X777, within the world of magic within the continent of Ishgar that is the sibling continent of Alakasita and Giltena on the Eastern location of the compass.

Upon the land is the kingdom of Fiore, one of the many nations alongside any other on Ishgar, it is called the Flower Blooming Capital for it has many beautiful flowers growing everywhere around its area. We turn our attention to the kingdom's castle; Mercurius where the royal Family of Fiore live within

It is in the middle of the night at the scene as the stars shines brightly in the dark sky above with the moon illuminating its radiant glow upon the kingdom. Whereas the kingdom's citizens were walking along the night street accompanied with light from the magic lamp posts nearby, within the kingdom however it is lighted with only greenish blue radiant lacrima lamps along the hallways of each area.

within a certain room that is located at a top floor of the castle, it is the bedroom for one of the kingdom's royalties, namely the princess: Hisui. E. Fiore.

The 4 year old green haired princess wears her greenish white nightdress while getting tucked into her bed by her father; Toma. E. Fiore, the current King of Fiore along with his trusted knight and Hisui's bodyguard: Arcadios.

"good night, Hisui" said Toma to his daughter while smiling.

"good night, father" Hisui replied to her father with a sad voice as she laid her head on her pillow before she turns to face her side and her back against her father who frowned a bit before smiling and nodded.

"have a nice dream, my child" said Toma before he started walking towards the door where Arcadios stands by and opens the door for the small king.

Exiting the bedroom, Toma took one glance at Hisui who sleeps in her turned position before he frowns a bit and leaves. Arcadios followed behind as he gently closes the door behind.

Hisui is now alone as she pulls the blanket over her face to cover it and the sound of whimpering sad wails started to come from her.

Toma and Arcadios walked in the hallway as they stopped when they heard a small wailing cry from Hisui's bedroom chamber.

"what am I going to do-kabo?" muttered Toma with a sad frown as he knew that it is his daughter who is crying, the young princess had been doing so for the past few days after the decease of Fiore's queen, her own mother.

Toma sighs before he looks to a nearby large painting of himself with a woman whose features looks similar to Hisui, only older as she is his deceased wife.

"Airi…..what should I do to cheer our daughter?" Toma asked the painting as he looks at his wife's painting with a sad tone. "what should I do?"

Toma looks at the painting for another moment before he looks down and frowns, his daughter has been sad after her mother's passing and he is trying his best to cheer her up.

"your majesty" Arcadios called out as the short king turns to look at the knight who did a bow before standing up straight "If I may, I would suggest that we hold a picnic at the forest near the kingdom that will might help the princess confront the loss of our queen"

"yes, you are right-kabo" replied Toma before he looks at the painting once more "She always loved picking flowers for you, Airi"

Toma smiles to the painting of his deceased wife before he started walking again with Arcadios following right beside him.

turning our attention back to Hisui, the young princess whimpers and cries on her bed as for a young child like her, losing her own only mother can leave a very big impact on herself.

"mother…" Hisui cried out as tears fall down her eyes. The young princess cried in the blanket's covered darkness before hearing a low howling roar coming from afar. Hisui opened her tearful eyes as she pulls down the blanket and sat up on her bed from hearing the sound.

Hisui looks around as she heard the howling roar again that is coming from her nearby window.

"what was that?" said Hisui as she got off her bed and then went to the window while climbing up a chair to get a better look at what was making the sound from before. she looks through the window and at the nearby forest that is a few kms away from the castle and close to the kingdom's borders.

Hisui squinted her eyes a bit before she saw something glowing in the forest from a distance as it is glowing red that caught her attention. The young girl tried to see closer on what she saw and got her answer as she sees something flying up the forest before falling back down in it.

"a bird?" Hisui thought out loud before she hears the low howling roar once again before it stopped.

"what is that sound?" Hisui asked herself before she continued to look at the forest for the thing that had flown and fell into the forest, but she didn't see it anymore. Therefore, she went back to bed, her mind filled with questions about what was in the forest from afar and then slowly fell asleep

a few days later, a carriage left the Crocus' borders as it is accompanied with several soldiers riding horses or marching beside carriage as they are protection soldiers to protect Toma and Hisui inside. The two are going out of the kingdom as Toma had planned to cheer his daughter up with a picnic as Arcadios suggested a few days before.

within the carriage, Hisui curiously looks at the forest as the carriage is out of the kingdom and now trailing through the path near the area. Toma looks at Hisui being so curious about the forest as he thought that she was excited to go there and that made him smile.

