Acts of Villainy
Kim Possible vs. the Pack: On the Hunt
"So you've been cozying up with that Director chick and the Global Justice... thingy lately? Like, even more than usual?"
"Well, I wouldn't exactly put it that way Ron," Kim responded. "But yeah, more or less, we've been in contact more than before."
"Hmm... may I ask why?" Ron questioned wearily. "Like, as a concerned boyfriend?" He went to take a sip of his coffee, but his eyes went wide in alarm immediately afterward. "OW! It's still too hot!"
"Ohhh," Rufus whined worriedly.
Despite being worried, Kim could not help but smile as she did her best to stifle any laughter. After so long, she still found her boyfriend's eccentricities endearing. Kim Possible and Ron Stoppable had met in a small coffee shop near the park for a date. It was here where Kim had chosen to reveal to Ron that she and Dr. Director were speaking to each other more than they had before. However, that was interrupted by Ron's little moment of regret. He was still panting heavily as he stuck his tongue out like a dog while Rufus massaged it with ice cubes. Once he was finally okay, Ron snapped his tongue back into his mouth and gave Rufus a thumbs-up.
"Thanks for the assist, little buddy," Ron said before turning to his girlfriend. "Sooo... what gives, KP? Why are you on the constant when it comes to talking to Dr. Director all of a sudden?"
"She won't say much, annoying as it is," Kim admitted. "Mostly, she's been saying she wants to talk to me about getting involved with a big project that could do the world a lot of good. She also wants you to be a part of it, Ron."
At this, Stoppable's eyes widened again. "Say what? What, me? Like, actually me? They want moi to be involved?"
"Yes, Ron," Kim said. "That's what Dr. Director implied to me anyways."
"Hmmm," Ron said as he rubbed his chin. "Nope, nope, nope. I don't like it, Kim. Not one little bit."
"You don't even know what the GJN is offering yet, babe," Kim retorted.
"I don't need to know to know that it's probably not good," Ron replied. "That Global Justice bunch of guys are really super shady."
"Oh, Ron, you think every organization is shady," Kim said.
"That's because every organization IS shady!" Ron insisted. "Did you forget that I was the manager of Bueno Nacho?!"
"Yeah, for as long as it takes to make a cup of coffee," Kim quipped.
"That's only because I resigned to come save you!" Ron insisted. "Besides, that was long enough for me to have seen some stuff! To learn things I wasn't supposed to learn."
He looked around before getting a suspicious glower on his face and waving KP in. "Half the nacho cheese sauce there was sharp cheddar," Ron whispered into his lover's ear.
This made her giggle before asking, "What was the other half?"
"Nobody knows," Ron said in a mysterious tone. "I quit before I could find out. Still, fucking shady."
Kim chuckled in amusement at her boyfriend's charming antics. "Come on, Alex Jones, let's pay and get out of here."
"Hey, don't insult me!" Ron said playfully.
He put down a dollar and twenty-five cents, realizing he was a dollar short before giving his girlfriend a sheepish smile. She rolled her eyes in amusement before putting down the full amount for her order and an extra dollar for Ron's. Rufus jumped back into the pocket of Ron's pants as he stood up. Then, hand in hand, Kim and Ron walked out of the coffee shop, looking around at what Middleton, Colorado had to offer. The sun had started to set, casting a bright orange hue across the town. Something about it felt romantic to Ron and Kim as they flashed each other loving smiles.
"Wanna walk in the park?" Kim suggested.
"I thought you'd never ask," Ron replied.
The happy couple walked across the street and headed into the park's confines, enjoying the grassy hills, fields, trees, bushes, and so on scattered about. It seemed just about perfect to them as they continued walking along the stone path through the park. What truly made it so perfect was that they were together. Hard to believe that for the longest time, neither Kim nor Ron even gave a passing thought that this was how they would end up.
The idea first entered their heads, especially Ron's, after Kim went through a mishap with a microchip that attached to her and messed with her emotions. It even made her kiss Ron for the first time. While manipulation was not either's ideal way of getting their first kiss together, the second one more than made up for it. They had gladly been together ever since that night at the junior prom.
"So you really have reservations about me talking with the GJN, Ron?" Kim asked.
