Veteran's Center, Harlem. Manhattan, White Space.

Modern Tails and Kid Ruby have been a huge help to F.E.A.S.T.'s sister site uptown. The Veteran's Center. They support Aunt May in providing food and supplies to countless people affected by this dimensional predicament. A nice relaxing place that Amazing Spider-Man, Modern Sonic, and Adults Weiss and Blake decided to visit after they finished their adventures at Sky Sanctuary.

"You're back." Modern Tails noticed his friends entering the building amidst work.

"Hi!" Kid Ruby greeted them with a smiling handwave.

"Sup! See you've been busy being a little hero." smiled Modern Sonic, giving the little girl a high five. "We found you someone as a reward." He said, signaling to a certain someone to make their presence known.

Kid Yang then enters the building, amazed by her otherworldly surroundings before spotting her little sister across from her. "Ruby! There you are!" She happily waves at her.

The instant her shocked eyes take notice, Ruby screams, "YANG!", while rushing to embrace her big sister with an emotional hug and tears pouring out of her eyes, "I was so scared and worried! Where were you?!"

"Looking for you, silly. Don't worry, I'm here now. Nothing will tear us apart again." Yang calmly assures her, being teary-eyed herself.

"This is great! Where did you find her?" Tails smiled at his friends.

"At Sky Sanctuary. From Knuckles's island, remember?" Sonic answered.

"You mean…those floating ruins?" Tails starts recalling past adventures at that Zone, "Yeah, I do! So that's another Zone from the past you suddenly revisited! I'm starting to understand the secret of this world."

"Is it related to how and why those two are kids again? They don't remember about Team RWBY or ever attending Beacon." Adult Weiss questioned, still confused by her supposedly de-aged friends.

"I theorize their situation is a bit more complicated, but distortions in spacetime are definitely the cause of all this." Tails responded.

"We restored three of the districts but the rest are still off-limits 'cause of that weird fog." Amazing Spider-Man said, before revealing the three Time Keys in his possession, "We did snatch these keys from some of my rouges' gallery. That monster must've chosen them to be their guardians."

"Keys are meant to unlock something. Know what for?" Adult Blake asked her spider-boyfriend.

"No. What I do know is that the villains were using these to anchor themselves to this world. These might unlock the exit that can get us outta here." Peter claimed.

"Or lead us into a trap." Blake argued otherwise.

"Doesn't matter either way if we don't know where we can use 'em." Sonic shrugged.

One answer to this mystery might be revealed by Mega Man X, contacting his friends through their commlink saying, 'X to Dimensional Avengers, come in!'

"Hearing you, X! What's up?" Spidey responded.

'I found something interesting during my patrol of the Upper West. Meet me at the district's edge.' X announced.

"On our way." Spidey retorted before the call ended.

"Can we come?" Ruby requested innocently.

"As long as you keep out of trouble." Spidey allowed while ready to rendezvous with his reploid teammate.

"No promises." Yang snarked slyly.

Later…

X stands at the edge of the Upper West Side district, next to the black fog that is blocking access to the rest of the city. He stands there patiently until he smiles at the arrival of Team Amazing, "Glad you could make it."

"If you called to talk 'bout the creepy fog, we already know, dude." Modern Sonic teased the reploid.

"Thought so. But I might have found the means that'll help us remove it." X replied.

"A giant fan?" Amazing Spider-Man joked.

"No. It's this." X retorted sternly.

BGM-Sonic Battle OST-Emerl's Theme

The Maverick Hunter then directs the party to a floating inactive gate made of various gears, much to everyone's shock and causing an amazed Kid Ruby to express, "Cool…"

"Is this a Gate?" Adult Weiss commented.

"One that leads to another spacetime, I assume. I would've investigated further but it's locked. It appears the only way to gain access is with three special keys that share its energy signature." X explained to the team.

Suddenly, Modern Tails gasps, "Spider-Man, those keys you found! This is what they unlock!", upon realizing the keys are really Gate Keys.

"Alright. Let's see what's behind door #1!" Spidey quipped.

Spider-Man unveils his Gate Keys in his hand to join his friends in watching them resonate with the Boss Gate. All three keys fly out of his hand to insert themselves into their own keyhole, unlocking all of them simultaneously. Strange energies burst from the gate as its gears start turn to open it fully, revealing an ominous purple portal that might lead them to whatever is causing the black fog. "That did the trick!" Kid Yang fist-pumped at their success of opening the portal.

