A few days later at Fairy Tail.

The guild is peaceful and jolly as possible, many of the guild members are just going around with their day that would be either eating, drinking, and partying as much as they want.

At the bar, there is Lucy who is making funny faces to Conny who she is currently still babysitting while Natsu and Cana are currently away on a quick job request. Happy is also with her, but the blue cat is just eating some raw fish.

"upsy daisy~! Upsy daisy~!" Lucy playfully cheered as she sits by the bar while playing with Cornelia who is all giggles and laughter. "so high~!"

Lucy continues playing with Cornelia who giggles and squeals all joyfully.

"seems that you two are having so much fun in the morning" Mira greeted Lucy as she came behind the bar while putting away a purse under the counter. "good morning, Lucy, Happy, Conny-chan"

"morning, Mira-san" Lucy greeted the bar maid with Happy doing an "Aye!" before going back to eating his fish. The blonde mage went and puffed her cheeks to make a funny face for Cornelia who laughs even more. "It's puffy Lucy~!"

"I don't know if I should encourage you or tell you to stop making that face, Lucy." Mira said with a giggle to see how Lucy makes Cornelia laugh and squeal. "it's unbecoming for a woman like you."

"aye, she looks like an angry puffer fish." Happy added in.

"it's fine." Lucy said as she sticks out her tongue and wiggles it a few times, Cornelia still laughing all jolly from seeing it. "for little Conny here, it's just alright."

"I guess so." Mira giggles even more as she sees Lucy puffs her cheeks and made her face look like a puffer fish that made Cornelia and a few other nearby guild members laugh instantly.

After some time passes, Cornelia is now fast asleep as she leans against Lucy's shoulder while having her back patted a few times. The child sleeps while her blonde babysitter is chatting with the guild's barmaid.

"So how's your new place been for you?" Mira asks while cleaning up a dirty glass mug.

"pretty good." Lucy said while gently patting Conny's back and then caressing it. "I got a pretty spacious room that has the accommodation of a bathroom, kitchen, and a fireplace. All for a simple 7000 jewel fee per month."

"ain't that just nice." Mira said while placing away the cleaned mug and then repeat the action with another one. "Natsu and Cana's place couldn't do for you?"

"well the bedroom and the other stuff are good.." Lucy spoke before she sweatdrops when she remembers a time on a few days ago when she was sleeping in the Dragneel's guest bedroom while wearing bigger earplugs because of the constant creaking and moaning plus screaming noises that came from upstairs. "but I can't say the same for the sounds at a certain time."

"sorry to hear that." Mira chuckles a bit. "many of us in the guild once stayed at Natsu and Cana's place for a night or two during a sleepover and we couldn't sleep well because of those lovebirds." She shrugs her shoulders while having a small smile. "I heard them saying that they couldn't help it because they wanted to have more kids so that Conny could grow up with siblings."

"aye, they said that they wanted many kids." Happy added in while having an imagination bubble appear and showing chibi images of Natsu and Cana along with Cornelia and many babies. "enough to make a soccer team."

"i-is that right?" Lucy sweatdrops to see the content of the imagination bubble.

As the two are conversing, Gray passes by while only wearing a pair of jeans.

"hey, Mira. Any news on when the old man will come back?" Gray asked.

"nope, and you should wear some clothes around Conny, Gray." Mira replied while pointing at the Ice mage's lack of clothing.

"ah!? where did it go!?" Gray ran off to find his clothes.

"Master left town?" Lucy spoke out, not bothered by Gray's lack of clothes because of her focused on babysitting Cornelia in her arms. "where he go?"

"He went to Clover town for the regular Guild Master meeting" Mira replied while picking up a wet glass cup that she dries up with a white towel. "it's a meeting where all Guild Masters of the region gather to exchange information."

"so they go there to talk on some stuff, huh?" Lucy said. "kinda like the Council."

"not exactly." Mira replied before she turns and waves a hand up. "Reedus!"

"oui?" a guild member by the name of Reedus replied as he turns towards Mira.

"can I borrow your Light Pen?" Mira asked as Reedus nodded before taking out the said item from his pocket.

Mirajane began to draw the organizational chart of the mage world with the Light Pen that made glowing drawings appear in the air.

"The one's in charge of the magic world are the ten members of the council, who also have ties to the government." Mira begins to explain as she gestures to the drawn diagram. "Their job is to maintain order in the world of magic. If a mage breaks the law, they also have the authority to pass judgement." she then points to the floating words of GUILD MASTERS. "And beneath them are the guild master league, where the guild masters gather. They distribute the decrees of the council. Maintenance communication between guilds of the same region and keep us united."

