"Where is the man who stole my Amazon heart? Where is the hero who threw my down to the ground and took me as his rightful prize? Where is the God whose passion shattered a mountain top? Where is that man? Where is that Superman?" - Diana
Metropolis
The city of dreams. Of men's dreams.
"Marry me," A drunk smiled.
Wonder Woman, Princess Diana, heir to the Amazons, frowned and clinched her fists tighter. She was annoyed and highly pissed off.
As the wind blew she could smell a stench in the air. A stench of musk. A stench of uselessness. A stench of liars. A stench of pathetic weaklings unworthy of a woman of her high caliber.
"Out of my way, sperm bank," she said coldly.
"Yes, ma'am. Whatever you say, ma'am."
The man trembled holding his briefcase to his chest and stepping slightly off the side walk.
Sperm bank? Yeah that's pretty much all they are good for. Reproductive purposes. But pleasure? There's no man worthy of the Princess in such a way.
Or is there?
She stepped in front of an abandoned warehouse door. It was chain locked.
DANGER. 8000 Volts.
She scuffed and pushed the door open shattering the chains. She walked inside and as she walked down the stairs she untied her trench coat, letting it hang slightly off her shoulders.
Then as she stepped into a room, she took it completely off.
"Gentlemen." She greeted.
"I told you, Diana. I told you all from the moment I heard of that maniac, I knew his methods would make us all look like monsters. We'd be soiled by him in the public eye."
Superman. Clark Kent. Kal-El, Last Son of the lost planet of Krypton. Man of Steel.
Seemingly, with such ease, he was bending a steel beam like it was a straw.
"Ok so it looks bad. But we've got no proof he actually kidnapped that kid. All we've seen is a news photo of him tossing the young fella into his car. Maybe he's just watching out for him," Green Lantern, Hal Jordan explained.
"I vote we bring him on board. I think the B-man is cool. He'd make us look edgier. I'm ready for my punishment, Princess pea. Shower it on." Plastic-Man, shape- shifting nutcase, pervert, mocked.
Diana side-eyed him.
"Shut up. You call yourselves men?"
"Here it comes, Big Blue! Rrrr!" Plastic-Man mocked again.
"Shut up." She looked at Kal and glared. "And you — you call yourself a Superman? Kow-Towing to these ants? Dropping to your knees before these earthbound ephemeral humans?"
One more thing that pissed her off...probably more than anything, a man such as Kal, holding himself back.
"You make me sick. All of you."
Kal took a deep breath. "Settle down, Diana. You are new to this world. You don't know the rules," he said calmly.
"Oh, I know your damn rules, Farm boy," she mocked. "You've told me your rules. Obey. Obey. Obey. Mince about and shuffle your feet and apologize for what you are."
Kal threw the beam down now bent into a pretzel shape.
She was getting to him. Testing his patience.
"Obey. Never show them your true power. Rescue cats stuck in trees and nab petty bank robbers and prostrate yourself before whatever vermin their stupid elections prop up as the "authorities".You're pathetic."
"Woah!" Plastic-Man laughed. "Felt that one right between the legs, huh, Kent?"
She tossed her coat. "Make yourself useful, Lantern, take my coat."
"Got it..."
Diana was ready to challenge this man, like always. Always trying to push him to show his true self.
"Shut up." Kal warned. "Diana — this isn't getting us anywhere. We have a situation. It's complex. Cooler heads than yours have to prevail."
He was trying so hard to remain calm.
"You want cooler, Farm boy? I'll give you cooler. I'll give you cold. Cold and simple. We hunt down this Bat-man like a rabid dog. We kill him. We chop off his head and plant it on a stake and present it to your "authorities"...as their first gift from the Justice League. We announce to all the world that we police our own. If none of you are man enough, I'll dispatch that psychopath myself."
That was it. She did. She struck a nerve that made Superman snap.
Slamming his foot to the ground and his fist to the wall, he made the entire building tremble. The brute force without even touch them, made Wonder Woman and Green Lantern fall.
"Damn you, Diana! Damn you and your amazon arrogance! You don't know anything! This is my world. These are my people. These are my rules. If you commit murder on my land — you'll pay for it with your own precious Amazon blood!"
And just then he revealed his true self. Raw strength, raw power, a man that can match and challenge her. A man that can truly handle her Amazon arrogance.
At that moment, Diana was so heated that you could've sworn that there was lightning in her eyes.
"You bastard!" she yelled. "You bastard. I hate your guts." She got up and took her coat from Lantern. "I hate your guts. You make me sick," she repeated putting on her coat.
