Love's Helpers
BatCat is OTP #2, decided to give it a go thanks to a request. First time writing them, though, so hopefully I've done okay. :)
Gotham City Banquet Hall...
Ms. Diana Prince walked in with a smile. She wore this gorgeous backless dress that hugged her curves.
Reporter Clark Kent eyed her from across the room. He straightened his tie and adjusted his glasses before walking over to her.
"Good Evening, Ms. Prince. You look lovely."
"Thank you, Mr. Kent. And you, handsome as always."
Clark flashed his charming smile, then took her left hand, raising it to kiss the back of it.
"That's a beautiful engagement ring..."
"Thank you. My fiancé had it specially made for me."
"I expected as such. You are a very special woman, Ms. Prince."
Diana smirked. "I never would've taken you as the kind of man that would try to charm...even seduce an engaged woman."
Clark smiled and shook his head slightly. "Oh no, never would I do that...with any other woman." Clark looked her up and down. "But with you, Ms. Prince, I can't seem to help myself."
Diana stepped closer reaching up to whisper in his ear. "10 minutes..."
"Hmm...that will do for now."
Diana gave him a seductive smile as she turned to walk away and leave out the back doors to a secluded hallway.
Clark smirked watching her and after a few seconds of staring, he followed her.
Once they were down the hall near the darkest corner, Clark grabbed Diana by her waist pulling her into a passionate kiss and backed her into the wall.
They decided to worry later about the repercussions of having their sexual rendezvous in a public hallway.
"Di…Ms. Prince..." he whispered.
She sighed as he said her name, reaching down to unzip him, needing to feel his hardness in her hand. He gasped as she encircled him. Their faces rubbed against each other and he gently took her mouth with his, sliding his lips against hers, feeling her respond, tasting the bit of her tongue she lightly let slip against his.
He pushed up her dress, his fingers reaching under it and tugging at the delicate fabric of her panties, pushing them to the side,
She almost whined as he tease her, by running his length against her wetness.
She kissed his jawline, and she whispered "Ka...Clar... …" She moaned. "I want you...inside me… now. "
He planted his right hand against the wall. Diana draped her toned left leg over his left arm, exposing her wet heated core.
When he finally thrust into her, she sighed of relief. Her head thrown back against the wall, and dug her hands into his soft hair, her fingers tangling in his curls. Clark's lips fastened on her throat. Her breathless voice turning him on.
"Mr...Gods yes!"
Diana gripped his shoulders. She couldn't get enough of him.
"This feels so good..." Diana managed to say.
Clark rammed into her making her arch her back.
He pinned her hand to the wall with his own, entwining their fingers as he felt himself racing towards release. Diana bucked against him, meeting his every thrust, both of them grunting and gasping in time to their rhythm.
Clark groaned at the feel of her walls tightening around him.
Diana's abdomen coiled tighter and tighter as her release neared, and she cried out, muffling her scream against his neck as he brought her to her thundering end.
She came in forceful, powerful waves of ecstasy again and again.
Clark tried to slow down, thrusting through Diana's orgasm but he couldn't and with a few more sporadic thrusts, he came deep inside her, for what seemed like endless moments. Diana shivered at the feel.
Clark pressed his forehead against hers, their hearts racing and their breathing ragged. Diana captured Clark's mouth with hers, kissing him softly as she slowed her movements, his member still twitching inside her.
She smiled when it was done, shyly looking up at him heavy-lidded. Clark slowly let go of her leg, sliding out of her.
Clark kissed Diana again as he was tucking himself back in and Diana helped him zip up his pants and buckle his belt.
Clark gently reached to push her dress down for her. Diana smiled, raising a hand up to run her thumb across his cheek and sighed as Clark turned his face to kiss her palm.
"Always such the gentleman."
"Well no matter where we are, I have to make sure from start to finish, you are taken good care of."
Diana bit her lip. "Lets go, Mr. Kent. We are still at risk of getting caught here..."
As Diana was about to turn to walk away, Clark grabbed her by her waist pulling her back to him. Diana turned around with a frown.
Clark smirked. "Ms. Prince, I have to have just one more kiss from you." Clark kissed her passionately.
Diana closed her eyes slowly wrapping her arms around his neck, kissing him back.
Banquet Room
Billionaire playboy, Bruce Wayne arrived with his date Selina Kyle.
"Mr. Wayne, glad you have finally shown up," Councilman Tenison greeted. "Ah, and who is your lovely date for this evening?"
Selina slightly arched her brow. Bruce smiled slightly and put his hand over Selina's.
"This lovely lady is Selina Kyle."
