Hello! Cheers to another chapter out! This one is a bit shorter than the other so my apologies for that but I just wanna say, two years ago I started this story and so many have read this story. Thank you so much, I hope I get better at writing and continue to write stories. Without further ado on with the chapter.

Chapter 29

Ferocious Rage

Natasha held her father's cold body as she mourned her father's death. Izuku clenched his fist as he felt frustrated. All the power he had and yet he couldn't save him, he couldn't save someone again. Izuku felt a painful burn on his arms as he looked at them. His arms were slightly bruised from using 100% out of the blue like that.

When he fought Ivan, he wanted to get the backpack off of him but it all changed when he witnessed Ivan burn a hole through Helios, Izuku snapped and unconsciously used 100% without thinking, like rage consumed him for the moment.

"Deku…"

Izuku turned towards the voice to see Mura standing there as he slowly approached the two. Izuku looked down as he shook his head, Mura widened his eyes as he saw Natasha crying over Helios's body.

Mura frowned as he looked away. At the moment, all they felt was guilt. Hisake watched from afar as his troops were tying up Ivan as he was unconscious and would most likely not be able to wake up anytime soon.

"Hisake, what should we do now?"

Hisake turned towards his troops, "Have the men search for any stragglers, make sure none escape,"

"Roger!" They responded as they spreaded out, searching the area.

Hisake grabbed Níðhöggr and strapped it on his back as he approached the three. The three noticed him as he then bowed his head towards Natasha.

"I'm sorry for your loss, I humbly apologize for being unable to stop Ivan at the time," Hisake apologized.

Natasha just stayed silent as she continued to hold her father. She didn't say anything, all she felt was sorrow in her. They heard more footsteps approaching them as they looked behind them to see Kensei with the rescued captives following behind him.

Kensei noticed Helios as he then looked at Natasha, he wanted to say something but nothing left his mouth. He stayed silent as the captives looked at Natasha and at Helios as they all huddled around her. They all kneeled around her as they were all silent, all could be heard was Natasha's cries as the remaining four watched in silence as Izuku still was angry at himself. He failed again, just like Bulat, he failed to save someone again.

Hisake placed his hand on Izuku's shoulder. Izuku turned as he looked at the former imperial captain in the eye. Hisake just shook his head as he led Izuku away from the crowd.

Izuku followed right beside him in silence, all that could be heard was the wind howling and some yells from the Revolutionary scouts that were cleaning up the place.

"It's been a while, kid," Hisake spoke up.

Izuku nodded as he looked at the man, "Yeah… since the village that we saved,"

Hisake smiled as he looked around the camp, the camp that was a battlefield for a brief moment.

"Indeed…but that was all you, like how you saved these people from their captor," Hisake stated.

Izuku still felt like he failed, he didn't feel like he won, so many have lost their lives to Ivan. Izuku widened his eyes in realization.

"Wait, where is Ivan? Is he-"

"Ivan is in the custody of the Revolutionary Army as of right now, he'll be escorted back to HQ for interrogation," Hisake reassured him.

Izuku sighed as he stopped for a moment as Hisake stopped ahead and turned around to look at the young man.

"Was it all worth it? Everything we've fought until now, was the sacrifice worth it?" Izuku questioned.

Izuku kept questioning, was a sacrifice even necessary for this? Did Helios have to die?

Hisake stood there for a moment until he sighed as he walked up to Izuku and placed a hand on his shoulder.

"Deku, It's not your fault that Helios chose this path, he chose to fight for his people. He knew what he was getting into. He died for his people, his daughter," Hisake solemnly told him.

"But still, I wasn't strong enough… if only I was strong enough, then maybe I could've…"

Izuku gazed at his hands as they were slightly injured during his overexertion of using One for All. Hisake noticed his injured arm as he sighed.

"Deku, I know it isn't an ideal outcome you wanted but that's reality. Sometimes we have to accept it and move on,"

Izuku let his hands down as he just looked at the ground. He didn't say anything, he just wished he could've been stronger.

"I'll let you think about it, but first you should get your arms checked, don't want permanent damage on your arms,"

Hisake let go of his shoulder as he walked towards his men as Izuku stood there silently as he walked back towards where everyone was. Izuku looked up to see them carry Helios as they walked towards the direction of the village. Natasha being in front of them as Izuku stopped in his tracks as he couldn't help but blame himself, if he was strong enough, if only he could've ended the fight fast enough. None of this would've happened. Helios would still be alive with his family.

