As Simple As Smallville

My own spin on the in betweens of New52 Justice League issues 14 & 15 :)

WatchTower

With her arms crossed Wonder Woman slowly walked through trying to wrap her head around the revelation of her farmer best friend, Barbara Minerva. She stopped abruptly and sighed hugging herself.

"My best friend was never my friend at all," she said to Superman who was floating behind her the whole time. "Barbara was right. I was naive. I still am. How could I put my trust in someone like her? How could I not see what she really was?"

Superman side and landed closely bend her. Wonder Woman turned around to face him. He gave her a sympathetic side.

"Because you were giving people the benefit of the doubt. You were looking for the good instead of the bad. Something I admire about you. Something I try to do myself."

She shook her head. "If I can't trust my own instincts, I can't trust anyone."

Superman stepped closer to her. "You have an entire team of people you an trust." He took her hand. "You can trust me."

Her heart skipped a beat staring into his soulful eyes.

"I don't know that much about you, Superman."

He smiled. "Let's change that."

He pulled her with him.

"Where are you taking me?" she questioned.

"To one of the best places in the world. You'll like it."

She smiled and nodded.

They flew through the skies. Superman beamed as he looked over to Wonder Woman.

"Oh wow...it's so beautiful. I've never been able to really enjoy the view from flying. I'm always on the go to a mission or dealing with my family."

"I understand but, Diana, you have to take time for yourself."

"I've thought to but there's so much I have to accomplish."

"You will still do that but you need a break, too."

Diana's heart fluttered. Even since their first kiss a couple of days ago, she had felt something she never knew before. Her heart raced every time she was close to him. Even just seeing him or a simple fleeting thought. The way his hands traced her cheeks, gently stroking and cradling her face. She closed her eyes and nearly fell into his arms, letting him feel the outline of her body. She trusted Clark, and she trusted the wave of desire that carried her closer to him.

From the very first time they met in the middle of a battle in Metropolis, she knew there was something about him. He had the power to rival the Gods but yet so humbled. For 5 years, he never treated her like the others on the team, especially Hal Jordan, trying to flirt or never taking her serious as a woman. Clark however, respected her, treated her an equal. Now, he is taking the time to to give her a break from the League and missions.

Whatever she has been feeling for him was only growing much deeper than expected.

"Welcome to Smallville, Diana!" He smiled proudly. "My hometown."

"It's lovely already."

"Wait until you meet some of the folks."

Smallville Diner

Superman and Wonder Woman landed in front of the diner.

"Oh wow! Look! It's Superman and Wonder Woman."

"Superman!"

"Wonder Woman!"

Superman and Wonder Woman smiled and happily greeted them all.

He opened the door for her.

"Thank you."

"Good Morning," Superman said.

"Woah! Uh...Mornin'!" The owner/cook said awestruck. "What can we do for you? He asked a bit nervous.

Superman smiled as he and Diana sat down at the counter. "2 plates of your famous pancakes and a chocolate milkshake."

Superman could hear the chatter all around. It was spreading quickly like a wildfire.

"I don't believe this? Do you believe it?"

"Well, of course I do!"

Locals began to crowd the diner.

"I can't see!" One kid whined jumping up to see through the window.

"Here you go..."

"Thank you," Superman and Wonder Woman said in unison.

"The smell is delightful."

The cook went over to his wife who had been speechless the whole time. She looked at her husband still in disbelief.

"Wonder Woman and Superman are sittin' right there! In our diner!"

"As them how they like my pancakes!"

She looked at him surprised. "Why don't you?!"

He gave her a sympathetic look and chuckled nervously.

She sighed and walked over to them

"Excuse me, folks, how's everything?"

"It's very good, thank you," Wonder Woman smiled.

"Thank you, Mary."

Her heart skipped a beat looking to Superman. "How do you know my name?"

"He's Superman, Mary! He knows everyone's name."

Wonder Woman looked at Superman. She became more and more amazed by him.

"I brought you here because I wanted you to meet the nice couple that runs this diner and the families that come here."

Wonder Woman looked back to see everyone taking their pictures, smiling, mumbling amongst themselves.

Her heart soared seeing the children.

After eating, they stayed at the diner for another our greeting the people, and talking with the children.

"I love you, Wonder Woman!"

