2 years passed and our attention is upon the fishing town in a port named Hargeon.
Within the town of fishermen, its citizens are seen walking around to either go fishing at the docks where many fishing boats can be found, shopping at the fish market, eating at pubs and bars, or just doing anything that is in their daily schedule.
In a random yet small store that sells magic items. There are racks filled with magic tools and a blonde girl is checking them around.
"you're kidding, right!?" the blonde cried out as she turns towards the store owner with wide and shocked eyes. "This the only magic store in this town?!"
"Yes." The store owner replied while nodding as he motions a hand to his wares. "beause fishing is more prosperous than magic in this town. Only 10% of the citizens use magic here."
This girl's name is Lucy Heartfillia and she is looking very frustrated and tired after hearing how the store is the only place that sells magic in Hargeon.
"well, this is a town by the sea…" Lucy said as she sighs tiredly before she continues to look around the store's wares. "Ahh! I guess I came here for nothing."
"please don't say that!" said the store owner with an apologetic smile. "if you check more carefully, you might find something you like! I guarantee it!"
"hmmm, I guess there's no harm checking twice…" Lucy said as she browse the items sold in the store before she made a surprised noise and smiled when she finds a wooden case with a silver key placed within it. "this is!" she picks up the item and showed it to the owner. "This the white puppy, White Doggy! it's a Celestial Spirit Key!"
"ah, a Celestial spirit Key, huh?" said the store owner as he crosses his arms and cups his chin with his right hand. "but are you sure you want that, Missy? a Silver Key isn't that special at all, you know?"
"it's fine! I do Celestial Spirit Magic so its common sense for celestial mage to collect celestial keys!" Lucy said with a happy smile to the key with sparkling eyes. She then slides towards the store owner with the silver key in her hands and asked "So, how much does it cost?"
"20000 jewels" the store owner replied while holding up two fingers.
Lucy went silent for a moment before she and the store owner look creepily at each other.
"how-much-does-it-cost?" Lucy asked all sweetly.
"like I said, 20000 jewels." The owner replied, knowing that there is going to be a request for a discount from the blonde. The old man not wanting to lose a possible good profit.
at an area in Hargeon, Lucy is seen walking on the road with her heels stomping on the brick road, her expression grumpy and frustrated.
"I can't believe that guy only gave me a 1000 jewel discount for my sex appeal!" Lucy said with her face fuming, but in the end, she got her key in her hands at the cost of 19000 of her savings. "What a rip-off!"
As Lucy turns a corner on the road and soon hears some girls fan screaming from somewhere nearby.
"Kyaaaa! It's the Salamander!" "he's in this town?!" "he's here!" the fangirl screams rang out as many girls came running around the street.
"Salamander?" Lucy hears the girls, and she turns to a large crowd of them going gaga at someone. "wait a minute, isn't Salamander…?" the blonde soon gasps and she imagines Fairy Tail symbol in her head. "Salamander of Fairy Tail?! That crazily awesome mage from Fairy Tail!? He's here!?"
Lucy was about to go and run to the crowd, but didn't because she hears a plea for help from a nearby alley.
"huh? That was?" Lucy turns to the sound as she went to the alley and then gawks in shock to find a woman who is nearly naked because she only has a torn and ragged black towel covering her waist and not her bare chest, she is also looking very drunk. "eeeehhh!? The heck is this?!"
At a hotel somewhere nearby.
In one of the many occupied rooms on the third floor, there is Lucy who is carrying a set of clothes in her hands. The blonde goes to her bathroom where the sound of a shower is can be heard.
"I'll leave clothes by the sink, okay?" Lucy told her guest as she went and slipped in the set of clothes in the bathroom before leaving.
"thanks! You're a lifesaver!" the guest replied as she is the drunk woman that Lucy brought back to her hotel. "man! I thought I was a goner back there! Thanks a lot for saving me in time!"
"yes, you're welcome," Lucy replied as she went and sat by her bed. The blonde sighing. "what am I doing?"
First Lucy tried to buy a Celestial Spirit Key at a low price and that failed, she heard of a famous wizard from Fairy Tail coming to Hargeon and planned for the idea of getting into the guild but instead she meets a drunk woman that she helped by giving her a shower and a set of her clothes.
