A few days later at the town of Magnolia.

Natsu's group can be seen coming upon the road as they had arrived in the town after a few days of travel from Hargeon to Magnolia.

"welcome to Magnolia, Lucy." Cana stated with a smile while holding up a bottle of beer. "The home sweet home of Fairy Tail."

"so this is Magnolia~!" Lucy said all amazed at her surroundings. The blonde looking side to side to the unfamiliar sight that is present before her with a big smile. "so amazing!"

"the place is big and everyone in the town is nice." Natsu said as he grins to Lucy. "you'll fit right in, Lucy."

The blonde nods before she saw something that made her awe in amazement.

"here we are!" Natsu said as Catastoras stops because they have arrived to the front entrance of Fairy Tail. "me and Cana's beloved guild; Fairy Tail!"

"so this is Fairy Tail!" Lucy said all excited. "I read in the Weekly Sorcerer that it is big and all but seeing it in person just gives it a new vibe!"

After settling down a bit, Natsu along with Cana, Lucy and Catastoras enters the guild as they were given the sight of the guild being filled with people drinking, laughing, and just partying like crazy.

"hey! We're back!" Natsu shouted out loud as he got the attention of some people in the guild who greeted him a 'welcome back/home!'.

"hey! How's our usual lovebirds going!?" Macao calls out as he is with Wakaba at their usual seat together. "was Cana getting into trouble like she always does when she's drunk!?"

"you have no idea." Natsu grins before getting slapped on the back of the head by Cana who is blushing in embarrassment. "ow!" he rubs his head and looks at his wife. "what!? that was what happened right!?"

"don't agree or say it out loud!" Cana exclaimed angrily. "don't you know that I would be embarrassed about it!?"

"hahahahaha! It's the usual lover spat between the two!" Wakaba grins with a laugh as he is joined by a few other guild members nearby.

"come on, Cana. Do you have any idea how Natsu reacted after you were late a day after you told him that you finished your job and was heading back?" Max called out as he is passing by. "he literally went all commando to get to you, you know?"

"you really got to be more mature for Conny-chan, right?" Macao added in.

Cana huffs at the group before she looks away and begins walking to the bar while looking red.

"hurry and go to her, Natsu." Wakaba told Natsu with a grin. "she might try to get drunk to forget about this."

"you think I don't know?" Natsu asks as he quickly goes after Cana while Lucy and Catastoras follows.

"welcome back, Cana" the barmaid spoke as she is Mirajane Strauss. The She-Devil of Fairy Tail who seems the same as she was young only difference is that her clothes look like a punk goth girl. She leans forward and grins at the card mage. "I heard you made some trouble at Hargeon with Natsu."

"most of the damage was caused by Natsu, just so you know." Cana stated while taking a nearby corked wine bottle and was going to open and drink its content when Natsu came and grabs it. the Salamander shakes his finger side to side and that made her huff. "let me drink!"

"welcome back, Natsu." Mira greeted the man with a grin as Natsu nods to her before he gives her the bottle of wine and sat beside Cana.

"no bar wine for today." Natsu stated as he takes out a magic card that has the picture of a bottle filled with purple liquid. "only Lychee wine juice."

Cana clicks her tongue in annoyance as she looks away while Natsu flips the card once and a bottle filled with purple liquid appears in his grasp in a puff of smoke.

"you really got to low down your drinking habits, Cana." Mira told Cana as she takes a big glass and gave it to Natsu who pours the bottle's liquid into it. "don't you remember that you're still on an alcohol diet?"

"you try satisfying your cravings with knockoff drinks!" Cana exclaimed angrily while holding the glass of purple juice given to her by Natsu. The card mage took a big chug and soon sighs in satisfaction, she looks at the glass in her hand with a confused face before turning towards her husband. "why does this taste different than the usual?"

"I bought a new brand that gives the same taste and sensation like real alcohol when you went on your last job." Natsu replied while raising an eyebrow. "you were always complaining that the knock off drinks I got for you last year tasted so bad that you wanted to puke, right?" he takes out a small deck of cards that has the picture of a bottle filled with purple juice. "here, I bought you a new brand that tastes better. I got at least 50 of them from the market."

Cana blushes as Natsu gives her the deck of cards before giving her a peck on the forehead.

Mira sends a teasing grin to Cana who looks away from her. the Majin continues to grin before she notices Lucy with Catastoras.

"you are?" Mira asks while looking at Lucy. "a new recruit?"

"y-you're M-M-Mirajane Strauss! The famous wizard of the Weekly Sorcerer's Gravure model!" Lucy exclaimed while in complete shock as she imagines a magazine that shows Mira posing in bikini and other sexy outfits. "I can't believe I'm meeting you!"

