Sonic: I'm Sonic. Sonic the Hedgehog! That last Gate we explored had us fight Eggman and Ock again. Which didn't made sense since I thought Eggman was kidnapped by the Time Eater. That did happen, after we beat 'em. I don't get it. He was kidnapped then escaped and got captured again? All this time traveling is hurting my head cuz I don't know who's the real bad guy anymore.

"So Octavius wasn't behind this either. But why kidnap the Doctors?" Harry asked in a meeting with his superhero friends in his office. Team SSSS, Team RWBY, the RWBY Kids, and the Tailses are all in attendance after their encounter with the Dimensional Doctors. Even Mary Jane is here wanting to know their next plan to save history.

"My best guess now is that the Time Eater is forcing them to build it the perfect body. Once it has that, it'll be too powerful for any timeline." Amazing Spider-Man responded.

"We still have time to stop it, however little. The Docs said it's hiding in a Nexus of All Realities?" Mary Jane remarked.

"The gateway to every era. The Docs knew where to find it, but they were kidnapped before they could tell us anything." Modern Sonic said.

"It has to be somewhere nearby. We need to find it now! Lyla's been keeping an eye on the timestream. It's been all but devoured. Time in all of our dimensions are on the verge of reaching zero. The second it hits, all planets and life within them would no longer exist. Everything will be left a void." said Spider-Man 2099, informing everyone of the critical situation they are now in.

"That's terrible!" Kid Ruby retorted in horror.

"Is there any neighborhood left that was blocked by Quantum Fog?" Teen Ruby asked the Oscorp President.

"Yeah." Harry presses a button on his desk that projects their next destination, "A warehouse at an abandoned pier. The Tailses tried to investigate it earlier with no luck."

"Just the warehouse was fogged?" Adult Blake questioned, finding it suspicious.

"Yeah. Something is definitely hidden in there. We spent a lot of time researching the Time Holes and those Gates and detected a familiar signal inside the warehouse." Modern Tails told everyone.

"The fog made it impossible to research it further, but it shouldn't be a problem anymore now that most of the quantum anomalies have vanished. Knowing what we know now, it MUST contain the entrance to the Nexus!" Classic Tails believed confidently.

"Then what are we lazing around here for? Let's do it to it and finally put the kibosh on this temporal nightmare!" Classic Sonic declared, quite eager to defeat the Time Eater.

BGM-Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order OST-Losing Control

The dimensional heroes are ready to take this war to the Time Eater and put an end to its temporal hunger. Easier said than done, supported by the Spiders' super senses that detect a massive threat drawing near. A dark force signaled by a tremendous earthquake affecting the entire city. "T-This is…!" Miguel remarked, recognizing this threat.

"Alert!" Lyla projects her hologram in a panic, "Multiple temporal rifts are forming across the city!'

"Looks like it's ready to fight too." Peter realized this is the Time Eater's doing with a stern tone. "Alert all patrol teams. We have no time to lose. Help me save our histories!" He commanded his friends.

"You can count on us! I don't want to lose my memory of you guys!" Adult Yang stated solemnly.

"We'll always have your back, man! Lead the way!" Harry smiled with a shoulder touch to his best friend, with he and MJ ready to join him in investigating the Lair of the Time Eater.

BGM-Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order OST-Planet in Peril

Nine massive Time Holes opening in nine different districts. New York City is about to suffer its most wild temporal invasion yet. From Badniks to Lizards to Iblis Monsters. The Time Eater has summoned hundreds of minions from across time and space to wreak havoc on the entire city as part of its ultimate plan to conquer the spacetime continuum.

"Here they come!" Amy noticed.

The hammer-wielding hedgehog stand alongside Lucina, Mister Fantastic, and Lie Ren, as this superhero team stand before an army of NYPD officers determined to protect Harlem from Time Eater Forces approaching them. "Everyone! Right now, we must unite our strengths together! Do not let a single foe harm a civilian! We will protect this city to our last breath! ATTACK!" Lucina rallied her forces with all her heart before leading them into the epic defense of the city.

