Are you ready, Weiss?

Weiss: Whitley. Do you think you're the one testing me?

Whitley: I'm worried about you. A test this dangerous isn't normal.

Rank looks at Whitley in worry as he shifts his eyes back and forth between brother and sister.

Whitley: I'm sure you would agree, sister.

Weiss wasn't fazed as she continues forward with her stone cold expression.

Weiss: No. This is hardly enough to intimidate me.

As she passed Whitley she then told him one more thing.

Weiss: Shut up and watch.

As Rank and Weiss was out of earshot Whitley looked at his sister before talking to himself.

Whitley: [To himself.] I've always watched you, my fearless, foolish sisters.

In Training Room

In a certain part of the mansion we see a training room where we see another butler but he's much older he's the head butler of the Mansion as his name is Klein Sieben. Klein is a short, slightly heavyset man with balding brown hair and a large mustache. He typically has light brown eyes. As a head butler, he wore white collar long sleeves shirt, black vest, and cyan tie, black trousers, and black shoes. In additional, he carries a pocketwatch in his person to keep track on time. As he nods at Rank as he nods back and leaves Weiss alone and moves toward Klein as she continues to walk forward where we see her elder sister, Winter Schnee and her father, Jacques Schnee as she greets the two.

Weiss: I am very pleased to see you, Father. Elder Sister. This is the Final Test, right?

The father didn't like it as we see his scowl on his face.

Jacques: This is utterly pointless.

Much to Rank displeasure as he stares at Jacques with a glare that Klein noticed before calming him down with a hand on Rank's Shoulder. He never really liked his boss but bears with it as he stares at Weiss.

Winter: Wasn't this your choice, Father? Weiss is prepared to do it.

Jacques doesn't say anything as he scoffs at Winter as she was right as it was his own words that she was prepared to fight whatever came her way as Whitley comes in with his smug on his face as Weiss decides to start the test right away.

Weiss: Well, then, please unleash the Grimm.

Jacques then smiles as he seems to have something interesting for her.

Jacques: Fine. But the instant I decide you can't do this, you fail. And that will be the end of your selfish behavior.

Weiss: Understood.

Weiss then looks at the butler's as they nodded and Klein heads over to the laver on the wall and pulls it. Then the floor then opens and we see it go down to bring in the Grimm Weiss was going to face as it returns we see it's a Arma Gigas before we see a Geist. Geists are Creatures of Grimm that resemble ghosts and are capable of "possessing" and controlling any inert objects. Their appearance is a black figure that has bone-like spikes on its back and ribs on its upper body, with long, skeletal forearms and sharp fingernails. It lacks a lower body, instead floating through the air while leaving behind a black smoke trail. Its face consists of Grimm markings on a mask-like bone plate with a single eye. As it then possesses the Arma Gigas and growls at Weiss as she takes a ready stance as she prepares to fight it.

The now recently possessed Arma Gigas raises its sword as the two don't move before the Arma Gigas attack first but dodges before delivering a fast attack with her weapon. But it wasn't enough to take it down but only annoy it as the Arma Gigas attacks again only for Weiss to dodge and so it again attacks but it then it used his sword to attack and it lands a hit but Weiss blocks it with her Aura and sword before she decides to use her semblance Glyphs as it then launch Weiss forward and then at the last second use her glyph and dodge it and use it again to attack in mid air and attack the Arma Gigas as everyone watches intently on what happened next.

Weiss then activates her weapon as it was now on fire but the Geist possessed Arma Gigas then punched Weiss Schnee in the face as Rank looks on in horror as he opened his eyes before looking at Jacques as he smirks at this thinking that it's over.

Whitley: [Smug.] Aww...

Jacques: Now do you understand, correct? We're finished here.

Rank grips his gloves hard as he glares at Weiss's father that was very cruel to his family.

Winter: No. it isn't over.

Rank looks at the elder sister as he sees that smirk on her face before looking at Weiss as she staggered to stand back up before using her weapon to balance herself as we see a scar over her left eye as she bares her teeth at the Geist and points her blade at the Arma Gigas before it attacks her as she raises her blade over her head and puts it down and we see ice travel across the floor and traps the Arma Gigas thanks to Weiss weapon Myrtenaster. The Arma Gigas Geist then swings his sword at Weiss as she prepares her sword to be infused with fire dust as she jumps ontop of the huge blade and burns its hand as it melts and lost its grip of the sword as it travels to Rank and Klein as Rank shifts his body to the right unfazed by the huge sword that almost kills him and Klein was actually scared as he covered his body and dodge the sword.

