Spider-Man: Look out! Here comes the Spider-Man! Thanks to Miguel and Little Sonic, we restored time in another section of the city! Had to fight an Electro from the future to do that. Crazy, huh. Won't be surprising if we run into more 2099 baddies. It'd be interesting to say the least.

"A hundred years from now, you dress up like Peter. Incredible. Has he meant that much to you?" asked Mary Jane, hanging out with the unmasked and disguised Spider-Man 2099 while he's taking a short break from saving time.

"Not at first." Miguel admitted solemnly. "But somehow things just seemed to…evolve. And it's not just me. 'Spider-Man' brings so much hope to…" He shuts up for a moment to take a sip from his coffee that MJ bought for him, much to his pleasure, "Wow. This is made from real coffee beans."

While sitting on a bench together, MJ smiles, "Y'know…I don't know whether to hope this is fate…or on the level. It's nice to know that-."

"THIS IS SUPER COOL! THIS IS BEYOND COOL!"

Their friendly conversation was then interrupted by Kid Ruby marveling at her future self with such overwhelmingly excited eyes that dumbfounds Teen Ruby. She hasn't unlocked her Semblance yet and already Kid Ruby is blitzing around her future self to check her out rambling, "You're me from the future! Am I really gonna be team leader?! Where's your weapon?! Is this your weapon?! Looks so cool! What is it called?! Did I graduate yet?! Can I cheat off you?! Can I PLEASE get your autograph?!"

"…Uh…sure…" Teen Ruby responded after a moment of standing utterly astonished by her younger self's energy, signing her signature on her kid self's favorite fairy tale.

"Thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you!" Kid Ruby energetically hugs her autograph before showing it off to Kid Yang who too is hanging out with the group, "Look sis, I got her autograph!"

"Wow. It looks exactly like your handwriting." Kid Yang smiled, quipping about her sister getting an autograph from herself.

"Yeah!" Kid Ruby smiled both innocently and ignorant of her sister's joke.

"Was I really that energetic when I was a kid…?" Teen Ruby commented about her younger self, scratching her confused head.

"You still are when you find new weapons." MJ quipped.

"Can't believe I achieved my dream of becoming a huntress! I cannot WAIT for the future!" Kid Ruby smiled stupidly.

"That dream is still a work-in-progress. Becoming a true huntress is a lot harder than I thought." Teen Ruby said calmly.

"A true huntress?" questioned Kid Ruby, confused by what she meant about a true huntress.

"It's so weird seeing you as the older sister now. That's supposed to be my job." Kid Yang said to her little sister's teen counterpart, who is definitely several years older than the child blonde.

"That's time travel for you. It is very very confusing." Teen Ruby quipped.

"Speaking about time travel, break time's over. It's time I investigate the next Zone. What's taking Parker and the others so long?" Miguel wondered, finishing the last of his coffee before switching to his costume.

"Johnny wanted to show them something. Said it'll help them in the mission." Teen Ruby responded.

Right on cue, a loud honking noise alerts to the group to Peter and the Sonics' arriving presence. All of them are bewildered to find them and Johnny driving up to them on a ridiculous buggy that is very Spider-Man-themed. "What the shock is this?" Miguel asked just right after Peter parks his new ride beside him.

"It's the Spider-Mobile! Johnny made it for me for my birthday!" Amazing Spider-Man announced.

"Looks more primitive than the other cars here." Miguel mocked.

"Bite your tongue, dude. I put my absolute best in this thing. Watch, it's gonna make history by 2099." Human Torch retorted with a proud smile of his greatest ride for his greatest friend.

"For better or worse." MJ slyly smiled, eliciting a giggle from Teen Ruby.

"Can I ride it?" Kid Ruby eagerly asked Team SSSS.

"Sure. After we save all of time. Just be a good girl 'til then, okay." Peter said, ruffling her adorable hair from the driver seat.

"Okay!" Kid Ruby shouted with a giant happy smile.

"Having your own ride does sound cool. I should have my own one day. Have it be a…sports motorcycle or something. What would I call it…?" Kid Yang pondered, in earshot of Modern Sonic.

"How 'bout Bumblebee?" Modern Sonic suggested.

"I like it!" Yang retorted happily, unaware that is the name of her future motorcycle.

