Chapter Thirty-Six
Pain… that is all Danielle felt was pain since Dark touched her. Waking up, Danielle looks around and sees nothing but an endless sky before her. A white butterfly flies her way before landing on Danielle's finger. Then the scenery changes. Before her was a giant stadium with a cooking competition going on. Looking down, Danielle notices a specific person.
"Ru-chan," said Danielle, staring down at a young Ru-chan from the stands before hearing the announcer.
"And there you have it folks," said a Male Announcer, gesturing to Ru-chan. "First year student of the middle school division Yuumi Hikaru has beaten Kurokiba Ryu. Since Kurokiba Ryu bet his second seat on the line, Yuumi Hikaru is the new second seat of the Tōtsuki Council of Ten. This makes her the second youngest member since headmaster Nakiri Erina became a member during her middle school years."
"Whoa, no wonder Ru-chan such an amazing cook," said Danielle, before the scenery started to change.
Now before Danielle was a long hallway. Looking down a different hallway, Danielle walks down before coming across a little boy with white dragon wings reading a book. Unfortunately, the little boy wasn't watching where he was going and bumped into an elderly man.
"You should be watching where you walk," said the Elderly Man, glaring at the little boy.
"Sorry Master Doma," said the Little Boy, looking at the floor before seeing another elderly man walking nearby. "Master Org…"
"Ethari, you have better things to do than bother Org," said Doma, glaring at the little boy. "Shouldn't you be training under Jura right now?"
"I know but…" said Ethari, holding up the book. "I wanted to read this book… aah."
"You've read that book plenty of times," said Doma, slapping the book out of Ethari's hands. "Now go! Before I decide to do your training today instead."
"Yes, Master Doma," said Ethari, running down the hall away from Doma before singing a song he heard a pretty lady sing one day in his room.
Words are born into air
And quickly fade out in the wind
But they find their way inside you
Where they live on forevermore
When the skies are dark and full of rain
Look inside your heart
A light so warm and all aglow
Shining just like the sun
You can see just how much you've grown
How strong you are
Love will open up to you
And it starts from the day that you
First heard those words
"Oooh… Ethari," said Danielle, following after him before the scenery changed when Ethari entered a door.
Before Danielle now was a vast field. In certain areas of the fields, monsters were walking about. A lady garbed in a long flowing white dress is sitting in a patch of flowers weaving a flower crown. A young girl with wolf ears and tail is hopping about in the flowers.
"Lotus, be careful," said the White Lady, picking a flower to attach to the crown. "There are hornets and fairies nearby."
"Okay," said Lotus, running down towards a river. "Hehehehe."
"My goodness, such a curious little wereanimal," said the White Lady, before hearing Lotus scream. "Lotus!"
"Sharron!" shouted Lotus, a bunch of pink frogs holding a lily pad nearing her. "Go… go away!"
"Prism!" shouted Sharron, sending four balls of light spinning around Lotus for protection before sending blades of winds towards the pink frogs. "Sonic Wind!"
"Whoa…" said Lotus, seeing the pink frogs flying through the air and away from her while dropping their lily pads. "Sharron, that was so cool!"
"Are you hurt?" asked Sharron, bending down and checking on Lotus. "No injuries. What made those ribbitee hunters attack you?"
"I found these pretty crystals," replied Lotus, holding some green crystals in her hands. "I'd thought you would like them."
"I'm just glad you're okay," said Sharron, pulling Lotus into a hug before pulling out a wrapped bundle of cloth and untying it. "Let's get something to eat. Here, your favorite, grilled sunsquid."
"Thanks Sharron," said Lotus, biting into the fish.
"Aaaaw, Lotus is adorable," said Danielle, the scenery changing again before spotting Caius nearby. "Now what? Nooo, not the scary knight again!"
Turns out, there was a celebration going on in a ballroom in a castle. People were dancing, playing music, and just mingling. One peculiar person, a blonde-haired man had a few women flirting with him. There was black haired man that secluded himself away from everyone by sitting on a windowsill, looking outside.
"Something doesn't seem right with him," said Danielle, walking over to the black-haired man. "He looks like he's on edge and lonely."
"Let's eat together," said a Young Lady with a raccoon tail and ears, walking over with a plate of food. "Master Naofumi, have a bite."
"No, I…" said Naofumi, only for the young lady with the raccoon tail and ears to hold out the fork with a piece of pie on it.