Superman stood there watching her, eyes blazing.
"Here it comes, boys and girls! Def Con 1!" Plastic-Man instigated.
"Shut up." Lantern said.
Diana stepped closer to Kal.
"You make me sick," she coldly repeated a final time.
They stared at each, glaring. The tension thick between them, increasing by the minute.
Kal didn't know what to make of this situation with Diana. He didn't know what it was about her, but she knew exactly how to make him tick, what makes him tick. And in a twisted way, he liked it, and was becoming more and more attracted to her.
It was as if they were both sometimes looking for a chance to argue with each other just to be closer, just to feel that heated tension. It felt like their hormones were getting the better of them.
But was that it? A heated rush? Or deep down was there more?
They needed some way to do away with this troublesome feeling.
Their hearts jumped and took control. Kal cupped the back of her neck grabbed her hair with his right hand, then wrapped his left hand around her waist pulling her closer. Diana grabbed his cape pulling him closer as well until their lips met in a passionate kiss.
There was then the realization that the feeling deep inside them when they were fighting wasn't from true aggravation or hatred but it was passion and desire. Though, neither one of them was willing to accept that right now with a ruthless idiot running around. So they covered it up by arguing and tried their hardest to stay in denial.
When Diana broke away she immediately started walking away to leave.
"Get a room," Plastic-Man teased shape-shafting into a heart.
"Shut up. You boys go and give it your best shot. After that...it's up to me." She paused for a moment. "And all your rules can go straight to hell. And so can you. I hate you all."
Kal stood there in s daze. He reached up touching his lips, not believing what just occurred.
"She's really a very nice girl..." Kal muttered still unconsciously touching his own lips.
Green Lantern side-eyed him and frowned.
A week later...Metropolis, Clark Kent apartment
Clark really had a lot on his mind since his kiss with Diana. He was still confused about her and didn't know why.
For the first time ever, he was really thinking things over. All of his thoughts led to a dead end. He was pissed off and confused.
She made him feel something he never felt before. Clark really did care about Diana. He couldn't stop thinking about her. He had to finally admit that he was falling for her. He had to finally admit he loved everything about her, even her damn Amazon arrogance.
He made up his mind. He was more than certain with her stubbornness, it wasn't going to be an easy conversation. He also knew that this wasn't something he could avoid.
He was determined to figure this out and set things straight with her once and for all. Impulse. Clark flew out of his apartment.
Themyscira
Diana should hate him after his demand of following man's world rules. But something wouldn't let her. Something would not let her hate him and that something finally spoke up.
She sighed pacing around in her room. She took a deep breath, having flashbacks of Kal's lips touching hers and the way he held her.
Her heart started to beat fast and he had an effect on her. Diana thought she was going mad as her heart told her these things. The worst part about it was…they were true.
Themyscira Entrance
There was a shadow suddenly looming over the Amazonian guards.
They looked up to see a floating man with red eyes. He slowly floated down in front of them and just stood there.
"Intruder!"
"Maru, warn the queen!"
"Stand down," the man said. "I am looking for your Princess."
The Amazons were in shock, as he looked like a God but they had to stand their ground.
"You will not go anywhere near our Princess, intruder. Who are you?"
"My name is Kal-El. Now where is Diana?"
"Kal-El? The man they call Superman?"
He looked up to see a blonde woman walking up to him, tightly gripping her sword.
"My daughter has mentioned you before. A godly being, you are. Exactly or more than I expected from what my daughter described you to appear."
"Queen Hippolyta. I came here only to have a civilized conversation with Diana."
She frowned. "You've caused trouble for my daughter in man's world and now you have the audacity to invade our home?" She pointed her sword at him. "How dare you? You do not have permission to go any farther. It would be wise to leave now."
Like mother, like daughter, now Kal knows where Diana gets her stubbornness from.
"Queen Hippolyta, I'm sorry but I can not leave until I speak with your daughter."
Hippolyta glared. "I wasn't asking you. I was telling you. Leave now."
"Mother, put your sword down."
Hippolyta quirked her brow and looked over her shoulder.
"Diana, this man deserves to be thrown into the pits of Tartarus for his rudeness."
"Let me handle this, Mother. Put your sword down. All of you. He won't harm anyone."
As Hippolyta put her sword down and stepped back, Diana stepped forward to Kal.
"What the hell were you thinking?"
"I need to talk to you," he said.
"For what? You need my help after all, don't you?"
"No, I just need to talk. In private."
Diana sighed and folded her arms. "Let's go."
"Diana, I do not think that is wise."