Lucy is now reading the magazine of Weekly Sorcerer which talks about all the famous topics of wizards and magic in the world.
"I miss my chance…" Lucy whispers with a frown as she is reading a biography of some famous wizards in Fairy Tail. "and here I thought I get a chance to meet a famous wizard from Fairy Tail."
Lucy spends the time reading the magazine while her guest in the bathroom had finished cleaning herself.
"aaahh~! A nice bath sure makes the day better~!" the occupant of the bathroom steps out as she is revealed to be Cana who is wearing the same attire as Lucy but her blouse has its top unbuttoned to slightly showing her assets, her towel hanging around her neck while being covered in some of her still wet brown hair. The card mage dries her hair up before sighing and then smiling at Lucy. "thanks for letting me use your bath! I had no idea how long i was even out in the alley!"
"that's good to hear but why were you even there in the first place?" Lucy asks with a slightly confused and concerned face to her guest.
"well…." Cana spoke as she looks up with a finger to her chin, the card mage making an imagination bubble of a chibi her. "first I got a job to do some monster fish extermination somewhere in the ocean, I finish it up and got back to Hargeon where I had a party with some local folks at a bar, I drank and I drank till I couldn't drink nor walk straight anymore." The chibi Cana did as the Card Mage explained in her story. "then I played a game of strip poker with some girls as I just win and win while also stripping for no reason. Afterward, I left buck naked but I got a towel from some random house and then I fell asleep."
"What is with that story?" Lucy asks while sweatdropping.
"anyway, I really got to thank you cause I felt like I was going to die of cold and a major hangover!" Cana said with a grin as she went and sat beside Lucy. "as thanks, I will do your fortune for free!"
"do my fortune? Are you a fortune teller or something?" Lucy asks while blinking her eyes in confusion.
"kinda." Cana replied as she raise her right hand and flicks it once to reveal a card that appears in her grasp; the card is a tarot card that shows 'The World' on it front side. "I'm a Card Mage who utilize these cards of mine to do fortune and prediction as I'm very good at it to the point that I got a lot of paying customers to come and do their fortune." the brunette flips and flicks the card in her grasp as it magically doubles, triples, and just increases its number and in just a few seconds; a whole deck appears in her right palm. She then begins to shuffle the cards very fast and skillfully. "by the way, I don't think we know each other yet." A card was flipped and held up while showing the name Cana and a chibi image of her. "the name's Cana."
"Lucy." The blonde replied in greeting as she watches Cana do her fortune with her cards that she flips and shuffles very fast. "you're good."
"I get that a lot from everyone when I do my fortune." Cana replies as she flips a card to the top before shuffling them even and then proceeds to spread them out towards Lucy. "here, I want you to take 3 cards from this hand of mine."
Lucy looks Cana and then at the cards as she began picking out 3 cards carefully.
"show me who they are," Cana replied as she decks the cards that disappears when she flicks them in her right hand. The card mage checks the cards that Lucy picks out as she checks them out. "hmmm. This is interesting."
"what is?" Lucy asks as Cana picks her cards up and showed what cards they are.
"first is that you picked the World Card in the upright position, this means that you will encounter success or accomplishments of your dreams." Cana explained as she shows the first card that shows a maiden who stands before the planet, she then shows the next card that shows a picture of a lion that roars. "next is the Strength card in the upright position as well, this means that you will have courage, persuasion, and patience. Lastly…" she looks at the last card and shows the blonde a picture of a woman wielding a wand that has its tip ignited in fire. "it is the Magician Card in the upright position. This means that there will be a number of beginnings and opportunities to come to you as you stand with a bond growing between you and your comrades." The card mage flicks her hands and the three cards combined into one showing a picture of a maiden wielding a sword while charging against an army with people by her side. "these three combine and you will get the Saint of War card. This would mean that when you encounter one whose fate intertwines with yours, your journey of happiness will begin."
"wow.." Lucy looks a bit amazed as she had just picked random cards that have very strong and deep meanings. "I will get a journey of happiness when I encounter someone?"
"yeah." Cana nods as she checks the card. "your lucky items are keys, your best color is pink and yellow, and the encounter is set to someone related to the fire of life." She then looks at Lucy. "its rare for someone to be able to pick these three cards as they represent very good influences."