The NYPD let out mighty roars whilst combating the temporal enemies with their full arsenal. Guns kill lizards while Badniks decimate officers. Lucina's team backup the cops, fighting alongside them to defeat the enemy together. Amy hammers an Egg Pawn that would've killed a cop. Reed grabs an Ultron Drone with his stretchy arm, swinging it around and clearing room for more officers to help in the fight. Officers that support Ren in showering Iblis Monsters with bullets. Lucina keeps on providing support to anyone that needs it, refusing to let any monster or robot escape the wrath of her roaring blade.

All the friends that Team SSSS saved throughout this adventure finally have their moment in the sun by protecting the city in their absence. At Hell's Kitchen, Rouge allows herself to be spun around by Black Cat's grappling hook to gain enough momentum for her deadly, "Screw Kick!", which drills through hordes of enemies. The bat spy bounces off a bulky Symbiote Thug, which doesn't stop her from throwing up bombs that Nora smacks down to foes that wanted nothing to do with them. One bomb drops in front of Pit's bow, who arrows it to a large enemy horde that scatters them all to submission.

"That combo was made for the history books!" Pit chuckled celebratory.

"Is this the best the Time Eater can throw at me?" taunted Knuckles, defending Chinatown from invading forces alongside Invisible Woman, Palutena, and Jaune.

"Don't say that out loud, Knuckles!" Invisible Woman snarked, encasing the echidna within a force bubble that empowers his ferocious charge through all enemies in his way.

"Get inside! Hurry!" shouted Aunt May, evacuating civilians into the F.E.A.S.T. building.

One Iblis Biter catches May's scent and lunges to maw the scared woman. Thankfully, Jaune defends her with his shield before his sword skills vanquish the fire demon. "Are you okay, Mrs. Parker?" He asked his friend's aunt.

"Yes!" May nodded.

Jaune takes a quick moment to then survey the battlefield, noting the district is on the verge of being overwhelmed. "Palutena, give us some room!" He ordered the light goddess.

"Heavenly Light!" Palutena shouted while hovering in the sky, unleashing devastating rays of light that easily pushed back enemy forces by several dozen, while massacring their troops by a hundred.

Over at Midtown, a familiar vibranium shield is stuck on a dead Ultron Drone. X picks up that shield and throws it with all his might, slicing through incoming flying targets until it is caught by its original owner, Captain America, backing up the Maverick Hunter. "How are you holding up?" Cap asked him.

"Fine!" X retorted, back to using his X-Buster to defeat Inner Demon goons.

Two Egg Fighters run to confront the blue heroes but suddenly find themselves immobilized by a magnetic force. That is thanks to Pyrrha's Semblance, as she and Vector rush to destroy them. One Badnik is expertly reduced to pieces by the redhead huntress's sword skills, while the other Badnik is smashed onto a horde by the crocodile brawler who then proceeds spewing out several pink bubblegum bubbles that blow up more enemies.

"These hordes are endless! They won't stop coming until the Time Eater is destroyed!" Pyrrha said to the First Avenger.

"Our best people are on the job while ours is to protect the city! Keep the fighting focus on us! Help civilians in need!" Cap ordered his team.

"You got it, Cap! They'll think twice for messing with our time! Let's get 'em!" Vector expressed, with all the heroes continuing their counter-defense against the endless enemies of time.

Meanwhile, at the Lair of the Time Eater…

A skylight is opened by the Spider-Men crawling into the warehouse that supposedly hides the entrance to the Nexus of All Realities. Infiltration seems to be a success as no alarms are triggered and no guards are in the vicinity. "Coast is clear. Not seeing any defenses." Spider-Man 2099 whispered.

Both Web Warriors drop to the locked entrance, forcing it open for the rest of their group to enter and observe this abandoned site. "Gotta hand it to the Time Eater. Nobody would find its secret base in this dumb." Classic Sonic joked.

"So what exactly are we looking for?" Mary Jane asked.

"That." Modern Tails responded whilst pointing at something quite peculiar.

Everyone notices the countless gears and clockwork parts floating around the interior. But what really caught their eyes is the gigantic inactive portal sitting dead center of this supposedly abandoned warehouse. "Oh wow! That's the biggest gate we've seen yet!" Kid Weiss commented in shock.