"so the guilds are connected like that…." Lucy commented with a bit of an amazed face. "the Council sure makes things peaceful by having this meeting, huh?"

"that's obvious because It is important to maintain cooperation between guilds." Mira said while holding a hand and a finger pointed up. "if it's neglected, the Dark Guilds will come."

"Dark Guilds?" Lucy muttered out a bit in confusion as Mira points to a diagram that has the words 'DARK GUILD' in it.

"they are guilds that aren't part of the league and they are called Dark Guilds." Mira said with a serious face. "They don't follow the rules and they don't care of what they do. They are often engaged in illegal activities."

"aye, and if you get caught being a member. It's goodbye for you!" Happy said while throwing the bones of the fish that he ate clean.

"dark guilds, huh?" Lucy said while thinking of the bad things that one dark guild can commit. As she was thinking, she hears whimpering from Cornelia who seems to be having a bad dream. "ah, there there~! It's okay~!" She begins to stroke the little girl's back to ease her tension. "no more bad dreams for Conny-chan~! No more bad dreams~"

"if Conny cries from a bad dream, it usually means that she is going to poo and need a diaper change." Happy said while pointing at the baby girl.

"really?" Lucy asks before she smells something rancid that made her blue. "it happened…"

Lucy begins changing Cornelia's diaper with Mira's help while Happy backed away and continued eating more fish, the blue cat not wanting to change the stinky diaper.

"man, I wonder when will Natsu and Cana come back?" Lucy said as she carries Cornelia back into her arms, the baby now with a fresh diaper. "they said that they will be gone for two days, right?"

"they'll be back before you know it." Mira said while throwing away the used diaper. "those two tend to go off for some time and comes back at the earliest of time. It's the usual thing."

"yeah, it's always like this when they got a job or a lead." Happy said before she throws away another fish bone.

"I wonder if they can be good parents to Conny-chan if they always go out like that…" Lucy sweatdrops for a moment before she hears yawning and cute babble from Cornelia who wakes up from her nap and is looking drowsy.

"had a nice nap?" Lucy asked Cornelia who smiles and babbles.

Time passes by as everyone in the guild goes on with what they wanted to do in the day.

Lucy continues babysitting Cornelia who she watches over, the little girl playing around with the bunny doll she got for her birthday, she nibbles and drools the doll's head.

As everyone are doing all peacefully in the day, Jet and Droy came barging to the front door all panicking.

"guys! Bad news!" the two cried out. "it's Erza! Erza is back!"

Their cries made many of the guild members go white and petrified as stone.

"Erza?" Lucy spoke out while carrying Cornelia and placing her on her lap. She then turns to look at Mira. "Who is that?"

"Erza Scarlet, one of Fairy Tail's S Class Mage and one of the strongest female wizard." Mira said while looking a bit angry for some reason. She then turns and walks to the back door. "got to go and do something real quick."

"eh? Where?" Lucy asks in confusion.

"better not to ask when Mira looks rather foul, Lucy." Happy told the blonde who made a confused noise.

Everyone soon heard heavy and loud footsteps coming from the door as there appeared a shadow of something large coming.

"that's Erza's footsteps." "Erza's coming back." "I thought she be gone for another week!" everyone chattered and gossiped amongst each other as they all look to the opened front door.

"with this kind of a reaction, this Erza must be a very amazing wizard." Lucy said in surprise while Cornelia is just playing around with her bunny doll on the blonde's lap.

"Aye, she's the most strongest and the most scariest female wizard of Fairy Tail." Happy spoke out with a paw raised before he shrugs his shoulders. "well, aside from Mira that is."

In just a minute, a shadow appears and reveals itself to belong to Erza Scarlet who entered the Guild while carrying a large horn that is decorated with jewels and other ornaments.

"I'm back. Where is the Master?" Erza said before she sets down the large horn to the floor, making a small tremor to shake the floor.

"t-that's Erza!?" Lucy said in surprise.

"Welcome back" Lisanna greeted Erza before everyone else "Master is at the Regular meeting in Clover Town."

"I see." Erza said while nodding.

"Umm Erza-san, what is that huge thing?" Max asked while pointing at the large horn beside Erza.

"Oh this." Erza said as she turns and placed a palm on the horn "The local townspeople decorated the horn of a monster I had defeated. They gave it to me a souvenir." She looks back at Max. "Will it be a nuisance here?"

