2- Restart.

In middle of the forest, near Pallet Town, Team Rocket was lying between the trees' branches swallowing their last defeat.

"This is humiliating." James started.

"And also a little nostalgic, just little the old days." Meowth followed.

"Maybe we will need to come up with another strategy for our next try." Jessie ended, until they sudden heard a weird sound. "What was that?"

"Huh…it may be my stomach." Meowth answered a little embarrassed.

"I'm not sure. I know how it sounds from other times when we three were starving." James objected.

"Wobbu, Wobbu."

"What's wrong, Wobbuffet!" Jessie asked.

"Wobbuffet." He said pointing at his butt.

"Oh, that may be a rock that you have landed on."

"Now that you mention it, it feels a little hard, for landing on a tree." James noticed.

"Huh? I think we didn't land on a tree. This seems more like…metal." Meowth reported touching the floor until he moved some leaves away, revealing a metallic surface. "Ah? What is this?"

Suddenly, the floor started to shake, or what they thought to be where they were.

"AAAAHHHH! We have the worst luck in the world! Now it comes an earthquake." Jessie panicked.

"Then why are not the trees shaking as well?!" James noticed.

"I don't know, but it appears this strange floor is moving!" Meowth warned alarmed.

They heard the same sound from before but this time louder, accompanied by some growls.

"Uh-oh." The three expressed.

The last thing coming was a loud roar which caused all the flying pokémon of the area to take flight. At the same time, the gang was already walking through the forest, not far from there.

"Pi?"

"What's wrong, buddy?" Ash asked.

"Pika."

"Have you sensed something?"

"I hope it wouldn't be an entire flock of angry Spearow." Misty hoped.

"Or a Decepticon ambush." Ritchie added.

"Can you at least tell us where it comes from?" Ash requested.

"Pi." Pikachu nodded.

Pikachu jumped in front of the group and started to listen carefully with his ears. Sparky joined him to raise their chances. After a while, both pokémon raised their ears as they looked at front.

"Pika pika." Pikachu said starting to emanate sparks.

"What is it? Something wrong?" Tracey asked.

Then, they heard screams getting louder and louder, meaning whoever was making them was approaching them fast. And suddenly, they spotted their enemies running out of the woods.

"Team Rocket?" Ash asked in disbelief.

"Not them again." Max groaned.

"Why can they just give up at least for a day?" May added.

"Hey, we are already busy so that now you come to continue bothering us! So get lost!" Bonnie shouted to them.

"We are already trying!" Meowth yelled as response.

"Huh? Excuse us?" Serena asked confused.

"Make way, you twerps!" Jessie shouted.

"It's coming right behind us!" James followed.

Before any could ask what they were referring to, the trees behind them were pushed aside by something giant: a very recognizable cybertronian beast.

"No way! Is…that…!" Dawn started shocked.

"The Predacon!" Everyone recognized.

Team Rocket were so fast that they simply passed them through. The gang didn't notice because they were totally focused on Predaking coming right at them in rampaging mode, so they had no other choice but to jump out of the way.

"Serena, are you okay?" Ash asked covering her.

"Yes, I'm fine."

"Everyone fine?"

"Pika." Pikachu nodded.

"It looks like." Tracey answered.

"What in the name of Arceus is that monster doing here?!" Misty demanded.

"No idea. But it seems it didn't come for us." Max noticed.

"Look. It seems it's going after Team Rocket." Ritchie spotted.

Team Rocket was circling around a big tree with Predaking after their backs, almost catching them a few times. After becoming aware of their tactic, Predaking decided to go after them the other way, surprising them, and forcing them to hide under some of the tree's roots which allowed them to crawl under it, except Meowth, who was caught by the tail. Predaking played with his captive shaking him from one way to another like a toy.

"I wanna get off this ride already. I'm starting to get dizzy!" Meowth asked with dizzy eyes.

That made Piplup and Fraxure laugh for his misfortune, until their trainers looked at them with serious faces, telling them to stop. Meowth continued to suffer that funny torture until an Astonish move gave Predaking a scare he didn't expected, which caused him to release Meowth and reunite with his pals under the tree. Predaking tried to use his claws to reach them, but they were too down. As he started to dig in order to reach them, the gang observed what he did from a safe distance.

"It looks like we are not the only ones Team Rocket bothered." Clemont deduced.

"But why would the Predacon be mad at them?" Ritchie wondered.

"So what? We should take the chance and get out of here while he is focused on them." Dawn suggested.

"I agree." May supported.

"Hold on. I know Team Rocket are our enemies, but even they don't deserve to be crushed by a Predacon." Ash surprised them.

"Ash's right. It's true they had always tried to steal our pokémon, but they didn't know anything about the cybertronian war. And there have been times we even got along well, even cooperated." Serena supported.

"I agree. That fate is more suitable for Team Alien." Bonnie added.

"Besides, despite that fact of being a cybertronian creature, the Predacon behaves similar to a dragon pokémon. Whatever the reason he's attacking Team Rocket it must be a good one."

"Why are you defending it, Iris?" Max asked.

"Yeah, don't you remember that it was created by the Decepticons to hunt down Autobots and us?" Misty remembered.

"But it wasn't present during the final battle on the Decepticon ship, which means it now acts by itself. So it's not guided by instinct." Iris explained.

"Maybe you're right. Look." Tracey called as he pointed the floor between them, making them see a very peculiar line of blue puddles.

"That's energon." Serena recognized.

"And the trail follows from where they come from to where it currently is. So that means it may be wounded." Iris deduced.

"And exactly what do you suggest?" May asked.

"Perhaps if we manage to relieve its pain, even if only a little, it will tranquilize."

"We don't know for certain. It's an alien creature, not a dragon type pokémon." Dawn objected.

"We have to try. Just trust me."

"Alright Iris, you can try it. But we will cover your back just in case." Ash allowed.

"Thank you."

Dawn, Misty and May summoned Mamoswine, Gyarados and Venusaur for in case of defense and the group hide behind some boulders as Iris advanced toward Predaking at ease, with Fraxure beside her. The Predacon continued trying to draw Team Rocket out, so he didn't notice the young girl approaching him from behind, slow but steady.

"Hey, calm down." Iris started once she was close enough.

At hearing her voice, Predaking stopped and looked at her, snarling as a warning.

"Easy. I'm not going to hurt you." She told him, continuing her approach.

The cybertronian dragon continued his warnings, until he realized she wasn't totally scared of him, so he stopped. Everyone also seemed speechless from this.

"Wow. How does she do it?" Ritchie asked in disbelief.

"Iris has a special touch with dragon pokémon." Ash revealed.

"Remind me to catch one moment of those." Tracey requested.

"I know you are angry, but I can help you feel better. You only have to trust me." Iris swore as she put a hand on Predaking's foot. "I know you're not evil inside."

Predaking didn't expect that, but something told him Iris's words were true, so he stopped on his doing and allowed her to inspect his body. She searched his torso in any sign of wounds until she spotted a huge hole on the left side of his belly leaking energon.

"I found it. It's hurt, that's what has been making it to act so wildly." Iris announced.

"Let me take a better look." Clemont said grabbing his back.

"You…think you can fix him?" May asked confused.

"It isn't the first cybertronian I check, you know? Besides remember, I used to pass so much time with Ratchet."

Clemont went with Iris and took a look to the wound.

"It isn't leaking that much, but the injure looks serious. I wonder what could have caused this kind of damage. There is no way it could have been Team Rocket." He observed.

"The Cons probably, but maybe they hit it and made it feel the pain, causing the retaliation." Iris suspected. "Can you do anything?"

"First we need to clean the wound, I'll take care of the rest. But I'm going to need it to remain still."

"I know how. Guys, do any of you have a pokémon with healing abilities?"

"I know. Misty, remember that time when Pikachu was very hurt and Azurrill managed to heal him completely?" Max suggested.

"Hum, yeah."

"Then maybe it could work here as well."

"With a Predacon?"

"We'll never know until we try." Ash supported.

Misty looked at Predaking, which still troubled her, before looking at Max, who smiled at her. "Alright, but I'm still not sure about this."

She went with Iris and Clemont next to Predaking and summoned Azurrill.

"Azurrill, we need you to use Refresh on the Predacon." Misty instructed.

"Before that, try to clean the wound with Water Gun." Clemont requested.

"Get ready, I may hurt a little." Iris warned to Predaking.

