For the very first time in a long time Ronnie found herself on the edge of hysteria, before she could speak the rapid sound of the door creaking and Lola hissing down the stairs.

" change of plans Lucy, I need you upstairs...cunt faces brother called the cops".

Lucy unceremoniously shoved the gag back into Ronnie's mouth as the Latina started to struggle, reflexively Lucy backhand Ronnie hard knocking the other woman back.

Wincing Ronnie felt her Lucy's hit connect, and fell back onto the mattress. Her face stung but most of all her pride was wounded, the chain around her neck was tight borderline painful.

The helplessness in watching as Lucy stormed up the stairs and disappeared from Ronnie Ann's line of sight made the Latina whish she could scream.

Please be okay Lincoln...

Upstairs Lincoln sat numbly as two officers took his statement, Lola and Lucy sat on either side of him. If not for his younger sisters support, Lincoln didn't know if he could function on his own.

Fear and concern for Ronalda, had Lincoln on the edge of panic. Apparently Boby had called the police to report Ronnie Ann's disappearance.

" Mr Loud, when was the last time you saw your wife"?

Lincoln winced as the last few days were passed in a boozy film, his last memory of seeing Ronalda had to of been the morning that they fought over Lola and Lucy.

" if I'm being honest, it's been about two days since I last saw her...we texted a little but she's been preoccupied by our cafe".

Lucy patted his shoulder supportingly as the cop wrote Lincoln's answer down before asking another, " two days is kind of a long time to go without seeing your spouse Mr Loud, were the to you you getting along"?

The fight from earlier in the week played through Lincoln's mind, the officers were looking pointedly at him now waiting for his answer.

This was the first time in their interactions that Lincoln realized that he might be being looked at for Ronnie's disappearance...

" No everything between us has been good".

It might of been a small lie, but Lincoln felt like his heart was going to beat out of his chest, the officer writing gave him a hard look as if to challenge Lincoln's word.

The other officer gave Lincoln a card and told him to call if he remembered any other information or if Ronnie Ann came home.

Once they were gone Lincoln breathed a sigh of relief and collapsed onto the couch, while Lola put a supporting hand on His shoulders.

" you need to be careful how you talk to the police next Lincoln, their not your friends".

Groaning Lincoln looked up at Lola in misery, " what am I supposed to do...I don't know what to do except wait".

Humming softly Lola rubbed Lincoln's shoulders in an attempt to relieve his stress, outside the room Lucy Scowled as she re hide the documents she stole from Ronnie Ann recently.

With the cops sniffing around, Lucy had to be careful. Lola was worried about making the bitches disappearance seem natural, when all Lucy wanted was to watch Ronnie bleed...

Killing the whore would have to take back seat until the cops backed off, even now Lucy could make out the unfamiliar car watching their house. Just waiting for them to fuck up.

Rubbing her still flat belly, Lucy vowed that she would protect the unborn life at all costs. Even if it ment curving her temper.

Ronnie Ann breathed for now...

Lincoln allowed Lola to pull him upstairs, the blonde was being so kind to him. Lincoln knew he didn't deserve Lola nor Lucy's kindness, he appreciated the effort however.

Lincoln pulled his wallet out and gave Lola a twenty dollar bill, " why don't you and Luce get a pizza, I know it hasn't exactly been a fun summer break".

Lola blinked for a minute before scoffing, " we're family Lincoln, even though I've always felt closer"...

Lola leaned up and kissed Lincoln's cheek softly, before leaving him alone.

Lincoln leaned against his bedroom door as he watched Lola disappear, Lola had not forgotten the feelings they shared.

Lincoln tried to forget, about the time they spent together but he could never stop loving either girl. And then there was Ronnie Ann, his childhood crush...

Lincoln could almost picture Ronnie Ann coming home to him wearing her apron from work, Her hair still in a bun and a pleased smile on her face. Lincoln felt a tear leak down his cheek as he tried to imagine a world without Ronnie Ann.

Time passed for Ronnie at a snail's pace, she saw Lucy and Lola daily to her dismay. The two girls were impartial at best, Lucy was particularly violent when she came on her own.

The day after threats kill her, Lucy came back next morning to torment her, " your drunk brother called the cops, but their not going to find you...remember that talk we had".

Lucy mimicked slitting her own throat and chuckled heartily when Ronalda flinched. The goth then forced her to drink a cup of soup broth, Ronnie tried to scream when Lucy pulled the gag out but was silenced by the sound of an electric trill.

Locking eyes, Ronnie noticed with Horror that Lucy had a taser. After that Ronnie ate whenever Lucy forced her too, it was terrible living down there.

The basement was dark almost twenty four seven, the only illumination she got were when Lincoln's sisters made their visits.

It had to of been days by now, Ronnie pulled at the chain around her neck until she felt blood ride to the surface.

When she wasn't actively trying to find a way to escape Ronnie was worrying about Lincoln, there was something terribly wrong with Lola and Lucy and Lincoln needed to be warned.

So far Lucy hadn't come through on any of her threats but the day would come and soon, Ronnie just needed to find her way out before anything happened.

Almost an entire week passed before Lincoln heard anything back from the police, he got more than the idea that thought he was somehow involved but they couldn't get enough information.

It was awful, Lincoln spent most of the week lamenting how little time he and Ronnie Ann had spent together since opening Loud's Cafe. Said Cafe was being ran by a new manager Lincoln had to hire.

More troubling Lincoln had found some concerning receipts from the last few months, business expenses that had no business being as high as they were.

Lincoln was disturbed to say the least, Ronnie Ann was incharge of almost every aspect of the Cafe. The receipts were being signed over by her.

After pulling several months of their books Lincoln felt his blood boil, fifty thousand dollars, he was missing close to fifty thousand dollars from their joint savings account. Ronnie had well and truly fucked them, so much for her being a business woman.

What else wasn't she telling him about?

Lincoln tried to calm himself but couldn't help but feel like an idiot, he had given her complete control over that Cafe. That was Ronalda's venture...but the amount of money missing. Was she cheating on him?

Lucy found him sitting over at his desk with a screw of documents surrounding him, Lincoln tried to smile but he couldn't force himself.

Lucy hugged him from behind, her long black hair covering the two like a veil. Disipite being quiet in nature Lucy was always very affectionate, Lincoln had long missed the warmth of her embrace.

" it'll all be okay, you'll see"...

Lincoln almost laughed, if things got any worse he didn't know what he would do.