A conflicted look crossed his face as he tried to think of the best way to word his answer. "You know, I won't lie, Kim, I do. Mostly because I don't trust them. Usually big, government, military-type groups like them have a closet full of skeletons. And not in the cool heavy metal Alice Cooper way where he literally has a closet of skeletons on stage. Having said that, I do trust you. You've always had a good head on your shoulders except when manipulated to have a not-so-good head. Not your fault, though! So, if you really think talking to the GJN and playing projects with them can be a good thing, then I got your back one hundred percent."
"Ohh," Kim cooed before wrapping her arms around her boyfriend. He returned the embrace as Kim laid her head on Ron's chest. "Thank you, Ron, for always being there for me when it counts the most."
"No problem, Kim," Ron said. "That's what a good friend, a good sidekick, and a good boyfriend do. I am the trifecta, baby!"
As Ron boasted, he stood tall and proud, fists on his hips. This made Kim laugh not mockingly but in amusement at how unstoppably charming Ron seemed to be.
"So, when does Dr. Director want you to meet for... whatever it is she wants you to meet for?" Ron asked as they continued walking.
"Well, that's mostly what our talks have been about," Kim replied. "Just been trying to set up a date for her to tell me about the GJN's latest project in person."
"And she won't tell you anything else about it?" Ron questioned further.
"Nope, just like I said before," Kim answered.
"Look, I'm sorry, KP, but how is that not shady?" Ron responded. "It literally has 'shady' written all over it!"
"Do you even know what literally means, Ron?"
"YES! ... No."
Kim found herself laughing again before leaning in to kiss her lover.
"Aww, isn't that sweet?" a woman's voice said mockingly.
It was followed by laughter, causing Kim to break her embrace with Ron and look around.
"It's not just me who thinks that had evil villain laugh written all over it, right?" Ron asked nervously.
"Don't you mean 'literally written all over it'?" an equally snide and crude male voice said.
"Show yourselves!" Kim demanded.
"Okay, but you asked for it!" a deep, growling voice responded.
A large monster burst out of the bushes behind the heroic couple. Kim quickly scooped Ron up in her arms and leaped away while her boy screamed in terror. When she landed, Kim put Ron down before the two looked back to see just what this monstrous form was. They gasped to see what looked like a gray-furred werewolf standing nearly seven feet tall and wearing armor. This beast turned in their direction, snarling at Kim and Ron.
"That would be so cool if it wasn't going to hurt us," Ron said fearfully.
"Don't worry about him," the woman's voice from before said.
"Worry about us!" the man's voice added.
'Those came from above us!' Kim realized.
She scooped up a screaming Ron once more and again jumped away. This was just before several claws and buzzsaws could rip into the heroic couple. When Kim landed again, she turned around and saw the sources of the blades. Kim's eyes widened, for she instantly knew who the two psychotic-looking cyborgs were.
"Oh, my god! They're-"
"The Pack!" Ron exclaimed as he lowered himself out of Kim's arms. "I used to watch these guys on TV all the time!"
"Oh-ho, wow!" Rufus exclaimed when peeking out of Ron's pocket for a look. He turned to Wolf just as the genetically altered warrior snarled again, making Rufus scream in terror before ducking back into Ron's pocket. "Oh, no, no, no, no," the naked mole-rat whined fearfully.
"Oh, how about that? A fan!" Jackal mocked.
"Almost makes me feel bad we have to do what we have to do," Hyena responded. "Not!"
Getting down on all fours, the brother and sister duo sprinted at Kim and Ron like ravenous animals on the hunt. Ron froze in place while Kim went at Jackal and Hyena head-on. Once close enough, Kim jumped into the air, flipping several times.
"Oh, no, you don't!" Hyena exclaimed as she reached up her arm.
Her mechanical enhancement extended far beyond that of a regular human limb, allowing Hyena to grab Kim's leg. With a mighty grunt, Hyena pulled the teenage hero down to the ground. Reacting quickly, Kim stuck out her hands, pushing them off against the ground and turning the fall into a massive backflip. Once on her feet again, Kim took a battle pose as Jackal ran up and started slashing at her with his claws.
"You might as well give up while you can, Kimmie, dear," the psychopath insisted. "You're only delaying the inevitable! Yield now, and I might go easy on ya!"
Despite Jackal's proclamation and his mechanical modifications, Kim easily avoided every one of the claw swipes he threw at her. In an impressive display of agility and acrobatic prowess, the captain of her school's cheerleading team proved why she deserved her spot. Kim even got in a few shots on the aggressive evildoer. After successfully dodging another swipe of Jackal's claws, she struck him in the face with a left cross. Growling angrily, Jackal slashed at Kim again, only for her to dodge it and hit him with a right cross this time. Jackal swung his claws several more times, but Kim avoided it all before hitting him with three jabs in a left-right combo to the features.
