I walked into the bustling classroom. Everyone was excitedly discussing the USJ incident and our presence on the news. Everyone went quiet and watched me as I entered. Mineta stared at me with starstruck eyes. "Oh, what lovely and juicy knockers you have." The girl with a frog quirk used her tongue to slap him across the face. I turned on my heel to flee the class.

"Sit down, Satoshi," Aizawa glowered. His entire face was wrapped in bandages save for two slits to see out of and another for his nose. Both of his arms had been cast and slung across his chest. I could have prevented this if I had acted soon. And could do more with my quirk. I inhaled, holding onto that breath and scurried to my desk.

"Whoa – don't you need more rest?" The pink-skinned girl spoke a few rows over. I pulled out my notebook.

"Mr Aizawa, I am glad that you're okay!" Iida raised his arm.

Aizawa grunted. "My wellbeing is irrelevant. What's more important is that your fight isn't over yet. The UA sports festival is about to start." Everyone began to cheer. If I participated, everyone would be able to confirm the rumours about my parents. "No aspiring hero will let this opportunity go to waste."

"Yes, Sir," the pink-skinned girl yelled. He started toward the doorway as Present Mic entered.

"Satoshi," Aizawa spoke from the doorway, "see me in the teacher's lounge after class." I kept my gaze on my notes, nodding. Present Mic howled, gathering everyone's attention.

[B&M]

"Hey Satoshi," Midoriya began to get out of his desk. I stiffened, grabbed my bag, and ran out of the class. I kept running to the teacher's lounge. I held my bag close to my chest and knocked. A moment passed. I knocked again.

"I said I'm getting it," a tall woman with long black hair and a skimpy costume yelled as she slammed open the door. Midnight turned and looked down at me. "Oh! Aizawa, Satoshi's here for you." She stepped out of the doorway. I entered, walking to where Aizawa was seated beside Present Mic.

"Ah, you're quick." He turned his chair to face me. "That villain at USJ – with the way he spoke about you – I wanted to make sure that you were okay."

I nodded, "I hear that often."

The bandages around his mouth moved. "You know, just because you have his-"

"I'm okay." I interrupted him, forcing a smile onto my face. He watched me for a moment before sighing.

"I also called you in to fill this out." He touched a form with his elbow and motioned for me to take it with a nod of his head. "It's a special request to use your costume at the sports festival. Considering the effects of your quirk – I figured you might want that. Bring it back within forty-eight hours, and we'll have it approved."

"Thank you." I put the form into my bag.

"Satoshi – are you sure you're alright?" Aizawa pressed.

"Why wouldn't I be?" I started to leave the lounge.

"Because you run away the moment one of your classmates tries to start a conversation with you." I quickly closed the door behind myself and headed out to the forest that surrounded UA to eat my lunch. Damn it Aizawa. Akari had stopped meeting me to eat lunch after the first day of school. She had made friends with most of her classmates and favoured hanging out with them instead now.

[B&M]

"Where were you at lunch," Midoriya asked as he took the seat beside mine. I quickly turned my head and looked out the window as we headed back to USJ. "I wanted to ask you a question."

I pulled my arms across my chest, cupping my elbows.

"Uh – you don't talk a lot, do you?"

I shook my head.

"Uh, alright, then. Your quirk the other day, it was amazing. It reminded me of someone's quirk from a long time ago though – Sirius'. Those rumours are true, aren't they?"

I waited a moment and contemplated before nodding. Everyone was going to find out sooner or later. Plus, Iida already knew, and it was a matter of time until it all came out.

"That's super cool! I want to see how you use your quirk more – it's Space Dust, right?"

I turned and looked at the messy-haired boy. "How do you know so much about him?"

I watched as Midoriya opened his backpack and pulled out a tattered notebook. He handed it to me. The cover had 'Hero Analysis Number Three' written on the front. I opened it, skimming through the pages upon pages of heroes. He had written everything about their agency, their quirk, and their specialities down. My Mother was included in one of the centre pages. He had crudely drawn her white spandex suit and flowing white-blonde hair on the left page. Her facts were on the opposing page. Quirk: Light Speed. Signature Technique: Thousand Light Spears.