The children happily surrounded her. She kneeled to them and embraced them.

Kent Farm

Reluctantly leaving the diner, Superman and Wonder Woman flew to the Kent Farm and landed in the field.

"This is why I'm Superman..."

"To protect Smallville?"

"To protect places like Smallville."

As Diana stared at the Kent main house something came over her. A warm, comforting feeling. She was in a way, reminded of her own home of Themyscira.

"When we were stopping Darkseid from transforming the world into a firepit, or keeping David Graves from unleashing an army of parasitic spirits on the world, this is the world I'm fighting for."

"And this is where you grew up?"

"It's where the rocket carrying me from Krypton landed. Where the Kents' found me. Where they taught me that life was about using your talents to help make the world a better place. Something you decided to do on your own."

"Can I meet your parents?"

Superman looked down. Wonder Woman immediately noticed his sorrowful expression.

"They passed on. Some time ago."

Wonder Woman's heart broke for him.

"The farm's run by another family who leases the fields. But I kept the house I grew up in. Every once in a while, I need to come home to remember."

"It's beautiful, Clark."

He couldn't help but smile a bit to hear her say his name. Meeting her, changed something within him. The night they first kissed, it was unexpected but he had no regrets. It was like something was speaking to him. Diana is an extraordinary woman that can truly understand him. He didn't have to hide anything from her, share so much with her and could truly be himself. He knew that these feelings, this attraction, and desire for Diana had always been there. It had just been buried underneath their friendship, trying to remain professional. But now their feelings have rose to the surface, shattering all previous restraint.

He turned to look at her. "There is life outside the Watchtower. Outside the Justice League. And it's a good life, Diana." He stepped closer to her, looking deep into her eyes. Her cerulean eyes held such a fire, a smolder that he never thought he'd see in her gaze. "Don't let the evil and corruption we battle every day make that any less true. Sometimes good is what it appears to be.. good." He took her hand.

"I thought so. But sometimes it feels too simple now."

He held her hand tighter. "Sometimes, it's still that simple. He pulled her closer and grabbed her other hand, intertwining their fingers. "As simple as Smallville."

He captured her lips in a passionate kiss. Diana felt her breath being stolen and her heart skip a beat. Letting go of her hands, Clark slowly wrapped his arms around Diana. Diana wrapped her arms around his neck, linking together behind his head, deepening the kiss. The movements of Clark's lips slowly became more demanding. In perfect rhythm, her own caresses increasingly hungry. They could feel each other's warmth through both their uniforms and felt themselves lift a few feet from the ground.

Diana felt Clark squeeze her closer, desiring her lips against his soft touch. She let out a moaning, whimper of surprise. She trembled in his grasp as a heat grew from the pit of her body and spread throughout her. It was like nothing she had ever felt before as his lips moved against her, gently nibbling on her luscious lips. With their bodies pressed together, her supple breasts pushed against his chest. Nothing else mattered in this moment but each other, as reality melted away and the world beyond became a distant, almost forgotten memory. Their mouths moving in a delicate, ravenous dance

It was just so hard to focus on anything beyond their lips pressing against one another and the lust that burned within Diana's body. It set her on fire, engulfing her in a whole new feeling that possessed her. Her hands combed through his jet black locks as she let out another moan, that held carnal wanting that she could only express through her hands and lips.

When they finally pulled away, he wanted to pull her back against him and kiss her over and over again, but he controlled himself, somehow, and simply gawked at her.

Diana blushed and bit her lip.

"I have one more thing to show you, then we can go into the house."

Diana nodded.

Clark smiled and took her hand as they flew off to the barn.

Clark opened the large doors.

"I used to sit in here for hours reading or when I was trying to get used to my powers so no one would see me. Up there is an opening and the moonlight would shine. It's a great view."

"And this..." Clark pulled the large sheet. "This is the rocket I was in."

"It's spectacular."

"When I was younger, this was my only way to learn something's about Krypton until I got the Fortress. I'll take you to the fortress, too, soon."

"I would love that."

Clark took her hand again.

"Let's go to the house."

Clark and Diana strolled to the house.

When he opened the door, Diana was yet again amazed. Once again she felt the warmth and comfort. As he gave her a tour upstairs, Diana eyed all the family pictures on the wall. She smiled seeing young Clark.

