This one is also Ace and Graham; it starts as they leave Tegan and Kate and follows them to their first date.

….

'The way you move is like a full on rainstorm

And I'm a house of cards

You're the kind of reckless that should send me runnin'

But I kinda know that I won't get far

And you stood there in front of me, just close enough to touch

Close enough to hope you couldn't see what I was thinkin' of''

After Ace and Graham leave Kate and Tegan and the café, "so you know the Doc?" He asks the woman who almost swung a bat at him a few hours ago.

"Ever since I was a teenager, when did you meet her?"

"A few years ago. She fell onto the train I was on with my wife."

"You're married," Ace tries not to sound disappointed, like always she starts to fall quickly for the man next to her.

"Widowed, she fell to her death the day Ryan, our grandson, Yaz, and the two of us met her."

"I am so sorry to hear that."

"I have been trying to move on. Hard to find someone these days ya know."

"You have no idea. Add in the fact that I am Dorothy McShane; I sometimes don't know if someone likes me for me."

"Wait, you're Dorothy McShane, Grace loved you."

Ace laughs, "it is refreshing that someone doesn't know me."

"All I need to know is that you are a friend of the Doc's."

"If I am honest with you, my Doctor most of the time was like a father to me."

"Was he good to you?"

"At times yes, at times no. It took me time after leaving to get over everything."

'Drop everything now, meet me in the pouring rain

Kiss me on the sidewalk, take away the pain

'Cause I see sparks fly whenever you smile

Get me with those green eyes, baby, as the lights go down

Give me something that'll haunt me when you're not around

'Cause I see sparks fly whenever you smile'

"I left to be with Ryan, I don't see him often now though." Clouds open up and the two of them feel the first rain drops.

"Graham?"

"Yes," he turns to look at her; both become memorized by the other.

"Do you want to catch a movie sometime, just the two of us?" He stumbles over the last little bit.

"I would love to," he brushes something out of her hair.

"There was some ash." He adds as he gives her a curious look.

"Oh," she runs her hands through her hair, not finding any. She tries to hold back a smile thinking that he just wanted to feel her hair. She leans up as his phone rings.

"That might be Ryan." She steps back and both are shocked at how lonely it makes them feel.

"Why don't you check to see who it is." Graham takes his phone out of his pocket.

"It is," Ace starts to walk away. "Wait, you didn't give me your number; so we can set up a date, I mean a time for the movie." Graham wants to get to know the woman he just met and felt the sparks flying between them.

"I'll give your name to my assistant; why don't you come by A Charitable Earth Headquarters on Monday."

'My mind forgets to remind me you're a bad idea

You touch me once and it's really somethin'

You find I'm even better than you imagined I would be

I'm on my guard for the rest of the world

But with you, I know it's no good

And I could wait patiently, but I really wish you would'

He watches as she walks away; his phone rings again, so he picks it up. "Finally, what kept you so busy?"

"I just saw the Doc and Yaz again."

"You did how?"

"I get this message on the psychic paper to go to a Bolivian volcano, where I am greeted by a bat and a woman named Ace."

"Ace?"

"Yes, though we heard her be referred to as Dorothy McShane, that isn't too important though."

"You meet the woman Nan wanted to meet and say it isn't too important?"

"The fact she is Dorothy McShane. Of course Ace is important."

"How important?"

"I am going to get to know her."

"You want to date her?"

"If she wants to date me." Graham wont tell Ryan about how soft Ace's hair was when he pretended there was ash in it.

"So you met someone and saw Yaz and the Doc again."

"I did, the Doc asked about you."

"She did?"

"I told her the truth of your location."

"Ok, how is Yaz?"

"Not great I fear. The Doc might be regenerating again, Yaz isn't handling it well. Tegan, another friend of the Doc's, has witnessed one before. We only saw the ending."

"Back on Ace, did you feel a connection with her?"

"I did, and it was quick. From the moment she said her name."

"Well I say go for it."

"Are you ok that I am moving on from your Nan?"

"I set you up on dating sites didn't I?"

"You did, I got to find a way home now. I am in Croydon."

"Why?"

"Yaz dropped us off here. Ace, Tegan, Kate who is the daughter of one of Doc's longest friends."

"Ok, I will let you go now."

"Talk to you later son, I love you."

"Bye, take your shot with Ace." Both of them hang up as Graham finds a bus and gets home.

That following Monday Graham enters a building in the center of London. "Hello?" He asks the man sitting at the front desk.