"Hop aboard, O'Hara! We're going down to Midtown! Just remember to fasten your seatbelts." Peter proclaimed, while Johnny exits the vehicle so he won't impede Team SSSS's mission.

"Hope you have a license for this thing." snarked Miguel, stepping into the passenger seat.

"It's New York. Who needs a license?" quipped Peter, revving up his Spider-Mobile to great speeds that is already taking them to the next gateway located in the Midtown district.

City Escape Zone.

BGM-Sonic Generations OST- City Escape: Act 1 "Escape from the City - Cash Cash RMX" (OST Version)

Team SSSS burst out of the Time Hole riding the Spider-Mobile that is being driven down the steep roads of this city-like Zone. "Another city. Reminds me of San Francisco. A good place to practice my driving." Amazing Spider-Man said, driving down the hill in search of fun and a Time Breaker.

Modern Sonic takes a moment to observe his surroundings from the back seat. Like the many Zones before, there is something familiar about this area until his heart helps him fully remember, "This is…Central City. I was trying to escape from it…I remember now. This was during the time I was chased by the military for a crime I didn't commit." As a reward for remembering this Zone, his ride is under assault by a horde of flying military Beetle drones. "GUN Beetles! Looks like they remember too. We need to escape military pursuit. Lil' Me and I will clear the road for ya!" He scowled, ready for action.

The Sonics then jump out of the Spider-Mobile and retaliate against the GUN Horde with Homing Attacks. "So who framed you? Was it Eggman?" asked Classic Sonic, homing his Spin Attack on a single drone.

"No, but he was working with the guy that got me into trouble. He's a black hedgehog named Shadow who kinda becomes our biggest rival. He's also a real buzz-kill." answered Modern Sonic, chaining masterful Homing Attacks on several enemies.

"A black hedgehog? How can anyone mistake him for us? We look nothing alike." Classic remarks, while kicking a Beetle at his counterpart.

"I know, right?" Modern quipped, who kicks that Beetle onto the remaining horde to share the same destroyed fate.

The Hedgehogs decide to run down the road ahead of the Spider-Mobile. The Spiders will catch up, though Peter sees this as a glorious chance to experiment with the other neat tricks his birthday gift has built in. "Let's see what else this baby can do! Woohoo!" hollered Peter, driving the Spider-Mobile along the surfaces of buildings.

"We're riding along the wall." Spider-Man 2099 commented.

"Are you impressed?"

"Meh."

"HALT, SPIDER-MAN!" Suddenly the adventure starts getting crazy when the heroes are confronted by futuristic police officers riding hovercrafts. "I mean…Spider-Men? This is weird. I was informed there should be just one." A confused officer said.

"Oh shock. Didn't know the Public Eye was thrown into this timespace." Miguel recognized these corrupt cops from his time.

"What the heck's a Public Eye?" Peter retorted.

"More who than what. They're Alchemax's own private army. Cares less about the people and more about the company's greedy needs." Miguel answered.

"So we have both GUN and future cops on our tail? This day just keeps getting better." Modern remarked sarcastically.

"Wherever we are won't stop us from following orders! You and your friends are coming with us, Spider-Man, dead or alive!" A Public Eye Officer declared.

The Public Eye begin firing their laser blasters at the heroes, forcing hedgehogs and spiders to separate. The Spider-Mobile was still driving along buildings until it finds the chance to jump onto a rooftop where the Web Warriors are still being pursued by the cops. Miguel fights back with webbing that pushes back their pursuers, though the situation grows a little complicated when the GUN Robots decided to aid these time-traveling cops. "Police here, police in my time, police in the future! I can never seem to win with cops anywhere and anywhen! Now where the heck did Johnny put the weapons system!" Peter complained, avoiding blasts and pressing random buttons on his ride that he hopes will help. Eventually a button he pushes activates the buggy's own web-shooters, causing Peter to exclaim, "Sweet!", and go to town on the military menace with rapidfire web bullets.

"Here?" Classic comments on the goons the hedgehogs come across on one corner. "And here too?" He complains again, confronting another enemy horde at another corner. "Sheesh! There always seems to be a lot of police around when you don't need them!" He joked while fleeing from military pursuit.

"All this cuz they mistook me for Shadow. This is why I don't like thinking about the past a whole lot. Some adventures were just dumb. Starting to remember that time Eggman swapped our shoes for ones that slowed us down." Modern conversed.

