I don't not own anything related to Dinosaur King. Dinosaur King is owned by Sunrise, Shout Factory, and 4kidsTV.

The Jurassic Period was alive and well. Near a lake, a Shunosaurus browsed from the trees, a herd of Lexovisaurus grazed nearby, some Camptosaurus lumbered across the plains, and a pack of Yangchuanosaurus stalked them

Everything was normal for the prehistoric wildlife.

Until there was a surge of light.

The surge created a wormhole and out came the Alpha Craft. It parked itself on the ground and once the cover opened up, three queasy looking humans swayed back and forth in their seats.

"Well, that was quite the ride." Ursula said sickly.

"Maybe next time, how about we don't use that lever." Ed suggested, also queasy.

Zander looked at the time period on the monitor. "At least we are in a time period. Says the Jurassic era." He covered his mouth, feeling his lunch come up.

"Well, let's hurry up with our mission," Ursula triumphantly said before feeling her stomach churning. Instantly, she threw up outside the cockpit. Followed by Ed and Zander as well, hurling on their respective sides.

Luckily for them, there were not any dinosaurs nearby or they would have been disgusted by the action themselves.

DK

It was the afternoon in Sanjo City and the D-Team was on their way to the D-Lab. Receiving a message from Reese to meet them there, the Stone Holders were confused but still went away.

"What do you think Reese called us here for?" Zoe asked.

"Well, there's no signal so I don't understand what it could be." Max said.

"Maybe my dad found another card?" Rex thought aloud, "It would be helpful in the long haul."

Once the D-Team reached the D-Lab, Reese greeted them. "Good. You got my message."

"What's the deal, sis?" Zoe asked.

"There is something you need to see." Reese explained. She gestured to the newly discovered door, which puzzled the kids.

"Has that door always been there?" Rex wondered aloud.

"No, it's more… new." Reese cryptically said. She placed a fingerprint before the door opened up and let her and the others in. What was within was something that took their breath away.

There was a panel that had many slots in them that were large enough to place the cards inside. And there was a large window. The team looked out the window and were surprised to see a huge simulated room that looked just like the days the dinosaurs ruled the earth like the one Time Warp battle they had.

It was a mix of many biomes which were grassy plains, a savanna, a jungle, rivers, forests, beaches, a huge lake with a waterfall, and enough space for what looked like a whole herd of dinosaurs.

"What is this?" Max asked as he looked out the window to the large room. Wanting to investigate further, he called back Terry and Chomp and placed his cards into a slot. Immediately, they materialized full-sized in the large room and began to look around. Rex and Zoe followed in sync, summoning their partners to full size.

"You guys think the stones made this place for the other dinosaurs we save to live?" Rex theorized.

"That seems most likely," Reese deduced as she adjusted her glasses, "It's possible since now that the stones in your possessions collectively formed this place for the dinosaurs."

"This is so cool!" Max said with stars in his eyes. Leaning over the rail, the D-Team dinosaurs were doing their own agendas. "It's like our own dinosaur museum or zoo!"

"I have to admit it's pretty cool." Rex added with a smile. "That way we don't keep our dinosaurs confined as cards. Plus we can observe their behaviors and such."

"Maybe we should let the other dinosaurs out too!" Max immediately said. He was eager to see all the dinosaurs they have so far interacted with.

"Maybe we should hold out on that." Rex said, "We have collected a combination of herbivores and carnivores. What if the carnivores want to eat herbivores?"

Zoe put that into consideration. "I guess that's a good point. But then again, we get to see Maiasaura and her baby again!"

"That's what I mean." Rex chimed in. "What if the Utahraptor or Suchomimus wants to try to snack on the infant? Not to mention, if we keep bringing back dinosaurs, we'll have to feed them all. And they'll probably eat more than Max."

"Hey!" The brunette said, offended by the jab.

Luckily, Reese provided support. "No need for that." She gestured to three different troughs. "We have troughs for plants, meat, and fish-eaters. Should you encounter any other dinosaurs that have different dietary needs, we can always add another."

The kids nodded at the statement. "I guess that takes care of the food problem. Though, how are we supposed to get them all together?" Max reminded them. "I mean Chomp, Ace, and Paris have gotten used to each other's company. And I guess the same for Terry, Spiny, and Tank. But the wild dinos we've battled? Not sure they wouldn't get along easily. And what about vengeful dinosaurs?"