The Amazons raise up their swords and spears to Kal again.
"I said let me handle this. Put your weapons down now!" Diana demanded. "Kal-El, let's go, dammit."
Diana flew off with Kal following not too closely behind. She went up to an abandon temple on an isolated mountain top.
She turned to him, a little reluctant. "Stop looking at me like that, Farm boy."
Kal was awe stricken by Diana's divine beauty wearing an exquisite white chiffon dress with gold fleck print, a unique high-low hemline, attached gold sashes, and gauntlets.
"I said stop looking at me like that."
"Like what?"
She sighed. "Forget it. You have 5 minutes. I have something more important to do."
"You seriously think I care about what you have to do?" Kal asked. "As far as what I saw, you weren't doing anything."
"Don't start with me," she glared. "You think you can talk to me that way but you can't stand up to your treasured authority."
"Diana, you know damn well it's more complicated than that."
"Wrong as usual."
Kal stepped up to Diana and surveyed her. Then he got a couple steps closer so that there was a centimeter separating the two of them.
"Am I really?" Kal asked with a serious look on his face.
They were staring into each other's eyes both expecting to see anger and hatred. They saw a little bit of that but then it was mixed with confusion. This is why they couldn't have a normal conversation. They either end up at each other's throat, or their tongues down them. They cut their eyes at each other and Diana smirked.
"Do you really want me to answer that?"
"Go ahead," Kal said.
"You try to put me in my 'place' knowing I will not stand for it, yet you can't be the true leader I know you are when it comes to standing your ground with your people. I'm not talking about be a damn dictator or go on some kind of power rampage, I'm saying you are suppose to lead them. Not them lead you."
Kal was once again amazed by Diana. It was like she knew exactly how to get inside his head.
Diana pushed him back a bit.
"And what about you, Diana?"
"What about me?"
"You think it's easy for me to sometimes have to walk on eggshells? I know what I'm capable of and I'm looking at the broader picture. I'm trying to protect everyone. I'm trying to protect you!"
"I don't need protecting."
"Diana, you don't know what they'll ever try to do to us."
She huffed and rolled her eyes.
"You can't stand it can you?" Kal asked.
"Stand what?"
"You can't stand the fact that you've met your match."
"What?"
"You are stubborn as hell. Both of us are. Each of us share rights and wrongs. I know you won't back down from me and I won't from you."
"Oh really? Well how about you start acting like it! Act like the man I know you are!" Then out of nowhere, she slapped him. "Damn you! Show me your worth, Farm boy!"
"I'm not fighting you, Diana!"
"Yes, you will!"
Just as she was about to slap him again, Kal grabbed her wrist and yanked her closer to him. She gasped feeling her body presses against his.
"I said I'm not fighting you," he said sternly.
"Let me go!"
"No!"
"I hate you so much," she hissed.
"No you don't."
Kal stared deep into her eyes. He couldn't believe the affect she had on him. It was driving him mad. He had to do something and suddenly he had some kind of surge run through him.
It happened so fast, the next thing Diana knew was that she was laying on the ground with Kal on top of her. Diana was in shock.
Kal pressed his lips against hers. Diana slightly parted her lips and kissed him back.
But then she broke the kiss trying to push him off of her.
"You are such an arrogant ass!"
"You are an overbearing Princess!"
"Oh yeah? I'll show you overbearing!"
Diana flipped them over, straddling Kal. She planted her hands on either side of his head and leaned down at him, staring with a frown.
"You got a lot of nerve, Farm boy."
Kal's eyes turned of red and he flipped her back over. He pinned her down and kissed her harder.
He moved one hand to her thigh and started inching up her dress. He momentarily broke their kiss, taking Diana's dress off of her and taking off his suit and cape to put the cape under Diana.
Diana looked at his chiseled abs and strong muscles. She could hardly control herself with her heart beating so fast. Kal places a kiss in the middle of her breasts. She moaned in enjoyment. A moan she herself never knew she would make, a sound Kal never heard before. It was beautiful.
His touch against her skin sends a feeling Diana have never had through her body. He kisses a trail up to her lips, embracing in another passionate kiss. He slides his hands up and down her stomach, stopping just short of her breasts. Then up higher, along her side, still locked in this body tingling kiss.
No man had ever touched her before in that particular way. She had a rush of feelings, enjoying his bare skin touch hers.
Their kiss became more forceful and lustful. They couldn't let go. She sighed in his mouth as she felt his rock solid left her mouth and started down her neck. Diana's palms tracing each rise of muscle over bone, her fingers strumming the ladder of his ribcage before tracing an ever more dangerous course along the soft rise of his abdomen.