"This feels different from the other portals we've been hopping through." Sonic sensed a foreboding presence.

"You said it. My Spider-Sense is tingling. Something dangerous is waiting at the other side. Don't think it's that monster but we'll need to express caution." Spidey sternly warned his friends.

"Not much my style, but sure." Sonic quipped. "Spidey and I will check this out. Rest of you stay here in case we need backup." He ordered his teammates.

"Sure, go hog all the fun." Adult Blake snarked dryly.

"Will do!" smirked Sonic, racing Peter into the Boss Gate.

"That hedgehog will never stop being annoying. Pete isn't much better. In some ways, he's worse." Weiss sighed, shrugging with slight annoyance at their carefree attitudes.

"That's just who they are. Thought you've come to respect that by now." Blake smiled.

"Oh I have. That won't stop me from scolding them if they do something stupid." Weiss snarked, eliciting a snicker from X.

But then out of nowhere, Classic Sonic speeds by with blistering speeds that spins around the heiress until she gets dizzy. "Hiya! Seeya!" He quickly acknowledged her before jumping into the Boss Gate himself.

"SONIC! Would it kill you to say excuse me?!" Weiss shouted furiously at the long-gone quickster.

"But didn't Sonic already enter the portal?" Kid Ruby recalled.

"That's true. We all saw him." Tails remarked.

"But who else could run that amazingly fast that isn't named Shadow?" Weiss questioned with confusion.

"SONIC! GET BACK HERE!" Adding to their confusion that gets them just as surprised is Spider-Man 2099 gliding into the scene, "Un-shocking believable! That hedgehog just loves rushing into unknown territory! Spacetime is already a colossal mess!" The Future Spider then notices the Dimensional Avengers, confusing them for ordinary civilians whilst telling them, "I advise you folks to stay put. I need to investigate that portal before that kid does something stupid.", before web-swinging after his own hedgehog partner through the Boss Gate.

"Spider-Man…?" remarked Blake, with eyes widen and wondering who was that Web Warrior they just saw.

"That couldn't have been him! His costume was different and more much advanced than anything in his era!" X argued.

"Huh?!"

The surprises finally reach their climax once the Dimensional Avengers heard the shocked voice of a certain two-tailed fox that doesn't exactly belong to Tails. All of them turn around to lay eyes on Classic Tails alongside Kid Weiss and Kid Blake, the three of them that were too late to catch up with their Sonic and Spider-Man. The Tailses. The Weisses. And the Blakes. All six of them are stunned to the very maximum from staring at their own faces, left speechless after saying these three words together, "Who are you?!"

"This just got confusing." Kid Yang sweatdropped, scratching her confused head at this awkward meeting.

Inside Boss Gate.

Modern Sonic and Amazing Spider-Man. Classic Sonic and Spider-Man 2099. Both parties remaining unaware of each other while passing through a hallway separated by a glass wall. The Spideys keep walking, but the Sonics notice themselves through the mirror and stop to look at their supposed reflection. Both hedgehogs take this moment to fool around, going through several motions and poses that are mirrored exactly by the other.

"It's just a mirror. Let's go." Both impatient Spideys told their Sonics.

"Take a good look at yourselves, heroes!"

Suddenly however, the voice of a certain egg doctor startles all four heroes as it's being heard from the exit of the Boss Gate. "Dr. Eggman?!" Modern Sonic recognized in shock.

"What?!" Classic Sonic realized soon after.

"It's the last look you'll get before I close your eyes forever! Hoo hoo hoo!"

While Team Amazing is unfazed by the taunt, Miguel takes great offense at it retorting, "We'll see about that!", before Team 2099 heads for the exit while surprising their counterparts with their presence.

"What the-?!" Peter exclaimed at this sudden twist.

"Another Sonic and Spidey?! Wait a second!" Modern Sonic noted.

Team 2099 jumps through the glowing door first. Team Amazing tries to follow only to faceplant on the closing door, blocking them out as they fall to the ground. "They beat us to it!" Peter grunted, as the duo stand back up with no hope of following their doubles to wherever the door sent them to.

Stardust Speedway Zone, Little Planet.