"Your mother was very beautiful and your father was very handsome." Diana smiled wider picking up a picture of Clark. "You're adorable!"

Clark laughed. "Adorable? I wasn't going for that in school."

"Ah, so you were a ladies man even that young?" She raised her brow teasing.

"Oh, no, no!" He chuckled. "I didn't mean that."

Diana giggled.

"Come on. I'll show you my old room."

Clark opened the door to his room. A full sized bed, with dark blue bedding, science posters, trophies on his desk and dresser, medals hanging and certificates framed on his wall, a telescope and so many books.

"Even though I played football, I mostly enjoyed Science and Literature classes."

"On Themyscira, I enjoyed reading most of all as well. I dreamed that one day I would travel to man's world. Now, I'm here." Diana smiled. "It's more than I imagined. I love your hometown."

"It's not anything grand but-"

"Clark, I don't care much for grand. Smallville is grand on its own way. It's really nice, so comfortable. This is what I needed. Thank you for bringing me here. For sharing all of this with me. I really wish I could've met your parents."

"I care about you...a lot, Diana. I know they would adore you, especially Ma. She wouldn't want you to leave. I want to share so much more with you, if that's okay?"

Diana's hands stroked his handsome face as she kissed him softly with an ever-growing passion.

This time Clark let out a noise, a shuddering groan of joyful surprise. Diana pushed herself against him, harder, thrusting her hips into his as her tongue entered his mouth. She found herself enamored by the taste. Her tongue press against his and his hot breath flood into her mouth, making her tremble. Her hips pushed against his body, rubbing against a hard, rough spot that had formed on his lower half.

Perhaps if she wasn't so captivated by his taste she would have realized the full effect she was having on him, but both were prisoners to desire. She moaned against his mouth as their bodies pushed into the other's. There was no space between them, their mouths hungered for the taste of one another, their hands couldn't stay in one place for long, their bodies burned with the warmth of the other.

All that built up tension, all the pressure their bodies created by suppressing these desires. They exploded out of them with the force of a bomb, like a dam that had finally shattered. Their lust flowed like a flood as they kissed.

Diana stepped back accidentally bumping Clark's dresser, making a trophy fall.

They broke the kiss and laughed. Clark picked up the trophy then took Diana's hand.

"It's better downstairs."

Making their way downstairs, Clark sat on the sofa and grabbed Diana pulling her down to sit on his lap. Diana didn't tense up or move away. Clark caressed her cheek and captured her lips once again and it didn't take Diana long to respond back, resuming their make-out session, falling into pure bliss.

Diana broke away momentarily to adjust herself straddling him. She let out an even louder moan as Clark runs his hands up and down her thighs. His hands then glide to her rear, and his hands tingled with the sensation. He groped and squeezed the flesh, digging his hands into her.

As Clark trailed down her neck, Diana took off her tiara and gauntlets. She reached behind to undo the clasp of her uniform. She pulled back from him taking off her bodice. Clark was completely memorized. He looked up at her and she nodded giving him a reassuring smile. He cupped her voluptuous breasts, kissed her breasts and took one in his mouth. Diana gasped and arched against him, feeling his tongue. As he sucked and teased, her fingers wound in his hair. Clark's own suit degenerated, leaving his godly toned chest exposed to her. She could feel the volume of him against her, hard and insistent, making her blush.

Was this too soon?

Didn't matter – they were together now.

Diana threw her head back and closed her eyes, biting her lip as he continued ravishing her breasts. He paid attention to both breasts, kissing, licking and even biting, all the while his hand roamed over her body, caressing her neck, hips, tights and anywhere else he could reach. She felt in heaven with his hot touch, causing sensations to awake in places she could never imagine was possible. She felt him smile, confident in the knowledge that she liked it.

Clark reached for the quilt and threw it to the floor as well as a pillow. With one arm around Diana he kneeled to the floor and quickly fixing the quilt and pillow to gently lay Diana down on.

She smiled at him impressed.

Clark sat up and took Diana's right leg taking her boot off. He trailed kisses from her calf to her ankle. He did the same for her left leg though went back up to her knee and thigh. Diana tensed a bit when he kissed her inner thigh. She'd never done this before. As calm as she tried to be within this moment, inside, she was overwhelmed.