He didn't want to think dinosaurs held grudges. He pictured the Saltasaurus and Chomp butted heads then the Carcharodontasaurus or Suchomimus snarling at Ace from a distance.

"There is also a separate area," Reese revealed. "Perhaps we should send in the herbivores first." The D-Team nodded at that and began to introduce the dinosaurs.

DK

The first one was the Saltasaurus now named Hissy. Hissy walked careful into the Sanctuary, observing his new surroundings. He approached the lake and dipped his head before noticing Chomp nearby.

A wary bellow erupted from the Saltasaurus throat while the Triceratops met the sauropod eye-to-eye. Off to the side, Spiny was wondering about and Hissy noticed him too.

Hissy was prepared for a fight against one of them but Spiny ignored him. Puzzled, the Saltasaurus slowly ignored the 'spined lizard' and dipped his head to drink.

Walking over, Chomp was in the mood for a drink as well. Hissy saw this and backed up before the ceratopsian took a sip of water. After a while, the Saltasaurus noticed no hostility in the area and drank in peace.

Maybe this new life here would not be as bad.

DK

Mia the Maiasaura kept her baby, Liliac, close to her. The new area was far different than where she came from. The Maiasaurua continued on her way and carefully approached some ferns.

Mia saw Ace and Paris laying around as they watched Terry and Spiny do a mock battle. Mia was about to back away when Lilac jumped out of the bushes, blissfully unaware.

The purple hadrosaur went into a defensive mode, seeing her newborn around the carnivores but Paris slowly approached Lilac. The parasaur just watched the hatchling walk around happily between her legs.

Mia, seeing that her baby was not in danger, emerged from the bushes and made her way over. Paris saw the mother approach and backed away from the Maiasaura. Ace, Terry, and Spiny also backed away, respecting Mia's boundaries.

The purple hadrosaur let out a gentle call, understanding that her child was safe with Paris. But she shot a wry glance at the carnivores. Luckily, Paris vouched for them which made Mia relax somewhat but still kept Lilac behind her for the time being.

DK

The second Bolt the Styracosaurus was summoned, Chomp walked up carefully. The Triceratops was cautious, just in case the Alpha Gang's influence still controlled his 'brother in horns'.

However, Bolt was freed from mind control and 'shook' horns with Chomp, like a greeting between the two ceratopsians.

Bolt remembered Ace and Paris, so he gave a low grunt acknowledging them as friends.

But seeing Terry and Spiny, the Styracosaurus snorted and pawed the ground, challenging them to a rematch no doubt. The smaller ceratopsian prepared to engage them before Chomp intervened.

Confused at the action, the Triceratops explained their new arrangement which caused Bolt to stand down but not before giving them a warning glare. Other than that, Bolt found his time at the Sanctuary to be peaceful and relaxing.

DK

Lumbering across the Sanctuary, Dozer the Ankylosaurus was looking for some shade. The brown armored dinosaur was more lazy and cranky. He eventually came across a nice tree and parked himself right there. He was soon snoozing afterwards.

A few minutes later, Dozer felt something against him. Opening his eyes, he saw Tank was napping next to him.

Normally, Dozer would be grumpy but decided to take it easy on Tank for now. He dozed off once more, not minding the contact this time.

Later when he opened his eyes, he realized all the dinosaurs were now napping… all around him. Dozer refrained from grunting in annoyance, seeing he would probably not get any room to sleep for a while.

He didn't mind all the company… for now at least.

DK

The Pteranodons were freed and flew around the Sanctuary. The leader was named Sky, and the other two were Wing and Flap. It surprised the D-Team when the Move Card activated within the Sanctuary.

The trio of pterosaurs surveyed their new surroundings and perched themselves on a cliff, overseeing the Sanctuary. They recognized Paris as their 'commander' so they didn't openly attack any dinosaurs.

The green ornithopod had explained to the pterosaurs that Terry was not a target now, so the Pteranodons stood down for now. For the time being they just stretched their wings.

DK

Back in the Jurassic period, the Alpha Gang had their sights on a potential target: a gray Camarasaurus.

"Ohhhh!" Ursula squealed. "Let's get that one!"

Then a Dacentrurus strolled by. "No, that one!"

A pair of Ornitholestes snuck by, chattering between each other. "How about these!"