Azurrill started to clean the wound, washing any remaining energon or stain around it. Despite feeling it, it didn't cause Predaking more pain than other times. Once it was done, Azurrill approached the wound as Clemont pulled out some items and a metal plate from his bag, which extended enough to cover the wound. The little pokémon started to use Refresh as Clemont proceeded to weld the plate on the wound. Predaking expected the worst, but he was surprised to not feel any pain, all thanks to the pokémon's doing. After some moments of work, Clemont showed the results: the wound was now completely covered, like a patch.

"It's not a work or art, but I think it will be enough. As long as it doesn't make unnecessary movements." Clemont informed.

"So, how do you feel?" Iris asked.

Predaking was speechless: these small beings, instead of ran away from him, offered to relieve his pain, especially the girl, who looked at him as if she guesses his feeling through his eyes. But the kind moment was ruined when a few projectiles impacted on his head, forcing him to prepare back for battle.

"Take this, robotic monstrosity!" Jessie declared with a rocket launcher at hand.

"That's what happens for messing with Team Rocket!" James followed firing other one.

"We will reduce you to scrap and send your pieces to the recycling center!" Meowth added as he and Wobbuffet prepared a third one.

Predaking roared at them and prepared to launch a fireball while he extended his wings. At the moment he fired it another number of rockets impacted with it on his head. That caused him confusion and disorientation, forcing him to take flight.

"I don't know what it was, but surely it hasn't finished with us." James deduced.

"Then are you thinking what we should do?" Meowth deduced.

"I guess it's time for Team Rocket to blast off right now!" Jessie nodded.

"At the speed of light!" They announced running away really fast until been seen no more.

As they swallowed what happened, Iris couldn't help but look where Predaking flew.

"It…it's gone. We couldn't even introduce ourselves properly." She lamented.

Fraxure noticed his trainer's emotions, so he took her hand to reassure her.

"We couldn't do anything more, Iris. It's for its own good." Tracey said.

"Besides, we still are in a hurry, remember?" May reminded as they retrieved their pokémon.

"That's right. Ratchet may be already waiting for us at the shore." Serena pointed.

"Let's better move on." Ash declared.

And they resumed their march. It only took them a couple of minutes to pass the forest and spot the sea.

"Uf, finally we're here." Max expressed exhausted.

"Well, about time." A familiar voice called.

The group turned at a boulder nearby and saw a very recognizable ambulance driving next to it.

"I thought I let clear the message was urgent."

"Ratchet! You have no idea how glad I'm to see you!" Clemont expressed approaching him.

"What do you mean? Is not that it has been an eternity. I didn't depart like the rest, remember?"

"For me has been it."

"Come on Ratchet, show some heart. What Clemont shows is how much we all missed you and the team." Dawn explained.

"Not anymore, right doctor? Where is everyone?"

"Patience Bonnie. You will see them soon. We just need to wait." Ratchet stopped.

"Wait for what?" Ritchie asked.

"Pika!" Sparky called.

Right above the sea they saw a figure approaching them. Once it was close enough it revealed to be Ultra Magnus's ship. As it approached for landing, Ratchet changed to robot form.

"It's time." The Autobot medic announced.

The ship landed and opened its ramp, but no one came out to receive them, which let them worried. Until they heard sounds of propellers getting closer. Right in front of them Optimus landed.

The Autobot leader couldn't avoid but smile at setting eyes on them. "I'm sure my presence has brought you more than enough happiness, just the same yours provide it to my spark."

"You have no idea." Tracey nodded.

"Optimus, good to see you." Ash saluted.

"We have missed you a lot." Dawn added.

"But what are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be with the others rebuilding Cybertron?" Clemont questioned.

"All your doubts will be dissipated in time. First, there is something you must bear witness. So, should we go then?" Optimus invited.

"Of course. I take the co-pilot seat!"

"No way, Bonnie! I asked it first!" Max objected.

"Dat dat dat, none of you is going to seat wherever desires in a high-rank Autobot spaceship. This is not one of your planes. I will take it myself." Ratchet interrupted, making both children groan.

"Cheer up pals, they are not as exciting as you thing. I'm telling you by experience." Misty reassured them.

Once the gang was on board, the ramp was retrieved although Optimus was still out. As Ratchet took the co-pilot seat, they saw who was the Autobot who piloted the ship, which made Misty smile.

"Seaspray!"

"Nice to see you again, water girl. You look nice with that little look change by the way." The aquatic Wrecker saluted noticing Misty's hair a little longer since the last time.

"Thanks. I decided to follow Serena's example."

"Fasten your belts and enjoy the ride, though it may be a little sort."

The ship took off and headed back to where it came from, which Optimus following it close flying by his own. Meanwhile, Starscream already reunited with the Decepticon warship, the Nemesis, right at the only place where they expected no one would manage to find them: the dark side of the moon. He was greeted by a few Seeker soldiers, the same ones from his previous armada. He entered the warship's lab, where there was another recognizable Decepticon.

"Oh, about time. From the looks it appears your 'first scouting' didn't go as you expected. What happened this time?"

"I'd rather not talk about it, Knock Out. And I suggest you to not keep pushing if you know what's good for your finish." Starscream menaced. "I hope you have been making yourself useful while I checked the ground instead of lazing around buffing yourself."

"For your knowledge, Mister Necessary Risk, I have making use of my time to check inventory."

"Oh, and you have something to report about?"

"A couple of concerning details. While I was taking a look to all the recently instrumental you and Shockblast brought from his former research facilities I uncovered something disturbing: it appears all our original items and lab equipment, including the quantum cryo-inducer prototype, was taken by the Autobots right before they went to engage Unicron."

"Well, that doesn't matter at the end. We brought more than enough replacements and surely Shockblast will be able to make another one. It isn't a serious issue."

"Perhaps, but when I was inspecting the rest of the ship, I took closely looks to each and every room, and it seems they also took all the relics storage within our vault, including the Resonance Blaster. With that kind of breaching into our security, I advised Shockblast to check our network in search for clues of evidence about possible Autobot manipulation." Knock Out reported as they entered the room where Shockblast was checking the ship's databanks.

"I am currently on the task, Knock Out. However, any possible Autobot interaction or trick which they may have operated within our network will be hard to detect without the experience of an expert of the field." Shockblast revealed.

"And Soundblaster is still MIA." Starscream recalled. "Well, since you two are currently busy with your own duties, I will take care of another pending issue: we need to make a summarize of our current military might."

At the same time, the Autobot ship and Optimus continued flying above the ocean, while someone was updating others about recent events.

"Hold on. So right after you guys started to settle things up on your home, you had to face Unicron again?" Ritchie asked in disbelief.

"Who's Unicron?" Iris asked.

"Seriously, how come you don't know?"

"Remember doctor, it happened before she knew everything about you." May reminded.

"Me too." Seaspray supported.

"Hmp…oh, you're right. Sorry." Ratchet apologized.

"Unicron is an ancient cybertronian deity, like some legendary pokémon, but on a larger scale." Ash started.

"It is said his lifeforce, some purple and sinister version of energon known as dark energon, possess the ability to reanimate deceased cybertronians and turn them into zombies." Serena followed.

"Zombies? Like the ones from those horror movies? That sounds more like urban legends and myths."

"Trust us, Iris, we saw one with our own eyes. And it was really scary." Bonnie confirmed.

"Try to imagine a cybertronian as big enough to fit into our planet." Misty started.

"Wait? Are you saying this Unicron is actually lying right under our feet?!" Iris asked starting to get nervous.

"Better said he's actually Earth's core." Clemont clarified.

"From what you guys told it seems this Unicron is something worse even than the Decepticons."

"He's not called the Chaos Bringer for nothing." Seaspray nodded.

"So, what happened?" Tracey asked.

"Unicron attempted to raise an army of undead Predacon fossils in order to terminate his rival Primus, our planet's core. But we managed to stand against him and stop his army. And then, just like his predecessors before him, Optimus managed to beat Unicron and cast him out." Ratchet narrated.

"And you mentioned he occupied Galvatron's body in order to act personally?" Max added.

"It doesn't surprise me, since he was totally interested on using his blood in person." Dawn deduced.

"So, if Unicron has been defeated once again, why are you here?" Ash asked finally.

"You are about to see it, cause we're almost there." Seaspray reassured them.

"To where? There's nothing here in middle of the ocean. This is just some kind of midpoint: like an oceanic crossroad in which every region is almost at the same distance." Tracey explained as he took Serena's digital map and showed it on screen.

"Are you certain?" Ratchet asked, and when Tracey showed it to him that made him reflect. "Now I understand why he chose this location."

"Choose what? Who?" Clemont asked.

"Get your 3-D glasses, boys and girls, because you're gonna need them now." Seaspray called so sudden.