The glowing door warped Classic Sonic and Spider-Man 2099 to Stardust Speedway, a corrupted polluted dystopian city underneath a large electrical storm. "Is this where that voice came from?" Spider-Man 2099 wondered while swinging through the area.

"This is Stardust Speedway, on Little Planet! But where's Eggman?" Classic Sonic recognized this Zone from a previous adventure whilst running down a road.

BGM-Sonic Generations OST-Rival Battle: Metal Sonic

On cue, Eggman's maniacal voice echoes throughout the Zone as if he's everywhere, taunting the heroes with, "Oh ho ho ho! Welcome, Sonic and friend! Allow me to introduce to you…My masterpiece, Metal Sonic!"

"Uh oh." Sonic expresses his shock when he spots the aforementioned robotic doppelganger about to make his destructive entrance from behind the duo. Metal Sonic flies into the scene using his Ring Spark Field to destroy the road his rival is running on with electrical discharges, causing him to fall to a potential demise.

Miguel tries coming to his rescue shouting, "I got you, Son-!", only for a web-swinging kick from his own robotic double to intercept his attempt.

"Hey Spidey, long time no see! I'm so happy we get to play again, like old times!" said by the android that resembles Spidey 2099 but colored red and somewhat childlike.

"Flipside?! Impossible! I destroyed you!" The shocked Miguel recognized his robotic rival.

"Then I un-destroyed myself. It wasn't nice what you did to me. I just wanted to be your bestest friend." Flipside claimed, hugging his rival in a death grip.

"I told you before, I'm not interested in cybernetic psychos! I'm sending you back to the junkyard in pieces!" threatened Spidey, pushing the psycho off of him.

"I get the message. You don't wanna be friends? Fine." Flipside snarked, before his face briefly morphs into something very Venom-like as his malicious tongue slithers out of his fanged mouth declaring, "I'll just kill ya!", before engaging in a web-swinging chase for Miguel across the city.

Meanwhile, Sonic is still falling alongside debris that he uses to get back up and bop Metal Sonic with a Spin Attack. The metallic menace recovers from the blow and attempts to hit his rival, but misses as the Sonics and Spiders begin their rival battle proper. "So our robot doubles decided to teamup against us. This'll be a piece of cake!" Sonic said cockily while fleeing from Metal.

"Says you! Flipside's a psychopath! A combination of the original Spider-Man and Venom in a flawed attempt to mimic me!" retorted Miguel, evading Flipside's relentless web bullets.

"Copycats are certainly a force to be reckoned with. Makes it all the sweeter when we prove to them who's boss!" Sonic smirked, ready to counter whatever Metal wants to throw at him.

It's a high-speed chase through Stardust Speedway, with Metal Sonic flying overhead his personal rival and Flipside swinging toward his own enemy. Metal snaps off streetlights that he throws at Sonic with tireless vengeance that keeps him distracted from unleashing a stronger attack. His V. Maximum Overdrive Attack, tackling the hedgehog with vicious might that flings him upward. As he falls, the Freedom Fighter revs up a powerful Spin Dash to get back at his double, unleashing it upon hitting the ground to hit Metal in the back of the head. Spidey continues to swing away from his psychotic rival until his webline was cut by said rival. He then glides, but Flipside makes that difficult too as he latches onto his caped back. Miguel got irritated enough to repeatedly slam the robot onto various buildings they glide past to loosen his grip on him so he could throw him away. Just as swiftly and ruthlessly as Flipside web-yanking the spider onto Sonic, so both could be targeted by Metal's powered-up Overdrive attack and narrowly trick him into striking afterimages instead.

"You two aren't bad. But everyone knows that robots are the best." Flipside mocked his enemies.

"At sucking, totally." Sonic quipped.

"Take that back if you don't want your throat to be slit!" Flipside threatened, with Metal expressing just as much anger.

"Try it!" Miguel taunted.

"Sure thing, buddy!" Flipside then launches a Web-Strike at his enemies' front while Metal unleashes another powered-up Overdrive Attack toward their back. Unfortunately for the metalheads, they just fell for the heroes' sly trap that'll cost them dearly.

"Now!" Miguel shouted.

