"Kids, say hello to your future friends. Or past friends, in Miguel's case. I dunno. Don't think you've ever met these guys." joked Amazing Spider-Man, as friends from across time and space meet up in a conference room in the restored Oscorp Building.
"Not really." Spider-Man 2099 snarked at his predecessor's quip.
The first few to converse are between the two Classic Freedom Fighters with Modern Knuckles and Amy. All four of them are naturally shocked by each other because of this time mess they were caught in, but it doesn't stop Classic Sonic from commenting about it, "Amy, Knuckles, you two look…different."
"No duh. We're from the future. Of course we look older. Can't believe I forgotten how chubby you were." Knuckles teased his rival from a younger timeline.
"That ain't cool, Knucklehead!" Classic Sonic scowled.
"Stop teasing him, Knuckles! Sonic was as dreamy back then as he is now!" Amy slaps the echidna to the ground, forcing him to shut up while Little Sonic sweatdrops in fear from how much stronger his top stalker gets when she's older.
"You two haven't changed." Classic Tails smiled at their funny interactions.
Nearby is Kid Team RWBY, with Kid Blake being the first of her group to introduce herself to Jaune and Xiaoyu, "Hello, what's your name?"
"Jaune Arc, leader of Team JNPR. I'm your classmate at Beacon. Or, will be. This time travel stuff is confusing." Jaune smiled, greeting the kids.
"You, a Beacon student? I find that hard to believe. Sure you didn't cheat your way into the school?" Kid Weiss questioned suspiciously.
"Um…kinda." Jaune admitted sheepishly, recalling himself using fake transcripts to enter Beacon.
"Are you a Beacon student too?" Kid Yang asked Xiao.
"I wish. I go to Mishima Polytechnical School in my world. Name's Ling Xiaoyu." Xiaoyu greeted.
"Hey, my last name has Xiao! Nice to meet you, Ling!" Yang smiled, high fiving her fellow Xiao.
"Uh, I actually go by 'Xiaoyu'. The Chinese language really doesn't exist in Remnant." Xiao corrected the little girl that will most likely make the same mistake again.
Meanwhile, Miguel shares a proper greeting with the likes of Mary Jane, Harry, and Tiki. "Mary Jane Watson. Peter's ex-girlfriend." MJ introduced herself while shaking Miguel's hand.
"Miguel O'Hara. Friend of the family. And if you tell me that with great power comes great responsibility, I'll pop you one." The unmasked Miguel snarked.
"Can't believe there's a Spider-Man in the future. Is the Osborn family still alive in 2099?" Harry asked the time traveler.
"Not sure. I know Oscorp still exist and I deal with the occasional Goblin." Miguel answered.
"Amazing. Though you do not share blood, your heart still carries the legacy of Spider-Man. You are to Peter as Chrom is to Marth." Tiki said wisely.
"I have no idea who those two are, but sure. Thanks for the compliment." Miguel snarked at the unfamiliar manakete.

"Now with the introductions outta the way, let's return to how are we gonna save all of time from a time-eating monster." Modern Sonic joked, getting everyone ready to focus on the mission briefing.
BGM-Sonic Adventure 2 OST-Strategy
All eyes are glued to a hologram resembling the mysterious Time Eater. The Sonics and Spideys stand beside it, with Miguel in charge to start the briefing. "The Time Eater. An alien of unknown origin with powers that rival Galactus himself. It's disrupting the timeline in an attempt to erase the Heroic Age from history. How and why are unclear. Regardless, our mission is to take back the lost history and destroy that monster!"
"Gonna be difficult with so few of us." Adult Weiss commented.
"That's why us Spideys and Sonics are gonna continue exploring every Zone in this world until our friends and the city are restored to normal. Thanks to O'Hara and Little Sonic, some of that weird fog disappeared so we can explore more districts and beat up the Time Breakers that have the Gate Keys." The unmasked Peter proclaimed.
"Time Breakers?" The confused Tiki remarked.
"That's what we're calling the villains that the Time Eater recruited." Peter clarified.
"Appropriate." X commented.
"The Tailses will help Osborn study this place. Figure out exactly how the Time Eater is doing all of this." Miguel tasked them.
"You can count on us!" Modern Tails nodded determinedly.
"What about the rest of us?" Jaune asked.
"Protect the city. Criminals are coming out of the woodwork because of the mess we're in. Can't risk them causing trouble in other timelines." Peter ordered.
"Right!" Jaune firmly agreed to the plan.
"Wish Older Me is here to help us." Kid Ruby frowned sadly.
"We'll find her and the other Yang soon, I promise. Just keep the peace in her stead." Modern Sonic assured the little girl.
"I'll do my best!" Kid Ruby promised resolutely, making the hedgehog proud.