"There it is." Ratchet spotted.

Right in front of them an island rose, but there was something peculiar about it: excluding the floor and a few boulders, the island was completely composed of cybertronian metal. There was a giant wall separating the shore from a huge central complex structure which looked like some kind of ten-sided shaped dome surrounded by a few towers of lower height. As they approached, the main building, which showed the Autobot emblem, was getting bigger, showing its real size: just as huge as New Kaon. The gang remained speechless.

"Whoa, that's amazing." Bonnie expressed.

"What a technological marvel." Clemont admired.

"Guys, what is that place?" Ritchie asked.

"That, our friends, is Primus' most recent work of art: our new home on Earth." Ratchet revealed.

The ship continued to approach the huge main structure until it reached to a hangar which opened in one of its sides. The hangar seemed larger from the inside, spacious enough to house dozens of ships like Magnus', or even larger. Once inside, Optimus entered before the door closed and landed in front of the ship while this lowered its ramp, allowing the gang to admire the inside better.

"Friends and family of Earth, welcome to New Iacon." Optimus introduced.

"Whoa." That was they said to describe their amazement of what they saw.

Meanwhile, back to the Nemesis…

"Alright. According to our latest reports, we just have a few Vehicon platoons, one brigade of air soldiers, a few members of my Seeker armada, some tanks and long-rank fighters, a dozen of two-wheelers and one group of engineers." Starscream counted.

"Well, at least we still have lots of miners." Knock Out added, trying to cheer things up.

"They are servant class, not warrior class! The only thing they are good for is manipulating energon and mining equipment."

"But they are also the ones who, thanks to their efforts, we have access to fresh deposits of well-needed energon."

"Knock Out has a point: labor is required if we have hope to maintain a constant supply of fuel." Shockblast supported. "Also, that can also serve for another purpose. A tactical one."

"Excuse me?"

"Which one?" Starscream asked intrigued.

"We know the same as the Autobots that natural energon, previously extracted and transported from our home world, is in short supply on this planet, meaning that whoever takes control of the remaining present deposits will control the tides of the war on Earth." Shockblast started.

"And we still know the locations of said remaining supply lines." Knock Out pointed.

"Indeed. But the Autobots are not aware that even with those emplacements under our control, we do not require them to have access to an unlimited supply of energon. I discovered it when I was ensuring our databanks were not compromised."

"You're referring…to the Synthetic Energon formula?" Starscream asked hopefully.

"Precisely. The completion of which was filled within our archives, right before it was being employed to charge up the Omega Lock."

"Which means we can still make believe the Autobots to continue struggling for the planet's reserves…" Starscream started to understand.

"And when all of them have been depletive, we will still have a crucial advantage over them." Knock Out ended.

"Finally a good new. But that's not the only detail we are missing: with the lost of the Omega Lock's replacement, our access to spare parts and raw materials has reached a stalemate. Which means we must find something which acts as a source which may serve in case of performing reparations for the warship. Or upgrading it."

Back to New Iacon…

"This place is huge. How did this Primus guy manage to build it?"

"Primus is another cybertronian god, Iris. Unicron's counterpart." Tracey answered.

"Exactly. After Optimus managed to defeat Unicron, Primus used his power to transfer Cybertron to a secret location in unknown space." Ratchet retold.

"As well, he used the power of the Omega Lock to create this fortress." Optimus continued.

"Now this is how a true Autobot base looks like." May admired.

"It's like a part of Cybertron is now on Earth." Ritchie added.

"And where is everyone else?" Ash asked.

"Pi? Pika pi."

Pikachu signaled to the hangar's doors opening, allowing a new ship to enter. This was also familiar.

"Hey, that looks like Seaspray's ship." Tracey spotted.

"But the color scheme seems different. And also…familiar." Dawn added as the ship landed.

"Piplup?"

"That's because that is the Jackhammer." Seaspray recognized.

"The ship in which Wheeljack first arrived to Earth." Ratchet added.

Dawn started to cheer up in the moment she heard that. "So, are you saying Wheeljack is the one who's piloting it?"

Seaspray nodded to her, which made her and Piplup to start sneaking behind the ship's ramp once it opened, which let everyone confused. She winked to everyone as signaling to stay silent, revealing she was going to give her pal a surprise. Moments later, Wheeljack came out from the ramp, and both partners took the chance to climb on the Wrecker's back.

"It feels good to have the Jackhammer back, right Seaspray? Now we'll have at our disposal more appropriate ways to travel around the globe."

"It surprised me when you revealed you have it hidden somewhere Jackie, but I agree with you, it definitely will come up handy. By the way, we have visitors." Seaspray said presenting the gang.

"Ah, good to see you already come to visit us, pals. Hey, where's Dawn?" Wheeljack noticed, right before one of his optics was covered by a pair of hands.

"Guess who I am." Dawn announced from one of Wheeljack's shoulders.

Wheeljack reacted laughing as he picked his partner and her pokémon on one hand. "Nice trick, Dawn, you got me."

"I'm so glad you're back, Jackie. I've missed you."

"Pi piplup." Piplup added hugging the Autobot's hand.

"You didn't think I will forget my best partner in the universe, right?" Wheeljack assured with a smile.

"We have seen you have a very impressive new home. What if you show us the place?" Misty reminded.

"Why not? After all the others are already settling it up." Seaspray nodded.

"All Team Prime is here as well? Even better!" Bonnie expressed.

"So what are we waiting for?" Ash started.

The gang followed the Autobots out of the hangar and started the tour through the new Autobot base. They even could see great views through some windows of the surrounding towers, which connected with the main structure by corridors; it was obvious this place looked entirely as if it was taken out of the Autobots' home: the entire environment was completely cybertronian.

"The design of this place is impressive." Clemont admired.

"It surely doesn't look like the Decepticon warship." Serena noticed.

"Yeah, that was more sinister. This looks more…peaceful." Ash added.

"Pika." Pikachu followed.

"That's because New Iacon's configuration is designed based on the architecture of the Autobot command center of Iacon: Decagon." Ratchet explained.

"It would seem that Primus decided to create New Iacon based of the hope that the Autobot stronghold represented during the days of the War for Cybertron. And so as the bridge between our worlds." Optimus continued.

"A bridge between worlds?" Max asked confused.

"Are you…saying this place is connected directly with Cybertron?" Ritchie asked in disbelief.

"No, not physically. But Primus knew about the link our worlds shared since long ago, and decided to leave a mark as a proof of their strong connection." Optimus explained.

"Also, New Iacon is the only current place in the entire known universe which provides a direct access to where Cybertron currently is." Ratchet added.

"Which is why this place is the bridge between our worlds." Optimus ended as they reached a door.

When it opened it revealed a huge room, with a main terminal which showed in a huge screen all details of the Autobot base, a few additional terminals at its sides and others on a little lower floor, a little empty space, a doorway which lead directly to what looked like a lab on the other side with a healing chamber similar to the one the Autobots had in their first base but bigger on the bottom of the room and a ramp which erected to what seemed to be a bigger version of the Autobot ground bridge. Lots of tubes with energon flowing inside ranged all around and out of the room above them.

"Whoa, this place is huge." Bonnie observed.

"This must be the command center, am I right?"

"Well perception, Clemont. It is indeed the very center of New Iacon, and this time, totally composed of proper equipment, tools and everything a complete base requires. This is my favorite one: a very spacious laboratory with everything required for both medical interventions, for all and different levels and quarantine protocols, and scientifical operations. Finally, a place where I can finally feel on my element, somewhere to work peacefully, work like the old days with the best of instrumental and possibly contribute to science progress with maybe personal creations." Ratchet detailed.

"Ratchet looks like if he just got a wish he made to a shooting star." May noticed.

"Yeah, I have never seen him so excited." Serena nodded.

"That place looks like a paradise for scientists and inventors. Can you show it to me?" Clemont requested.

"How about if we check it by ourselves, partner? That way maybe you can also make yourself a proper place to work." Ratchet proposed.

"That would be awesome!" Clemont answered with gummy eyes.

"Geez, don't talk that loud, big brother."

"You guys also have your own ground bridge."

"Actually Max, that's more a space bridge." Seaspray corrected.

"Really?" Iris asked.

"The structure comes out from the schematics of the Decepticon engineering. Although the structure looks perfect, we still need to check its network to see if it requires retouching before it's ready to be used." Ratchet added.

"That's the access you were referring to go to Cybertron?" Dawn asked.

"Indeed. The coordinates of its actual location are already registered on its log." Optimus answered.