"um?" Mira looks a bit weirded at Lucy who went all fan girl. "t-thanks?"

"her name is Lucy." Natsu spoke out as he is holding Cana close while the Card mage is drinking. "me and Cana met her at Hargeon. She's a Celestial Spirit Wizard who wants to join the guild."

"n-nice to meet you!" Lucy exclaimed as she bows her head towards Mira. "my name is Lucy Heartphillia! I wish to join Fairy Tail!"

"I see" Mira said before she grins while nodding. "welcome aboard! we always welcome new members to the guild!"

"thank you so much!" Lucy thanked Mira while several head bows.

"Natsu!" Gray's voice is heard as Natsu turns and looks annoyed at the Ice Maker Wizard who is still a stripper after 2 years. "it's about time you got back!"

"yeah." Natsu said as he gets off his seat while placing Cana back to her own seat. The man cracked his knuckles while grinning. "I just got back and ready to pummel your ass, Gray!"

Natsu and Gray started to get close before both began to brawl that escalated with many people in the guild joining.

"w-what is going on!?" Lucy cried out while hiding behind the bar.

"it's the usual old fight at the guild." Mira replies with a grin. "you'll get used to it."

"are you for real!?" Lucy exclaimed with her eyes popping towards Mira who looks so calm.

Every single person in the guild keeps on fighting with each other in a big brawl that cause the building to comically shake and jiggles from the outside view, but it soon came to a stop when someone came downstairs with the sound of an infant's cry.

"that sound?" Natsu who was in the middle of choke hold with Gray, heard the cries as he turns towards the sound.

"everyone! Can you please stop!?" a distressed voice is heard from the second floor's stairs as there came Lisanna, Mira's younger sister who grown up to be a teen wearing a simple and plain white shirt and black shorts. The young white haired teen looking distressed because she is carrying a blueish white blanket wrapped crying baby girl who has tannish skin and brownish hair. "your racket just made Conny wake up from her afternoon nap!"

"ah! Conny!" Natsu cries out as he throws away Gray and quickly goes towards Lisanna with Cana following.

"Mwama~! Bwabwa~!" the little girl cries out as she reaches out her little hands to Cana who quickly takes the child into her arms. "Mwamwa~!"

in the two years that passed after Natsu and Cana first began to love each other, both had gone out together while also being with each other for certain moments. One would be when the Fire Dragon Slayer went out of his ways to help his future wife to become an S-class Mage in the S-class trials, he followed suit a year later. But after that first year of Cana becoming an S-class mage, both tied the knot and got married before having a daughter named Cornelia Alberona Dragneel who is given the nickname Conny.

"all of you! Shut up!" Natsu shouted angrily while Cana is calming down their daughter. The Fire Dragon Slayer looking angry. "you made Conny wake up from her nap and she is now crying! Apologize!"

"you're the one who begin the fight!" Gray exclaimed before getting a powerful kick to the face by Natsu. "aggh!"

"Apologize!" Natsu growls as his body ignites in flames.

"we're sorry!" the guild apologizes in unison as it is a usual sight for them to see on Natsu who gets angry whenever his daughter cries over something. The quickest way to sooth him would just to apologize and that is what they are doing.

"Mwama.." Conny cooed out to Cana who held her close while giving a comforting kiss to the child's forehead.

A few moments later, things settled down at the guild.

By the bar, Mira has placed a stamp on the back of Lucy's right hand that soon has a pink Fairy Tail Symbol when pulled away.

"With this, you're an official member of the guild, Lucy." Mira said with a smile.

"aaahh~!" Lucy looks at the mark with a big smile as she begin to cheer. "yes~! Yes~! I'm a Fairy Tail Wizard now!"

"good for you, Lucy." Lisanna told the blonde as she is near Natsu and Cana, the card mage holding Conny who she is bottle feeding her milk.

"yup~!" Lucy said before she squeals in shock when she felt someone groping her butt from behind. "iyaaa~!" she turns and slaps whoever is behind her but there is no one. "who is there!?"

"hohohohoho~! Nice~!" a perverted voice spoke out as Lucy turns and looks down to see that she is met with Makarov. "a very nice body~!"

"finished your work already, Master?" Mira said to Makarov who waved a hand in greeting before he hops to the bar.

"Master!?" Lucy said as she looks in surprise towards the small old man. "you mean…he's Fairy Tail 3rd Master, Makarov Dreyar!?"

"the one and only." Makarov said with a grin. "you must be the new member that I have been hearing from upstairs. Lucy, right?"