"Oh yeah. That was not too long ago for me. Couldn't jump or even run. Totally embarrassing." Classic responded.

"It couldn't have been that bad." said Miguel, as the Spider-Mobile reunites with the mobians, "You still beat him, right? Nothing wrong drawing strength from your history, both the good and bad."

"Pete and I had a similar conversation this morning." Modern recalled, "I prefer living in the now, thanks. What happened, happened. I've got no regrets. 'Cause time doesn't wait for me. I choose to go my own way."

"Then you must hate that you chose to go down memory lane." Miguel snarked, criticizing his ideal.

Modern then spots an abandoned snowboard on the sidewalk and smiles, "Like I said, ain't got no time for regrets.", before hopping onto it and using it to ride down the hill in style. Attacks from their multiversal enemies are starting to wind down as Modern speeds up, racing alongside Classic and the Spider-Mobile. A car nearly hits Modern but was knocked aside by Classic's Spin Attack, receiving a thumbs-up in gratitude and an abandoned skateboard for him to have fun with. Both speedsters are going fast then faster upon tricking off some ramps, leading to Modern grinding a power line while the Spiders finish off the rest of their pursuers.

Their enemies are finished for now as Team SSSS slow down at a park where it's safe for a breather. "We got away for now. Lyla, have you pinpointed the Time Breaker of this area yet?" Miguel asked his A.I. assistant, while the hedgehogs jump off their respective boards.

'Almost. I have detected a civilian in danger nearby.' Lyla reported through the commlink.

"There!" Classic shouted, quickly pointing out the person in need of help.

That person happens to be a beautiful blonde woman in an ancient white dress. She is confronted by four of the humanoid GUN Hunters that are threatening her with their arm cannons. "Hold on! We're coming-!" shouted Peter, with Team SSSS running to save her. But the mystery lady doesn't need saving. Evident by the magic she channels through her hands to easily obliterate the otherworldly machines. "To help you…?" Peter finished with astonishment at her powers.

The Mysterious Sorceress was surprised upon noticing the heroes and asks them, "Who are you? Are you allies of these metal monsters?"

"Far from it. We were going to save you from them, but your parlor tricks beat us to it." Peter quipped.

"Parlor tricks? Are you referring to my magic?" The Sorceress responded.

"Magic doesn't exist. It's just science we don't understand yet." Miguel commented.

"It does where I'm from. I'm certain it was magic that brought me to this strange realm." The Sorceress retorted.

"You're confusing magic for a spacetime distortion caused by a quantum entity from space." Miguel argued.

"I do not understand." The Sorceress said with a confused eyebrow raise.

"What Future Bugs is trying to say is that there's a monster running amok our worlds and we're trying to stop it." Modern Sonic explained. "We're the Dimensional Avengers! We'll escort you to a safe place 'til we clean up this mess." He smiled at her.

Grateful for their help, the Sorceress smiles, "Thank you.", before revealing her own name that will rock their hearts, "My name is Salem. A pleasure to meet you all."

BGM-Transformers: Devastation OST-Operation Obliteration

"What?!" exclaimed Peter, with both he and Modern gasping with utter shock upon realizing they have befriended the past version of Remnant's Immortal Dark Enemy.

The other two heroes, however, are ignorant about Salem's destiny as Classic casually greets her, "Nice to meet ya, Sal. Hop aboard the Spider-Mobile. We're gonna take you for a ride through the timestream."

"This is a very strange carriage." Salem said, casually inspecting the futuristic-looking vehicle.

Before heading out, Miguel notice Peter and Modern looking wary about Salem. "What's wrong?" He asked them.

"That woman…It can't be…Though I am seeing a resemblance…" Modern frowned warily and vaguely.

"What are you talking about? Have you met this Salem before?" Miguel asked curiously.

"Yes and no. We'll explain along the way. And hope this isn't some elaborate trap." Peter answered, returning to adventure with the uncorrupted Past Salem as their unexpected guest.

"…So their petrification is the result of their 'time' being siphoned." said Modern Tails, standing with his Classic counterpart as the two foxes have been using the Miles Electric to study the petrified civilians, along with the other spacetime anomalies that'll help the heroes understand the Time Eater better. "In other words, they ran out of time. Fascinating. Transmitting the additional data to you now, Harry. What have you learned on your end?"