"Let's get going with the tour." Ratchet announced. "Just like our first base, the entire fortress is heavily shielded to prevent any outsiders to get a fixed targeting on this location. From both earthling and cybertronian technology. Including the access from none-registered ground bridge portals."

"We already saw the new hangar you have for your ships." Misty recalled.

"That's just a small part of the entire place." Wheeljack reassured them.

"Unlike the previous ones, this base is provided with a complex of barracks capable of house even more than a hundred of Autobots. Depending of their size." Ratchet clarified pointing at some of the doors which connected with the center.

"Whoa, so more Autobots can feel at home here." Ash deduced.

"The base also possesses a storage capable to stock supplies to support an entire army or a huge warship, a training room where we can perform the necessary practices and simulations, a bigger energon depot which constantly transfer the well-appreciated substance around all the complex and an armory." Ratchet explained pointing at the different doors. "And besides the base main terminal, the additional ones will allow us to perform different duties almost at the same time."

"Looks like this base has it all." Ritchie opined.

"It has, but if still requires previous preparations." Another familiar voice corrected, which made everyone look at one of the terminals, and saw Blaster typing in the computer with his tentacles inserted on it. "Not to question Primus' wisdom, but he may have at least left behind an instruction manual about how to configure everything in this place, instead of starting from zero defenseless."

"Hey Blaster, we're here." Ash saluted.

"Good to see you again." Tracey added.

"Oh, hey guys, I didn't hear you arriving. Glad that you're here, although you caught me very busy." Blaster saluted with his hand and a fast look before getting back to work. "Sorry about not showing so much enthusiasm for the reunion, but someone was to tied everything on this place. And guess who's the best Autobot for the task."

"You Blaster?" Bonnie answered, earning a thumb-up from the Autobot.

"There's a lot to establish so this base can operate properly and there's still many things to do: connect the security network, adjust the sensors, link all the base's subsystems, check possible weapons' locations, install the communication system… not to mention assisting Ratchet with the space bridge revision."

"Oh, you must be under a lot of pressure." Serena deduced.

"Is there some way we can possibly help you?"

"Thanks for the offer, Ritchie, but I'm not sure a group of humans can assist me to download more than 360 million digitals, translate them to cybertronian code and link them to any human global positioner." Blaster explained, leaving everyone without words.

"Yeah, I…think that's out of our field." May nodded.

"But we still appreciate your interest." Another familiar voice told them.

They saw coming from one of the doors Elita One and Ultra Magnus entering the command center.

"Elita, Magnus." Ash saluted.

"We're so glad to have you among us once again." The female Autobot leader appreciated.

"How's everything going on, commander?" Optimus requested.

"We are checking each quadrant of the central tower, but it's bigger than we expected. We decided to split out in order to cover more ground." Ultra Magnus informed.

"That means, sir, that all members of Team Prime are here? In the same building as us?" May asked.

"That's correct. Once we're done here, we'll start inspecting the outside towers and the outer perimeter."

"Guess I'm lucky that the others are helping me to establish the map of this place with their only presence. But I will need to pass the schematics aside in order to start putting them together like a puzzle. But that would require my full attention on the subject."

"Maybe I can help you with that, Blaster."

"Didn't you hear me before, Tracey? How could you help me with that?"

"You just need to pass me the images, so I can portray them in my sketch." He offered pulling out his notebook and pencil.

"Hum, that's not a bad idea. Maybe that way it would be easier for me to put all pieces of the map together."

"Eh, Optimus, what about that room?" Ash asked pointing to a door in the bottom of the command center.

"I will show you."

The group followed the Autobot leaders to the last door, but this one seemed different from the others, because of its appearance. When it opened, they saw a huge hall inside which showed some figures around a shining circle on the floor. When they approached, everyone saw the figures were statues which looked like ancient cybertronians: there was 12 of them.

"Who are those Bots?" Max asked.

"These are the 12 ancients, the first Primes on history. Each one of them represented the first ideals in the story of Cybertron. Their goals, attributes and achievements are immortalized in these murals." Optimus told as he showed them a mural with writings under each statue. "This is the Hall of Primes. A reminiscence of the great leaders who once lead our civilizations in their hours of need."

"And what's in there?" Iris asked pointing to a shining vault inserted in the circle.

"That container holds Cybertron's most precious relic, the one which Primus asked us to safeguard until it would be safe to return it back to the core: the Allspark."

"Really? That's the Allspark?" Ritchie expressed in disbelief.

"It's beautiful." Misty admired.

"This floor also seems familiar." Clemont noticed. "It reminds me to…"

"The Omega Lock? Indeed. It is a smaller version of the very same artifact. While the original one remains at our home world restored, Primus constructed this version to allow us to have access to the very same power which created this whole place. But in order to not abuse of such power, the only way to turn it on is with the Allspark."

Optimus pressed the Allspark's container into the circle, like inserting a key, causing a reaction which opened the circle and showed the same pool of mystical liquid which allowed Bumblebee to return back from the grave. Optimus took Ultra Magnus' hand and placed it into the pool, causing it to shine. Once it was over, Magnus pulled out his hand, and saw it was completely restored, just like before Predaking crushed it.

"With this special place within our home, Primus and Cybertron will never be far away." Elita declared before they exited the room.

"And what about that place?" Bonnie said pointing at the empty space. "You guys haven't decided how to use it yet?"

"Actually yes, but it is for you. Hot Rod, Bumblebee, Sideswipe and Moonracer started to wonder where could be your personal place, and since that area looks big enough for all of you, we decided you can keep it." Blaster revealed.

"Really?!" Bonnie asked in disbelief.

"All that part for us only?!" Max followed.

"I guess we'll need to take a closer look later in order to organize it." Ash decided.

"And vote which things to bring to pass time and accommodation." Dawn supported.

"Don't forget about the training room. Once Blaster gets that place set up, he can also add some info about pokémon battles in order for you to keep doing what you do best." Another familiar voice, specially for May, called arriving from one of the corridors, revealing to be a certain tank. "Unless you prefer the old way."

"Warpath! You have no idea how happy I am to see you." May exclaimed running to hug her partner.

"Hehe, how I missed that liveliness of yours, May. Glad you're happy again."

"Do you think we can also practice for pokémon contest in the training room?" Dawn added.

"Naturally, as long as you don't make a huge mess."

"Fear nothing, Ratchet, if that room can handle cybertronian military training that would be child's play." Blaster reassured.

"Wait until they end their route around base. They will be glad to know you are here." Warpath swore.

"How long do you think it will take them?" Bonnie asked, not aware of a pair of hands which caught her by surprise.

"Surprise! You missed me!" A certain female Autobot saluted her while moved her pretending she was flying.

"Moon!" Bonnie recognized before hugging her friend. "I have missed you. I'm so glad you are back."

Also in that moment, they heard footsteps coming from other corridor, and two familiar Autobots entered the room, but unaware of the gang's presence. They seemed to be having a conversation.

"Who will know it? I expected the place to store the relics will be similar to their place on Iacon, but it is just like the Hall of Records. It feels like being at home." Smokescreen admitted.

"Then perhaps you could give us a tour since we didn't see it yet."

"Iris! You guys are here. Glad to see you again, partner."

"Me too, Smokey."

"Pika pika!"

"Sparky, Ritchie! What a surprise."

"Hi Sideswipe. See? I told you we will see again, sooner than expected."

"I guess I need to start listening human proverbs and experiences."

"Hey, where's Axew?" Smokescreen noticed.

"He's right here. You maybe don't recognize him because he has evolved into a Fraxure, but it is him." Iris corrected as her pokémon ran to hug the Autobot's leg.

"Em…that evolved phased…it's something similar like growing?"

"You could say it. Don't worry Smokey, now that you're back we will have more than enough time to tell you about the pokémon world."

"Almost everyone is here." Misty said.

"Not everyone. We're still missing Hot Rod and Arcee." Ash recalled.

"And Bee?" Max added.

"They may be ending scouting their part of base." Magnus deduced.

"They are already here." Elita corrected hearing driving sounds.

The last three Autobots entered the room from another corridor in vehicle mode and transformed.

"Max!"

"Bee!"

"It seems that time doesn't pass here on Earth. You look exactly like when we departed."

"You too, Bee. Although it still surprises me the fact now you talk with your own voice. Guess I have gotten used to be the only one capable to understand you all this time too much."

"Hehe, don't bother about that, Max. It's still me, and we can still do all our hobbies together, but this time you can know me completely."

"And so as us. I also wondered how Bumblebee talked before." May revealed.

"I don't know if this sounds weird, but since this reunion has been sooner than the last time it doesn't look more exciting."