Ed and Zander watched as Ursula pointed to the Jurassic dinosaurs left and right on the woodlands. Clearly, she was trying to get dinosaurs in a hurry so they could leave and get back to Zeta Point.

"Ursula, I think we need to be more careful." Zander insisted.

"Yeah, we shouldn't reveal ourselves." Ed added. "I think we might be tasty for some carnivorous dinosaurs."

Ursula, however, got in their faces. "Listen up! The sooner we get new dinosaurs, the sooner we get the chance to leave this time and go back to modern day!"

A bellow from the Camarasaurus caught the A-trio's attention. Squinting in the distance, from what they could see, there was a stampede of Camptosaurus running from a Saurophaganax.

And the stampede was coming their way.

"AHHHHHHHHH!" They screamed and ran with the Camptosaurus herd on their way with the hungry theropod on the prowl.

"Why are we the unlucky ones?!" Ursula cried out as she put the pedal to the medal.

DK

Now for the carnivores, the D-Team decided to go from small to big. The first carnivore -besides the main partners- was the Utahraptor, who earned the name Pixel.

The 'Utah thief' carefully creeped around the Sanctuary, weary of her new surroundings. Her memory was foggy since she was freed from the Alpha Gang's control. But given the Sanctuary's settings reminded her of the dinosaur age, Pixel was getting a look of the land.

Eventually, Pixel came across Tank, who was walking by at the time. The raptor remembered what the armored dinosaur did and snarled. She was about to pounce until Ace came around. What surprised Pixel was how docile the Carnotaurus was around the herbivore.

Although she had some foggy memories, Pixel recalled how Ace and Chomp defeated her. But her superstitious nature made her wary of them. So for the time being, Pixel just snuck back to an undergrowth, wanting to see how this new world played out.

Especially between herbivores and carnivores.

DK

Next was Rebel the Ceratosaurus. The Jurassic theropod was surprisingly more kind, probably due to being grateful for the D-Team saving him. Rebel spent some time with Ace, Chomp, and Bolt. He enjoyed their company the most, probably due to their horns.

However, meeting Terry, Spiny, and Tank again, Rebel snarled at them.

The Ceratosaurus remembered how the D-Team saved them but he didn't forgive them for how badly he was beaten. So for now, the Jurassic theropod stalked off to engage with Ace, being the only carnivore he liked so far in the Sanctuary.

DK

When it came to lunch, Dory the Suchomimus was in a hurry. She was faster than she looked and ate happily from the fish trough.

She devoured quantities of fish next to the four others eating from the fish. Spiny was taking a slower pace while the Pteranodon trio had their fill.

After lunch, Dory walked into the lake and started to do some swimming to burn off food. However, she was splashing around, a habit Chomp, Hissy, and Tank were annoyed with since they were drinking at the time.

Spiny noticed this and swam after her. Dory was too unaware of the larger spinosaurid until she finally noticed him. Letting out an intimidating roar, Spiny responded with a much fiercer roar. Dory recoiled then got out of the lake and resorted to wandering land.

Annoyed with the interference, Dory had snuck off and let out a bitter growl.

DK

The final dinosaur was Ember the Carcharodontosaurus. The green theropod stalked across the field and a majority of the other dinosaurs stood out of her way.

Ember was walking along, feeling proud to be the apex predator in the Sanctuary, meaning she would have free range. It seemed everyone respected/feared her authority. Hissy backed away, Mia kept Liliac close to her, even Bolt and Rebel feared her authority.

However, the D-Team dinos didn't back down.

Both Terry and Ace saw she was causing problems and made themselves known by roaring at her. Chomp, Paris, and Tank saw this as well and stomped over as well. Spiny re-emerged from the water and hissed at the green theropod.

Ember haughtily roared but was met with resistance from the six main dinosaurs. Shooting a challenging glare, the Carcharodontosaurus growled and walked off.

Terry snorted at Ember before all the inhabitants resumed their activities.

Chomp, Bolt, Paris, and Tank grazed on the ferns. Ace and Rebel were playfully chasing each other around the trees. Spiny took a dove back into water. Dozer was snoozing in the shade, having it to himself this time, Hissy stood on his hind legs, reaching for some taller branches. Mia began digging, creating a nest for her and Lilac to sleep in. Pixel still lurked in the undergrowth and Dory was doing some sunbathing, although salty about her swimming. The Pteranodon trio flew over once more.

From the viewing point of Sanctuary, Max, Rex, and Zoe all let out breaths of relief they didn't know they were holding.