"Pleasure to meet you Ms. Kyle."
"Councilman."
There was a moment of awkward silence.
"Well I best get back to the Mrs. Mr. Wayne, don't forget about the donations taken later this evening. I'm sure you will be mighty generous."
"Yes, of course, Councilman."
"Good! Good!" he nodded. "Have a great evening." He walked away with a smile.
"So that's all I am? A date for this evening? So expect another 'lovely date' next week on your arm?"
"Selina, I don't think that's what he meant."
"Bruce...that's exactly what he meant because that's all you've ever done."
Selina was about to walk away but Bruce quickly grabbed her arm and pulled her back to him.
"Doesn't matter what he or anyone else says or thinks. I know and you know what you are to me."
Selina rolled her eyes and sighed. "I'm already getting tired and annoyed with this. Where will your generous donation go? Surely in his already no good greedy pockets."
"Selina, stop it. Let's just enjoy the night, okay?"
"Whatever, billionaire playboy." Selina looked off then spotted Clark and Diana. "Oh look, your friends are here."
Bruce took a deep breath.
"Don't worry. I'll be the good lovely date on your arm," she said sarcastically.
"Selina..."
She smiled and reached up to kiss his cheek. "Relax, Bruce."
Bruce exhaled as they walked over to them.
"Clark, Diana."
"Bruce-"
"That is an amazing ring, Diana!" Selina looked up at Bruce with a smirk as if hinting at something.
"Oh..." Diana smiled raising her hand. "Thank you!"
Selina looked closely. "This is no ordinary ring. Custom made."
Bruce rolled his eyes seeing the slight smirk on Clark's face. For weeks, Clark had been bragging about making the ring, now with the compliments, he was feeling overly proud.
Diana smiled glancing at Clark. "Yes! I'm very impressed, Selina. You know so much about jewelry."
"Well, as the cliche goes, diamonds are a girl's very best friend. I can't resist something so precious." Selina patted Bruce on his chest. "Why don't you and Clark go get Diana and I a glass, while we have a girl's chat?"
Bruce quirked his brow. "Sure...?"
Clark winked at Diana.
The first time Selina and Diana met formally, they were a bit stand off-ish. Selina boldly admitted to thinking Diana would be snooty, while Diana questioned Selina's motives. They took slight shots at each other but having a long conversation they ended up as friends to eventually Diana feeling as Selina to be an honorary sister.
"Well...well, Princess, still the perfect flawless couple..." Selina said watching Clark and Bruce walk away. "The Super and The Wonder."
"No not at all perfect or flawless, Selina. Clark and I have had trying times."
"What?" Selina questioned shocked.
Diana smiled. "It's not hard to believe. But as any couple, we work through it."
"You have patience."
"As do you. I see that Bruce is more...softer, open even with you. And I'm not talking about him being Bruce Wayne. I mean even when he is under the cowl too. He is actually in a good place. Happy in his own way because of you."
"I appreciate that, Diana. In Bruce's own way he does show some care. I am in this state of whatever of going with the flow yet I will still let it be known what I won't be bothered with and tolerate."
Selina was a bit surprised by Diana's statements, complimentary however, Selina still couldn't help but feel a small level of doubt.
Diana could sense something is wrong. She smiled. "Stay strong, sister."
2 days after that night...
Superman and Batman went out on patrol but Bruce seemed preoccupied.
Superman frowned. "What's up with you, Bruce?"
He hesitates for a moment not wanting to talk about it. Then let out a low sigh.
"Selina left."
"What? Why?"
"I don't know."
"When?"
"Last night. Haven't seen nor heard from her since."
"What didn't you do?"
"I. Don't. Know."
"As the world's greatest detective, I expect you to have figured it out. So is it that you really don't know or you are in denial."
Bruce narrowed his eyes. "I went to her apartment. She obviously knew I would." He sighed again. "Selina and I got into an argument after the banquet. She threatened to leave but I believed she really wouldn't. Nothing more than an empty threat."
"Really, Bruce? Look, you know what Diana and I went through-"
"What goes on between you and Diana can't be compared."
"Shut up and listen. I'm not comparing anything. What I'm saying is that with any relationship, you can't keep yourself distant, Bruce. You seriously need to work on that if you truly love Selina."
Bruce turned his head slightly.
"You love her, don't you?"
Bruce was silent.
"Answer the question," Clark demanded.
"You already know my answer."
"Then go find her and get her back dammit."
Selina and Bruce have been together, yes on/off, but still longer than Diana and Clark.