"It's really good, you know," said the Young Raccoon Lady, getting Naofumi to eat the piece of pie. "See?"
"Naofumi…" said the Blonde-Haired Man, taking off his glove and tossing it at Naofumi. "Duel me."
"Great," said Caius, eyeing the Blonde-Haired Man. "The Spear Hero is thinking with his dick again. Can't he take a hint?"
"I heard that Raphtalia your slave," said the Blonde-Haired Man, glaring at Naofumi.
"Slave?!" said Danielle, staring at the now named Young Raccoon Lady.
"And what if she is?" said Naofumi, glaring at the Blonde-Haired Man.
"You…" said the Blond-Haired Man, still glaring at Naofumi.
"Raphtalia is my slave. So, what," said Naofumi, staring at the Blonde-Haired Man.
"Listen! It's not right to enslave others!" shouted the Blonde-Haired Man, gripping his spear.
"I have to agree," said Danielle, staring at the Blonde-Haired Man. "Slavery is wrong but if this is similar to the Middle Ages, then most nobles and royals didn't give two shits. It would take years to abolish slavery and even if it was abolished who wouldn't say there wouldn't be a secret black market for them."
"Slavery is legal in this country, anyway," said Naofumi, staring at the Blonde-Haired Man.
"But we're heroes from another world!" said the Blonde-Haired Man, staring at Naofumi. "We can't behave that way here!"
"Eh, they were isekai'd here!" said Danielle, staring between Naofumi and the Blonde-Haired Man.
"That's just your opinion," said Naofumi, looking at the Blonde-Haired Man. "I disagree."
"This is gonna escalate into a fight," said Danielle, massaging her forehead with her fingers. "I wish I could do something but I think these are someone's memories."
"Fight me!" said the Blonde-Haired Man, pointing his spear at Naofumi. "If I win, free Raphtalia."
"And what if I win?" asked Naofumi, staring at the Blonde-Haired Man.
"Then… you can keep things as they are," replied the Blonde-Haired Man, staring at Naofumi.
"Ridiculous," said Naofumi, walking away.
"Master Naofumi," said Raphtalia, walking after Naofumi.
"How many heroes were summoned?" said Danielle, noticing two young men talking amongst themselves.
"I overheard your conversation," said a King, walking towards the balcony and looking down at Naofumi. "A hero, using a demi-human as his slave? It seems you are rotten to the core."
"What…" said Danielle, looking at Naofumi closely and seeing the light within being white with tones of gray and black growing within the light. "But… his light… it's… they're making it worse. Are they falsely accusing him of things he hasn't done?"
"Damn, when is Queen Mirellia going to get back?" thought Caius, glaring at the King. "This a queendom, you damn consort! And your eldest daughter will die before I even allow her on that throne."
"Oh gosh," said Danielle, still hearing Caius's thoughts. "What has happened to Caius for him to be like this?"
"I order you to accept his challenge!" said the King, staring at Naofumi.
"Order? Order?!" said Danielle, getting angry at the King. "Glad this is a memory cause I'm going to say this, shove it up your damn ass!"
"That won't be necessary!" said Raphtalia, looking at the King. "I'm with Master Naofumi of my own free will."
"Raphtalia!" said Danielle, seeing a knight cover her mouth. "Will the queen coming back even help? Cause it seems like they just want to put Naofumi down without listening to him."
"What are you playing at?!" shouted Naofumi, two spears stopping him.
"Poor girl. You've been placed under a curse that compels you to defend your master," said the King, staring at Raphtalia. "Don't worry. Once Sir Motoyasu wins, we shall release you from that curse."
"Hey! Knock it off!" shouted Naofumi, pushing through the knights.
"That's quite enough," said Caius, stopping the knights swords with his spear.
"Knight Caius," said the King, glaring at Caius. "What is the meaning of this?"
"Raphtalia is my slave," said Caius, staring up at the King. "I gave the Shield Hero secondary custody of her during the wave."
"Caius," said Raphtalia, knowing that Caius was lying on her behalf.
"Why do such a thing?" asked the King, still glaring.
"All four heroes need to be alive to fight off the waves," replied Caius, bowing to the King. "If any of the heroes were to die, the waves will be that much stronger. Since the Shield Hero had no companions as of yet, I thought it best he at least had someone during his first wave."