As the Armored Grimm scream in pain and sees his hand melting he immediately runs towards Weiss as she used a Glyph below it and as it was about to punch her again we see him then flying up in the air before she makes more glyphs and trap him in mid air before casting a glyph on herself and launching her up as she spins in the air like a dancer and then used her dust to cover the weapon once more and then rush right through the armor as it effectively killed the Geist and the Arma Gigas as it turned to ice and shattered it into millions of pieces.

Klein: Misstress Weiss, you did it!

Rank was pleased by her performance as he smiles at her but smiles even more at the scowl of Jacques face as he was angry at how things turned out.

Weiss: You will accept my enrollment in Beacon Academy now, won't you?

As everyone there now knows that Jacques was hoping to win but now has to eat his own words.

Winter: Father...

Jacques: [Angry.] Have it your way!

As he walks out with Whitley following after as he seemed relieved as well how events turned Weiss then looks to her left and we see Klein and Rank as the two expresses their happiness in their own way and she looks up happy then ever.

Rank's Room

We see it was minimal as there was only clothes dresser, bed, and broken mirror. He didn't mind it as he takes off his gloves and we see the faded scars on his hands as he takes off his shirt he was very muscular, he had swole arms, chest, and six pack core, all and all he looked like a fit Athletic man who could lift up 100 men. Though that wasn't the only thing noticeable as we see his body is covered in faded scars as he notices then and touches them as he didn't like seeing them.

He then went to get his pajamas as they consisted of gray shirt with a Schnee emblem on his left chest and went to sleep.

The Next morning

We see Rank wakes up and hears bells as he immediately gets up and get dressed quickly and puts his gloves on and heads out.

The Kitchen

We see dozen of people in the kitchen as they prepare for the breakfast as Klein takes out his watch and looks at the clock and then sees Rank as he smiles.

Klein: [Amused.] Like clockwork. For the Mistress Weiss room.

Rank: Yes, Mister Sieben.

Rank then left to head towards Weiss's room.

Weiss Room

It was a breakfast in bed tray as he opened the door we see Weiss was asleep as she had a bandage over where the Arma Gigas Geist hit her and puts it on the bed and immediately opens the curtain before making his way back to the sleeping Weiss and when first light hit her she immediately woke up and yawned.

Rank: Breakfast is served, Misstress.

Weiss: [Yawns.] Thank you Mr. Stein. I will need you to help me pack for Beacon.

Rank: As you wish.

Rank then put the food down and we see him leaving before closing the door Weiss then looks down as she feels sad.

The Hallway's

As Rank was walking down he immediately saw Willow as she drank through the night in wine as she was hungover as he didn't like it he immediately carried her in his arms and took her to her room.

The Master Bedroom

As Rank puts her down in her bed we don't see Jacque in the room and we see a self portrait of himself as Rank stares at it in contempt as he grasps his knuckles before calming down.

The Hallway

Back into the Hallways we see Rank walking through them as he then stops when he sees Jacques as he sees him exiting the Master Bedroom.

Jacques: Mr. Stein. What were you doing in my room?

Rank: I was putting your wife in a better room then on the floor, Mr. Schnee.

Jacques: Please reminder my Daughter Weiss before she leaves for Beacon she needs to do her Recital in Atlas.

Rank: Of Course Mr. Schnee.

Jacques then glares at him as he scoffs at him as he didn't like him anymore then Rank liked him either.

Jacques: Gutter rat.

Jacques then walks away with the last word as Rank didn't say anything as there was a shadow over his eyes and we don't see his eyes as we only see the light in the glasses as he walks away from him.

Weiss Room

As Weiss dresses up in her combat outfit as she put on her jacket we see there was a knock and she sits down and looks in the doorway and was fully dressed.

Weiss: Come in.

Rank then comes in and bows before telling Weiss about the reminder left from her father.

Rank: Miss. Schnee, your father asked me to remind you that you have a recital for tonight before you leave for Beacon tomorrow.

Weiss: Thank you, Stein. You may leave.

Weiss then looks down In thought before stopping Rank.

Weiss: Wait.

Rank immediately stopped right as he grabbed the doorknob.

Weiss: I was wondering if you could accompany me tonight to the recital and... [Blushes.] and here me sing.

Weiss seems to be embarrassed as Rank stares at her without any emotion to his face as he smiles at her request.

Rank: Of course I can accompany you this night.