"And unfortunately, it's closed shut." Classic Tails noticed.

"I don't think we have time to hunt for more keys." Modern Sonic quipped.

"That's not the issue. See these gears?" Modern Tails point out seven special temporal golden gears that all look fractured, "They're broken. And they're not something we can fix easily. Perhaps outfitting each gear with a limitless power source can activate their auto repair system and open the portal to the Nexus."

"In other words, we need batteries. Have any lying around at Oscorp?" Amazing Spider-Man asked Harry.

"I should have some tritium somewhere." Harry quipped.

"Batteries are like Dust, right? And Dust are like Chaos Emeralds. Let's trying using them! There are seven gears and we have seven emeralds! They should fit!" Kid Ruby smiled with a brilliant idea that none will argue against.

"Great idea, Little Me! Let's do it!" Teen Ruby smiled proudly for her little twin.

All Chaos Emeralds are split up among the heroes to make repairing the portal go much faster. One emerald is inserted into a gear by Modern Sonic. The second emerald is inserted into another by Peter. The third emerald is placed in one by Classic Sonic. The fourth emerald was given to Miguel to put in his own gear. The fifth emerald was shared by the Tailses. Harry helps MJ insert the sixth emerald into their gear. And last but not least, the seventh emerald is placed into the final gear by Team RWBY of two eras. Everyone reunites in front of the portal after all the Chaos Emeralds were inserted. Ominously, the massive gate starts rotating and its torches light up, one by one until 12 flames are ignited. Thanks to their teamwork, the portal to the Nexus of All Realities open and the Chaos Emeralds return to Team SSSS's possession.

"Whoa…Is everyone feeling that?" Peter asked, feeling a dreadful wind blowing out of the portal.

"All the way down to my toes…" MJ shivered in fear.

"It's…scary…" Kid Blake expressed.

"A complete understatement." Adult Weiss grimaced at the immense power they are all feeling now.

Modern Tails has his Miles Electric scan the portal to decipher what they might be dealing with at the other side. Just a look at the results leaves him stumped with great horror. "These energy readings…There's no mistaking it! This leads to the Time Eater's dimension! It's inside!" He proclaimed, stating they have found the Time Eater.

"Then let's not keep it waiting. We have to defeat it and restore this world!" Peter declared sternly.

"Peter…Miguel…Good luck in there. Remember to look out for each other." MJ wish her spider-friends luck in their final battle.

"We will, MJ." Peter replied, giving her a goodbye hug before facing his future counterpart, "Ready, Future Me? Time to prove you can handle the mantle!"

"I won't disappoint. I'm eager to see if you can live up to your own legend." Miguel snarked.

"One last run, Little Me. Try and keep up!" Modern Sonic taunted his past self.

"Shouldn't be too hard with those old legs of yours." Classic Sonic teased his future self, as both hedgehogs are just as ready to end this adventure.

"Sonic, we're coming too! We'll help in any way we can!" Modern Tails expressed, with both foxes determined to help their best friends save the world.

"Nothing could make me happier! Let's finish this together, little bro!" Modern Sonic smiled with glad, as hedgehogs and foxes share a fist bump.

The Spideys, the Sonics, and the Tailses jump through the portal first with confidence in their resolve to save all of time and space. Team RWBY is next, but there's a conversation they must share with their own temporal counterparts. "What are we waiting for? Let's go help them save the world!" Kid Ruby said, excited as much as the rest of her young team for this final battle.

BGM-Transformers: Devastation OST-Welcome to the Proudstar

The older Team RWBY, however, don't seem to share their enthusiasm. "…Sorry. But we want you four to stay with Harry and MJ." Teen Ruby somberly told them, much to the kids' surprise.

"What? Why?" Kid Ruby retorted.

"This battle is going to be super dangerous. We don't want to get you hurt." Teen Ruby calmly argued with herself.

"Why is this a problem NOW? We've been helping you this whole time!" Kid Weiss retorted defiantly.

