Chapter 20

Night Raid's Hero

After Izuku and the others took down the Danger Beast, the village was surprised and shouted in excitement and relief. The walls around the village were taken down and the villagers started to celebrate and made a feast to which everyone joined in.

Izuku was held as the star of the celebration as he not only saved the soldiers but he was the reason that Hisake's platoon suffered no casualties. Soldiers cheered and laughed as they drank. Najenda sat with Susanoo and Chelsea as they both watched the young hero-in-training get flustered by the sudden attention.

Hisake stood up and held his beer up in the air, "Again, to our soldiers that worked hard and to this young man who risked his life for us, to Izuku Midoriya!" Hisake cheered.

His soldiers shouted and cheered, "To Izuku Midoriya,"

Izuku just sat there as he awkwardly laughed and mostly hid himself as he was getting embarrassed with all the attention towards him. The villagers joined in as well as they chanted his name. Izuku tried to reason with them that he didn't do anything special but they kept cheering.

"Poor guy is getting all the attention," Chelsea laughed as she watched Izuku try to speak up and reason with the soldiers.

Najenda sat there as she stared at Izuku, "Well he did save all those soldiers from death," Najenda stated

"But I don't get it what good will it do saving those soldiers, for all we know he could just be adding more problems for the Revolutionary Army," Chelsea warned Najenda.

Najenda sighed, "Let's hope not,"

As she tried to take a cigarette out, Hisake approached her, "What are you three sitting there for, aren't you gonna celebrate with your comrade?" He asked.

Najenda shook his head, "It's his celebration, I'll let him enjoy it,"

Hisake sat down next to her, "Hm, if you say so,"

Hisake watched as Izuku helped a wasted soldier up as he frantically tried to calm the rest of his men down. He smiled as he watched a kid who was potentially an enemy help others without hesitation. Hisake knew that the Empire was shit, but what could he do? There was nothing he could do against the Prime minister and General Esdeath.

But seeing the boy helping his enemies made him realize that there was still hope left. That hope was in the young man, a pure hearted boy who only wants to save people.

"Najenda," Hisake spoke up

"Hm?" She hummed

"I think I'm gonna defect from the Empire," Hisake blurted out.

Najenda froze as she was about to light her cigarette. She looked at Hisake with a serious look only to find the man looking at Izuku, as if he was looking at a shining light in the dark.

"Are you sure Hisake, what about your men?" she asked.

"I'll let them decide, they still have family at home," Hisake looked at her.

"Maybe there is still hope in this world after all," Hisake smiled.

Najenda looked at him then at Izuku as he was treated to a mug of beer but politely declined.

'Yeah, a hope from another world,' she smirked.

With Izuku

"Come on kid, just take a sip," a wasted soldier slurred as he tried to hand Izuku a mug of beer.

Izuku sweatdropped and pushed the mug back to him, "Thanks but I'm good really,"

Izuku looked around as he was surrounded by people laughing and smiling now, when he and the others arrived, these people were depressed and desperate but now it's filled with joy and happiness.

Izuku watched as soldiers and villagers were celebrating, drunk and happy. He watched as people were laughing and crying together. He looked around but stopped at a couple, they sat together as they embraced each other. Izuku smiled but then thought about the one assassin that cared for him and others. The assassin that was suffering in the dark.

Akame held a special place in his heart, he didn't want to lose anyone, especially her. He then looked at the couple again, only to see them kiss.

He blushed as he witnessed the couple kiss but what made him even redder was that he imagined Akame and him doing that. He shook his head to clear the image out of his head.

"Thinking of something youngling," a voice spoke to him.

Izuku jumped and turned to his left to see the Elder of the village right next to him.

"O-O-Oh um well," Izuku tried to conjure some words but couldn't.

The Elder laughed as he stared up in the sky.

"It seems you have someone waiting for you, don't you," The old man deduced.

Izuku nodded as he stared into the crowd of celebrating people. He watched as people happily danced and laughed.

"Thanks to you, my people can laugh and dance because of you," the Elder thanked him.

"It wasn't just me, so many people helped. I can't deserve all the credit," Izuku stated.

The elder nodded but then stared back at Izuku.

"My wife and I used to sit here and stare up at the sky," the Elder continued.

Izuku looked at the old man, he saw the man smile up in the sky.

"She would always talk about the sky and tell me that the gods are watching over us," The elder sighed.