"Not at all!" Max replied while frantically waving his hands around.

"She is quite different from what I read in the magazines." Lucy whispers while looking at Erza.

"All of you!" Erza suddenly exclaimed as she glared draggers at the mages, making them sweat nervously. "I heard some rumors during my absence. About how Fairy Tail keeps causing problems. Master might forgive you, but I will not!"

"Vijeeter! take the dancing outside!" "Wakaba! you're dropping ashes everywhere!" "Nab! stop staring at the request board and pick up a damn job already!" Erza pointed out at everyone's behavior before sighing and pinched the bridge of her nose before saying "Geez you're all so troublesome. Anyway, I won't say anything today."

"She said quite a lot already" Lucy said with a sweatdrop while Cornelia begins to babble towards Erza.

"ewa~! Ewa~!" Cornelia babbles while waving her little hand towards Erza who heard her.

Erza turns and sees Cornelia before at Lucy who tenses up because the Scarlet Knight approaches her.

"you are?" Erza asked while raising an eyebrow.

"i-I'm Lucy! I'm a new member of the guild who joined about a few weeks back!" Lucy replied quickly before doing a head bow. "Pleased to meet you!"

Erza looks suspicious for a moment before Happy explained things to her.

It took about 2 minutes for Erza to hear the full story as she nodded a few times and then smiles to Lucy.

"I see." Erza said as she soon held out her right hand to Lucy. "Erza Scarlet and it's a pleasure to meet you, Lucy."

"y-yes! Likewise!" Lucy shakes Erza's hand before looking to Cornelia who is trying to reach for the scarlet knight.

Erza looks at Cornelia and smiles all happily as she slowly picks her up from Lucy's lap.

"hi, Conny. I'm home~!" Erza greeted the little girl all cheerfully as she lifts her up and down many times, making Cornelia smile and giggles in delight. "I heard that you're now one year old! You're becoming a big girl! A very big girl!" she begins to tickle the baby who laughs. "coochie coochie coo~! Coochie coochie~!"

Lucy sweatdrops as she sees Erza who was the strict person who came into the guild and is now a very marshmallow like happy person when she goes into contact with Cornelia.

"u-uh? What's happening?" Lucy asks all bewildered.

"Erza becomes like this when she is with Conny." Happy explained while seeing how Erza rubs her nose with Cornelia's little nose, the little girl squeals in joy.

"it's late, but…" Erza carries Cornelia with one arm before she holds up her other hand for a lollipop to appear in her grasp. "ta~da~! A sweet strawberry and cheese flavor lollipop for Conny~! This is Erza-neechan's birthday present for Conny~!"

Cornelia's eyes sparkle to see the piece of sweet as she reaches a hand for it.

Erza gave the lollipop to Cornelia who begins sucking and drooling on it while looking all happy which made the scarlet knight happy in return.

After a minute of Erza fawning over Cornelia, the scarlet knight passes the child back to Lucy and coughs into a raised fist before turning around to face the guild's members.

"alrighty then." Erza coughs into her fist one more time before looking around. "is Gray here?"

"here!" Gray appeared magically near Erza while doing a salute. "what is it, Erza?!"

"I need your help" Erza said to Gray before looking around the area once again then turns towards the ice mage. "where's Natsu?"

"he and Cana are currently on a job." Lisanna replied. "they said that it'll take them two weeks or so to get back."

"that's unfortunate to hear." Erza replies while cupping her chin and having a hard look at the floor. "I need Natsu's help for the most part of this job I have, but I also need Cana's help"

"you called?" Cana's voice called out as she along with Natsu and Catastoras came walking in. "we're back."

"welcome back." Lisanna greeted them. "looks like you're back on time as you said."

"I guess so." Natsu grins before he sees Erza and waves with a smile, "oh, Erza! You're back! welcome home!"

"yeah." Erza nods with a smile. "Both of you left on a normal job or on a lead?"

"both." Cana replies as she went pass Erza and to the bar where she sighs tiredly. "we finished the job earlier and had to spend a day by a desert." She shakes her head then turns while smiling to Cornelia who babbles to her mother while still sucking and drooling on her lollipop. "what we found wasn't Igneel." She picks up her daughter and cuddles her with love and joy. "but another dragon's remains."

"we sold it to archeologists and got paid big bucks." Natsu added in with a grin while holding up a check with 100 million jewels written on it. "we got loaded for an entire year!"

"I see." Erza nods with a smile before she looks serious. "coming back to my words before, I need your help, Natsu." She then looks at Gray. "and Gray as well."

