Chapter 3
Magnus P.O.V
"The wizarding world is the world that Draco and Harry come from. Yes I know about it."
"How?" Draco demands again.
"Years ago I was in London and I came across the most unusual pub, called The Leaky Cauldron." I explain.
"How do you know about that?" Harry asks.
"I am a magical being so the pub appeared to me, thinking that I was a wizard. I went in and met Albus Dumbledore, he noticed that I was not a wizard, but he knew that I am powerful, so he taught me about the wizarding world, so I can help you if you are in extreme danger." I continue, "And I fear that we are now in extreme danger. The demon that you fought is like nothing I've ever met, studied or heard of. From your description it sounds like it is a demon with a magical aura, but there is something else, something ancient, like Greek, Roman or Norse."
"Do you know where it originated, Magnus?" Clary asks.
"I think it was from an area around Goode High School, I'll check later." I reply.
"We are not going anywhere with you until you tell us more about yourselves." Draco says.
"We are shadowhunters," Clary says, stepping forward. "We are half-angels, half-human, we are everywhere in the world and we fight demons to protect the mundane world."
"What are mundanes?" Harry asks.
"We call humans mundanes." Izzy replies from where she is sprawled on one of my couches.
"There are other species, like werewolves, vampires, fae, and warlocks. I am a warlock, half human, half demon." I say.
"And my boyfriend, Simon, is a vampire." Izzy says, stretching like a cat.
"Okay." Harry says, a slightly confused look on his face.
"You can sleep here tonight." I tell Harry and Draco, "I would like to monitor Harry's healing for a bit longer, and you will be protected here."
Draco, who looked like he had been about to refuse, looks at Harry and then agrees to stay.
"Great, now the rest of you, get out of here, the patient needs rest." I turn to the others and clap my hands to help them on their way, "You can come back in the morning at a reasonable time."
Timeskip to the next morning
"What time do you call this!" I grouch as I walk towards the door, opening it before Jace breaks it.
"A reasonable time." Jace calls as he walks through to the lounge room to see how Harry is recovering.
"It's FIVE AM! HOW is that a reasonable time?" I cry, following him.
"How is it not?" Jace replies. I sigh in frustration as I get a coffee.
"How is Harry?" Alec buts in, preventing the possible fight.
"Awake now." A grumpy Harry says from where he is curled up on the couch with Draco, "Thanks to you people yelling."
"Great, so now we can work out what that demon was, where it came from and how to stop it." Jace continued, completely ignoring Harry's complaint.
"Well, you have school to attend tomorrow, I am certain that the demon came from Goode High School, so I have enrolled all of you. And I have asked your parents and they agree that you should go"
"Great." Jace said grumpily.
"Do I have to go?" Alec asks.
"Yes, you do, you are young enough to be in year 12, and it would be good to have you there for your friends." I reply.
"Why do we have to go?" Draco asks, sitting up.
"Because you should, you can help these people," I say, gesturing towards Alec and his friends, "And these demon things can see and attack you, you are now part of this war, whether you like it or not."
"But I know nothing about the human world."
"Neither do we, apart from Clary and Rat boy over there." Replies Jace, gesturing to Simon.
"My name is SIMON, nice to meet you Draco and Harry." Simon says.
"Okay, Magnus I guess, we'll go to school." Clary replies, stopping her boyfriend and best friend from fighting.
"Great, here are your books and supplies, now go do whatever it is you usually do." I say, waving my hand at the door before going back to bed, not bothering to see if they leave or not.