Izuku heard some noises over at a tent, he recognized the voice as he walked towards the direction of the tent as when he was about to turn the corner when he heard.

"You think Night Raid completed their mission," Kensei asked.

"Don't know, we haven't received anything back but I hope they were successful." Mura answered

Izuku froze as he widened his eyes, 'Mission? What mission,'

"I'm sure they're having a tough time facing against the Jaegers," Kensei leaned back a bit on a box as he sighed.

"I'm sure Night Raid will finish the job, all we need to do is help this village and make sure Deku doesn't know about their mission, the last thing we want him is to go over to the Main Road of Romari" Mura squared down on the snow.

"Right, let's hope-"

Before Kensei could finish, they heard a strange noise as if something was powering up and then a massive wind gust blew away a pile of snow as they saw a hint of green electricity. They ran around the corner and saw Izuku sprinting away from them, slowly disappearing from their visions.

Kensei and Mura stood there as Kensei slapped his forehead.

"Shit…"

Mura only kept staring at Izuku, worried about him. Mura knew Izuku was bound to find out somehow but they were at fault, he knew that.

"We should report-"

"No, for now let's help Natasha and her village for now," Mura interrupted him.

Kensei looked at Mura in confusion.

"This is Deku's and Night Raid's problem for now,"

Romari Main Road

On the road, clashing could be heard as it echoed across the cliffs. Bols launched a fireball at Akame and Leone as both of them split in different directions. Akame dashed towards Bols, a person jumped in front of him with a riot shield, this person was Wall, a puppet used by Kurome. Akame slid under him as she brought her blade towards Bols. But he was ready as he had armor underneath his sleeve as he countered Akames attack. Akame jumped back while dodging a flame blast from Bols.

Leone tried to get a sneak attack in as she threw a fist at Bols but Wall blocked it and pushed her away.

"God Dammit your annoying!" Leone yelled in frustration.

As they fought, other battles were taking place, Tatsumi fought against Natala but he was struggling as the puppet countered every attack he threw at him. Stood ready to strike again with Natala.

'Dammit this guy is on the same level as me, no probably even greater than me,' Tatsumi gritted his teeth as he remembered his training with Susanoo and Bulat.

He let out a deep breath as he then looked at Natala, he focused his gaze only on the puppet as he completely zoned out any noise. Tatsumi vanished from his spot as he appeared in front of Natala with frightening speed as he slammed down Neuntote. Natala blocked it with his own spear but Tatsumi let go of his own as he then drove his fist into the puppets stomach as he sent Natala skidding back.

Kurome was surprised by this as she knew that Natala was supposed to be slightly stronger than him but yet the Incursio user completely overwhelmed him.

Then Kurome heard noise from behind as she turned to see her other puppet, a Danger Beast that appeared to be a frog, as beams of light started to shoot out of its back.

Kurome widened her eyes as she ran around the giant frog.

"What! She shouldn't have survived with all that acid in his-!"

Kurome spotted a hole on its side as she stopped at face-palmed her face as if she was dumb.

"That was dumb of me, this puppet is totally useless now," she berated it.

Another beam shot out as Mein crawled out of the frog, "Ugh that was the worst experience ever!"

Tatsumi looked up and saw her, "Mein? What are you doing here?"

Mein angrily looked at him, "Don't just stand there and help out of this thing!"

Tatsumi was about to move until he noticed movement in the corner of his eye as he turned to see Natala again rushing him, Natala was coming at him at full speed. Already in front of the Incursio user, Natala tried to sever him from the waist. But Tatsumi reacted in time as he caught the spear just in time.

Kurome was again surprised at how fast the Incursio user was, it's like he was at an all time alert.

Tatsumi brought his left hand out as he threw his fist at the puppet as Natala blocked the blow with his right arm but was sent back a few feet away from him.

"I wasn't expecting anyone to actually combat against Natala," Kurome complimented whilst hiding her frustration.

Tatsumi got into a low stance as he smirked under his face mask. "Let's just say my friend is a lot faster than your puppet,"

Over the course of the preparation of the Operation, Tatsumi and Izuku trained while the latter was getting ready for his own mission.