"me too?" Gray asked while pointing at himself all confused.

Everyone in the guild started to look surprised as many begins to gossip around.

"What's going on?!" "This is the first time Erza needed help!" "Erza needs Gray and Natsu's help?" "Those three in a team?!" "I wonder what's going on?"

"I overheard some troubling things, while I was on my mission. Normally I would consult the master about something this. But this is an urgent matter." Erza explain, putting her hands on her hips. "I need you both to lend me your strength. You'll help me, right?"

"like you need to ask?" Natsu replied with a grin as he went and budged his right hand's knuckle to Erza's shoulder. "Fairy Tail is all about Family and if one family member needs help, it's obvious for the others to help, right?"

"he got that right." Gray said while crossing his arms before looking curious. "but still, that's something rare even for you, Erza. Did something happen? what's the problem?"

"it is better to speak when we are on our way to Magnolia Station" Erza said while nodding. "this problem of mine might concern the fate of all Fiore." She then looks at Cana. "but before we depart, I need Cana to do some fortune telling for me."

"that's rare, even for you." Cana said as Erza and Natsu came to her. the card mage passes her daughter to her husband and then takes out a deck of cards from the deck holder on her right hip. "but considering all things, this problem of yours might be something problematic if you're asking for a fortune telling from me."

"what's going on?" Lucy asks, confused.

"Erza is someone who doesn't believe too much in the fortune telling and anything alike with it. she always think on logic and rationality." Happy explained as he and Lucy watches Cana shuffles the deck of cards and then spreads them out to Erza who picks three cards from it. "but she sometimes asks for a fortune telling from Cana whenever it is something very important that she might not be able to complete on her own. Basically saying, it must be a very serious problem."

Cana looks at the three cards that Erza had just picked, the card mage having a rather complicated look on each one.

"What is it?" Erza asks.

"I don't know what problem you got, Erza." Cana said as she looks at the cards before to the Scarlet Knight. "but I know that if it is left unchecked, there's death coming for many."

This got the attention from nearby guild members who made some chatter.

"Tell me what you see." Erza said as Cana reveals the three cards to be Tarot cards of the Death, the Devil, and the Judgement.

"Death, Devil, and Judgement. This screams bad luck or instant life or death matters." Cana said as she checks the cards once again. "The Death and the Devil have been rather connected in life but the Judgement isn't. from what I can tell from these cards is that the situation of many people's lives will be depending on your actions in the future. Just that."

"that's one ominous fortune telling." Gray said. "you sure that deck of yours were shuffled correct?"

"I shuffled as freely as possible and never mix it up too much." Cana said in a very serious voice. "And whichever card was chosen, it was depending on fate."

"I see.." Erza nodded in understanding. "thank you for the fortune telling, Cana." She then turns to look at Natsu and Gray. "both of you heard her. this situation is that of life and death therefore a serious matter."

"we got it." Natsu and Gray nodded in unison as Erza nods back in reply to their action.

Everyone started chattering once again in confusion and surprise while Lucy just look at the trio in confusion.

"what's going on now?" Lucy asks.

"in Fairy Tail history, those three never made a team beforehand." Lisanna said while coming near Lucy. "This might be the most powerful team that has ever been created."

"Cana." Natsu went to his wife while passing back their daughter to her.

"just make sure to come back home quick, alright?" Cana told Natsu with a smile. "and while you're at it, buy some local drink from some towns." She turns her attention to Cornelia who is getting drowsy while still drooling on her lollipop. "along with some new clothes for our little sleepy girl here."

"and fish too!" Happy added in. "get a lot of fish, okay?!"

"hahaha, got'cha!" Natsu said with a grin before he turns towards Catastoras. "let's go and get ready, partner."

"as you command." Catastoras neighs in reply while shaking his head once.

Two hours later. Natsu, Gray, Erza, and Lucy are now on a moving train as they are heading off somewhere.

"so you came along, Lucy?" Natsu Lucy asked while sitting beside Erza.

"well…I am a starting mage and I need experience. So…" Lucy replied awkwardly while shrugging her shoulders. "I came?"

"well, that is something important for a rookie." Gray said with a nod before he looks at Erza. "that won't be a problem. Right, Erza?"

"it's fine." Erza nods with a smile. "The more the merrier." She soon turns serious. "or rather, I need all the help I can get after what Cana told us."

"yeah." Natsu said while crossing his arms. "but still, for you to pick those three cards. That's something new."