'This is unbelievable. The disruption in spacetime is expanding at an alarming rate. Those Time Holes that monster is creating are the problem. They're throwing our universes into chaos.' Harry responded through the commlink, using Oscorp computers to help the foxes' research.

"There does appear to be a pattern, but I can't figure it out yet." Classic Tails said vaguely, getting the sense the Time Eater isn't on a mindless rampage.

'Hm…What's confusing me is the restoration. Fixing time should be more complex than just beating up supervillains. I'm not detecting any correlation between a restored Zone and their Gate Key.' Harry noticed through his studies.

"Good point. The Zones I explored with my Sonic were restored to normal and we didn't find any key or fight a bad guy. Besides that Hound." Classic noted.

With a stern frown, Modern Tails ponders, "Then the answer must lie in Sonic and Spider-Man. Or at least Sonic…We need to do more research. Keep scanning timespaces for the Chaos Emeralds. They'll be useful."

'Got it! Keep in touch.' Harry understood, ending the call.

"Wow." Classic gazes at his counterpart with amazed eyes.

"What is?" Modern responds with a confused look.

"You!" Classic stated, "And, me, I guess. I'm just surprised how confident I'll grow up to be."

"Experience will do a lot for the psyche." Modern smiles, as the two foxes walk and chat for an insightful moment, "I've changed a lot since I've started hanging with Sonic, but I've learned I can't always depend on him. There will be times we have to save the day ourselves."

"That's scary to think about…" Classic frowned in disbelief, fearing his future.

"We've done it before. Who was it that stopped Witchcart and her Witchcarters? And who saved Cocoa Island from being conquered by the Battle Bird Armada before we even met Sonic?" Modern smiled, encouraging his past self by reminding him of his past heroics.

"Oh yeah, that was me! Guess I do have what it takes to be like Sonic!" retorted Classic, smiling brightly with a renewed heart of confidence.

"Right! We just have to believe in ourselves! Before you know it, we'll be flying to the highest of all the heavens!" Modern grinned, with both Tailses determined to improve themselves and become as great heroes as their idols.

BGM-Sonic Generations OST- City Escape: Act 2 "Escape from the City - Blue Blur RMX" (OST Version)

"WOOOOOOOOAAAAH!"

Past Salem is experiencing the weird day in her life. She was thrown across time and space. Befriended Team SSSS. And might be scarred for life by Peter's driving as they ride the Spider-Mobile off a cliff. They ride down street hills while Peter executes awesome drifts from across roads to building walls. GUN Robots and Public Eye form a blockade to stop them, and expectedly that ended in utter failure as Team SSSS barge right through them at blistering speeds they couldn't comprehend.

"Wonder if you can perform air tricks with it?" wondered Modern Sonic, glancing at the Spider-Mobile.

"Don't try it!" retorted Spider-Man 2099, having decided to web-swing through the Zone instead of being Peter's passenger buddy.

"I'm not that reckless with a passenger!" said Amazing Spider-Man, whilst riding a loop.

"You say that, but you're the one driving her down a loop!" quipped Modern, launching himself off a Horizontal Bar to achieve great airtime over gaps.

"Your roads are built weird, alright!" Peter snarked. Upon exiting the loop, he glances a concerned look at his mystical passenger and asks her, "You doing okay? I can slow down if you want."

"No no, that's okay!" Past Salem retorted, before calming her nerves with a sigh, "Gods, my heart is racing…Never experienced this kind of excitement my whole life."

"Remnant can be dull in some places." Peter quipped.

"Remnant? Is that what otherworlders call my homeworld?" The confused Salem questioned.

"That's what I heard. What do you call your homeworld?" Peter asked.

"I…don't know. I was trapped in a tower since birth with little knowledge of the world, until a brave warrior saved me from my prison." Salem replied, smiling in remembrance of her lovely savior.

"He sounds awesome. Would love to meet him. Uh…He IS a he, isn't he?" Peter asked awkwardly, hiding the fact that he knows of Salem's origins and tragic future.

Giggling at his awkwardness, Salem answers his question, "He is. His name is Ozma. Unfortunately, he is…" Her muzzle then forms a frown that is hiding a sad truth, "Ill. No magic or medicine is helping him. I was in the middle of a journey to meet two powerful sorcerers that I pray will restore him to full health when I was brought to this world. I have been carrying his staff to give me strength." She claimed, revealing her lover's long scepter to the spider.