"keys, pink and yellow…" Lucy spoke as she quickly writes her lucky items and color on a notepad before looking a bit confused at Cana. "but what does the fire mean? Do I need to be close to the fire to get my journey started?"
"not exactly." Cana shakes her hand while flicking her right hand once and a card with the word FIRE and a picture of the element appear in between her fingers. "fire can represent a lot of things. Life, destruction, and even a strong will. In your case, the encounter of fire in your fortune telling is that you would encounter a man of strong standing in his will of an emotion." She flips the card and it disappeared in her grasp. "meaning that it could be an encounter of a future friend who may or may not be a possible lover of yours."
"l-l-lover!?" Lucy squeals in shock.
"well it is a possibility which is a one in a million." Cana replies while crossing her arms under her chest. "my predictions are usually spot on for finding fortune and stuff but for things like this; they can't be so clear." She soon sighs. "the hangover must be going on with it."
"how does that have anything to relate with fortune telling?" Lucy asks.
Before the two could continue to converse even more, they hear a racket outside as it sounds like girls just screaming in gaga about something.
"what's that?" Cana asks while Lucy goes to the window of her room and checks to see a huge crowd of girls gathered around a single person in the middle.
"looks like a crowd of fan girls." Lucy replied as she checks the group before she gasps. "ah! right! Salamander!"
"Salamander?" Cana spoke as she sees Lucy quickly taking her purse and checking her things.
"one of Fairy Tail's strongest and famous wizard!" Lucy exclaimed. "I heard that he came to Hargeon just a few moments ago! I wanted to go and check him out, but I found you and then it leads to this but!" she went and quickly runs out of her hotel room. "sorry! I need to go and meet him!"
Cana looks at the door swung open before she gets off the bed and checks the window to see the fan girls screaming over a man calling himself Salamander.
"another one, huh?" Cana spoke as she looks a bit angry.
Lucy went out of her hotel as she sees the big crowd of fang girls and soon spotted a single blue haired man who has a tattoo on top of the right side of his forehead, wears ornate clothing with metal accessories.
"Salamander~!" the fan girls squeals as they are all in love with the man, even Lucy whose heart is beating fast to see the man. The man did a pose before he winked at the fan girls who all squealed even more.
'what's going on?! What's going on?! My heart is beating so fast, but why?!' Lucy screamed in her head as she unconsciously moves towards the man 'could this be!? Love at first sight!? My encounter with fire'
The man called Salamander chuckled before he hears something from above. He looks up and gawks to see Cana coming down on him.
"oraaah!" Cana shouted as she instantly did a dropkick on Salamander's face and sends the man face first to the concrete road.
in her actions, Lucy along with all the fan girls' heart eyes shatters and they all begin to look confused.
"eh? What just?" Lucy said as she looks confused at herself and then to the Salamander who is twitching while having his face planted to the cracked concrete road. "what?" she then looks at Cana who claps her hands while looking very pissed. "Cana?"
"when I heard that it was Salamander that the girls were going gaga at, I was pissed." Cana spoke as she glares angrily at the man she just kicked. He was getting up and rubbing a hand to his face. "hey! Who the hell do you think you are!?"
"w-wha?" the man looks at Cana before he quickly reforms himself and did a cool pose while winking once. "i-I am Fairy Tail's Salamander! The great Fire Dragon Slayer! Haven't you hear of m- guaaah!" he gets a kick to the gut by the card mage who looks more pissed than before. "ow! Why you do that for!?"
"you think I'm stupid or something?" Cana asks as she waves a hand around the area before pointing at herself with her thumb. "these girls don't know but you think you can fool an S-class mage like me?"
"S-class?" Lucy spoke out before she made a surprised gasp when she sees Cana pulling up her blouse and revealing the Fairy Tail mark on the left side of her waist. "that mark is!"
"I'm one of Fairy Tail's S-Class Mage, Cana Alberona Dragneel." Cana spoke out as she glares at the man before her. "I know every member of my guild and I've never seen you before!"
"C-Cana Alberona Dragneel!?" the Salamander named Man stuttered in shock. "y-you're t-t-that Fairy Tail's Card Seer!?"