The lower half of the page had a relationship with Sirius noted with a question mark with his information. Quirk: Space Dust. Signature Technique: Nebula. He was crudely drawn as well. He always used to wear a leather jacket with jeans and a navy shirt. His hair was shaggy and down to his chin. He had the same oil-slick like hair I did.

"I'm a little bit of a nerd when it comes to heroes," Midoriya smiled, rubbing the back of his head. He handed me another one with the number fourteen on the cover. "I started a new one too." Had he seriously made fourteen of these? Maybe nerd was an understatement. I opened it my stomach-turning. It had our classmates listed. First were Uraraka and her anti-gravity, then Iida and his engine quirk. Bakugo followed with his explosions with Todoroki's half and half ice and fire. I was next. He had included me in his book.

"You think I'm a hero?"

"Of course! You helped Aizawa if you hadn't had done that who knows what the outcome would have been." I closed his notebooks and handed them back to him. "I've never seen you in the cafeteria."

"I bring my own."

"You know, you're more than welcome to eat with us at lunch if you want."

"I'll think about it."

"We're here!" Iida stood up; hand raised. "Please exit single file." I slunk off the bus last, holding myself tightly. It had been forty-eight hours since villains had attacked us, and I still did not know why I was not afraid of those villains. Was I supposed to be one of them after all? We followed Aizawa off the bus, meeting Thirteen at the entrance again.

"Thirteen!" Uraraka waived, "how are you feeling?"

"Alright," Thirteen laughed as they turned and entered the building. "Today, we'll be working on a few different rescue scenarios. We know that it's weird being back here so quick – but all of you did a great job in that incident. Now then, we'll be starting in the city zone." We followed Thirteen and Aizawa down the steps towards the destroyed cityscape. I watched the rest of the class ahead of me – they were all stiff and on edge. I felt out of place compared to our last visit.

"Oh, I can't wait to see Satoshi in action," Mineta drooled as he latched onto Kaminari's leg. I frowned, running a hand over my suit. It might be beneficial to ask for an extra outfit in case due to him.

We came to a stop at the base of a large building that stood at an angle. "For our first assignment – each of you will be tasked with rescuing someone falling a dangerous height. I'll be dropping the civilians from the top of the building. Aizawa will be grading everyone below. Please line up in order of student number," Thirteen waived before heading into the building. I got in line between two large boys, holding myself tightly. The first to go tried to use their naval laser to save the dummy, but all that accomplished was a doll with a hole through it. Only about half the class were able to rescue a falling person. The four boys in front of me had failed to save their dummies.

"Next," Aizawa called, eyeing me. I swallowed, watching as Thirteen hauled a body over the edge. I broke down all my atoms, reforming from the bellybutton up two stories from the top of the building. I flew forward, latching onto the dummy. I held the oversized prop until I reached the ground. I let my legs reappear. I hauled the dummy over to the pile and stood off to the side.

"Why didn't Satoshi just do that to the doll," Kaminari asked. He had electrocuted his prop and had it fall on him, which knocked him to the ground.

"Satoshi's quirk may be limited to that of inanimate objects like my own, "our vice class representative tried to explain to him. "You see – if she were to use her quirk on another human and make one mistake in putting their cells and atoms back, she would kill them." Thanks, Yaoyorozu, I didn't need the reminder.

It was still hit and miss for the next group. Todoroki had incased his in ice – which may prove detrimental on the field. Bakugo used his explosions to propel him upward to reach the prop and continued back up to the top. Midoriya just ran around on the ground and tried to catch his – he missed by about three and a half feet. Yaoyorozu created a trampoline and had the dummy come to a slow bounce.

Thirteen exited the building a few moments after she had gone. "Congratulations everyone, as you've witnessed not everyone is suited to the same scenario. Next, we'll be working on information gathering in groups. I've hidden four faces around the building. You have five minutes to locate all four. The first group to locate all will receive an advantage in the next activity."