Both heroes avoid the combo at the last second, tricking the robots into ramming into each other. "Ow! Watch where you're flying!" Flipside scolded his fellow injured robot. Spidey takes advantage of this by webbing the two together to make it far easier to knock them up with a furious clawed uppercut. They start to fall, falling into Sonic's jumping kick that causes Flipside to frown, "This will be pain.", before he and Metal are sent flying to their explosive doom.

"BOOYAH!" Sonic smirked, with the heroes glancing at the copycats exploding into hundreds of pieces that won't be bothering them for a while.

"That should shut 'em up." Miguel joked upon achieving victory. Still, he can sense those two were just the appetizer for the main course, so he shouts to the sky, "Enough games, Eggman! You can't hide behind your toys anymore! Show yourself!"

"If you're that eager to meet your demise, then I am happy to oblige!"

In response, Eggman somehow opens a portal behind the heroes that tries vacuuming them in. The two frantically try saving themselves, with Miguel holding onto a webline for his dear life and Sonic doing the same on his friend's leg. Alas it was all in vain, as Miguel yells, "OHHHH SHOCK!", while the heroes are consumed by the portal that'll transport them to a deadlier fight.

Meanwhile at White Space…

Modern Sonic and Amazing Spider-Man were locked out of the Boss Gate thanks to their counterparts. With nowhere else to go, they return to White Space to reunite with their friends. Only to be left stunned by what they find with them. "Didn't think this day could get any weirder." Amazing Spider-Man joked.

BGM-Dragon Ball: Xenoverse OST-Cutscene: "Tokitoki"

"Oh, hey guys! You're back so soon!" smiled Modern Tails, casually hanging out with his Classic self while Weiss and Blake have been doing the same with their younger counterparts.

"So that's what your Sonic and Spider-Man look like. Amazing." Classic Tails commented.

"My face must be still aching. I'm seeing two Tailses." Modern Sonic facepalmed in disbelief at what he's looking at.

"And two Blakes and two Ice Queens…" Spidey quipped.

"Ice Queen? Are you kidding me?! That's as insulting as Ice Princess! Doesn't he know who we are?!" Kid Weiss angrily retorted.

"He does and he doesn't care. Kept suggesting he rename himself the Amazing Rude-Man!" Adult Weiss sassed at the arachnid.

"I swear to god, I'm losing it. Can't someone, anyone, explain to me what the hell is going on?! This better not be a clone thing!" Spidey expressed his perplexed feelings to the group.

"No. My name is Blake Belladonna, and she's also Blake Belladonna. Just, older, somehow." Kid Blake responded, gesturing to her older self.

"We're still figuring this out." Adult Blake said, just as puzzled as her friends.

"What happened in there?" X asked the Spider-Hog duo.

"We found a door and a mirror that seemed cursed, cuz next thing we knew it created another me and Spidey that beat us to the door. It locked us out!" Sonic explained.

"So those were your counterparts we saw." X realized calmly.

"Counterparts? I give up! This world has officially confused me!" Sonic snarked with great confusion.

"Tails and I should be able to explain everything once your counterparts return." Modern Tails assured.

"You know you just referred to yourself twice." Peter called him out on.

"I know, this place is giving me a headache too." Modern Tails snarked tiredly.

Back with Miguel and Classic Sonic…

The portal brought them to a mechanical corridor that they fall into. It took a moment for them to stand back up on their feet, with a groaning Spidey 2099 wondering, "Great. Where did we end up now? Doesn't look like we're on that Little Planet anymore."

One look out the window and Classic Sonic figures out where they ended up, "Uh, Webs, question: How do you feel about space?"

"Why are you asking me that?" The suspicious Spidey asked.

"Cuz, we're in space." Sonic casually stated, as both heroes stare down at Mobius from within the giant egg-shaped space station.

"Oh shocking fantastic." Miguel said sarcastically and deadpannedly, "So he warped us to his space station."

"Yeah. This is the Death Egg. Didn't think I'd be back here so soon. Thought I blew this metal golf ball to kingdom come. Gonna make certain of it this time." Sonic declared before zipping through the corridor.

"Would you slow down for once?!" Miguel exclaimed, swinging to catch up and warn the hedgehog of this reckless move, "Think! The fact that he brought us here on purpose could only mean-!"

And right on cue to cut him off, both Miguel and his hedgehog friend are caught by futuristic-looking tentacles. "A trap!" The grunting Miguel finished what he was saying.