"I see your point," said the King, rubbing his chin.
"But since Sir Motoyasu here is trying to take her away, that means he is also challenging me," said Caius, looking at the King than the Blonde-Haired Man. "So, what will it be Sir Motoyasu? Will you challenge me as well?"
"Okay maybe Caius isn't all that bad," said Danielle, smiling before the scenery changed again. "How many more?"
A vast field with a nearby forest and river laid before Danielle. A young man was hastily walking away from another young man.
"Kratos, you can't be serious going back to Cruxis," said the Young Man, walking after the other young man. "You know what they are doing to the humans."
"Stop following me," said Kratos, gripping his sword.
"Going through with Mithos's plan is crazy," said the Young Man, walking faster. "Do you really think Martel wants this? Do you really think Anna…"
"Do not talk about my wife and child like you knew them. Do not talk about Martel like you knew her. You were not there," said Kratos, unsheathing his sword and pointing at the young man. "Keep talking, I'll be glad to add you to the Angelus Project human."
"Is that a threat?" asked the Young Man, grabbing his bow. "I asked you, is that a threat?"
Readying his sword, Kratos lunges forward only for the young man to use his bow to parry Kratos's attack. Conjuring arrows made of lightning, the young man shoots three arrows at Kratos. Slashing the arrows in half, Kratos sends two sword blasts toward the young man. Gripping his bow, the young man separates it into two blades and slashes at the incoming attack.
"Stop this Kratos," said the Young Man, feeling pain and a symbol to flash on his forehead. "You're taking this too far. You're going to…"
"Super Lightning Blade!" shouted Kratos, about to strike the young man before a burst of magic came off him. "What the…?"
Kratos and Danielle stare at the young man. The young man reminded Danielle of when she met the Young Girl that looked like her. The young man's body was white and astral like. His hair was white and his eyes were white as well. Star markings adorned the whole length of his arms and feet and were also across his face. The symbol that Danielle saw was on his forehead glowing brightly.
"What am I seeing here?" said Danielle, staring at the young man shocked. "What does this mean?"
"Ori…" said Kratos, before noticing the young man's ears. "Elf…"
Just then, the scenery changed again. Danielle sees a battlefield with a crater in the center. Looking over the edge, Danielle loses her footing and tumbles down to the bottom of the crater.
"Ow," said Danielle, sitting up before seeing two men in the center of the crater, one on top of the other. "Aah, nosebleed."
"Well, give up yet human?" said the younger of the two men, hand on the other man's chest, his fist raised and his wings flared out.
"Hahahahaha," laughed the Older Man, before blowing his cigarette smoke at the Younger Man.
"That stuff will kill ya," said the Younger Man, waving the smoke away before a piece of cloth was thrown in his face. "What's this?"
"No one has bested me in a long time," said the Older Man, still laughing. "Welcome to the Black Bulls."
"What… Black Bulls?" said Danielle, confused.
"What's your name kid?" asked the Older Man, staring at the younger man.
"Namari," replied the Younger Man, before tossing the cloth down. "And I'm not joining her country's stupid magic system."
"Please let this be the last one," said Danielle, the scenery changing one more time before shivering. "Cold! Achoo!"
A bunch of teens were in a courtyard, spread out practicing their magic. One teen, in peculiar was walking away after his peers belittled him.
"What am I doing wrong?" asked the Young Teen, leaning against the castle wall. "I'm doing everything right. What am I lacking?"
"You're not really lacking," said a Young Man, jumping down from the curtain wall, slowing his descent with wind magic and staring at the Young Teen. "You're letting their words affect you. Ignore them and believe in yourself. You have great potential within you Framaus. You just have to find it."
"Dang it," said Danielle, seeing the Young Teen say the Young Man's name but couldn't hear it. "Why can't I hear his name? I couldn't even hear it the last time I saw him."
And again, the scenery changed. Looking around, Danielle noticed she was inside of a tree that was hollowed out and styled into a circular grand hall. A large crystal with several smaller crystals, styled like various flowers, acted like a light source. And underneath that light source was a large circular table with chairs and people sitting in them.
"Ru-chan," said Danielle, recognizing the woman and running over to hug her.
"Nice to see you too," said Ru-chan, hugging Danielle back.
"Hikaru, we have much to discuss with her," said Caius, staring at the two.