"Just be careful. There's still that Hound thing hunting us down." Miguel warned everyone.
"It's still alive? Thought we killed that Grimm dog back at Green Hill." The curious Peter responded.
"Nope. It was the weirdest dog I ever fought. Could walk on two legs and grow wings to fly. It could even talk." Classic Sonic remarked.
"That's unheard of, even in my time. Must be one of Salem's experiments that was pulled from somewhen in the timestream." Adult Blake pondered.
"Who is Salem?" Kid Blake asked her older self, naturally oblivious to the evil forces that lurk through the shadows of Remnant.
"That's a story for another time." Adult Blake replied.
"Alright! Let's do it to it, people! We'll show that Time Eater that it chose the wrong worlds to mess with!" Classic Sonic proclaimed, rallying friends old and new to start fighting back against this temporal threat.

BGM-Sonic Generations OST-Hub: Speed Highway
The Sonics and masked Spider-Men race to a new district that opened up after they achieved victory within the Boss Gate. The Upper East Side. With the standard crowd of people statues and a gateway resembling Station Square from Mobius. "Here we are! The Upper East!" Amazing Spider-Man announced upon arrival.
"Who are those four next to the portal?" Classic Sonic points out four peculiar people stuck as statues: A Mobian rabbit with a Chao, a Human Torch, a delicate Princess that dresses medieval, and a Huntress that lost her scarletness.
"That looks to be Cream. The others are Lissa, Johnny, and the older Ruby." Modern Sonic recognized more friends that need rescuing.
"Looks like Little Red Ruby will be meeting her future self sooner than we thought." Peter joked.
"Who is this little guy?" Classic notices the Chao.
"That's Cheese, Cream's Chao friend." Modern clarified.
"So that's a Chao. Only heard about them. Cool. And you're saying the rabbit's called Cream?" Classic questioned, interested in learning more about his future friends.
"Yup. Saved her mom during one of Eggman's shenanigans. She's like a little sister to us." Modern answered.
"Huh. That's nice." Classic smiled.
"Enough wasting time. Into the portal." Miguel ordered, acting as the most serious member of this little team.
"Wow, you're impatient." Peter teased his successor, "You heard the man. Let's go, Team SSSS!"
"Why did you hiss?" Miguel asked both genuinely and confusedly.
"What? Thought I'd give us a team name. Team SSSS. It's a Remnant thing." Peter explained.
"That's dumb. We're not reptiles." Miguel snarked.
"Not my fault all our names start with S!" Peter sasses back, as the newly-formed Team SSSS enters the Speed Highway Gateway.

Speed Highway Zone.
BGM-Sonic Generations OST-Speed Highway: Act 2 "Run Through the Speed Highway"
Team SSSS emerges from the Time Hole and lands on one of the many highways in this Zone. Speed Highway Zone. An elevated area of tall skyscrapers in Station Square that are connected by an intertwining network of roads, at night. "What timespace did we end up now?" Spider-Man 2099 looks at Classic Sonic for an answer on their current whereabouts.
"Why're you lookin' at me?" The annoyed Classic Sonic responded.
"Cause I've noticed how all these areas are connected to your history." Miguel snarked.
"Not sure 'bout this place. Never visited this Zone in my life." Classic shrugged.
"This looks like Station Square. I remember ending up here when I first crossovered with Sonic's World." Amazing Spider-Man recalled their first cross-dimensional adventure.
"So you've been here before?" Classic asked his older self.
"Think so. This Zone is called…Speed Highway. What was I doing here again…?" Modern Sonic wondered, once more struggling to remember his past adventures.
"You don't remember?" Classic questioned his terrible memory.
"Wait…it's coming back to me. I was trying to save Amy from one of Eggman's robots. This was during the time he unleashed Chaos onto the world." Modern finally recalled that chaotic adventure.
"Not surprising. It's his MO." Classic quipped.
"No, I mean he literally unleashed Chaos. An ancient water god that protects Chao and has a bad temper." Modern clarified, reminiscing his fights with the destroyer god.
"You fought a water god? I'M going to fight a water god?! That sounds terrifying!" Classic exclaimed in shock and horror.
"Oh it sure was. We won't be busting Badniks forever." Modern grinned while running ahead, prompting the others to follow him through this nightly Zone.
A high-speed stage running through Station Square at night, lined with skyscrapers. That is what it looks like to the Sonics freely running at supersonic speeds from building to building. Classic runs on highways that has cars he avoids and Spinner Badniks to bounce off of, before taking off on a rocket that passes by his Modern self hanging onto a helicopter. Modern lets go of the helicopter as quickly as him skydiving through the air and running along the walls of buildings. He then grinds on a rail while Classic runs beside him, enticing Modern to race him on foot at incredible speeds they share.