He looked up at her and sat up. "We can stop, if you want, Diana."

"No, I don't want to stop."

"Are you sure?"

She nodded and sat up as well. "I've never done this before but I want to experience this with you."

Clark was shocked. "You haven't? What about-"

Diana shook her head. "I didn't have these kind of feelings then. There wasn't an understanding."

"I get it. I don't want you to feel rushed."

"No...we've been patient and have waited long enough."

Diana pulled at the hem of his boxers. Clark placed his hands over hers and they both pulled them down. Clark got rid of them. Diana knew she shouldn't stare, but she couldn't avoid it. She snapped her head up seeing his smirk. She took a deep breath, feeling even more hotness spreading through her body. She was just so beautiful and innocent. Clark wanted to say that she could do anything she wanted with him, instead, he reached for her hand. Her eyes widened, and he thought she was going to shy away, but she surprised him by gripping it firmly, her long fingers stroking him curiously.

When Clark let out a low groan as Diana stroked him more becoming more confident with her actions. Diana took a moment to just survey him. She couldn't believe she had this godly man naked kneeling in front of her. Touching him like this. She'd read romantic novels, even saw a few movies but to be in this moment herself was indescribable.

When she looked up at him with half hooded eyes she could clearly see the desire burning her in his ocean blue eyes, only for her. He leaned down to kiss her as he drew her body taunt to his. She could feel his desire for her hard against her stomach. He slowly slid her bottoms down her legs. He was awestruck seeing her now fully unclothed. Her hourglass figure is stunning. Clark lean down, capturing her lips in a slow, deep kiss.

While they kissed, Clark brought his hand back to her hips, caressing for a while and then allowing his fingers to stray to her center. She gasped when she felt him touch her so intimately and Clark looked for her eyes, trying to see her comfort level, but when she didn't object, he continued his ministrations. Diana felt her knees almost buckle.

He rubbed her, drawing small circles over her, never leaving his gaze from hers. She sighed and gasped and whimpered at the foreign feeling. Her eyes fluttering closed, but when he deepened a finger inside her she moaned aloud, her hips raising in instinct, and it was the most erotic sound he had ever heard.

He kept teasing her for a while and when a second finger joined the first one, she opened her eyes and he felt her grip his wrist. He looked quizzically at her, lust and confusion mixed in her gaze.

"Clark...I..."

He then, realized what was happening and started to rub her again, whispering encouragements in her ear. "It's okay, just let it happen."

With that, she did let it happen. Her eyes widened, her lips parted and small puffs of air escaped in whimpers as he felt her walls clamping around his fingers. He held her face in his hand as he teased her a little while, helping her enjoy the aftershocks before he stilled his fingers and felt her completely relax. She closed her eyes again, swallowing a little, and then reopened them, a shy smile on her lips.

Clark was feeling unbearably heated, feeling all the pent up emotions of sexual longing fly out of his face at the pure unadulterated look that Diana was displaying on her face. He smiled too, proud he had been the one to give her first orgasm and then kissed her lips.

Diana moaned again as Clark began his slow descent down the column of her throat, to her collar bone giving her one of his infamous love marks, to her breast. He cupped each breast in his hands, gently massaging the heavy mounds. Diana thrust her breast into his hands while burying her hands into his thick mane of jet black locks.

He licked down her stomach, stopping to dip his tongue into her belly button, which made her giggle. He went further so that he was eye level with her womanhood. He licked his lips and ledges her left leg and placed it over his shoulder.

Diana let out a loud gasp, surprised, as she felt his tongue repeat the actions of his fingers previously did. He hungrily lapped at her sweet juices and sucked on her nub. His eyes rolled back in his head when he tasted her. Her taste and scent were driving him insane. She arched her back as he thrust his tongue into her over and over again. The sounds of Diana's soft screams, shivers and her hands tightening in his hair motivated him. He legged up her right leg so now both legs were wrapped around his head. His hand found it's way to her entrance.

His finger swiped over her. Diana moaned and screamed, pulling at his hair continuously. To hear her sing his name in pleasure encouraged him even more and gave him satisfaction he was pleasing a Goddess just right.

She was nearing her climax as his finger grazed against her secret spot he found.

Seconds later she was screaming out his name in pleasure again. He sat up and smirked as he licked his lips.