Izuku listened to the man intently as he never let his gaze wander anywhere else.

"My wife wanted our daughter to explore the world, but with this going on, I can't risk losing another family member," The Elder clenched his fist.

Izuku nodded as it is to be expected. Losing someone you love hurts, so you try to protect the one thing that holds you together no matter what.

"But after I heard that you saved those soldiers that were supposed to be your enemy, it made me realize that there is still hope in this world," the Elder stated.

Izuku widened his eyes as he looked at the Elder but only to see the man holding to necklaces, one holding an encased ruby with a unique string that held it together and the other was an emerald encased necklace both radiating and glimmering.

"My wife made these, she said that it was to keep two people connected, wherever they go or no matter how far apart they are," the old man quoted.

Izuku awed at the beauty of the necklaces, the ruby one reminded him of a particular assassin's eyes the moment he first met her.

"Young man," the Elder called out

Izuku jumped and straightened himself.

"Yes?" Izuku asked

"I want you to have these necklaces, I have a feeling you'll need them," the Elder smiled.

Izuku frantically shook his head, "I can't have these, they're your wife's, so you should keep them," Izuku tried to decline.

The Elder on the other hand shook his head, "My wife would like you to have this, thanks to you she can rest peacefully now, think of it as a gift,"

Izuku stared at the necklaces then the Elder. He sighed and gently took the necklaces in his hands.

"Thank you Elder, I'll treasure these," Izuku thanked him.

The Elder nodded, "Keep striving young man, whatever path you cross, keep pushing forward,"

Izuku nodded firmly, "Right!"

"Izuku," Najenda called out.

Izuku turned towards the direction of her voice as she stood behind him.

"We need to return to base," Najenda stated.

Izuku nodded as he stood up getting ready to go pack his things.

"Najenda," the Elder called out.

She looked at him, "Yes, Elder?"

"Your army is free to passby my village anytime and take refuge here if they want but they will not live in my people's houses," The Elder informed her.

Najenda nodded and bowed, "Thank you Elder, you kindness is much appreciated,"

"And you boy," the Elder looked towards Izuku.

"Yes?" Izuku asked.

"I hope things work out with you and the person you were thinking of," the Elder smiled.

Izuku raised his eyebrows for a moment until he realized what he meant. Izuku's face turned completely red.

"Wait hold on it's not-" Izuku tried to reason

"Sure it is, boy." The Elder chuckled.

Izuku covered his face with his arms as he practically ran towards the tent that he and the other two were stationed in.

Najenda chuckled, "Still the same kid," as she walked towards where Izuku ran off.

Few minutes later

Izuku and the others finished packing and were now in front of the entrance of the village.

"I sent the message to my superiors that we now have access to the village and told them the condition that you wanted," Najenda informed the Elder.

He nodded as he bowed, "Be safe on your journey home,"

Najenda bowed, she then turned towards Hisake and his men.

"So what will you do now that our temporary alliance is over," Najenda asked him.

"My men and I will return to the Empire and report back to His Highness of the situation and my men's retirement," Hisake stated.

Najenda nodded as she stuck her hand out, "Until we meet again old friend,"

Hisake smiled, "Until we meet again,"

Hisake shook her hand and went his separate way. Najenda turned towards the village.

"The Revolutionary Army will protect you from here on out, I guarantee it," Najenda informed the Elder.

He nodded as the villagers started to wave the group goodbye. Izuku waved back at them as they departed back to the main camp of the Revolutionary Army.

On their journey back Izuku stared back at the necklaces he was given and remembered the words the Elder said to him.

"My wife said that these necklaces keep two people connected no matter where they are or how far apart from each other,"

Izuku held onto the necklace that had the ruby in it and stored the one that had the emerald in his bag. 'No matter how far apart huh,' Izuku quoted in his head.

Revolutionary Army Camp

Izuku and the others have returned from the village as soldiers gathered around, having heard of the news from the letter that Najenda had sent them. They were congratulated and complimented on the success of the mission.

"As expected of Ex-general Najenda," one soldier cried out

"Another step forward to peace," another cried out.

As the soldiers started to cheer, the commander of the camp walked towards Najenda.

"Alright, that's enough. Get back to work all of you," he ordered them.

The soldiers quieted down and went back to their stations. The commander sighed and turned to Najenda.

"Great job on the mission Night Raid, rest a bit before you head back to your base," the Commander recommended.