He continued to kiss her neck then he went back up to her lips. He pulled away just looking into her eyes. They finally realized what they were doing. Both of them were out of breath so they were inhaling and exhaling slowly.
They were trying to find words to say, but they wouldn't come.
Grabbing her legs, Kal yanks her closer to him. He still doesn't say anything.
She felt unhinged, her eyes staring into his, They found each other again, their lips meeting, muscle beneath flesh, exploring and daring each other.
Kal studied every inch, every curve and angle of her body with his own. her hands returned to the bare skin of his chest, caressing, tickling, scratching, kneading his flesh until his skin turned pink with anticipation; his urgent, ready, need, pressed against her stomach.
She could hear the Gods whispering, reaching deep within her soul, telling her this, her with him, was worth every risk, every measured and deliberate act to defy the wall that existed within her, so that she could experience the perfection that is the most basic of human instincts.
Love.
She was suddenly overcome with an urgent sense of unrestrained desire, an immediate need for him, and her eyes swimming with lust.
Carnal affection bathing in the deep blue of his eyes, and his mouth captured hers, he kissed her hard but his lips were soft and he tucked her hair behind her ears while his tongue explored the sweet chamber of her mouth.
Her back arching, her body humming, he dipped down, taking one nipple into his mouth, sucking, nipping, pulling on it as she groaned and writhed beneath him, her fingers creating Zen-garden-like lines in his hair. Then he rose up, looking into her eyes, a devilish grin spreading across his face.
He slid his hands up along her thighs, his palms tracing her iridescent flesh. She felt a jolt of energy vibrate through her as his wrists hit the surf line of her hips. She wrapped her legs around his waist.
He slowly guided himself into her, taking his time, aroused by the crimson of her cheeks, her parted lips, her eyes half-lidded and glassy. She moaned, her head gently rolling back, sending thousands of tiny shivers in a footrace down her spine. She gasped and rocked her hips.
Kal didn't make her wait as he shoved inside of her fast and hard. Faster, and harder. In and out. And in. And out. So many times, and so fast that she thought she was going to spin out of control, so unaccustomed to her body responding in such a brutal and primal way.
And then he stilled. Expertly pulling almost completely out of her before easily, sowly, excruciatingly, agonizingly, sliding back in.
Their mouths met again, his tongue exploring, spreading her lips apart, seeking her tongue in an unpracticed, though perfectly coordinated, dance, all while he resumed a slow, deliberate cadence, increasing his pace only infinitesimally. He pounded into her, over and over, establishing a punishing rhythm.
He watched as her deliciously shaped breasts bounced up and down with each thrust, and he briefly stopped so he could lean forward and wrap his lips around one nipple, immediately rewarded as it rose and puckered inside of his mouth. Diana lifted one hand to rake her fingers through his already tousled hair as he sucked and nipped at her breasts, first the left and then the right.
Kal growled as he finally let go of her enchanting nipples. Diana mewled. Her body chasing him, missing the feel of his lips on her charged, sensitive flesh.
Until he thrust himself inside of her again, re-establishing a deliberate cadence in and out.
And in.
And out.
Faster and faster, relentless, desperate, determined, savoring the moans and hums rising from her throat, the flushness of her skin as they rocked together.
He circled his hips, thrusting them, feeling her inner muscles grip him, delighting in the strength and flexibility of her legs as she pulled him to her with each thrust, just barely letting him pull out before tightening around him again.
His hands roamed along her thighs, caressing her flesh, kneading her tense muscles. He loved her legs, loved their long lines and curves, loved their strength, too. They were powerful, but feminine and comforting. Loved the way they were wrapped around him now, teasing, urging, malleable, but only just, not allowing him to move more than a few inches away from her before forcing him back into her.
He was climbing, a familiar delight spreading low in his belly, rising, rising and he had to hold it back, waiting for her, knowing she was close. He could tell by the familiar sounds and rhythm of her body, the way the skin on her chest flushed bright crimson, the thin sheen of sweat that collected over her body, her mouth open and panting.
"Look at me, Diana," he demanded.
She rolled her head forward and opened her eyes. They were glassy and unfocused.
His words were her undoing, tumbling her over the precipice and she convulsed around him, her eyes holding his steady gaze as she came. She tried to call his name, but could only manage a string of garbled words, incoherent, scattered, much as how she felt.
But her eyes spoke for her, and he saw it there, he saw her pleasure, her openness, her pain, her love. It was all there, swimming in those blue eyes as they held his and it stopped his life's breath. Right there, halted in mid-exhale.