Weiss seems happy as she smiles.

Weiss: Thank you. Stein.

As Stein leaves Weiss takes off her bandage and we see a scar over her eye on her face.

Weiss: [Sighs.] Rank. I wish you were coming with me to Beacon.

Weiss seemed to enjoy Rank being around her as she was his only friend around her age and is was the same for him.

The Recital

We see Rank was in the car as he sat opposite of Weiss as she and Rank kept a close but professional relationship with each other as they are Heiress and Servant as they arrived Weiss was looking at her scar and felt a bit embarrassed to show to which Rank noticed.

Rank: You know... you don't have to worry about that scar it will fade in time.

Weiss: It's not just that I just wish...

Rank: Wish what?

Weiss: Nothing...

Weiss was sad as Rank noticed that they stopped and see a lot of people and a red carpet.

Rank: Miss Schnee we have arrived.

Weiss then took a breath in and out before looking poised.

Weiss: Mr. Stein can you open the door.

Rank: As you wish.

Rank got out first ant left it open as he bowed and then Weiss got out and paparazzi then takes photos as we then see a couple of Janitors Faunus as they see Weiss they had glares on their face and then looked at each other and nod. As Rank saw them leave he had a distrusting look to his face.

Inside

In the recital building we see the Janitors were actually human as they were tied up in ropes and gagged from there we see 10 Faunus's as they were White Fang as they got into their attire. It was clear that they were going to attack Weiss during the Recital, either for a ransom or worse.

Lead White Fang: You know know what to do.

As all were walk out and split up we see Rank was watching them leave as he sees a metal stanchion and picks it up.

Onstage

We see Weiss was looking to the side and we see an Vacant seat meant for Rank as she looks down in sadness before seeing a stage hand direct her to the stage.

Lead Stage Hand: Miss. Schnee your on.

Weiss then walk on stage as the announcer announced her presence.

Announcer: [Microphone.] Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome... Weiss Schnee.

We hear people cheer for her as Weiss walks out on stage into the spotlight as a piano plays the opening of "Mirror Mirror" before a crowd of people, occasionally taking pictures from their stands around the white castle they appear to be in. She closes her eyes and begins to sing.

Weiss: [Singing Throughout.] Mirror, tell me something. Tell me who's the loneliest of all...

In the Halls

We see Rank walk towards some white Fang and then with impressive strength he hits one with a Stanchion and then all the White Fang see him as he puts the Stanchion on his shoulders and took off his glasses as they were just for show and when he looks up he gave a wicked smile as he looks at them.

The White Fang then attacked him as they had a few swords and try to slice him but he easily blocked them as the song was being Played by Weiss in the background as the music instruments followed her singing.

Weiss: Mirror, tell me something. Tell me who's the loneliest of all?

We then see Rank push the two back and then throw the Stanchion at them as most dodge it except for one as it knocks him out cold.

They charged at him now weaponless but that was a mistake as he grabs one by the shirt and threw him into the ground hard that it left crack marks on it as he gags out in pain before Rank grabs one in mid air and throws them headfirst into a Wall as we only see it's head was in there as the body was hung from the wall.

Some of the White Fang looked scared but continued to fight as it was one human.

Weiss: Fear of, what's inside of me. Tell me can a heart be turned to stone?

As there was less White Fang the Leader then grabs his Maul weapon and hit him in the face as it went dark.

Back onstage

Onstage we see that the spotlight crew suddenly cuts out the light to Weiss but then some clouds part and the moon makes itself known when the clouds in front of it pass, showering Weiss in its light as she sings, eyes still closed.

Back with Rank

As the Maul did hit him he didn't even budge as then grabs the weapon and breaks it leaving a broken weapon as then the Lead White Fang then moves back stares at him in fear as he towers over him when suddenly he was attacked from behind and hits his attacker with enough force to launch him into the wall as he was currently embedded in.

Weiss: Mirror, mirror, what's behind you? Save me from the things I see! I can keep it from the world. Why won't you let me hide from me?

Then we see one White Fang with a gun as he aims it at Rank only to hold the Gun and then his eyes turn light green as did his body as it turns out that he had an Aura and Semblance as it electrocuted one of the Faunus before the leader Fanus tried to leave but Rank used the melted gun and threw it at high speed and hits him in the head as Security seemed to hear the commotion and see the damage was caused by one man as he takes out his glasses and puts them on and leaves.

Back onstage

We see Weiss was still singing as she finished off in a big way.