Najenda nodded, "Understood, we'll rest up a bit before heading back,"

Najenda turned towards the team, "You're all free to do as you please until we head back,"

Izuku and the rest nodded as Chelsea headed somewhere else. As for Susanoo, he stayed by Najenda's side.

Izuku headed towards a certain armory tent to see a certain someone. As he headed towards the tent, he was greeted by many soldiers as they complimented him on his achievements.

After a few minutes of strolling through the camp, he found the armory tent.

He entered to see a familiar man with an eye patch and the same little stubble he had on his chin.

The man looked up to see Izuku.

He smiled, "Hey kid glad you're back in one piece,"

Izuku nodded, "Thanks to the gauntlets, I made it back in one piece,"

Mark nodded as he walked towards Izuku, "Just be careful with those, alright who knows what could happen," he warned him.

Izuku nodded in response.

"Speaking of which, I heard you saved a bunch of Imperial soldiers," Mark stated.

Izuku nodded, "Um yeah, I did what I had to do,"

Mark shook his head, "Their the enemy, you shouldn't concern yourself with them,"

Mark implied

Izuku widened his eyes and shook his head, "Even if we are enemies, that doesn't mean they aren't human beings like us, they're just people following orders out of fear," Izuku dejected

"I won't allow people to suffer anymore, I'll save them, even if they are my enemy," Izuku continued with determination in his voice and eyes.

Mark widened his eyes as he was surprised by his answer. He then smirked, then laughed.

"You're full of surprises kid, I gotta say you're one of a kind." Mark exclaimed.

Izuku just rubbed his head as he blushed slightly.

"Anyways kid, you need any repairs that you need," Mark asked.

Izuku shook his head, "No. Just came to say hi, I'll be leaving soon-" before Izuku could finish his sentence, Najenda busted through the tent flaps.

"Izuku! We need to head back to the base immediately," Najenda exclaimed.

Izuku looked at her surprised.

"The base has been attacked," Najenda explained.

Izuku's eyes widened as the people that were back in the base ran through his head, especially Eri, who's just a little girl.

Izuku nodded firmly and followed Najenda out of the tent.

Mark stood there as he watched the greenette rush out. He sighed and looked at the box that the gauntlets were in.

"I guess you were right Kitsune, he really does have potential," Mark muttered.

With Izuku and Najenda

It was night already as Najenda had gathered Susanoo, Chelsea, and Izuku to return to the base and repel the attackers on the base.

"Alright everyone we leave now, we can't delay any longer," Najenda ordered.

"Roger!" They responded.

But before they could go a beast landed in front of them, it looked to be a flying manta ray but a person was on it.

It was the commander of the camp, "Here take this, it'll be faster this way," the commander suggested.

Najenda nodded, "Thank you commander, Everyone get on quick, time is of the essence," Najenda ordered.

Everyone quickly hopped on the Danger Beast. The commander got off the beast and saluted to them as the beast lifted off. As they soared through the air. Izuku was trying to stay on the beast.

"Najenda, how did they find the base," he asked.

"It appears that Tatsumi was kidnapped by the imperial army to be a new recruit, but as he escaped one of the enemies tracked him down," Najenda explained.

Izuku widened his eyes, 'Tatsumi was kidnapped?' He thought.

"Anyways, we have to be there before something bad happens," Najenda stated.

Izuku nodded as he looked forward to the direction where the base was.

"Eri…

Tatsumi…

Sheele…

Mein…

Lubbock…

Leone…

Akame…

Wait for us, we're coming," Izuku muttered.

Night Raid Base

As the base was now under siege, Tatsumi and Mein were defending the base from outside as Sheele, Lubbock and Akame were executing the intruders. Sheele was protecting Eri as Lubbock and Akame dealt with the intruders. Meanwhile at the Eastside of the base was a cliff where a man that looked to be a doctor with a look of a mad scientist esthetic.

This person was Doctor Stylish, one of the Jaegers, specifically the group that hunts down Night Raid. He has three people with him, one that has improved eyesight, one with improved hearing and the other has a good sense of smell. But all of Doctor Stylish's men were all bioengineered and that they did not feel pain.

"Sheele is Eri Alright," Akame asked as she sheathed Murasame.

Sheele nodded, "She's fine, how are things in here,"

Akame shook her head, "It seems they found us, they surrounded the entire area, we need to regroup with Tatsumi, Mein and Leone," Akame stated.

