Special Place

Superman and Wonder Woman comic/animation references.

Today is going to be special. Clark can feel it. He and Diana didn't take any missions and took the day off from work. Clark just wanted to make sure everything went according to plan for Diana.

Clark smiled as his cell phone starts ringing.

"Good Morning, Di."

"Morning, Love. I thought you said you took the day off? I'm a little disappointed I didn't wake up with you next to me."

He laughed. "I did but I'm just making sure my plan for us goes smoothly."

"What exactly do you have planned?"

"I can't tell you now, it's a surprise."

"Oh really? Well this should be interesting."

"Of course. It's something simple but I know you will like it. Did you see what I left for you on the coffee table?"

"No...what is it?"

"Not telling. Go see and I'll talk to you later."

"Kal?"

"I love you, too, Di."

Clark hung up the phone as he smiled and walked into the Kent house.

Diana rolled her eyes and smirked. She walked downstairs to the living room.

She noticed a bouquet of flowers and a card on the table. She picked up the flowers seeing all but one was real. She found it strange but loved them still.

She smiled picking up the card and read it as it simply said:

"I will love you til the last flower dies..."

-Clark

After reading the card, Diana's smile grows wider. Leave it up to Clark to make her day.

"Oh, Clark...how I love you so."

She then got a text from him.

My Sun: Farm house at noon.

She pondered for a moment trying to figure out what he was up to. She shook her head slightly having no idea what he was planning and went to get herself ready for the day.

Noon: Smallville

Upon arriving to the Kent house, Diana smiled. "Clark?" She called walking in the front door.

He was no where in site.

"Kal?" She called again.

Still no answer.

The silence she stood in was making her feel slightly awkward and very alone so she walked into the kitchen. She took in a deep breath and closed her eyes, leaning over the counter top.

Hands on her shoulders quickly snapped her out of her calm state, startling her and making her whole body tense. She tried to turn around but the hands held her firmly in position. She opened her mouth to say something, but got nothing out before the person behind her whispered; "Relax, it's just me."

Diana exhaled. His hands drifted gently from their place on her shoulders down her arms until they rested on her own hands atop the kitchen surface. His chest was against her back and his face so close to the back of her head. She could feel him breathing. He bent down slightly to reach her level as he twined his fingers with hers and rested his chin on her shoulder. She tilted her head to the side and rested it on his.

"Why did you want to meet here?"

"Well for what I had planned I had to set up a couple of things."

"What did you do?"

Clark smiled. "Not going to spoil the surprise."

Diana almost melted. She sighed closing her eyes once again with pure bliss.

Clark removed his hands from Diana's. Her body screamed for his touch to return but her mouth stayed shut.

"Remember when I first brought you here?"

"You spent almost 2 hours convincing me to put on a pair of glasses," Diana said turning around to face him.

"And now you have a pair for almost every outfit," he teased.

"It's your fault sense you started buying them for me first."

Clark laughed and wrapped his arms around her.

"You know with the different designs and styles, not even you will be able to recognize me."

"You think so?"

Diana nodded and grinned.

Clark stepped back a bit looking her up and down. He shook his head. "Nope. Not going to happen."

Clark moved back closer trailing his hands slowly down her sides. "I can pick you out no matter what you are wearing."

"Mmm...Kal, you know you shouldn't start this kind of thing when we can't finish right away..."

Clark grinned slyly. "What we are doing today...we can finish anytime."

"What are we doing anyway?"

Clark took her hand. When they walked out the house, started to fly up, pulling Diana with him.

"Kal?"

Clark smiled. "We are just going to the field."

Diana smiled and flew up with him.

The flew a few feet to the center of the field.

"Look down, Di."

As she looked down, she gasped in excitement. "A picnic!"

"Yeah! It's a good day for one. And it's just us."

They flew down and sat on the large blanket. Clark started taking everything out the basket.

"Ok so I know how much you liked the chicken salad so I made sandwiches with that. I have some fruit, your favorite chips, original and I..." Clark glanced up at her to see her staring and smiling. "What is it?" he asked. "Is it too much?"

"No not at all, Love." Diana leaned forward and kissed him. "This is just really sweet and relaxing. I love it."

"I just want to keep making you happy, Diana."

Diana moved closer cupping his face with both hands.

"And you do, Kal. Things like this is what makes me happy. As long as I'm with you, I will always be happy and so much more."

"I love you, Diana."

"I know," she grinned and pulled him into a kiss. "I love you, too," she whispered pulling away slightly from their kiss.

"I think I did get too excited and went a little overboard with the food."

Diana laughed. "That's alright. It's all perfect."

They spent most of the time talking and eating.

Diana was glowing.

The rays of sunlight illuminated her skin as she brought a piece of watermelon to her lips. She looked up at him, her blue eyes sparkling as she graced him with a smile; Clark was rendered momentarily speechless by her beauty.