"y-yes!" Lucy replied while bowing. "pleasure to meet you, and please take care of me!"

"welcome to Fairy Tail." Makarov said with a smile.

"Mwama~!" Conny cries out, the little girl finished her bottle of milk and is now reaching her little hands towards Cana who sighs with a smile. "Mamwa~!"

"Mama is here, Conny." Cana said as she cradles the little girl and pecked her forehead. "Mama is here with Papa."

"that's right, Conny." Natsu grins as he held the little girl's little hand and shakes it a few times. "Papa is home for you and Mama, Conny."

The little girl giggles with a big smile to her parents as this little happy family atmosphere is being watched by Lucy and the others. the blonde looking a bit confused and surprised at the same time.

"the little girl's name is Cornelia Alberona Dragneel or Conny-chan for short." Lisanna told Lucy, knowing why she is confused and surprised. "she's almost a year old and she is Cana and Natsu's beloved baby girl."

"I heard from news that Natsu and Cana gotten married nearly a year ago" Lucy said as she looks completely surprised "but to think that they have a child together…."

"look, Conny~!" Natsu said as he carried his little girl and motions a finger towards Lucy. "that there is Lucy, she's a new member of the guild. Say hello~!"

Cornelia looks confused at her father before to Lucy who looks a bit awkward, but she soon smiles that got the same reaction to be returned by the little girl.

Meeting the little girl, Lucy began to have a little bonding time with her and her parents as she gets to learn that she was named after Cana's deceased mother and is very energetic like her father.

At the moment, Lucy carried Cornelia as she lifts her up and down in getting her to giggle and squeal in delight while Natsu is walking away with Cana.

"I sure hope you got the right present for her, Natsu." Cana said as Natsu walks to a nearby closet door that leads to the next door storage room. "this is Conny's 1st birthday after all."

"I know, Cana." Natsu replied with a smile as he went in and comes back out with a wrapped up pink present box along with a plastic case that has a white and red birthday cake. "if it's for my little girl, I made sure that it's the best present."

Cana looks at her husband and sighs with a smile before nodding.

"Conny~!" Natsu playfully called out to his little girl as Lucy and the others turn to see him coming with Cana while holding up the birthday cake with a candle lighted. "happy birthday, my little dragon girl!"

"oh, today is Conny-chan's birthday?" Lucy asked Mira who nodded with a smile.

"make a wish, sweetheart." Cana said as she carried Cornelia from Lucy and held her near the cake. "blow the candle and make a wish for your birthday."

Conny looks at her mother before to the cake as she began to blow raspberries in trying to put out the candle.

"seems that she still need a lot of learning to do." Makarov said with a chuckle as Natsu grits his teeth once to make the fire on the candle blow away.

"there we go!" Natsu said as he grins before he gets a small knife from Mira and uses it to cut a small piece of the cake then gently feeds it to his daughter. "open wide! Here comes the dragon!"

Cornelia opens her mouth and eats the cake fed by her father as she smiles to how sweet it tasted.

"yummy?" Cana asks Cornelia who just waves a hand towards the cake as if asking for more that made her mother giggle. "I guess so."

"here comes another dragon!" Natsu said as he cut another piece and then feeds it to Cornelia yet again.

After the birthday cake, it is time for the presents.

"here is our special girl's special little present!" Natsu said as he held the present towards Cornelia who sat on Cana's lap, the mother sitting by the bar and having a smile to her husband and daughter. "does Conny knows what is inside~!?"

Cornelia looks very curious as Natsu began to open the present of its lid and reveals a scarf that is matching with his own.

"Conny gets her own scarf!" Natsu said as he takes out the scarf from the present and then gently wraps it around his daughter's neck. "so she can be like Papa!"

Conny smiles and giggles as she begins to nibble on the scarf with a smile.

"seems that she loves it." Cana said as she giggles to see how Cornelia is just drooling up her present. "very much."

"see? I told you I got her the best birthday present." Natsu said while Catastoras is moving behind in the background.

"even though it took you nearly 4 hours to decide the present." The mechanical stallion spoke as his words caused Natsu to snap at him with a glare.

"shut up!" Natsu shouted at his steed.

"hey! Is it our turn yet!?" Gray called out as he along with a few other guild members came while carrying wrapped up presents like dolls, toys, and anything for a one year old girl. "we got our presents that are awaiting to be opened, you know!?"

The celebration for Conny's birthday goes on as everyone goes on their turn to give a present to the little girl who gets surrounded with dolls, toys, and candies.

"happy birthday, Conny-chan." Mira said as she gives a white bunny doll to Cornelia who giggles while hugging it.