"eh? What do you mean?" Lucy asks all confused.

"I've been with Cana since we were kids, and she never got those cards picked whenever she does a prediction." Natsu said before shrugging her shoulders. "you could say that this is the first time I've seen it happen."

"same here." Gray nodded before he looks at Erza. "so, Erza. Care to tell on what problem you got?"

"yes." Erza nods before she close her eyes and crossed her arms. "over my travels, I heard a disturbing news about a dark guild called Eisenwald." She begins to imagine shadowed people by the banner of a grim reaper appears in the back of her mind. "They intend to cause trouble with some magic called Lullaby."

"Lullaby?" Gray said and Erza nodded in reply.

"It was on the way back on my last job. In the city of Onibus, I stopped at a bar where Mages gather..." Erza said, recalling where she heard of such information.

flashback

Erza sat by the bar as she drinks her beverage quietly before she heard some yelling from a nearby table.

"Hey! Where is my booze?!" a voice echoed through the bar and even people outside could hear it.

Erza turns and sees a group of four people seated by a table, the one who yelled seemed to have whiskers on his face. he had a great resemblance to a rat.

"Hey calm down!" one of his companion told him as he leaned back into his chair.

"How can I calm down?!" he shouted as he slammed his empty mug on the table, "We finally found where Lullaby is hidden, but that damn seal is an obstacle!"

"You talk too loud!" a hooded man shouted at him.

"No need to rush." a man with black hair said while standing up with a smile, "I will take care of the rest, you guys can return to the guild. Tell Erigor-san that I will be back with Lullaby in three days!"

flashback

"Eisenwald, huh?" Gray said with a serious face. "those guys who were chattering are from that guild?"

"Yes. I didn't realize it at first. Until i remembered the name Erigor, Eisenwald's ace." Erza replied while her eyes hardened like steal. "He is called 'the Grim Reaper' because he only accepts assassination requests."

"Grim Reaper?!" Lucy asked in panic as she began to sweat buckets.

"you're leaking" Gray said while pointing at Lucy.

"it's sweat!" Lucy said while looking scared.

"If I had remembered the name Erigor, I would have beaten up those mages so hard until they told me about their plans!" Erza said while clenching her armored fists.

"s-scary" Lucy said with a scared look.

"Eisenwald's main plan is to use Lullaby, huh?" Natsu said who rubs his chin. "if it's a dark guild, who knows what they plan to do."

"yes, that is why I need help." Erza said after nodding to Natsu and then looking at Gray. "I intend to stop them, but I don't think that I would be able to defeat an entire dark guild by myself, so I requested your strengths."

"like Natsu said before, you need help, you got it." Gray said with a smile after nodding.

"thanks." Erza nods with a smile

"um..I got a question." Lucy said while raising a hand. "what is Lullaby?"

"not a clue." Erza shakes her head before turning towards Natsu who shakes his head in reply. "I see."

"whatever this Lullaby thing is. If it's something bad for people, then we should focus on stopping Eisenwald from using it." Gray said as everyone nods in unison.

Moments later, the train hit a quick stop by another station where there more passengers getting on board while some were getting off.

Lucy and the others bought meals as they still had a long way before they reach Onibus station.

"By the way, what kind of magic do you use, Erza-san?" Lucy asked while holding a sandwich in hand.

"just Erza is fine" Erza replied while having a slice of strawberry cheesecake in hand. "and I use Requip Magic."

"requip?" Lucy said before Erza lifted her left hand up and a dagger appeared in her palm then disappeared. "wow!"

"it's basically a magic that stores weapons and calls them out from a pocket dimension" Erza explained her magic while waving her hand down. "it's very convenient."

"what about you, Gray?" Lucy asked as she looks at Gray who put his hands in a gesture, cold air coming out of his palm and on Gray's palm is an ice sculpture of Fairy Tail's symbol.

"wow!" Lucy said as Gray handed the ice sculpture to her.

"It's Ice Maker Magic" Gray said "I can mold my ice into anything that I can think of."

"oh!" Lucy said amazed before looking to Natsu who is munching on a piece of jerky in his mouth. "What about you, Natsu?"

"Fire Dragon Slayer Magic along with Card Magic and Requip." Natsu said as he held hand and snaps a finger to make a small ball of fire appear and fly around before dissipating. He then stretched out his palm for a deck of magic cards to appear. "I ain't that good with Requip like Erza, but I'm getting good with Card Magic thanks to Cana." He shuffles the cards once and threw it into the air, the objects floating and spins around before gathering back into a deck in the man's hand. "although, I mostly use card magic to store stuff."