"So how did you get your powers anyway? Were you bitten by a radioactive spider too?" Peter asked his successor, while both Spideys swing through the cool air.
"No. My powers are more genetic-based. You see, I work as a geneticist for a company called Alchemax, the most powerful and most corrupt corporation that rules 2099. I was tasked to create a device that would restructure a person's DNA with that of a spider's, inspired by tales of the Heroic Age. Mainly you." Miguel began explaining his backstory to his predecessor.
"Alchemax wanted their own Spider-Man. Well, I am pretty profitable." Peter quipped.
Miguel continues, "That dream ended when our test subject died. Wanted to quit right away but my boss drugged me. Made me addictive to a drug that only Alchemax produced as their shockin' way to keep me on their leash."
"That's horrible!" Peter retorted, shocked from hearing how cruel Alchemax is.
"Finding out my boss is really my dad was worse." Miguel snarked. "I refused to be his puppet, so I used the genetic splicing device to remove the addiction from my system. But little did I know a jealous coworker tampered with the machine and set it to repeat the spider-DNA splicing program. Miraculously I didn't die. Just 50% of me, replaced with Spider DNA. So nowadays, I can do whatever a Spider-Man can. What you can." He stated, finished with his backstory.
"About as dramatic as my backstory. I'm sure you've been putting those powers to good use." Peter commented.
"Oh I have! Alchemax's days will soon be numbered!" Miguel declared resolutely.
The Spiders catch sight of Badniks breaking into a hotel skyscraper to no doubt cause chaos. Miguel is the first to take action by jumping into a spectacular glide that crashes through a window, clawing down every robot that are making a mess and knocking them back with a fast-spinning whirlwind attack. Compared to Miguel, Peter is more cheery while giving Badniks headaches. Attacks are dodged with laughable ease and Spinners are being used as steps for him to bounce off of all the way to a Thunder Spinner that shields itself with electricity, swiftly prompting Peter to do a Web Strike Evade before web-throwing the Badnik onto a wall right after it drops its guard.
"I'm seeing coppers!" noticed Classic Sonic, with the whole team reconvening convene in time to confront a squadron Cop Speeder Badniks.
"Leave them to me!" Miguel charges up his strength to unleash a lightspeed dash that strikes all robots in a quick succession, much to the amazement of the older Sonic and Peter.
"You can do a Light Speed Attack? I didn't think spiders could go that fast!" Modern Sonic commented.
"You may be faster than me, but are you more webby?" Peter quipped, swinging a giant hammer made out of webbing that demolishes reinforcements.
"You're more creative, I'll give you that." Miguel complimented and acknowledging their different fighting styles, with Peter being an expert on a web-based techniques and Miguel excelling in light-speed attacks.
The two Sonics are about as fast as each other, but what definitely sets them apart are techniques. Case in point is Classic confronting some Spinners only for Modern to chime in saying, "Leave this to me!", and attacking them with Homing Attacks that his little self hasn't learned yet.
"Woah!" Classic remarks in shock and awe.
"Not done yet!" Sonic laughs, after defeating several more Spinners with several more stylish Homing Attacks.
"What was THAT?! Never seen anything like it in my life!" Classic asked his older self.
"That move's called a Homing Attack! Want to give it a try?" Modern said.
"You bet!" Impressed, Classic picks up the move immediately as he's now performing Homing Attacks on par with his future self.
"Hey, not bad at all!" Modern commented, proudly smiling at his younger self busting up Badniks with that generational technique, "It's hard to believe that's your first time trying it! Now that you can do that, there's no telling what awesome stunts it'll lead you to."
"Way past cool! Let's keep up the momentum!" Classic smiled while running off to show off his new Homing Attack some more, acting like a child that received their allowance.
"Whoa! What? Oh boy…" Modern shrugged tiredly, surprised from how hyperactive his counterpart is.
"Welcome to my world." Miguel snarked. "Let's catch up before he undoubtedly gets into trouble." He commanded, leading his other two companions in catching up with Classic as they all continue adventuring through Speed Highway.

Meanwhile…at Emerald Coast Zone…
BGM-Sonic Generations (3DS) OST-"Azure Blue World / Emerald Coast: Act 1"
"Nothing beats relaxing at the beach after a good day of robbing." sighed a New York Crime Boss, relaxing on a recliner at this time-displaced beach resort with the rest of his criminal gang that escaped the police, "Ain't I right, boys?"
"Oh yeah, boss! Totally!" A thug smiled, playing volleyball with his fellow crooks.
"Never been to a beach like here before. Feels so out of this world." Another thug said, swimming in the nearby ocean.
"Where are the refreshments?" asked by a criminal relaxing in sand and money.
"Coming! Lemme rob this hotel real quick!" A Thug volunteered.