"I'm sorry to hear that…Hope he gets better." Peter said solemnly, easily seeing through her lie.

"Me too." Salem frowned grimly.

BGM-Tekken 5 OST- Destined Interlude ~ Sad Conclusion

Unbeknownst to Salem, her lie was heard by the other members of Team SSSS as they seclusively travel beside them to discuss about her tragic history. "Thought so. That Salem is from a time between Ozma's death and her meeting with the gods." Modern realized solemnly.

"Gods? A little extreme to ask them for help. And, why does it seem you and Pete don't trust her?" The curious Classic Sonic asked his counterpart.

"Because Salem becomes one of our most dangerous enemies in the future. She tried tricking the gods into bringing back her dead boyfriend, only for that to backfire and put humanity on the extinction list. She was made immortal as punishment, made worse when she fell into a pool of Grimm. Nowadays she's just a witch that has an everlasting sweet tooth for destruction." said Modern, briefing his two new friends on Salem's villainous future.

"Oof. Poor lady. Think we should warn her?" Classic asked, feeling empathy for the sorceress.

"Let's not make this mission any more complicated. We're already suffering the consequences of changing history." Miguel argued sternly.

"A good example of what Big Me was talkin' about earlier." Classic claimed.

"This again?" Miguel tiredly recalled their conversation about past and future.

"Being obsessed with the past isn't healthy for anyone, let alone yourself. We all have bad days. What matters most is finding the strength to move on and never turn back." Classic argued, being the type of person that refuses to dwell on the past.

"Everyone has their end. Salem failed to understand that and has put multiple worlds in danger in a vain attempt to find peace for just herself. It's sad, I know, but…It's the reason why we gotta live life to the fullest in the time we have. That's what I always thought, at least." Modern said, preferring to live in the present.

"All good points, but we shouldn't run away from the past forever or be just content with the now. The Heroic Age is all but forgotten in my time, and my time is a dystopia that I've been fighting to change every single day. No matter what it was, we must remember what happened before so we can learn from the past and have it accumulate into the present for an even greater purpose. Take note! It's our history that shape our future!" Miguel argued, favoring the strength that will save the future.

All three of them brought up excellent statements that their hearts take note of. Sensing something amiss, Salem looks at those three and casually asks them, "What are you three talking about over there?"

"Oh, just giving Old Man Webhead here a history lesson for the ages." Classic lied through a clever quip.

"I am NOT old! Compared to me, all of you are ancient history!" Miguel snarked with annoyance.

"Your friends are weird." Salem frowned at Peter.

"The weirdest." Peter joked.

Suddenly in the midst of driving, Peter's head tingles are alerting him to an incoming threat. 'Spider-Sense tingling!' He glances at Salem who is not acting suspicious in the slightest. 'Doesn't seem to be from Salem. So then who?' He thought.

'Team!' Just then, Lyla alerts them to the danger through their comms, 'I have detected the Time Breaker! They are approaching us from behind at a rapid pace!'

"Where? I'm not seeing anything." said Classic, looking back to find nothing.

BGM-Sonic Generations OST- City Escape: Act 2 "The Mad Convoy Race" (OST Version)

Except for a colossal military truck that barges over entire cars in its relentless pursuit for Team SSSS, striking them with overwhelming fear that causes their eyes to widen in sweaty horror. "HOLY CRAP! IT'S A TRUCK!" Peter yelled in utter shock.

"Right…Forgot GUN was this desperate…" Modern sweatdropped, scratching his shameful head.

"What have I been saying?! THIS is why you should never forget your history!" Miguel retorted angrily at the hedgehog.

Of course the Time Breaker is the one trying to run over the heroes. What they didn't expect was an evil laugh followed by a cybernetic bulky elder looking out the window grinning, "Well well. Ain't this a blast from my past. Long time no see, Spider-Man!", at Peter.

"What the?! That old man is covered in metal!" Salem commented in shock.

"Silvermane!" Peter recognized the cybernetic crime boss, "Time Eater must have lousy taste in henchmen if it chose a crippled relic like you. What's with the bulkier frame?" He asked, prompting Silvermane to transform his arm into a cannon that is charging up a deadly blast at him. "And the more intense firepower?" Peter joked in shock, right before his Spider-Mobile is narrowly hit.