Weiss: Mirror, mirror, tell me something. Who's the loneliest of all? I'm the loneliest of all.

Weiss finishing Mirror Mirror as then there was a gentle shower of snowflakes and a roar of applause from her audience. She opens her eyes and looks around as if in a daze, then peers up at the slightly-scattered moon above. Before looking back as the Vacant seat we see Rank as he claps his hands together and smiles at her.

She smiles and dips her head and bows to the crowd as the curtains close around her.

Backstage

We see Weiss was waiting for someone as then we see Rank as he made his easy toward her and looks down in shame.

Rank: I'm sorry I didn't arrive on time to see you sing.

Weiss: It's ok. Your here now. Now let us go home.

Rank: Wait... I got you something.

As Weiss was confused on what he was talking about she then noticed a present in his hand as she then opens it and we see a Necklace with a metal Apple with a lightning bolt next to it.

Rank: It's not really great but it's the best I could buy with how much you're father paying me.

Weiss: [Awe.] It's perfect. Thank you Rank.

Rank then smiles at that as he covers his face as it was hue of pink and he was bashful as Weiss called his gift to her perfect.

Weiss then hugs the gentle giant as he slowly reciprocates it before letting go of each other and heading home.

The Limo

Before heading home he is stopped by a man.

Man's Voice: Excuse me? Are you Rank Stein?

Rank: Yes?

We see it was a mailman as he hands Rank a Letter with Beacon Academy Emblem.

Rank: What is this?

Mailman: It's a letter of acceptance into Beacon.

Rank: But... But I didn't go to combat school.

Mailman: Hey I'm just the messenger. Someone wants you to go.

Rank was stunned as he had no idea who would want him to go to such a prestigious combat academy in all of remnant.

In Limo

We see Rank was looking at letter of acceptance as he was sitting in the car with Weiss as she was wearing a new necklace around her neck as she was happily sitting as she heard of Rank's acceptance to Beacon.

Weiss: This is great news! I mean someone must've told the Headmaster in Beacon about you.

Rank: I'm not going.

Weiss: What?! Why?

Rank: I made a promise that I would help the Schnee family. I don't want to make a mistake that doesn't allow me to help your family.

Weiss: But this is your greatest opportunity for you! Why can't you be selfish and come with me to Beacon.

Weiss immediately realized what she said before recorrecting herself.

Weiss: I mean, why would you not take this credible opportunity to be offered more than being a Butler for the mansion?

Rank: One man... Nicolas Schnee.

Nicolas Schnee was the Founder of Schnee Dust Company or SDC is called

Weiss: I know my Grandfather was there for you and took you in and you have been serving us for 7 years but I think it's time for you to start living your own life then being a servant forever.

Rank didn't want to listen as he looks out the window as Weiss then noticed his Stoic face and her mood was soured.

Weiss: Fine. If you're not going to listen then we have nothing to say anymore.

Weiss and Rank didn't have nothing to say to each other for the rest of the way home.

Schnee Mansion

We see Weiss was in her room and looks at a picture of her and Rank when they were children Weiss was wearing the same outfit as she does now except her coat was puffy and Rank was wearing the same butler clothes as before and his hair actually all black and we see no white tips and then behind them we see an older man in the picture his name is Nicolas Schnee, Weiss's Grandfather as he wore the same type of armor as the Arma Gigas Armor except with a cape.

Weiss was wearing a nightgown as she holds the picture of the three together.

Weiss: Rank... why do you have to sacrifice everything for us?

As Weiss laid on her bed with her hair sprawled out and looking at the gift Rank gave her as she blushed at the necklace he gave her.

Rank's Room

We see Rank was still awake as he thinks about the letter he had been given and Weiss's words it caused him to be restless before he gets up and leaves his room.

In the Courtyard

We see Rank is now up in his Butler clothes as he stands outside in the snow and sitting down ontop of the place where he met Weiss.

He was alone until we see Willow Schnee as she seems to be drinking again.

Willow: Rank.

Rank: Misstress Schnee. It's a lovely night why are you up late?

Willow: I heard from my daughter that you were accepted into Beacon?

Rank: Yes... but don't worry I won't leave this place for —

Willow: I think you should leave.

Rank didn't know what to say as he was confused by her as she thinks she's been drinking again.

Rank: Have you been drinking again miss?

Willow: No. [Looks at the bottle.] Well yes. But that is not why I'm out here. I know you wanted to go see the world but I don't you want to be chained to our family because of what my father did and helped you.