"for the last present that is from me!" Makarov said as he goes up next and then held up an orange cat onesies that has a red Fairy Tail symbol at front. "I give to our little Conny-chan a special one of a kind Fairy Tail onesies! It stretches as she grows and has a nice soft texture that'll make her go asleep anywhere!"

"don't tell me that was what you were making for the past few weeks, Gramps?" Natsu said with a small smirking smile to Makarov who skillfully gets Cornelia to wear the onesies.

"yup! And it was hard work!" Makarov said as he cries while holding up his shaking hands that has bandaged fingers. "in all my life, I painfully made that onesies from scratch! But it was all for our little adorable Conny-chan!" he then spins and waves a hand towards Cornelia who wears the onesies and hugs her new rabbit doll. "behold! Just how adorable she is!"

"awww~!" the girls in the guild awed as Cornelia looks incredibly cute as a cat.

"Mamwa~" Cornelia cooed out to Cana who giggles and picks her child up into her arms. the little girl leans close to her mother and smiles while closing her eyes.

"seems that it's true on the soft part.." Cana said as she stroked and caresses Cornelia's back, her child slowly falling asleep. "she is getting drowsy already."

"seems so." Natsu said with a grin as he gently pokes Cornellia's baby cheeks and gets her daughter to whimper a bit. "our little sleepyhead gets so sleepy so easily."

"hey, stop that!" Cana scolded Natsu by pulling on his right ear. "you know how she hates getting waken up from her nap!"

"owowowoow! I'm sorry~!" Natsu apologizes while Cana huffs and let go of his ear.

Lucy chuckles a bit awkwardly to see who is more dominant in the marriage between the two.

Time passes in the day as Lucy gets to know members of the guild while introducing herself to them one by one.

Day soon became night as there is time for the guild to be closed.

"hey, Lucy. You already got a place in mind for your stay in Magnolia?" Mira asks while cleaning up the bar with Lisanna.

"ah…" Lucy made a shocked face while carrying Cornelia who she is just playing with.

"we'll take that as a no." Lisanna said as she passes by Mira from behind.

"if you don't got a place to stay for the night, how about you crash at our place?" Cana said to Lucy while coming and taking Cornelia back into her arms. the little girl giggling in glee to her mother who smiles. "I'm sure our little Conny here would love it."

"are you sure?" Lucy asks

"just come and hit the hay with us!" Natsu said with a grin. "you'll like the place!"

"i-if you insist…" Lucy spoke.

A few minutes later, Lucy looks tired as she is following Natsu and Cana in front.

"do you guys live in the woods?" Lucy asks as she followed the two and they lead her straight to the western forest of Magnolia.

"we do." Cana replied while smiling to Cornelia who is playing around with her hair. "but we plan to move into the town when the time is right."

"come on, Cana. There's no better place for home than here." Natsu told his wife.

The two goes forward as Lucy followed behind before she gasps with her jaws dropping.

Right upon where there supposed to be Natsu's house that looks rundown and old years back, no longer exists because there is a large mansion like house standing to where it is now. The building looks to have 3-4 floors, looks luxurious, and very vast like.

"t-this is your house!?" Lucy exclaimed in shock.

"you think we live in a cabin or something?" Natsu told Lucy while opening the mansion's front door for Cana and Cornelia to come in first.

"come on, Lucy." Cana said to the blonde as she and her baby girl goes into the house first. "we'll show you to your room."

Lucy took a moment to process her mind before she quickly scrambles and follows.

The interior of the mansion is as luxurious as the outside. the furnishing, the walls, even the windows look grand.

'I know that they are S-class mages and all, but to think that they are S-class mages and are filthy rich!' Lucy gawks to see how everything looks so amazing.

"come on, Lucy. Your room is waiting on ya." Natsu called out to Lucy while Cana went to a living room with her daughter, the room filled with safe children toys.

"y-yes!" Lucy quickly goes to Natsu who leads her to a bedroom that has a private bathroom, cupboard, and everything. "w-wow~!"

"the kitchen is just down the hall, you hungry or thirsty you can go and get what you want." Natsu said as he directed to where the kitchen is. "We got lots of food in the reserve so you don't need to hold back."

"r-right, but you sure?" Lucy asks. "I mean I am new here and all."

"a member of Fairy Tail whether they are new or old is a good friend to us!" Natsu said with a grin. "and if Conny likes you then that means you're okay with me!"

"that's your logic on people?" Lucy sweatdrops.

As they were conversing, a blue cat wearing a green sack bag and has white wings came flying by.