Aizawa separated everyone into groups. I had been split into a group with Yaoyorozu, Sato, Kaminari, and Ashido. "We'll be nice. You have two minutes to discuss strategy." Aizawa yawned.

"I'll make binoculars for all of us," Yaoyorozu said as one popped out of her exposed chest. "We'll use Kaminari's radio to keep in touch, so we don't double count a face. We'll use Sato's strength to look in debris. Ashido, you have speed with skating on your acid. Satoshi – are you fast as well? Are you able to perceive things when you've atomized your body?" Two more binoculars and four radios popped out of her chest.

I shrugged, bit my lip, and looked at the ground. I could use Nebula and have this done in seconds. But, did I want to use my villainous father's signature move? This would be an excellent opportunity to try it.

"O-okay then."

"Your time starts now." Thirteen clicked the timer. Yaoyorozu tried to hand me a pair of binoculars; I shook my head. I did pick up a radio from the ground and snapped it on my belt. I took in a breath, closed my eyes and let my atoms shift and disperse. My atoms moved to create a dome over the city.

I solidified the radio. "Tengu on top of the fifteen-story building. Kitsune under debris outside the coffee shop. Kabuki inside the third floor of the department store. Noh mask side of the flipped orange car." I let my atoms swirl, reforming my body in the exact spot I had dissipated in prior. My teammates, as well as a few other classmates, stood staring at me. I quickly looked to the ground, my hair covering my face.

Ashido jumped over to me, squatting down to shove her face into my field of vision. "That was beautiful!" I lifted my head a little to watch her sceptically. "You looked like a swirling galaxy!" I caught Midoriya's glimmering eyes and wide smile past her. He grinned wider and gave me a thumbs-up before running through the city.

Kaminari snapped his hand and pointed to me, "that was sick."

I felt two soft hands on my shoulders, and I was pushed across the dirt to where Aizawa and Thirteen stood. Yaoyorozu put her chin on top of my head. "We've found all four!" She squeezed my shoulder, and I quietly recited their locations.

"Congratulations," Thirteen yelled as they lifted her arms. "You've found all four and get the advantage!"

Aizawa tilted his head, "Yaoyorozu, give Satoshi and I a moment." I felt her nod before letting go of my shoulders. He spoke again once she had retreated far enough. "Is that as far as you're going to go with that move?"

I look up from the ground to meet his gaze. "I have no intention of making it into what he did."

Aizawa's head lulled to the other side. "Very well. Be careful with that move though."

I let out a long breath. "I know."

"Go join your classmates and actually socialize for once." He turned his attention back to the dilapidated city. I licked my lips nervously before turning and walking towards my team. I sucked in a breath as I neared them. I could do it. Just say one word and stay there. It's not that hard. Ordinary people did far more than that in an hour.

Once my team was within ten feet of me, I veered to the left and walked to the other side of a large slab of stone. Damn it! I stayed behind the rock; knees tucked into my chest until Thirteen called the end of the exercise. I stood a few feet away from the back of the group.

"Well done, two of our teams found all masks within the time limit. Team three found two masks and team one found one mask. It seems we need to practice some recon!" Thirteen lifted her arms in the air. "Our last exercise will be held in the forest zone. Let's head our way over." I lagged behind the class while we walked across USJ. We followed Thirteen and Aizawa into the forest until we hit a clearing. "Our next activity will be team fights! The class will be split into five teams. You will have a minute to disperse before we begin. The first team will be the team captains and choosing their teammates as their advantage." Thirteen handed out rolls of capture tape for each of us.

I swallowed hard as we were ordered to stand in front of the class. I kept my head down and stared at my feet. Who was going to be a safe pick? Who would I be able to work with without having to fear using my powers?

"Todoroki," Yaoyorozu made her first pick.

"Jiro!" Kaminari snapped his fingers into guns as he pointed to the girl with the leather jacket and earphone jacks on her earlobes.

"Aoyama," Ashido made her pick.