Sheele nodded, "But what about Eri, we can't bring her into the crossfire,"

Akame nodded as she kneeled in front of Eri as the little girl was shaking.

"Eri, I'm going to need you to hide in here for now," Akame calmly told Eri.

Eri shook her head, "What about all of you, I-I don't want to be left alone," she stuttered.

Akame smiled gently to her, "Eri I promise I'll be back, but for your safety, you need to hide," Akame reasoned with her.

Eri slightly nodded as she was on the verge of tears.

"Guys we don't have time, more are coming this way," Lubbock warned.

Akame nodded as she calmly looked at Eri, "Eri, I need you to trust me, can you do that?" She asked.

Eri hesitated but then nodded.

She ran down the hall and went to hide in Izuku's room.

Akame sighed as she looked at the two who were with her, "Let's regroup with others, right away,"

"Roger," they responded.

Outside

Tatsumi, Mein and Leone were together as they were chatting about what's going on.

"I guess they followed Tatsumi's scent here, damn and thought we hid it well," Leone cursed.

Tatsumi clenched his fist, "Damn it, sorry guys, I screwed up," Tatsumi cursed himself.

Leone shook her head, "Don't worry about it, right now let's just survive, we need to regroup with the others,"

On que Akame, Lubbock, and Sheele ran towards them, "Is everyone alright?" Akame asked.

"Akame, you guys you're alright," Tatsumi sighed in relief to see everyone together again.

But the reunion was short as thousands of foot soldiers surrounded them. They got into stance as they were ready to take every single one of them down.

"It can't be helped, let's take all of them down before the Boss and Izuku get back," Tatsumi exclaimed.

Akame nodded. But they all froze except Tatsumi, Tatsumi widened his eyes as everyone fell down.

"Guys? What's wrong," Tatsumi concernedly asked.

"My...body...won't...move," Mein struggled to get her words out.

Tatsumi looked around to see he was the only one standing.

"This was just like on the boat, a Teigu?" Tatsumi guessed.

"No...this is...poison," Akame deduced.

Tatsumi looked around as the enemies were closing in.

"Damn, we can't take them on now, I'm the only one that can fight, that means I'll just have to protect them all," Tatsumi muttered.

He got into stance as he was ready to take them all on.

But then something fell from the sky as it plummeted down on the army of the bioengineered soldiers. Night Raid looked surprised to see a man with dark blue hair with horns and what looked to be holding a mace like weapon.

"Susanoo, eradicate the enemies," a shout from the sky was heard as everyone looked up to see a giant manta ray soaring in the skies.

A sigh of relief washed over everyone of the members as they were relieved to see their boss.

Meanwhile inside of the base

Eri was hiding under the bed of Izuku's room but she heard a door open as it was a quiet footstep. Eri held her breath as she was frightened and afraid. She didn't know what to do as the footsteps kept pacing through the room.

Until it went quiet.

Eri had not moved a muscle as everything was too quiet. Until the bed that Eri was hiding under was flipped over. Eri screamed as she saw a man in a mask as he protruded claws out of his hand. He was ready to bring it down on Eri until she heard one word.

"Smash!"

On que Izuku busted through the walls and smashed his foot into the intruder's face as it launched him outside of the base.

Eri opened her eyes to see her hero had arrived. Eri's tears started to flow as Izuku turned towards her.

"Eri! Are you alright? Are you hurt?" Izuku questioned.

But none of those questions were answered as Eri ran up to him and hugged as she started to cry her tears out on him. As Izuku smiled and hugged her back, a loud explosion was heard outside. Izuku wanted to check what was going on but he couldn't leave Eri here.

"Deku-san, is everyone alright?" She had a worried expression.

Izuku shook his head, "I don't know, but their strong, trust me,"

Izuku took a look outside, hoping that everyone was alright. He then felt a tug on his pants as he looked down.

"We need to help them," Eri was shaking but she had determination in her eyes.

Izuku stared at her, "Are you sure, it's dangerous out, I don't want to risk your life Eri," Izuke warned her.

She nodded.

Izuku knew she wouldn't take no for an answer, he sighed.

"Alright but if it gets dangerous you run the other way okay?" Izuku asked.

Eri nodded.

Izuku then turned around and squatted down.

"Hop on my back," Izuku told her.