"When did Doctor Eggman become Doctor Octopus?" Sonic jokingly asked while struggling to free himself.

BGM-Kirby: Planet Robobot OST-Haltmann Works Co. Theme Song (Susie)

"He didn't." Someone new approaches the heroes caught by her tentacles. A beautiful woman in green-and-yellow armor powered by futuristic technology and no doubt a superiority complex. "That would be my title." She politely greeted her hostages.

"That technology…You're from 2099!" Miguel recognized.

"That is correct. My name is Serena Patel, Director of the Shadow Division at Alchemax." Doctor Octopus 2099 introduced herself.

"Never heard of it." Sonic casually quipped.

"Of course, I wouldn't expect an outworlder to know anything about Earth." Patel snarked.

"Touché."

"Should've known Alchemax was behind all this!" Miguel snarled.

"That is where you are wrong, Spider-Man. Like you, I too have been removed from our home dimension by an unknown energy source and have been researching the dimensional distortions in order to perfect a method that'll restore our reality. In addition of modifications that will change the world for the better." Patel proclaimed her devious plans.

"Sure it will." Miguel snarked.

"Luckily, I have secured a partnership with a fellow scientist that has been a great help in my research. Introduce yourself." Patel grinned, sinisterly signaling for her partner to show up.

BGM-Sonic Generations OST-Boss Battle: Death Egg Robot

An elevator is heard rising something to Patel's smiling position. It's gigantic. It has claws. It looks like a goofy robot resembling a certain Eggman. "Why hello there. I see you have become acquainted with my lovely lab partner." Doctor Eggman himself greeted his enemies from within his giant battle mech, the Death Egg Robot.

"Eggman!" Sonic scowled at his eternal arch-nemesis.

"It's ROBOTNIK!" Eggman angrily corrected him, prompting Patel to brutally hurl the heroes onto the wall. "You WILL respect that name, as soon as our combined genius conquers both of our dimensions!" He then laughs maniacally while both Doctors flex their sinisterness at the heroes that dash into action.

First to brawl on the rising elevator is Spider-Man and Doctor Octopus. The greatest geniuses of 2099 clashing to prove who is superior. Patel thrusts her multiple tentacles at Miguel bouncing off of them. Just as he leaps to throw a punch, he is blasted in the back by the tentacles' lasers before one of them grabs him by the neck. "I have anticipated this battle with you for some time, hence this assault suit. Patterned it after the one worn by my idol, Doctor Otto Octavius. Who better to destroy a Spider than an Octopus." Patel boasts while relentlessly and brutally smashing her captive around the arena, from the walls to the floor, "Historical records DID state he destroyed the original Spider-Man in their climactic final battle."

"MAY have possibly destroyed him!" snarked Miguel, using his talons to cut himself free from the tentacle. "What IS true was Ock always losing to Spider-Man. Let's repeat history." He then webs all the tentacles together so he may throw Patel at the Death Egg Robot with great power.

"Watch where you throw her!" Eggman complained, extending his arm to punch away the spider.

The Death Egg Robot was created to be a powerhouse and one of the Doctor's greatest weapons against Sonic. Its rocket punches may not be able to touch his speed, but it has a chassis that is highly resilient to the hedgehog's Spin Attacks. "Bout as annoyin' to fight as the first time…" Sonic muttered in frustration as his attacks are having no effect.

"No Rings here to save your spiny butt! I will flatten you!" Eggman leaps, nearly squashing the hedgehog like the bug his spider-partner is.

"Great idea, Ro-butt-nik!" Sonic quipped, launching a powerful Spin Dash at the unarmored butt that topples the massive mech onto its stomach.

"Get up, simpleton! We are approaching the observation deck!" Patel ordered, insulting her partner while tentacle-smacking Sonic onto Spidey.

"Don't insult me, fool! This mech was built to be a walking tank, not a gymnast!" Eggman snapped.

"Just started dating and your relationship has already gotten toxic. You need better soulmates. Maybe don't lie on your online profiles next time." Sonic mocked the Doctor Duo.

"Joke all you want, rodent! There is no one in ANY world that can possibly rival our genius, let alone overcome it!" Patel retorted arrogantly.

