Chapter 693 Leonidas' Research
I don't own Bleach or any of the powers and gear used in this story.
Leonidas was at a lab he made in Ever After only this one was far away so it wouldn't be discovered.
He was sitting on a desk thinking what to do, he then sees a picture frame of him when he was a kid with Herbert West at his side smiling.
"You were the one that helped me go beyond what I could possibly do, thanks to my adventures around many worlds I was able to expand, but it was your science that I was able to go as far as I could do."Leonidas said.
He then picks up a vial of the serum."Umbrella think they are special with they're creations or Ultemica using her little magic to make zombies... But you are the one that truly found life after death, your creations could think unlike those mindless creatures."He chuckles.
He his lab shakes and he heard many grunts.
"Hey!"Leonidas goes to a screen on the wall."Keep it down!"
He saw one of his new creations the cyclops, it a big man that is bald with half of it's face covered up and his mouth chewered up. (The Cyclops 1957)
"Why did I give life to this guy."Leonidas frowns and goes to take a seat again."I tried to be nice to a death row guy that was about to die and he gave me permission to test on his body to see what I could do because he was innocent but it had to be this."
He then saw Nemu appear surprising him."Nemu?"
"I came to see him."She hugs him.
He smiles at her but then he felt a familiar presence and he hides the serum, a portal opened and from it came Mayuri.
"So this is where your working?"He said.
"For now since this is a different world, what are you doing here?"Leonidas said.
"I came to see what you are doing, your experiments are very interesting."Mayuri said.
"What, since you saw me make the Brain."Leonidas said.
"Of course."Mayuri then noticed Herbert West's picture."And who is that?"
"Simply one of the most brilliant men that taught me his work."Leonidas said.
"How curious."Mayuri then saw the Cyclops."How interesting, how did you make it?"
"Through the use of a inmate and the reaction made him grow."Leonidas said.
Mayuri girns."Very interesting, also did you make more?"
Loenidas stares at him and walks to the screen to change the image, he lets Mayuri to see some of his creations since it let's him be with Nemu.
He shows them a creature with a humanoid like body and a big mouth roaring."I call it the Boogeyman."(Monster in the closet.)
"Curious, what does it do?"Mayuri said.
"It not only has a second mouth inside of his to bite the targets, it can also teleport inside of closets like the creature that parents tell to they're children."Leonidas said.
"I can see your getting very creative with your creations."Mayuri said.
"Why stop with one type of creature, mass production is nothing compared to a more powerful single beast."Leonidas said.
"Hmmm yes, that is true."Mayuri said.
"If I want more creatures then I would use these."He shows his new creation, it's a red creature with a giant mouth with sharp teeth, it has many worm like spawns moving aorund."It's simply titled the Deadly Spawn."(Deadly Spawn movie)
"Also that reminds me."He opens a door revealing a monster with a big eye, small mouths and it was chucklin. (Monster from TerrorVision.)
Nemu looks at it and it was smiling."It looks cute."
"Doesn't seem very stable."Mayuri said.
"I know, one of my firsts, I just keep him a pet."Leonidas said and he feeds him a piece of meat making it happy.
"Interesting attempt, if only I could do that back at the Soul Society."Mayuri grunts a bit since there was some rules to his creations there.
"Well not everyone can have the pleasure of freedom."Leonidas closes the door.
He goes to his screen to check on his new creation, they saw a humanoid man with white skin and a. creepy smile. "Babadook."
"Why is it called that?"Nemu asked.
"Because I named it after a creature of legend in a world I went, the stories about it made me want to recreate it."Leonidas said.
"A very impressive creature."Mayuri said.
"Of course, it doesn't need to have big muscular body to fight, as it's durability and speed make it better."Leonidas said.
Nemu looks around and sees a door, she then opens it to reveal a forest with a stump that has a face on it.
"Shut that damn door."It said with a women's voice.
Nemu blinks and closes it.
"Was that a forest?"Mayuri said.
"Oh yeah, it's where I go to look for magical sources, who would have thought this entire world can connect to certain magical places and that forest I was able to get inside of that one room."Leonidas said.
They heard music and singing and Leonidas sighs."They back at they're singing."
He turns on his computer to check the cameras he put in that place, they saw a group of trolls to sing they're song.(The trolls from the movie Troll 1986 and it's the same song they sing)
"Amazing creatures."Mayuri said.
"Yeah, but they also get annoying."Leonidas takes out a horn and plays it making the trolls grunt."Go back to your spot."
They went away from the door.
"Well this has been very good seeing all these creatures, it's time to return or captain Yamamoto will have my head, still you are a genius."Mayuri goes inside a portal back to the soul Society.
Nemu sits on Leonidas' lap and hugs him making him smile at her.
"You are a genius Leonidas."Nemu said.
"Thanks, but I use for good unlike the ones that abuse the power of science."Leonidas thinks of Szayel, Wesker and Guildenstern who are people he hates.
He spends his time with Nemu since it's good that she comes to visit him.
Note:Here's a chapter about more of Leonidas' creations as Mayuri came to see them, since that guy will always try to see what more Leonidas can do, also theres many movie references here as you can see since I am a Horror Movie fan, and the Troll movie is what might have inspired Harry Potter since the father and the son that's the main character of the movie are called Harry Potter with the movie having a fantasy style to it.
Update this chapter was changed as I wanted Pumpkinhead to be used for a later chapter so the Babadook took it's place as one of Leonidas creations.