"And we appreciate it. But this battle with require all of our attention. We can't protect you and fight the Time Eater at the same time." Adult Weiss responded, trying make them understand.

"Then we can just cheer you on from the sidelines." Kid Blake suggested, not wanting to miss out.

"Yes. But it will be safer you do it out here. Not in there where the Time Eater can use you as hostages. Or worse…" Adult Blake frowned, clearly not a fan of leaving behind her twin.

"This isn't fair! After everything we've been through together, you're just gonna abandon us right before the big showdown?" Kid Yang retorted, clearly frustrated with their decision as this reminds her of her own mother abandoning her.

"It's not like that. You could die in there! And we won't be gone for long. We'll see each other again real soon, I promise." Adult Yang refuted, hurt by her younger self's words.

"This doesn't make any sense!" Kid Ruby whined, still refusing to accept their decision.

"You're still young. You'll understand one day." said Teen Ruby, doing her best to calm her kid twin.

"No! YOU don't understand!" retorted Kid Ruby, surprising her older self by shrugging her off. "You want to protect us, fine! But the city is falling apart! And if you lose, we're doomed anyway! Spidey told me I need to be brave in order to be a true hero! And YOU told me I need an unbreakable will to become a true huntress! How can we ever grow up if we're always running away?" She argued with surprising words that further dumbfounds her counterpart. "We're a team! Our bonds can do the fighting for us! The closer we stick together, the stronger that bond is! And ours is a bond beyond time! There's nothing stronger than that! Besides, we're kids! We don't listen to adults, so we'll just follow you anyway! Better to know we tagged along instead of being surprised in the middle of battle." She then smiles at her young team, "Ain't that right, team?"

"YEAH!" The other RWBY Kids shouted in total agreement with their little leader.

Now all of Team RWBY are left baffled by their counterparts. They didn't expect any of them to be so absolutely determined to see this battle through. It is true they just wanted to protect them. Just as it is true the RWBY Kids are still inexperienced. But what is now apparent is that the kids are huntresses, at least in spirit. And that is a truth that cannot be ignored no matter how hard they try. "There is no way we were THIS stubborn when we were kids." Adult Weiss sighed, facepalming while MJ laughs from the sidelines.

BGM-Spider-Man: Edge of Time OST-Fighting Anti-Venom

Unfortunately, the final decision to let them come or not will have to wait as the Blakes hear something about to ambush them from outside. "LOOK OUT!" The Blakes tackle their friends away from a monstrous force crashing from the rooftop. It doesn't surprise anyone when they stand up to see it is The Hound that has returned to growl for a final battle with the huntresses.

"You again! I'm really getting sick of you!" Teen Ruby scowled.

The furious Hound lunges at the team leader, only for its leg to be caught by Harry using superhuman strength to throw it through a wall. "Nice throw." Adult Yang complimented.

"I still have Goblin strength in me." Harry retorted, "We can't let it destroy the portal! If it does, we'll never be able to help our friends!"

"We'll watch the kids! Just go kick that thing's ass!" MJ ordered the huntresses.

The final showdown against The Hound is taking place outside at this abandoned pier. The Grimm dog recovers from Harry's attack in time to dodge Ruby's Semblance scythe slash and bounce off the incoming Blake and Yang with Spin Dashes. It targets Weiss next, who uses a glyph to reflect the beast so Blake's grappling hook could throw her at Yang's explosive punch, sending the demon crashing onto the nearest building.

"We don't want to kill you and the person you have trapped inside! Last chance! Give him up and surrender!" Ruby demanded, whilst the Hound take this moment to recover.

"Must…protect…Master…" The Hound said, morphing into its humanoid form while roaring, "Kill you…KILL ALL OF YOU!", with savage fury.

"Guess we'll just end this the hard way!" Blake snarked, readying her sword for another round with the beast.