"That was tense." Zoe admitted.

"You said it." Rex agreed.

"At least it's over." Max stated. "For now at least."

"Hopefully every new dinosaur won't be as difficult." Rex hoped for.

Max peered outside and saw the sun setting. "Wow. We've been here all day."

"Yeah, I guess we have." Rex let out.

"Guess we should leave." Zoe suggested. She was prepared to use her Dino Holder before Rex intercepted.

"Wait, maybe we shouldn't return Ace and the others."

"What are you saying?" Max asked.

"Despite what happened today, what about at night?" Rex explained. "Predators do tend to use nighttime as an advantage."

Max and Zoe thought about it and agreed. "Ok, so what are you suggesting?" Zoe questioned.

"Well, Chomp, Ace, Paris, Terry, Spiny, and Tank are arguably the ones who know about the… truce per say, showing how herbivores and carnivores can co-exist with one another. And Rome wasn't built in a day. That being said, they should stay here for the night and in case anything happens, they can stop any conflicts."

Max and Zoe agreed with that. "I suppose so." Zoe admitted.

"Yeah, from what we've seen Ember and Dory aren't too keen to realize the situation." Max confirmed. "Let's hope nothing bad happens through the night."

"We'll just come back in the morning." Rex said. With that said, the D-Team left for the night and prayed that nothing bad would happen.

DK

With the sun setting, the Sanctuary inhabitants were sound asleep. Except one.

Around midnight, Lilac woke up, somewhat restless and escaped from Mia's nest.

The baby Maiasaura walked around the land aimlessly.

Thinking about it, this place was far different from the last time she was out of her card. Making her way around, she came across the lake and went for a midnight drink.

However, Dory was lurking around. While she did have her fill of fish, she was still hungry. And a baby hadrosaur would be quite the snack.

She wasn't the only one with that plan though.

Ember, having awakened, looked to see Lilac unsupervised. Interested, Ember stalked carefully.

Lilac, without a care in the world, continued to sip.

Just as the two carnivores were upon her, Sky, Wing, and Flap -from their vantage point- cawed to alert Lilac. With the baby Maiasaura alert, she found Ember charging. Lilac began to run for her life and call out. Dory emerged soon after, also wanting to taste the hadrosaur.

In her nest, Mia awoke at the sound of her child in danger. Instantly, she roared herself and charged into the fray.

Lilac weaved her way through the trees as Ember and Dory chased her nonstop. The two green carnivores snapped their jaws nonstop in an effort to reach Lilac.

However, Chomp and Ace came charging in and bashed the two of them away. Rolling to the open area, Dory and Ember got back up and snarled.

Paris and Tank also approached from one side while Spiny and Terry on the opposite. Chomp and Ace emerged, all six of them glaring at the two troublemakers. Lilac made it back with Mia, who nuzzled her. The Maiasaura was joined by Hissy, Bolt, and Dozer.

Rebel and Pixel watched on another side.

The D-Team's dinos growled and snorted at the two carnivores, finding it infuriating how they would attack a hatchling.

Ember snarled, her anger directed towards Terry and Ace. Dory was directly a glare to Chomp and Spiny.

Ember let out a challenging roar and charged at Terry. The two sharp-tooths met in a headlock, struggling for power. Chomp went in to help but Ember held him back with a foot on his face.

Dory hissed and jumped in the air like she did before and slammed into Ace before jumping backwards and slapping Spiny across the face with her tail.

Paris let out a call while Tank charged in. The Saichania swung her tail, getting Dory in the knee before Sky, Wing, and Flap came in. The pterosaur trio squeaked and cawed at the Suchomimus, irritating her.

Ember's fight was going great for the Carcharodonotasaurus, keeping Chomp at bay and Terry in a stand still. Eventually, the green theropod pushed them both back before snapping her jaws at Terry, biting into the neck. Chomp managed to recover, charging headfirst and knocking Ember away.

Dory tried to bite the pterosaurs, which resulted in her getting blindsided by Ace and Spiny. The Suchomimus slid across the ground, against Ember, who had risen and roared.

Seeing as this fight was nearing the end, all six main partners glowed their respective colors and unleashed their Move Cards.

Paris went first, having the Pteranodon trio circle the two troublemakers before Ace came in with Ninja Attack, corralling them.