"store stuff?" Lucy asks as Natsu takes a card and flips it to reveal an image of a bag that soon shines and a red bag appears upon the floor with a puff of white smoke. "what the!?"

"it's called Storage." Erza explained as the bag disappears back into Natsu's card that was blank and now it is not. "it's a type of Card Magic that is mostly used to ease carrying belongings." She then giggles a bit to the Dragon Slayer beside her. "Natsu only learned it after spending time with Cana and using it to store stuff needed for Conny."

"can't help it." Natsu shrugs his shoulders while putting the single card back to the deck that he shuffles. He then turns towards Erza "you have any idea how much stuff is needed to take care of a baby?" he then waves his hands out. "I mean a lot! Most of the stuff I had to buy were diapers!"

Everyone soon laughs together as Natsu made some jokes about how he had to spend an entire week getting the right diaper for his daughter.

"Natsu, you brought Catastoras with you, right?" Erza said after the jokes were over. "we might need his help if we need to pursue Erigor and his guild on a chase."

"I don't go anywhere with my partner, you know?" Natsu replied while holding up a card that has the image of Catastoras imprinted on it. he then sighs and looks disgusted at the train's ceiling. "ugh, just why couldn't I ride on him than ride on this train?"

"you dumbass, you know how long it would take for Catastoras to run from Magnolia to Onibus?" Gray said with a sneer. "you'll be late by a day for crying out loud!"

"what's wrong?" Lucy said to Gray and then turns towards Erza.

"Natsu has a problem with transportation." Erza replied and points to Natsu's bottom as the man is not seated down but floating. "his magic makes him weak to transportation and that's why he always picks the choice of riding on Catastoras than anything with wheels."

"really!?" Lucy said in shock before looking more shocked in realizing that Natsu is floating off his seat. "wait a minute! You're floating all this time!? How!?"

"a trade secret." Natsu replied while crossing his arms on his chest.

An hour later, the train arrived at Onibus station where Natsu and the others started getting off the train.

"Do you think those guys from Eisenwald are still in this city?" Gray asked Erza while the group heads off the station.

"I don't know. That's what we are going to find out." Erza replied as she dragged her large number of luggage that is on a cart.

"Why does she have so much luggage?" Lucy asks, the blonde shocked when she sees the amount of luggage the knight has before going on board.

"don't ask…." Gray replied.

The group went to a nearby counter as they needed information about Eisenwald's sightings.

"excuse me, have you see anyone with this symbol on them?" Erza asks the receptionist who she soon gives a paper with the Eisenwald's guild symbol. "it is a very important for me and my friends."

"hmmm. This symbol…" the receptionist checks the symbol and soon has a realization hitting upon her face. "ah! there was this one person who just bought a ticket for the train heading for the Kunugi Station!"

"Kunugi Station…" Erza spoke out before hearing a loud train whistle as everyone turns to see that the train that they were on is leaving.

"ah, there it goes." The receptionist said before getting surprised when Erza slams a hand to the counter. "iih?!"

"that train is heading for Kunugi Station?! That train!?" Erza exclaimed while pointing to the leaving train.

"y-yes!" the receptionist replied in fright while nodding rapidly.

"the train is leaving!" Gray exclaimed as everyone begins running to catch the train, but they were too late, it left the station.

"it left already!" Lucy gasps tiredly as everyone stops by the edge of the station.

"what do we do, Erza?" Gray asks Erza who gritted her teeth before she and the Ice Maker wizard were suddenly carried off the ground by Natsu. "h-hey!"

"what we're going to do!" Natsu exclaimed as he soon threw Gray and Erza into the air. "is to catch up to it!"

"Hey, Natsu! What are you?!" Lucy exclaimed before she screams when Natsu did the same to her.

Natsu looks at his friends who he threw as he flips his right hand to the side and now holds two magic cards that appear in his grasp.

"Carriage! Catastoras! Connect and REALIZE!" Natsu soon threw the cards into the air as they combined and creates a large green magic circle where Erza and the others fell towards to.

When the three fell into the magic circle, they came out riding in a carriage pulled by Catastoras who is running on the field and is soon ridden by Natsu who had flew in the air and come down.

"hey! Warn us next time!" Gray shouted at Natsu who ignored him.

"Catastoras! Catch up to that train!" Natsu commanded his steed who neighs loudly and started galloping.

The metal stallion rushes and chases after the train as it was getting closer to it by the passing second.