Humanoid Hound rushes at the girls making them think he'll claw them. A deceitful tactic as it instead scatters them with stretchy arms that spin like helicopter blades, stretching one arm to then catch and slam Yang around while attacking her teammates in the process. Ruby counters a blow with a sharp slash that cuts its arm, freeing her sister. "Ladybug!" Ruby shouted, combining speeds with Blake to push back the demon with overwhelming slashes. They accidently push it back into a Time Hole it created, so it could reappear above them in its Canine form and Spin Dash them to near-unconsciousness. It then assumes its Winged form to fly away from Yang's fast punch, countered by Weiss summoning a Nevermore and forced to clash with it while the rest of Team RWBY lend support with rapidfire bullets.

"GO, TEAM RWBY! Our future selves are kicking butt!" smiled Kid Yang, cheering them on from the sidelines alongside MJ, Harry, and the other RWBY Kids.

"You and Ruby are pretty good. I couldn't have asked for better teammates." Kid Weiss smiled at the faunus she once thought as an enemy, now liking her as a friend.

"Thank you." Kid Blake reacted with sincere gratitude at her compliment, liking her as a friend too.

"You admit I'm a good leader?" Kid Ruby happily asked her new best friend.

"Don't let that get to your head." Kid Weiss sassed.

Meanwhile, the Nevermore was able to smash the Winged Hound onto a rooftop. The dark beast decides to get serious, starting with a quick morph to its humanoid form that savagely rip the bird's head off. While jumping off the building, it summons through spacetime a Purple Wisp and absorbs it to transform into the berserker Frenzy form that it took back at Tropical Resort, crashing before Team RWBY with greater roaring power, "RWWAAAAAAAAAWWWR!"

"Careful! It's more ferocious than before!" Adult Yang warned her teammates, knowing from experience how powerful it is in this state.

Frenzy Hound makes no warning with its powerful suction breath that trips up the huntresses into then being blitzed by its berserker bounces. Blake collapses, which tricks the Hound to pounce at her Fire Dust clone that explodes to knock it back and mess with its senses. Yang then mounts the beast that is struggling against her, joking, "Lemme help you wash that down!", before using her Burn Semblance to aid her strength in ripping its maw wide open and left brutally broken. Taken complete advantage of by Weiss's fireballs that force it to swallow them and experience a terrible case of heartburn, causing it to collapse into Ruby's sweeping scythe that swiftly leads to Yang uppercutting it high into the air.

Their frightening teamwork burned the Frenzy power from its systems. But there's still another Nega-Wisp power it can abuse against them. The Violet Wisp. It summons it while flung through the air, absorbing it to suddenly stop in midair and transform into the ghost-like Violet Void that is sucking everything in the pier.

"It's tearing everything apart!" Adult Weiss shouted, while she and everyone else is struggling against the demonic black hole that wants to consume them to their doom.

"We just have to hold on 'til it runs outta power!" Teen Ruby retorted.

Waiting around might not be a good idea. The more the Void Hound consumes, the bigger it gets to the point it might endanger the entire city. And the more it increases in size, the stronger its suction ability becomes. Teen Ruby struggles with all her might to not be consumed. Alas, her best was not good enough. The huntress leader loses her grip and is now on a one-way trip to oblivion.

"RUBY!" Adult Yang screamed in absolute horror.

"BIG RUBY!" Kid Yang yelled in immense concern for her big little sister.

But when Kid Ruby sees this with eyes filled with tears, a miraculous surprise happens. "NOOOOOOOOOOOO!" A brilliant white light flows from her eyes and envelops her, spreading out to the Void Hound that reacts with complete shock.

Somehow, that power cancels its Color Power and injuries the Hound so bad that it crashes into a large crater of its own making. Teen Ruby is fine. Saved at the last minute as she lands on the ground no worse for wear. "What the…?" Initially dumbfounded, Teen Ruby quickly realizes that it was her past self's hidden power that saved her life.

"Ruby? Ruby?! Are you okay?! Say something!" asked MJ, worried over the unconscious Kid Ruby in her arms.

"She's gonna be okay! Just fell unconscious from overexertion." Harry assured everyone.

"Her Silver Eyes." Adult Blake realized. "But you never awoken them that earlier." She said to her leader.

"I don't care. She just saved my life. I'm grateful." Teen Ruby smiled casually.