Up next, Spiny came up with a Tail Smash against Ember while Tank gave Dory a Dino Swing. By the end of their moves, they had thrown them away. Dory resorted back to a card but Ember held on.

Seeing this, Terry swung his head around and landed a Volcano Burst on Ember before Chomp came running in with Electric Charge. Upon contact, Ember twitched in pain before turning back to her card.

At the success of their battle, the D-Team's partners let out roars of victory.

On the sidelines, certain dinosaurs couldn't believe what they had seen. Those who were attacked by the Alpha Gang's former dinos saw them in a new light. They were working to atone for their previous deeds.

Bolt went first, approaching Terry. When the Styracosaurus reached him, he gave an apologetic roar. Terry accepted it as Mia and Rebel also approached him, giving their own roars. Hissy approached Spiny, apologizing for his wary actions. Pixel interacted with Tank, screeching her own apology.

Dozer just lazily went back to sleep.

A few seconds later, Dory and Ember's cards reactivated -a feature the Sanctuary provides- and both troublemakers picked themselves up with groggy roars.

Seeing this, the whole herd stood ready in case they were ready to attack.

Instead, both Ember and Dory were submissive towards the D-Team's partners. They let out roars of regret in an attempt to apologize.

The six main partners looked at each other before Chomp and Ace went first. Grunts of content were heard and both green carnivores accepted it. With that, the Sanctuary was at peace with a new hierarchy.

DK

When morning came around, Max and Rex rode their bikes to reach the D-Lab. By the time they got there, Zoe was right behind them.

"Hey, wait up, guys!" Zoe called, also on her bike.

Once they reached the lab, the three kids entered with worried expressions.

"I hope everything went well." Zoe voiced.

"Me too." Max added. "Let's just hope everything went smoothly."

The others nodded and entered the Sanctuary. Once they did, they were surprised.

Both herbivores and carnivores didn't show an ounce of hostility with each other.

Chomp was sparring with Bolt. Mia was grazing on a pasture while Paris watched Liliac. Sky, Wing, and Flap flew overhead. Ace and Rebel were resting on a rock. Dozer was getting some sleep as Tank just waddled by with Pixel right beside her. Spiny and Dory shared the Sanctuary's lake. Hissy joined in, making a splash. Ember took a nap underneath some shade as Terry eating breakfast.

"Guess everything worked out." Max said with a smile. Rex and Zoe shared his sediments as all dinosaurs co-existed together.

Next time on Dinosaur King: The Complete Collection

Reese: You'll be heading to Sri Lanka

Max: Time for their first mission with the D-Team!

Rex: How are we supposed to take it down?

(A Brachiosaurus towers over Terry, Spiny, and Tank)

A/N: And the third chapter is now finished. I was working on this and the second chapter back and forth since I had a few ideas for it.

The fight towards the end was to establish dominance in the herd. Like how in 'Camp Cretaceous,' Big Eatie taking on the Spinosaurus for dominance. And to show Terry, Spiny, and Tank's new colors.

Now for names.

Hissy the Saltasaurus: Got his name from the behavior. Figured it would be fitting.

Ember the Carcharadontosaurus: Name related to fire.

Mia the Maiasaura, Lilac the baby Maiasaura: couldn't really decide for a proper name. Mia just fits. And Lilac, I wanted a name related to purple. Couldn't find any male related names to it that I liked.

Pixel the Utahraptor: she appeared at the TV station and wanted to relate it to that. Despite being called Utah in the cartoon.

Bolt the Styracosaurus: I wanted to pick something related to electricity.

Dozer the Ankylosaurus: Obviously, if you have read Drew's story.

Sky, Wing, and Flap the Pteranodon trio are from my other DK story.

Dory the Suchomimus: a fish-related name like Drew's. Plus, reminisce of everyone's favorite forgetful fish.

Rebel the Ceratosaurus: Came to me as the D-Team were making their point about rebelling against the Alpha Gang.

However, I will take name suggestions for dinosaurs.

The Jurassic period scene is a reference to 'Bad Deal' episode, when the D-Team and Alpha Gang are in the Jurassic period briefly.

Drew: There were a few instances when the cards went right back to their summoners. Like in "All, Double or Nothing." Also they'll be quicker.

StonedChompski: Thanks for your support. I promise I'll do my best with this story.

Romisa: Hopefully this chapter answers your question.

Anonymous: Yes, as you can see.

Until next time!
