three months later in Fairy Tail.
Nearly all the Tenrou Group are sitting by tables as they all look drained of energy except for Cana and Lucy who awkwardly smiles to see her guild members looking drained.
"I still…got to work….to pay….my rent!" uttered Gray as he tried to stand up before he just fell on his seat and let out a tired sigh. "I can't even move after the quest I did yesterday!"
"damnit…." Groaned Gajeel in tiresome as he is also behind paying his rent.
"we can't even get an loan because it's against the guild's rules.." cried Levy as she still needs more jewels to pay the dorm's rent.
"you're so lucky, Lucy-san" said Wendy while in tears as the young girl has to get lots of jewels to pay her dorm room's rent where she still needs to get more jewels than before. "you got money from your kind father!"
"don't cry!" said Charla to Wendy as both had to work hard to pay for their rent because they are sharing the same room.
"hahaha…." Lucy awkwardly laughs as she pitied her friends who has to pay lots of money for their overdue rent pay.
"I can't believe just how much tax that we piled up…" said Mira while groaning in tiresome as she and her siblings just got back from a quest that only paid half of their house's tax. "….being away for 7 years feels like painful ass biting karma"
"we are still behind a few more hundred thousand jewels" Lisanna moaned in tiresome.
"and we only have three months left" said Evergreen, everyone has to work hard if they wanted to pay for their homes.
"there aren't that many high paying jobs left too" added Bickslow as the request board is nearly empty because of them taking on quest after quest just to pay for their rent and tax money.
"hey, Kinana. Are there any jobs with high pays left?" asked Elfman to the barmaid who is passing by with a tray of drinks in her hand.
"If there were, I would've put them on the request board already" said Kinana with a smile before walking away to give the drinks to the ones who had ordered.
"sucks to be you guys, hahahaha!" laughed Cana to the group while drinking some beer.
"shut up, Cana!" said Mira as she glares at her.
"sorry, but I got a dad who has lots of jewels to pay for my rent!" said Cana with a laugh as Gildarts is an S-class Mage and also a rich mage who has lots of savings. "never in my life have I been so happy to have such a sugar daddy before!"
"that woman!" growled Erza angrily as Cana is being smug and gloating of her superiority.
Natsu soon came walking down the stairs as he takes slow steps before he reached the bottom where he finds the group dead tired.
"what's wrong here?" asked Natsu, seeing his friends all tired.
"they got tired from doing so many jobs to get their rent and taxed paid" said Macao who is sitting on a table nearby with Wakaba.
"they literally cleared any high paying jobs from the request board!" added Wakaba with a chuckle.
Natsu hummed a bit amused as he glanced and sees the nearly empty request board where Nab is always standing by just checking the jobs which suits him truly. He then looks at the tired group and sighs with a smile.
"hey" Natsu called out to the group as they glance at him. "looking for high paying jobs, right?"
"yeah, but there aren't any left" said the tired group in unison before Natsu tapped the bottom of his staff two times on the floor, a request paper appeared in sparkles before it flies down to the table, where Erza and the others look at it.
"I just happen to have one in safe keeping" said Natsu as Lucy takes hold of the request paper and reads it.
"I need assistance in guarding my family while I am away, I will pay 5,000,000 jewels each to the one or those who accept my request?!" said Lucy as this got the attention of the Tenrou Group who are in need of money.
"where is the client?!" exclaimed everyone as they needed the job and the money.
"the client is…" said Lucy as she searched for the name of the one who put up the request and her eyes soon turned into confusion. "Natsu?"
Everyone soon looks at Natsu who smiled before he taps his staff down and sat down on a nearby chair.
"I'll be off with gramps for a week to a meeting with some officials of the councils, I need some help" said Natsu while leaning his staff against his right shoulder. "I won't be able to help Haruka and Haruo train their magic, I won't be able to maintain the guild's paperwork, I won't be able to handle the care of the Sakura trees, I won't be able to get groceries for Ikaruga, and I won't be able to take care of Ikki like I usually do." Natsu listed out the things that he daily done to the group before a sack appeared in his right grasp as it is filled with jewels. "I'll pay double to the one who is willing to change Ikki's diaper when Ikaruga is busy cooking and all"
"We'll take it!" exclaimed Erza and the others, willing to do any job just to get money to pay their rent.
"so fast to agree" said Lucy with a sweatdrop.
The days begun for the group as everyone went to work with what Natsu listed out to them to do. Erza, Gray, Juvia, and Mira help train Haruka and Haruo with their magic; Freed, Bickslow, and Evergreen takes care of the Sakura Cave; Gajeel, and Levy takes care of the Guild's paperwork; Lisanna with Elfman helps buying lots of groceries for Natsu's family with the given jewels; and Wendy, Charla, and Lily helps Ikaruga in taking care of Ikki. Everyone did their best as this job seems to be the most simplest and easiest because of how it is something that they usually do 7 years back.