"That's 'cause he's fused with 2099 technology!" Miguel stated.

"How did that happen?" Peter questioned with confusion.

"Because Silvermane managed to live into my era! His cybernetics gave him life eternal!" said Miguel, announcing that this Silvermane is really Silvermane 2099.

"You're kidding! This old geezer?!" Classic reacted with shock.

"This 'technology' has made him immortal? Can't imagine myself enduring that terrible fate." Salem commented, ironic considering she does become immortal in the near future.

"It's not all bad. The future has gifted me the opportunity of a lifetime: The complete annihilation of my oldest foe!" Silvermane 2099 smirked. Reimagined thanks to future technology, the old cyborg continues firing energy blasts from his arm cannon at his enemies. Combined with his expert driving skills that has his stolen military truck still in hot pursuit, the heroes are pressured to flee with all their speed. "I can never seem to escape you Spiders, no matter the era! But times are changing. The Time Eater is making sure of that. I'll make certain you stop interfering with our business!" He claimed threateningly.

"Oh please. We'll have you crying to your motherboard in an instant." snarked Miguel, webbing his windshield to blind him and forcing him to continue shooting out his door window.

"Allow me!" Salem assists with a mystic bolt at the villain's arm cannon, stunning him while triggering his fury.

"Bastards! You kids need to learn to respect your elders!" Silvermane retorted angrily. "Engage autopilot! Activate offensive maneuvers!" He then activates his jet boots to fly while leaving the truck to drive on its own. The grinning Silvermane flies ahead of all the heroes, eager to destroy them all with his full arsenal. That includes his GUN Military Truck, which protrudes three massive imposing sawblades from the top of its cab that threatens to slice anyone that slows down.

"IT HAS SAWBLADES! YOU NEVER TOLD US IT HAS SAWBLADES!" The terrified Peter scolded the older hedgehog.

"It didn't have those before, I swear!" Modern retorted, sharing his frightened look at the war truck.

The intense battle and chase is taken to the rooftops of apartment buildings. Silvermane 2099 is still in the air bombarding the road with energy blasts that the heroes struggle to avoid. The Spider-Mobile fights back in vain with its web shooters before the crime boss damages it with an electrical trap, causing it to slow down so the GUN Military Truck can start bisecting it from behind. "GET US OUT OF HERE!" The terrified Salem shouted at her spider-driver, who manages to activate the rocket boosters that helps his ride escape destruction.

"Soon, the Manfredi family will rule the underworld until the end of time!" claimed Silvermane, firing a potent blast that knocks Miguel out of his web-swinging action and almost to his demise by the truck if Salem didn't catch him by the hand.

"Getting senile, old man! Better off spending eternity playing bingo at a nursing home!" quipped Classic, curling into a ball for his older self to kick at the crime boss and stun him for a Homing Attack barrage.

"What's wrong, Silvermane? Those old muscles not moving like they used to?" snarked Peter, watching Miguel follow up the team combo with a blitzing claw slash that scars his metal body.

The battle is finally weakening Silvermane 2099 as he struggles furiously to keep up with the heroes racing in the lead. Soon they all jump to race along a vertical wall, leaving behind the GUN Military Truck that doesn't seem to share that capability. "Hah! Try chasing us now!" Modern taunted it. He quickly regrets those words as the Truck reveal its rocket boosters after retracting the sawblades to charge ferociously at the heroes that simultaneously shout, "OH COME ON!", with great surprise.

"End of the road, brats!" Silvermane threatened to finish them off this time.

Salem wonders how to stop him and looks ahead to find the answer. In mere moments, they will come across a gap between buildings that looks big enough for the heroes to traverse through. But looks so small that the truck won't be able to fit right through. This gives her a sly idea, prompting her to quip, "Got that right!", before using her full power to electrocute Silvermane with lightning magic that shuts down most of his system. As he falls out of the sky, Salem shouts at Miguel to, "Web him!"