"and I'm also the wife of the real Salamander!" Cana exclaimed as she pulls out several cards from out of nowhere and each showing the word FIRE. "I hate doing lots of annoying stuffs, but anyone who messes with one of my guild members' names and impersonates them. I fricking hate them!" her eyes glows angrily while magic power raises around the Card Mage's body. "especially if they impersonate my husband and do bad deeds with his name!"
"iiiihhhh!" the Salamander named man screams in fear as he started to run to make a getaway.
"ah! he's running away!" Lucy exclaimed before seeing Cana chasing after him. "Cana!"
"scared that you're facing a real Fairy Tail Mage!?" the Card Mage shouted as she raises the Fire magic cards in her grasps that ignites in flames before she throws them away. "Triple Fire Card! Dragon Breath!" The flaming cards flew before they burn and formed the head of a flaming dragon that spewed out a large fireball at the fleeing man.
"gyaaaahh!" he screams as the phoenix caught up to him and instantly engulfs him in a big explosion.
"w-what magic!" Lucy cries out as she with many other girls who are screaming, just watch how big and powerful the explosions that was unleashed from Cana's thrown cards. "are magic cards supposed to be that powerful!?"
Cana huffs as she looks at the Salamander Man who is now on the ground, smoked and twitching.
"try this shit of using Fairy Tail's name and I'll be the least of your problems," Cana spoke while spitting at the man once before she turns with a huff and walks away.
Meanwhile somewhere a few hundred miles away from Hargeon.
The sound of metal galloping against the dirt is heard as a horse rider comes and went to a hill then up to its top. That horse rider is Natsu who looks more mature than two years ago.
After 2 years, the salmon haired mage who now wears a one long sleeved opened vest, blueish white baggy pants, black sandals, his usual scarf, and wears a necklace with a fairy tail pendant along with a golden wedding ring on his left ring finger.
Natsu rides Catastoras as he takes out a pair of binoculars and checks the town to see a huge amount of smoke coming from somewhere.
"looks like either someone pissed Cana off or there's a fight that had happened at the town." Natsu spoke before putting away his binoculars.
"I believe that it might be the first opinion," Catastoras spoke before neighing a bit.
"probably." Natsu replied. "let's go and get her, Catastoras."
Catastoras nods before he begins to run on the land and heads straight for Hargeon.
the time passes at Hargeon as it is almost time for the night to come. The sun is setting off the horizon and turns the sky orange.
At a bar in the town, there is Cana with Lucy who seems a bit nervous.
"what's wrong?" Cana asks while holding up a big mug of beer in her right hand's grasp. the Card Mage not wearing Lucy's spare clothes as she is now wearing a pair of red bikini with flame like pattern, a black opened short jacket, long brownish jeans as the left side is long while the right side is short and revealing the dragon mark tattoo on her thigh. In addition she has a leather belt with a dragon head shaped belt buckle, a golden wedding ring on her left ring finger, a blackish red deck holder strapped to the calf of her right leg's thigh, and black high heels.
"w-well…I thought you were just a random drunkard but it turns out you're a Fairy Tail Wizard who is famous and all, so…." Lucy trailed off with a meek look on his face before she suddenly bows to Cana. "I'm sorry! I never knew you were a Fairy Tail Wizard caused I only read much on Fairy Tail but not too much on its members in the Weekly Sorcerer and!"
"it's fine." Cana replied while waving a hand carefree before she takes a big gulp of her beer and burps a bit in satisfaction. The card mage smiling to the blonde. "me and my husband never cared too much on our fame and stuff, so we tend to get treated that way many times." She then held the mug near her lips. "we got used to it, that's all."
"i-I see…" Lucy spoke.
The two chatter together as Lucy asks some questions about Cana and Fairy Tail but also about the fake Salamander person.
"I know he's a fake from two things." Cana replied while holding up her left hand and stretching out two fingers. "first, I know that my husband never spread much about his title and fame so much. Second…" she imagines the fake Salamander person but more to his right hand that has a pair of two rings. "he wore magic rings as one was the Charm magic item."
"Charm? As in that illegal hypnotic magic item that was banned a year ago?" Lucy spoke out, familiar with the magic item. "I thought that they were all confiscated and destroyed by the Council."