Rank was silent as Willow was right if it wasn't for him he wouldn't be here.

Willow: You have my blessing to go. And I think my father would want you to go too.

Willow then walks away with bottle in hand as she goes back to her room as Rank looks down at his hands before he clasps them together and knows what to do.

Morning

We see Weiss Waking by the sunlight of the curtains being pulled as she knows who it is.

Weiss: Rank is everything ready?

Rank: Yep, everything is ready for us to go Mrs. Schnee.

Weiss then was confused by that as she thought she heard wrong but then noticed Rank in a different outfit then the usual staff butler outfit. He is wearing gray trousers, a gray six-buttoned double-breasted tailcoat with stitching across his body, and a gray vest; on is his shirt cuffs and tie is the Schnee crest. He also sports gray gloves, a pocket watch, and a chained silver lapel pin bearing the Schnee family crest.

Weiss: I don't understand.

Rank: I've had a lot of thought and I think I need to start living my own life... Weiss.

Weiss was actually happy, she cracked a smile as she got up.

Weiss: Well let's get going.

Rank: Yes, Misstress.

Rank helps Weiss with all her luggage while holding his own as he had enough strength to hold his own.

Airport

We see Rank and Weiss entering a Bullhead and the nothing but the Bullhead pilots preparing themselves to fly and opening the hatch door and Weiss and Rank enter as Weiss is seated, Rank helps make sure everything is ready for Weiss luggage as he has a flashback.

Rank's Flashback

We see Rank was up in the morning and not in his usual Butler attire and was in his own custom butler outfit and luggage which was two suitcases much to Jacques confusion as Rank hands him a letter of Resignation.

Jacques: What is this?

Rank: It's my letter of Resignation. I'm leaving.

Jacques: WHAT?!

Klein was there as he witnessed this transaction with Jacques and Rank.

Jacques: After nearly a decade of service you now want to leave? Why?

Rank: I'm going to Beacon Academy. I need to learn more about how to protect myself.

Jacques: Really? Is it just that or you just want to protect my family?

Rank on the outside was emotionless his face unmoving or shows a bit of Shock as Jacques stares at him annoyed.

Jacques: I know it's no secret that you don't like me and I don't like you either. In fact if you haven't tried to steal from Nick seven years ago you wouldn't be in our employment. I don't know why Nick would go to hire you as a servant when you're nothing but a freak.

Rank continues to remain emotionless as his anger for Jacques was in check.

Jacques: I must say this is a great day for me. I don't have care for you anymore you may go. But as soon as Weiss training is complete and back home you will never be welcomed back you will belong as you always have in the... Gutter

Klein couldn't believe Jacques would do this as Rank was nothing but a loyal servant to the family and now Jacques throws him out as trash he didn't value employees like his predecessor did as Rank bows down and leaves.

Jacques: Klein make sure our ex-employee doesn't steal anything of value thank you.

Klein: Yes, sir.

Klein then leaves as Rank is lead out by him.

In the Hallways

Klein: I'm sorry.

Klein knows how cruel Jacques was as Rank was walking out of the Mansion for the last time.

Rank: It's fine. But could you do me a favor?

Klein: Anything.

Rank: When Weiss gets back home... could you watch out for her and help her?

Klein: Of course.

Rank then smiles as he stops and turns around and bows his head to Klein much to his surprise.

Rank: Thank you. It means a lot to me that someone is watching out for Weiss.

Rank continues with his Luggage in tow as he lleaves and go to Beacon.

Present Time

We see Rank was now done fixing up the luggage and sits next to Weiss as the two smile and the Bullhead close its doors and we cut outside we see it flying off into the sunset.

Meanwhile Back in Vale

We see it was nighttime and we see a man in a hoodie jacket with an emblem of a Scarab on his back as the trimming was gold and the emblem was gold as well and his main jacket was aqua blue and he had duel wielding Khopesh those are very rare thing to see as the have a black blade with gold trimming on the handles. His face was covered in bandages and so was his hands it seemed that he was scared for life as we see his hair and eyes and little bit of skin. He seemed to be looking up and we see the title of the store "From Dust to Dawn" as he enters it.

Book Covers

As we see each Book Cover turn each reveal the character and then we see the R turn and we see it's Green as we see Rank holding his Hammer out and had removed his glasses and shows his hand generating Electricity as we see the title "Mirror." As we see the Letter R on the Binder we see a Lightning Bolt and a Skull in front of it.