"You're gonna pay for that!" Jackal exclaimed furiously.
But still, he missed everything he attempted to throw at Kim Possible, who ducked, dodged, and pulled away from it all. It culminated in her jumping up and kicking her feet into Jackal's face, knocking him back with a hard thud.
"No one decides when I'm ready to throw it in except me," Kim boasted proudly.
"Well, nobody does that to my brother except me!" Hyena shouted as she ran at the teenage heroine.
The claws on her fingers had extended somehow, looking even sharper. Kim gasped before doing everything she could to avoid Hyena's dangerous blades.
"Your skinny little ass is grass, kid!" Hyena insisted as she stayed on the attack.
"We'll see about that," Kim said before ducking down and sliding through Hyena's legs.
She grabbed them at the same time and pulled the sadistic villain forth, making Hyena land on her face with a yelp. Kim stood up and looked down at the dangerous huntress with confidence.
"For as big and as bad as you all think you are, so far, it looks like you don't have the chops to take me on," Kim said as she crossed her arms. "So I'm sure not rolling over and giving up to the likes of you."
"You may want to rethink your position on that, my dear."
"Huh?" Kim wondered out loud. "I know that voice. ... Xanatos?"
Mechanical whirring and heavy footsteps made Kim turn around. She gasped at the sight before her.
"Not quite. A pleasure to meet you, Ms. Possible. My name is Coyote."
From his large gold and black mechanical body, specifically on the chest, was a clear glass bubble. It allowed Kim to see what looked like the billionaire's severed head. Only half of his face was torn away, revealing mechanical workings under his features. That was in addition to the large metal, canine-shaped head that actually looked like it was meant to be part of the robot.
"What in the science fiction hell?!" Kim exclaimed.
"Ah, science fiction," Coyote reflected. "Strange how so often these days it comes to look more and more like science fact, isn't it?"
Despite how unexpected the partially mechanical face of one of the world's richest men attached to a giant robot was, Kim managed to shake off her astonishment. The determined expression from before returned to her features as she raised her hands.
"Giant robot or no giant robot, I'm still ready to go," Kim said. "Besides, I've beaten much bigger than you."
"Perhaps, but have you ever beaten a giant robot with a team of trained mercenaries who have your boyfriend?" Coyote inquired.
At that, a man in armor flew down on jet-propelled thrusters, holding a barely awake Ron in his arms. Kim gasped in disbelief and horror at seeing her beau had been captured.
"Ron!" Kim exclaimed.
"Uhh... sorry, KP," Ron barely managed to groan. "They... got... me."
An intense scowl crossed Kim's face as she tightened her fists. "Put him down right now, or I'll- Uh!"
Something big, thick, and heavy clubbed into Kim's shoulder, knocking her off her feet. Wolf stood over her forebodingly, chuckling in sinister delight.
"I'm afraid it looks like you're in no position to make demands," Coyote said bluntly.
The other members of the Pack gathered around Coyote and Dingo. Hyena, Jackal, and Wolf could not keep the evil grins off their faces as Kim looked up at them in despair.
"No... Ron," Kim said as she tried getting back up.
"Sorry, love," Dingo said as he held Ron. "Just following orders."
"Or- orders?" Kim inquired.
"If you want him back, you'll have to meet our demands," Wolf said wickedly.
"Wh- what demands?" Kim questioned.
"Meet us at the abandoned McFist warehouse on the far side of town," Jackal said. "Be there by midnight tonight, or else we'll put Ronnie here to bed. Get the picture?"
"Come alone," Wolf warned. "No cops, backup, or anything like that."
"If anything happens to Ron-"
"So long as you do as we say, Ms. Possible, no harm should come to the boy," Coyote said sternly. "Oh, and bring the battle suit too."
"The battle suit?" Kim queried in confusion.
"You have our conditions, Ms. Possible," Coyote said. "It's up to you to meet them."
With that, Dingo flew up into the air. The other non-robot members of the Pack grabbed hold of Coyote as turbines under his feet were activated, propelling him after Dingo. Kim watched them go, seeing a large hovercraft of some sort awaiting the team of former TV stars and their robotic leader. Despair and sadness were plain to see on Kim's face as tears welled up in her eyes. She had just enough time to see the hovercraft flying away before she had to wipe away her tears. Then she punched one of her fists into the ground as she looked up in anger.