"that's what everyone thinks." Cana replied while twirling her mug of beer that she emptied in another big gulp before calling the bartender for a refill. "but if you know your way in the black magic market, you can get any magic item alike with it."
"I see…" Lucy spoke before she sighs in relief. "now that I processed everything, I feel lucky that you came in time for the save."
"just doing what I do for my guild and homeland." Cana replied as she watches her mug get refilled by the bartender. "but I do it mostly to make sure that my husband doesn't get framed by the bastard." She held up the mug and smiles a bit. "he's been busy with so many things that I got to ease his load a bit."
Lucy hums a bit while smiling as she can tell that Cana adores and loves her husband who she wants to support and care for.
"ah, now that I think about it…" Cana spoke as she looks at Lucy. "I heard you wanting to join Fairy Tail. You want to join my guild, right?"
"e-eh!? Well, I am and i…." Lucy replied before looking timid and began to look sheepish. "I do but..i'm afraid that I won't fit in too well."
"what are you saying?" Cana asks while raising an eyebrow towards Lucy. "anyone can join Fairy Tail, you know?"
"but just because you say that.." Lucy spoke as she looks at Cana who points a finger at her chest. "eh?"
"listen, to anyone who is a mage. They can join Fairy Tail if they want as there is no need for things like hesitant or anything." Cana stated as she pulled her hand back and forms a hard fist that she pounds to her chest once. "all you need is that wish you turn into a strong and determined will! If you got that Strong will, you will be able to join Fairy Tail with no problem! I guarantee it!"
Lucy looks at Cana who place a hand to her right shoulder and rubs it once.
"I just met you a few hours ago, Lucy. but I can tell that you're someone who will be a great mage when you join Fairy Tail." Cana spoke with an assuring smile. "and it's not just because I did my fortune telling on you." She raise and points a finger directly at Lucy's face. "but you got that look in your eyes that shows you have a hidden and strong determination inside that is just wanting to go out. that's a potential that can grow in Fairy Tail." She grins a bit cheekily and slaps the blonde's shoulder a few times. "just come and join my guild, Lucy! It's one heck of a fun place, you know!?"
"Cana…" Lucy muttered as Cana grins before she takes her mug of beer and gulps its content in one big gulp.
In just a split second, Cana drops her head to the bar as she is instantly knocked out.
"Cana? Eh? Cana!?" Lucy looks at Cana and sees her asleep with a smiling yet drunk looking face. "after all of that talk, you went and slept in an instant!?"
Lucy begins to try and wake Cana up, not knowing a large group of people are coming into the bar.
"looks like even a Fairy Tail Mage can handle her liquor." A voice spoke as Lucy turns and looks in surprise because the fake Salamander man appears, he has some bandages around his face, but he has a smug look upon the two females who are surrounded by thugs. "all that talk about not impersonating her husband sure went down the drain with such a pathetic state."
"w-what are you all?" Lucy spoke before the thugs begin to close in on her. "wha?!"
In just a minute, Lucy and Cana were tied up and getting carried away.
"w-what are you doing?! Let me go!" Lucy screams as she struggles against her bindings.
"Bora-san, should we load these two with the others?" a random thug asks the Salamander man who instantly hits his head. "ow!"
"don't call me by my name! I'm still using Salamander's name, remember!?" the guy replied angrily before he sighs tiredly and then smirks. "well, it doesn't matter anymore. We got this town's women all rounded up."
True to his words, there are many thugs coming out from everywhere in Hargeon as they are carrying tied up women and sacks filled with precious items.
"what are you all think you're doing with this many women!?" Lucy shouted as she struggles but soon gets gagged with a piece of clothing by the man now named Bora.
"you're all going to get sold away at Bosco as new and fresh slaves." Bora replied with a grin. "those slave merchants just love women after all."
'what?!' Lucy thought in shock before she quickly notices one of Bora's rings that has the picture of the crescent moon. 'that ring is… Sleep! That must've been the thing that caused Cana to fall asleep!' she glances around and sees that the tied women are all looking to be asleep with peaceful face. 'everyone here is in the same state! He must've used that magic on them! That's why!'
"load them up to the ship!" Bora exclaimed. "we need to get to Bosco before the Royal Army comes!"
The thugs who are Bora's underlings went to the port as there is a large ship docked by.