Looking over with her eyes full of love and lust, he kissed her, grabbing her hair intensifying the kiss and positioned himself above her. Diana moaned in his mouth loving the combined taste of him and herself.

"Tell me if anything bothers you."

She nodded and with that he kissed her again, lowering his tip at her opening. He pressed a little, accommodating the first few inches and, seeing she seemed comfortable, he started to push more, burying himself in her completely and her world turned upside down, her walls gripping him tightly as he stretched her to her limits.

Pulling out excruciatingly slow, making her feel every inch of him and then he stopped, his tip just touching her. He rocked his hips forward, burying himself completely in her again and a long moan escaped her.

Her body arched into his, every fiber of her being on fire as she felt him pulsing inside of her as her walls convulsed around him. It felt so good, so pure. The feeling blinded her such that her vision was filled only with him. Her fingers gripped his back desperately as he moved, slowly at first, letting her get used to the feel of him. She never wanted to come down. She wanted to stay in that moment forever.

He kissed her eyes, her nose, her lips and cheeks, breathing nothings and caressing every curve his hands could reach and when he felt her loosen up, he started to move again, very slowly until he felt her hips moving together. He wanted to provide her as much pleasure as he could. At that he increased his pace, just a little, and brought one of Diana's legs to rest around his back. The new angle caused him to slip a little further and her breathings became shallow, her nails digging into his back and she pushed up to meet him.

Increasing the pace more, Clark leaned down to kiss her, and Diana pulled his bottom lip into her mouth, teasing it with her teeth and tongue. He moved harder, more confident of what she wanted, what she needed.

Diana's other leg had come to join the first one around Clark. When he felt her walls clutching around him, her legs pressing his back and her hips moving so sensually, bucking her hips, joining him in his frantic pace. She couldn't use her hands but she could still use the rest of her body and she clenched her walls around him, jerking her hips up and down, their movements becoming erratic as they chased the ultimate release. Her whole body was trembling but she felt the fourth orgasm rising up in her.

She felt as though his body already knew hers, as though they had been lovers for years. Everything he did felt wonderful. Every place he touched lit her on fire.

As she moved steadily closer to her end, he took each of her hands in his, intertwining their fingers. He whispered and gasped sweet nothings in her ear, and she took the opportunity to gently suck on the skin of his neck, wanting to leave her mark on him.

With an almost primal growl, she felt him driving her forward towards that edge and she knew he was close. His thrusts hitting her so deep, she cried out louder. Looking up at him above her, his face intent but also awash with enjoyment, she realized that was exactly where she wanted to be. His ocean blue eyes sent her over, arching against him as she clung to his hands in desperation. He followed her, like one soul pulling the other into a waterfall of sensation. She heard him say her name, although she had no idea what she said in return. She had lost the ability to hear, to see, to even think – all she could do was feel as she rode waves of ecstasy in a sea of pleasure.

Her walls gripping him so hard, quivers rushing through her body, knocking the breath out of her and she felt a last powerful thrust before he followed her.

Afterwards, they collapsed together in a pile of tangled limbs. They remained like that for a while, him still inside her, trying to gain his breathing and her trying to collect her thoughts, to understand what had just taken place. They had just made love.

Clark turned them over so Diana could lay her head on his chest and she listened intently to his heartbeat as it slowly calmed down from their exertions.

She looked up at him and reached up to kiss him softly.

"Today has been quite intriguing and invigorating. Quite calming yet unexpected in a very, very good way."

"I'm glad you feel that way, Diana. I meant what I said earlier in the field."

"I want this, Clark. This is part of why I left. For experience. I didn't know if that was actually possible once I got here and my focus was just being Wonder Woman. But you've opened something more for me."

Clark kissed her again. "We have a few hours then we'll go out to dinner as just Clark and Diana."

"I will be in my uniform?"

"No, don't worry. I can find you something to wear."

Diana smiled and sat up straddling him. Clark immediately placed his hands on her hips.

"Then in the mean time, I would like to continue like this."

She gave him a look of lust, leaning down kissing him as she slowly lowered herself down on him.

2 hours later...