Quickly, Miguel realized her plan as he webs the fallen crime boss onto the grill of the truck. Try as he might, Silvermane can't break free. Not within the time he has left. "See ya at your retirement party!" Modern taunted while the heroes flee through the narrow opening. Silvermane is not so fortunate as he is in grave danger of crashing into a large building. All he can do now is scream out his humiliating defeat before the crash ends the threat of both him and the GUN Military Truck in an explosive fashion.

Once more, Team SSSS is victorious over a Time Breaker. They earned the moment to stop and relax after so much intense running, causing Classic Sonic to comment about it, "That was crazy…"

"You said it." Peter panted.

"Think Silvermane survived that?" Modern Sonic asked the group.

"He survived the last two centuries. At the very most, his head is still in the game." Miguel quipped dryly, before turning to compliment Salem for her big assist in that last moment, "Nice strategy back there."

"It was nothing. This was the most fun I've had in forever. Shame about your vehicle." smiled Salem, glancing at the Spider-Mobile that suffered severe damage during the fight.

Peter sighs, "And I just got this too. Johnny's not gonna be happy."

"We'll take it to the shop later." Modern assured, right before this Zone's Gate Key materializes over his hand. "C'mon, let's get outta here." He suggested with a big smile, ready to return to New York.

Midtown District, Manhattan. White Space.

BGM-Sonic Rush OST-Theme of After the Fight

Another Zone explored, another district restored. As are the civilians and more friends of Team SSSS such as Rouge the Bat, Black Cat, Penny Polendina, and Pit. "Thanks, guys. The thing that snatched us was like nothing I've ever seen before. Watch out." Rouge said to her saviors, specifically to Classic Sonic and Spidey 2099 that confuses the rescuees, "Come to think of it, you're nothing like the Sonic and Spidey I've seen before."

"Did you stare into the Mirror of Truth? Is that's what's happening?" Pit believed.

"No, it looks like they're suffering temporal displacement." Penny realized, thanks to her android nature scanning the truth.

"This is gonna keep gettin' confusing 'til the end of the adventure, huh." sighed Classic Sonic, shrugging and scratching his head and getting tired of people confusing him for his older counterpart.

"Well, well, the Black Cat. The history holographs don't do you justice." Spidey 2099 flirted with the legendary cat burglar.

"I'm certain. Thanks for the save, Future Spider. You seem to have the situation handled. Maybe sometime you can handle me." Black Cat teased, shaking his hand in gratitude.

"That would be absolutely…wait, what?" Miguel retorted in confusion.

"Relax…You're kinda young for me anyway, don't you think? By about a century?" Black Cat teased once more with a smile that embarrasses the future hero.

All the friends are enjoying this reunion. A reunion that saddens Past Salem as she begins to walk toward solitude. "Where are you going?" asked Amazing Spider-Man, suddenly appearing to stop her departure.

"Forgive me. I thought it'd be inappropriate if I intrude in your reunion. I fear I will never have that with Ozma…" Past Salem somberly expressed.

Feeling sympathetic to her plight, Peter tries comforting her. "Listen…This is just a feeling, but…I'm positive you'll have your reunion with Ozma." He claimed carefully.

"You really think so?" Salem lightly gasps in shock.

"He doesn't sound like a guy that would let death stop him from reuniting with his loved ones." Peter quipped. "I just hope you two find true happiness together. Be careful of the choices you make. They'll define you for a lifetime. And if the worst ever happens, always remember this: You're never alone. Keep the memory of love alive in your heart." He advised her solemnly, cryptically warning her of her tragic future.

With a grateful smile affected by her tears, Salem promises, "I will do my best to make the right choices." She then embraces the spider-hero with a hug while telling him, "Thank you, Spider-Man. You are the second man to save me from solitude. You are as brave and kind as Ozma himself. I will make certain to pass your regards to him."

"Take a break for now. I'll show you to a hotel shortly." Peter said while she stops hugging him.

"I do not know what this hotel is but I trust you. Thank you." Salem smiled happily.

As Salem walks away with a hopeful heart for her future, Modern Sonic approaches his spider-partner. "Think that was enough to change her future?" He asked grimly, having eavesdropped their whole conversation.

"I don't know." Peter admitted. "Memories of the past. Dreams of the future. How we treasure them in the present is what will forever define us. It may be too late for Salem, but not for us. We'll find a way to save her." He solemnly promised himself to find a way to save Present Salem from the darkness.

"Right!" Modern vowed to help him in his mission, once they save history.