They started to prep everything for their departure, but their ship suddenly exploded into flames.
"w-what the!?" Bora exclaimed. "what happened!?"
"B-Bora-san! look at there!" one random thug shouted as he points to the top of the burning ship where there is the silhouette of a figure appearing. "there's someone on the ship!"
Lucy along with many others look at the burning ship and to their surprise they see Natsu appearing while riding on Catastoras; both basked in the flames that just burns around them.
"who the heck is that!?" Bora exclaimed while Lucy looks wide eyes.
'a pink haired mage who rides a mechanical horse and uses fire as his magic..' Lucy looks at Natsu and instantly remembers seeing his face from a photo that Cana once showed to her at the bar. The photo showing the card mage smiling happily with the young man. 'he's the real Salamander!"
Natsu rides Catastoras as the stallion neighs before jumping off the burning ship and let it sink into the ocean. They landed to the port and face Bora and his thugs.
"Seems that this is an elaborate scheme by this people." Catastoras spoke to Natsu who gets off and face the group head on.
"hey, what do you think you're doing with my wife?" Natsu calls out as he begins to crack his knuckles slowly while showing a very angered face when he saw Cana tied up and unconscious. "what did you to my wife, huh? You drugged her? your knocked her out?"
"B-Boss if this guy is really Salamander…" a thug cried out while looking scared with a few other.
"don't get scared!" Bora exclaimed as he points a finger at Natsu. "even if he is an S-class mage, there's no way he can beat us all! put the goods down, prep your weapons, and take him out!"
All of Bora's thugs dropped their captives and items then prep their weapons as they begin to surround Natsu and Catastoras before going on the attack.
Natsu sees them coming as he raises his right fist and grips it hard to the point his knuckles pops a few times.
BANG! KA POW! BANG!
In mere seconds, Natsu decommissions all the thugs with his bare fists as they were all knocked out with purple bruises and knocked out teeth.
"w-what the heck!?" Bora screams while Lucy looks in surprise.
'he took them out that easily!?' Lucy looks at Natsu who begins walking towards Bora. 'I know he's a famous and strong mage from Fairy Tail, but to see that he is this strong up close!'
"hey, answer me." Natsu growls out as he grasps his right hand into a fist several times. "what did you do to my wife? Did you drug her? knock her out?" his eyes slowly glows red and turns reptilian while flames begins to rage around his body. "if I find just a cut or a bruise on her body…." The flames burst and exploded before it grew and forms the burning silhouette of a large dragon. "I'LL SHOW YOU HELL!"
"iiiih!" Bora screams like a girl before he swings his hands forward to create a large magic circle that appears. "P-Prominence Whip!"
Bora unleashes rains of purplish flames at Natsu who just growls angrily while the attack came and just gets burns with his fire.
"m-my fire got burned by his own fire!?" Bora screams in shock. "how is that even possible!?"
"I heard of someone pretending to be me and using my name for bad stuff." Natsu growls angrily at he approaches Bora while his flames begin to rage more stronger. "so it was you, right?" he lifts his face which is showing pure anger and rage. "I don't give a damn about you using my name and fame for yourself, but there's one thing I won't allow you to do with it."
Bora shakes in fear as he tried to run away, but Natsu went and grabs him by the collar then glares directly into the man's shaking eyes.
"ANYONE WHO DARE USE MY NAME TO HURT OTHERS! ESPECIALLY MY WIFE AND FAMILY!" Natsu roars out angrily as the flaming dragon behind him roars very loudly. "I WON'T FORGIVE THEM NO MATTER WHAT!"
"I'M SO SORRY~!" Bora screams in tears as Natsu pulls back his right fist and all his fire gathers around while focusing upon the outstretched limb.
"Karyu no!" Natsu growls as he swings the fist straight at Bora who screams and gets sent flying in a flaming explosion. "Tekken!"
Lucy looks wide eyes as Bora is flying in the air before falling in a big splash to the ocean far away.
Natsu growls as he huffs and blows out steam from his mouth before he turns and looks at Lucy and Cana.
A few hours later.
At a worn down road a few miles away from Hargeon. There is Natsu riding on Catastoras who is pulling on a cart that has Lucy and Cana on board.
"are we really running away from the town?" Lucy asks with an awkward smile while hugging a suitcase in her hands.