"Are you kidding, Hot? Look at them, the expressions on their faces, the shining of their eyes, even their tears say how much they waited for this encounter. It hasn't been for the time elapsed, but for the thinking we may not see each other again. That affected all of us, partner, even you and I."

Hot Rod sighed. "You're right, Arcee. Deep within my spark, I'm glad this moment reached."

"So let's not keep this unique couple waiting." She said looking at Ash and Serena, who also looked at them smiling.

Serena chuckled. "I wouldn't have said better myself, Arcee."

"Hey Ash. It's good to be back. And better, because now with this place linking Earth and Cybertron, there is no trouble for any possible goodbyes."

"You have said it, Hot Rod." Ash nodded giving him a thumb-up.

"Pika pi. Pikachu." The little pokémon said jumping onto the Autobot's head, making him laugh.

"How have you been doing, Pikachu? Taking care of your buddy for me?"

"Pikachu." Pikachu nodded.

"We all are glad for this awaited reunion, but we still have so much work to finish." Optimus reminded.

Bonnie groaned. "Don't break the moment."

"But he's right, Bonnie. Ratchet, how about if I give you a hand by checking the space bridge alongside you on its terminal? We can compare it with the schematics you shared with me on my laptop."

"And that way determine which parts will require further examination, avoiding seeing the whole structure and speeding up the general evaluation for its activation. Great suggestion, Clemont."

"Which also will take another burden off me." Blaster appreciated as well.

"I agree. Having the ground bridge operational as fast as possible will allow us to operate better around the planet." Ultra Magnus supported.

That also reminded the gang about what they wanted to tell Team Prime.

"Oh no, we forgot." Serena realized.

"We were so happy to see our friends again that we completely ignored the reason of why we wanted to meet them." Ash followed.

"Guys, we have something urgent to tell you. We have encountered Starscream." Ritchie finally revealed.

"What?!" Sideswipe exclaimed.

"Starscream?!" Arcee followed.

"Are you sure it was him?" Bumblebee asked.

"No doubt. He's the only one who talks that way." Iris answered.

"And he brought the Decepticons with him." Tracey added.

"If it wasn't for that special move Ash and Pikachu performed together, maybe we wouldn't make it." Max ended.

"How did Screamy arrived first?" Wheeljack wondered.

"A better question is what is he doing here again?" Hot Rod corrected.

"Hum, maybe after Cybertron disappeared and relocated, Starscream and the Decepticons thought it was destroyed. And now they have come back seeking revenge by taken over Earth." Serena theorized, before covering her mouth. "Did I say that loud?"

"Actually, that could fit perfectly." Elita said, surprising Serena. "After taking the Nemesis, Starscream and the remaining Decepticons managed to escape from Cybertron right before the horizon event covered everything."

"And because Primus only told Optimus about his intention, the Decepticons would have interpreted the event as the end of Cybertron." Ratchet deduced.

"And now Starscream has returned, driven by a blind desire of revenge, with intention of taken this world under Decepticon dominion, as a settlement for Cybertron's lost. This is exactly what Primus was referring about the darkness which still persuade our race, the reason why he wanted us to protect this world." Optimus realized. "Autobots, if the Decepticons have intention to keep claiming this planet, we must not allow them to keep trying to bring harm and destruction to our collective home. We must keep fighting the noblest of fights."

"Well, that's gotta be more like a challenge giving our actual status: with so much to do and with our enemies already here, who knows what they could be plotting now." Blaster suspected.

"I'm with Blaster. We need to make this base operational right away." Bee agreed.

"But exactly how? Blaster already said there are lots of things to set up." Misty reminded.

"And he's already under so much pressure."

"Thank you for concerning about me, Serena." Blaster appreciated.

"Maybe we should focus on the most important aspects first." Ash suggested.

"I agree." Ultra Magnus surprised. "Our first priorities should be the base's defenses and transport."

"Clemont and I can start checking the space bridge right away, Magnus. But in the possibility that we may need to replace, add or modify some points of the infrastructure we will require spare parts." Ratchet revealed.

"Well, that's gonna be a problem, because we looked at the storage and it's completely empty." Sideswipe objected.

"And the only materials we brought from Cybertron are exclusive for the lab. We are short of supplies." Arcee added.

"There has to be somewhere where we can find replacements or materials to speed things up." Hot Rod said.

"But where could we find so many well-needed materials on this planet? Not to mention cybertronian." Smokescreen reminded.

"If only there was a place of which you guys know about, like when we were reuniting at the Harbinger…" May started.

At hearing that, Elita got an idea. She looked at her sparkmate. "Optimus, do you think…?"

"It could work, but we will need help this time." He answered, knowing to what she was referring to before looking at the group. "Ash, I know you have had no time to acclimatize with the new situation, and spend time with your friends, but I require your assistance for a task."

Ash smiled at him. "It's okay, Optimus. You know there's nothing we wouldn't do for you guys."

"Then I request a few volunteers for this mission, since I believe your help will be most needed."

"Count with us, right buddy?"

"Pikachu."

"I'll go with you." Serena followed.

"Me too." Ritchie volunteered.

"Don't forget about me." May said.

"I'm going too, and don't even think about asking me to stay, big sister." Max demanded.

"Fear nothing May, I'll watch over him." Bumblebee reassured her.

"It's settled then: Hot Rod, Bumblebee, Warpath, Sideswipe, you will accompany me and Elita to watch over our friends during our scouting." Optimus pronounced.

"But how exactly are we going to reach where we're supposed to go?" Ritchie objected.

"We'll take Magnus' ship. That's how we all returned to Earth." Seaspray answered as they headed back to the hangar.

"I'll see if I can turn on the global locator system to keep you watched, in case the space bridge is ready earlier than expected. Hopefully the com links should be already online." Blaster told them while he kept working.

"Understood. We'll brief you once we arrive to destination." Elita said before they exited.

"Good luck wherever you go!" Bonnie saluted.

The Autobot ship took off and exited the hangar, setting course for the Autobots' first task. After a while, the ship reached to a very familiar place, near Dahara City. When the group got out, they remained without words for what stood in front of them.

"Wow, is that…?"

"Yes Ash. That's an Autobot starship." Optimus confirmed.

"I find it curious that humans haven't discovered this yet." Sideswipe opined.

"You can thank the desert for that." Hot Rod deduced.

"Do you think we will find something useful inside that?" Max asked.

"I'll scout ahead, in case there's any security measure still active."

"That would not be necessary, Bumblebee. This ship is desolated, without survivors onboard."

"How do you know that, Elita?" Serena asked.

"We've already been here."

"You do? And how do you know that?" Seaspray asked confused, but the other Autobots started to suspect something.

"Hold on? Are you saying…?" Warpath started.

Optimus nodded before looking at the ship. "This is the Autobot ship which we came to investigate alongside Ratchet long ago. Before we even knew Galvatron was still alive."

"So, this is where…?" Bee followed.

Elita nodded, but she showed a face which could tell that this place only brought bad memories. "This is where Optimus contracted the cybonic plague."

"What? This is where he got sick?" Ritchie asked shocked.

"Ratchet said that illness is only contagious if you make contact with infected energon, right?" May reminded.

"Precisely. The last time we came looking for survivors, but it was obvious the illness consumed all its passengers." Optimus narrated.

"And because of what happened last time, we were forced to return before we could record thoroughly the rest of the ship. There's no way to know what kind of materials was this ship carrying, resources which may could be what our new base requires to be complete." Elita added.

"That's the reason why we request your assistance: the cybonic plague will prevent us to explore the wreckage safely, but if you can make some of your pokémon to disinfect all the sources of infection,"

"We can lead the path all clean for you to inspect the ship without risk." Serena finished.

"You got it. We can use pokémon with fire type moves. That should be enough to burn the contaminated traces." Max suggested.

"Just in case we left a little drop behind, do you still possess the cure in the base's data, right?"

"Of course, May. The doctor made sure to not forget something so important." Seaspray reassured her.

"Then we better get started." Ash said pulling out one of his poke balls.

Each trainer called one of their pokémon: Ash summoned Infernape, Serena had Braixen, Ritchie called out Zippo and May had Blaziken. The Autobots allowed them to enter by the same entrance they used the previous time. Once they reached the first spacious room, they spotted it full of Autobot corpses and puddles of infected energon, where Optimus got sick.

"This is the room Optimus talked about." Ash identified.

"All that must be the energon where the virus is still present." Serena pointed.

"Then we better start cleaning all this quarantine." Ritchie pronounced.