"Don't worry, Ron, I'll get you back," Kim said. "If they want the battle suit... they're gonna get it."
Ron looked around fearfully at the deadly villains that surrounded him as he stood tied to one of the warehouse's support beams. Except for the giant robot, he had once looked up to them all, remembering what they looked like before turning themselves into what they were now. He thought they were heroes, having watched them beat up loads of evil ninjas on television. Now, seeing them up close, Ron saw only bloodlust, wickedness, horror shows, and evil shells of the human beings they once were. Still, he dared not say anything, mortified at what they might do to him. Especially if he angered any of them.
However, a far more frightening thought came to Ron's mind. Specifically, he worried about what they had in store for his girlfriend, seeing as how they told her to meet them there. To meet them at the abandoned, isolated warehouse they were held up in. 'I've got to find a way to get out of here and help Kim when she arrives. They'll try to make dog meat out of her. I just know it. They'll try to do the same to me too, whether I help her or not. But, of course, I'm going to try and help her. She's my girl and I'm her man. Come on, Ron, don't let the scary people keep you from helping your ever-so-awesome girlfriend! Find that Ron Stoppable spirit deep within.'
"How much longer do we have to wait?" Wolf uttered in irritation.
He stopped in the middle of the path he had been pacing. Coyote stood off to the side with Dingo by him. Jackal and Hyena leaned against separate warehouse support beams with their arms crossed. Hyena was the closest to Ron, who was tied to the same column she leaned against.
"The little brat should have been here by now with the suit!" Wolf furthered.
"Calm down, Fuzzy-Wuzzy," Jackal chided. Wolf gazed at his mechanically enhanced cohort, growling fiercely, to which the psychopath merely smiled. "We gave her until midnight, and that's not even close."
"Yeah, it's only been two hours, so keep your fur on, Harry," Hyena roasted further.
Wolf turned to her, growling more as he clenched his fists. The only remaining woman on the team merely rolled her eyes before looking away.
"Still, I can't help but wonder how long it takes to get a battle suit," Hyena admitted. "This town ain't that big, so I know the distance isn't what's killing the time."
"Knowing what I do about Ms. Possible, "Coyote interjected, "from the dossier we were given and my own independent research, she's most likely planning something. Specifically, a way to take us down and get Mr. Stoppable back without meeting our demands."
"You mean our anonymous boss's demands," Dingo said. "I still don't like that we don't even know who we're working for."
"Oh, relax, would you, Dingo?" Jackal asked in irritation. "All we have to do is give little Kimmie a fight she can't handle while she's wearing that 'fancy suit' of hers, then we're in the money. No more cheap bank robberies for us."
"Uhh, you all aren't actually going to... you know, do anything really bad to Kim, are ya? Or me?" Ron asked worriedly. Then he wondered silently, 'What the hell am I doing?'
"Hmm, I don't know," Hyena mused.
The claws on her right hand then expanded into far longer, more deadly-looking blades.
"Krueger claws!" Ron exclaimed in fear.
"Don't you mean cougar?" Hyena questioned in a seductive tone.
She gently stuck her blades below Ron's lower jaw, giving him a sultry smile that left the loyal sidekick... conflicted. 'I am so scaroused. Now, I know how you felt, Fry.'
Little did anyone notice Rufus, who had still been in Ron's pocket the whole time, had slowly slipped away. He had been waiting for an opening to make his move, and everyone seemed distracted enough that he thought it was finally time to strike. Rufus scurried down to the floor and got around to the other side of the support beam before crawling up to where Ron's ropes were tied. Instantly the naked mole-rate started gnawing at them while silently hoping his best friend would persevere against the wicked woman he faced.
"Uhh, you're not gonna... do anything to me, are you?" Ron asked sheepishly. "Quite the age gap between us, after all."
"Would that really matter to you if I was offering?" Hyena asked as she lightly pressed the tips of her extended claws to Ron's chin.
"Well, no... but actually, yes," Ron said. "I have a wonderful girlfriend I'm already dedicated to. Besides, you look like you want to kill me after you have me assuming you even have me! So stop! Get it away-hay-hay!"
"Hmph," Hyena said in amusement before pulling her blades away. "Please, as if I'd waste my time on you. Even if I did, you wouldn't know what to do with any of this."