He felt her internal muscles gripping him, and then relaxing, then gripping again, tightening around him before letting go. And, just when he thought she was done, satisfied, complete, she did it again. Her eyes never leaving him.
He circled his hips, coaxing each wave of her climax until she was still, quiet, her pupils dilating, the rise and fall of her chest slowing, and then he slowly thrust into her again, easing back with exquisite slowness before slamming back into her, then easing out again.
He kept this rhythm for what felt like a fine eternity, slamming in, pulling slowly out, slamming in, easing out.
Until he knew he was on the edge, about to fall over, and he sped up, thrusting quickly. His face a steely mask of concentration, but his eyes holding hers with an intensity that unnerved her, almost frightened her, yet she felt safe at the same time. Because there was love there, deep and abiding. And she knew, she knew it was for her, only her.
Kal let out a slow, raw, guttural groan. This was unexpected, she was unexpected, and as she surrounded him, provoked him, coaxed him with her slick warmth, he felt the sky unfold on his body.
Diana's breathing changed, becoming labored, thready, and she felt all of the blood in her body gather there, ready for sudden and sweet release.
Her rib cage expanded as her diaphragm dilated, and with barely a warning, the orgasm echoed throughout her body, from her curled toes, through the vee of her body, to the top of her head. She closed her eyes, a barely audible moan rising from her throat before a sound escaped her chest, originating from the deepest part of her, the most perfect, beautiful song that ever graced her lips, and it rose into the air between them, floating above them before vanishing into the ether.
Her body was a quivering mess, a satiated mass of pleasured flesh, and bone, and blood, shuddering beneath him. Her brain no longer had control over the muscles of her arms and legs. But Kal had her, held her, as her body shuddered and quaked and trembled against him, before finally calming, relaxing, recovering from the violent orgasm that had rippled through her.
And when she'd caught her breath, when her eyes had met his, Kal picked up his pace again, thrusting into her, gathering speed. Feeling his own climax building, higher and higher, soaring, until, in a thunderous storm of pleasure, that made the temple tremble and half the mountain top shatter and crumble, he roared out her name, echoing through out the temple as he came.
Diana's lips found his, diving in heart-first, reaching down from a well-hidden place that, despite her best efforts, he had managed to venture in.
Then, spent and empty, he carefully pulled out of her. They coiled around each other and just stood there, bare naked on the temple floor, arms and legs holding tightly, her head resting against the hard muscle and bone of his shoulder, her lips grazing his neck as she nuzzled against him.
And, something about the way she was leaning into him, her slight frame inexplicably heavy against his, made him want to protect her. He wanted her to know that she could stay there, nestled against him, for as long as she wanted, for as long as she needed. He would hold her, cradle her, he would protect her from the outside world. This was the place where she could be vulnerable and safe at the same time, and he desperately hoped she knew that.
As though reading his thoughts, she burrowed even further into him, a whispered sigh skidding past her lips, a soft shudder rippling throughout her body.
They stayed in a peaceful silence as Diana's mind raced. They both finally opened up to each other, Kal showed her the true man he is but that caused her confliction. Confliction with her heart and Amazonian beliefs. She just wanted to lay there for as long as she could with him. To have him holding her brought her so much comfort.
To actually have that feeling, she had wondered so long about, it truly was frightening her a bit, especially realizing her feelings for him were so much deeper than she expected. That she was actually in love with this man.
Taking a deep breath, she said, "Kal, I want you to know that, I know…this doesn't change anything."
Sitting up next to her, he asked, "What do you mean?"
"I don't expect anything from you. I don't want you to think that I think it does."
"So what just happened," he started. Diana could tell by his voice that he was disappointed. "You think that it doesn't mean anything to me? Did I get that right?"
"No, I'm not saying that."
"So what are you saying?"
Diana knew damn well Kal was not like those men she was told about.
"If you think I'm just going to leave you, I'm not. I came here to make you understand how I feel about you."
"Make me?" She questioned with a raised brow. "Don't get cocky, Farm boy. You can't make me do anything."
"You know what I'm trying to say." Kal shook his head. "I don't want to fight anymore, Diana."
"Not right now no. You've worn me out."
"Come here." Kal demanded pulling her closer to him. He cupped her cheek. "Thank you, Diana. You've helped me realize so much. My feelings for you have evolved and I want you...no matter how much you frustrate the hell out of me."
Hitting his arm, she said, "Shut up." She pushed him down and straddled him. "I've always known you were the man worthy to have me." She leaned down and kissed him with a fiery passion.