"more closer, Catastoras!" Erza calls out as she with Gray are getting ready to board the train.

"Lucy! Take the reins!" Natsu said while slowly standing on the top of Catastoras' saddle. The mechanical horse pulls the carriage more closer to the train's last caboose.

"me!?" Lucy cried out in shock before she was given the reins to Catastoras by Natsu.

"on 3!" Natsu said as he started to prepare himself for the jump. "1…2….3!"

Natsu with Erza and Gray instantly jumped as they got on the last caboose while nearly falling.

"Lucy! Stay there until we get back!" Erza calls out to Lucy while Natsu and Gray entered the train once again. The Dragon Slayer feeling fine because he is just floating and not standing on the moving transportation.

"for how long!?" Lucy cries as she has never driven a horse carriage before.

"just stay there and keep close!" Erza replied before following after Natsu and Gray.

within the train front caboose, a young black-haired man wearing a black shirt with a white jacket and jeans is seen walking in the train as he is Kageyama, a member of Eisenwald.

"arriving to the next station, and my job is done…" Kageyama said while holding a wooden flute with a weird looking skeleton design on top. He smirks darkly. "afterwards, our plan is a go."

"stop right there!" Erza comes into the scene with Gray and Natsu, the trio stopping Kageyama in his tracks. "you! You're a member of Eisenwald, aren't you!?"

"hah?" Kageyama turns and sends a mocking gaze at the Fairy Tail mages. "who is asking?"

"Erza, look at what he has in his jacket." Natsu said as he caught sight of the flute that Kageyama is holding and is trying to hide in his attire. "he got something. It might be this Lullaby thing."

"whatever it is, if it's in the hands of a dark guild; it can't be good." Gray stated as he got ready to use his magic.

"indeed." Erza said who soon wields a sword that appears in her grasp. "get down to the ground and don't try anything funny!"

"don't try anything funny?" Kageyama asks before he smirks and his shadow suddenly grew. "like this!?"

Before anyone could blink, the caboose that Natsu and the others are in, suddenly explodes without warning.

This was caught sight by Lucy who is driving Catastoras and the carriage.

"w-what was that!?" the blonde cried out in surprise.

In the caboose, it was nearly destroyed as Erza and the others are unharmed.

"What the heck did that guy do!?" Gray exclaimed while coughing a bit from the dust.

"it doesn't matter!" Erza stated as she looks around for Kageyama and sees him standing at door to the next caboose. "he's escaping!"

"bye bye…" Kageyama waves a hand in goodbye as he pulls the hook that connects the train's caboose.

"hey! Wait!" Gray shouted as everyone rushed to the front, but before they could even reach. The caboose that Kageyama is on started to get farther away while theirs is slowing down because of not having anything to pull it. "damnit!"

"move!" Natsu exclaimed as he runs back and soon jumps out while igniting his feet in fire, making them like rocket thrusters that propelled him straight to the caboose where Kageyama instantly runs inside to. The Dragon Slayer turns and looks at his comrades. "hurry up!"

"we can't! it's getting too far!" Erza shouted out because their caboose is losing speed. "Natsu! After him! we'll catch up!"

"got it!" Natsu nods as he soon goes after Kageyama.

"Erza! Lucy and Catastoras!" Gray said as the metal steed came into the scene while pulling on the carriage with Lucy.

"hurry and get on!" Lucy called out to her comrades as Catastoras runs faster while trying to catch up with the train.

Erza and Gray looked at each other and nods before both jumps and lands on the carriage. The metal stallion neighs as it runs faster in catching up to the front of the train.

At the front of the train, fire instantly sparks and explodes as Natsu chases and attacks Kageyama.

"come back here!" Natsu shouted as he sends fireballs towards Kageyama who blocks with a wall of shadow that arises from his own. "stop right there!"

"tch! Is that anyway to do so!?" Kageyama exclaimed as he summons shadows to surround him before all lung straight for Natsu who flips his hand and holds a card that he throws towards his foe's attack.

The thrown card has the glowing words of 'FLASH' that shines and cause a flashbang.

"a flash!?" Kageyama exclaimed as he closes his eyes while not knowing that Natsu runs through the light and straight at him.

"Karyu no!" Natsu shouted as he pulls back his left fist and ignites it in flames. "Tekken!"

Kageyama gets hit with the flaming punch as he was sent flying to the next caboose with a big crash.

The dark haired man grunts in pain after crashing as he gets up before seeing his flute had fallen out.