'this was the right decision-kabo' thought Toma with a nod as he believed the activity will cheer his daughter up while helping her to hold up the loss of her mother, yet he was wrong as Hisui is actually curious and excited in knowing what made the roar from a few nights that had also been occurring for the past few nights before.

Hisui curiously looks at the forest as she sees trees after trees before her eyes spotted something red and giant moving in the forest before it disappeared in the scenery.

"it's there!" thought Hisui as she squinted her eyes to look at the large red thing, but it was gone from her sight.

at an open area in the forest, the soldier guards surround the perimeter while the carriage stayed in the middle of the area. A picnic table was set up at the location as Toma sat by one of two chairs while a butler and several maids prepared an assortment of sandwiches, fruits, and desserts upon the table.

Hisui however is away from the picnic table as she is currently at a nearby white flower field where she looks at the beautiful nature flowers with Arcadios standing by as her bodyguard.

The young princess smiles to see the beautiful before she looks up and she made a surprised noise as she caught sight of something red moving in the forest while slowly disappearing into the green.

"is there something wrong, princess?" Arcadios asked Hisui while glancing at her.

"n-nothing" replied Hisui to the knight who blinked once to hear how she replied

"HIsui, come and eat-kabo!" Toma called out to Hisui as the servants had prepared the picnic meal for their king and princess.

"yes!" said Hisui in reply as she was about to go to her father with Arcadios following behind, but her ears caught the sound of the same echoing roar that is somehow a bit smaller than before. Hisui turns to see where it came from but was stopped by Toma who called out to her

"Hisui!" Toma called out as Hisui looks to her father then to the forest before deciding to check it later. Hisui soon came running to her father with Arcadios following behind as she sat beside her father by the picnic table.

A few moments later, Toma and Hisui with Arcadios accompanying by were walking around the forest after the picnic as they had decided to look around the nature around them.

"a peaceful and calm day in such a beautiful forest-kabo" said Toma with a smile as to see some birds chirping around by a tree's branch.

"yes. very agreeable, my king" said Arcadios with a nod.

Toma looks around the beautiful nature surrounding before he caught sight of Hisui so curiously looking around the bushes as if she wanted to find something.

"what's wrong, Hisui?" Toma asked his daughter "are you trying to find something-kabo?"

"a roar" Hisui replied as she looks around the place

"a roar?" said Toma while looking confused.

"last night, I heard a roar coming from the forest then I see something flying from the forest before falling back into it" Hisui explained to her father who blinked twice before rubbing his chin

"something flying-kabo?" said Toma before the three hears the bushes behind them started rustling and shaking. They turn to see what it was and they got their answer when a large bear came walking out of the bushes.

"your majesty! Princess! Behind me!" exclaimed Arcadios while drawing out his sword and wielded it against the bear which let out a growl in response.

"Hisui!" exclaimed Toma as he got in front of Hisui while protectively covering her from front. Hisui looks in fear as to see a wild bear that growls at them. "step back slowly" Toma whispered to Hisui as they slowly backed away from the bear while Arcadios faces it.

The bear looks at them and did a low growl as it got on two feet before roaring at them.

In action, Toma took out a small dagger stored by his waist while Arcadios readied his sword at the bear.

Hisui took a few more steps back before feeling her whole body being pulled back by gravity.

"eh?" said Hisui in confusion as she started to see the sky and then a cliff and realizes that she is falling off a cliff then screamed. "kyaaaa!"

Hearing her screams, Toma and Arcadios turns and their eyes widen wide as to see Hisui falling off a cliff that they were backing off to

"HISUI!" "PRINCESS!" Toma and Arcadios screamed as they ran and tried to reach out to grab her hand but failed as they were too late.

"FATHER!" Hisui screams as she falls down the cliff and towards the forest below the cliff.

"HISUI!" Toma screamed in tears before seeing Hisui disappearing into the bottom forest. "HISUI!"

Arcadios grunted in frustration before he glances at the bear that had gone away after it has shown disinterest in them.