Before that thug knew it however, he was frozen in ice by an otherworldly hero. "Wha-?!" The Crime Boss exclaimed in surprise, wondering who is dumb enough to ruin his fun under the sun.
"Sorry, boys!" Adult Weiss makes her cold appearance against the crooks that thought they could escape her patrol of White Space, "This beach is off-limits to thugs! I'm going to have to relocate your vacation to a prison cell!"
Her taunt goads the crooks to retaliate in vain as Amy and X come to her swift aid. Amy pounds thugs into the sand with her hammer and X goes easy on the humans by subduing them with martial arts. Their assist allows Weiss to cool off all but the Crime Boss with ice blasts, as his face is then hit with sand thrown by Kid Weiss. "Why you little-?!" The enraged Boss would've claimed vengeance if it wasn't for the older Weiss knocking him down with a flying kick across his dumb face.
"Nice!" Adult Weiss shares a smiling thumbs-up with her counterpart, complimenting her assistance.
"Is that everyone?" Amy asked, looking around for any more criminals that sought refuge in this Zone.
"Looks like. Can't believe this many criminals escaped to this timespace." X commented.
"Can't say I blame them. Emerald Coast is the hottest vacation spot on Mobius. Let's relax here after we save the world." Amy smiled.
"We'll see. Let's give these crooks to the police first." Weiss shares a smile with her hedgehog friend.
Criminals were either frozen or tied up as X and Amy escort them to the proper authorities back at Manhattan. The Weisses watch them work, using this relaxing moment to talk. "You were awesome, Big Weiss! Can't believe I'll grow up into someone so strong and beautiful!" Kid Weiss smiled adorably at her older self.
"Thank you. But I didn't come this far on my own. My friends and sister pushed me into becoming the woman I am today." Adult Weiss responded.
"Friends? Like that Ruby kid?" Kid Weiss questioned.
"My partner. And best friend, but don't let her know that." Adult Weiss stated.
"I find that hard to believe. That girl is two years younger, yet she becomes team leader and not me? We're heiresses to the biggest company in Remnant! It's not fair!" Kid Weiss complained.
"Can't believe I was this immature…" Adult Weiss facepalmed in embarrassment, reminiscing her own behavior from before she met Ruby and others. "Not everything will be handed to us on a silver platter. Complaining about it won't get you anywhere. The best we can do is become the best person we can be for the sake of our friends." She lectured her younger self.
"Even that Cat Faunus?" Kid Weiss argued about Blake, still expressing discrimination against her kind.
"Not all Faunus are bad. I know our childhood was poor, but don't let the past blind you to the good in them. You'll learn to love Blake, trust me." Adult Weiss grinned softly.

"Listen to her, Weiss."
Suddenly a male voice caught both Schnees off-guard. It sounded strange yet so familiar that they couldn't stop themselves from turning to the source. Who they find is quite the surprise, moreso to Adult Weiss as her eyes widen to what she thought was a ghost initially. The man standing before them has a white beard and wears a heavy ornate suit of armor that is complete with a red fur-trimmed cloak. "Y-You are…" Adult Weiss is at a loss for words at the man that she recognizes from the bottom of her heart. For he is the only other relative besides Winter that she loves dearly.
BGM-Sonic X OST-The White Flower on Top of the Hill
"Grandfather!" Kid Weiss exclaimed with the utmost joyous smile as she rushes to embrace her grandfather with a hug.
"Hello there, Weiss." Grandfather Schnee smiled, before giving that same smile to her older self, "And, Weiss. So what I heard about time unraveling is true. What a rare occasion this is."
"Grandpa Nicholas. But you are…H-How are you…" Adult Weiss remarked, left stunned by the grandfather she thought died a long time ago.
"Same as you, I presume. Caught by a light that brought me to this world and have been trying to find a way back home since. I see the future has been treating you well." Nicholas said, already aware of this time mess as he rests a comforting hand on his granddaughter's shoulder.
Unable to contain her emotions any longer, Adult Weiss burst into tears whilst hugging her time-displaced relative, "Grandfather! I've missed you so so much!"
"Calm yourself, my dearest little friend. I am here now." Nicholas comforted her softly.

"We're back! Any more bad guys for us to throw in jail?" Amy announced her return to this Zone along with X. Upon arrival, they find the Weisses with a Schnee they never seen before, "Weiss, are you okay? Who is this man?"
"My friends, from the bottom of my heart, I am honored to introduce you to my grandfather, Nicholas Schnee. Grandfather, these are two of my friends: Amy Rose and X." Adult Weiss introduced both parties after drying her tears.
"The founder of the Schnee Dust Company? But you told us he passed away." X expressed his shock from this spacetime meeting.
"No doubt he was caught from a time before that happened." Amy deduced.
"You're going to die, Grandfather?!" Kid Weiss remarked in surprise at her grandpa's fate.