Eri started to climb on his back as she was on his back, Izuku stood up and activated his gauntlets as they surged a green aura and the white metallic bandage wrapped around his forearms.

"Hold on tight," Izuku instructed Eri.

Eri held onto Izuku tight as Izuku channeled One for All 30% throughout his body as the green lightning danced around his body brightly.

He then burst out the room as he soared through the air. He then traveled back to where Najenda and the giant manta ray beast was.

Before the arrival of Najenda and Izuku

As they soared through the sky, racing towards the base. Izuku activated 20% Full Cowling. He wanted to be ready for anything.

"Izuku," Najenda called out.

He turned towards her.

"Once we arrive there, go check on Eri. I'm sure the others have told her to hide but I believe there could be scavengers," Najenda ordered.

Izuku firmly nodded.

"And also, are you going to tell the others what you told me?" Najenda asked him.

Izuku froze as he looked straight into her eyes. Najenda was waiting for an answer as he kept staring into her eyes.

He then looked forward, "I… don't know, Once we know everyone is safe, I'll decide." Izuku answered her.

Najenda nodded as she also faced forward.

"Alright, everyone were closing in on the base, Izuku your mission is to rescue anyone in trouble, the rest execute on sight," Najenda ordered.

"Roger!" They responded.

Present

As Izuku jumped from tree to tree, he spotted the Manta ray, he also was told that there was poison air in the area so Najenda told him a route where he couldn't be affected by the poison. But to be safe he had his mask on and rushed through the forest with Eri on his back.

He then jumped up in the air and grabbed onto the Manta ray's tail. He then landed on its back as Najenda turned around to see the young hero safe and sound with the little girl.

"Good you're back, mission accomplished, now it's just the target," Najenda spoke up.

Izuku nodded as he safely put eri down.

"Hold on tight Eri," Izuku told her.

She nodded.

As she held on to the beast Izuku looked where the target was as he was a doctor with three others with him. He deduced that the three others must be for recon and surveillance or his guards that are highly skilled and could rival Night Raid.

Najenda then directed the Manta ray towards the others that were affected by the poison. As they were heading towards there there was a loud booming voice as Izuku turned around to see that a giant humanoid creature stood tall as he could hear laughter coming from the humanoid creature.

As they landed, Izuku got off and rushed off to help the others. "Greenie your back," Leone exclaimed.

Izuku smiled under his mask, "Sorry we're late but we're here now,"

Leone chuckled as she helped Lubbock. Before Izuku could get any words out, he felt an earthquake as he looked towards the source as the humanoid was smashing the ground as he tried to squash someone.

He looked around to see that Akame, Tatsumi and Susanoo were not present. He then looked over at the battle again to see the three battling the humanoid doctor. Before he could do anything Najenda placed her hands on his shoulder.

"Don't do anything reckless, got it?" Najenda warned.

Izuku smiled and nodded.

"Roger!" He responded.

As he activated Full Cowling 30% and dashed towards the fight.

The Battle

As Susanoo tried to damage the body, it was ineffective as the body seemed to be hard as steel. He then dodged an incoming hand about to slam at his position. He swiftly dodged and landed a safe distance away from Doctor Stylish.

Tatsumi was carrying Akame on his back as he charged in to let Akame land a strike on the doctor but it was ineffective as the doctor continued his rampaging barrage. As Tatsumi was trying to find an opening as he danced around the humanoid. Until an opening was created as a flash hit the humanoid, causing the Doctor to lose his balance.

Mein was on the Manta ray, assisted by Najenda for her to hold her aim steady on Pumpkin. Tatsumi saw this and hopped on his leg and dashed towards the head. The doctor tried to intercept Tatsumi and Akame but Susanno swiftly appeared before his right hand and blocked it with his mace.

As they approached further, the doctor protruded multiple wires that had needles at the end and tried to pierce them but Tatsumi dodged most of them as he threw Akame towards Doctor Stylish as she unscathed Murasame. But then the needles started to aim for Akame.

The needles raced towards her as she couldn't change her directory in the air but she didn't flinch as if she wasn't worried at all.

As the needles came close, a bright green lightning flash appeared in between her and the needles and her as Izuku used Full Gauntlets to create a powerful air blast with his fist to change the course of the needles trajectory. But two needles were heading towards him and Akame.

But then instinctively, he activated his new found abilities, Black Whip. The black tendrils formed on his hands as they started to wrap around the needles and he used his strength to drag them down. As Akame flew past him aiming for the Doctor.