"Be more worried of the ramifications this will have on history! I hear killing a butterfly in the past can doom the future!" Adult Weiss angrily argues with her leader.

"Eh, what's done is done. No use whining about it." retorted Adult Yang, casually brushing off this change in history.

BGM-Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 OST-Final Boss Intro

"…UUUURRRRRRGGHH…" That weakened growl was heard by Team RWBY as they turn their attention to the crater they left the Hound in. They watch as the beast slowly crawl out of it, injured to the point that its faunus core is visible for the second time.

"It's still alive?" Adult Weiss remarked in both shock and horror, this being her first time witnessing its host.

"Not for long. Let's save its hostage before we kill it." Teen Ruby decided.

But The Hound absolutely refuses to go down without a fight. Despite its injuries, it musters up the strength for one last trick that it is certain the heroes won't see coming. "Must…protect…Master. Must protect Master." It opens behind it a Time Hole, one containing the sinister face of the Time Eater that sprout tendrils to grab and pull its pet for consumption. NEED! MORE! POWER!" It declared, unleashing a feral roar while merging with the Time Hole itself.

A dangerous energy then erupts from the fusion, unleashing ominous shockwaves that Team RWBY block against with all their might. "Uh oh! This is not looking good!" Harry frowned from the sidelines, realizing what the Hound had just done.

Suddenly, a brilliant light burst to illuminate the pier in preparation for The Hound's ultimate transformation. One by one, sections of its new body is revealed. It now resembles a crystalline anthropomorphic hedgehog crossed with the characteristics of a Grimm. It has no mouth and its white Grimm face strikingly resembles Shadow the Hedgehog. A malicious red aura was also added to its new form, complete with a clearer demonic voice that sounds both calm and haunting, "This feels so much better."

"A hedgehog? It's looking like Shadow now…" Adult Yang commented, with all the huntresses stunned at his terrifying form.

"It merged with the Time Hole to gain more power. It must be super strong now!" Harry proclaimed, right as this newly-formed Devil Hound prepares an imposing energy sphere that should erase the girls from existence, "HURRY! You gotta get outta there!"

Devil Hound fires its blast without much effort. The complete opposite of what Team RWBY is doing as they're using their weapons to block its attack with their full strength. It's a humongous struggle for the girls as it appears they have reached their limit. All hope seems lost. That is, another surprising miracle rears their Life and Death staff to easily bat the blast back at the demon.

"Don't quit now! We're just gettin' started!" A certain Legendary Huntress encouraged the girls to not give up.

Unlike the indifferent Devil Hound that stands unscathed from that ambush, Team RWBY are shocked to find themselves receiving reinforcements from five particular people they have met throughout this time-spanning journey: The Grimm Reaper from the past. Nicholas Schnee from the past. Sun Wukong from the present. Taiyang Xiao Long from the present. And Young Salem from the distant past. Huntsmen from across their world's timeline have made their grand appearance in battle. Here to help these young huntresses defeat this devil once and for all.

BGM-RWBY OST-This Will Be The Day

"Time for me to end this Age of Huntsmen." Devil Hound flaunts its newfound power by cloaking the surface of the entire pier in icky darkness. He stays floating above the assembled huntsmen and summons dark clones of itself to attack them in its stead, bombarding the whole battlefield with dozens of its creepy little shadows.

"Move!" Nicholas shouted, prompting all nine huntsmen to scatter and do whatever it takes to survive this bombardment.

"Grimm Reaper! What are you guys doing here?" asked Ruby, using her Petal Burst Semblance to swerve through as many shadows as she can.

"As if we'll let you kids have all the fun saving history. Figured you could use all the help you can get." answered Grimm Reaper, showing off her Preflexes Semblance by dodging and even deflecting some of the clones.

"Thanks! Let's finish this together, huntsmen!" Ruby smiled, taking command of this whole group.

Taiyang and Young Salem find an opening to target Devil Hound, spinkicking shadows and firing mystic bolts respectively. Both attacks easily parried by the Grimm hedgehog before it goes, "Drown in darkness!", and crashes into the ground itself with the explosive force to blow away his weak assailants. Soon after, four giant shadows that look terrifyingly monstrous form from the ground at four different points of the arena.