"Sorry. I shouldn't have said that aloud. I was just surprised." The frowning X apologized.
"It's alright, X. We all meet our end sooner or later. How we spend that time is what matters. A pleasure to meet you all." Nicholas greeted his new otherworldly friends.
"Is our mission done here?" Adult Weiss asked them.
"Not yet. My head parts are detecting animals imprisoned in capsules nearby. We should save them." X responded.
"Okay!" Adult Weiss nodded.
"I will assist you. Not all the time I help my granddaughter from the future." Nicholas smiled at her.
"Sure thing, Grandfather! Just wait and see how much I've grown!" retorted Adult Weiss, eager to hang out with her grandfather one more time.
Back at Speed Highway Zone…
BGM-Sonic Generations OST-Speed Highway: Act 2 - Skyscraper Downhill "Goin' Down?! - Cash Cash vs. Jun Senoue RMX"
"Can't believe you pissed off this many cops!" Amazing Spider-Man joked, with the Spider-Men skydiving alongside the Sonics running down a giant building while they all flee from a massive Cop Speeder horde eager to end them.
"Was just practicing my new Homing Attack." Classic Sonic quipped.
"Just had to practice on THEM?!" Spider-Man 2099 reprimanded.
"Not like they're real coppers anyway. Just keep running. Or skydiving in your case." Modern Sonic snarked.
Many obstacles try their hand in stopping the heroes' escape. The Badniks obviously, which is partially taken care of thanks to Peter's web nets blocking them. The other roadblocks are pillars that they avoid by moving to the sides. "Get ready to land!" Modern shouted, seeing that they are nearing the end of this run. The four heroes land spectacularly on the ground side by side and all at the same time. The Cop Speeders that were chasing them weren't so amazing as they crash into their explosive destruction, making the heroes' landing pose look all the more badass.

"Whew, that was thrilling. How close are we to the Time Breaker?" Peter asked.
"Don't know. Lyla, can you help us out?" Miguel requested help from his AI.
"Who's Lyla?" The confused Modern questioned.
"He means me." Lyla suddenly startles Peter and the hedgehogs with her smiling holographic appearance.
"Marilyn Monroe?" Peter recognized her holographic design.
"No she's Lyla. Stands for 'LYrate Lifeform Approximation'. An artificial intelligence from my era that works as my personal assistant." Miguel briefed his friends on his AI companion.
"That's cool. If I had my own AI, I'd call her Karen." Peter remarked.
"Lyla, scan this timespace for any abnormalities. Any supervillain displaced from the timeline." Miguel ordered her.
Swiftly, Lyla does what she was told and performs a full dimensional scan of this Zone for a Time Breaker. "Didn't take me long. I'm picking up a familiar energy signature several blocks ahead from this location, and it's spiking." Lyla informed them of her findings.
"Familiar? And it's spiking? That's not good." Miguel realized they need to hurry before this mission becomes disastrous.
BGM-Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions OST-System Shock
In the lower levels of Speed Highway is a strange silver android that is powering up his electric powers. His electrical blue aura helps him hover above Station Square's streets, but that is the absolute least he can do. "HRRAAAAAAAAGH!" A mighty roar pushes him to wreak havoc on the city with lightning bolts that devastate buildings and scare civilians to find shelter, all before he drains every source of light in the city to fuel his already vast power. Station Square has gone dark, with the only light left being the massive energy field shielding him from the heroes that are on their way to stop him.
"Electro." Miguel snarled.
"Electro? He's still alive in 2099?" Peter expressed shock.
"Wrong. This Electro is different. He's an android that once worked at construction before betraying his bosses. They turned him over to torture experimenters that accidently burned out his obedience chips, leading to a generator accident that gave him his powers." Miguel briefed his allies on this Electro's backstory.
"The only big difference between these two sparkplugs is that this one's a robot." Peter quipped.
"He drained the whole city of power. How are we gonna stop him?" Modern frowned.
"He's drawing power for his energy field from four generators planted on the rooftops. Destroy them to disable it." Lyla tasked the team.
"Split up!" Peter ordered them to make this mission easier to handle.
Classic Sonic is the first to locate an electric generator planted atop a skyscraper. His new Homing Attack is put to good use as he bounces off Spinner Badniks to climb the building all the way to the rooftop, where he destroys the generator with a good Spin Attack. "One down!" He shouted at his teammates.
"That won't help you. I've got more than enough power to burn you to ash!" Electro 2099 claimed with a threatening voice that echoes throughout the city. He then uses his powers to rip a helicopter and several Cop Speeders from the air stating, "I don't have time to waste on you insects.", before hurling his new weapons at the heroes that are trying to ruin his fun.