"crap!" Kageyama was about to get the flute, but Natsu appears and takes it from him. "ah!"

"a flute?" Natsu picks up the item and checks it. "The heck you have this for?"

"g-give that back!" Kageyama shouted as he summoned his shadow that takes form of hands that rises into the air.

"stop right there." Natsu said who ignites his right fist in flames and holds it near the flute. "you know what's going to happen, right?"

"ugh!?" Kageyama instantly stops his shadows from moving any further. "that's just playing dirty! Aren't you supposed to be a good mage or something!?"

"Takes one to know one." Natsu replied with a little grin while slowly closing the distance of his flaming fist near the skeleton flute. "Now then, if you don't want your flute to be charcoal. Get down on your knees and have your hands up."

"tch!" Kageyama clicks his tongue as he slowly goes down to one knee, complying with Natsu's demand.

"if you comply, I won't do anything bad and then…!?" Natsu was surprised by the sudden halt of the train as it caused everything to shift. "What the!?"

"chance!" Kageyama took the little moment of confusion as a chance to use his shadow magic to form a large fist that went straight for Natsu. "eat this!"

"gebuh!" Natsu got hit by the shadow fist in surprise as he got caught off guard in an instant.

BOOM!

The back of the caboose exploded and Natsu came flying out.

"Damnit!" Natsu tried to restabilize his position in the air with his flames igniting below his feet, but Kageyama didn't stop with just one attack. The shadow mage had summoned more shadow hands that grabs the Salamander's legs. "What the!?"

"Have a nice flight!" Kageyama shouted as his shadow hands begins to twirl Natsu around before proceeding to fling him far away.

"you pony tail bastard!" Natsu shouted as he is spinning in the air before he ignites his body in flames and then begins to hover with fire thrusters below his feet. He shakes his head and then looks down to see the train now moving once again. "damnit!" he looks at another direction and sees Erza and the others trying to catch up. "they won't reach it in time…"

Natsu clicks his tongue before he propels himself downwards, the Salamander flying straight down and catches up with the others.

"Natsu!" Erza called out to the salmon haired mage as she is on the passenger seat with Gray while Lucy still holds the reins on Catastoras. "do you have that flute!?"

"I couldn't get it!" Natsu replied as he gets on Catastoras' saddle and retake the steed's reins. "the train stopped and that bastard sucker punched me!"

"so what should we do now!?" Lucy asks. "the train is moving way faster than we are and!"

"we just keep on chasing it!" Natsu exclaimed as he looks very angry and pissed. "that Ahoyama or Bakayama or whatever his name is getting my fist for flinging me off the train!"

"we're supposed to be focus on stopping his guild!" Gray exclaimed but Natsu didn't listen.

"Catastoras! Full speed!" Natsu shouted while whipping the mechanical steed's reins once and then ignites himself in fire that gathered around the stallion's body before being absorbed to its lacrima crystal heart that flashes a red color.

Catastoras neighs loudly as fire begins to burn around its mouth, hoofs, mane, and tail. The metal steed now has fire around its body and its speed and strength slowly increases.

"hang on!" Natsu exclaimed as Catastoras started to gallop even faster.

"wow!" Lucy and the others hang on to themselves because the speed of the stallion made them feel pressured against the surface of whatever they are against at.

Catastoras keeps on running while pulling the cart as the metal stallion chases after the runaway train.

Meanwhile at Kunugi station, the train hit a stop as the passengers were forced off board by the members of Eisenwald.

"This station belongs to Eisenwald!" shouted the Grim Reaper Erigor, the leader of Eisenwald. "Get all the passengers off the train now! Resist and you die!"

Erigor and his Guild had hijacked the train as soon as it arrived at the station. They all got on board and met with Kageyama.

"Erigor-san.. " said Kageyama who got bruised up from his fight with Natsu that is one sided.

Erigor raised an eyebrow at his state and said in curiositty "What the hell happened?"

"It's nothing. More importantly, here." Said Kageyama before handing over to Erigor, the skull headed flute to him "I managed to break the seal somehow!"

Erigor took the flute from his hand and examined it. An evil smirk made it's way toward his face, "So this is the forbidden Lullaby, eh?" He grinned like madman, "Originaly this flute was nothing more than a tool used for deadly curses. But the great Black Wizard Zeref turned it into a demonic flute! All those who hear the melody played by this flute will die! This means... The mass death curse Magic, Lullaby!" he finished with a laugh. He then turned to his men and shouted, "Men! Let's begin the operation!"

"Right!" all of them shouted.