Instantly, all the fire type pokemon started to operate: Infernape, Zippo and Braixen used Flamethrower, while Blaziken used Overheat, to burn the corpses and ignite the energon puddles to eradicate the cybonic plague presence, always making sure none of the energon traces exploded, created a wildfire or damage the ship more. After a while, the Autobots spotted traces of smoke sneaking out of the ship.

"Looks like they are already on duty." Warpath deduced.

"Now we just need to wait." Bee said.

"But how long?" Sideswipe objected.

"Until they believe it is safe for us." Optimus answered.

Meanwhile inside…

"Uf, looks like we are almost done with this." Ritchie observed seeing all the bodies being purified by the flames and almost all the energon remains consumed.

"Then I guess it is already safe for Optimus and the others." May acknowledged.

"Pikachu, Sparky, go with the Autobots to give them the all clear." Ash requested.

"Pika." Pikachu nodded before he and Sparky exited the room.

Moments later, the Autobots keep waiting outside, others trying to pass time by any mean like Hot Rod laying down looking the sky, like if he was sunbathing, while others like Sideswipe simply walked from one side to another. Then they heard small footsteps coming from the entrance and saw both electric pokémon waving at them.

"So, how is it going? It's everything good enough?" Hot Rod asked.

"Pikachu." Pikachu answered with a thumb-up.

"Thanks pal. They have finished securing the inside."

"Then let's proceed." Optimus instructed.

With the two pokémon ahead, the Autobots followed the path to the room where their human companions awaited them.

"Not bad. Smells a little smoky around but it should be out of any biohazard." Warpath noticed.

"From this room at least, but we should check the rest of the ship is case there are still traces hidden." Max suggested.

"Agree. But be careful." Elita advised.

Warpath, Seaspray and Bumblebee accompanied their friends while they continued the cleaning. Hot Rod, Sideswipe, Elita and Optimus remained in the room.

"Meanwhile, let's see if there was something useful on this wreckage which our former comrades were transporting. Rest all within the Allspark." Sideswipe started as he and Hot Rod turned on the room's terminal.

"Start with the cargo manifest." Optimus commanded.

"On it." Hot Rod agreed as he starting typing into the computer, but he encountered issues immediately. "Oh scrap, the system is encrypted."

"This is really going to delay our advances in seeking any possible things." Sideswipe complained.

"Wait. If the systems of this Autobot ship are protected, this means it could be protecting something of great value, to ensure not any scavenger could access to its manifest. Including the Decepticons." Optimus realized.

"Which means the ship must be transporting something of great importance. But how do we figure it out?" Elita questioned.

"We will require professional support." Optimus answered before he checked his com link. "Optimus to base, do you read me? Can you receive this call?"

"Affirmative, Optimus." Blaster answered from the other side. "We receive you, loud and clear."

"It appears your doubts if the communications were online have dissipated." Smokescreen complemented.

"How is your search going, sir?" Ultra Magnus asked.

"We may have unburied an intriguing discovery, but we have reached to a stalemate. There's an encryption which blockades our progress." Optimus answered.

"Can you decipher it from there?" Elita asked.

"From which source it comes?" Blaster requested.

"From Autobot source. From the looks like it appears to be military or intelligence."

"From one of our frequencies? Like humans would say, piece of cake."

Blaster stopped with what he was working and started with the leaders' request. The screen changed to the same one from the Autobot ship. Next it showed a progress bar being completed. It passed a while until they group received news.

"Done. You now can proceed without obstacles."

"Many thanks, Blaster." Optimus appreciated.

"We have checked the rest of this antique, there are no any additional traces of that cursed plague." Seaspray announced once he and the others returned.

"Well done. We also have made progress in accessing the ship's manifest."

"So, what it holds?" May asked curious.

"We don't know yet. It will take us a pair of minutes to inspect it. Wait for us outside while Optimus and I are finished." Elita answered.

"About time. I'm tired of smelling only smoke and burned metal."

"Come on, little brother, don't be a weakling." May encouraged.

Leaving the two Autobot leaders working, the rest of the group exited the ship through the aperture.

"What do you think it may be what the ship contains? Maybe another relic from Iacon?" Ritchie suggested.

"Perhaps another awesome relic from the ancient Primes." Max followed.

"I hope it may be some kind of defense which can hold off the Decepticons." Serena expected.

"Whatever it is, let's hope it may come in handy." Ash simply said.

"How about a nucleon shock cannon? That would bring lots of pain to the Cons."

"Hahaha, in your dreams, big guy. I would like to be lucky enough to find something like that." Sideswipe laughed.

"Guys, keep it down. I think we are not alone." Bumblebee asked.

"It may be a Hippowdon or a Cacnea, they are common on this environment." Max deduced.

"Then why I'm hearing some chatter?" Sideswipe corrected.

Bumblebee looked around the corner carefully and spotted what expected to be wrong: there was a couple of Vehicons around Magnus' ship, inspecting the area.

"Scrap. We got company, there are almost half a dozen Cons guarding the ship." Bee shared.

"Cons here? Just what we needed." Hot Rod cursed.

"What are they doing here?" Ritchie asked.

"Who cares? It certainly can't be for anything good." Max said.

"Blaster, we have a situation, we could use a little help here." Sideswipe called by com link, but he received nothing but static. "Scrap. Or Blaster triggered something he wasn't supposed to or the Cons doesn't want us to know they're here."

"There are just a few ones, I can Kaboom them easily."

"No Warpath, we don't know how many of them truly are, or if they are in tune with the warship. We need a plan." Bumblebee proposed.

"If just one of us could enter the ship, will be able to contact base?" Serena asked.

"Since the ship has a direct link to New Iacon, whatever trick the Cons are using will not work. But we'll have to operate it from the inside." Seaspray answered.

"Maybe we will have to go the way Warpath suggested. Taking them all down so next we call to base from the ship."

"Great idea, Ash." Bumblebee supported.

"You better get ready, pal." May announced.

"Alright." Warpath celebrated changing to vehicle mode.

Warpath tried to aim his cannon as hidden as possible to not being detected until he had the Cons at sight.

"Boom."

He fired, destroying two of the Vehicons, the nearest ones, but also alarming the rest.

"Commander Starscream, we are under attack. We have located the remains of an Autobot ship, but it seems the Autobots are here as well." One of the Cons reported to the Nemesis.

Starscream groaned. "Looks like they are also preparing to establish their operations as well as us. I will not allow them to step in our way more than they already have. All combatants ready for ground bridge, seek and destroy any enemy resistance you encounter!"

Back to the desert, the Autobots had no difficult to eliminate the remaining Vehicons.

"That wasn't too hard." Sideswipe realized.

But then a ground bridge opened a few meters from them, one from which emerged an entire battalion of different kinds of Decepticon soldiers.

"Me and my big mouth." Sideswipe cursed.

"Now you know what Dawn feels on these situations." Ritchie added.

"Those are a lot of Cons." Serena spotted.

"Take cover!"

Hot Rod's warning came just in time when the Cons fired a storm of lasers over them.

"We still need to reach the ship!" Max reminded.

"How? There's no way we all can pass through all those Cons." Warpath objected continuing firing in tank form.

"Not all of us. Sideswipe, you're the fastest of all of us, right?"

"As if you doubted that, Ritchie."

"Perfect. When they are distracted with us, drive as fast as you can to the ship. We'll keep them busy." Ash planned.

"Hum, there's one catch, I don't know how to pilot that thing. Well…I mean…I have piloted one…but it has been a long time that I'm not sure if I…"

"Cut the chatter, newbie. Just run and use the radio, you don't have to lift it off the ground." Seaspray specified.

"Alright, I got it."

The Autobots returned fire, forcing the Cons to try to advance toward them. Once they were close enough, Sideswipe came out in vehicle form, running over some as he made his way to the ship. The Cons tried to fire at him, but when Warpath fired his gatling gun and eliminated a lot of them, they focused their attention of the group again. That allowed Sideswipe to reach and enter the ship. Fortunately, it didn't take him so long to find the right buttons.

"Blaster, can you guys hear me? We have an emergency."

"Sideswipe? If this for real?" Ratchet wondered.

"What's the reason for this call, soldier?" Ultra Magnus demanded.

"The Cons, of course! We don't know what are they doing on this place, but it seems they are interested on the ship as well as us! We are outnumbered and we could appreciate some backup!" Sideswipe reported with hurry.

"Think Starscream could be looking for resources as well as we?" Moonracer asked.

"Right now doesn't matter. If Starscream has send all those forces it cannot be for a simple energon scouting." Arcee suspected.

"Please guys, tell me you already have the space bridge ready for use."