"Sero." He made his way over to stand behind Sato.

I held my elbow awkwardly as I forced my head up to face the class. "Midoriya." He smiled, running over to stand behind me.

Yaoyorozu made her second pick, "Uraraka."

"Ojiro," Sato pointed with a thumb to the boy with a tail.

Kaminari made his second pick, "Mineta!"

"Hagakure," Ashido yelled while throwing her arms up.

I looked out at the group again. My eyes landed on the one person I had grown up with, despite sharing almost no words. "Iida." He nodded and moved to join my team. I had no idea who to take next.

"Tsu." She moved to join Yaoyorozu's team.

"Shoji." The boy who sat behind me in class stood with Sato's team.

"Kirishima, my man!" The spiky redhead stood behind Kaminari.

"Tokoyami." He turned his head downward and joined Ashido's team.

I looked back up. It was between a silent boy who I had never spoken to – or seen speak – and Bakugo. I swallowed hard. Bakugo looked irked, his arms crossed stiffly over his chest and glared at me. "Bakugo."

"About fucking time!" He marched over to join our team. The last boy joined Yaoyorozu's team. "Why the hell didn't I get picked first?"

"Maybe it's because you need to work on teamwork," Iida smiled at our classmate.

"Die!" He snapped back.

"Okay, everyone!" Aizawa snapped. Everyone froze. "You have one minute to find a location to start in. A knockout or capture means you are out. Once all teammates are out, your team fails. Go."

"This way!" Bakugo started to run off into the wood behind us where it became denser and darker.

"Satoshi is the leader; she should be making our calls." Iida started to chastise him again.

I shook my head and started forward. "It's fine." We made it deeper into the woods, finding a sizeable rooted tree with an open cavern to hide in. We slipped down inside. I melted my atoms and let myself float at the base to give the boys more space.

"We need a plan," Midoriya started to say.

"We attack, and I blast them away! Satoshi can warp them to capture them." Bakugo sneered.

"I-I can't do that." I shook my head. "I can't use my quirk on anything living."

"What?" He snapped, glaring at me. "You used it on that Nomu the other day – and you always use it on yourself." He pointed a gauntlet at me.

"Yes. But I only used it on the Nomu because it could regenerate. That way, if I screwed up, it could mend itself. If I leave even one atom or molecule out of place, it will die." I explained. "I took a chance on that Nomu, and it worked out. I am not trying that again."

A horn rang out through the forest. Time was up.

Bakugo looked at me with narrowed eyes. "That's a waste of fucking time then!" I made a wrong pick.

I sighed, "I'll create my Nebula again and locate where the other teams are. Iida and Bakugo have strength and speed and can initiate quickly. Midoriya – you and I are going to focus on capturing the other teams."

Iida smiled at me. "I've never heard you talk this much Satoshi. You have a good plan."

I slunk farther into the trunk. "It's not like I have a choice right now. I'd rather not be doing this." Bakugo grimaced but nodded – he knew that plan was our best bet. Midoriya broke himself whenever he used his quirk, and I was not good with combat. "Ready?" The boys nodded. I let the rest of my atoms break down, and I opened my nebula over the forest. Yaoyorozu's team was currently fighting – and winning against Kaminari's team. Sato's team were trekking through a swamp, and Ashido's team were sneaking through the forest in our direction. I returned to the boys.

"What's happening," Midoriya asked.

"Shut the hell up Deku!" Bakugo bellowed as I opened my mouth. Oh great – Ashido's team no doubt knew where we were.

I let out a breath. "Ashido's team is heading towards us. They no doubt know where we are now." Bakugo narrowed his eyes at me. "Since they're closest we should focus on taking them out first. Yaoyorozu's team is engaged with Kaminari's now so we'll be able to knock two teams out potentially."