She playfully tapped him on the chin to close his mouth, "You're doing it again."

"Doing what?" he said with a sly grin.

"Staring..."

Even now, after five years of being lovers, she often felt flustered under the heat of his gaze. She'd never had anyone observed her so intensely, never seen so much love reflected in a simple look.

She watched the irises of his eyes darken; she knew that look. The hunger she saw in there was enough to make goose bumps appear on her arms.

Her body's reaction was obvious to Clark as he mapped out the silhouette of her breasts under the thin blouse; before he leaned into her lips, tasting the sweetness of the watermelon in a chaste kiss. His lips soon parted to invite her tongue to nestle in a passionate embrace.

He grasped hold of her hips, pulling her towards him, bringing her to straddle him before aggressively kissing her. His hands fumbled against her, artlessly entangling his fingers in her hair. She moaned against him when she felt his hardness through his pants.

Diana broke away from his lips for Clark to take off his shirt. She kissed his collarbone, letting her hands trace designs in the fine hair on his chest.

She smiled, biting her bottom lip and kissed him hard.

One hand cradled her head while the other one pushed away the picnic basket as he laid her out on the blanket. She looked downright angelic under his sinful touch.

"This is…what you had…in mind - ," she panted between kisses, "when you said...we can finish anytime. And it's...just us..."

"Exactly what I had in mind," he breathed, releasing her swollen lips to nuzzle in the crook of her neck. "Having you on this blanket like this, is my kind of picnic."

The husky tone in his voice made her breath catch. It wasn't the first time she'd been caught off guard by the depth of his passion; he'd surprised her with a spontaneity that had led to unimaginable pleasures.

He kissed his way down her chest, undoing the buttons of her blouse as he licked every inch of uncovered skin. He knew the enticing sweet and salty tang of her warm body as she lay underneath him would remind him of summer afternoons for as long as he lived.

The red bra peeking out of her shirt contrasted with the olive tone of her skin and the colors of the field surrounding them. Enthralled, Clark watched as her breasts strained against the crimson lace and her breath quickened in anticipation. He hovered over her slight form, his movement stilled, afraid that by touching her he might somehow break the magic of the moment.

Diana looked up from under heavy lids, seeking his gaze in a silent invitation to touch her.

With a reverence only reserved for her, he placed his strong hands on the skin of her stomach, slowly caressing his way up to the cleavage of her breasts. As always, Clark was mesmerized by her voluptuousness.

With torturous delicateness he unhooked the red material taking it off her and cupped the soft mounds of flesh. Her head rolled back in a guttural cry as he pinched the pert nipples between his fingers. His mouth followed suit as he devoured the peaks with an insatiable need. Her hips raised in response, grinding against his bulge in a delicious agony.

"Oh!" Diana gasped out, cradling his head against her, arching against him.

She was a magnificent goddess coming alive under his touch, once the fruit he had forbidden himself, she was his solace. He wanted nothing more than to show her how much he loved her. She was life's greatest gift to him, and with each caress he promised to cherish her for the rest of his life.

He relished the subdued moans emerging from the depth of her throat as she twisted underneath him in a futile attempt to rid herself of her pants. He was never as turned on than when he was able to bring her to such a state of carefree abandonment.

Her eyes never wavered from his, her lips twitching in a silent plea, as she watched him reach for the zipper of her jeans. Her stomach fluttered with anticipation and she could feel her heartbeat accelerate as he brought it down in a painfully slow gesture. In one swift movement he liberated her from her denim confinement and she encircled him with her sexy legs.

His hands wandered over her body, rubbing circles on her skin in an erotic massage before resuming their position on her upper thighs. He fingered the edge of the lacy underwear, the sole barrier between him and his feast, as his fingers skimmed over her most sensitive parts.

"Take it off," she pleaded, her hands coming down to tug at the flimsy material.

He motioned for her to lift her hips, grazing her thighs with the lacy fabric as he slid the red garment off, tossing it aside to join her discarded pants.

Clark sat back on his heals to admire the perfect femininity of her nude body, her curved flesh flushed with desire.

"You're so beautiful," he whispered.

Her body trembled under the intensity of his gaze and with barely a hint of his touch, her legs fell open.

"So...so beautiful..." he repeated in a grumble against her skin, kissing the little sensitive area near her hip. As he neared her thighs, every kiss began to feel like electricity, coursing up her body.

Her hands came to rest on his head, and her fingers entangled in his hair as he delved into her core, clinging to her like a bee to a flower.

She unleashed a series of moans as he rolled his tongue against her delicate flesh, his mouth caressing her with an intimate knowledge that never ceased to amaze her.

She moved wildly underneath the boldness of his mouth, her spine arching with each probe of his tongue, her cries becoming louder with each passing minute.

