Chapter Twelve

Night One

First night on Boiling Isles, Danielle ends up cuddling Luz in her sleep during the middle of the night.

Night Two

Second night on Boiling Isles, much the same as the first, Danielle cuddles Luz during the middle of the night.

Night Three

Third night on Boiling Isles, King sleeps too close and gets pulled into a cuddle by Danielle, while petting his belly.

"Weh!" said King, still half asleep before feeling that sensation he always does whenever Danielle pulls him into an embrace. "Never mind."

Night Four

Fourth night on Boiling Isles, yielded a more complex situation.

"Uh…" said Luz, feeling a slight weight on her chest. "Danielle…"

Turns out, Danielle had cuddled Luz, but had shifted to where she was laying half on Luz, her head snuggling into Luz's chest.

"Better you than me right now," said King, looking at Luz while still half asleep.

Night Five

The fifth night was slightly crazier. King was squished between Luz and Danielle.

"Help me…" said King, trying to get out from between Luz and Danielle.

"Would if I could," said Luz, trying to get out of Danielle's grip. "Her grip is stronger than I thought."

"Mmmmm," said Danielle, cuddling further into the two.

"There we go," said Luz, getting herself and King free.

"Now what do we do with Danielle?" asked King, staring at a sleeping Danielle. "I don't want to be in that position again."

"I know," said Luz, snapping her fingers. "Follow my lead."

Slowly getting Danielle up, Luz and King walk Danielle on up to the third floor. With King opening the door to Eda's room slowly, Luz slowly but surely leads Danielle to Eda's nest. Slowly laying Danielle into Eda's nest, Luz and King slowly tiptoe away and back to their room. Feeling something press against her, Eda wakes up and notices Danielle cuddling her.

"Luz…" said Eda, grunting. "King…"

Night Six

The sixth night… well…

"Is every night going to be like this?" asked Luz, trying to position herself better after Danielle cuddled herself into her back. "Much better position."

"Speak for yourself," said King, stuck between the two girls. "I should have stayed at the foot of the bed."

Night Seven

Seventh night… Luz and King bared with it.

"Mmmm," said Danielle, nuzzling her head into Luz's chest.

"I really don't have it in me to put her in Eda's room tonight," said Luz, patting Danielle's head.

"You and me both," said King, cuddling Francois after what happened dealing with Eda in Owl Beast form.

Night Eight

Eight night… … …

"Alright," whispered Luz, slowly laying Danielle into Eda's nest. "Heave-ho…"

"Let's go," whispered King, already at the door, both sneaking out the door.

"What the…" said Eda, feeling Danielle cuddle her. "Luz… King… get back here."

Unfortunately, Eda heard Luz and King scamper back to their room in a hurry after hearing her. Waiting for some time, Eda hefted Danielle over her shoulder before heading back down to the girls room. Gingerly placing Danielle down, Eda sneaks out the door.

"Revenge is sweet," thought Eda, walking away from the girls room.

Night Nine

Ninth night… … …

"Okay," whispered Luz, holding Danielle still while King opened the door to Eda's room. "Slowly… slowly…"

"Weh?" said King, seeing Eda stare at him and Luz.

"Back to your room," said Eda, glaring at the two while pointing out the room.

"Hehehe," said Luz and King, closing the door and heading back to their room.

Night Ten

Tenth night… …

"Those two will be cleaning Hooty today for this," said Eda, hefting Danielle over her shoulder for the second time this night.

Night Eleven

Eleventh night yielded at lot of back and forth between the girls room and Eda's room. Besides Danielle, everyone was buck tired by the end of it.

Night Twelve

Twelve night… … … …

"Ugh," said Eda, letting it slide for the night and just letting Danielle cuddle her. "I'm thinking… Danielle needs her own room."

Night Thirteen

Thirteen night…

""Aaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!" screamed Danielle, waking up and startling everyone within the house awake.

"Weh…" said King, his fur standing on end. "What happened? Why is she screaming?"

"I-I don't know," said Luz, seeing Danielle clutch her blanket close to her, quivering in fear. "Danielle…?"

"What's happened?" shouted Hooty, bursting through the window and seeing Danielle quivering in fear. "Hooohooo."

"What happened?" shouted Eda, slamming the door open in a panic before seeing Danielle. "Nightmare?"

"No no no no no," said Danielle, pulling her blanket close like a lifeline. "Buio... abisso... sta per... sta per…"

"Whoa whoa," said Eda, walking over to Danielle and bending down. "Everything's okay, we're here."

"No no no no no," said Danielle, scooting to a corner of the room, her hazel eyes shifting to a transparent white. "Non toccarmi. È là fuori... è là fuori... mi aspetta..."

"Danielle, calm down," said Luz, about to touch Danielle only for her to flinch away. "We can help if you don't calm down some."

"Aster… Ho lasciato Aster con quella cosa... Aster," said Danielle, trying to get past everyone who was keeping her in place. "Devo... devo andare da Aster. Non dovrebbe... non dovrebbe essere vicino a quella cosa."

"Danielle, calm down," said Eda, struggling to keep Danielle in place. "Calm down."

"I'll let you pet me if that's help," said King, trying to hold her leg in place.

"How is she so strong?" asked Hooty, wrapped somewhat around Danielle.

"No, l'ho lasciato tutto solo con quella cosa. Devo... devo..." said Danielle, getting out of everyone's grip and lunging outside the door. "Aster… Aster!"

"Got her," said Hooty, grabbing the back of Danielle's pajama shirt.

"Aster…" said Danielle, before her hazel eyes shifted to a solid white and the Young Girl's voice over laced her own. "Do not interfere."

"Huh…" said Luz, hearing the voice shift. "Did Danielle's voice just…"

"Do not interfere," said Danielle/Young Girl, staring back at the group. "You will not interfere."

"Okay, play time is over," said Eda, drawing a spell circle. "Nappy time."

"You will not," said Danielle/Young Girl, eyes slowly closing. "In…ter…fere…"

"There we go," said Hooty, wrapping himself around a sleeping Danielle before placing her back into a sleeping position near Luz's sleeping bag. "Hoot."

"What was that?" asked King, staring at Danielle. "That's not like her."

"I don't know," replied Eda, pinching the bridge of her nose. "But whatever it is, it can't be good."

Night Fourteen

Night fourteen was normal for a change… nope mistaken.

"I think we need to talk with Eda," said Luz, her head cuddled into Danielle's chest.

"Hahahaha," said King, seeing the embarrassing position Luz was in.

Night Fifteen

Fifteen night didn't go as Luz and King thought. They had shifted Danielle into Eda's nest but didn't take into account that she was prepared. Grabbing a hold of Luz and King, Eda pulled them into the nest.

"Nice try you two," said Eda, before Danielle somehow cuddled all three of them.

"How is she even cuddling all three of us?" asked King, stuffed between all the woman.

"Get comfy you two," said Eda, snuggling against her nest. "You ain't going nowhere tonight."

"Ugh…" said Luz and King, before settling as best they could in Eda's nest while Danielle cuddled them.

Night Sixteen

Night Sixteen, everyone was stuck in Eda's room when a barrier mysteriously covered the whole nest.

"Yeah, we going to need to give Danielle her own room," said Eda, getting her arms loose.

"Maybe the one across the hall," said Luz, wriggling into a somewhat better position. "We can access each other's room easily between me and Danielle."

"Sound plan," said King, popping out of the cuddle.