"Do you have an appointment with Ms. McShane or Mrs. Traken-Jovanka?" He doesn't look up.

"McShane, she told me she would give you my name, Graham O'Brien." The man at the desk makes a call.

Ace is in her office talking to her good friend and wife of her other good friend. "Yes, Nyssa, it is the guy Tegan and I met last weekend."

"The guy you left with."

"We just went for a short walk until his grandson called him. Graham should be here any minute; if you would slow down on the third degree."

"Fine, fine, I will let you be with your new guy."

"How, nevermind I do not want to know." Nyssa walks out of the office and almost runs into Graham.

"You must be Graham, I am Nyssa. One of Ace's best friends, and Tegan's wife."

"Hello Nyssa, I am Graham. Is Ace in her office?"

"She is," Nyssa smiles at him as he enters Ace's office. She looks into the office and loves how much her friend's face lights up as she sees the man. Nyssa leaves them be as they meet in the center of the room.

'I'll run my fingers through your hair and watch the lights go wild

Just keep on keepin' your eyes on me

It's just wrong enough to make it feel right

And lead me up the staircase, won't you whisper soft and slow?

I'm captivated by you, baby, like a fireworks show'

"So you found it?" She smiles at him.

"I did, I would've brought some food as everyone needs to eat. I just don't know what you like."

"Y, I mean I would've been fine with a salad. I can order something for us while we iron out the details for our date, I mean when we go see the movies."

"Do you want this to be a date, Ace?"

"I wouldn't mind if it was. You are cool, and if I am honest have been on my mind since we met." Ace looks away, but Graham puts his hand under her chin and brings her eyes to his.

"So it's a date, now we just need a day and a time."

"Can we do dinner and a movie?" She asks.

"More time with you will be a win in my book is more than ok." They smile at each other.

"I'm free Friday night."

"Me too, Friday night sounds great. Should we start in the evening? Say 5?"

"Sounds perfect. Are you hungry now?"

"I can always eat."

"Let me order us something."

"Fine with me, I like food."

"Me too."

"I'm going to ask Nyssa if she wants to eat something."

"Ok."

"Take a chance to look around my office," she kisses his cheek and walks out.

'Drop everything now, meet me in the pouring rain

Kiss me on the sidewalk (Ah-ah), take away the pain

'Cause I see sparks fly whenever you smile

Get me with those green eyes, baby, as the lights go down

Give me something that'll haunt me when you're not around

'Cause I see sparks fly whenever you smile'

Ace hears the knock that Friday evening, smoothing down her skirt and she opens the door, "Graham."

"How are you doing?" Ace is curious as to why he is hiding a hand behind his back.

"If I'm being honest, a bit nervous."

"Why?"

"I am going on a date with a gorgeous woman with a heart of gold."

"You don't have to be nervous about going on a date with me."

"I know that," he uses his free hand to rub his neck.

"Ok, I am curious about what is behind your back?"

He brings his hand out from behind his back. "Flowers for a lovely lady."

"Thank you, let me go put these in some water." Ace slowly walks away from Graham to put them in some water.

When she comes back and sets the vase on her coffee table, "are you ready?"

"More than ever," she takes his offered arm and the two leave for their date. "Where are you taking me?"

"You know how we talked about your favorite places to eat?"

"I do."

"I am taking you to one of them, then we will be seeing a movie."

"What movie?"

"It's a surprise."

"You don't want to tell me?"

"I have done my research by asking Tegan and Nyssa your favorite genre of movies."

'And the sparks fly

Oh, baby, smile

And the sparks fly'

Graham walks Ace up to her door, "I had a wonderful time tonight Ace. Is it too soon to ask for another date?"

"I don't think so, what about this," she puts her hand along his cheek and closes the remaining distance and kisses him. "Was that too soon."

He opens his eyes, "no, can I kiss you?"

"Yes, you may." The two of them fall into a kiss as it starts to pour. When the kiss ends, "do you want to come in?"

"I would love to." Ace shakiley opens her door not used to inviting a date into her house on the first date anymore, especially after only knowing each other for a few short weeks. After they enter her house both stare at each other not knowing what to do.

"Want something to drink?"

"Some water?"

"On it," Ace gets his water on the two sit on the couch. After Graham finishes it Ace leans over to him and starts kissing him. They both end up moaning into the kiss and end up horizontal. Clothes started to come off as they got lost into each other. When they realize what is going on, Ace stops him.

"Huh?"

"My bedroom, I have a king size bed."

"Oh," he follows her and they fall into each other again.