"How is a nutjob from the future still mistaking me for an insect? I'm an arachnid! I've complained about this enough times to be published on history books!" Peter quipped, dodging the helicopter blades before web-striking the Speeders that leads him into destroying the second generator.
Electro angrily growls, "Now you're making me mad. This is your last chance! Leave now!"
"Can't do that, Lightning Butt! This is my city you're trashing!" Modern retorted, boosting up a skyscraper while avoiding Speeders failing to crash into him and stop him from blowing up the third generator.
"GRAAAH! You should've run away while you could! Now you'll die!" Electro growled with more fury than before.
"Not today! We'll be the ones shutting you off!" snarked Miguel, gliding past Speeders and coolly swerving through helicopter blades in order to reach and obliterate the last generator with a clawing barrage.
All four electric generators have been destroyed. In turn, the massive energy field that was protecting Electro disappeared in a flash. "NOO! You took out my lights! Jam you, squishes! I'll crush you into the dark for this!" He furiously threatened the heroes.
"Shields are down. Here we come, Electro!" Modern proclaimed his team's eagerness to defeat the lightning android as they rush at him.

At Emerald Coast Zone…
Weiss's Group is nearly done rescuing the animals. Their mission took them across several tropical islands where the animals are imprisoned in Capsules. The only way to save them is by pressing the switch on top of them. Easy enough for even Kid Weiss to accomplish on her own, freeing the animals that embrace her as thanks. "Hey, that tickles! You're welcome!" Kid Weiss chuckles adorably while playing with the animals for a bit.
"What a peaceful place this is. And you say you have visited other marvelous worlds?" Nicholas said, conversing with his granddaughter from the future while both watch Kid Weiss help X and Amy save more animals.
"Yeah. Each one unique and filled with so many wonderful people. I would love to introduce you to them…" Adult Weiss sadly frowns, "But I know our time together is short. I'm no time travel expert, but I assume we will return to our home eras with no memory of any of this."
"Let's make the best of this day. Introduce me to as many friends as possible. It will be worth it." Nicholas cheered her up.
"It is wonderful to see you again, Grandfather. Feels like forever since I've talked to a relative like this that isn't named Winter." Adult Weiss smiles at him.
"I gather our family isn't seeing eye-to-eye in your time." Nicholas deduced.
"You can blame Father. His view of the world no longer matches with mine. Why did you allow him to take over the company? He destroyed the image you built for our family for years by abusing Faunus and working with shady business partners." Adult Weiss asked, wanting to know the truth behind her father's rise to leadership over the SDC.
"I wasn't left with much choice. My health isn't as it used to be and Jacques is a more cunning businessman than I am a great one." Nicholas frowned with guilt for how evil his business has become in the future.
"But you were…You ARE a great man. That's what matters. You care about people. Father only cares about winning." Adult Weiss argued.
"True. And though it may be too late to rewrite the past…I am confident that you will surpass us both in every way. Already you have become a castle that is protecting others beyond the stars. You have made me and our family quite proud. Never let the castle in your heart be conquered, Weiss. Even if it is besieged, you can always reclaim it and remake it stronger with the friends you have made." Nicholas smiled, giving his granddaughter some breathtaking encouraging words.
"I won't forget, Grandfather!" Adult Weiss promised with a resolute smile.
BGM-Sonic Generations (3DS) OST-"Windy and Ripply / Emerald Coast: Act 2"
Meanwhile, Kid Weiss jumps on the switch that frees animals from the last capsule in the Zone. "All animals saved!" She announced to the Dimensional Avengers.
"Great job, Weiss! Get down from there. We're going home." X smiled proudly.
Unfortunately that plan is put on hold when a sudden orca jumps out of the water to try and eat Kid Weiss, causing her to scream, "AAAAAAGH!"
"An orca!" Amy exclaimed in surprise.
"Look out!" X shouted, unsure if he'll be able to rescue her in time.
"We got her!" Nicholas proclaimed as the Schnee Family get to work to save one of their own by using the family technique. Glyphs. Grandpa Schnee conjures one below Kid Weiss to help her jump away from the orca's bite. He does this multiple times to counter its appetite until Adult Weiss comes to the last rescue with a glyph that assists her in catching her younger self, with both landing on a platform where the orca bangs its head and falls back into the water.
"Thank you…Somehow that was more terrifying than a Levitation." Kid Weiss panted in exhaustion from that near-death experience.
"No wonder Sonic hates those things." Adult Weiss commented.
That heroic act was rewarded when a mystical purple light garnered looks from the Weisses as they turn and find the purple Chaos Emerald just lying on the ground nearby. "A Chaos Emerald!" Adult Weiss realized to her own shock.
"What is a Chaos Emerald? Is that a new special Dust found in the future?" Kid Weiss asked with curiosity.