"Hello!" We turned to see Tokoyami's dark shadow smiling at us. Bakugo jumped at dark shadow and let off his explosions. Midoriya and Iida scrambled out of the cavern while I broke my body back down. Ashido was using her acid to melt the tree we were in. Tokoyami stood hidden in some thicker trees. Hagakure's gloved floated with capture tape ready. Aoyama let off his navel laser into the sky. Idiot – he just told everyone where we were. I let my upper body reappear, using the capture tape to bind Ashido's hands.

"Ugh, no fair Satoshi," she cried, waving her wrapped hands in front of her. I broke down my body again as she slumped off to rejoin the teachers in the clearing. I swirled around the area. Bakugo had captured Tokoyami, Hagakure had captured Midoriya, and Iida had captured Aoyama and Hagakure.

Midoriya hung his head, "I'm sorry guys."

"You're shit, Deku!" Bakugo let off an explosion.

"Hey," I let my body from the chest up reappear, without arms, in front of him, "we took out a team, there's at least two more to go. We need to focus on working as a team rather than out of anger."

"Ah," Iida crossed his arms and nodded, "now I understand what kind of person you are Satoshi. You're a quiet and knowledgeable student while your sister is more outgoing."

"Sure, keep comparing me to her," I said under my breath. "I'll check our surroundings – the next team was over by the swap to the west." I let myself float upward well above the tree line. A massive iceberg was slowly shrinking from the other side of the forest. Something fast and feathered moved past my face. I lurched back and watched the bird circle back to me. I felt dull talons in my hair. I let my arms appear, swatting at the birds who were swirling and attacking me. Who on earth could control birds? I sucked in a breath and let myself dissipate. Shit, I hope I was not too late. If they were attacking me, they knew where I was. I was right above my team. They knew where Iida and Bakugo were also.

I rushed back down to my teammates. Both Bakugo and Iida had been captured by Todoroki's ice on the ground. Iida willingly let Uraraka use the capture tape to catch him while Bakugo was shouting and swinging explosions at Yaoyorozu and Tsu. Ice started to creep up his legs. Bakugo could fend off the two trying to capture him. I needed to stop Todoroki.

Todoroki stood on top of the ice, twenty feet away from his teammates. My atoms swirled at his feet, my hand reappeared, grabbed onto his ankle, and pulled. He stumbled forward but caught himself. "You won't win Satoshi." I hit him behind the knee. His legs buckled. He scurried back onto his feet and turned to face me. My hand waved before breaking down. He sent out a jagged glacier of ice.

"I'll kill you!" Bakugo let his explosions loose. Yes, he was free.

Todoroki was eyeing his surroundings for any sign of me. My atoms floated in a dark spot in the canopy of trees. If I could somehow figure out how to capture him – Bakugo would be fine with the other two. I slunk across the trees and behind him. I let my upper body materialize, and I grabbed onto his arms from behind. I struggled to hold him in place. I was not physically fit like much of our class. I gasped, quickly materializing my legs as Todoroki used his arms to flip me over himself. He let go, and I went flying into a tree.

"So, if you feel pain, you can't use your quirk?" Todoroki stepped his foot down. Ice crept toward me.

I shook my head as my body dissipated from the legs up, "try again."

Bakugo's explosions stopped. "Satoshi! I got them! Where are you?"

"Over here," I yelled before my head disappeared. Bakugo instantly came hurtling through the forest, using his grenades as boosters. In a second Todoroki had him encased in a block of ice. I let myself reappear behind the ice with my hands placed on Bakugo's ice-covered back. I took in a breath and focused on exciting the cells. I had managed to do this on a smaller scale – but never something so substantial. The ice began to turn into water slowly. I felt weak. I could barely keep my head upright. My arms fell to my side, and I doubled over.

[B&M]

My head was raging. It hurt to breathe. It hurt to think. Everything seared with pain. I took in a shaky breath. My hands gripped the sheets around me.

"Aren't you supposed to be taking special medication," Recovery Girl asked from beside me. I managed to croak out a weak affirmative. "And just when was the last time you took one?"

"USJ." I slowly opened my eyes, an empty bag of AB and one of nutrients hung above me.

She let out a huff. "You are supposed to be taking them daily – why are you avoiding that?" She looked down at me disapprovingly.