Water cascading down into the tub from the metallic shower head, the bathroom steaming, Clark leaned against the cool solid glass as he watched her under the nozzle. Her eyes were closed and water was dripping from her eyelashes as if they were an umbrella. Her luscious lips were closed, pursed as if she was contemplating something. The driplets raced down her long neck and he had a thought that her breasts shining with the water was one of the most provocative sights he had ever seen. Clark let out a shaky sigh and alerted by it, Diana opened her eyes and looked at him, giving him a smile. And that smile looked so gorgeous on her it was almost intoxicating.

Clark moved closer to her and slid his hands all over Diana's body. Diana pressed against him as he put his arms around her. His hands went up and down her back. Diana embraced him tighter and reached down stroking him. Clark kissed her fiercely, yet passionately begging for more access, which she granted. They washed each other's were really hot and it wasn't because of the steam coming from the shower.

The warmth between their bodies overpowers the already hot shower.

When their lips separated, Clark places kisses on the right side of her neck. Moaning from his kisses, Diana puts her hands on his hands, which became still on her breasts. She tried to move them, so he can play with them more, but alas, he was just too strong. Not in strength alone, but he sucked on a special spot on her neck that he recognized from earlier. Diana leaned her head, softly moaning his name even louder.

Clark pulled away, which made Diana groan in protest.

"You like this," he teased licking her earlobe, hearing her gasp in pleasure.

To be with with each other like this so intimately, under the spray of water, feeling her body against his and his against hers. Hearing each other's moans and groans under the water and hands making slippery trails down each other's body to touch as if there was no tomorrow. It was magical.

45 minutes later...

Clark sighed happily as he buttoned up his shirt. Diana was sitting on the bed still wrapped in a towel watching him get dressed.

"Right here in this room, I thought about giving up Clark Kent completely. But I like being Clark Kent. I like who I am and who my parents were. So I came up with the idea of a dual identity. I thought about wearing a mask like Bruce does." He ruffled his hair. "But as close as we are, Batman's going for something different than I am. I'd rather good people trust me than bad people fear me." He put on his glasses. "I think they need to see your eyes for that. So Clark Kent wears the mask instead of Superman."

He picked up Martha's unprescribed reading glasses with a smile handing them to Diana.

"Here. Try it."

She looked at him questionably.

"Come on, Diana..." He flashed his charming smile again. "And the dress. You are taller than Ma and uh... more..." he paused. "I still believe it can fit."

It was a black v-neck sheath casual wrap dress.

She smiled not able to resist and she knew he knew she couldn't.

"I'll be right back."

Clark grinned wider watching her. He couldn't believe how fast things have changed in the last week. Diana is such an extraordinarily beautiful woman. He could truly see a future with her and hoped it truly could lead to that.

"Ma, Pa...I really wish you were here. I told you before, I few days ago. I really am in love with her."

"Clark?" He heard her soft voice call.

He looked up and caught sight of Diana as she came back into the room.

"Wow..."

She was breathtakingly gorgeous. The dress fit perfectly, showing all of her curves. And damn, how she made wearing glasses so sexy. She walked over to him and stood in front of him wondering what to say next.

Clark smiled and placed his hands on her waist.

"So, this is the look for Diana Prince."

"You like it?"

"I do..." she kissed him.

"Let's go, Ms. Prince. So you can make your grand debut in Metropolis."

Diana giggled. Maybe she could get used to this.

Metropolis Seafood Grill

Clark Kent and Diana Prince were seated at a middle table. The restaurant was actually quite crowded.

The waiter brought them breadsticks and butter with their glasses or wine. Then took their orders and as they waited, Diana kept looking around surprised.

"Clark?"

"Yeah?"

She smiled. "It actually works!"

He smiled back. "I know."

"How? Why?"

Well I'd guess most of the time when they do get a look at us, they see us from far away or they're looking up at us from the ground. More important, I don't think people ever consider that we-"

"...Hide among them?"

"No, not hide. I just don't think people imagine we have a life outside the Justice League. They think it's Superman and Wonder Woman 24/7."

"It is for me."

"If I had an extended family like yours, maybe I'd be for me, too. But even a goddess needs a dinner out, Diana."

"I've never had one. Not like this."

Clark placed his hand over hers. "Hopefully, it's the first of many. We can just blend in...together."

At that moment, it was as if time had stopped. Suddenly, it was just Clark and Diana staring into each other's eyes lovingly. This was truly the start of something extraordinarily beautiful for both of them.