"Well, yeah, half of that's mechanical," Ron said. Hyena gave him a dark look that made the captive boy yelp. "Please don't disembowel me. I don't want to die. There's no future in it."
Hyena rolled her eyes before turning to the closest thing she had to someone she cared for. "Besides, my eyes go to much... bigger game. You got time for some sparks, Coyote?"
"I'm afraid not on the job, my dear," Coyote answered. "Perhaps later."
"Oh, you're no fun," Hyena pouted as she crossed her arms. "Ah, damn it! Now, you've got me doing it, Wolf! Where is this little mall tramp?!"
Suddenly, the sound of knuckles meeting flesh boomed through the air. At the same time, Hyena hunched over in what seemed like pain before flying up as another punching noise permeated. The wicked woman fell to the floor before she felt herself being dragged across it. But when she looked, no one was there, only her leg in the air, looking as if it was being pulled by nothing.
"What the hell?!" Heyna shouted.
"Hey, sis, you putting on a magic show or something?" Jackal asked in confusion.
The robotic eyes on Coyote's larger head shaped after his namesake flashed red as he scanned the area via infrared filters. He saw the silhouette of a teenage girl pulling Hyena.
"It's the girl!" Coyote alerted. "She's using stealth technology, no doubt from the battle suit we had her bring."
"Then it's finally go time," Wolf said as he punched a fist into his open palm."One order of shredded teen coming up."
Howling like his namesake, the mutated man rushed toward where it appeared Kim Possible was. However, before Wolf reached Hyena's side, her leg fell.
"No!" Wolf exclaimed as he came up next to Hyena.
He snarled while swinging his claws about wildly, trying to catch Kim. When he realized that was not working, Wolf stopped and started sniffing the air. Just as he caught her scent, an invisible foot kicked across the monstrous features of the hulking wolfman. With a growling bark, Wolf slashed his claws seemingly at the air, but that was all they hit. Conversely, hard punches pounded into Wolf's lower jaw, including a third and final hit to the chin.
"Hold still, you little pest!" Wolf shouted. "Come out and fight like a man!"
Suddenly the furious monster got the wind knocked out of his sails by a well-placed kick to where the sun don't shine. With a shrieking howl of agony, Wolf grabbed his groin before falling to his knees. He was taken the rest of the way down by a running knee to the face by Kim Possible just as she deactivated her cloaking. The young heroine was fully revealed in her white battle suit, the blue lines on it glowing brightly as ever as she stood tall and proud.
"KP!" Ron shouted in jubilation.
"Why would I fight like a man?" Kim asked. "I would rather fight like a hero."
"Spare us the cheese!" Jackal exclaimed as he rushed in.
Kim pulled back as he started swinging his claws at her. The highly-trained fighter put her athleticism, agility, and skills to work as she ducked and dodged several more swipes from Jackal. As the assault went on, Kim saw the sick, twisted joy he was getting from having her on the run. It glistened in his one remaining human eye as Jackal slashed at Kim. Eventually, it got to where she had to start jumping, flipping, and corkscrewing away from the maniac pursuing her.
"I hope you got a kick out of putting that suit on, girly," Jackal said while continuing his assault. "'Cause this will be the last time you ever see it!"
Kim responded with a hard front kick to Jackal's chest, knocking him onto his back.
"I hope you got a kick out of that, creep!" Kim said furiously.
"Oh, a smartass, eh?" Jackal said as he stood up. Then he looked off to the side. "Hyena, kill the boy!"
"No!" Kim shouted in despair as she looked toward Ron.
"Made you look!" Jackal said as the pointed fingers of his mechanical hands stiffened and were launched forth like darts.
Kim tried jumping away, but one of the blades caught her arm, tearing through the suit's material and drawing blood. She let out a yelp of pain before landing close by where Ron was. At this, Jackal smiled in sinister delight as new fingers slid into place of the old ones. However, his wicked grin faded when he saw the suit auto-repairing itself.
"What the hell?" Jackal asked.
"Pretty cool, huh?" Kim boasted with a smirk. "Now, watch this."
Suddenly Kim leaped high into the air, more so than even a girl of her stature should be able to. Jackal stared in disbelief, only realizing the danger after it was too late as Kim threw a hard Superman punch across his face. The mechanically enhanced supervillain fell to the ground, nearly knocked out cold. However, he forced himself to stay conscious as he shook off that last blow and growled at Kim in hatred.