"Unfortunately not, Sideswipe. Clemont and I have not still finished checking the entire whole." Ratchet reported.

"But they need help right now. There must be some way we can send them support." Clemont said.

"There's one. It wouldn't take us as fast as the great portal, but we will at least offer them air support." Wheeljack offered looking at Magnus, who understood what he was referring to.

"We have no other choice, we will have to take the necessary risks. Autobots, prepare for combat. Blaster, communicate with Optimus and report him everything."

"Yes sir." Blaster said before he used the com-link to reach his leader.

Meanwhile, outside the ship, the group was still trying to hold the Cons off, but it was being harder for someone: Seaspray tried his best to move, but he constantly tripped on.

"Arg, how I detest to have to walk through all this sand! It looks as the Sea of Rust!"

"Don't bother by the sand, just keep firing!" Warpath shouted.

The kids' pokémon also supported the Autobots: Pikachu and Sparky launched their electric attacks at the two-wheeler and ordinary Decepticon soldiers, the ones most vulnerable to their attacks; Infernape decided to engage them in close combat with Mach Punch, the same as Zippo with Dragon Claw and Steel Wing and Blaziken with Sky Uppercut and Blaze Kick; Braixen tried to weak the bigger ones, the tanks, with Fire Blast.

"Ash, you and your friends return inside. Warn Optimus and Elita, we'll contain them while you find them." Bumblebee instructed.

"Alright."

And the five children went inside the ship while their pokémon and the Autobots kept fighting.

"Out here we are easy targets." Seaspray noticed.

"We will have a better holding chance from inside the entrance."

"Good point, Bee. Warpath, you first. Once you are in position, riddle them." Hot Rod suggested.

"They will never see me coming until the Kaboom sounds." The Autobot tank nodded as he drove back to the entrance.

Warpath jumped into the hole, changed back to vehicle form and started to fire his cannon at every Decepticon he had in sight. That was the signal for the others to retreat there. Meanwhile, the humans met with the Autobot leaders.

"Optimus!" Ash called.

"Elita!" Serena added.

"Kids, what are you doing here?"

"There's something bad taking place outside."

"Is Cons, they are here! The others are holding them off!" Max exclaimed.

"We don't know how, when and why are they here, but it seems they are interested on this ship the same as us. They have sent an entire battalion." May added.

"Optimus, Blaster here. I know you may be busy but I have something urgent to report." The communication officer Autobot called by com link.

"We know Blaster, the kids have briefed us."

"The ground bridge is still not operational, but Ultra Magnus and the others are coming to assist you right now. It will take them a while to arrive but they will come airborne." Ratchet revealed.

"By the time they arrive, it is possible the Decepticon presence will increase to a level that we will not be able to withstand our position. And from what we have discovered, this ship is one asset we cannot afford to lose."

"Then what we can do?" Iris asked concerned.

"If only we had gone with them." Dawn lamented.

"Do you want me to transport everything with a personal ground bridge?" Blaster suggested.

"No, I have an idea. One risky but it may help us to counter the Decepticons. Ratchet, listen to me carefully, you must go to the core room. There you will find an energon pump valve. Pull from it down, and you will know what to do next."

"Understood."

Ratchet followed Optimus's instructions and passed through a door which led to an elevator. It took him to a lower level of New Iacon, one which looked like some kind of launching station, similar to the ones used for spacecrafts. He searched the room until he found the valve Optimus described him. He operated it and allowed energon to flow through tubes which ended in a huge structure attached to the station. At the moment, a lever emerged from the floor, and Ratchet wondered if that lever and the structure may be connected. Following his instinct, he pulled the lever, making the energon to infuse into it. That started to cause a huge reaction, lighting up the structure, which started to move like it if was ready for launch something as the ceiling seemed to be opening: that structure of the station was a big ship, bigger even that Magnus's. Ratchet understood what it was, or maybe who it was.

"By the Allspark. You're back with us."

Back with the small group, the Autobots and pokémon continued holding off their assaulters from the entrance. Because the Cons couldn't see how the inside was, they were unable to predict where the shots could come.

"Like fishing Magikarp in a barrel." Warpath declared in excitement.

"What?" Seaspray asked confused.

Suddenly, some of the Cons were hit by shots which it appeared to be coming from above them. They looked up and spotted the Jackhammer standing right in front of them all. The ship fired two missiles which impacted right where the Decepticons were closer to the ship's entrance, forcing them to split up and retreat from the impacts, the lucky ones who didn't get caught.

"Jackie always knows how to provide backup." Seaspray celebrated.

Right after positioned itself above the area where the missiles impacted, Ultra Magnus, Moonracer, Smokescreen and Arcee jumped out of the ship, landed and started to battle the Decepticons, carrying their signature weapons. They even gave their companions their own.

"Just in time, I was beginning to get out of room to aim." Warpath appreciated.

"Here Seaspray. Ratchet thought it would come in handy for you." Moonracer called throwing him some kind of weapon.

"Ha, doctor, you know how to make my day." Seaspray thanked testing his new signature weapon: some kind of harpoon launcher, equipped with heavy harpoons, strong enough to pierce through the Decepticon tanks' chassis.

"Sir, the Autobots have brought air support." One of the flying Vehicons reported.

"Then what are you waiting for?! Take it down!" Starscream demanded.

Immediately all flyers took off and started to fire at the Wheeljack's ship.

"Oh scrap."

The Wrecker had no other choice but to fly away, trying to lose his chasers.

"Guys, I am in a bind here. I cannot keep providing you backup until I deal with these guys."

"What did you just say, Jackie? I thought you said Wreckers don't call for backup." Sideswipe joked.

"But always comes for cleanup. Don't forget that."

"Autobots, we have to resist until Wheejack can provide us support." Ultra Magnus instructed.

"The best way is to shelter ourselves inside the ship." Bumblebee proposed.

"Then move out."

Even with the reinforcements and special weapons' aid, the Decepticons were still too many to battle them in open field, so the Autobots did as before and returned inside the ship.

"Commander, the enemy has retreated inside the crashed ship." The Vehicon in charge reported.

"Hold your fire. Surround the wreckage, if they don't want to give up fighting, that will be their tomb."

The Decepticon troops obeyed and surrounded the entire ship, blocking any possible escape routes.

"Optimus Prime, in case you are there listening, I will give you to choose: abandon your quest and surrender this discovery and we will allow you Autobots to live for this once, or you just can keep fighting while we bring down whatever remains of this pile of scrap over your heads." Starscream threatened.

Everyone heard the ultimatum inside.

"Starscream is out there too?" Iris wondered.

"He must be talking by speakers through one of his subordinates." Elita deduced.

"Starscream, what plans do you have for this Autobot belonging?!" Optimus answered back.

"I could ask you the same Prime, specially after the great crime you performed against our home planet! You seemed to prefer this rock over Cybertron, so now we shall simply take it from you and turn it to a suitable home for the Decepticons."

Optimus heard a beeping sound coming from his wrist, so he deployed a little hologram which showed what he expected.

"Sir, what are your instructions?"

"Ultra Magnus, cease all fire. I will handle this myself." Optimus ordered as he ignited his jet-pack and made his way through the ceiling.

"What do you think Optimus is going to do? Perhaps use the Star Saber to wipe out all the Cons in one blow?" Max asked.

"We didn't bring it, and neither Optimus." Smokescreen informed.

"Then what is he going to do?" Serena asked concerned.

Outside, Optimus stood at top of the ship, with the Decepticons aiming at him.

"Elita, at my signal, get to Ultra Magnus's ship as fast as you can."

"Why Optimus? What is your plan?"

"This place is going to turn into a true cybertronian battlefield. And you know how extreme they used to be back in the war."

"Understood. Everyone, get ready to roll."

"Why? Is Wheeljack going to pick us?" May asked.

Speaking of Wheeljack, he was still having trouble to leave behind the flyer Cons. Then, all by sudden, a storm of missiles came of out nowhere which destroyed all flyers.

"Whoa, where did that come from?" Wheeljack demanded in relief.

The only answer he got was a huge shadow covering totally the Jackhammer. Back with Optimus…

"Starscream, I will give you only one chance. If you care about your troops, stop your attack and leave now."

"Hahahahaha, you are in no position to make me demands, Prime. Maybe you have forgotten how superior we Decepticons are when it comes to numbers."

"That may be true on most cases. But for once, we surpass you in firepower."

