Upon the days in Crocus, the citizens were walking around and doing their daily activities when the ground started to shake and tremor, but the citizens just did their activities normally while Natsu came stomping by, carrying Hisui in his right claw's palm.
"there! That store over there!" said Hisui while pointing to a nearby magic store below.
"that one, huh?" said Natsu as he walks near the store before leaning down his right claw for Hisui to hop off. The Young princess went inside the store while Natsu stayed outside before he glanced and sees some eyes of the citizens watching him before they went off to do their usual thing when he glanced at them. "seems that some are still afraid of myself, huh?"
Natsu soon glances back to the magic store as Hisui came back out with a middle aged looking man who looks with wide eyes at the Dragon.
"so, do you believe it is possible?" said Hisui to the man.
"w-well….with the right materials…." Muttered the middle aged man while cupping his chin and hummed in thinking. "his size seems to be in my range of techniques…"
"can you do it?" asked Hisui again to the man.
"I believe I can, but I need to fashion them with materials from himself" replied the man while scratching his chin. "ordinary magic imbued clothing won't work so well with his large size"
"will these do?" asked Natsu to the old man while placing a large sack filled with white scales that are his shed scales. "these are some of my scales that I have shed over the years of my growth"
"o-oh…..yes….these will very much do well" said the man with a bewildered face as he picks up one white scale and examined it. "I might be able to fashion about 5-7 sets of clothing from these scales"
"my father will handle the payment. how long will you need to make them?" said Hisui to the man while handing him a small pouch sack filled with golden coins.
"w-well…since this is the first time for myself to fashion clothing from a legendary creature such as your friend here…." Said the man while still examining the white scale from all side. "the processing of turning this clothes into fabric might take up to a week or two…..and amount of time to imbue them with magic is another week….i predict that it would take at least a month or so, Princess"
"that is fine" stated Natsu "that is enough time for me to be patient of. And please remember to make it the size of a young man in the age of 14-16. My human transformation form is of that age"
"y-yes. I shall take note of that" replied the man while dragging the sack filled with white scales to his store. "i-I shall notify t-the kingdom guards of their finish"
"we're counting on you, sir" said Hisui while getting on Natsu's right claw's palm before the two started walking back to the castle, leaving behind large footprints from the Dragon's heavy footsteps.
"what were the princess and that large dragon doing at his store?" "making clothes with the dragon's scales?" "I heard that dragon scales are as hard as metal and very powerful even after shedded" "just look at the footprints! We just finished fixing up the ones at the gates!" the chatters and whispers of the kingdom's citizens spreads out as things in the kingdom isn't all nice and peaceful in some areas.
Turning our attention to Natsu and Hisui, the two heads back to Mercurius where they rest themselves within the garden.
"you sure you can wait a month, Natsu?" Hisui asked the Dragon while laying her back on Natsu's head. "I'm sure that we can find a mage who can imbue clothes very fast"
"it's fine. patience is something I always have" replied Natsu with his eyes closed. "and besides. My current clothing is good enough"
"n-not really" said Hisui with an awkward smile.
Previously for the past few days, Toma with Arcadios noted to Natsu and Hisui that the Dragon's human transformed form doesn't have the proper clothing etiquette because of the fact that his clothes are just a pair of black ragged baggy pants.
Hisui tried to give Natsu some of the castle's clothings and they fit perfectly, the only problem is that Natsu is a Fire Dragon and when he transforms the clothes given to him shreds to pieces or burns to ashes every time. Each time the Dragon wears ordinary clothes, his transformation to his real form just destroys them. Therefore they decided to get the Dragon some magic imbued clothing instead that are known to be fireproof, or any type of proofing there is while also being able to be increased in size and anything.
"maybe we should also make another set of clothing for you in this form" said Hisui to Natsu who hummed in confusion. "I mean, wouldn't it be a bit weird that you're a large dragon who wears large magic clothing like a person?"
Natsu thought of it as he had an imagination bubble appear and he imagined himself in his dragon form while wearing a large white shirt and a pair of pants that made him want to laugh at himself.
"i-I guess so…" replied Natsu with a bit of an awkward tone.
"I thought about it" said Hisui while smiling as she reaches into her dress' side pocket and takes out a folded piece of paper that she unfolds, and it had a drawing of Natsu's Dragon form while wearing armor. "we should get you a set of armor that would befit you. That way everyone can see that you are a kind and peaceful dragon"
"how does my real form wearing armor prove to this kingdom's citizens that I am peaceful?" asked Natsu, not seeing Hisui's point of view.