After Natsu decimated Bora's group with his fire that destroyed some parts of the town's port, the Fiore Royal Guard came and arrested the criminals, but the Fairy Tail Wizard got his wife and also Lucy to make a run for it cause the Council of Fiore hates problematic wizards like them when they make trouble.
"well, the Council hates Wizards and we're wizards. So…" Cana spoke as she had woken up from being drugged to sleep. The Card Mage raising her hands and shrugging her shoulders while having a carefree smile. "it'd be better if we just run~!"
"How is that any logic!?" Lucy exclaimed before she cries in tears. "is this really how a famous wizard of Fairy Tail really is!?" the blonde imagined strong and popular wizards in her head that gets shattered by the image of Cana and Natsu with a few other wizards who are just acting all carefree and goofy. "my dream is shattered so easily!"
"Sorry about that." Cana spoke to Lucy with a grin before she turns towards Natsu. "also, good timing on your arrival, Natsu." She flicks her right hand once and holds a magic card that made a bottle of wine appear in a puff of smoke. "Who knows what would've happened if you and Catastoras got there too late."
"you say that like you want things to go bad." Natsu stated as he turns to look a bit stern at his wife. "you really need to hold down your drinking habits, Cana."
"no way! Saying that I should stop drinking is like I should stop breathing!" Cana exclaimed as she hugs her bottle of wine in a protective hold. "there's no way in a million years would I ever stop drinking!"
Her words made Catastoras stop pulling the cart and this allowed Natsu to get off his stallion then jumps to the back.
His action surprising the two women as Natsu stares right at Cana.
"w-what?" Cana spoke before Natsu suddenly carries her up into his arms. "wha?!"
"you're riding with me." Natsu stated as he jumps back onto Catastoras' saddle. "I want a private talk with you."
Lucy looks at Natsu as the man pulls out a card from his pocket and throws it to the cart, imbedding it to the wooden structure that glows and the back cart now has a roof and doors while covered in a black tarp.
After separating the cart into two areas, Catastoras began to pull and walk again.
"just what you plan, Natsu?" Cana asks as she looks a bit nervous to her husband who glance at her before he suddenly lunges in and takes her lips for a very big and deep kiss. "mmgh!?"
Natsu and Cana shares their kiss as the card mage was a bit surprised at first before she melts and returns the action.
After a minute, both separated and Natsu looks at his wife with a frown.
"do you have any idea how worried I was when I saw you knocked out?" Natsu asks Cana. "do you have any idea how it felt when I heard those guys were taking you to Bosco and make you into slaves?" he tightens his hold on his wife. "do you have any idea how angry I would beat myself if me and Catastoras arrived too late?"
Cana looks at Natsu a bit surprised at first before she frowns a bit sadly and looks down.
"I'm sorry…I was just caught off guard…" Cana whispers. "I won't let it happen again."
"you won't ever let that happen cause I'm going to be with you on every job you go." Natsu spoke out a bit sternly as he looks to the front. "I don't want to ever see you hurt. Not a single scratch can be on you." He turns and smiles a bit. "I'm sure Conny won't like to see her Mama hurt, right?"
Cana made a small noise as she looks up at Natsu before smiling and nods.
"yeah, I know." Cana replied with a nod before she leans close to her husband's chest. "by the way, who is taking care of her right now? Mira? Lisanna?"
"both." Natsu said as he held Cana close. "I was worried after you didn't come back from your job a day later."
"just how much of a protective dragon daddy are you?" Cana asks a bit amused. "do you have to be so protective over me and Conny?"
"I have to be because I love the both of you and our family so much." Natsu replied as he looks down before pecking Cana's head. "can't I do so?"
Cana sighs and snuggles closer while smiling.
"just do it more often when we're back home and alone in our room." Cana replied while tracing a finger around her husband's chest. "and when we have a special holiday together."
"you got it." Natsu said with a small grin.
While the two are conversing, Lucy who is inside the cart just looks deadpanned while blushing.
'I can't see you guys talking, but I can still hear you…' Lucy thought as she is very embarrassed to hear such a stern yet loving scolding from the husband and wife.
Catastoras neighs once before the stallion continues to pull the cart and heads off somewhere up the road.