Tatsumi's eyes brightened as he stopped on the ground, creating a small crack on the ground as he was prepared to charge.

Kurome got ready until she noticed movement on her left as she turned to see Susanoo charging at her as he tried to kick her head clean off but only for her to dodge in time as she backed away from them.

"Watch out, she now has fewer puppets to control, which means…"

A dark aura surrounded Kurome as she smiled, "That she isn't burdened heavily,"

Meanwhile with Akame and Leone fighting against Bols. The battle was even, both of them counter and dodging each other's attacks.

Akame tried to land a hit on bols but he blocked it with his flamethrower as he then launched a fireball at her as she quickly ducked her head as she rolled back as she skidded across the floor.

"Before we continue," Bols said.

Akame looked at him curiously, "Why did you join the Revolutionary Army Akame, why did you defect,"

Akame stood up as she then placed her fist against her chest, "Because I saw the darkness in the Empire, so I chose to follow my heart! I will choose the path that I believe in!" Akame shouted with determination.

Bols stood there silently as he then looked at her with admiration under his mask.

"Honestly we could've been great allies…but"

He looked at her with fire in his eyes, "It's my job to burn that conviction!"

He fired flames at her as Akame dodged it swiftly as she then lunged at him with incredible speed. Bols launched a series of flames at her as she stopped as she was about to dodge them until Sheele jumped in front of her and used Extase as a shield.

Blocking the flames entirely, she gestured Akame to go as she did. Sprint towards Bols at incredible speed.

Wall appeared in front of her but she slid under his legs, she adjusted her sword to the left of her as she then swung. Cutting Wall's legs off as he fell.

Bols widened his eyes as he then prepared to fire at her but then he noticed Leone approaching at incredible speed.

"Not a chance, big guy!"

Leone was about to strike him down but then a harpoon shot through arm as she widened her eyes as Akame also did as she turned to see Wall with a harpoon gun attached to his arm. Leone gritted her teeth as she then opened her mouth wide as she shouted on the top of her lungs.

She bit down on the end of the flamethrower as she tore it apart, making Bols Teigu unusable. Bols widened his eyes as he watched as it happened.

Leone spat out the end of the barrel as she smirked, "Looks like you can't use your Teigu, it's over Bols,"

Bols stood there as he nodded, "Your right it is, but not just for me,"

The three widened their eyes as Bols grabbed his backpack that emitted the flames as he threw it up in the air. Leone was horrified as she noticed what he was doing.

"Wait don't-"

Bols brought out a button as he then stared at it intensely.

Leone braced for impact as Sheele ran towards Akame and blocked the blinding light with Extase.

"I'm taking you all with me,"

His finger then put pressure on the button as it then reacted.

Kurome saw a glimpse of light as the rest noticed it as well, but they all quickly reacted as Tatsumi covered Mein and Susanoo covered Najenda, protecting them from…

BOOOOM!

Bzzzt!

Izuku widened his eyes as he then turned his head as he saw a massive explosion off in the distance. He felt the shockwave travel to where he was and she had to cover his face a bit.

He widened his eyes in horror, "Akame… everyone!"

Izuku jumped in the air as he propelled himself with Air Force as he traveled to where the explosion was.

Izuku was about to launch further until he felt it again, the stabbing pain in his head again. Izuku dodge in time to see a spiked ball pass by him as he looked where it was until he saw a familiar girl, she had auburn hair with amber eyes. She had a crazed look until she noticed the mask that Izuku was wearing.

Izuku landed in front of her as she then got into a fighting stance.

"Vigilante Deku, under the order of the Empire, you are to come with me,"

Izuku noticed the dig right next to her was growling. Until he breathed slowly, she then gave him a death stare.

"And to question your relationship with the Rebellion," she hissed.

Izuku noticed blood around them as he also noticed dismembered body parts around them. Izuku clenched his fist in anger, he felt anger flow through him, not just that he felt lied to. The rage he felt, not being able to save the ones who needed him.

The Operation behind his back, someone could die. He couldn't allow that, and this girl was in his way but also not, to truly see why the killing was so common.

Izuku looked at her with the same stare under his mask as she felt it, the intensity of his stare.

"Tell me, did these people deserve it," he questioned her.