"Hey, hey, hey…That doesn't look good!" The startled Sun exclaimed.

"The shadows merged somehow! Still, I think we can destroy them!" Young Salem sensed.

One of the Monster Shadows fire its powerful eye laser at both Weiss and Grimm Reaper, knocking them away while giving Tai an idea. "Go for their eye!" Tai suggested to his allies.

Everyone complies, splitting up into different combos that will show these shadows they are the best huntsmen in history. One Monster Shadow hammers out a mighty shockwave that the Xiao Long duo avoids, with Yang leaping from her dad's hands and over the creature's lasers to land on its body and beat the ever-living stuffing out of its eye. The second Monster is distracted by Sun using his Via Sun Semblance to create tangible clones that fight while he's forced to sit still, helping Blake as she stabs its eye with extreme prejudice. The third Monster is also distracted, this one by Nicholas and his expert skills with a spear that deflect its eye lasers. All of this to buy his granddaughter enough time to summon an Arma Gigas that impale the beast with its giant sword. The last Monster endures a mystical barrage from Young Salem long enough to swipe her aside, only to immediately regret that decision when both Ruby and Grimm Reaper kill it with a blitzing cross slash.

Despite what they thought, the Monster Shadows won't stay dead. They respawn with more lasers that overwhelm the heroes, and will keep respawning until they can come up with a better strategy. "They're not staying dead!" Weiss noted.

"These things are still Grimm, right? Lemme lighten up their day." The quippy Grimm Reaper decided it is time to tap into her own Silver Eye power, unleashing a brilliant light that vaporize all monstrous enemies whilst returning the ground to normal. This forces Devil Hound to return to the fight as well, annoying it into attacking them all with multiple, more identical clones of itself that are reducing their Auras to near nothing. Both Sun and Blake counter its clones with their own, hoping one of them is real but none are.

"None of them were real?" Sun exclaimed.

"Only your death." The real Devil Hound appears behind both faunus, unleashing a large energy ball that should kill them. Thankfully, the Schnees come to their rescue and combine Semblances to conjure a large glyph that reflects the massive attack. Supported by Salem's magic that beams the sphere into inflicting great damage on the Hound, dazing it for Tai to knock it down from the air with a fearsome axe kick. It falls into Yang's dashing punch that pins it to a building, all so it can feel the ferocious fury of her rapidfire punches.

"Get outta here!" Yang taps into her Semblance for her final punch, causing the whole building to collapse atop of that demon.

Everyone begins to kneel from this exhausting battle. Everyone but the Silver-Eyed Huntresses. And the Devil Hound, who's explosive darkness liberates it from what was intended to be its grave. It confronts the remaining huntresses one last time, to taunt them with these cold words that sends chills down their spines, "How pointless to defy destiny. The Time Eater is complete. The Hedgehog and Spider are on the verge of failure. There is nothing you can do. Your mortal arrogance has only secured your extinction across all timelines."

Ruby glances at her past self, who is still lying unconscious after her hidden power impressed her. She then glares back at the Grimm that's been giving her and her friends nothing but trouble. Across time no less. The dog that has been helping its master destroy her precious history. She's had it with them all. "Sometimes, even when you know trying is pointless, you've gotta do what you've gotta do! WE WON'T SURRENDER OUR HISTORIES TO YOU!" She declared, both absolutely and definitely at the Time Eater's pet.

"You and me, kid! It's all or nothing!" Grimm Reaper glared with determination to end this.

Both huntresses close their eyes in order to tap into all of their strength reserves for one last combination attack. The Devil Hound knows what they are planning and is unfazed by it in the slightest. It just stands there, ready to crush their final hope with its full might. The huntresses then open their Silver Eyes that shine bright enough into creating a gigantic sphere of light around their bodies. It immediately comes in contact with Devil Hound, who stops its advance albeit with a struggle. A struggle that it intensifies with an explosion of darkness. Light and darkness engage in the clash of the ages, with huntresses and devil giving it their all. But as the Hound laughs, its power increases, slowly causing its darkness to overwhelm their light. Ruby can't take it anymore and was on the verge of giving up, until a third miraculous presence comes to aid her in her time of need.