"You're gonna pay for that!" Jackal exclaimed.
"Bill me!" Kim retorted.
As Jackal got up, Kim rushed at him before throwing several punches and kicks at the villain. He barely dodged them all before going for an uppercut-like swipe of his claws. Kim moved back and kicked at Jackal's mechanical arm so hard that it actually flew off. Unfortunately, any sense of victory Kim may have thought she had faded when the villain's forearm flew back and miraculously reattached itself to the rest of his metal limb. Kim looked shocked as Jackal beamed evilly.
"Surprised?" Jackal asked. "More where that came from!"
He swung his claws at Kim, who ducked them before sweeping Jackal's legs out from under him, taking the villain down. She then leaped onto him and threw several quick ground and pound fists into his face, knocking Jackal out for real this time.
"Hey!" Hyena shouted as she came in like a bat out of Hell. "You can't do that to my brother!"
Hyena's fingers on her hands pulled back as small cannons stretched out from her palms. She fired several shots at Kim, who barely avoided the bombardment. Despite unleashing a wicked cackle, Hyena was soon silenced when she realized that even through her laser assault, Kim managed to get close enough to attack. It was too late, for Kim hit her with a hard right hook to the face.
As much as the blow hurt, Hyena did not fall. Instead, her fury increased tenfold as she scowled at Kim. The cannons folded back into her palms, and her fingers snapped back into place while increasing in size and length. Hyena slashed at Kim, who had to move extra fast as her foe came at her with a fury like no other. Kim looked for an opening while avoiding her foe's blades. However, it was hard to find one because no matter where she went, Hyena was right there in her face. The villainess's mechanically enhanced arms and legs helped her keep up with the teenage heroine, even with her battle suit donned.
It culminated in Hyena slashing across Kim's mid-drift, leaving four bloody marks behind. Hyena started to cackle but stopped when she saw the cuts in her opponent's suit seal up. An annoyed sneer crossed the villainess's face until she saw Kim still holding the spot where she was struck.
"Oh, I get it," Hyena said as her smile returned. "The suit may heal, but you don't. That means I can cut you up into eight slices of bitch-a-roni. Say your prayers, you little brat!"
Before Hyena could strike, a loud metallic clang was heard, followed by the villainess's cry of pain before she hit the ground. Standing behind her was Ron, who was holding a small metal pipe.
"Ron!"
"Kim!"
"Hey!" Rufus said as he sat on his owner's shoulder.
"Rufus!" Kim and Ron both exclaimed happily.
Hyena groaned before she lost consciousness.
"Wow... I did it," Ron said. "Yeah! That was me! I did that!"
"My hero," Kim said lovingly.
"Boo-yah! Who's a scared little boy you wanna seduce now, lady?!" Ron asked.
"What?" Kim questioned.
"What?" Ron replied, an awkward look crossing his face.
The two heard Wolf's groaning and turned to see him slowly sitting up. Thinking fast, Ron tossed the pipe he had. Both heroes watched until it dinged the large villain in the head, knocking him back down.
"Oh, yeah! I'm bad!" Ron said as he posed. "Not so scary when you're taking a cat nap, are you, Wolfy!"
Several laser blasts started zipping through the air at the teen couple. Ron screamed in terror as he jumped into Kim's arms, followed by her leaping high into the rafters.
"You really know how to sweep me off my feet, Kim," Ron said as he looked into his lover's eyes.
She beamed him a smile and planted a quick kiss on his cheek. Then they both looked down to see Coyote and Dingo coming closer, their weapons aimed at the couple.
"I'll take the big guy," Kim said confidently.
"Roger that," Ron replied. "Which big guy?"
"The biggest guy, Ron," Kim said with a roll of her eyes.
"Ohh, gotcha, KP," Ron said. A concerned look crossed his face. "Although Dingo's still pretty big."
"Ron!"
"Got it, got it! Sorry, sorry! I got your back, Kim. You can count on me one hundred percent."
"I always do," Kim said with a longing smile.
Laser fire interrupted the tender moment, snapping both heroes back to reality. Kim jumped down from the rafters without hesitation, landing in a kneeling position with her fist hitting the floor as she looked ahead with a determined glare.
"Superhero landings aren't good for the knees, Kim!" Ron shouted worriedly.
"Focus, Ronald!" Kim said in an authoritative tone.
"Right!" Ron said before looking down at his foe. "Get ready, Dingo, 'cause you're going down!"