"Basically one of seven super Dust from another world that are infinitely more powerful." Adult Weiss explained to her past self while grabbing the mystical gemstone.
"That feels like a billion Dust combined into one. Incredible. In all my years mining the material, I've never encountered such power radiating from a single gem." Nicholas commented on the lustrous gem whilst reuniting with his granddaughters alongside X and Amy.
"This is awesome! The Chaos Emeralds will definitely be a huge help in saving our worlds! Let's give it to Sonic!" Amy smiled ecstatically.
"I am curious to meet this Sonic." Nicholas said.
"Let me warn you ahead of time, Grandfather. That hedgehog is obnoxious. Like he always drags me into the worst trouble." Adult Weiss warned him with an annoyed frown just from thinking about that blue hedgehog.
"Sounds like a fun friend to have! I am envious!" Nicholas quipped, letting out a hearty laugh that embarrasses his granddaughter.

Meanwhile at Speed Highway Zone…
BGM-Spider-Man 2 (Game) OST-Arachnophiliac
Electro 2099 is charging up his power in the middle of Speed Highway for his final battle with Team SSSS. He spots Modern Sonic first and fires a lightning bolt that he blocks by riding a highway sign all the way down to the battlefield. "Hey, buddy! I don't mean to come across as a stick in the mud, but if you could cut the light show, I'm sure all the neighbors would really appreciate it!" Modern Sonic taunted the futuristic villain.
"Just the rodents I've been waiting for! You here for my key? It's not for sale!" Electro 2099 confronted his enemies.
"Then we'll just take it from you by force!" Spider-Man 2099 threatened, before asking his nemesis, "Why are you working for the Time Eater?"
"Easy. I spent my entire existence bending the knee to humans, and I will be jammed if I let them keep running the world!" Electro explained his reason for allying with the Time Eater.
"Typical crazy robot. Sorry Battery Man, but we'll be pulling the plug on your little revenge plot." Amazing Spider-Man quipped.
"Keep making jokes, Spider-Man! We'll see how funny you are when you're lying in the wreckage of the city!" Electro threatened, sinisterly ready to destroy his enemies with the futuristic power of thunder and lightning.
Peter is quick to stick a webline onto Electro that is countered by the android blasting him onto a car with a lightning bolt. Both Sonics attack next but are stopped by Electro's powers creating a lightning shield that zaps them away as well. "It's too dangerous to get close to him! I'll stall him from afar and give you an opening!" Miguel shouted at his teammates while dodging a stunning barrage of lightning balls, swiftly finding the chance to hit him with webbing that is starting to paralyze him.
"Sonic, I'm giving you a Web Throw!" Peter announced.
"Okay!" Classic Sonic responded, running to the spider-hero.
"Meant the other Sonic!" Peter retorted.
"Does it really matter?" Classic sassed.
"I guess not." Peter shrugged.
Just as Miguel completely restrains Electro with webbing, Peter uses his own webs to throw Classic with incredible force so he can smash the supervillain into a building with a Spin Attack. Electro recovers with increased fury, unleashing a massive electrical explosion that devastates Speed Highway. He returns to the skies to bombard the battlefield with lightning bolts, blowing up several cars that blow back the heroes and nearly leaving them at the mercy of a destructive lightning storm. "This era's energy is different from 2099. So primitive. I like it. I'm like a god to these humans." Electro boasted arrogantly.
"A god named Sparkles?" quipped Modern, throwing a car tire that is easily deflected. But that was nothing compared to the car that Miguel surprises Electro with, slamming him to the ground with great force that forces him to discharge some power. Electro gets up as quickly as Peter binding him with webbing before Classic blitzes him with high-speed attacks, all while Modern revs up a powerful Spin Dash that definitely damages the android's circuitry.
"Not bad, organics, but let's see if you can be faster than lightning!" Electro 2099 challenged them while fleeing at lightning speed.
"Can't believe he's challenging US to a race. He has no idea who he's up against, huh." Classic joked.
"Guess history couldn't keep up with our speed." Modern quipped.
Team SSSS chases Electro 2099 through Speed Highway, refusing to let him go until he hands them his Gate Key. Electro is drained but he's not going down without a fight as he calls down multiple lightning strikes to impede his pursuers. The Sonics dodge his attacks with lightning-fast sidesteps but that won't help them against the electric mines launched at them. "Got your back!" shouted Peter, as the Spider-Men work together in web-shooting the mines to clear the path. His tactics failing, Electro is left with no choice but to fly to the top of a skyscraper and hopefully catch a moment to recharge.
"He went up!" Modern shouted.
"Can't let him recharge! Let's finish this!" Miguel declared.