"You're right," said Ru-chan, gesturing Danielle to a seat.
"I'm assuming you saw memories of ours," said a Young Man, looking at Danielle from the head of the table. "How many of our names have you heard?"
"Yes," said Danielle, sitting down and staring at everyone. "I've think I heard everyone but your name."
"She heard all our names," said the only other woman at the table, showing her sharp canines. "Even so, let's still introduce ourselves for clarity's sake. Starting from… you."
"Alright," said a Young Teen, standing up and smiling. "My name is Ori, an elf from Aselia."
Ori stood at 5'9 7/8". Looked to be about 24 years old. Had ear length green hair, cognac-colored eyes and a copper complexion. Had a lean yet somewhat muscular build. Wore a burgundy tunic and grey pants. Knee length brown boots and a brown cloak. Had a leather bracer on his left arm and had white fingerless gloves. Had pointy ears.
"But that world…" said Danielle, looking at Ori then seeing Ru-chan stand up.
"You already now me but let me introduce myself again," said Ru-chan, smiling at Danielle. "My name is Hikaru Yuumi. I am human just like you are. I live in the Tohoku region of Japan."
Hikaru stood at 5' 7 ½". Looked to be 27 years old. Had a somewhat voluptuous build. Had waist length black hair with a blue sheen with a pink/mint green butterfly pink clip on the left side, blue eyes, and a light complexion. Wore a kimono like shirt that exposed a little of her cleavage, a white butterfly pattern that faded to mint green than pink towards the cuffs and hem, pink capris, and flat mint green shoes. Had a gold wedding ring on her left finger and wore light pink lipstick.
"You forgot to mention these D-cup bad boys," said the other woman, fondling Hikaru's breasts.
"Lo-Lotus, please stop that," said Hikaru, getting out of Lotus's hold. "Have some decorum here."
"Aw, come on," said Lotus, looking at Hikaru than Danielle. "Danielle reads those yaoi books."
"Um…" said Danielle, blushing at what she just saw. "That's because those are cartoonish drawings. I don't think I can handle the real thing without going tomato red here."
"I guess you're still innocent in that regard," said Lotus, sitting down and looking at Danielle. "Bet I can help you find a real man."
"Oh, my lanta," said Danielle, blushing while covering her eyes in embarrassment. "Make it stop."
"On to me then," said the Winged Man, standing up proudly. "The name is Namari. A beastman that has close ties to the phoenixes of yore, and a member of the blasted Black Bulls. Still had fun though."
Namari stood at 7'9 ¾". Looked to be 21 years old. Had wavy deep red chest length hair with half pulled up in a bun, a tanned light complexion, and heterochromia eyes with the right eye being blue and the left eye being green. Had a somewhat muscular build. Had a black mantle with gold trimmings with a skeletal bull symbol hanging off his left shoulder and is attached to his right shoulder by gold strings. Had leather arm bracers with white wrappings on his arms. Wore deep red trousers with a burnt orange sash holding it in place. Was barefooted and had short pointy ears. Had large deep red wings with hints of yellow and orange, giving off an impression of a fire, and sharp claws and toenails.
"Glad he and the other men don't look like bodybuilders," thought Danielle, eyeing Namari then the others men. "I could never understand why bodybuilders make themselves look like that. All muscles and no fat is kinda scary and creepy to me."
"We can hear your thoughts Little One," said Namari, chuckling.
"Oh mio," said Danielle, slightly blushing.
"Eh, it's alright," said Namari, sitting down. "Nothing wrong with staying in shape but going overboard like that is too much for me. Nothing wrong with a little fat."
"All right, my turn," said Caius, standing up and gripping his sword. "My name is Caius Wolfbane. I am a knight of Melromarc and quarter demi-human. I look forward to training you."
"Uh…hehehe," said Danielle, nervously chuckling.
"That it," said Namari, looking at Caius. "Yeesh, loosen up with your introductions like us. You're too stiff."
"Well then, I'm Ethari of the Fairy Tail Guild. I'm half dragon and half human," said Ethari, jumping onto the table and grabbing Danielle's hand. "Please to meet your acquaintance M'lady."
"Meep," said Danielle, blushing up a storm.