"in Crocus, there is an old saying that those who wear armor with the crest of Fiore are warriors of peace and kindness" stated Hisui in explanation. "many people of Fiore wear the Fiore symbol as a badge of honor, pride, kindness, and many things. If you are given that symbol, it means you are a protector of peace and kindness"
"peace and kindness, huh?" said Natsu before remembering his father; Igneel's last word before his petrification death. "might be correlated with my father's given mission"
"right? Come on" said Hisui as she sat on Natsu's head before sliding down. "I know a certain magic armor that will fit your name and size"
"you do?" said Natsu who glows before transforming into his teenage human form that only wears the ragged baggy pants.
Natsu with Hisui walks upon the castle's stairs as they are going to the basement floor level of the entire structure.
"this is the Weapons and Armor Vault" said Hisui to Natsu as she guides him to a dark corridor while holding a magic lacrima lantern in hand. "this is the place where many great generals of the past store their pass down weapons and armors within"
"so it's like a storage room for them?" said Natsu as Hisui nodded while they stopped in front of a large gate like door.
"something like that" replied Hisui as she waved a hand up then to the side and the large gate made an echoing creaking sound while slowly opening.
Dust started to pick up as the gate opened and revealed a large chamber that is lighted with many lacrima lanterns hanged on the walls. The lacrima lanterns lit the entire chamber and revealed countless amounts of weapons ranging from swords, spears, axes, magic guns, armors, and many more.
"I didn't realize how humans treasure heirlooms" said Natsu as Hisui just giggles before she went into the chamber first before the salmon haired man followed behind.
Hisui with Natsu walks within the chamber as they walked pass many weapons stored in large and small glass cases.
"I can sense some magic coming from these weapons" said Natsu while glancing at a nearby large golden axe stored in a glass case. "some of which are imbued with strong magic residue too"
"they were all weapons forged by the greatest magic blacksmiths from Fiore in the past. They took pride in making each one" Hisui explained to Natsu while looking at some weapons encased in the glass cases. "even my father was given a great magic sword by a great blacksmith who had passed away a few months ago. My father treasures the sword with his whole life"
"I see" replied Natsu before he with Hisui stopped in front of a stone pedestal that had a glass case on top while holding within it a red dragon designed armor. "this is?"
"this armor was forged by Lorenz Thorsen, a great blacksmith from X757. The armor is worn by First Rank General, Seres Flamel; the legendary Fire General of Hell" said Hisui while looking at the armor.
"Fire General of Hell?" said Natsu with a curious tone.
"he defended the front lines of Fiore's borders by setting the large barricade on fire and took down 1000 soldiers for 6 days straight while allowing his allies to retreat to safety" replied Hisui in telling the history of the armor's previous wearer. "Seres Flamel was a great General who always cared for his allies and would prioritize their safety over his own. Many soldiers of today aspired to be just like him. If only…"
"if only?" said Natsu in hearing how she paused while starting to have an awkward look.
"if only he wasn't so clumsy doing normal daily things" said Hisui with a sweatdrop as she had an imagination bubble of the famous general who is falling off the stairs from a dropped banana skin.
"the generals of your kingdom's past must have unique personalities, huh?" said Natsu with a sweatdrop.
"a-anyway. This armor was placed here after Seres Flammel passing" said Hisui as she went to the stone pedestal's side and pressed down a side tile that made the glass case disappear. "and I'm sure it's waiting a new wearer"
"are you sure that I will be able to wear this armor?" asked Natsu to Hisui who nodded.
"Seres Flammel was a general soldier and also a Fire mage, the armor was made with the finest processed form of an extinct Lava Lizard's scales and can withstand a very high leveled fire/ blast attack." Hisui explained to Natsu while glancing at the armor "Also it's imbued with magic that allows the armor to grow in size along with its wearer too"
"I see" said Natsu as he looks at the armor before he jumped and stood in front of it. The salmon haired man looks at the armor before he placed a hand on its chest plate. The armor glows red before it breaks into parts then equips itself to Natsu's body one by one.
"how is it?" Hisui asked Natsu who jumped down while wearing the armor from head to toe. The salmon haired man looks at his armor covered hands then lifted his armored covered legs one by one before glancing at the princess.
"fits perfectly" said Natsu as he takes off the helmet and shakes his head. "although it's a bit dusted"
"then let's go and air it out," said Hisui with a smile.
Upon the sky, the clouds were just floating peacefully before Natsu came flying through them while wearing the armor that grew in his large dragon form.
"this armor is not bad" said Natsu as he flew down and looks at his reflection on a large water stream. "it managed to fit my large size too"
"see? It fits you perfectly!" said Hisui while in Natsu's right claw's palm and holding to one of his claws. "come on! Let's go faster!"
"got it" Natsu replied before he holds Hisui close with both hands then flaps his wings once and then soars through the sky at high speed.
The red armored dragon soars through the clouds and disappears to the blue sky above.