She tightened the grip on his head, her nails digging in his scalp as his mouth closed over her fleshy nub, a shot of immeasurable pleasure ran through her whole being. She held his head firmly to her center, rotating her pelvis erratically, aching for release.

She gasped as she felt the thickness of two fingers deep within her, releasing her breath only as he started thrusting them in a slow and deliberate motion. The pace of his thrusts in sync with the relentlessness of his mouth was almost too much for her to bear.

Clark listened with awe to her increasingly ragged breaths. Relinquishing the apex of her lower lips with one last swipe of his tongue, he kept his fingers pressed against her most sensitive spot as he felt her muscles clamp around his fingers. Her chest rose with the spasms of her climax and he couldn't help but kiss the fine sheen of sweat gathered there. He licked his way up, pausing briefly at the hollow of her throat before claiming her lips, sharing her essence in a deep kiss.

They held each other's gaze for a moment in a silent declaration of their love; the rhythmic pattern of their heavy breathing slowly giving way to the natural sounds of the field.

Clark smiled once again, stealing another taste of her lips before his gaze roamed over her delicate features, catching sight of the picnic basket in the corner of his eyes. He nodded towards the container. "Are you still hungry?"

She feigned a look behind her, stroking his disheveled hair. "I'm pretty sure that what I'm craving right now can't be found in that basket."

"You think?"

"I know..." she said as she rolled him around, pleased to have her original throne of being on top of him back and kissed him deeply as she unzipped and took off his pants.

She liked looking down at him like this, sitting astride him, watching his hot eyes roam up and down her body. She loved when he took control, but there was something intentionally powerful about returning the favor.

He was hard and ready for her, which pleased her immensely. Wet heat pooled against her thighs as she rubbed herself against him. He groaned almost painfully, his fingers digging into her backside, and she wanted to laugh at how frenzied he looked. It would be a short laugh, she realized when he fiercely sucked her throat. She felt just as desperate, if not more.

They both gasped when she sheathed herself upon him. Clark couldn't seem to stop kissing her—her lips, her face, her eyelids. Diana rocked gently onto him, building their pace, moaning on how it felt to have him so deep inside her. Clark's head rocked back as he groaned again in pleasure and she quickened her pace. Clark arched up to meet her as Diana took him again and again, increasingly hot need boiling inside her.

She felt like she was going to explode when he whispered her name over and over again.

"Ah, Di...Diana..."

"Kal. Oh yes...Love..."

She rode him harder and faster, her breaths becoming more shallow and erratic as she sank herself deeper and deeper onto him. His left hand held its place on her hip as his right hand went to the place between them gently stroking her core in time with her movements, wanting her to find pleasure first.

Her fingers dug into his shoulders as she muffled her scream against his neck, her walls contracting all around him. She trembled violently as she came to her release, her lover following quickly after, both choking out each other's names.

Diana leaned against his shoulder, catching her breath. Clark wrapped his arms around her, slowly running his finger tips up and down her back and kissed the top of her head.

"You know...I picked this very spot for a reason..."

"Really? Why?"

"It's very significant to us."

Diana looked up at him with a smile.

"Remember, this was the spot where we stood after I took you to the diner. I told you why I am who I am. I told you about my parents. This was the spot, where I took your hand, silently asking you to trust me and give us a chance. You accepted and we had our second kiss."

"I can never forget that day, Kal."

"Well...I wanted to make this spot even more significant for us."

Diana sat up letting Clark sit up. He reached over to the picnic basket and took out a small, black velvet box.

Diana could only gasp as the tears already started to fall down her cheeks. "Clark..." Her eyes wide and covered her mouth with her hands.

Clark looked at her dead in the eye. He took her by the hand and said, "Diana, we both know from the moment we met, there was an instant attraction. It took us some time to act upon that and now here we are. We've gone through so much together. You are my best friend, Di. The number one person I trust the most. I love you with all my heart. You are my heart. I promise I will give you the best and will continue to do my best to make you happy and keep that beautiful smile on your face. I want a family with you, Diana." He took a deep breath and opened the box. "Diana, will you do me the honor and marry me?"

"Oh Kal! Yes of course I'll marry you!" She nodded, tears still streaming down her face.

Diana cupped his face and pulled him in a passionate kiss. Clark responded immediately and pulled the ring out the box. He slipped it on her finger as they both smiled against each other's lips.

Pulling away from their kiss, Clark lifted her hand up to kiss it.

"It's so beautiful. I love it!"

"Beautiful ring, for my beautiful queen. You deserve nothing but the best, Diana."

"I already have the best and more. My Kal."

Clark smiled, laying her down on the blanket and caressed her cheek. He wiped the tears from her eyes and leaned down to kiss her softly. Diana wrapped her arms around his neck and her legs around his waist, deepening the kiss.

"I love you so much."

"I love you, too. I can't wait to be Mrs. Prince-Kent."