"Don't lost hope, Ruby!"

Ruby looks to her left to find herself joined by the Huntress in Black. "Who are…?" She reacted at her curious appearance, completely unaware she is Summer Rose, her own mother, in disguise.

"You're stronger than this! I can feel it! Just making it this far is amazing on its own!" The hooded Summer shoots an encouraging look at her daughter, telling her from the bottom of her heart, "Show me, Ruby…Show me our combined power!"

Feeling reenergized with hope, Ruby retorts, "I will! Together, LET'S GO!"

Summer dramatically takes off her hood to add the full power of her own Silver Eyes into the generational combo. Mother. Daughter. Legend. Together, all three huntresses let out one mighty, "HAAAAAAAAAAAAH!", that pushes their powers to the limit. Their strengthened light surprises Devil Hound and there's nothing it can do to stop them from overwhelming the darkness, and then itself as their power is erasing it.

"This can't be! I am forever…! I am…invincible…" exclaimed Devil Hound, utterly powerless to stop itself from being erased entirely by Silver Eyes that transcend time.

At long last, The Hound is defeated. No trace of it remains, thanks to the combined efforts of the three Silver-Eyed Huntresses from three different eras. All three of them are left totally exhausted. Ruby especially since she was fighting the longest. The rest of Team RWBY came to their leader's aid, helping her stand and getting her to smile as all four girls share a victorious fist bump. The scarlet huntress then turns to Summer, who already put on back her hood to continue hiding her true identity. Still, that doesn't Ruby from smiling at her a grateful, "Thank you."

"You're welcome." Summer responded with her own proud smile.

"…What happened…?" Kid Ruby groaned, groggy while awakening from unconsciousness, "When did I go to sleep…?"

BGM-Mega Man ZX OST- Sky High - Grand Nuage (Tunes Ver.)

"Ruby, you're awake! You just missed the most incredibly awesome battle in the history of ever!" Kid Yang excitedly told her little sister.

"Aw man, seriously?! Now you guys HAVE to take me to the Nexus because this is so not fair!" Kid Ruby complained to the huntsmen.

Teen Ruby chuckles, "Okay, okay, you kids can come along. Just promise us you'll find a safe place to watch in there."

"Okay!" The RWBY Kids promised wholeheartedly.

"We better hurry! If what that thing said is true, then Sonic and Spidey are in serious trouble!" Harry said.

"I know. And I have a plan that will help them. I just need everyone's help. And I do mean everyone!" Teen Ruby proclaimed to the whole group.

"We're all ears. Just make it quick, team leader." Adult Weiss smiled, just as interested as everyone else to hear her strategy.

Ruby talks, while her mother watches with a subtle proud expression that is only noticed by a significant other that knows the truth about her. "You must be surprised. She's grown up to be a lot like you." said Taiyang, approaching his time-displaced lover's side for a private conversation with a smile.

"Sucks that I missed a lot of her birthdays." Summer quipped, not bothering to hide herself from him as she expected him to decipher her identity behind the black cloak. Still, she feels guilty over the lies she told him and her presumed death in the future, prompting her to express an apology, "…Tai. I'm…"

"You don't need to say anything." Taiyang cuts her off. "Being a huntsman comes with a lot of risk. You understood them that night. Our kids understand them better than ever before. Years passed and I'm still having trouble accepting…some things." He solemnly frowned, implying that he still hasn't completely gotten over her death.

"I'm sorry." Summer apologized.

"It's alright. If my time here taught me anything, is that it is time to move on. To be greater than the past, for the sake of the future. At the very least, I'm happy we get to spend time together one last time." Tai said, giving her a comforting smile that cheers her up.

"Me too." Summer nods with her own cheery smile. "Let's cherish these next few moments together. Help our kids save their friends and the world." She declared.

"Thought you'd never ask!" Tai retorted, just as a confident Ruby just finished explaining her master plan that will save not just Sonic and Spider-Man, but also defeat the Time Eater and save their histories in every world.