Seryu looked around as she smiled, "Of course they did, evil should be eradicated, no matter the case,"

Seryu's eyes were crazed as she stared back at the emerald eyes. "Evil will be destroyed, this is 'true justice'!"

"All you're doing is creating more evil, tell me, killing someone without reason all for the sake of your justice,"

Izuku activated 30% Full Cowling as he activated, the wind started blowing against Seryu.

"Is it really 'True Justice',"

Seryu shivered as the stare was sending her alarms, this Vigilante was not playing around anymore.

The ferocious rage leaked out of the hero.

With Night Raid

Akame coughed a bit as she looked around to see the ground scorched as the sky was covered in gray smoke. She placed her hands on the ground as she then felt something, it was her necklace that Izuku gave to her, completely shattered. She widened her eyes as she picked up the broken necklace. She saw Sheele knocked out as she laid there.

Akame checked to see if she was alright, but she was only just out cold because of the explosion.

"Akame, are you okay," Leone called out.

Akame looked up to see Leone as she was covered in scratches.

"Leone, I'm alright," she smiled.

"That's good… I'm… glad,"

Leone then collapsed in front of her as Akame widened her eyes, "Leone?"

"Leone!"

After the explosion, Bols could be seen walking out of the area as he headed into the forest, holding his left arm. He sighed as he wondered if his wife was going to scold him. He remembered his time with the Jaegers,

"I hope I can eat with everyone again,"

He then heard crying as he turned to see a little girl crying. He panicked, "Little girl what are you doing here it's dangerous,"

He then gently approached her as he then gently patted her back as he noticed her leg injured. The girl noticed him and since he had a mask on.

"Ahhh! A monster," she cried out.

Bols brought his hand up, "I'm not a monster, I can help you with that leg of yours though,"

He brought out a cloth as he then wrapped it around the leg as he chanted a saying, "You'll be fine, the pain will go away,"

The little girl smiled, "Thank you sir!"

Bols smiled under his mask as the girl went in for a hug, "But the people you burned, their pain will never go away,"

Bols widened his eyes but it was too late, a needle jabbed into a vital point of his neck as smoke appeared, uncovering Chelsea as she looked at Bols.

"That girl was from a village you burned but you wouldn't remember that," Chelsea stood up as she walked past Bols.

Bols fell to the floor but he crawled away, he struggled to keep his eyes opened, in the end he started to tear up as he remembered his family

He knew.

He knew that he was going to get what he deserved, for burning so many alive.

He knew.

He knew… and yet he still wanted to live, to see his friends, his family.

They are waiting for him, his daughter.

He reached his hands out as tears flowed through his mask

"They're…waiting…!"

Before he knew it, Bols died as Chelsea hid behind a tree as she sighed, "Showdowns between people in the shadows are nauseating,"

She then grabbed a equipment from her Teigu as she then transformed into Bols as her conviction was clear, "Kurome is next,"

With Seryu

"Seryu…"

"Seryu…!"

"Seryu!"

She opened her eyes in shock as she saw Esdeath and Run above her as she laid on her back.

"Seryu are you alright," Esdeath asked.

She widened her eyes, "The Vigilante," she abruptly sat up but then felt a pulsating pain on her stomach. She clenched it as she turned to see Koro knocked out as well.

Esdeath looked at her, "You fought the Vigilante?"

Seryu nodded, "I was about to but I blacked out,"

Esdeath noticed something as she lifted Seryu's shirt up to see a massive bruise on her stomach.

Esdeath determined a massive blow punched her so hard that she blacked out before she could even move.

Esdeath seemed to underestimate the Vigilante, 'He maybe a formidable opponent after all,'

Seryu was quiet as she remembered The words that the Vigilante said.

"Killing someone without reason all for the sake of your justice,"

She still remembered the stare that he gave her, it sent shivers down her spine, he was different from before they first encountered each other.

"Is it really 'True Justice',"

Seryu gritted her teeth in frustration.

With Kurome

She was shaking as she tightly gripped the snacks that she was about to eat, the drugs that kept her sane. She breathed slowly as she kept eating them, the drugs that kept killing her slowly.

She wanted to have a one on one with her sister but it led to many dolls getting destroyed and the Incursio user almost got Natala.

But there was one thing on her mind,

"Where did Big Sis get that necklace from?"