The transcendent tag-team battle is soon taken up to the observation deck, where the combatants have a breathtaking view of Mobius as they read themselves to end this quarrel. The Death Egg Robot flies to the center of the arena surrounded by platforms that Doc Ock traverses across to tangle with the two heroes. Her vicious tentacles are countered by Spidey's webbing, trapping them so Sonic could strike her. But then both heroes are punched down by Eggman, who then proclaims, "Activate Dimensional Bomb!", and summons a spiky black time bomb next to the downed heroes.

"A timed bomb?" A worried Miguel noted.

"One of our first collaborative inventions." said Patel, using her tentacles to brutally pin both heroes down so they won't escape the bomb. "Even neanderthals such as you two should realize that this will hurt, a lot." She grinningly mocked them.

"Your time is running out!" Eggman laughed at the heroes.

Several seconds before detonation and the two heroes seem powerless to save themselves. Spider-Man thinks fast and remembers his boot jets, activating them to fly off while dragging along Sonic and a surprised Doc Ock with him. "HEY! YOU CRETIN, GET ME DOWN!" Patel pleaded.

"If you insist." Miguel loosened her grip on them just enough so he could throw and web her onto the face of the Death Egg Robot, blinding her fellow doctor.

"HEY, GET OFF! I CAN'T SEE!" Eggman panics as he struggles to unblind himself, accidently punching the Dimensional Bomb that explodes and paralyzes the massive mech.

"Let's make us an octopus omelet!" Sonic smirked as he runs up the mechanical arm.

"Sounds good!" Spidey quipped while swinging by his side.

Working together, the heroes attack the robot's head with one devastating stomp that overloads its systems. There is nothing neither villain can do to save themselves from this defeat as the worried Patel is still stuck on the Death Egg Robot that is exploding around her while collapsing to the ground. Both heroes then land in front of the fallen robot that explodes incredibly, reducing it to burnt pieces while the heroes remain alive and victorious.

"We did it! Woohoo! Go us!" Sonic cheered, celebrating their victory by spin dashing around Spider-Man.

"As I expected, they weren't anything special." Spidey mocked their defeated enemies.

Celebrations end once a strange green light in the sky catches the heroes' attention. "What is that?" Miguel wondered. The light summons a brilliant-cut gem that is just as colorless as White Space. It descends from the air to appear before the heroes that earned the privilege to watch it absorb the green light that was surrounding it, restoring it to a mystifying green emerald that is looking awfully familiar to Sonic.

"A Chaos Emerald!" Sonic recognized it in shock.

"Chaos Emerald?" The curious Miguel questioned him.

"One of seven super powerful relics from my world. Looks like it was dragged into this weirdworld too. Cleaning up the mess here restored its power somehow." Sonic proclaimed.

"Interesting." Miguel commented, watching the hedgehog take hold of their first Chaos Emerald.

"Arrrrgh!"

Just then, the heroes heard some terrible coughing coming from below the wreckage of the Death Egg Robot. It's from Doctors Patel and Eggman, though the latter remains out of view. "What should we do with 'em?" Sonic asked his partner.

"There're involved in this mess somehow. Let's take them back with us for interrogation." Miguel said.

"Alright, fine." Sonic shrugged before running over to capture the weakened villains.

BGM-Sonic Generations OST-Cutscene 1

Suddenly, the hedgehog is blown back by a familiar dark force. It is the Time Eater, and it has captured with the doctors with its mysterious energy. "It's that creature again! And it's kidnapping the doctors!" Miguel shouted.

"Is that a…Time Hole? It's pulling us in!" The frightened Patel exclaimed.

"What?! No! No! Sonic! Spider-Guy! Save us!" Eggman begged for them but it was too late, as both Doctors and the Time Eater vanished through the portal.

Sonic jumps to his feet with his hands on his hips, saying, "Well…That just happened.", in a terrible attempt to lighten this grim mood.

White Space.

"So the Docs WEREN'T behind all this. Thought for sure that was their monster wreaking havoc." said Classic Sonic, conversing with Spidey 2099 as they walk out of the Boss Gate.

"They were certainly planning on taking advantage of the situation. That creature was 100% alien to either of our worlds. But why kidnap the doctors? What is it planning?" Spider-Man 2099 brooded.

His brooding will have to be put on hold as something both shocking and unbelievable stops them in their tracks, starting with Sonic, "Uh, Spidey. What the heck am I looking at?"