Ethari stood at 6' 4 7/18". Looked to be 18 years old. Had neck length white hair with the right side pulled up into a ponytail, olive complexion, and pink eyes. Had the body of an idol. Wore an opened midriff dark blue sleeveless open vest with white trim, white billowing pants, dark blue calf length boots. A purple Fairy tail mark was on his sternum. Had a small gold hoop earring with a small emerald piece in the center on his right earlobe. Had large white dragon wings. Had sharp pointy canines, pointy ears and sharp claws.
"I'mma gonna pass out," said Danielle, before pushing Ethari away. "Too close… oh my gosh, I'm so sorry."
"That's okay," said Ethari, righting himself. "Gotta remember you don't interact with guys that much."
"I'm next. Name's Lotus, nice to mee'cha. Quarter earthmate with the rest being wereanimal," said Lotus, showing off her fangs. "Can ya guess what animal I am? I'll give you a hint… Aroooooo!"
"I'm guessing wolf," said Danielle, slightly chuckling before Lotus appeared behind her and fondled her breasts. "Aaah!"
"Not bad," said Lotus, going back to her seat. "I think you'll be in the upper end of the C-cup when full grown. I'm very much D-cup like Hikaru here, just a little bit smaller that is.
"Please don't do that again," said Danielle, covering her chest.
Lotus stood at 5' 8". Looked to be 21 years old. Had waist length messy purple hair, a light olive complexion, and amber eyes. Wore a kimono like white midriff shirt with a red honeycomb design showing off her cleavage, red micro shorts with a gold rope tied around the waist holding it in place. Had black tekkou gloves with gold trim and opened toed sandals. Had sharp looking claws and toenails.
"Oooo, I can't wait to begin training you," said Lotus, eyeing Danielle. "We're gonna have so much fun."
"Help me," whispered Danielle, looking at Hikaru.
"If she becomes too much for you, just call me and I'll come," said Hikaru, looking at Danielle.
"Grazie," said Danielle, looking at Hikaru.
"And I'm last. My name is," said the Young Man, looking at Danielle. "I am a half elf. I hail from the land of Lorimar which is now Altena."
The Young Man was wearing different attire today. Still wore the same hat from last time. Looked to be 20 years old. Wore a dark green tunic under a sleeveless tan jacket, long dark green laced gloves, brown pants, and dark green boots. Had a quiver slung to his back with feathered arrows.
"I still couldn't get your name," said Danielle, looking apologetic. "Sorry."
"That's quite all right," said the Young Man, looking at Danielle. "It's probably not time for you to learn my name."
"Are you kidding me?" said Caius, angry. "She should have heard it by now."
"I don't understand," said Danielle, everyone looking at her. "Aselia, Altena, Earthmate, and Fairy Tail. Those things are from games and animes I've played and watched. They're make believe, so how are they…"
"I've said it that day and I'll say it again. Every myth you humans have is caused by a little of our world leaking into yours," said the Young Man, looking at Danielle. "Meaning stuff from our worlds leaking into the minds of people to others worlds. From that, they were able to tell the story of our worlds into the various animes, games, or books that you read. But not all of them, some of them are really make believe."
"I wonder what other ones exist," said Danielle, wondering which animes, games, and books were real.
"Get that stuff out of your head right now," said Caius, glaring at Danielle. "There are important matters than some stupid cartoons."
"Yes sir," said Danielle, rubbing her arm nervously. "Wait, I'm not dead, am I? Oh no, my magic killed me."
"You are not dead sweetie," said Hikaru, looking at Danielle. "You are still very much alive."
"Then, where am I?" asked Danielle, looking at Hikaru.
"Danielle, listen carefully. You are within your mind, a deeper sector where we reside," said the Young Man, staring at Danielle. "We are who you use to be at one point."
"Wait…" said Danielle, looking at everyone. "Then you are…"
"We are your past lives," said the Young Man, looking at Danielle. "From the order of our introductions, you can tell where we place on the line of mortal reincarnation."
"So, I was Ori last," said Danielle, looking at Ori. "Then that man was Kratos Aurion you were trying to stop."
"Correct," said Ori, looking at Danielle. "And unlike what Kratos said, I did know Martel."
"We all saw a lot of things in our lives," said Namari, twirling a lock of hair. "And had to endure tough lives."
"Whoa," said Danielle, sparkly eyed.
"You want to know why plants grew so much better with you," said Lotus, looking at Danielle. "It's because my earthmate abilities transcended down to you."
"But I'm not an earthmate," said Danielle, confused.