In that moment, everything started to shake a little. The sand flew like if there was a storm incoming, and the huge shadow caught the Decepticons' attention. Optimus stood where he was, while something huge approached and positioned right above him: it looked like some kind of cybertronian ship, with two big engines at the sides and some kind of aperture in the front. It seemed like an Autobot cruiser designed for combat, but the best was yet to come: the ship started to change form, the engines turned into two giant arms, two feet emerged, the metallic wings from the rear moved to what seems to be the back, and the front part let way to a head which emerged. The ship was a huge Autobot, and from the Decepticons' reaction one very known.

"Sweet Solus Prime, is that…" One of the Vehicons expressed shocked.

"It cannot be an ordinary titan, that's even huge." Other opined.

"Oh no, not him." Another said, completely terrified.

"I thought he was finished." A Seeker soldier revealed.

"Identity: Omega Supreme. Status: awaiting command." The new Autobot said.

Team Prime and the humans, already prepared at the exit for when they needed to run, also witnessed the arrival of the cybertronian giant.

"Wow, that is one huge robot." Ritchie admired.

"Pika." Sparky added.

"Is…is it…friend or foe?" Serena asked nervous.

On the contrary side, Sideswipe was laughing cheered. "Now you Cons are doomed."

Wheeljack followed it too.

He whistled from the dimensions of the newcomer. "Where did this oversized guy come from?"

"Easy Wheeljack. He's one of us." Optimus surprised before turning at the titan. "We need to recover this ship, but the Decepticons are not going to allow us to take it for good. You must clear the area before getting ready for transport."

"Authority recognized: Optimus Prime. Command acknowledged: commencing enemy eradication."

Omega Supreme pulled out a spike from one of his arms and started to launch a storm of missiles at the Decepticons, impacting many of them. As usual, the Decepticons responded by firing with everything they got, but unlike any ordinary cybertronian, it looked like nothing of what they did was enough to harm this colossal Autobot, who also deployed some turrets from the wings of his back which fired lasers at them randomly.

"That's our signal. Everyone, roll out!" Elita authorized.

Team Prime changed to vehicle mode and after allowing the humans and pokémon to get in started their way to Ultra Magnus' ship. They had to move between their enemies, but surprisingly they were too focused on their giant friend that they didn't even bother and managed to reach the ship without problems. Optimus spotted the ship blasting off and took flight as well.

"Omega, our friends are safe. You don't need to hold yourself anymore." Optimus authorized.

"Command received. Special weapons' use authorized. Starting annihilation."

Omega's other hand generated a huge amount of energy before it was fired as a huge beam of plasma which obliterated everything it touched. Because of this, the number of Decepticons lowered very fast, from an entire battalion to simply half of it. Omega Supreme changed to his alt mode and continue crushing the Cons with his huge arsenal: missiles, laser cannons and the plasma beam which now fired from the front, decimating the last enemies. Only a few Cons survived, Seeker soldiers, which decided to transform and take off, retreating from such adversary.

"Enemy status: terminated. Proceeding with additional task: commencing transport."

After seeing no more enemies to fight, the huge Autobot approached the crashed ship and charged the same energy of the plasma cannon, but this time caused a different effect: it pulled from the ship, making it to levitate in the air like if he was using invisible wires, a magnetic beam. Once the wreckage was safely hooked, Omega started to upload it until it was high enough to not been spotted by humans and made his way back to New Iacon with the other two Autobots ships and Optimus after him. Meanwhile, the survivors went to report what happened.

"What are you doing here? Where is everyone else?" Starscream demanded.

"The Autobots surprised us, they had a secret weapon. We managed to trap them within the ship, but they turned the tides sending that destroyer of Omega Supreme to exterminate us." One Seeker soldier reported.

"What?! Omega Supreme?! Impossible, Megatron managed to finish that monster for good."

"It appears Optimus wasn't joking when he warned you to retreat. If there's something we should already know so far by now is that the Autobot leader never lies." Knock Out pointed.

"And how would you expect to prevent something like that would happen? Exactly since when the Autobots have possessed such powerful active enough to counter us?"

"Beats me. But what matters now is that thanks to your pride you have cost us the 90% of what remained of our military might! Surely now, even without counting that giant, the Autobots could match us in numbers."

"How dare you talk to me like that?!"

"Starscream, while is true Knock Out does not possess authority to discuss choices from commanding officers like you or me, he does have a logical argument. Today we have suffered too many casualties. At this point, we cannot risk losing the few troops we have left in direct confrontations." Shockblast supported putting a hand on his shoulder.

"Specially without knowing what other surprises the Autobots could be reserving for us." Knock Out added.

Starscream sighed looking at Shockblast. "You're right as always, there is no way we can keep battling the Autobots like before in our current status. If we want to have any chance to gain the advantage in our favor, we will require additional help. It's time to call for reinforcements."

"Commander Starscream, we got news for you." Someone called through com link.

"Please, tell me they are good ones."

"We have secured the target. It remains desolated, and ready for recovery."

"Ah, at least something from us will still be of use. After all this time, the Harbinger will still contribute to the Decepticon cause." Starscream smirked as the scene changed to the Harbinger crash-site, with the Decepticon engineers starting to dismantle parts of the ship.

At the same time, back to New Iacon, Omega Supreme have finished transporting the Autobot ship into the fortress and returned to his station. Now, as everyone looked at him, he returned back to stasis.

"So are you saying we had a giant Autobot under our feet?" Iris expressed in disbelief.

"And that he managed to beat an entire battalion of Cons by himself?" Bonnie added.

"We are not talking about an ordinary Autobot, kids." Arcee reassured.

"Omega Supreme is like a super unit, totally equipped for one purpose: wipe out Decepticon armies." Sideswipe followed.

"Initially he was assigned as the guardian of the only access to the core of Cybertron, right before the Great War changed everything." Ultra Magnus explained.

"I have heard the historical reports about him, he was awesome. But I thought he fell long ago." Smokescreen remembered.

"And it's true. Despite his great power, Megatron found the way to defeat and submit him, opening him the gates to the very heart of our planet, which he tried to bend it to his twisted will in an attempt to control it, resulting on its pollution." Ratchet narrated.

"Then…are you saying he has returned the same way Bumblebee did?"

"Indeed Max. Primus must have returned him from the Allspark in order to allow him to help us once again. This time as the protector of New Iacon." Elita deduced.

"Wow, so amazing. With this guy on our side, the Cons will be gone before even they can do anything." Dawn expressed in excitement.

"Pi piplup." The penguin pokémon supported.

"Hold on Dawn. Wouldn't that be going a bit too far?"

"Misty is right. Omega Supreme holds a great amount of power, one which must be used wisely." Optimus clarified.

"Which means he will only assist us in case of big emergencies." Tracey translated.

"Ones which we cannot deal with." Hot Rod added.

"So, until the next time that we need him, this guardian will remain here, watching over our new home." Optimus declared.

"Till all are one." Team Prime recited before they went back into the elevator.

"So what exactly did that ship hold?" Ash asked.

"Did you find something useful?" Clemont added.

"Indeed. Besides all the ship's recycled infrastructure which can be used later, the ship's cargo haul contained lots of spare parts suitable for reparations or reformations around base, enough to fill our storage almost completely." Elita started.

"Which means we now have what our space bridge properly requires to be fully complete and operational." Blaster deduced.

"But most important: besides an advanced set of orbitals and perimeter sensors, an entire dismantled computer server and a full equipment for long-ranged communications, the ship was transporting something which will raise the base's defenses to a level worthy of a fortress. Something which Iacon could have used to prevent its downfall: a last generation defensive energy shield system." Optimus revealed.

"Wow, that sounds pretty good." Wheeljack suspected.

"It is. I had time to check it's schematics: it can encompass all the base, even the entire island, and its resistance is such that is able to endure a long siege or even an orbital attack from even greater might than the Decepticon warship." Blaster explained.

"Which means with that trinket we will absolutely untouchable." Serena understood.

"They will be unable to take this base down like the did with the one of Mt. Moon." Bonnie added.

"Now we can stand against anything the Decepticons throw at us." May said cheered.

"Then what are we waiting for? Let's get that shield installed right away."

"Indeed Ash. With the proper equipment and ways now on our hands, we now can turn the tides against the Decepticons, for the sake of this world." Optimus agreed.

"Then we better get back to work. There is so much to do, and the war is not going to wait." Ratchet encouraged.

"Oh no, I also forgot to tell mom. Blaster, base has phone reception?"

"Eh..." Blaster doubted.

"Then we better check it out! I'm sure she's worried sick." Ash hurried, pulling Blaster from one of his fingers, trying to take him to the command center and check it out.

"Oh Ash, what a kid."

Iris laughed. "You took it from me, Smokey."