But the Doctor had one more needle aiming for her as Izuku tried to move towards her but he then felt intense pain coursing through his body as he stopped in his tracks.

"Dammit! Not again," Izuku cursed.

Akame then had to block the attack as she was sent flying back.

Izuku widened his eyes as he activated 30% Full Cowling quickly and raced to catch her. He then grabbed her arm and pulled her close to him as he landed safely on the ground.

The humanoid was about to recover from the blast of Pumpkin. Izuku looked at the struggling titan.

Izuku had to think quickly, as he instinctively dashed towards the giant. His arms still covered with the Teigu, he channeled One for All into his arms as he paced forward.

"75% One for All Full Gauntlet," Izuku then had to push his limits more as he channeled the rest of the energy throughout his body.

"45% Full Cowling!" As Izuku was now a blur, creating dust behind him as he climbed back on the humanoid giant and raced towards Doctor Stylish. The doctor intercepted with his left hand, in order to Smash Izuku into a million pieces.

But he couldn't keep up with Izuku's speed as he slipped past his hand as it came down. The doctor then raised his right hand and proceeded to try and do the same thing but his giant form was too slow to keep up with Izuku. All he could see was a bright green lightning racing towards him.

The doctor tried to recall his needles but it was too late as Izuku was already upon him.

Izuku floated above him as time slowed down. The Doctor watched as the hero was glowing and all he could see was a pair of eyes, completely white as electricity danced around him brightly.

Izuku reeled his right fist back as the energy started to flow through his arm as power started to build up. The doctor was not afraid though but more astonished then fearing for his life as he saw what looked to him beautiful lightning dancing around the perfect specimen he had ever seen.

But before he could say anything a fist, wrapped around in white metallic bandages, smashed into his face as Izuku roared as he used all his strength and plummeted the doctor out of the humanoid body and smashed him into the ground, creating a larger crater underneath the Doctor.

As the rocks, rumble and trees started to fly up because of how strong the wind current and power of the attack Izuku created.

A cloud of dust was formed as the area was completely covered in dust clouds. Tatsumi and Akame covered their faces as Susanoo stood there as he awaited the outcome.

As the dust settled, they could see shadows as one was above the other that was laying down. As it cleared up, they saw Izuku holding Doctor Stylish by the collar as Izuku looked exhausted.

Izuku then started to question him, "Why… why experiment on people's lives as if they were you toys,"

The doctor laughed, "Why? Isn't it obvious, for my research, to create the perfect being that could rival 'that' Teigu,"

Izuku didn't know what he was saying, but he was furious, a person who toyed with others and sent them to die knowing full well they couldn't match against experienced assassins.

He grunted his teeth, "You took the freedom of people and made them into your puppets but not only that, you sacrificed them in order for your own growth, I can't forgive you but I can't kill you," Izuku was biting his lips as he said those words.

The doctor smirked, "And that makes you vulnerable" as he pushed Izuku off of him, making Izuku lose his balance.

Doctor Stylish then pulled out a needle and tried to plunge it into Izuku but Izuku then grabbed his arms and turned his back on the doctor and flipped him over and smashed him to the ground.

"Kraggh!" The Doctor coughed.

"It's over, please just rest and you don't have to lose your life,"

Doctor Stylish smiled wickedly as he laughed, "I'm a part of the Jaegers, I won't listen to someone who won't contribute to my experiment as he tried to plunge the syringe into Izuku but a sword pierced his body as it appeared in his lower abdomen.

The doctor stuttered as he turned to see Akame behind him with Murasame plunged into his back.

"Eliminate," Akame muttered.

As the Doctor started to panic as his life started to fade. The poison reached his heart quickly. He then looked at Izuku and laughed before he then faded from this world.

Akame then pulled her sword out as she wiped the blood and sheathed her blade. She then looked up to see Izuku with a solemn look as he stared at the dead body of the doctor.

Izuku held his right arm as he clenched it as if he regretted everything.

'Why is this the only way… why can't the killing end,' Izuku asked himself.

As Izuku looked at Akame, she had a sad look as she stared at him. Izuku tried to walk towards her, but then his body started to collapse as the aftermath of pushing his limits started to catch up to him as he then fell forward. But luckily Akame was in front of him as she caught him.

"I'm sorry Izuku, but you can rest now. Welcome Back," Akame whispered in his ears.

End