"You don't have to be," said Ethari, looking at Danielle. "You've gained abilities from each of us."
"Huh…" said Danielle, still confused.
"From me, you gained my cooking abilities," said Hikaru, looking at Danielle. "Even if I helped when you thought I was your imaginary friend and guardian spirit."
"From me, it was being able to grow amazing crops and anything to do with plant life," said Lotus, before chuckling. "Man, it was funny when your dad saw your garden for the first time. I thought his eyes were going to pop out."
"But why do I have these abilities?" asked Danielle, looking at everyone. "And do I have my own that are not yours?"
"To help you in your life somewhat and prepare you," replied the Young Man, looking at Danielle. "Your hugs are your own ability, being able to calm and soothe a person or animal down to their soul."
"And hearing animals?" asked Danielle, staring at the Young Man. "What other abilities did I gain from everyone?"
"Hearing animals is something we all have as well as seeing spirits and ghosts. As to what abilities you gained from us, you'll learn eventually," said the Young Man, looking at Danielle.
"What am I being prepared for?" asked Danielle, looking at the Young Man.
"To fight Dark and claim the Scarlet Eyes," replied the Young Man, staring at Danielle.
"Scarlet Eyes… … but…" said Danielle, remembering the story Aster told her. "Are you saying I'm…"
"Light," said the Young Man, him and the others taking on an astral form. "We are the mortal incarnation of Light themself."
"No no no-no-no," said Danielle, scared and standing up. "I'm me. A normal girl wanting to live a normal life. I'm not…"
"ENOUGH!" shouted Caius, scaring Danielle. "Stop denying who you are! We have all come to accept that we are Light when it happened. It's time for you to accept it as well."
"No, I don't," said Danielle, clenching her hands into fists.
"We will each be training you within our sector within your mind," said the Young Man, tapping the table and a seven-point star glowing on it. "Each point represents our domain here. Clockwise is the order with me at the top point."
"And the center?" asked Danielle, looking at the Young Man.
"The center is you," replied the Young Man, looking at Danielle. "The current incarnation."
"Please stop…" said Danielle, getting teary eyed. "I'm not…"
"We are your Vanguards, to make sure no one harms your mind and memories," said Ethari, sighing. "Certain parts of your imaginations have some sentient that they will act as guards and protectors."
"Minus Hikari, we'll be teaching you magic from our worlds since you're not bound to magic from a single world," said Ori, looking at Danielle.
"I expect you to come up with original techniques that are not from those animes, books and games," said Caius, staring at Danielle.
"I'm not…" said Danielle, teary eyed.
"You'll going to be experiencing more pain since Dark touched you," said Namari, confusing Danielle. "Dark furthered your awakening. Your magic will expand and increasing rapidly."
"What?" said Danielle, shocked. "What's going to happen when my body can no longer hold it?"
"You'll slowly lose your mortal form," replied Lotus, looking downcast. "Depending if your conscious is still there when fully awakened, you won't be able to go back to being a mortal."
"I don't… I'm me…" said Danielle, before shouting. "Sono umano! Sono Danielle!"
"Danielle, sweetie, calm down," said Hikaru, walking over and pulling Danielle into a hug. "It will be okay."
"No!" shouted Danielle, getting out of the hug and running towards the doors.
"Get the hell back here!" shouted Caius, about to run after Danielle only for the Young Man to put his arm in front of him. "Why are you stopping me Aethyr?"
"Leave her be for now. This is a lot to take in," replied the Young Man, looking at Caius. "Besides, her magic needs to stabilize before even attempting to train her or her pain will be that much worse."
Pushing the doors open and running down a long flight of stairs, Danielle runs out into the open of her mind. Through a forest, near a river, and into an open field with flowers, Danielle falls to her knees.
"This can't be happening. I'm me, I'm me," said Danielle, crying. "I'm not Light."
"Pika," said a creature, looking at Danielle.
"Vee," said another creature, concerned and looking at Danielle.
"Huh… Pikachu… Eevee…" said Danielle, seeing the two pokémon before pulling them into a hug and crying into their fur.
"Pikapi," said Pikachu, placing a paw on Danielle's cheek.
"Vee," said Eevee, cuddling into Danielle's chin.
"Too much… the pain from my magic… it's too much, it hurts," said Danielle, laying on her side before disappearing from her mind back to the conscious realm.