We turn our attention to the guild's backyard whereby the cliffside, Erza is training Haruo in his swordsmanship, the scarlet knight fending of his wooden sword swing with just a staff.
"haaa!" shouted Haruo in a battle cry as he swung his wooden sword upwards, but Erza blocked with the staff before she spins it and knocks Haruo's head. "ow!"
"don't stop moving just after you swing your weapon" said Erza as she holds the staff by her side. "at moments of time, you might be facing against an enemy who won't be given the chance to take rest. Keep moving till your enemy is no longer attacking you"
"I know that!" said Haruo while rubbing his head before he holds his wooden sword with both hands then he strikes his weapon against Erza who blocks it with the staff before she swung it to the side as the young boy blocks it before pushing the staff away then went on the attack again.
While Erza trains Haruo with his swordsmanship, Gray with Juvia and Mira are training Haruka with her magic as Lucy joined in to teach.
Haruka jumped into the air as she exploded into pink smoke before she came out as a small white mouse.
"now this is some training you've been doing for the years, Haruka" said Mira, eying how Haruka can transform into the smallest of creatures. "even for Lisanna, it took her nearly 4 years to be able to change into small animals like a mouse"
"is it that hard to change into small animals?" asked Juvia while Haruka transforms back into her human form.
"it is. Transformation to an animal is the easy part, but the hard part is how a mage can change his/her size" explained Mira. "even for Take-over mages like me, Elfman, and Lisanna, it's not that simple to transform while changing size. You got to have a good image on the size of the creature or thing that you want to transform into"
"I guess Haruka here has good imagination" said Lucy while petting Haruka's head, the young girl smiling.
"so basically, she got her Transformation magic down, what do we teach her next?" asked Gray while only in his boxers that got him a punch by Mira.
"don't strip in front of Haruka, you stripping lunatic!" shouted Mira
"buwaah!" Gray went flying into the pool as he sank into the water.
"Gray-sama!" screamed Juvia as she ran to help her beloved man.
"even after 7 years passing by, he can't change his habit" said Lucy with a sigh as she sees Juvia taking Gray out of the pool in a sphere of water before she hears Haruka giggling.
"it's nice to see Gray-niichan and everyone doing the same thing as many years ago" said Haruka with a happy and nostalgic smile. "I missed this all!"
Mira and Lucy looks at Haruka before to each other and smiled as the young girl loves the guild and everyone in it to the point she loves the usually daily shenanigans.
"now then" said Mira while placing her hands on her hips. "let's start on training your Transformation Magic on people"
Haruka nodded before she jumps and transforms into Lucy, but the transformation isn't perfect as the young girl is Lucy but at her height unlike the real one.
"can we start with someone who is not me?" asked Lucy as Haruka has only been transforming as herself by the passing days.
At the Sakura Cave; Freed, Bickslow, and Evergreen are managing the grass, cleaning up the weeds, and raking away fallen sakura petals.
"man, why do we get stuck with this part of the job?" asked Ever while raking away the sakura petals to a pile of fallen branches, weeds, and petals.
"don't whine, just be glad that we got a high paying job" said Bickslow as he grabs a pile of fallen branches in his hands with his floating totems helping. "do you want to get stuck sorting out lots of paperwork like Levy and Gajeel?"
"just because it's paperwork, doesn't mean that it'll be tiring than this!" said Evergreen while grumbling.
"stop whining" said Freed as he wields his rapier that he swung to the side, cutting the long grass short to same height of each other. "we should be thankful for getting the job, and be grateful to Natsu who takes back Laxus in"
"but still…" said Evergreen before sighing tiredly as she leans against her rake and looks around the caves, the Sakura trees grown bigger and more beautiful, Ash with Flake are with their children who were once hatchlings and are now grownups after 7 years. The Wyvern Family sleeping by as they snored in their sleep "the place is a lot bigger than years ago, huh?"
"can't argue on that one" said Bickslow as he throws the pile of fallen branches to the bigger pile.
Freed smiled as he continued cutting the grass to the right inch before he heard several footsteps coming from the direction of the cave's entrance.
"who could that be?" asked Evergreen while turning to look and see who is coming into the cave.
"probably Cana, she always likes to drink off laughing here, remember?" replied Bickslow while sighing as his totems repeated his last words 'remember? Remember?'
"that girl never changes" said Freed with a sigh before his eyes spotted the person or rather people coming into the cave.
"did she brought others?" asked Bickslow seeing three shadows coming into the cave.
Freed looks at the three shadows before he sees Ash and his family were all up and growling menacingly, the Sakura trees were glowing rather dark as it is a clear sign that something is not right.
The footsteps stopped as the three mages saw two figures wearing cloaks and hoods.
Moments later outside of the Sakura cave, an explosion rang out as flames and smoke flew right out of the cave's entrance.