"Welcome home, Natsu~!" the cat greeted Natsu who grinned.

"yo, Happy! I'm home!" Natsu replied.

"A FLYING AND TALKING CAT~?!" Lucy screams in shock. "WHY IS THERE A FLYING AND TALKING CAT!?"

"hey, Lucy. Keep it down. I'm trying to get Conny to fall asleep." Cana called out while passing by, the Card Mage carrying her daughter and going up stairs.

"s-sorry." Lucy apologizes before looking a bit weary at the flying cat. "W-Why is there a flying blue cat in your house?"

"ah, he's name is Happy." Natsu replied while motioning to the flying cat whose wings disappeared and now sits on his shoulder. "I got no idea on how he can talk and have wings but he's a good friend." He crosses his arms. "I met him on a quest to stop some animal smugglers a year ago, he was caught in a cage and didn't got anywhere to go." He then grins at his feline friend who grins back. "so I got him to join the family!"

"Aye~!" Happy replied with a grin.

"i-is that so?" Lucy said while sweatdropping.

"I'm Happy! Nice to meet you!" Happy greeted Lucy while extending out a paw to her.

"L-Lucy, nice to meet you too." Lucy replied while reaching out and shaking Happy's paw.

"if you got any questions about the place at night, you can ring up on Happy here." Natsu said with a smile. "he's like a nanny cat for Conny when me and Cana are away."

"aye! Conny's safety is my priority!" Happy said with a nod.

"Natsu~! Hurry up and get up here~! You know how Conny gets fussy when she doesn't see you with her!" Cana called out to Natsu from upstairs.

"coming~!" Natsu hollered to the side before looking back at Lucy. "so, good night and see ya tomorrow, Lucy."

"good night." Lucy nods.

Natsu goes up stairs while Happy stays with Lucy.

"just to give you an advice on a good sleep for tonight, Lucy." Happy said before pointing to a bed table near the cupboard. "there's some ear plugs there for you to use, okay?"

"o-okay?" Lucy replied confused as to why she would need ear plugs. "thanks?"

"Aye. Good night." Happy said before he sprouted out his wings and then flew to a room nearby.

"Wonder why I needed ear plugs for?" Lucy said all confused before she closed the door.

After a few minutes of taking a quick warm bath, brushing her teeth, and doing her hair, Lucy wears her pajamas and gets on the bed with the lights out.

"ahhh….they got to tell me where to get a nice and comfy bed like this one…" Lucy said with a sigh.

As Lucy is slowly falling asleep, she soon hears some noises from upstairs.

"huh?" Lucy looked up and could hear nothing even though she swore that she heard something. She shrugs and close her eyes. "must've been my imagination."

Going back to sleep, the sound return as it was creaking in a tempo of some sort.

"what is that noise?" Lucy sat up and looks to the ceiling, now hearing it growing louder.

"HARDER~! HARDER, NATSU~!" Cana's moaning scream is heard as Lucy's mind takes a few moments to realize why the card mage is moaning out a scream and why is there a creaking noise.

"EEEHhhh~!? At this time of the night~?!" Lucy gawks in shock while her face went red, her imagination going wild in hearing the noise.

As her mind thinks on what was going on, in a bedroom upstairs and on a large bed there is Natsu humping on Cana who has her arms and legs locked around him.

"GO DRAGON ON ME! GO DRAGON ON ME!" Cana gasps loudly as the creaking noise from the bed just grows louder each time the Fire Dragon Slayer goes in harder on his wife.

'What does go Dragon even mean~!?' Lucy's mind started to imagine what Natsu and Cana are doing but before it could go any further, she quickly slaps her head hard. 'Don't think about it, me~!' she shakes her head furiously before using her pillow to close her ears. 'how can those two think of doing that when they have Conny-chan with them!?'

Unbeknownst to her, Conny is sleeping in a crib at a separate room across from Natsu and Cana's room. The little girl sleeping all peacefully as she couldn't hear what her parents are doing because her room is made soundproof from the outside.

The creaking noise just goes harder and louder as Lucy was sure that she won't be able to sleep because of it.

"how can anyone sleep like this?" Lucy asks while covering her head with her pillow, but then she remembered Happy telling her about the earplugs which made her realize what they are really for. "that's right!"

Lucy went and found the earplug in the drawer of the bed table as she plugged them in her ear and then hears no sound whatsoever.

"much better." Lucy sighs in relief as she goes back to bed before she looks rather awkward. "even though I can't hear it, I can't stop trying to imagine it…." She shakes her head before focusing on her sleep and focusing on not focusing on what Natsu and Cana are doing upstairs.
