Chapter 1 - CAPTURED
"Bumblebee, where are you?!" Jazz called throughout the Ark but he hasn't had any luck finding the yellow youngling anywhere.
"Have any of you found him yet?" Optimus Prime, supreme commander/leader of the Autobots asked his crew when they returned to the command center.
"No, not yet sir," Prowl replied, though he may never show it, but he too was very worried about the missing youngling.
Optimus released a weary sigh, he like the other Autobots was very worried when they received an alarming message from Bumblebee earlier that day. He sat down in a chair in front of Teletran-One and relistened to the message that Bumblebee left behind before he mysteriously disappeared.
*"Optimus, Prowl, Jazz, anyone help me please...they're after me! I'm not sure how long I can keep hiding, please come find me before it's too la...no stay away Megatron!"* Bumblebee's terrified voice was shouted through the comm. unit of the recorded message.
The twins, Sunstreaker and his brother Sideswipe were shocked as were the rest of the Autobots who didn't get to hear it before.
"So, it was the Decepticons that took him," Ironhide growled while gritting his denta together as his servos clenched into fists.
"What do we do, Optimus? We don't know where they've taken him, or what they have planned for him," Prowl stated to his leader.
Optimus stood once again and turned to his crew, he breathed in a heavy vent before speaking, "I know all of you are worried about what the Decepticons are doing with our young scout, I am as well but all search teams have come up with no trace of him. I'm afraid we'll have to await for someone to find anything of where he is or regrettably have to wait until Megatron gives us his demands for his freedom." He finished sadly.
Everyone regrettably nodded their heads in agreement but they jumped in shock when they heard the final search team come back to the Ark at full speed.
This team contains Mirage (who can become invisible and works as an Autobots spy/scout), Hound (who can make holograms and have extremely high senses, he's also a scout and tracker), and Smokescreen (acts the decoy sometimes, deceiver, therapist/psychiatrist, and provides cover for the Autobots with his smokescreens). They all transformed at the same time, and basically skidded to a stop they were exhausted from racing to the Ark at full speed in order to tell the others of the information they'd gathered.
"Optimus sir, we've found out why the Decepticons wanted Bumblebee for!" Smokescreen vented heavily.
The Autobots gathered or swarmed around them without giving them time to recover and then started demanding answers, thankfully Ratchet, the red and white Chief Medical Officer (CMO) came to their aid and started shoving them.
"Back everybody back!" He barked at them while shoving them away with the threat of being hit by his wrench, so they can report and recover.
That threat alone and the sight of the wrench in his servo was able to get the Autobots to move back so they can have some space.
"Megatron was after our young scout, for he's the only one who's able to fit into the Great Sphinx's hidden chambers or more importantly within a specific chamber that's containing some important items that are of cybertronian origin," Hound explained quickly and hastily.
Everyone was shocked would be considered an understatement, however, the news disturbed Ratchet, Wheeljack, Perceptor, and Skyfire greatly. Apparently, many of their comrades saw how the news affected them, their CO was one of them.
"What do you four know?" Optimus asked them.
Wheeljack sighed heavily before responding to his leader's question. "About an Earth month ago, we four found a strange, old, and yet familiar signal amongst the ancient Egyptian monument of the Great Sphinx. Ratchet, Perceptor, Skyfire, and I went to investigate the signal. when we arrived, we visited the Great Sphinx and found the exact signal we discovered. We gathered enough information and decided to leave," He paused.
Rachet laid a servo on his shoulder and continued for him. "Before we left Egypt, we were encased in a bright light. Within the light of the legendary Egyptian God Horus, we thought the legendary Egyptian Gods were just legends we were wrong, they are real just like our deity Primus, and they aren't worshipped as much as they were in the past. The great god Horus warned us that even though the items are of ancient Cybertronian origin, Horus explained that they must stay entombed there being protected by powerful magic so they'll remain in their resting place. Or there will be dire consequences for the one that removes them. If Bumblebee even touches them he may never be the same again or able to return back to our time." Ratchet finished sadly.
"You mean that if little 'Bee touches or even be near it, he'll be lost to us until the Egyptian Gods say so?" Blaster persisted.
"Sadly, yes the Egyptian Gods have power that's partially similar to our creator Primus. Only they can return Bumblebee if they wish it so," Skyfire responded.