"I can't afford them."

She snapped. "What do you mean you can't afford them? As far as I'm aware, an entire month isn't more than five thousand yen."

I frowned, adjusting myself to sit up. "I can't pay tuition, rent, food, and those." She froze and stared down at me. She let out an exasperated breath, walked with her cane over to a large medicine cabinet and pulled out a glass bottle. She threw it into my lap. I picked up the bottle, "no – I can't afford these. I can't pay for them."

"I stocked them because of you. I can put another one on order. You're going to take these every day and when they run out - you're going to get another supply. What would happen if your body crashed like it did out there today? You don't have enough control over your quirk to stop taking these. Remember – if you get hurt for any reason, I can't heal you." I bit my lip and nodded. She came back to the bed, unhooking the IV from my arm. I did not bleed when the needle left me. "Now change and get back to class." I nodded, slowly turning myself to get out of the bed. My feet hit the tile floor, and I stumbled. I thanked Recovery Girl and left the infirmary, holding the bottle close to my chest.

I made my way to the elevator. If I tried to take the stairs like this, I would just be falling down them. Thankfully, the elevator was seldom used. I hit the button for the first floor as the door closed. My brain hurt even more from the momentum of the moving box. The doors opened, and I exited, resting a hand on the wall for balance as I headed to the change rooms.

They were empty. I entered and stripped off the top portion of my suit. I opened my locker and slowly changed into my uniform, folding my suit and untying my boots to add to the case. I put the small jar of pills into the pocket of my blazer. Once I was dressed, and my hero suit squared away, I picked up the heavy case and began to make my way back to the elevator. My arms screamed at the strain. My biceps felt as if they were on fire.

Once the elevator arrived at the floor for first years, I had started to feel a little better from the transfusion Recovery Girl had done. I stood outside of the closed door to 1-A and leaned my shoulder into it. The door slowly opened. I stared around the classroom. The majority of students were present – but no teacher. I looked up at the clock. It was already past the end of the day. Why was everyone still here?

Iida was the first to see me. His face perked up and he started towards me with robotic movements, "Satoshi – are you okay? You had us all worried."

"Uh – yeah." I nodded hesitantly before heading towards the wall of cases – the row for mine was still open. I lugged the case up and into its spot. The wall instantaneously closed. I turned around. My face a mere three inches from Bakugo's.

"What the hell was that?" He yelled, standing upright again. "We almost had that icy-hot bastard, and then you had to go and have a medical emergency. Damn Sato's team won because they got lost."

"Hey – Ka-chan. She just got healed by Recovery Girl, give her some space." Midoriya tried to reason with him.

"Why don't you shut the fuck up Deku!" Bakugo turned to snap at the boy. I took that moment to try and duck around the two, get my bag, and head home. Akari had stopped walking home with me after her movie with Pony; I would have to be careful. I let out a yell as my legs twisted together and I fell in a clump on the ground – narrowly missing a desk.

"Satoshi," Uraraka and Ashido yelled as they rushed to me. I massaged my ankle and stared at the ground. The two put their hands on my shoulders and helped me up and into a chair. My ankle throbbed just like the rest of me, but I don't think I did anything to it.

"Are you feeling okay? Do we need to get Recovery Girl," Uraraka looked at me worriedly?

I shook my head. "I'm fine. Just sore."

Ashido made an 'o' with her lips, "what even happened anyway? Bakugo and Todoroki came running with you, and you were as white as a sheet." I shrugged, wanting to avoid the answer.

"Yahoo," Present Mic stood in the doorway with his hands up, "Satoshi – come with me. Take all your stuff too." I nodded, picked up my school bag and left the classroom with him. We strolled to the elevator and headed to the first floor.

"Where are we going?" I followed beside him.

"Eraser Head asked me to drive you home. Said no one would come to pick you up." Present Mic shrugged his shoulders as we entered the elevator. He swatted the first-floor button. I held the strap of my bag between my fingers, rubbing the rough canvass.