Quickly, the heroes reach the rooftop where Electro is catching his breath. Peter lunges at him to pin him down and pummel him with a barrage of fists. Right after that assault was repelled, Miguel zips by multiple times to restrain his nemesis with enough webbing that he won't escape from in time. Because the Sonics finish him off with Spin Dashes from opposite sides, knocking him out cold and returning power to all of Station Square.

"Lights out, Electro!" Classic Sonic proclaimed victoriously.
"Alright! Our first victory together! Not bad, Team SSSS." Modern Sonic smirked at their win in this Zone.
"Please shut up about the team name. I'm still not feeling it." Miguel commented.
"Man, you need to loosen up. Us Spiders gotta stay peppy." Peter snarked.
Electro 2099 lies defeated. And with his defeat emerges a golden key from his body that Peter recognizes as, "A Gate Key!", before obtaining the key for his team.
"So that's what they look like." Classic noted, before watching the inactive android vanishing from existence, "Hey, where'd he go?"
"He returned to his original time, possibly with no memory of this. I assume the Time Eater is using these keys to control his goons and remove them from play once they outlived their usefulness. This way it'll prevent us from interrogating them for answers on its agenda." Miguel theorized on what happens to a Time Breaker after they are defeated.
"That's smart. Makes me wonder what it plans to do with Eggman and that Lady Ock." Modern wondered.
"Probably to make them Time Breakers too. We'll just have to keep investigating." Miguel stated sternly.
Upper East Side District, Manhattan. White Space.
BGM-Sonic Rush OST-Theme of After the Fight
Speed Highway has been secured by Team SSSS. In turn, the Upper East district is restoring itself to normal just as the heroes exit the gateway. They bear witness to Teen Ruby breaking free from her petrification along with Human Torch, Lissa, Cream and Cheese. Once the latter two realize they are free they celebrate by giving each other a high five. "Thanks, Sonic. Hey, is it me, or did you get a new haircut?" Cream asked, mistaking Classic Sonic for Modern and causing him to run through his quills in shock.
"That's just how I used to look, Cream." Modern Sonic quipped at the rabbit, shocking his freed friends with the presence of Team SSSS.
"Am I seeing things?! Why are there two Sonics and two Spider-Men?! Did someone open another Outrealm Gate or something?!" Lissa exclaimed.
"Basically." Amazing Spider-Man replied.
"Totally not fair! Can't believe I've been missing out on a time traveling adventure! Should've known it's that time of the month." Human Torch complained.
"Where's everyone else?" Teen Ruby asked.
"Do you want me to tell you that or little you?" Peter quipped.
"I have my own me here too?!" Ruby reacted with great surprise at this news of Kid Ruby being in White Space.
"Just like the rest of Team RWBY. Case in point, the Twin Royals of Ice." Modern let out a smirky quip upon noticing Weiss's party approaching them.
"SHUT UP, SONIC!" The Weisses retorted.
"Weiss, you're okay!" Ruby expressed by happily hugging her partner.
"Same to you! I was worried!" Adult Weiss smiled whilst embracing her best friend.
"Just can't believe there are two of you. And another me somewhere here." Ruby said.
"You'll meet her soon." Adult Weiss smiled.
"So this is what Ruby grows up to be. Eh, I guess I can see her being my leader." Kid Weiss sassed, starting to somewhat respect her future leader.
"Oh yeah, she's definitely you." Ruby teased her partner.
"Quiet you!" Adult Weiss scowled.
"It is an honor to meet more of Weiss's friends." Nicholas greeted Team SSSS.
"Who are you, old timer?" Classic Sonic asked.
"Santa Claus!" Peter joked while shaking Nick's hand.
"That's my GRANDFATHER, you imbeciles! Nicholas Schnee! The Founder of Schnee Dust Company!" Adult Weiss angrily corrected the jokesters.
"Whoa, really? Thought he died." Ruby casually commented.
"Must've been caught by the time distortion." Spider-Man 2099 calmly realized.
Nicholas sternly nods, "Indeed. Which is why I want to help you destroy the monster that is trapping us. Weiss tells me you are our best hope, so we brought you this to even the odds.", before handing the heroes the Chaos Emerald they found at Emerald Coast.
"A Chaos Emerald! Christmas HAS come early! Thanks, Santa Schnee! This will come in handy!" Modern smiled, gratefully accepting his gift.
"You're welcome." Nicholas smiled.
"You are so lucky that Grandfather likes you." Adult Weiss scowls at the hedgehog for continuing her embarrassment in front of her grandfather.
"What can I say? I'm a charismatic hedgehog." Modern laughed cheekily, annoying the heiress while the rest of their friends stand amused and ready to restore the next timespace.

KFX Here: Nicholas Schnee is the first of several special RWBY characters to guest star in this remake! So while Team SSSS is busy saving time, each member of Team RWBY will be meeting legendary huntsmen from the past and present! A good way to incorporate the rest of the 3DS levels here!