"Arcadios call the guards here now!" Toma shouted as he started running down the cliff to save his daughter. "call them quickly-kabo!"

at the bottom forest area below the cliff, we find Hisui within as she is still alive after landing on a patch of brown fur.

"where?" said Hisui as she sat upon the patch of brown fur that soon moved around. The young princess looks down and realizes that she is sitting on top of a large brown bear that is in the middle of eating a dead boar. "eeepp!" Hisui screams as she got off the bear and leans to a tree while shaking in fear.

The large brown bear stops eating after hearing Hisui's scream as it turns to look at her while letting out an angry growl. Hisui had tears in her eyes as she was backed against a tree with a bear in front of her

The bear got closer to her as it lets out a low growl and stood up on its hind leg before roaring

"Mother!" Hisui screamed out as she closed her eyes and awaits her death. But it never came as a loud inhuman beast roar was heard from behind the tree Hisui backed against. The bear stopped its attempt as it looks scared before running away.

Upon momentarily fright had passed, Hisui slowly opens her eyes and sees the bear running away as she looks confused and a bit frightened before she looks behind tree and is face to face with a creature from her storybooks

"…a dragon…!?" Hisui said in fear as she gaze upon a red scaled dragon which is the size of a one-floor house. The red dragon's eyes look at Hisui as it breathes out a heavy gust of wind from its snout at her.

Hisui closes her eyes from the heavy gust as she then sees the dragon turning to look back before it started to walk away.

"wait!" Hisui exclaimed before wincing in pain a bit as she looks down to see that her knee is grazed. "ow" the young princess kneels and touched her grazed knee before seeing the dragon looking at her

The dragon let out a low growl as it leaned its head to Hisui. Hisui look at the red dragon as it started licking her knee with its snake like tongue, the young girl had to suppress a giggle as the dragon's tongue is very ticklish

The red dragon finished licking her knee as Hisui looks down to see her knee all healed up.

"Wow" Hisui looks in amazement at the amazing healing property that the dragon's saliva has and she was about to thank the red dragon when it suddenly disappeared.

"where did you go?" Hisui called out before hearing some shouting coming from behind her as she turns to see Toma, Arcadios, and several soldiers running towards her.

"HISUI!" Toma exclaimed in tears as he quickly hugs her. "thank god!...thank god you are not hurt!" Toma cried out as he hugs his daughter

"did anything happen to you?!" Arcadios exclaimed as Hisui look to where the red dragon was last standing then back to the knight

"no" Hisui replied to Arcadios as everyone was relieved of her safety while not knowing the young princess' encounter with the dragon.

After rescuing Hisui, the day turned to evening as the sun was slowly setting in the distance with the sky turning orange. We turn our attention to the carriage carrying the two royalties back to the kingdom as it is time to rest for the young princess.

"a legend?" said Hisui to her father who nodded as they were having a small conversation

"yes, there is a legend in that forest-kabo" Toma explained as he crossed his arms "100 years ago, the kingdom was in a great war with a nation coming from the seas-kabo. Rains of arrows, and boulders came hailing from the sky and soldiers charging towards the kingdom to crumble it down. everything was burned in flames of chaos and destruction-kabo" Toma paused a bit while having illustrated the legend with his hands before continuing. "but….one day in the past, the kingdom was saved, as a red dragon descended from the sky above and defended the kingdom from the invaders-kabo."

Hisui eyes widen in amazement as she imagined the red dragon from her previous encounter.

"the red dragon spewed out red flames upon the enemy and destroyed the invaders then sends them packing home-kabo" said Toma with a few chuckles

"what happened to the dragon then?" Hisui asked while having a curious face.

"no one really knows" Toma replied to her "the legend says that the red dragon disappeared into the woods near the kingdom and was never to be seen again-kabo."

Hisui wowed from hearing the legend before looking to the forest as she could see something red was standing within the trees. She looks closer as she could see that it was the red dragon that saved her from the bear before.

The red dragon stared at her within the carriage before it turns around and walks away. Hisui looks at the forest one last time as the red dragon was slowly disappearing within the woods.

"maybe that dragon….is the same dragon from the legend" Hisui thought to herself before she smiles excitedly. 'alright! I'll go and meet that dragon tomorrow!'

That's a wrap!

Bye bye