The young sidekick let out a battle cry as he jumped down at the fully armored villain. However, he instantly regretted it when Dingo caught him and started spinning Ron around above his head.
"HEY-EY-EY-AAAHHHHH!" Ron screamed before Dingo tossed him away.
Stoppable smashed through a wooden crate that lay in a stack with several others.
At the same time, Kim backed away as Coyote approached before firing the laser cannons from his palms at the teenage heroine. Kim dashed through the maelstrom, barely evading whatever energy bolts came her way. Then she leaped ahead, landing a flying side kick into the robot's canine-shaped head. The sheer force of the attack left a large dent as Kim sailed backward before flipping safely onto her feet.
"Give it up, tin head!" Kim said. "You won't get me!"
"You may not think so, Ms. Possible," Coyote replied. "But I'm afraid our employer is insisting on us doing so. One way or another, we'll have to take you down should we wish to be successful in our benefactor's eyes."
The cannons in his robotic palms retracted before the giant automaton charged at Kim.
"Whoa, Nelly!" Kim shouted as she jumped to the side.
Coyote crashed through a support beam as his hands smashed into a pile of crates and even messed up the ground under them. The robot quickly turned and reached to grab Kim, who leaped forth, landing on her foe's outstretched arm. She ran up Coyote's limb before punching his big cranium. Coyote reached his free hand up and finally managed to grab Kim before tossing her away. The heroine crashed against one of the warehouse's support beams, hitting it with a violent thud.
Meanwhile, Ron was finally getting up as he shook his head. He gasped in fear upon seeing Dingo coming his way.
"I don't really want to hurt ya, mate," Dingo admitted. "Ya seem like just a scared little boy. Thing is, we were hired specifically to grab ya girlfriend there. And I reckon if you were a real man, you'd stay by her side through all of this."
"You'd reckon correctly, my heavily armored... friend?" Ron responded.
"Yeah, I figured as much," Dingo said. "Good on ya for sticking by ya shelia. Too bad it'll probably get ya killed."
"Oh, shit," Ron whimpered.
Dingo fired several blasts from his wrist cannons, making Ron fling up and flail away as he screamed in terror. "Where's the Power Rangers when you really need 'em?!" Ron shouted.
Dingo chased after Ron, continuing his laser assault all the while. At one point, Ron looked back at his pursuer to gauge how close they were together. When he looked ahead once more, Ron ran into a hanging rope with an adjustable loading hook at the end. Grabbing a hold, Ron felt himself rising high into the air as he shrieked in fright. Dingo halted his pursuit when he realized his target was no longer in front of him.
"Huh?" Dingo asked as he looked around for Ron. He even bent down to see if Ron was on the floor, allowing the boy in question to swing passed him. "Crikey, what in blazes-?"
A loud scream from behind made Dingo turn around, allowing him to see Ron swinging in, feet outstretched in front of him. The resulting kick sent Dingo flying before he smashed through several crates next to a support beam and then into the column itself, bending and mangling it immensely. Ron let go of the rope and landed safely on the floor, his hands over his head and his eyes shut tight.
"Tell me when it's over!" Ron screamed.
"Hey!" Rufus said as he crawled up and pulled on one of Ron's fingers.
This got the frightened boy's attention, allowing the naked mole-rat to point out Dingo. Ron gasped when he saw the state the armored villain was in.
"Did I do that?" Ron asked.
"Mm-hmm," Rufus said.
"I did that?"
"Yes."
"I did that!"
"Yay!"
"Oh, yeah! I'm bad! I-"
Ron went silent when he heard Coyote's robotic stomping permeate through the air. He turned and spotted the robot clasping his massive hands together before trying to smash them down on Kim. She barely managed to leap out of the way, avoiding being crushed into nothing. However, this brought her closer to Coyote, who raised his foot up and tried to stomp Kim Possible into nothing. She rolled out of the way just in time, although her scream made it clear she was getting desperate.
"Hang on, Kim, I'm coming!" Ron shouted. "Come on, Rufus!"
"Hmm," Rufus grunted with a salute.
Ron ran in Coyote's direction, noticing Wolf getting up along the way. Seeing this, Ron made it a point to pick up the pipe he threw before and smack it into the back of the villain's head, knocking him out once again. Once Ron felt he was close enough, the heroic boy slid to a stop.
"Hey! Keep your robot claws off of my girlfriend, asshole!" Ron shouted before tossing the pipe.