Bruce wanted to get serious and Selina accepted with caution. Now that he has started acting distant and questionable, Selina isn't sure of Bruce's intent. The "chase" thing was over and Selina wanted to know where do they go from here.
Same night: 1 am
Clark laid in bed looking up at the ceiling thinking. Diana walked out the bathroom with a towel wrapped around her.
Before getting in bed, she took it off, laying it on the foot of the bed.
Fully naked she got under the sheet and on top of Clark, straddling him. She smiled and leaned down kissing him lightly. Clark placed his hands on her thighs rubbing slowly back and forth.
Diana moaned pulling away from their kiss. She titled her head and slightly frowned.
"Darling, what's wrong?"
"I spoke with Bruce about Selina."
"What did he say?"
"She left and he has no idea where she is."
"Well I do."
"Wait, what?"
Diana giggled. "I'm sorry, Love, I should've told you earlier but I was waiting for you to tell me if you two spoke about it."
"So you two planned this or something?"
"No, Love, I didn't know until after she called from the hotel she is staying in. She told me about their argument. She isn't sure of Bruce's intent."
"He loves her, Diana, but his expression of that needs major work. They've been at this for far too long."
"I believe they are both ready to settle down. No more of the "chasing" game. It's time to be serious but neither knows how to approach it."
"When it comes to this kind of thing, well all get stuck, huh?"
Diana smiled. "Love isn't easy. They might think they can act tough and all but love is much much more tougher."
"So what do we do?"
"I'll speak with Selina, you with Bruce. Get them together to talk."
"Alright. Sounds easy enough. But remember how stubborn those two are."
"They'll do it. Even if we have to drag them together ourselves."
"So I see my Goddess of War will now be the Goddess of Love?"
Diana giggled. "No, no...this is just a one time thing helping our friends. Eros will surely not allow any one to take his title." Diana leaned down and kissed the middle of Clark's chest. "But I can be your personal Goddess of Love..."
Clark smirked and quickly flipped her over on her back, making Diana squeal and giggle. Clark wrapped Diana's legs around his waist.
"You are already my Goddess of Love, my queen. Always will be...for eternity."
Clark kissed her passionately then trailed kisses down her neck going slowly further down her body.
"Mmmhhh...oh yes, Kal..."
The next night, Gotham City
Superman and Wonder Woman sat on the edge of the roof of a building a bit distant but close enough to hear what was happening.
"You gave him a little pep talk, didn't you?"
"I tried my best..."
Diana kissed Clark's cheek. "Let's see if he listened as he should've."
Batman stood looking out to really nowhere.
"Make this quick. I have places to be."
"No you don't and I'm not letting you leave."
Selina raised her eye brows. "Oh really? Why? Because you'll have one less chick on your arm, playboy?"
"You know me better than that."
"Do I?"
"Selina..."
"Bruce..."
Bruce sighed and grabbed her by her arm close to him.
"Listen. Everyone I'm close to gets hurt in some way..."
"I've been hurt many times. I can't take care of myself. I'm a big girl."
Bruce shook his head. "But for me, Selina, I need you to be protected. I need to protect you. I...I love you."
"Bruce..."
"I'm not done."
Selina was taken aback. She can sense and hear the sincere emotion in his voice. This was the first time, in a very long time.
"You aren't going anywhere and I'm not letting you because I want you to marry me."
"So direct..." Selina said raising her brow.
Bruce took out the ring
Selina was yet again taken aback by the beauty of the ring. It was a gorgeous white gold diamond engagement ring featuring a 3 carat pear-shaped center with a total of 0.38 carats on the diamond shank. Selina looked closer to see a cat shaped engraved in the diamond.
"Nice touch, Mr. Wayne. But I have to be honest...this is the corniest thing you've ever done and said. I know you had help given how you were struggling still to say what you've said."
Clark and Diana looked at each other shocked.
"The effort is cute. You know a way to my heart is with a diamond and how can I, being who I am, turn away from a diamond as exceptional as this..." she teased.
Bruce slipped the ring on her finger and yanks her into a passionate kiss.
Clark and Diana smiled feeling accomplished.
"So are you sure you won't take the Goddess of Love mantle?"
Diana turned to him and wrapped her arms around his neck.
"No no, my love as I said last night I am only your Goddess of Love."
Clark nodded. "True but you are still so so much more, Diana. I love you."
"And I love you too."
They both leaned in for a kiss but Clark paused.
"We should go. Bruce and Selina need their privacy now. You know the rooftop thing."
Diana smiled taking his hand flying up. "And we have our Fortress thing."
Clark smirked and pulled Diana into his arms, picking her up bridal style. He kissed her passionately as he flew off heading to the Fortress.