"Oh my shock…" Miguel muttered.

Before their very eyes, Sonic and Spidey find themselves sharing a stare with Sonic and Spidey. Specifically, the Sonic from the Modern Era and the Spider-Man from the Heroic Age. Both of them, hanging out with members of the Dimensional Avengers and Miguel's group. "It's you guys! So you weren't illusions after all!" Modern Sonic gasped at their counterparts.

"W-Who are you? And why do you look like me? You look too real to be a Metal Sonic." Classic Sonic remarks at his older counterpart.

"Cannot believe this…Peter Parker, is that really you?!" Miguel asked his predecessor.

"Uh…I can neither confirm nor deny that." Peter quipped.

"You don't remember me?" Miguel takes off his mask to reveal his handsome face with abnormal red eyes and fangs. "I'm Miguel O'Hara. The Spider-Man from the Year 2099. We met during the Incursions." He reminded him of their first, yet very brief meeting when the multiverse was in danger.

"Oh right! I knew you looked familiar!" Peter then takes off his mask to reveal his own handsome face. "You're the Spider that protects the future. You're my…My…successor." He recalled with subtle disbelief of having his living legacy standing right before him.

"Here I thought you two were the same person." Classic Sonic quipped.

"We share the mantle, not our real names. You Sonics, however, are definitely the same person. Same with the Tailses, Weisses and Blakes." Miguel gestured to the other doubles in the group.

"Never thought I'd be meeting myself." Modern Sonic commented, still in disbelief at meeting himself.

"I think I've figured it out." Classic Tails then claimed.

"Yeah, me too." Modern Tails also proclaimed.

"Doubles of us…" Classic Tails said.

"Places and enemies from our past and future…" Modern Tails continued after him.

"We're traveling through time!" Both Tailses proclaimed with complete confidence, much to the shock of all their friends present.

"We're time travelers? Thought that stuff only happens in fairy tale!" Kid Blake commented.

"Had my suspicions this was the case when I met Gwen. This dimension is like a makeshift time machine linked to many eras and timelines from all of our worlds." Peter clarified.

"So that means…you four are the younger versions of us. Long before we formed Team RWBY." Adult Weiss said to Kid RWBY.

"Team RWBY? I'm going to be in a team with these children?" Kid Weiss remarked with disbelieving shock, gesturing at her future teammates.

"You're a kid too, ya know." The annoyed Kid Yang snarked.

"Am I at least going to be the team leader?" Kid Weiss asked her future self.

Adult Weiss frowns, "Uh…That would be her.", while pointing her embarrassed thumb at Kid Ruby.

"Me?" Kid Ruby innocently points at herself.

"YOU HAVE TO BE KIDDING ME!" Kid Weiss retorted with loud and furious denial.

"How did this happen?" Adult Blake wondered.

"I think it's got something to do with that big 'Time Eater' thing that just kidnapped Eggman and Serena Patel." Miguel answered her.

"Who?" Peter questioned about the latter scientist.

"The Doctor Octopus from my era."

"Seriously? Guess some things never change."

"It sounds like the same thing that kidnapped this city and your friends. I mean, our friends. You know what I mean." Classic Tails said, confusing himself with these time shenanigans.

BGM-Sonic Generations OST-Cutscene 1

Suddenly the city shakes with an ominous intensity that prompts the Spider-Men to put back on their masks. The Time Eater appears in White Space, causing X to shout, "There it is!", as they all watch its movements. The mysterious alien flies over the city, terrorizing its citizens for just a moment before disappearing into another Time Hole so it may continue its rampage in another timeline.

"Where'd it go?" Kid Ruby wondered.

"We need to find that thing, and fast!" Modern Sonic declared determinedly to the group.

"I'm good at that." Classic Sonic agreed with his counterpart.

"The team-up of the century! Try to keep up, newbie!" Amazing Spider-Man teased his future counterpart.

"Shouldn't be too hard, old man!" snarked Spider-Man 2099, as the heroes of past, present, and future finally decided to team up to stop the Time Eater's rampage and save their remaining friends.

superjoeyf721: I replace Axl with X simply because X is a better representative of the Capcom Universe. The Dimensional Avengers is an all-star cast comprised of iconic characters. In hindsight, Axl just did not fit in.