She wanted to know so badly but she couldn't find that answer for a while.

Kurome heard rustling as she then became alert until she noticed a familiar face.

"Bols, you got out alive!"

"Kurome! So it was you,"

Kurome was glad that her friend got out alive.

"How did you get out alive," she asked.

"I was put into training and built up a resistance to fire in the incineration squad,"

Kurome smiled, "That's good,"

"Though I lost my Teigu in the process," 'Bols' said.

She smiled, "Well don't feel to bad, at least you came out alive,"

She got up as she then turned to 'Bols', "Let's get back to the Captain and report,"

They then walked together but before they could go far, Kurome fell to her knees as she held her head as 'Bols' noticed this.

"Kurome, are you alright?"

He crouched down as he patted her back.

"Sorry, the fight took a lot out of me, and the drugs aren't helping with the pain,"

"I can help you with that, so you don't have to feel the pain anymore,"

Kurome felt a hand under her chin as she then looked at Bols but then felt a needle jab into her neck as she widened her eyes to see Bols disappear and was replaced with a girl she didn't know.

Chelsea looked at her with sadness in her eyes. "There, it won't hurt anymore,"

She stood up as Kurome fell to the floor, she uttered something before she fell.

"Big…sis…,"

Chelsea looked at the body as she sighed as she remembered her first time killing someone, she hoped to create a peaceful world where everyone can smile…!

She remembered the greenette and his optimism, she chuckled, "Looks like I adopted some of his nature,"

She then walked away, but it was not over, not even the slightest. A daunting darkness loomed over Chelsea as she walked away.

"Hey…"

Chelsea widened her eyes in horror

"The pain didn't go away~"

Chelsea turned around to see Kurome still standing, covering her face.

"But…how…?"

Kurome's eyes were crazed as she smiled, "They drugged me so much that it made me more advanced, though it's taxing but you either have to destroy my heart or sever my head for me to dead,"

She smiled creepily. Chelsea felt the aura around her as she shivered at the cold aura she emitted.

Chelsea then dispersed smoke around them as she sprinted away.

"Crap this is bad, I have to transform and get out-"

Before she could get anything done, her Teigu was shot through, destroying her Teigu as well as her hand was shot. Right through her palm, she widened her eyes as she turned to see her puppets behind her, Doya and Natala.

Kurome was barely standing as she then looked at Chelsea as she ran away, "She…killed…Bols…"

"Avenge Bols, Chop her into pieces Natala!"

She ran out of the treeline to see a field of flowers as she then breathed heavily as she kept looking back.

She held her hand but then Natala jumped in front of her as Chelsea was shocked as she tried to step back but Natala rotated his body as he then cut her right arm off as Chelsea was in a state of horror.

She was then shot in her abdomen as a bullet flew through. She spat out blood as she then landed on the flowers.

She laid there as her life flashed before her eyes.

She felt her neck getting held as Natala shifted his spear, ready to cut her head off.

Chelsea cried as she wanted to do so much, she remembered Night Raid. For all the things she said. She even said that Izuku would likely die with the attitude that he had, oh how wrong she was.

She wanted to impress them, but also for some strange reason, she wanted to impress the greenette as well.

She felt the rain, like that day, where she got her first kill. It was raining but this rain wasn't for her enemies it was for her. As if her funeral was already prepared. Dying in a field of flowers with the rain dropping in her.

She slowly closed her eyes, awaiting the death that was coming for her.

Natala swung down his spear but a bright green electricity came crashing down on him as he was sent flying and crashing into a tree, but the force was so strong that he was sent through multiple trees as trail dust was left behind.

Kurome caught up to see Natala completely knocked out cold. She was shocked to see him out for the count. Doya tried to shoot but the green figure sped up to her with blinding speed as he kicked her hard as she was sent flying, leaving another trail.

She zoomed past Kurome as the latter could only look shocked.

A green mask with a visor that appeared to have a smile on it and a scarf around his neck, he carried Chelsea as Black Whip was wrapped around her waist.

Chelsea opened her eyes to see green emerald eyes as she slightly widened them.

"Izu…ku…?"

"Don't worry, I won't let you die… not on my watch,"

The green electricity around him danced ferociously as he stared down at Kurome.

"You won't hurt them any longer…"