The small metal pole clanged against Coyote's metallic hide. Completely undamaged by the pipe, the giant automaton turned to Ron, making a frightened look cross his face.
"Brave of you, boy," Coyote commended. "Foolish but brave."
"I get that a lot," Ron answered.
"No longer, I'm afraid," Coyote said before his hand cannons extended out again.
Just as he opened fire, though, Kim Possible jumped in front of her man, the hands of her battle suit having morphed into scooping gauntlets. With them, the heroine caught every bolt Coyote fired and tossed them back at the robot. Several small bursts ignited across Coyote's form, leaving smoking holes in his armor.
"It would seem I am on the verge of being bested," Coyote said.
"Want to try pressing your luck?" Kim asked sternly.
"I probably could," Coyote said. "But I've just been informed it is no longer necessary."
"Huh?" Kim, Ron, and Rufus said together.
"Well played, heroes," Coyote said. "You are, indeed, worthy adversaries. Some of you... more than others."
"Hey!" Ron said. "I'm the others, aren't I?"
Rather than answer, the red eyes of Coyote's canine head flashed bright, making Kim, Ron, and Rufus turn. Coyote walked away, scooping up his cohorts along the way. When the heroes could look again, they watched as the giant robot smashed through one of the warehouse's walls before turning back to them.
"Until next time, my friends," Coyote said.
"Oh, there'll be a next time, robot," Kim said venomously.
"I'm counting on it," Coyote replied.
With that, the jet thrusters of his feet sent Coyote flying into the air with his fellow Pack members in tow. Kim, Ron, and Rufus stared for a moment before embracing one another.
"We did it!" Ron exclaimed joyously.
"Hooray!" Rufus cheered.
"Kim, you're amazing!"
"You didn't do too bad yourself, Ron," Kim said as she put her arms around him. "You really did have my back when it mattered most. Just like usual."
"Well, you came to save me," Ron said nervously. "I figured I owed you the same courtesy. Besides, where else am I gonna find a girlfriend as hot... nice... and as perfect as you? My hero."
"Come here, Ronald," Kim said in a sultry tone that matched her seductive smile.
With that, the duo shared a kiss.
5 Weeks Later
Kim and Ron looked around the dark room, the latter lightly fidgeting. He looked up at the single light illuminating their confines, which he instantly regretted.
"Ahh! My eyes!" Ron screamed.
"Ron, you know how you're not supposed to stare directly at the sun?" Kim asked. "Same principle here."
"Oh, ha, ha," Ron said. "Very funny."
"Can you just relax?" Kim asked.
"I'm sorry, Kim, but this all still super shady," Ron insisted.
Before Kim could respond, the sound of a door opening permeated the air. The heroine and her boyfriend looked ahead as a figure approached them. As they suspected, it was none other than the head of the Global Justice Network.
"Kim, Ron," the director greeted.
"Dr. Director," Kim responded.
"Hot secret agent lady," Ron said. This made Kim look at him questioningly. "What? Obviously, you're hotter!"
"Thank you both for accepting my invitation," Dr. Director said. "Especially after-"
"What, rescheduling a bunch of times?" Kim asked.
"And being so shady?" Ron added. This made his girlfriend nudge him with her elbow. "Ow, my ribbers."
"I was going to say after what happened with the Pack," Dr. Director answered.
"So... time for the golden question, Betty," Kim said. "What are we doing here? What's the sitch?"
A serious expression crossed the GJN director's face. "I'll cut right to the point. For many years now, the world has faced a slew of humanity-threatening devastations. Drakken's Diablos robot plan. Lord Zedd bringing Serpentera to Earth. The threat of the terrorist organization, Cobra. The Cluster invasions. A few different alien invasions, actually. Even a civil war between alien robots being brought to our planet. Literally, everything that happens in New York. Not to mention every kaiju attack throughout the decades, be it by Godzilla, Rodan, Ghidorah, or any other such abominations. So many times, humanity has faced peril that should have been the end of the human race. But we always manage to pull through... albeit barely.
"And it is because of the hard work of many brave souls, great minds, and super-powered beings who chose to shield humankind rather than end it. Many are on record, even those who think they live a life of secrecy. There may yet be many more super forces out there for us to find, both villains and heroes alike. We must find every individual from these factions so that we may hinder the former and rally the latter."
"Hmm?" Kim and Ron grunted questioningly.
"Let me tell you two about Project: Infinity."
